Contents/Warnings: Lynette brings home her coworker, Alexander, after a tiny potion mishap and leaves him alone with her brother Wicks. (Unwilling Prey, willing? pred?, Soft/Safe vore, light teasing,).
Wordcount: 2,700 + (an extra that was voted upon on my server).
Song I listened to on repeat for this chapter: Fuck you - Lily Allen
Side note: I WILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND READING WIDFALI AT LEAST TO CH. 56 TO UNDERSTAND THE CIRCUMSTANCES FOR THIS! (This is a maybe noncannon goof, for now).
_____________________________________________
Wicks
Of course he doesn't have anywhere else to go. Alexander's family, the main problem that plagued Wicks sister, Lynette, left on a small vacation without him. And Alexander had fallen victim to one of Claudia's shrink potions after losing a bet with Lynette.
Unfortunately work deemed her the most competent to watch him. Wicks grumbled in his head.
He lazily held his head up with his palm and swayed it back and forth by pivoting his elbow.
Wicks looked over at Lynette. She was brewing some herbal tea for him and herself. Then he squinted at the tiny Alexander sitting on the counter next to the giant cage with bedding. Alexander's body was hunched over with his hands pressed at his face.
Curiously, Wick's let his hazel eyes glowed softly. It was a giveaway for a magus when they used magic.
He used his to break into the tiny male's thoughts.
That's it! Wicks lurched over after doing so; his hand shot forward. Alexander reacted fast, but Wicks made himself faster to grab his legs. He successfully wrapped his fingers around Alexander's and pinched his ankles together.
He swung Alexander to his face, and spoke with a hiss, "Pinche cabrón."
Lynette flinched at his words and turned around with his cup of tea. "Wicks-"
"Let go, asshole!" Alexander yelled out. He lifted his upper body into a sit-up to press at Wicks's fingers that held him.
Oh, I'll let you go, alright. He got ready to whip Alexander across the room.
His sister slammed down the cup and threw herself on top of the counter, "don't be mean, Wicks! Drop him!"
"I'm mean?" Wicks pointed at the upside-down tiny, "He's STILL thinking about eating you. That's all he's thinking about."
Lynette's hand that was reaching to grab Alexander from him hesitated. She turned her head away, "that doesn't mean you should swing him around like that."
The blonde with glasses growled in a rebuttal, "I'm in a house with a human, AND her scent is fucking everywhere!" Wicks glared at him. "The potion didn't erase the Wendigo half, what do you expect!"
Wicks stared back at his sister as if saying, see! But, he only saw the plead in her eyes. Wicks dropped his head and sighed.
He lowered him then pretended his fingers slipped. "Whoops."
The tiny male struck the counter.
Her scowl flashed Wicks and he defended himself, "Even if he wasn't practically invincible from that potion, he could take A LOT more than that. He's fine."
She huffed and slipped back behind the counter.
He watched her lean down to Alexander and ask him if he was okay. She put a gloved hand out, specifically wearing them in case Alexander was tempted to lick her. Something Wicks required her to do.
You shouldn't waste your patience on him, Lentils. Wicks thought.
Lynette put her hands up, "Stay here, Xander." She met her brothers gaze.
She swung around from the kitchen, grabbed her brother's arm, and pulled him off his bar stool. She dragged him to her room.
He hadn't entered it often, especially as she had the glow star ceiling construction going on. His eyes quickly drifted to the few stars and planets on the ground, the missing bar stool laying sideways on her bed, and the open plastic bag laying on the floor.
She better not be balancing that bar stool on her bed.
She let him go, shut the door, and her narrowed forestry green hue got his attention. "You dropped him on purpose."
Wicks smirked and muttered under his breath, "I wish I could do a lot more to that bastard."
"Wicks."
He watched the disappointment pour from her slumped stance. Come on. Do you seriously have- He pressed his bangs back, soured his face like he ate a bag of warhead candies, then released everything with a sigh. "Fine." You shouldn't associate with monsters like him. His bangs went over his eyes.
"Good." She said.
His much shorter sister approached him. The top of her head went to the base of his neck. She threw her hands up and plopped them onto his shoulders gently. She stared up. "Can I trust you to watch him if I shower and get on a quick call with Charletta?"
You and I both know your calls with Charletta are rarely ever quick.
"Why does he need to be watched?"
"He doesn't have his phone; at least put on a movie or something so he can be entertained," Lynette said, dropping her arms.
Her voice strummed with pity.
"Suurrre." Wicks groaned.
Lynette squinted, "wiiiiiicckssss."
"Lentils." He squinted back.
"You know my mom always said to kill people with kindness." Lynette appeared to regret what she said. She braced her lips together.
Wicks rested his hand on her head. "and it makes me jealous that you're patient enough to do it." He started to ruffle her soft and slightly curly red hair.
She protested and pulled back, "HEY!"
"You're gonna fix your hair after your shower anyway," he said, sticking out his tongue playfully.
She pouted her lips endearingly. She couldn't hide the small raised corners of her mouth.
It eased him to see her happy. She'd push herself tirelessly to always keep them all smiling, so he was glad he could do the same.
"Now go take your shower."
"I will," Lynette said.
He left her room, closed the door behind him, and remembered the problem she left him with.
I'm sure you've been nothing but kind to him, Lentils. He looked over at the couch and T.V. then back to the kitchen's bar counter that overlooked the living room. I doubt he shows you the same grace.
Wicks' light olive fingers touched the top of the couch as he passed it. He made it to the granite counter. Alexander was laying down on it, a hand on his abdomen and an arm across his eyes.
Wicks looked over his shoulder at the T.V. He didn't want to give him the pleasure. I should leave him here.
"something so he can be entertained." Her request rang in his head. Yeah, yeah.
His mind dove into deep and unfamiliar territory, a thought he never had before and felt partially disgusted that he did.
I couldn't... He stared at the tiny Alexander's hand that rested on his abdomen. How many times has he eaten my sister? Wicks asked himself. He knew Lynette lied to him about the details and how often he did so.
Wicks sat down and took a deep breath, "hey."
Alexander moved his arm from his eyes in time for Wicks to grab him.
Alexander's body tensed up. Wicks struggled to grab the glasses-clad tiny. He pinched at his shirt back to lift Alexander without choking him.
"Stop picking me up," Alexander's vocals emitted a deeper vibration like a growl.
It wasn't threatening to Wicks given the male's current height.
Wicks ignored his request and asked his own question, "Have you ever been eaten before?"
Alexander's brows scrunched together in annoyance, moving his glasses up on his nose. "Plenty of times, yeah. Why?"
That's surprising. Most monsters hate the taste of hybrids.
Wicks rapped his other hands fingers on the counter. "How long are you stuck like this? Three days?"
Alexander's snippy attitude groaned, "What of it?"
Wicks lifted Alexander to eye level, he wanted to watch his expression change. "You know, a magus like me can regulate whether I take energy from things or not, right?"
Confusion enveloped the blonde's usually annoyed face, "Yeah, what's your point?"
Wicks's head slumped over to the side. He can't be this dense. He brought Alexander closer, his warm, fresh breath met the male. "Why would I bring those up in tandem?"
"How the fuck am I supposed to know?" He hung limply, "They don't have any-" His words stopped. His storm-bluish gray hue widened in consternation. "Fuck no, asshole, put me down!"
Took you long enough. Wicks smirked, partially amused that it took him so long to put everything together.
"There's no fucking point; you can take my energy via touch. What would you gain by eating me?!" Alexander argued.
Wicks twisted the grip on the back of the blonde's uniform, "I'll gain plenty." Wicks gulped back his apprehensiveness. Am I really threatening to eat someone?
Alexander was right; the only reason Wicks had was payback.
How would I even do this? Feet first?
He thought it'd be better to see Alexander's displeasure that way.
Alexander's eyes glowed in retaliation—he was about to use magic. You're not getting out of this.
Wicks wrapped his right hand around Alexander's four-inch tall body and squeezed.
The male squirmed in Wicks's grip, "fucker."
Don't like it when you're not in control, do ya? He kept up the pressure and peered at the feet sticking out.
Do I want to eat his shoes too? Is it weird to take them off? More questions pried their way into Wicks's head, making his trepidation rise.
Stay focused. He probably takes his damn time eating her, might as well do the same.
He removed Alexander's shoes and socks and opened his mouth, not very wide. Wicks's pinky rose to allow more of Alexander's leg's to enter his mouth first.
Up to his calves slipped inside Wicks's jaw and his eyes glimmered with surprise. He had his face scrunched awaiting the rumored foul taste—there wasn't, at least to Wicks.
You don't taste that bad.
Alexander had a faint bitter taste like a 90% dark chocolate bar and fortunately, Wicks enjoyed bitter things.
Is this how people typically taste?
He could feel Alexander's feet push at his tongue, not that they'd gain any traction. You're lucky I don't try and bite you.
He wandered to the visible distaste Alexander held. It definitely made this better.
Wicks lifted another finger, taking more of his legs between his lips. Much like with monsters, Wicks received the taste of their energy through fabric.
Alexander's feet pressed at the back of his throat and uvula. It made Wicks gag. Quit.
"I can tell you're already full-on energy, asshole." Alexander thrashed his body the best he could in Wicks's grip.
That's not the point.
Wicks tipped his head back to allow more to slip inside. He finally let go of Alexander entirely; more than half of his body was in Wicks mouth, while the other half was "free" to groan about his predicament.
Alexander's hands pressed at Wicks's lips, trying to escape. Even at his current size, the glasses-clad male was strong. But, Wicks clamped his teeth on his waist enough to keep him in place.
