good morning/afternoon/evening/night!
Something that always twists my brain, is Snape's sense of moral. I've seen lots of analysis about his actions trough the books, and at least half of them say that most of the heroic or kind doings of his are directly or indirectly influenced by his love towards Lily. Those comments defend that he adopted her morals to honor her.
Could you share your view about this kind of moments? I assure you I'm desperate for your conclusion.
good morning, anon☀️
while the thought that anyone could be interested in my incoherent ramblings is perplexing, i'll do my best to shine a light on this topic
well, to be honest, i'm not sure i'm the best person to answer this, because i personally hate when people give all the credit for snape's actions to lily. no, i don't believe everything he did or said was a direct result of his attachment to her. i think that's a very reductionist take, and it's often made in a way that underplays the implications of his situation. because here's the thing: when you say that he became good because of lily, what you really mean is that he did the right things for the wrong reasons—and that's just stupid. again, intention doesn't erase impact. if you did a good thing, then you did a good thing. and i don't mean to say that intention never matters or that it's never important; just that the intention shouldn't be so important as to overshadow the actual, real-life impact of the action, yes?
HOWEVER
for the sake of the argument, let's try to understand where these people are coming from and whether they're right or not. you said that the arguments you saw about this topic "defend that he adopted her morals to honor her." so, in order to make sense of this, first we need to:
1) define what lily's morals were, exactly. what did she believe in, and was it good? and
2) did severus actually adopt these morals, and was he honoring her?
now, every time i have to say anything critical about lily, i still find myself being held by that old childish awe of her. we spend seven books inside harry's mind hearing all about his daydreams and longing for his mother—the woman who died for him and kickstarted this whole damn thing. and it is inspiring. but we have to remember that the only reason harry thought so highly of her is because he didn’t actually know her. he didn’t know who his mom was or what she believed in—and neither do i, really
all i can do is try to scrape some conclusions based on the context other people had of her, which isn’t a lot to begin with. so what do we know? we know that she was a very beautiful witch, with green eyes and red hair, very talented at charms and potions too—fierce, vivacious, and gentle. the wife of james potter and the ex-best friend of severus snape. we also know that she had her doubts about the students in slytherin house—due to their blood purity beliefs and use of dark arts—and that she hated the conflict between severus and the marauders, though she did find it a bit funny sometimes, apparently. she's also not very fond of the word "mudblood," and it's a severe enough reason to end a childhood-long friendship. she did marry james potter later on, so bullying isn't a hard limit of hers—as long as it's done discreetly enough, that is
besides this, what's the only other thing we know about lily? she died to protect her son. it's her most remarkable action, and it says this about her morals: she's willing to do anything, specifically for her son, even if it means certain death
with this context, we can now begin to analyze whether severus adopted her, oh, very long list of morals
first of all, severus' fascination with the dark arts never stopped, nor did his use of them. he spent years wanting the spot of dada professor, and with him working as potions master for voldemort, you can bet your ass he was doing some dark shit. even for dumbledore too, i'd argue. the guy hit him with an avada kedavra. i don't think lily would appreciate that
did he stop with his blood purity prejudice? i mean... no? because he never even started. at this point, i think we all know that the reason severus joined the death eaters was less about thinking muggleborns were inferior and more about wanting power, money, and prestige. joanne herself said this already. he did use a slur once while under pressure (blah blah blah torture is unreliable to extract truthful information blah blah blah victims will say anything to make the pain stop blah blah blah strategically useless), but he immediately tries to apologize and later on is shown to hate the word himself
as for his treatment of his students, one could argue that it was bullying or not (one of these days i'm going to add my two cents to this conversation), but i think we all know what lily's opinion would be—especially considering that snape's most frequent target was her own son, her most obvious moral compass. also, he wasn't particularly discreet while doing it, so that's definitely not good in her books
and what about harry then? he did die for the boy, and i do believe it was for lily's sake—i mean, it definitely wasn't for harry's. he feels a lot of guilt for his part in her death—he's overwhelmed by it. he spends years protecting harry’s life at the cost of his own… everything. his dignity, his patience, his life. and he did so without an unbreakable vow to bind him, which is something people forget very often. but then again, he ultimately sends harry to his death, as per dumbledore's plan, going directly against the core of who lily was and what she stood for
so was he honoring her, after all? dude, i don’t think so lmao
i think a good part of his actions was a direct and indirect result of his guilt, not his love for lily. and that doesn’t erase or lessen the good he did, at all. but part of it was his own set of obligations and morals too. two things can be true

This is what I find so fascinating and baffling about Smallville.
I watched the first couple of seasons when they originally aired, came back to it many years later, never quite managed to get past season 5 or 6 out of frustration.
I and, it would seem, the vast majority of the fandom, came out of however far we got in the series thinking, "Wow Lex was trying to be so good and he was treated so badly, Jonathan Kent is an asshole actually and turned his son into a jerk and I can't believe this show wants me to think Clark and Jonathan are such good people and Lex is inherently evil."
It wasn't until just this past year that I found out that, actually, the intention was that the way Jonathan treated Lex and the way he influenced Clark were, in part, why Lex turned out the way he did. That a little compassion from the Kent men could have saved him.
I find this interesting because they so clearly failed at delivering that message.
I'm sure someone could analyze the actually storytelling to explain why it failed so spectacularly, but I believe the main problem was the medium.
