Was doing a bit of thinking for my father!Diluc thingy and ya'know, monsters and shit. Because there is a child in it, I was thinking of ways to pacify the killing of them we do in game. So here they are.

Slimes, Fungi, Whopperflowers, Specters and other lifeforms (most of them):

- what we see as killing them is scaring them off, to them, our weapons become (sandals, or chanclas, or 拖鞋).

- we scare them by bonking them, as we bonk them, they drop little parts of themselves, kinda like pissing you self because you're scared but much cuter

Hilichurls (including Lawachurls, Samachurls and Mitachurls):

- I have no other way of making this killing any less gruesome but I have another thought

- so we all know how these people are Khaenri'an people turned right (if you don't sorry for the spoiler)? What if us killing them is our way of setting them free of their curse

- just a thought

Abyss Creatures:

- I think that that is not their "real" body. Its corporeal, but not their original body

- when we kill them, we send their consciousness back to the Abyss, where their real bodies are

Rifthounds and (I can assume) Geovishaps:

- they are rock, they sink back down into the ground melding with nature

Treasure Hoarders, Nobushi, Fatui and Eremites

- killing them in game is essentially just beating them up and taking their lunch money (in the form of the insignias)

- nothing much to it, they flee like pigs at a butcher

Automatons (including the ones in the desert area of Sumeru):

- they break down into pieces or stop working; hence why we see some parts of said automatons sticking out of the ground as we explore to places.

I won't go on to the Weekly and/or Field Bosses because they are practically just bonking them and them pissing themselves but in the form of drops.

idk there’s something so deeply sad abt primordial albedo seeing his superior copy gain freedom in mondstadt and choose a lab set overlooking the corpse of their dead body when he (primo-bedo) didn’t get that. when he (primo-bedo) was instead fed to durin. albedo has a home in mond. he leaves durin when the weeks done and goes home to a lil ball of fire and love. but dorian? he has to stay there. he was abandoned without a home and stays in the cold with no opportunity for warmth lest he take refuge near his dead brother’s heart.

Whoppy Fandesign!

I know it's been a year and a half since we last saw either him or his dad BUT! I've had this idea running around in my head for a while so I attempted to draw it. I ended up giving him a wish art cause Nahida's little pose was too good not to use. Then I got lazy and abused IbisPaint's perspective editing abilities to do the background instead of drawing it😂 anyway I put a fair amount of thought into this (which is explained under the cut) so here you go!

it's a little low quality, but still.

I'm imagining him as a Cryo Catalyst, since he probably lost the ability to use a sword after he got his ass beat. I get the feeling seeing a sword gives him bad reactions after that (considering he had Bennett, Eula and Traveler running at him with them and then got backstabbed...) so he prefers to just use his own power- although having a catalyst doesn't really do much outside of appearances, it can restrict him from using too much power at once and exhausting him, which is useful. He prefers to keep a distance in fighting instead of going in with the smack like half the other male catalysts do.

His fake Vision, which he uses to pass off his Cryo abilities (not like he really needs to cause literally everyone can tell he's a flower) is located on the back of his little overcoat thing. It's similar to Venti's where it splits into a pair of coattails at the back- the glowing thing on the back of Venti's is in the same spot as Rubedo's Vision.

He ties his hair up into a little bun, with one of the lantern-like thingamajigs hanging off it. Paired with the two on his braids he's got three lanterns, which smack into each other and sound a little like bells when he's running around. If you need to find him, just follow the sound.

His outfit is the way it is to maximise room for partial transformation if nessecary. He also just loves the feeling of having a skirt on, so there's that as well. Short sleeves give his arms wriggle room and a wide layered skirt gives him room to move. It also has the added bonus of being long enough to cover his legs so he doesn't get cold :)

albedo and his three brothers. some headcanons and design elements under the cut :)

albedo, compared to the others, has the yellowest blonde hair - with droopy blue eyes, freckles, and his signature golden star birthmark on his neck. i didnt change his design much because i think his current design is already very nice !!

his personality is already layed out in the game so i didnt change much! hes reserved, but not the socially anxious type. he just prefers not to deal with social interaction because he thinks its easier that way. he doesn't hold himself back, and just says whats on his mind (and/or asks for assistance when needed.) he has a very professional attitude on the outside, but a soft and comforting nature to his close friends and family.

this is a contrast from dorian, or "rubedo", who has more platinum blonde hair, and purple-red eyes. he also has moles, instead of freckles. his marking is more of a purple-red color, and has more points to it. (he can also hide and change it!) his hair is also unbraided, but in a ponytail. he has somewhat of a permanent scowl on his face, and his eyes are downturned while albedo's are more droopy. i think his real name is rubedo, to match with albedo (both are stages in alchemy) but after rhinedottir abandons him, he changes it to "dorian" to match his brother, durin. (his name is dorian in the games files, so i made a story to go with it. but i also believe he's inspired by the story "the picture of dorian gray")

his personality is more brash & brazen compared to albedo, as he has some un-resolved baggage surrounding rhinedottir abandoning him in durin's stomach (aka: the dragon in dragonspine). he resents albedo for having the life he couldn't have despite being created by rhinedottir first. he was merely the testing stage of albedo's existence. he doesn't have a vision, and he cant control the elements, but he miraculously has powers of his own. he uses durin's blood (or crimson agate) which manifests much like albedo's geo element. his power is strongest when in dragonspine near durin's heart, so if he went to mondstadt city, it would be much weaker.

whopperflower, or just "whoppy", is dorian's creation that he made from studying albedos books and notes (that he stole, by the way.) so obviously, i gave him cryo whopperflower traits. his design is more similar to albedo because dorian projected his issues onto him a bit ... whoppy has white markings on his neck and forehead that match other flowers, and his leaf colors extend onto his hair :) he's fully capable of mimicking something else, but his true form is a whopperflower - and i wanted to make all of them have distinctive designs, so i gave him a little sprout on his head :)

whoppy's personality is quiet and obedient. since he was created by dorian, he listens to pretty much everything he says and has a hard time gaining his own free will. dorian doesn't control him after the fight in shadows admist snowstorms, so he still has to learn how to think for himself... he also wields the element of cryo without a vision, because he's a whopperflower :-)

the last one is what i like to call "glitchbedo" and he's based off of this glitch. i think it would be interesting if he was an unknown identity from the abyss, who roams around dragonspine, before he saw albedo and tried to steal his appearance. albedo finds him roaming around mindlessly one day and pretty much takes him in. when trying to make him talk however, loud static noises come out instead. (i got this idea from this comic!)

he's just ... a black void?? that's it. his head is tilted permanently for some reason. he can't write or speak but he can understand tevyats language. he's a very mysterious guy... im still trying to figure out how i want to characterize him -_- something like paper jam dipper from gravity falls, maybe ??

Being carried by a cryo whopperflower, who had brought her from snezhnya to liyue, it held a knowing that she had to get somewhere safe, somewhere other than places that'll try and kill a poor child (although she was originally an adult, she was in it's petals when it had to dug underground).

Trying to get as close as it could to liyue harbor, it nudged Alloine closer to start walking. "Wuh-baha-" Alloine tilted her head at the whopperflower's motions, before it dug underground and disappeared.

Hearing the noises of a lively city nearby, she slowly stumbled towards the harbor. "Maaamaa?" Alloine called out