"Fuck. If you're going to eat me, do it already!" Alexander whined, clearly not wanting this outcome.
He hit Wick's uvula again. Ack. Wicks parted his lips, grabbed Alexander's arms, and pulled them up. Then, he guided more of the male's body in.
He could feel his throat latch down on Alexander's legs as they entered it. Instinctively Wicks wanted to gulp.
He moved his tongue up to stroke Alexander, controlling where he swayed inside the "giants" mouth. It pissed him off more.
"The hell-" The blonde cringed with a weaker tone, "Are you getting some sick satisfaction from this!?"
Duh, I wouldn't eat you otherwise. I'm glad you hate it. Alexander was successfully pulling his legs up.
It forced Wicks to open his mouth up once more, ready to silence him. He had eaten tiny Alexander up to his head; the only bit remaining outside of his mouth was the arms he pinched between his fingers.
The squirming worsened.
His wet muscle curled against Alexander's upper back and pushed him to the roof of his mouth. It drowned out the yelling, not so much the fighting. It continued to flare making Alexander continuously brush along Wick's canines.
I'm so lucky he's palpable, this makes it so much easier.
The build-up of saliva became too much, even with his head tilted upward. It made Wicks gulp it back, and his throat clutched on Alexander's body.
I should...
Wicks attempted his first swallow after he let his arms go. His throat strained. Glrk. Alexander created a solid pressure in it. His writhing bulge fought to stay put.
Wicks shut his eyes and tried to swallow again. The annoying tightness in his gullet remained. It wasn't working.
His eyes widened, shoot. Wicks sat up straight on his barstool and felt his neck. He needed water. Wicks almost left his seat to go to the sink but saw the tea Lynette made for him earlier. It was cool by now. He grabbed the cup and chugged the warm liquid.
The male's energy intensified the bitterness of the tea and successfully helped dislodge his hindrance. He put the cup back on the table and exhaled with relief. He ran his hand over his sore throat.
"Garter makes that look so easy," Wicks grumbled.
He felt the weight of Alexander travel all the way down his body and fall into his stomach.
That's...new. He didn't know how to feel about someone inside him, however, the reasoning made it satisfying enough.
He traced his teeth with his tongue, gathering what flavor he could. He leaned over the bar counter, his hand softly poking at his very active abdomen. At least, it felt that way on the inside; on the outside, it wasn't noticeable.
He kept his body from taking Alexander's energy so he'd stay awake during the ordeal.
He didn't find the feeling as perturbing as he thought he would. He was pretty filling.
Alexander occasionally got in a few good hits, but nothing that would hinder Wicks for more than a second or two.
Regardless, it bothered Wicks enough to do something about it. You wanna play like that? He pressed his abdomen and tightened his core muscles.
Wicks figured it constricted him because Alexander wasn't fighting as hard as before. That's better.
Wicks smirked deviously, his hazel hue gave off a golden glow.
He sent his thoughts straight to the tiny, "How's it feel in there, Xander?"
He didn't make it a two way connection, he knew it worked because Alexander's thrashing returned.
It almost feels like you're giving me a shiatsu massage. Wicks thought with a soft chuckle.
Wicks stretched his arms up, "this actually feels kinda nice."
Upon saying that aloud, he hunched over and put his hands over his mouth in disbelief. Why did I say that.
He let his then fall a few seconds after and the words slipped past his lips with dread, "I hope this doesn't awaken something in me."
Twenty minutes later
...
(Extra scene)
Wicks had kicked back on the couch, scrolling through his phone. He expected Lynette's call to go on for at least two more hours. So he had plenty of time to make Alexander think he'd keep him in there for three days. Though, things always go differently than he assumes.
Wicks sat up straight and turned to her. "Oh, cool." I'm never gonna hear the end of it.
"Wicks, Charletta had to leave the call early. She suddenly got really excited and had to tell Ulysses something?" Lynette shouted.
She left her bedroom and came to the living room.
She looked at the coffee table, the bar counter across the way and back to the off T.V.
She got closer, "Uh, where's Xander?"
Wicks chuckled nervously, "he's around." Why do you have to ask about him!
Lynette filled with panic, "Don't tell me you threw him somewhere?!" She started to search around the couch, telling him to get up in case Wicks put him under the couch cushions.
"He's not there-"
"Then where is he, Wicks!! I told you to put a movie on or something!"
"He's safe."
Lynette scanned her brother, "where," she put her hands in his hoodie pockets, they were empty. "Where?!"
Wicks turned his head to the side, his ponytail falling off his shoulder, "it's-he's gonna be fine. I was mad thinking about him eating you all the time and..." he rolled his head back to look at her. "So, I-"
The sudden realization made her squeak aloud, "YOU ATE HIM!"
Wicks could feel his cheeks starting to burn.
"It-well-he-" He couldn't even think of what to say. It embarrassed him to confirm it.
She grabbed his arm firmly, "don't give me any excuses! You are gonna get him out now!"
"I just ate him-" She's strong when she wants to be. Lynette usually had a much more delicate hold.
She tugged, "I don't care if it was only ten seconds!"
Wicks glanced at his phone. "It's been about twenty minutes..."
"AHHH!" She cried out, "don't tell me stuff like that! I didn't even know-" her cheeks looked as red as her brothers, "I'm NEVER trusting you to watch anyone again!"
"That's not-I'm trustworthy, I-" he couldn't form a single sentence out loud all because of his decision to take revenge. I hate you, Alexander.
...

Me and my friend have been reading your story together and they are a few chapters ahead of me but still we want to know your opinion on our favorite not canon ship. I know this might sound strange but it’s Lev x Wicks. We have almost the epitome of a court case to support why we ship this to if you’re interested.
Anyways, I want to thank you for writing this, when we have nothing to talk about in the group we just rant about your story and our favorite characters so have a Gouda day lol.
AHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HEWP ME. THANK YOU FOR READING AND ENJOYING.
So, okay, since you are at that point in the story. I am guessssssing, the one that I have on my other blog.
There are a few fun things that have not been explained in Widfali regarding them. However, I do not quite know where you are so I will withhold for now. LOL.
However, this is probably one of the most cursed ships, at this current point in the story. As spoiler free as possible below.
Between them, would be interesting though:
Tidbit - Something I realized as of late; Wicks is drawn to people (or more like dragged in) by people with strong personalities. Lynette and his other buddy, who you will meet later if you haven't Garter. Lynette and Garter both are very, "you're going to be my friend and like it". Lev also has a strong extroverted personality like them, so he'd drag in Wicks one way or another.
Personality -
Wicks is reserved. It's not shown much in the story but he's somewhat socially awkward. He doesn't do small talk, nor does he enjoy speaking to people if he doesn't have too. He is seen having fun or acting silly with Lynette because he's obviously very comfortable with his best friend and sister. Other than that, he tries to avoid conversation with people he's not close to unless it's important to discuss like work or he wants them to feel included. However, he usually gets stuck in his own head.
Lev on the other hand, LOVES conversation. He's not a fan of small talk either, he'll instead change the subject to find peoples interest or joke around and get them at ease. Traversing conversation does not scare him, if anything, he's mastered it.
Overall, they are both hard working and like to spend time with people they care about. They'd both value each other's time and would put effort into the other to improve themselves. Lev is more playful with his jabs though and Wicks would take them seriously. Which would lead to some "friendly" combativeness. Basically, Lev would tease the sh*t out of Wicks and Wicks would want to hide his embarrassment or fight.
Combability Relationship Wise -
It's honestly a mash up. I don't think Wicks could or would easily forgive and forget Lev's crimes against his sister. Even if Lynette said it was okay and forgave him. Wicks will hold a grudge. And uh, Lev with uh, insert spoiler here, would be a very funny given his history. Especially if he found out other certain family related matters, not talked about in Widfali yet. It will be in this current arc on my other account.
Other than that, they'd work as well as two alley cats in the same home. A lot of fighting, biting, hissing, and etc, at least at first. But they'd mellow out to one another eventually. I feel like Lev could win over Wicks, overtime. WHICH Lev is and will always be a very patient person. He has time to spare, and he will if he chooses to dedicate himself to someone.
Wicks's love language is words of affirmation which Lev would give him, similar to Lynette. It's the kind of reassurance Wicks needs as he questions himself constantly. While Wicks would do acts of service for Lev, trying to assist and get things done for him when he can. Wicks wants to make things easier on his partner, and Lev would appreciate it because it means he can get back to his odd hobbies and things so much faster.
...
"Realistic factors" (It's a fiction story so this is funny) -
Though, Lev goes on dates with humans, he'd probably want a Drakin like himself in a long-term relation because his species mates for life. Even if their mate passes, they'll never love in that way again.
Wicks would want control in the relationship and with Lev, that's a hard sell. Not that Lev would control every aspect of it, he might be a little at first because of his own personal need to plan everything out, he'd just hold enough power that Wicks would feel overwhelmed and worried. This would take time with trust.
And ha, most importantly, Lev ages slower than Wicks BY A LOT. Every forty years Lev ages up one year. Sorry to fans. Unless there was a way to stop someone's aging/change someone into something that lives a very long time, it probably wouldn't happen. Technically there are a few methods. The risk of death is there. They won't be talked about in Widfali...probably?
...
That being said. I HAVE written, but never editted and published a funny joke for April fools about Lynette having a nightmare where Wicks and Lev were dating, get married, and then he eats Wicks in front of her. xDDD
SO, THIS WAS SO HILARIOUS TO READ. Thank you for making me crack up so much. You and your friend better have a wonderful day! (Nonnegotiable).

Link to the main story where these dofus's are from, Widfali. AND if you want to join to, here's the prompt I'm using, Ta-daa!