"Lex Luthor could have been turned from the path to supervillainy if he'd just experienced the love and respect of a father figure" and "Maybe Jonathan Kent wasn't the saint that Clark paints him to be" is the kind of What If story that would have been PERFECT for a comic book storyline. A handful of issues of a limited Jonathan Kent title that focuses on Jonathan, explores this idea of a man so scared of losing his child that he occasionally veers off into paranoia and reactionary thinking that makes him treat other people as enemies or less important than his family. Bringing a young Lex to Smallville briefly and juxtaposing the way he interacts with Clark with the way he interacts with Lex and directly foreshadowing the way those treatments will shape the men Clark and Lex will grow up to be. Maybe even making a really fine point about the fact that, even though they occasionally clash, Clark still has a loving, supportive, protective parent in his father, while Lex is so desperate for one because he has no one. Directly comparing the blind distrust Jonathan has for Lex's motivations to the lack of trust Lionel has for Lex's capabilities even by just mirroring dialogue — maybe even having Clark mirror it too near the end.
But the reason that would work so well in comic form is because this is the kind of storyline you do when you're playing around with canon. Which you can only do when you have a canon to play around with.
I mean think about it. If they had done an entire series that was just Lana and Clark's adventures tooling around Metropolis while under the influence of the red kryptonite, but without establishing anything about the kryptonite at all, people would have also gotten the wrong idea. They'd just be like "wow Lana and Clark are assholes, they just party all the time and start fights with people for no reason, it's like these people don't even understand these characters."
That's basically what happened here. Smallville was a completely new canon, the only things most people knew about it going in were that Clark would eventually become Superman, the goodest superhero in the world, who loves his perfect sainted parents, and Lex eventually becomes his arch-nemesis.
With just that framework, it's no wonder that we all watched Jonathan shout over and over again about how Lex is a Luthor, you can't trust him! when Lex had done literally nothing and thought, "I can't believe this show wants me to think this asshole is the goodguy."
And going even further, the result is an implication that the actual reasons Lex became evil were:
Extreme child abuse
Psychosis
Being susceptible to bullying and manipulation
Using what money, power, and influence he has to fuck over objectively terrible people to protect the good people in his life, even when those good people treat him like shit half the time
Having unhealthy coping mechanisms for being treated like shit
Not liking being lied to
Was it the show's intention to imply that any of these were contributing factors? I couldn't say. But when I watch Smallville? That's the message I get. And that's, from what I've seen, why so much of the fandom comes out of it as full-fledged members of the Lex Didn't Deserve That and Jonathan Kent Hate Clubs.
I write this with the full acknowledgement that I'm only about a third of the way through the series, but the thing that is so frustrating about the direction Smallville has taken Lex is that there was so much potential (and likely even the intention) to take Smallville Lex's story in one of two pretty interesting directions: either he and Clark broadly have the same goal (help humanity) but fundamentally disagree on how to accomplish it to the point that it leads to a complete breakdown in their relationship (the Magneto storyline); or he has good intentions but compromises a little here and a little there, until he takes so many steps down a path he didn't intend to tread that he's eventually so many miles from the moral ground he started on that he's completely crossed to the other side (the Anakin storyline). Both of these are interesting, complex character journeys that would allow the audience to sympathize with Lex up to a point, while also empathizing with Clark's emotional turmoil at having to let go of his former friend who has slowly morphed into someone unrecognizable.
But bewilderingly, they threw both of those out and went in a third direction: Lex is a fundamentally good, decent, compassionate person who has been pushing back against and even outright rejecting his father's cruel and corrupt methods since childhood, and is driven by a genuine desire to help those around him and make the world a fairer place, and it doesn't affect how people view or treat him at all. Everyone is determined to ascribe nefarious ulterior motives to everything he does simply because he's a Luther. He was always going to be Clark's enemy because from day one the Kents decided he could only be Clark's enemy*. Of course he's going to end up adopting the ways of his father because that's what everyone thinks he is anyway. In other words, he got the Elphaba storyline.
And I find that baffling because that storyline is extremely sympathetic. Again, I have two-thirds of this series to go, so it very well could surprise me, but I honestly don't know what it could do at this point to make me lose sympathy for Lex or feel like whatever he does is something Clark didn't bring on himself. Clark constantly openly doubts Lex's motives, and continually harangues him for his mistakes (real or imagined) even after Lex owns them, apologizes for them, and attempts to make amends for them. But Clark is the one I'm supposed to be rooting for? He's supposed to be the good guy?
I guess I just don't understand why you would set up two perfectly good villain origin storylines, and then abandon them for one that makes your so-called hero look like a total asshole.
*There's a whole other essay I won't get into here about Jonathan Kent's paranoia in particular, and the way it destroys Clark's ability to trust by assigning nefarious intentions to innocuous actions, and the way it damages Clark's fundamental goodness by teaching him that using his powers to help and protect people is a secondary goal to his primary purpose, which is to protect himself and his secret at all costs. That man is not the moral or ethical north star Smallville seems to think he is.

Fuck It Friday -- Stargate Atlantis AU
When they dial in to Atlantis, actually (finally) step through the worm hole, Tommy can't stop looking up. The windows, the stars -- they're infinite, beautiful, there's never ending space to explore. He gets to explore. They brought him here to fly and oh-
"We need to take stock," says the guy who stepped through behind him. "This place has been abandoned for generations, who knows what's here. We need to--"
He's interrupted by Tommy's least favorite person, definitely in this solar system. Possibly in any other. He wishes he hadn't had to follow General Gerrard anywhere, least of which through a worm hole to an entirely different star system. "Excuse me, Mr.."
