The people who say 13 was never in love with Yaz, you can tell they never watched or didn’t understand Legend Of The Sea Devils because HOW do you take the literal sentences where she says that Yaz is one of the greatest people she’ve ever known and that she doesn't do dates, but If she ever has one I’d be with Yaz (or literally “NOT A BAD DATE, AM I?”) and think, "Oh no, there's obviously nothing going on there. Everyone else is forcing a relationship on them and it doesn’t make sense that they love each other.”

the thing about wolfstar is they no doubt love each other,, but they're not soulmates. In fact, they're the complete opposite, fate is almost begging to keep them apart. They shouldn't work. They're both two traumatised boys with familial issues, queer in the 70s and both stubborn in their mindsets. The people they've hurt the most is each other. They've lived through a war, Sirius was falsely imprisoned and Remus lived believing that, but they still managed to reconcile. Considering everything, they probably shouldn't be together -- but they do. They fight against all odds to make it work. And this is my absolute fave part of wolfstar fics.

It's also why I prefer wolfstar to prongsfoot -- despite the fact that in theory they seem like the better couple.

Because I don't like couples where the universe binds them together by fate. I like couples where the universe does its best to pit them apart, but they struggle and claw their way back together regardless. And that is the beauty of wolfstar my folks.

anyway idk I've been giving it the benefit of the doubt y'know maybe Suki's character arc is too heavy maybe the whole kana debacle burned people Bad and maybe no one wants to sit through the massive soap backlog of episodes and yeah was everyone objectively wrong? yes absolutely, but I still thought whatever it's fine i suppose it's their loss.

Then two relatively femme white women get together with barely a quarter of sukeve's development and apparently everybody can't get enough 🙄 imagine my surprise.

tldr; if y'all could stop gagging over white wlw for long enough to sit down and experience a very devastatingly romantic three year bollywood-esque reverse lesbian romeo and juliet slowburn with a gorgeous period drama coded desi milf with a cunty as hell nose ring and a very lovely butch with a heart of gold (played by an honest to god irl lesbian!) I promise you'll experience some of the best lesbians ever 😌👆🏾

It came to mind when Ayumi was called out about not being able to portray being in love “there is no love in her eyes” during her tv drama. What if while she is looking for someone to learn how to portray love from she stumbles on one if the many tabloid articles about Maya and Shigeru…and well y’all know where this is going but maybe this sparks something in Ayumi, her not knowing why her chest aches at the sight of her rival in love, while she herself is struggling to portray it.

This furthers when she asks Maya if she has ever been in love (when they are training for the Crimson Goddess role). Maya says she has been in love, but it ended badly. And Ayumi says something along the lines of the news articles being true, and that she’s sorry. Thus confirming her suspicion and simultaneously breaking her own heart a bit more.

I’m not trying to take away from Maya’s love experience with Shigeru cause he was a good guy. But man wouldn’t that be interesting to see Ayumi’s love continue to develop during that time and how she would handle it? (Burying it deep deep down inside her cause she’s a tragic lesbians) _(:3」z)_