Funfact: Their phones are actually pretty bulky and are able to withstand being submerged for long periods of time in case they are to accidently fall into the depths, as their cameras have amazing camera's for footage. (They'd mostly only use them for smaller depths instead of out on the ocean, then they'd use their heavy suit cameras).
HAVE A SWELL DAY!! (Nonnegotiable)

Oh my god there was SO much good stuff here-
I am still wondering what's up with Alex's relationship with his parents, specifically Petes. This was kind of cute but also, Xander, why you gotta be so grumpy to your dad, man.
I love Drake's sassing of Alexander.
Resisting the urge to quote all of Wick's dialogue with Xander-
The major problem.
God I love him.
SAY IT. GO AHEAD. TELL HER SOMETHING.
GO. OFF. KILL HIM.
"Fuck off," Alexander pressed his finger at his chest, "don't act all high and mighty over me. I'm nice to humans."
I actually had to stop reading to laugh because BITCH-
Also the ending oh my god. Wicks, please misunderstand and kill the wendigo. Just do it. It's okay. You have my blessing. This is the misunderstanding trope used in the best way possible lmaoo
Keep it coming with the banger chapters, Lucky! <3
Day 47 - Precipitation Shaft (Nov. 7th, Monday) Part 1
Contents (Warnings): The small little difficulties(Angsty, vore mentions, teasing (of a different kind), and character/monster info).
Wordcount: 3,300+ (Didn't expect this to be 2 parts BUT-)
Side note: This will contain experimental writing, first person (Lynette's view) will be implemented alongside third person for the two other essential characters, (mostly) Alexander and (occasionally) Drake. For those third person moments all their text will be italicized and have the characters name in Bold at the start. There may be other characters I write for using this.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Alexander
He turned the corner sharply and saw her pitiful attempt to run. His eagerness to chase sent his body in pursuit. A heavy mixture of hunger and a pinch of irritation.
The distance between him and his prey decreased. Lynette couldn't stop to hide in any of the doors lining the hallway. If she did, he'd get her. Not that she'd reach the one at the end. His hand was so close to touching her.
Then the door to their right flung open. Alexander's body went on the defensive. He couldn't pull her back or push her further. He jumped back and avoided the bellow of flames. They dissipated quickly, as the user wanted, and Lynette had slipped away.
Alexander expected it to be her brother, but every nerve in his body flexed. The putrid hatred filled him once he locked onto the bloodied male who entered the gray hall.
Not from his own wounds, Alexander, though he disliked blood, clearly recognized that scent.
"So close," Andras turned to fully face him. And flashed his sardonically thwarted smile. "Do you mind standing still this time, short fuse."
...
He growled out, almost in sync with his own stomach. He uncrossed his arms and annoying looked down at his own empty abdomen. I should have gone to bed after eating and not let them go. He got up, tracing over the darkness before taking his phone from his sweatpants pocket.
The screen blinded him temporarily, then he glared at the time. It was three in the morning. He slipped it back into his pocket and took a few steps near the vanity. He stopped and looked at the makeshift bed on the floor with the man sleeping on it.
Fucker. I told you to sleep on the bed.
Alexander stood over him, crouched down, then scooped him up without much effort.
"Ah-he-" Petes panicked. Alexander walked him to the bed. Though around a similar height, he carried his dad as efficiently as a mom would a kid, "HEY!" Alexander threw the grown man onto the bed and turned around. "Alex!"
"I told you to sleep on the bed," the glasses-clad male replied with aggravation.
"And I told you to sleep on the bed, Alex!" Pete's said. Alexander glanced back to see his dad swing his legs to hang off the bed.
"Hell no," Alexander said. "I like the armchair." He turned to face forward again. He walked ahead and grabbed the rental car keys. "I'm going out to get food."
"It's late-" Petes pushed off the bed.
"I'm starving. It's either I eat something now or..." His stomach whined. There's a worthwhile meal here that I can't even have.
"I'll make you something,"
Alexander held up his hand to stop his dad, "no, I want to feel somewhat satisfied." He felt his dad near him, and the hand reached out. He flipped around and pointed to the bed. "Don't worry about me. Get some sleep."
The sympathetic eyes stung. Alexander didn't let himself say another word. He pulled his attention and went out the door, no longer listening to what Pete's said next.
He realized he didn't even have glasses when entering the hall. He wouldn't go back in the room and look stupid, either. He gripped the keys and went to the door next to theirs and across from the staircase.
He stood before it and called, as he didn't want to knock.
"Argh, what?" Drake's sleep tone questioned.
"Come outside your room, now."
"You better have a damn good reason," Drake grumbled, hanging up. Alexander could hear the rustling beyond it. The door opened, and before he could answer, his best friend did.
"For the last time, I'm not switching rooms with you."
"We're going out for breakfast; you're driving." He tossed up the keys, and Drake fumbled but caught them.
"Oh, going out? Can you get me some magus blood while you're out?" Wenna hummed from the bed.
Drake walked out with the keys and shut the door. They could both hear her whine from beyond it.
"I already had my fill yesterday," Drake muttered behind Alexander, who moved to the stairs.
"I didn't."
"Of course, you didn't." Drake sassed, adjusting his hoodie.
...
Drake
He descended the stairs behind Alexander. I finally fell asleep, and you had to wake me up. He played with the keys in one hand, abruptly stopping as the physically imposing male did. He knew what floor they hit.
He moved around him and remarked, "Her brother will eradicate you if you try."
Alexander grunted, "yeah, yeah...it's not like I would, anyway."
I'm inclined to doubt you. Drake thought to himself. They made it down, walking along in the dark. Drake took a moment to appreciate the calmness of the night. Or he would have if he also wasn't tuned in to Alexander's hunger.
"I swear you ate earlier."
"I did," Alexander grumbled.
"Does Lynette get to you that much?" They walked down to the garage and to the car.
Alexander got to the passenger side and awaited Drake to open it. He glared at him from over the car roof. "You know the answer, asshole."
He unlocked the car for Alexander and himself. He buckled his seatbelt.
The blonde-haired male said, "it was also due to that stupid dream; it got me riled up and pissed."
Drake kept his eyes on the road as they drove down the driveway, yet his ears listened. "Was it just a dream about eating Lynette?" Now I feel less wrong about that biting one.
"Yeah." His friend rested back.
Drake heard the trembles, "besides the sound of your heartbeat, you know you're a terrible liar, right?"
"You and your fucking weird habit." He tapped on his own ear, "wear earplugs around me or something." Alexander covered his chest as if that would stop it.
He sounds embarrassed now, and he doesn't want to tell me. If Lynette was the problem, he would have complained by now.
"Did you have a dream with me?"
Alexander shivered, and Drake realized how that sounded aloud too.
Please say no.
"For fuck's sake, never say it like that again." Even though it both irked them, it was still funny enough to make Drake smile and Alexader. You were the one joking about the plus one on the way here.
Then his mind returned to the question, "that's not a no."
"I was chasing the shrimp down this long hallway, and I got so close to catching her, but..." Drake listened to the hard pounding coming from Alexander's chest. "Then, one of the doors in the hall opened. Someone attacked me, and I thought it would be Wicks or some shit. But it was fucking Andras." The name left between gritted teeth.
The vampire beast fell silent. His hands trembled as he held the steering wheel, and he found it hard to focus on the road. "I'll handle it next time."
Alexander turned his head immediately and shifted to face Drake. He yanked his seatbelt too fast, and it clicked. His hands slammed on the middle compartment.
"LIKE HELL I'D LET YOU HANDLE THAT PUNK ASS-"
"I don't need your protection, Chase." Drake cut in. He felt his foot twitch on the pedal and pressed further.
Alexander pointed to the speed-o-meter, "slow down, fucker, AND it's not even about protection."
You're a liar. You and everyone else. Don't sit here and act like you don't think I'm weak. Drake thought to himself as he took his foot off the pedal entirely. It let the car roll as they went through the quiet town, with every light being green.
"The C.P.P.A. are already involved and looking for him anyway. They'll probably have a better chance at catching that lucky bastard than us." Alexander said as he rested back. He undid his seatbelt, given its numerous clicks and given that it locked. The car started to beep at his being unbuckled when the vehicle was moving. "I know it's unbuckled, fucker," he said to it.
Drake rolled his eyes, "like they'd care that much." I should be the one to handle it.
"HE'S A FUCKIN' BLACK MARKET SELLER. OF COURSE, THEY WILL." Alexander yelled. He threw his hand out and gripped Drake's hoodie at his right shoulder. "Don't you dare try to find and take him on like an idiot!"
He slammed the brakes on the car immediately. It jerked Alexander forward and himself. Drake didn't look at Alexander and slowly drifted toward the turn lane to do a U-turn. "We passed the store."
And for the rest of that night, Drake no longer talked to Alexander about the subject.
...
Lynette
It's so different. I thought to myself. My eyes traced the telephone wires. My brain refused to put everything together, but it made sense. Why they brought so few people home to meet me, why Wicks and I went to different schools, and why Charletta never went to school with us.
They always acted carefully, watchfully, and quickly denied any sort of magic or monster talk when I was younger. I started to wonder if that's why we moved so much. I couldn't work up the courage to ask.
I love them all so much. I didn't, nor could I ever hate them. I softly listened ahead to Madre and Padre in the front seat, then Charletta and Ulysses in the middle, in front of us. I didn't get to talk much to him, yet he seemed split between Drake's calm, soft-spoken nature and Wenna's bombastic hype. I could tell they were siblings.
And no matter how much I wanted to distrust Ulysses, the pure joy on Charletta's face when she was near him made me smile for her. Especially when I saw him give her that same look.