"Buckley, Evan Buckley. And it's Dr. I did finally finish that degree in physics."
"Sure. Right. Dr. Buckley. Army protocol states--"
"Well, actually..." Dr. Buckley starts, before the woman behind him interrupts him, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Buck," she says, "let's let everyone get through the portal."

Taps mic. Does anyone here even know what SGA is? Just @liminalmemories21 and I? Okay.

Danny Fenton is Chip Skylark
Normally, I don't like doing multiple crossovers. I prefer to stick to just DC and DP. That being said, I have always loved the HC that Danny Fenton grows up to be Chip Skylark because it is the same creator and art style, so this is going to be an exception.
Bruce never understood the way people became obsessed with celebrities. He never experienced the whole "crush on the celebrity" or the urge to follow whatever scandal a celebrity was involved in (as long as no crime was committed).
If he liked an actor, it was because their moves and TV shows were good. Their acting had a range of roles that were well done. If he followed a singer or a band, it was because their music was something he enjoyed listening to. If he had a favorite sports player, they were terrific athletes who won competitions.
It was never because he thought them attractive or that he was burning with the need to know who they were dating. He didn't need to see every detail of their lives because he honestly didn't care if this singer was seen buying donuts on a random Saturday with an unknown man or if an athlete was seen buying from a discount bin.
It always made him uncomfortable how fans thought they had a right to a celebrities time. Running up and demanding autographs, taking videos or photos without consent and the worst of all, sending death threats to anyone they believe was stealing thier celebrity away.
He often heard people say that famous people knew what happened when you became famous, but that just sounded like an excuse not to treat another human being like a human being—at least to him.
The whole "they belong to the public now" was just....ugh.
Alfred was the same way. He got excited to meet someone famous from the theater but wasn't one to watch talk shows and sandals. Wasn't one to pin posters to walls or get offended when someone famous acted like a normal person.
Then Dick came to live at the manor, and although it confused him, Bruce let Dick get excited over a celebrity singer. Bought all the posters, signed CDs, met and greets, front row seats, and backstage passes if it made Dick happy.
Jason was the same with Broadway stars, gasping and babbling whenever someone he adored appeared on TV. Tim nearly fainted when he met that one famous skateboarder, framing the used napkin he had the man sign.
Steph adored that one Boxer, constantly babbling fun facts about the man that had nothing to do with boxing. Why would Bruce care what elementary school he went to? But he listened anyway.
Cass had dancers she went star-eyed for. There was that phase where she styled her hair the same way as her idol from Paris Oprea Ballet despite the fact that the style was only during nonperforming hours. Bruce had to special order the endorsed hair bands with a blue star of said Dancer.
Duke had an actor whom he never missed a single moive or show for. Even if the TV show she stared in flop from the terrible writing, the boy forced himself to sit through every minute if only because she appeared. He had a collection of DVDs long before moving in with Bruce and when Bruce took him to a special release night of her latest work, Duke had actually bursted into tears when they played her thank you for watching viedo before the movie started.
Really. Caring so much about people they didn't even know made no sense. He would understand if it was a fictional character, like the Grey Ghost because the character is and was just what that particular media presented. But real people? It was a real head-scratcher.
He assumed Damian would be the same as him. After all, Bruce knew his father, and his father's father had the same view of celebrities.
He was wrong.
"It's Chip Skylar!" His son screams at the top of his lungs when Danny's picture appears on the screen. His old college friend had contacted him asking if it was possible to have some special protection at his next concert.
Apparently, at the last one, he was kidnapped by some crazy fan and held hostage with a kid she babysat.
Seeing as Bruce and Danny often collaborated on tech for Batman (Before Danny got his big singing break, he was one of Gotham U's top engineering majors), Bruce saw no reason not to step in and offer help, especially if it turned out his kidnapping was due to magic, like Danny suspected.
He may not run around as Phantom anymore, but Danny had seen his fair share of magic users and magical creatures. That was the only explanation for how a tree had just appeared in the middle of the road and caused him to crash right in front of her house. She wasn't the cause of the magic, that much he was able to figure out when she chained him up, but it made Danny uneasy.
He was worried that the magic users would try again, and much like Superman, he had little to no defense against it.
"We're going to guard Chip Skylar!? " Damian hyperventilates, practically vibrating in his seat from excitement. "I get to meet Chip Skylar!?"
"You're a fan of his?" Bruce asks, slightly surprised, only to notice the same excitement on his children's faces.
"Ugh, duh. He's only like one of the most talented artists ever!" Steph gasped, pressing her hands over her mouth. "He once stopped to let a black cat, and every animal shelter in the state had their black cats adopted within a week!"
"I started flossing more regularly because of his Shinny Teeth song," Duke admits. "I couldn't get enough of that commercial."
Dick pulled out his phone, tapping rapidly. "I got to tell Wally. He will be so jealous I get to guard Chip Skylark!"
Bruce stared at all of them, wondering how even Jason and Cass seemed to be losing their minds over the same guy he once caught trying to drink three gallons of milk because, and he quotes, "It makes my bones go brrrrrrr"
"Danny is an amazing singer but-"
"Danny?" Tim snaps his eyes towards Bruce so fast, it took every ounce of his training not to flinch."How do you know Chip Skylark's birth name? Only the most dedicated fans know his non-stage name."