"Lyn," Madre called from up front. I perked up and looked ahead, I just realized we stopped. "Si en algún momento te sientes incómoda, te llevaremos a otro lugar." Madre smiled at me and waited for confirmation.
It took a second. Wicks was about to help me. I beat him to it, "thank you. I'll tell you, guys."
"You better," Padre said with a gentle smirk. "or I'll put raisins in your pancakes tomorrow."
Madre pressed at his arm. "Stefan."
Padre laughed as he opened his car door. Everyone followed suit and piled out. Wicks led me from behind. I went out of Ulysses' side. I didn't realize I had almost bumped into him. He gave me a small smile when I peered up from his black dress coat. It was friendly and warm.
"Sorry." I apologized.
Wicks pushed me ahead before he properly replied as the others parked next to us.
I studied the large building. It looked to be a similar size as the Pizzeria. "Olden Country Eatery," the sign with a string of lights read.
Wenna came up next to us happily. "No need to sound so nervous, Lynette. I've been to one of these before. They are SO cool, they have tons of food, different types for all kinds of species."
Wicks threw his arm over my shoulder and pulled me closer to himself than to Wenna.
"Thanks, Wenna." That's not exactly what I'm worried about. I am going to one of these places with my family. What if something happens to them. I didn't care whether they were magic or not. I was still worried.
The fanged gal leaned near me even as Wicks held me, "and hey, don't worry, my younger brother drinks from humans, not me." She gave a proud grin after saying that.
Wicks still refused to let go.
...
Wicks
He looked over at his sister while she tried to make some choices. At least most monsters didn't seem to care or pay attention to them. I know they are trying to make Lynette feel included, but why are we taking her here. Wicks sighed. He knew they didn't live here anymore, so none of these individuals would pose a problem to her. Yet, he couldn't shake that feeling. Especially knowing...
The first night they fought. He still wanted to yell at Lynette. She was basically a giver, and the thought gave him chills. He understood it's what monsters did. Some enjoyed it, BUT HIS SISTER. His hazel hue found Drake near Ulysses, Wenna, and his sister.
I suspect he's not as much of a problem, though he's definitely attacked her. Then he went to glance back at the table.
Lynette broke his thoughts, "they have DINO NUGGIES!"
The innocence of it made him smile. It was the most he had seen Lynette smile since the reveal. Even if it faded quickly, he felt relieved to see her do it. He didn't know for how long.
"You are freaking out about the dino nuggies," He motioned next to them, "what about these bad boys."
They were in the kids' section as these foods had less energy. He didn't think her body would react badly to it, but it might overwhelm her.
"They're little snakes!" She exclaimed. She got a few on her plate too. Wicks did the same. "Why don't we have fry snakes at normal restaurants?"
Wicks chuckled, "I think most people don't like snakes."
"They're kinda cute, at least the small ones like garter snakes. Big ones are terrifying..." She paused, then looked at the snakes on her plate. "oh..."
"What?" Wicks asked with a slight worry. "Do you work with a Naga too?"
"I work with a half-naga half-mimic, Dragon and Fae too." She said, getting some mashed potatoes and greens on her plate too.
What? I shouldn't be surprised, but those are SO DANGEROUS. He felt like he was about to have a breakdown. How could I not have paid enough attention? We didn't have many monsters in our area. There's only a few establishments nearby for them. AND- He wanted to shake Lynette. He clutched his plate instead. YOU SOMEHOW FOUND AND WORK AT ONE OF THEM!! L.Y.N.E.T.T.E.!!
Wick's bore down on the dino nuggies as if they were the true enemy. You could have quit. I ran through the establishment, and it's under C.P.P.A. registration and regulation. She also isn't there against her will. She could just leave. SHE SHOULD JUST LEAVE. He couldn't get over that, and his sister decided to subject herself to that for money. Sure, the amount she would set her up for life. YOU FORGET YOU'RE POWERLESS.
"Wicks!" Lynette pressed on his shoulder gently. The furrow of her brows and the concern of her eyes drew him from thought.
He found it hard to smile back at her because of his frustration. You're too fragile too. He still gave her reassurance back. "Sorry, Lentils, I was thinking of that one time I unscrewed the cap, and you tried to add ketchup to your plate, then when you squeezed it, you drowned all your dinos." He laughed after explaining it. Genuinely.
Her eyes went to stunned jokey shock then he saw the slight puff at her cheeks, "you're a punk! Thanks for reminding me that I'll be the first to use it this time!"
He snickered, "not if I get it first.~"
She pointed to her plate, "unlike you, I'm already done."
Wicks shook his head, "hey, mom said you're sticking to me, so you ain't leavin' without me." He teased as he went to grab a few more things. He understood why his dad was laxed, and Wicks knew his mom was as worried as he was. She just hid it well. While Charletta trusted them wholeheartedly.
Things aren't so lovely on the monster side, dad. He thought in his head. And at the same time, he couldn't push it. He couldn't imagine being in his father's shoes.
They were the first to return to the table, and Wicks groaned internally. The major problem. He thought to himself. Alexander was sitting there alone. He did glance up from his phone when he saw them approach.
He could feel Lynette's slight uneasy sitting down across from Alexander, so Wicks made sure he moved closer. Lynette started to get her ketchup bottle at the table ready.
Wicks didn't start eating. He loathed that Alexander's eyes lingered on Lynette far too long. If I ever get a moment alone with you, just two minutes...
"What?" Alexander asked as he put his phone down with a huff. He stared directly at Wicks. He lacked fear.
Wicks smirked, "you were the one who invited Lentils to the job, right?"
"Lentils, the bean?" Alexander saw the gesture Wicks made and realized he was talking about Lynette.
Wicks sighed. He pressed some loose strands from his messy ponytail back, "yes or no, human eater."
"Yes." Alexander answered, "Why are you saying that like it's a fucking problem."
Lynette chimed in, "it is."
Alexander snapped to her.
SAY IT. GO AHEAD. TELL HER SOMETHING. Wicks begged in his head. Lynette looked away, and he didn't say anything.
"You-" He looked at the buffet bar and grumbled inaudibly under his breath.
"Registration number," Wicks said to the half wendigo.
Alexander's shoulders lifted up. He then exhaled, "JX934."
Wicks pulled out his phone and pulled up his messaging app.
Wicks: Can you send me the registration record of JX934? Thank you. 8:54 p.m.
Garter: Roger that, Boss!👌8:54p.m.
I'm not your boss. Wicks hated when Garter did that.
"What are you doing?" He heard Alexander and decided to ignore him. Lynette tapped on him to tell him.
"If you have nothing to hide, there's no issue," Wicks said sinuously.
Alexander looked away. Wicks could see the anxious annoyance. "I don't understand why you're going through all this trouble."
The side of wicks lips curled, and he scoffed, "I've seen the way you look at humans," he glanced over at the buffet. They still were there waiting for specialty orders. "Look at my SISTER. There's no way you're not a danger."
Lynette touched Wicks's arm, "I don't really want to hear this right now."
Alexander's voice overtook her own. "You are much more of a danger than me, jackass." He pressed up his glasses, staring back.
Wicks chuckled, "yeah, but unlike you, I care for humans."
"Like I don't care."
"You seem like you care more about your stomach than understanding anything about them."
"Fuck off," Alexander pressed his finger at his chest, "don't act all high and mighty over me. I'm nice to humans."
Lynette muttered, "nice?"
"Alright, I don't know anything about you." Wicks patted Lynette's head. "So prove it to me because I doubt you can tell me one thing about her that isn't her energy."
Alexander stood up, "I know things about her."
"Then name ONE thing if you can't..." His phone pinged, but he didn't look at it. "I'll suspend your registration." It was a bluff. He couldn't. However, Wicks wanted to see if he could get Alexander to play along. Hopefully, this'll knock some sense into you, Lynette. Wendigo's are especially dangerous when you're the species they eat.
Alexander kept his eyes on Wicks. He could feel the anger in his stormy blue eyes. Wicks so hoped he'd strike first.
"Wicks, just drop it," Lynette said to him.
Wicks expected Alexander to give up after she said that. Wicks saw he struggled, and Lynette gave him a way out.
The burly blonde refused to take it, "I recently found out Lynette's a girl-!" He cut off his own declaration, realizing how stupid it sounded. At least, that's what Wicks first assumed until he saw Lynette's quick gesture to cover her chest and the red blush on her cheeks.
Wicks stood up immediately, his eyes burst with light, and Alexander went on the defensive. "AND HOW DID YOU FIND-"
He stopped as Lynette wrapped her arms around him in a hug, "WICKS, we're in public, and it wasn't his fault; really, it was an accident. Please sit down." She whimpered.
...
@vore-toast Well well well, look at that. xD Your ramblings weren't for nothing! You guessed correct, I did add that snippet with the other from the C.P.P.A. just because I planned on it being the big reveal with Wicks later. THANK YOU FOR THE THEORY! <3

MERMAY DAY 4: Healer
Link to the main story where these dofus's are from, Widfali. AND if you want to join to, here's the prompt I'm using, Ta-daa!
Previous Part Next Part
Master-Post
Fun fact: Wicks much like Lynette is part of the M.M.L.P.S (Magic Marine Life Protection Squad). They are individuals that work on keeping the peace between the seas, discover new creatures, as well as protecting individuals that end up involved with the magic marine life or keeping the marine life itself protected. Wicks and Lynette are part of different branches though, Lynette is on the research and studies, while Wicks is on peace/protection branch. Generally your branch is chosen based on the relationship you have with your "little buddy"/symbiotic magic marine critter. Wicks's buddy, named Garter, increases his reaction speed, allows him to read emotions, and enhances his physical prowess immensely.
(And yes, Lynette and Wicks are brother and sister in this AU too!)
Also the framed photo in panel one below, because I kinda drew it well. xD
HAVE A BOMBASTIC DAY!! (Nonnegotiable)

Spoilers~
Drake looked over at Alexander, who held his head down in shame. He hated to admit it, but Drake received some satisfaction from his best friend's current misery. It was rare that Alexander was ever knocked down a peg. You're such an idiot, dude.
YES YES YES
"Alexander, don't call your coworker a meal. She seems nice." Pete's reminded him with secondhand embarrassment.
Petes once again an MVP. Man, I sure wish he rubbed off more on his son. Also, poor guy, he created this monster and now he's gotta deal with it lol
Day 47 - Precipitation Shaft (Nov. 7th, Monday) Part 2
Contents (Warnings): More small little difficulties (Angsty, vore mentions, soft suicide attempt mention, and character/monster info). Read full chapter on - A03
Wordcount: 3,300+ (ey yo part 2!)
Side note: This will contain experimental writing; first person (Lynette's view) will be implemented alongside third person for the two other essential characters, (mostly) Alexander and (occasionally) Drake. All their text will be italicized for those third-person moments, with the characters' names in Bold at the start and their thoughts in Bold. There may be other characters I write for using this.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I pressed into him tightly and squeezed as hard as I could. I felt like he could and would drag me with him. He "calmed." I think it was primarily due to the others coming back.
We all sat down; Alexander sat across from me with Drake and Ulysses on either side of him, while I sat with Wicks on my right and my mom on my right. The heads of the table were Padre and Edgar.
From the corner of my eye, I saw Wicks wouldn't stop staring at Alexander even as the conversations started. Wicks didn't care for the context of the dumb thing he said.
"Lyn, do you want to try some?" Madre offered beside me. She held up a giant margarita glass with a light green glowing slushie inside it. She stirred it around with her straw and turned it to me.
Charletta hummed across the table beside Padre, "it's sooo good!~ Try some Lynette," She tapped on the glass and smiled, "it's nonalcoholic!~"
"It might be a little strong," Padre commented.
"Ella sólo está bebiendo un sorbo," Marde said.
Is it going to kill me? I waited for Padre to argue further or Wicks, but neither did, "okay." I leaned forward to get the straw. I took a small sip and pulled back, "oh, that's so good. It's pineapple cherry!?" Why is it green? I asked in my head.
"I'll get you one," Padre said, getting up.
"Wait-" I chased after him once he did. I glanced down at his robotic leg on his left side. Before he locked it in, I remember he used to take it off at the dinner table and stumble out of the chair without it. Now that I think about it, I've never seen him fall over.
Padre purposefully slowed down his usual quick pace. "You don't have to come along, Lyn." He said through a relieved smirk.
"And you don't have to get me a drink! You just sat down to eat. I have water." I told him. The side of the buffet we were at was specifically marked "energy substitutes" and contained various kinds, those that looked normal, like sandwiches, burgers, fries, etc, and some that I didn't; they seemed fairly interesting or disgusting. I wanted to try the one that appeared like little apple slice ducks, except purple, with peach fuzz. I kept that to myself.
"Now we're both not eating," he teased. We walked to the counter between a few dishes with the sign, specialty drinks. There was a giant list of items behind the girl at the counter. I couldn't read any of it.
Padre ordered the same as Madre's, except he asked for a lighter version. After, we were given our receipt and waited nearby.
"Scary?"
My eyes stroked over the other individuals inside this giant building. At least everyone in the building looked human. I supposed they remained in their cases. However, for some reason, the light felt like a moodier blue, making the atmosphere very dark or worrying.
"A-A little. You'd think I'd be used to it by now." I said. I turned my head to peer up at Padre. His hardened eyes stared back, a touch of kindness hidden in their near-gray shade. "I'm worried for you guys."
He raised a brow, and his eyes rested. He looked in the direction of our large table near the back corner. "We're a lot tougher than we look, Lyn." He released a heavy sigh, "Including myself. You're the one we should be worrying about." He ruffled my hair, and I pulled my head away.
I chuckled dryly. Me? I'm fine. I said in my head, and a question I didn't want to ask came out. "Did you all move a lot because of me?"
The deep, tender tone reached out to me. "Lyn," he pursed his lips, then continued, "it took a while for you to become as you are. The differences in your energy happened very slowly. It only spiked exponentially when that core festered." He explained and took another breath. "Imagine our surprise when we expected your body to fully change, which never did."
You guys don't feel any different. "What do you mean change?"
He held such care, "I've never seen a human change with exposure to magic beings," he admitted. "I've only seen someone born of two magus's or who went to Yexodele. So maybe our excess helped you develop that core, which needed more to fully develop."
What is he talking about? Core, fully develop? Huh...
"Wicks hasn't talked to you about anything, has he?"
"Not really..." I replied. I haven't really talked to anyone...and I miss it.
My drink was ready, he let me pick it up with both hands, and he walked me back to his table. His messy man-bun nearly coming undone. "why don't you help me make breakfast tomorrow, and I'll catch you up?" He asked.
"That sounds nice." I fought through my nervousness talking to Padre. It was odd. He looked stern and unforgiving, yet he had such an ease to his tone that I felt he'd protect me from the world. It had such a similar warmth to Wicks.
...
Alexander
He's so annoying. Alexander thought. Why does it matter if I know things about her? We just work together.
He heard his name sung from across the table.
"¿No estás comiendo, Alexander?" Lynette's adopted mom asked.
He gave a half smile. I heard a no, and Alexander?
Wicks gave an eye roll. His voice sounded to insult him, "Alexander solo come humanos."
What did he just tell her? Is humanos, humans? That fucker-
Ulysses spoke, "Alexander's body's a little different than most magus's because of his wendigo half, so it's hard for him to eat a lot of normal food."
Charletta called to him over Ulysses, "do you speak Spanish, Alexander?"
He shook his head, "no."
"Oh, sorry." Their mom gave him a warm smile. "do you have energy in your drink, at least?"
"yeah..." He still could feel Wicks' glued gaze. He looked down at his drink. Energy's not my problem right now. He disliked the feeling in his midsection. It's the fact that I feel empty after drinking this.
"You could have gotten blood." Her mom pointed out.
"He hates blood," Drake commented, drinking some himself.
"Oh, you sound very special."
Is that an insult? He didn't know what to take from it.
"He is such a sweetheart too." He heard Drake's mom, Danee, from next to Edgar. He stiffened at her declaration. "he's always been there for Drake." She hummed out, "and gosh, does Drake need it."
Alexander glanced over at Drake. He squeezed his blood packet tightly. Now's not the time, Danee.
"Sweetheart is a STRETCH."
Marsol pulled at Wicks ear and spoke with a huff, "Wicks, ese es tu cuñado sé amable con él."
"aii," Wicks said aloud before she let go. After he rubbed it and sighed, "Lo siento, mamá." Wicks picked up the ketchup for his nuggies.
The half wendigo's eyes caught Lynette nearing. No. He pushed himself to look away and noticed his dad's heavy stare on Lynette's padre. I haven't seen them talk, why does dad look bothered by him?
"Wicks, how is the C.P.P.A. on new applicants?" Edgar said aloud, he pressed his hair back and behind his pointed ear, "Wenna's been very interested in submitting one." His question broke Pete's concentration. Alexander's dad saw he stared, and Alexander stared down at his drink instead. He tipped it back.
Wenna bounced in her seat, "dad, I told you not to mention it...but since you did!" She leaned over on the table and looked across at Wicks. "How much is the pay? How skilled do you have to be? Is there an age requirement per species? Are there certain species that can't join? How much training do you get on the job-"
The burst of questions didn't stop. Wicks first had a slight smile that slowly dropped as the questions continued. Lynette looked as perplexed as everyone at the table did.
"Wenna-" Danee called. Wenna's excitement drowned out her mother.
She persisted, and Wicks flipped the ketchup bottle upside down and squeezed. The cap plopped onto the plate, and ketchup erupted over his dinner.
"Ha!" Lynette squeaked before closing her mouth and holding her giggles.
Wicks turned to her; there wasn't a hint of anger on his face. "How dare you, Lentils! You'll rue the day."
She giggled some more. I have expected her to cower. Alexander said in his head, a slight relief lifted from him as Wicks gave him a break from the cold stare.
"Lynette!" Her mom exclaimed.
"I DID IT BEFORE HE DID IT TO ME THIS TIME!"
Lynette's mom used reversal magic to fix it, and to Alexander's surprise, Wicks answered most of Wenna's questions.
...
Drake
"What happened?" He questioned Alexander once they got back in the van.
Alexander didn't respond.
Wenna peered back at them, "you said something stupid to Wicks, didn't you? He looked like he wanted to kill you the WHOLE time."
Alexander grumbled, "shut up."
"Alex!" Pete's said from the seat beside Wenna.
Alexander gave a low growl and sighed, "keep your mouth shut, Wenna."
Pete's glared back at his son, "ALEXANDER."
"I didn't cuss!"
Edgar and Wenna laughed.
"Alexander, you know Wenna's not gonna stop pestering you until you share it, dear.~" Danee cooed. You're as nosy as Wenna. Drake thought, not that he didn't get it from them.
Alexander groaned, "you all-" he glanced slightly at his dad, then continued. "Wicks said some stupid stuff about me not being nice to humans."
Drake threw his hand to his mouth and turned his head away. He poorly held back his laugh. "You-ha-don-haha-don't say."