Bruce shrugs. "You all know how I feel about famous people. I'm not that dedicated of a fan but I happen to be friends with Danny. I can ask him to met you if you want-"
"YOU PERSONALLY KNOW CHIP SKYLARK, AND YOU DARED TO GIFT ME ART SUPPLIES FOR MY BIRTHDAY!? FATHER HOW COULD YOU!" Damian screeched, slamming his hands on the conference table as his siblings broke into an uproar.
Bruce honestly can never understand this.

Warrior Penelope stuff cause I've been listening to too many EPIC genderbent covers, and I wanted to give my take on it (also cuz I kinda want to draw it one day)
- Ares as Penelope's patron, absolutely! But Ares didn't have a huge cult in Sparta, although he wasn't hated. So my lore take version thing is that ATHENA wanted to be Penelope's patron (she had already an eye on Ody kinda) but Ares saw his chance, got to it first and became attached to Penelope without wanting to admit it, also because she saw the good and useful in him. Athena still watches over Penelope (especially after her and Ares platonically break up, which she finds really stupid) and is the one who does her best to protect Ithaca while she's gone. She's by Ody's side while he misses his wife and is mostly the reason why the Suitors hadn't taken over yet.
- To get Ares to realize his mistake, Athena tricks him into helping Telemachus defeat Antinous in Little Wolf because free bloodshed, only to end up sensitized by Telemachus because holy shit, my friend's son is here almost dying to this ASSHOLE who thinks he's so much stronger than MY friend the queen and even me like who tf does he think he is. Athena makes Ares fucking rational for once. And maybe even Aphrodite, as well, gets some damn sense in his mind like "they love each other like you and I and my girl is doing her best to get home you're going to apologize rn"
- ctimene holds a claymore double her height with no problems
- penelope is more "cold ruthless" than Odysseus, in a way that she's still poised (until the end or when she's really brought to her knees which is disturbing) while doing merciless stuff. She's emotionless a lot more (just on the surface)
- Ares was the one to give Penelope the idea of going to war instead of Odysseus, for obvious reasons. And Pen is really a mastermind among the Greeks ofc
- Ares and Pen fought in their My Goodbye version because she "held back her power while her friends got devoured" "she didn't even fight Polyphemus, didn't even TRY to kill him" "hid behind her wits to get things done". Because when fighting Polyphemus, she knew that if she tried to kill Polyphemus while he was asleep, they'd be stuck in that cave forever (like in the real Odyssey). And knew that fighting while her friends got killed would slow them down and probably get more people dead. And when they ran away, she didn't go back to kill the Cyclops even if she could've because of yes, mercy, but also because she would've awakened all the other Cyclops and sailing away was faster, better. Ares deemed this cowardice. Crazy thing, since one of the most important things to him is courage.
- Ares overstimates Penelope's power. Like, yes, she's exceptional, but still HUMAN. With her limits. He hasn't dealt with a human personally in years so he doesn't understand this, so his expectations are ridiculously high, which ends up breaking Penelope.
- During 600 strike, Penelope can actually breathe underwater and not hold her breath for such a long time and be fine because she's half naiad (yes, they are fresh water nymphs but still). Also this may make her even stronger around water (to a certain degree, she's still very mortal)
- calypso is pansexual
this is already a lot, ill add more when i think about it lol (also if i realize any of these ideas don't make sense)(check reblogs for more)

When it comes to neglected readers/ocs fics, it's always about the batfam, or even the superfamily. but recently i've been thinking of another idea
Because if those families can have neglected readers, where does it say the rest of the superheroes can't be the same? Specially as yanderes?
i love the aus where the JL has kids around the same age and they know each other or even form a group together similar to their parents and stuff (i blame @fancyfeathers and their amazing yandere au ideas for this. Go check their blog, their latest work Burn it Down it's awesome and the biggest inspiration for this), so hear me out: An au with JL's kids where it consists on neglected readers/ocs. Except, unlike their heroic fathers, most of these kids have been raised by morally questionable people and followed that path to fill the void of the neglect.
Imagine Oliver Queen's son, who similar to Bruce's, was born out of a relationship between Oliver and a woman he spent some nights with. She was a mercenary going undercover, who happened to meet Mr Queen and agreed to go on some dates with him to keep up the facade, but unfortunately, the rich asshole happens to be very charming when he wants to be...just like that cursed black canary of his. She gave in, against her best instincts, and by the time she realised what she got herself into, she was staring at a positive test in an hotel's bathroom. She chose to keep him at first, raising him alone and away from Oliver and Dinah, believing the man was unfit to be a proper father (and fearful the pregnancy would shackle her to them). She trained the boy and taught him everything she knew, but also kept him separated from her job...until she couldn't. Things got too dangerous and one day, she was killed. Her body was never found. He was going to move in with some of her mum's friends , but then he received an unexpected visit: Mr Oliver Queen. Apparently, the mum reached out to the man a while ago to let him know of his son's existence, and since his potential foster family were essentially criminals like her mum, it was decided he was to live with his father instead. The boy is taken to the Queen's household, but as all stories go, his dad never has time for him and his stepmother is, well, she's not rude but she's busy as well and it's messy. He has his little brother, Connor, and he's expected to be his caretaker when their parents are out, and as much as he loves his brother, he low-key resents this role imposed on him. His main comfort is sneaking out to visit his other family, who are basically a bunch of other mercenaries that act like his uncles, aunties and cousins, who keep encouraging him to follow his mother's footsteps. And there's the thing that, well, Oliver's son doesn't really believe his mum died. He suspects she faked it to hide from enemies and protect him, and he's determined to find her. After all, she's the only parent he feels that has ever loved him.