Wenna chuckled at him too, but not as heavily as Drake.
"YOU have NO right to laugh at me, asshole!"
"ALEX."
Drake continued to laugh, and he imagined how the conversation went down. "W-what did you say in response?" Drake didn't have to look at Alexander. He heard the embarrassment.
"Yeah, you said something stupid."
Alexander gestured to Wenna and yelled to his dad, "YOU let her get away with saying I'm stupid, but I tell her to shut up, and I'M THE BAD GUY?"
Pete's looked at the two of them. "No more stupid, shut-ups, or anything from either of you, okay?"
They both agreed. Drake noticed Alexander's childish crossed fingers behind his back, and given that Wenna sat up in her seat, he suspected the same.
Pete's continued, "what did you tell him, Alexander? You know why he's worried. Lynette's his little sister, and you're not exactly..." His dad paused.
Alexander grumbled under his breath. "you're all assholes." And he shut his eyes, confessing to his "crimes" "Wicks asked me to name off one thing I knew about Lynette."
It can't be that idiotic, then. You know Lynette plays video games.
There was a slight hesitation from his best friend, "I thought if I said she plays video games, he'd ask me specific ones, and I didn't know any she's working on currently, so-" his voice sounded gentler when he was flustered. "I told him what I recently found out about her."
It took Drake a few seconds, and he howled from his seat, "DID YOU SERIOUSLY-!AHH-HA!" He turned to his friend, "YOU'RE SO STUPID!"
Alexander grabbed Drake's fine winter coat collar. Drake didn't care. Edgar's voice stopped Alexanders' insults from flooding out.
"What did you find out about Lynette?!" A moderately worried curiosity fell from his tone.
Alexander shook Drake, "forget it!"
"OH!" Danee popped in and clapped her hands together. "Congratulations, sweetie!" She paused and tapped her chin, "Isn't there a rule against not doing anything with your coworkers?"
"WHAT?!" Alexander shouted.
The car burst with life. Everyone either shouted at Alexander or Danee.
"SHE'S A FUCKING MEAL. WHY WOULD I F-" Alexander wanted to bash his head into something. Alexander knew if he did, he'd break what he did it to. Drake got a great look at his tomato-red expression. The boy with bangs over his eyes hadn't laughed this hard in a long time.
"Alexander, don't call your coworker a meal. She seems nice." Pete's reminded him with secondhand embarrassment.
"Wicks is going to kiiiillll you.~" Wenna hummed with her snickers.
Edgar tried to hold a serious demeanor, but the innocence of his wife's celebratory cheer made him smile.
Drake looked over at Alexander, who held his head down in shame. He hated to admit it, but Drake received some satisfaction from his best friend's current misery. It was rare that Alexander was ever knocked down a peg. You're such an idiot, dude.
...
Wicks
"They're dangerous, Lynette. He couldn't even say one thing about you." Wicks groaned as he laid on his side of the pillow wall. Lynette had the side by the wall in case she slept walked. Then she'd have to climb over Wicks.
"I know. I didn't expect him to. Alexander and I haven't exactly carried many conversations." She grumbled, throwing a sheet over herself.
"I'm still mad you never told me."
"And you never told me."
"You know Mom said not to," Wicks replied. It's not like I didn't want to tell you. I simply couldn't argue with her...
The sour memory entered his head. It would enter his mind when he saw Lynette's face when upset.
He could never forget the violent shake of her body in his grasp. Nor the sounds of the waves below the cliff striking the sharp rocks at the bottom.
"Would it have been better for them if I was never born?"
He shifted to face Lynette, almost like she had repeated those words now. He met the pillow wall, his sister beyond it.
Her voice reached him, "I couldn't tell any human outside of work that didn't know about magic!" She declared. "I had no idea you guys were magus's. Other than that...I would have told you."
It still surprised him that she stayed there. He knew how scared Lynette could be. Though her newfound resolve was something he admired too.
"You sounded like you didn't want to."
"You almost attacked Xander," Lynette muttered. She lifted her head up over the pillow wall. Her grassy meadow green eyes squinted at him.
"I assumed he did something unsavory to you. What do you expect?" It will not stop me from killing him next time we're alone. I bet he tries to eat you constantly.
Lynette sighed and plopped back down, knocking one of the pillows onto Wick's face. He laid with it there, a smile on his face from the slight comedy of it.
"Why would you assume something like that! You know I've never even been on a proper date!" Lynette squeaked.
He eventually pushed the pillow back into place. "YOU DIDN'T COME HOME FOR A DAY OR TWO BEFORE! THEN WITH HIS COMMENT!? WHAT AM I LEFT TO ASSUME..." Wicks threw his body up. He didn't even think about the pillow wall. "Why were you gone? We all reviewed the contract with Edgar...did any of them EAT YOU OUTSIDE OF WORK WITHOUT CONSENT!?"
She was covered in fluff. She pushed them away and spoke. "N-no!" She cried. "I-made a deal with one of them for that, and the other time I was really small, I couldn't go-"
"S-SMALL! LENTILS!!" Wicks picked her up, "What the heck has been happening at that pizzeria!? Someone shrank you down? WHO? What's their name?! Was it Alexander?!" Wicks let her go, and he leaped from the bed. Sorry Charletta, I'm killing him.
"NO!" Lynette crawled forward and panicked and fell off the bed. She hit the ground nearly face-first and whimpered.
Wicks went to her immediately and knelt down, "Lentils."
"It wasn't him-he helped watch me one of the days," Lynette replied. She rubbed her forehead for a second. Then her eyes flicked with fear. She remembered something.
"What's wrong?" Wicks asked.
"N-nothing," she said.
He helped her off the floor, "don't nothing me. You look worried. What did he do to you?"
"It's not about him, it- I'm not going to pretend I enjoy him, I don't, but I don't hate him enough for you to fight him. I don't hate any of them enough for that." Lynette said as she climbed back on the bed, "especially not now. Charletta seems to be happy with Ulysses, and Drake isn't bad. He's one of my nicest coworkers on the night crew with me."
Maybe I should search his registration too. It occurred to Wicks he never even looked at the information Garter sent him. He picked up his phone from the nightstand once they got the pillow wall up once more.
"One of the nicest doesn't say much," Wicks muttered.
"Wicks," he heard her grumble from beyond. "I'm too tired to argue."
She got ready for bed.
"Fine then, I love you, Lentils."
"Love you too, Wicks. Goodnight."
He turned out the light at the nightstand. Darkness filled the room quickly. Wicks pressed his phone to his chest.
I'm sorry, Lentils. I should have been more attentive. There was such a complicated array of feelings rushing through his head. He didn't hate monsters by any means, but he did when Lynette was around them. He hated to imagine her eaten by them. It's not something he cared about with anyone else besides his family. I should have pried. I should have pushed you more. He stared at the ceiling.
I can't imagine how terrifying that jerk made it for you. Wicks lifted up his phone and opened his messages.
Garter: Information sent. If you need anything else, boss, give me a ring! 8:52 p.m.
Wicks: Thank you, Garter, and you don't gotta call me boss! 11:34 p.m.
Garter would keep calling him that. Wicks didn't think he deserved it for being a rank higher.
His eyes scanned the file, reading over the information they had on Alexander. It's legal and real. Wicks noticed Alexander even notified them of the area change. He's at least diligent, I guess...
Wicks skimmed over the other recent activity, right he's partially involved in the Andras case. Such a slippery magus. Wicks read a bit more information on it. Wicks didn't see any big issues for a while besides that and...
He shot up and gasped. His glowing hue focused on Lynette.
Wicks's chest, specifically his heart, felt squeezed by his fear.
He scrambled to grab her and stopped. He read over the notes of the incident.
'Lynette Wayland request: Memory left intact.'
That's-is this the stalker? Were they a monster? He wanted to wake her up. How much have I really been missing? He asked himself.
His head throbbed with worse scenarios even though she lay next to him. He wanted her to spill everything. He wanted it all now. He didn't want her to ever leave his side again. She was in so much danger.
That wendigo... Wicks hated him. His opinion wouldn't be swayed, however...If he ever hurts you, I'll kill him.
He couldn't stop himself. "LYNETTE!"
She woke up with fright. He couldn't go to bed, and neither would she. He needed to know everything. The desperation ate at him. He didn't know what his mom and dad would think if they found out about the stalking incident. I'm a failure at protecting her. He couldn't even smile anymore. Not that I didn't know that already.
...

This has been a terrible week. May I get a dose of widfali, please?
I GOT YOU.
Give me a hot minute but I'll throw down my brewing content today just for you, maybe even two things if I can get them both edited.❤️
In the meantime, I will throw down some WIPS I never finished nor know if I will. xD
(HEIGHTS are obviously adjusted to be all the same height because Lev and Zilla would not be around the same age range of them given the way they age/WOULD be huge compared to all of them. They are all roughly 6ish). Lynette - A little bombastic bean, she'd definitely be the leader or try to be. She was very adventurous as a kid, getting herself into trouble. I also don't think much can be seen here but she does wear braces. Wicks - He was always very nervous around new people and would cling to his closest "life boat". Which Lynette didn't mind, it made her feel even more heroic. Alexander - When he was younger, he was a people pleaser, trying to get people to like him. And right in the picture he's trying to copy Lynette's pose to look as cool as her. Lev - He's thinking how he can make all these unique "friends" part of his collection. He was fairly calm when he was little, however he didn't share well. Claudia - Because of her upbringing, she's very dead looking. The only thought going on in her head in this picture is how Drake's about to die due to natural selection. Zilla - Similar to Wicks, very panicky when she was small. She also lacked control over her tails actions, so it would eat things without her knowing sometimes or try to take control and head in directions opposite of what she wanted. Drake - He wasn't much of a nerd yet. However, he used to think seeing different monsters was so cool because a majority of the time, he only saw his family. So anything different was awesome. Also why anime caught his interest later.