He and Bruce's daughter know each other since childhood, due to being both introduced to high society around the same time and having the same age. They're not best friends, but they share a mutual understanding and keep in contact from their respective cities. They're usually glued to the hip in events where both families are invited because they're the only people who they don't have to pretend or put on a mask with. They also talk shit about their fathers together over glasses of wine and complain about their family.
Imagine Hal Jordan's daughter, whom he conceived with an enemy of his, non other than a Yellow Lantern. Obviously, this affair was doomed from the start and, one day, she vanished. Leaving no trace of her, as if the galaxy had somehow swallowed her. Not even Hal couldn't find her, leading him to believe she was really dead. In truth, the woman gave up on her yellow lantern duties for the pregnancy and tried to lead a normal life. Out of spite and paranoia, the woman refused to tell Hal about their child, raising her as a single mother and doing everything in her power to hide her parentage from her. Also, because she earned quite some enemies during her time as a yellow lantern, and wanted her daughter to remain unknown so she wasn't targeted. However, the woman missed the power, the freedom to fly around the vast space and the adrenaline of instilling fear in others, so eventually, when Sinestro contacts her, she agrees to take the yellow ring again, but with that choice, it comes a raging fear (ironic, isn't it?): Her daughter won't be safe if she stays with her. And bringing her along isn't an option either, Sinestro made it clear. That lifestyle isn't suited for kids. So she makes a hard decision: Leave her at her father's doorstep to stay with him while she's out with the Sinestro corps, along with a letter revealing that she's his child but not who the mum is. Given his record, he assumes it was one of his one-night stands and doesn't suspect the truth at all...not initially. He tries to be a good dad, he really does. He's a good uncle, so he can definitely be a good parent, right? But being an uncle isn't the same as being a parent, obviously, and with his constant responsabilities as both Green lantern and pilot he's constantly out of the house, leaving her with his brother's family. He's awkward about it, he doesn't know what he's supposed to do with a surprise child, how he's supposed to act or feel. He's lost, and shamefully, sometimes relieved to leave her with his brother so he doesn't have to handle that task. Meanwhile, the girl is still in contact with her mum and they meet when the woman swings by to Earth, having some nice mother-daughter bonding until she has to leave again. The topic of Hal is still taboo, so they act like he doesn't exist. She loves her mum, truly, but can't fight the crippling loneliness when she realises both her parents chose their duties over her again and again. She won't admit it, ever, but deep down, she also craves for her dad's affection. She knows her mum wouldn't approve, but don't all kids need their father's love at some point? She sees him with her cousin Helen and wants the same wants it so badly she could cry, but he doesn't look at her the same way and sometimes it feels there's something wrong with her. As she grows, she learns to fight the insecurities with adrenaline, throwing herself into dangerous situations, like illegal car races, and overall breaking the law for the fun of it. She's scared every time, but after all, like her mum always taught her, fear is power. And having others fear you too? It's even sweeter.
She and Bruce's daughter have an intense love-hate relationship, leaning towards hatred but also reluctant respect. They have, unknowingly, inherited their fathers' beef and throw shit at each other by instinct. I see them having met as kids too, and that's where the beef started. It never stopped. But they just can't connect with anyone else the way they do. They speak in insults and mocks, or are silently judging people together. There's no in-between.
Imagine Barry Allen's daughter, who came to exist after a one-night with a fellow forensic scientist before he ended up with Iris. They cut off contact after she went to work in another lab, but just a month later she finds out she's pregnant. She debated whether to tell Barry or not, but since she didn't have the resources to raise her alone, she ultimately told him and, after some very awkward and tense talk, he agreed to be part of her life and help them, sharing custody and all. She has criminal ties (maybe Captain Cold is her uncle or sum), so Barry's daughter grows up with slight anti-Flash propaganda in her mum's house, which feels weird to her because everyone she knows loves Flash. At first, Barry is a decent dad and does his best to be there for her even when his job keeps him away a lot. He makes time for her, they do stuff together and they have fun. He even argues sometimes with his mum to keep her work him longer than they agreed to. But all changes when he marries Iris. Now, the woman is never anything but polite with her, but it's made abundantly clear from the start that she already has a mum and Iris has no intention of taking that role anyway. Suddenly Barry is cutting his time off with the girl to go on dates with Iris, which, okay, it might be understandable, he has the right to fall in love and all and she already has her mum to be with. But she misses her dad too. But she doesn't want to come off as an entitled brat. But she's just a little girl yet who feels like she's losing her dad even though he's still there. And then, Iris gets pregnant. Barry is over the moon and kinda forgets he already has a child. Everything becomes about the incoming babies. All the conversation revolves around them. Getting her dad alone becomes impossible, and he doesn't make time for her anymore. Doesn't argue with mum to keep her with him longer. She's not a priority anymore. And godamn it hurts. Hurts like a bitch. Hurts more than anything she's ever felt. Not even her mum can console her. With time, it feels obvious to her Barry is not going to be invested in her life anymore. Not when he just started a family with a woman he truly loves and with kids he actually planned for. But fear not, because if her dad isn't interested in her, she has her mum and her side of the family, who love her as well. And she learns a lot about chemistry from her mum, enough to help her with the family's secret and not-so-legal work. But when she's running to get the morning bus for school and in a blurry second finds herself in another state, her body vibrating with something unknown, that's when the real problems start...