Then, everyone having a good time in karaoke. Side note, Drake is not wearing headphones because they sound bad but it's for his sensitive hearing. Lynette and Zilla are in the center, while Claudia is cheering, Lev is recording, Drake is jamming, and Alexander is also supposed to be doing a part of the song but he's nervous as h*ll.
THANK you so much for this though, I hope I can cheer you up, at least a smidgeon, and sincerely, have a Greato rest of your day. (Non-negotiable).

OMG!!!!! Just finished the 3rd arc of WIDFALI and... just WOW!!! I can't even begin to express how epic it was. It was literally perfect and I wouldn't want a single thing changed. 😍😍😍😍😍
That being said..... SPOILERS!!!!!!......
I am left wondering what would've happened if Alexander hadn't gone to help Wicks, besides the obvious. (Sorry Wicks, I love ya man.) What would have been Andrea's next move?
Andras after being detained, wearing a "magic binder".
Spoilers for this Chapter of Widfali below!
After successfully devouring Wicks, he would be able to pose as him completely, without fail. Andras would then get himself to the basement, call Garter in, and head to the explosive he's planted down there. They didn't go off or anything in the story because they weren't messed with and were buried with the partial building collapse. Andras would change himself to be Wicks before Garter gets there, and then kill him.
Specifically because Garter is Wicks's close friend at the C.P.P.A., Wicks would never hurt him. AND two, Garter is an oni. Oni's third eyes, if trained well enough, are one of the only things that could see mimics, besides what Elliot is, a seer wolf. So he'd put an end to him, cloak up, and then blow up the basement.
Posing as Wicks, he'd go under the guise of saving a few of the "collection" pieces down there, so that's the other "reason" Wicks couldn't go after Andras when he "teleported away" as well as what happened to Garter.
Giant explosions, erosion over time, and etc, can dispel a magic signature. A magic signature is what lingers in areas after magic is used, it can be used to find the user. That's why Andras loaded the cars to explode once it was unlocked to see the scene at the mall. Alexander luckily realized it would make the cars explode after, so he had to decode the magic signature to find who made it. In this case Andras. (IF Alexander wasn't keen enough to catch it, they would not have been able to find Andras). Because the only other place he used magic was in the limo he had Osiris drive into the water. (So even if it's brought up by humans, no one is going to suspect magic was used in it if it's registered to a normal human).
Anyway, then as Wicks he'd claim Andras escaped and in front of everyone, not only make himself cry drowning in emotions while hugging into Lynette about Garter, but also shouting that he WILL be the one to end Andras.
His boss, Olivia, would put Wicks on a cool down as he would want to 'fight with her to find him'. A mourning period and vacation. They won't thoroughly investigate him because they'd feel and see his distress. And he'd play perfectly as Wicks, all his memories and such. The biggest win Andras has is that his secret stays safe. Even with their explanations of the events, odds are, the C.P.P.A. wouldn't consider a mimic as they are usually discovered quickly and after all these years, there has never been a report of such from Andras.
He wouldn't allow anyone to know his true identity, as not even his closest subordinates, Victoria and Terrance knew.
At some points he'd leave by himself, giving whatever excuses needed to Lynette and rebuild what he can. Though, Andras is fairly heartless. A literal psychopath. I'd imagine he'd have some kind of respect for losing two of his best, Terrance and Victoria.
His main goal from here, as he can only be Wicks for a month or so, would be to get Padre. Fun fact, Padre is easily the strongest in Widfali for one, and two it gives Andras plenty of possibilities with magic.
He'd use Wicks to get Padre when his guard is down or if he didn't feel confident doing so as Wicks. He'd end up consuming a terrified, unassuming Lynette and pretending like Wicks "didn't come home" one day after a mission. The C.P.P.A. would be looking for him not knowing he's been gone for a while.
He'd then use Lynette to get to Padre if he can. It'd be easier as Padre and Madre would be worried about their family. Especially Lynette being alone. They'd bring her in with them as she'd be upset about Wicks's loss.
He'd get Padre because of that, or get people to help him weaken Padre enough. those he'd hire would probably die in the process, and then Andras could take him down.
His hardest part of the whole plan would be, being Wicks. Involvement in a place where if they look hard enough they might find you is risky. Which is why he'd take as much leave as possible.
Overall, Andras probably won't stop what he did before. He'd keep going until the day he dies.
He'd find it annoying to start again from the bottom, and yet he'd hold no ill will toward Lynette, Drake, or Alexander.
I want to write a small thing about this as some point, after he gets detained and his answers to some questions.
Andras would still want Drake and to get him for his disobedience, but in Andras's head they just played the "game" better.
He always does things by a risk and reward basis. IF he has a high reward and low to medium risk, he'd take it. Occasionally he'd do things with high reward and high risks. For example, eating Wicks out in the "open" like that is a higher risk. Not too high as he would have won in the end getting Wicks with Osiris's mind manipulation, a tough one regardless.
So, if Alexander didn't go back: Wicks would have been devoured, Zetsu would have for sure died as he was still partially impaled, Lynette would probably have die too knowing at that point the brother she had been with for the past month wasn't even him, and then Padre.
Eventually he'd hunt Drake like before, continuing a never ending cycle.
...
I HOPE THIS ANSWERED YOUR QUESTION WELL ENOUGH! Thank you for it! I AM GLAD YOU ARE LIKING THE STORY SO FAR AND THAT YOU LIKED ONE OF MY FAVORITE ARCS TO WRITE UP TO DATE. One of my all time favorites though is going to be Arc 5, after this current one.

What I'd Do As My Enemies Wife (Widfali AU)
Chapter 1 - I'm Married To WHO?!?
Contents (Warnings): Getting caught in another universe (Shenanigans with Alexander and Lynette).
Wordcount: 2,700+
Side note: Thank you, @novorehere for being the menace that made me draw them going on a date and @aramastus for suggesting this AU idea in the first place! Love you guys! AGAIN, this is a goofy what if scenario. If you haven't read Widfali I'd recommend reading it first! That being said this is going to be much lighter and sweeter than what's been going on in the story thus far, hope you enjoy!
__________________________________________________
Lynette
I refused to remove my body from the warm, firm mattress underneath me, regardless of my slowly chilling, blanketless arms and legs.
My alarm hasn't rung yet.
I nuzzled further into the comforting heat. And in retaliation, the rest of me that didn't have contact with it burst with goosebumps. It disturbed my pleasant slumber.
I sat up, grumbled, and gathered my orientation. I was on a couch, not a bed. Oh, I fell asleep on Wicks again. I hope I didn't drool on him this time.
Groggily rubbing my eyes, I studied him. My body tensed when I saw the difference in structure. Their chest was more defined in their tight navy tank top, and their arms were adorned with muscles like cannon balls.
Most importantly, their skin wasn't the light olive my brother had either.
A yelp escaped my lips, and I panicked and scrambled back on the couch. Why is Alexander in my apartment? I didn't recognize the home I was in. Or am I in his...?!
He got up and groaned. His eyes opened, and he turned to me in confusion. "Why are you here?" Much like me, he looked over the couch and room.
The house looked neat and clean. A coffee table in front of us, as well as gaming systems and shelves of games along the undershelf below them. There was even a cat tower next to it, too.
"Is this not your new place?" I pointed to the cat tower. That wouldn't explain why I was here. Or...resting on him.
He stood up, inspecting the space and sniffing the air. "I thought this was your place, your scents everywhere." He then sniffed at his own clothes. "Why the hell do I smell like you?"
I'M NOT TELLING HIM THAT. "This isn't my place." I was also about to pull myself up, but out of nowhere, a figure appeared in front of me.
"Good, you're both awake!"
I squeaked out, and Alexander pushed himself between us. The floating girl walked backward as if the air was solid beneath her. Her navy blue hair fluttered and waved like she was underwater.
Alexander's eyes glowed when he faced her, "who are you?"
Their voice came out soft and sounded next to my ear. "Well, my name is a little hard to pronounce in English, but let's go with Ceram." The light sapphire blue being with horns whisked around the living room as she spoke, "I'm known as an observer of sorts. We are tasked with keeping the separation between universes."
"Between universes?" I muttered. Does this mean multiple universes exist?
"Yes and..." She cleared her throat, "Unfortunately for you, darlings, there was a recent teeny, itty, bitty issue with multiple beings from different universes switching places with their respective counterparts."
Alexander followed her movement. "Do you think we're stupid?"
She tilted her head and made an X with her fingers, "No, well, maybe sometimes, but not in this instance, no."
Alexander crossed his arms over his chest, "What do you mean sometimes?"
"You act like we've met before."
"We haven't." She held up a finger and grabbed a book that appeared out of thin air." I have read your files, though." Ceram slammed the book down on the coffee table, and she threw it open. When she did, a plethora of pages exploded from it. Alexander pushed back partially into me.
"Your lives are recorded in these bad boys in case of events like this."
Her smile twitched, and she shook her head. "Listen, you both are in a different universe. This one, you're both much older." She flew near Alexander and peeked back at me behind him. "Luckily, you guys haven't changed appearance-wise."
She closed the book, and all the pages that were sticking out and going off the table were sucked back in. Alexander inspected it, and her purple-eyed gaze fell on me.
"Thus, since you both have been sent to an alternate universe, you must act like your married counterparts."
"Married...I got married?!" I gasped. I haven't even gone on a proper date! I despised the memory of the only time I did go on a date and threw up on them. How did I get married?
Alexander's eyebrows furrowed, "to who?"
She looked at us, confused. Then pointed from Alexander to me.
Alexander's eyes met mine, and then, in unison, we both exclaimed and turned back to her. "WHAT!?"
WHY WOULD I EVER DATE XANDER!?! LET ALONE MARRY HIM! My stomach started to feel queasy thinking about it.
"What kind of sick joke is that? Why would I ever date a human?" Alexander protested with a perturbed growl.
Ceram threw her pink fingertips up, "Okay, okay. It's a long story in this universe." She spun the book on the table, and the cover and the title changed. "Here's the story as to how they got together-" The pages went all over the place again, and she stuffed them back inside. "How about I give you the last month of their activity? I'm sure you can piece it together from there."
I was in too much disbelief to say anything. Why Alexander?
He put his hand over the book, preventing her from reopening it. "Even if what you said was true, why do we have to play along? We need to go back to our universe."
"I'm working on it." She laid her hand on Alexander's. He pulled his back. She exhaled, "This is the first time it's happened on a wide scale, so we're having trouble figuring out how to fix it. So, we aren't sure what might happen if you don't. It could be nothing—you could tell everyone you come from another universe, and it's all dandy or," she chuckled nervously and spoke quietly. "or your universes might end up collapsing because of the mass recognition of you both being in the wrong one."
"You're fucking with us."
"No," she sighed. "I wish I was."
"We play along, or we all die?" I whimpered, how am I supposed to process this?
Ceram floated near us both, leaving the book on the table. "If it makes you feel any better, it's not only you two; there are a lot of others who were also thrown into other universes."
Alexander narrowed his eyes, "how did this even happen?"
Ceram hummed and didn't answer. "That's a very good question." She swayed back, her body moved by the book on the coffee table again. "You're both happily married, and this book should answer any questions about your lives here that you'll need."
"You didn't answer my question," Alexander said.
An infinity symbol glowed upon her forehead, "Look at the time, gotta go! I'll be back to check on you guys later!" She vanished before we could get in another word.
I studied the coffee table's edges and the book. "What just happened?"
"I don't fucking know," Alexander grumbled, our eyes met briefly. For some reason, I broke away first out of embarrassment.
This is too weird. "Do you think Ceram was lying?" I walked around the living room, studying the shelves and the games. A lot of the books and games were stuff I was interested in. I found myself surprised, seeing a photo of him. Is Alexander smiling? I had never seen him smile like that except when he held Sasha. You look a lot better when you smile. I kept the thought to myself. I didn't want to argue with him right now.
"She had so much fucking magic, I felt like I was suffocating." His eyes stopped their glow. "This place isn't created with mind manipulation. I'd like to think I'd know..." He pinched the bridge of his nose, "and I can't imagine someone gaining something from us like this."
I nodded in agreement. "Do you think it's a prank?"
"It's too elaborate," Alexander inspected the room too. He picked up one of the pictures with us in it and looked at me.
"What?"
He squinted and put it back down, "Nothing."
Fine. I walked back to the coffee table, knelt beside it, and picked up the book. "Ceram said this is about a month of us- or them together. Maybe it'll have some sort of answer?"
"Yeah," Alexander said, looking more annoyed as he checked over everything.
...
Alexander
He pinched himself when she started reading. This isn't some sort of weird ass dream.
His nose continued to pick at her scent. He smelled it no matter where he went, and his stomach growled in response.
Fuck me.
His attention, involuntarily, moved to Lynette. She was hunched over and reading. He took in another deep breath. The sweet and alluring air told his body to get closer.
He bit down on his bottom lip until it broke, and the sour, foul taste of his blood drowned out his instincts. I need to go out and get someone. He needed an excuse to escape from the house and away from the Shrimp anyway.
Alexander got ready to tell her that and stopped. I can't leave her here alone; she can't protect herself. He doubted Ceram was after either of them for any particular reason. If they had wanted her alone, they wouldn't have brought me. He rubbed his temples and paced around. None of this makes any sense unless we trust what she said.
To him, this was too crazy of a scenario to be a lie.
But why the hell would I end up with a human? His eyebrows dropped when he stared. I eat them. His frustration climbed up his throat.
"Of course, out of the billion or so humans in the world, I still end up stuck with you," Alexander said, low enough for her to hear.
She didn't lift her eyes from the page. "You invited me."
"I did," He stood across from her and attempted to read the page she was on. "If you were like any other human, I wouldn't have."
She raised her bashful gaze, "At least one of us isn't upset you invited me. The money's great." She spoke under her breath, " I just don't understand why some of you are jerks."
Alexander scoffed, and a slightly bothered smile showed. "You're the one that gets yourself in most of those scenarios."
"I do not!"
"You're a human. You shouldn't be getting involved or close to monsters anyway."
"And technically, my family is too, in some way, shape, or form, and they're nice! So is Viola, Tila, Elliot, June, Zane's a little weird, Drake-"
Alexander laughed, "Drake?"
Her lip pushed out in a pout, "WAY nicer than you."
"What have I done to you?"
She brought her hands up and balled her fists. She swung them around a little, then slammed them down as gently as she could, "Plenty! You chase me around, threaten to eat me constantly, you also practically..." she shivered. "Drooling every time you look at me, and you always look so annoyed with me-" she pointed at his face. "Like right now!"
Alexander turned his head to the side. It's not my fault. "I'm hungry—what do you expect."
"I can't even have a normal conversation with you!"
"That's the way my fucked up body is," Alexander pulled back, his mouth tightened, and he pressed his teeth together. "I-" A single letter left him before his mouth refused to continue.
He changed his response as he usually did.
"You're what I eat. I'm a fucking half Wendigo. I'm hungry all the damn time. Yeah, sure, it's better now than before, but it's still in my fucking head." Alexander replied. "If you don't like it, don't talk to me."
Lynette lowered her brows, and her eyes clung to him. He could see the sympathy he'd only ever received from his family.
He broke their eye contact, "Tell me if the book says anything important, I'm going to keep looking around."
Alexander walked away from her, checking over every little thing he could. The kitchen, laundry room, closets, dining room, and now he was moving upstairs too.
Everything seems normal. He walked into the massive master bedroom. His eyes squinted over it. He noticed the Wakizashi sword near the bed. He smiled. One of Drake's nerd gifts.
He realized it only helped prove that this alternate universe self had at least some similarities to him, or if this was a setup somehow, they did their homework.
He next moved to the dresser in front of the bed, near what he figured was the master bathroom. He searched through the top drawers; they were things he'd wear. He continued to go through each one and raised a brow conspicuously.
"What the hell is this?" He took out what he thought was a crop top and held it in front of his face. His eyes fell to the two prominent mound-like shapes protruding outward.
When it clicked, Alexander freaked out and dropped it immediately. He faced away, and his cheeks burned.
His mind steadily wandered to the one accursedly embarrassing time at the Halloween party.
SHUT UP, BRAIN. He quickly picked it up, threw it in the drawer, and slammed it shut. He exhaled hard, letting go of relief and annoyance simultaneously.
Alexander stumbled back and sat on the bed. "Why would I even be with Lynette?" He inhaled and groused curses under his breath. His body focused on her damn scent again. He pulled his navy tank top to his nose again. Why do I smell so much like her? His mouth filled with saliva. It's like she rubbed herself all over me.
His empty abdomen groaned louder, and he clenched it. A low growl left his vocals.
He pushed off the bed. Fuck it, we're getting out of this damn house, and I'm going to eat. He'd imagine she'd complain about him eating someone, but he lost all his will to care.
He marched out of the room and heard her shriek from below. Without a second thought, his body propelled him forward, and he ran to the balcony. He grabbed the railing, threw his body off, and landed with a giant THUD against the hardwood floor. He flicked up and assessed Lynette. No one was around her, nor did she look hurt besides her deep red-tinted face.
"What?" He asked as her lip quivered.
"I-I f-found a part of the book that's uh-has, well-" she stumbled over her words.
Why is she acting so flustered? What did she read between the other us... He could feel the burning redness on his face returning, too, "S-sex?"
Lynette squeaked, "N-NOO!" She voice weakly exclaimed, "worse!"
Alexander couldn't respond. His jaw hung slightly open in disbelief. His thoughts created figments of things that could be worse and fit the same bright red mortification she wore. WHAT KIND OF FREAKS ARE THEY?! "WHAT COULD BE WORSE?!"
She dragged the book closer to her body and refused to show him. "D-don't worry about it."
"Oh hell no, this isn't some journal situation. You're showing me." He leaned over the table to grab it.
She got up from the floor and stumbled back toward the kitchen. "No, if you read it, you'll say something about it!"
"I don't care, Shrimp. If I'm involved, I deserve to know whatever the fuck worse is." Alexander wasn't going to leave his curiosity unanswered.
He grabbed her wrist and brought her close enough for his other hand to steal the book. He turned his back to her and held it high so she couldn't reach it.
"XANDER!"
He opened it to about the middle.
"H-hey! I didn't read that far!" She complained, and he was going to start here anyway.
"Alright! Xander. I'll tell you where just- don't say anything about it."
He skeptically peered at the short girl and dropped it on the coffee table. He didn't say yes to her terms, but she searched the book to find the exact page anyway.
"Here."
He prepared to read the worst. Nothing so far. He soon got to the end of the page, read what he believed she meant, flicked back at her and, in flabbergasted frustration, yelled, "YOU THINK LETTING ME EAT YOU WILLINGLY IS WORSE?!"
...
Thank you for reading, GOOBERS! :D