I see her being best friends with Hal's daughter, simply because it's written in the stars that for every speedster there's a Lantern with them and they have to be besties, so the girls are too. Every Flash comes with a Lantern as a pack. She's also good friends with Oliver's son..but maybe she wants to be more.
Imagine Zatara's son, younger than Zatanna, born from his second wife. When Zatanna was a teenager, he found love again and remarried with a woman who knew all of his bussiness with the Justice League and had a child, whom from an early age he initiated in the art of magic. However, there's something different about the boy. Something that sets him apart entirely from his father and sister. He doesn't have their proefficiency towards magic. He seems to get hurt by it, and also gets sick easily, which makes him unfit to become a wizard. Instead, he's seemingly made for a completely normal life with the bonus of having to stay in bed more often than he'd like due to his poor health. This pushes Zatara to focus a bit more on Zatanna, who still doesn't fully control her own magic, and leave his son to be mostly in his civilian mum's hands. The boy grows up feeling lonely and frustrated with his own body for being wrong, because he can feel something wrong just doesn't know what it is. It pulses inside him when he's near certain parts of the house and almost hurts when his dad or his sister cast spells near him. There's also the fact that when his emotions run high, sometimes windows are shattered and furniture slashed around him. He gets told its because of the remnants of magic his family leaves behind and respond to emotions, that it has nothing to do with him personally. But for some reason, it's usually after those incidents when he falls sick and isn't allowed to get out of bed. It's only years later, with secret research on his own and reaching out to certain people, that he finds out the truth. About why he can't fit with his dad and sister, why he can't do magic the way they do and why he's in pain a lot at convenient times: He's a wizard of chaos, like Klarion. And someone put a block on his powers "to protect him". Now, he's just determined to prove not all wizards of chaos are inherently bad (and maybe prove to himself that he can be as good as his family if not better)
Clark Kent's daughter, older than Jon, who was apparently born as a complete human like her mum and showed no signs of kriptonian powers, like her brother. Because of this, much like Zatara did, her dad focused on training Jon and teaching him everything while his daughter watched from the sidelines, feeling displaced and lonely because of it. Add to that that because of her seemingly human nature, Clark sees her as fragile and takes a sometimes overprotective stance that only suffocates her further. She's the oldest, the one expected to take care of the family and the house, yet she has to hear him tell Jon is his duty to protect her and make sure they're all alright. Just because she doesn't have heat vision doesn't mean she's helpless! She's not good enough to hang out with them or defend herself, but she is to stay put at home like a little housewife? Like her mum is stuck to? She refuses. And she loves her family, she really does despite all, but the bitterness is sore. She craves to get out of Kansas, this small farm with the same damn routine every day, and go see the world. Experience new things, have fun, feel like a girl her age for once. She thinks that's the most she can aspire to...until one day, after an argument with her dad, she storms out of the house and punches a tree out of sheer frustration....only to watch in shock how the tree is ripped away from its root and lays torn apart in the ground, with a big ass dent where her fist slammed against to...opsies.
In the ultimate act of rebellion, she would apply for a Lexcorp's internship as a school project, believing it won't work anyway because in paper, she's just a journalist's daughter living in a farm. But for some reason, she gets the internship, and Luthor seems personally invested in her career choice..
I know it's cliche as hell but i really just want to add a group of JL's neglected children that band together out of spite to fight their daddy issues by being absolute menaces to society with very questionable morals (and the ocassional "accidental" murder ofc)

The Residence: Self-Acceptance & Embracing Different Ways of Being ❤️
Contain Mild Spoilers that doesn't reveal the murderer! 🤣
One of my favourite scenes in The Residence is the birding trip that Cordelia takes her nephew on, where she tells her nephew that every birder makes sense of what they experience differently:
Tumblr media
Just like everyone makes sense of Life differently and there's no single "universally correct" way to Be, even if others, including those you love, don't understand your Way of Being and label you "unhealthy, single-minded, obsessive, difficult, stubborn, uncompromising", just because your way is unusual or frustrating for them:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Even though the natural differences in our Ways of Being can cause friction, as well as hurt & frustrate us in turn when others label us negatively, it doesn't necessarily mean that we need to change our Ways of Being just to fit into the "norm", because our so-called "flaws" (which are really just differences in Being) can be a great help to others when applied to the right Context.
Which we saw when Cordelia used her unique gifts to find her sister Aimee's missing strawberry sock that their late brother had gifted to Aimee, so Aimee can feel better after their brother's recent passing (this was why Aimee was so upset by the missing sock, coz it felt like she was losing a piece of her brother who they'd already lost).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just like finding the missing sock was what Cordelia could do for Aimee, accepting ourselves and each other to embrace our unique gifts is what we can all do for each other, so we all have the space to be our authentic selves while connecting with and helping each other despite our differences, and oftentimes because of our differences.
When we can do that, when we can embrace the Diversity in our Different Ways of Being, we may find that what are commonly considered "flaws", "weaknesses", or "undesirable, inconvenient traits" can turn out to be our greatest collective strengths 🥹❤️
I find this message of Self-Acceptance and Embracing Diversity in Ways of Being a very very moving message in a world that tends to label neurodivergent and non-conformist people negatively by default 🥹❤️
Not to mention, even while Cordelia's her unapologetic self throughout the case, she tempers her Nature where she needs to, such as when she drops her investigation immediately when Chief Dokes, the one person who's been in Cordelia's corner with unwavering trust & support throughout the case and her career, needs protecting from the fallout to his job.
Which shows us once again that Cordelia was never the "difficult, uncompromising, stubborn" labels that people different from her slapped on her, and she didn't let those labels stop her from being her True Self to help others 🥹❤️
Coz let's not forget Cordelia's great Heart, which is evident when she solved her first case of the missing strawberry sock, not coz she's "difficult or uncompromising", but coz she loves her sister & doesn't want Aimee to be sad 🥹
Ironically, it's probably the rest of the world that's more "uncompromising" than Cordelia when it comes to accommodating Different Ways of Being, coz unlike "normal" people who tend to want others to conform to their "normalcy" as alluded to by Cordelia's phone conversation with adult Aimee who reminded Cordelia her son's not like Cordelia, to which Cordelia replies she knows that and she isn't trying to turn her nephew into her, she just wants to make sure he's a little less like Aimee and more like himself (which tells us Aimee's parenting is probably quite prescriptive), we see Cordelia giving her nephew freedom to be himself while she tries to find the bird he wants to see, and she even tells him "you can do it how you want" when he asks what he should write in his own birding book 🥹❤️
It's precisely because Cordelia wasn't accepted by general society for her differences that she innately understands "everyone does it differently", even supposedly "normal" folks, and it's more important for us to accommodate Different Ways of Being rather than to enforce some universal false standard of "normal" on others.
Coz just like it was never about "us versus them" in AB Wynter's mind or in Cordelia's, in Life it's not about "us versus them" either.
It really is just Us.
That is why I L❤️‍🔥VE Cordelia Cupp and this show 🥹❤️

Scenario where PIDW Bingge had something like the fucked up baby dimension from Fire Emblem: Fates for handling his kids.
For those who haven't played enough Fire Emblem games: in Fates you can hook up various characters who will, once they've bonded sufficiently, get married and have children. Because there is a dangerous war on and nobody has time for childcare, these babies get sent to various pocket dimensions where time moves differently, where they are raised by servants. They then reappear in the story as adults (mostly) who are also just like, barely younger than their own parents. This is of course hilariously fucked up, for even more reasons than what a simple overview can convey, and it's also just kind of shrugged off by the narrative despite the many, many bewildering implications involved.
So I'm imagining Airplane stealing this whole concept and sitting down to write about Bingge sending all of his children away in order to protect them from his enemies or whatever other excuse, creating special nursery dimensions with Xin Mo only to not really spend any time with his offspring at all, resulting in a lot of them growing up extra fast and reentering the story as adults at wildly unpredictable intervals (i.e. whenever Airplane feels like it without having to remember the timelines involved because *waves hand* time passes differently in the different dimensions too). For the daughters, this just gets them married off into alliances (if they're even mentioned at all, because Airplane doesn't want to write incest and there's basically only one reason female characters get mentioned in this story), but for the sons, this usually has them showing up as upstart challengers to their father's throne. With a conclusion, generally, of them getting their asses kicked and then being sent back to their pocket dimensions with their tails between their legs (Binghe killing his own kids would be too reprehensible, after all). Sometimes (rarely) they become loyal generals. One or two have died to fuel revenge arcs. The protagonist halo extends only limited benefits to his kids.
Anyway, Shen Yuan of course reads all of this and absolutely hates it. What do you mean Binghe doesn't even raise his own kids?! What do you mean even their mothers don't?! Shen Yuan understands that Luo Binghe is an important guy with important things to do, but handling it this way makes it impossible to even consistently visit his children on their birthdays! They'd be having birthdays every day because they're all on freaking Narnia time! And of course his sons keep growing up and trying to overthrow him, surely Binghe himself should appreciate that under these conditions, his children are going to see the servants raising them as parents more than some distant emperor they've never met...? Not to mention, if time moves quickly in these dimensions, theoretically Binghe could just stay there with his kids himself and not have to worry too much about things changing in his realm, because only a few months would pass there! He could have it both -- spend plenty of time with his kids and not worry about neglecting his responsibilities! So why doesn't he do that?!
The answer (never actually provided by Airplane) is that Bingge doesn't really feel a strong connection to his children, and because of his reverence for his adoptive mother, he thinks that giving them peaceful lives with simple people to raise and love them is the kindest thing he can do for them. If he could have had an idyllic childhood with his mother in a place where nothing could harm him, he would have never sought power at all.
But of course, Binghe's kids aren't thinking "oh gosh yeah my humble childhood in a magic dimension was much better than starving on the streets!" because that wasn't ever going to be their fate in the first place. Instead they all develop varying complexes about being sent away by their impossibly remote father and his giant harem.
Possible fic ideas involving this setup:
-Bingyuan where Shen Yuan transmigrates into the intended tutor of one Luo Binghe's most troublesome sons. SY arrives in the baby dimension and immediately bonds with the little Luo, gets really mad about the whole situation all over again, and when Bingge shows up for a rare visit, rips him a new asshole about it. Romcom shenanigans ensue.
-Scenario where SV's Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe decide they're ready to adopt, and SQQ figures out a back door into PIDW Binghe's baby dimensions and just sort of, ehm, borrows some of the children he knows had really bad times in the novel (not all of the idyllic upbringings worked out, there were instances of the dimensions being attacked and the servants there being killed and etc). Bingge eventually finds out. Dramatics ensue.
-When PIDW Binghe tries to summon a Shen Yuan of his own to the PIDW world using Xin Mo, it accidentally creates some stability issues with the baby dimensions. Shen Yuan get teleported in and out of these dimensions instead, bonding with the kids there to various degrees, only to be swept away every time Bingge tries to use Xin Mo to find him again. A handful of years later, a bunch of new Heavenly Demon scions emerge as adults with the Luo family's Shizun Complex in full swing, right around the same time that Bingge finally captures Shen Yuan. Hijinks ensue.

Hey can I please request a Lloyd x reader where she is his ex-wife but he wants her back? Maybe they have a child together (they're the only people who he is really sweet and soft with, he lights up when he sees them) and idk maybe their child wants them together too? He's trying to find excuses to see her or kiss her and he has their child as a support?
Idk whatever you find interesting or have inspo for ❤️
Tumblr media
Thank you for this amazing ask. I hope you like it. Warning- Little angst and fluff.
Your hands tremble slightly as you pack your son's backpack for his weekend with Lloyd. It’s a routine exchange, one you've done countless times since the divorce, but the familiar ache always lingers.
Sharing custody of Victor is always a bittersweet affair. Every time you see him, the resemblance to his father becomes more and more apparent. His bright eyes and mischievous smile are like a living reminder of what you once had together. Yet, despite the pang in your heart, you push your feelings aside, knowing that this arrangement is for the best.
The doorbell rings, and you exhale deeply before opening it.
Lloyd stands before you, immaculate in his polo shirt and with that same cocky smirk you've come to know all too well. Despite your best efforts, your pulse quickens at the sight of him, a reaction you've tried to suppress but have never been able to completely control.
Damn that moustache! Always been your weakness.
You fix your expression, forcing a neutral smile as you step aside to let him in. You're used to this routine by now, but the sight of him still dredges up a mix of emotions you'd rather keep bottled up.
“Ready for our little guy?” he asks, his voice annoyingly smooth, like melted chocolate. Victor bolts past you, yelling, “Daddy!” as Lloyd scoops him up effortlessly, peppering his son's face with exaggerated kisses that make the boy squeal with laughter.
When your son was born, Lloyd had named him Victor, saying he's his biggest victory in life.
You force a polite smile, ignoring the way Lloyd's eyes flick to yours, softening. He always looks at you like that, like you're still the most important thing in his world, even after everything.
After Sierra Six.
The memory burns like acid. Sierra Six had been your breaking point. Lloyd's obsession with catching the rogue operative consumed him, pulling him deeper into his dangerous world and further away from you. You had begged him to walk away, to prioritize his family, but he couldn’t let it go.
“You don't understand, Sugar!” he'd said during one of your final arguments, his voice sharp but his eyes pleading. “This isn't just a mission. It's personal.”
It became personal for you too, when Six's retaliation nearly cost you and Victor your lives. A car bomb meant for Lloyd had detonated outside your home, leaving shards of glass and smoke as a grim reminder of the risk you couldn’t live with anymore. You’d left that night, taking Victor with you, and filed for divorce shortly after.
“Thanks for packing his stuff…” Lloyd says now, breaking you out of your thoughts. He hesitates, then adds, “You could come with us, you know? We're just going to the park.”
“That’s your time with him…” you reply, keeping your tone neutral.
Victor tugs at your sleeve. “But, Mommy, you should come! Daddy says he misses you.”
Your breath catches, and Lloyd clears his throat, awkwardly running a hand through his perfectly styled hair. “Victor, buddy, why don't you go grab your soccer ball from the car?”
Once Victor bounds away, Lloyd steps closer. “He’s not wrong…” he says softly, his gaze holding yours.
“Lloyd…” You start to protest, but he cuts you off.
“I know I screwed up. I know I didn’t protect you the way I should have, but I’m trying, Sugar. I’m trying to fix things. For you. For Victor. For us.”
You cross your arms, a shield against the vulnerability in his voice. “You can’t just say these things and expect everything to magically go back to how it was.”
“Then let me show you...” he says, taking another step closer. His hand brushes yours, testing waters. “Let me prove it to you.”
Before you can respond, Victor runs back, his soccer ball in hand. “I got it! Mommy, are you coming with us?”
Lloyd kneels down, pulling Victor into a side hug. “Tell you what, buddy. Why don’t we see if we can convince Mommy to join us next time, huh?”
Victor pouts dramatically, his big eyes, the same shade of blue as his father’s turns on you, “Please, Mommy? Daddy says families should stick together.”
Your heart squeezes at the sight of them, your two boys. Lloyd stands, his eyes never leaving yours, and he leans down just slightly, so close you can feel the warmth of his breath.
“Think about it…” he murmurs, before pressing a soft kiss to your cheek. It lingers, a promise in its tenderness, and leaves you standing there, your resolve crumbling ever so slightly.
As they walk away, Victor waves enthusiastically, and Lloyd throws you a smile over his shoulder. It’s cocky and hopeful all at once, like he knows the kiss wasn’t just for show.
Maybe, just maybe, he’ll find a way to win you back.
The weekend passes slowly without Victor. You spend the quiet hours tidying up, trying to distract yourself from the lingering thoughts of Lloyd’s kiss and the words he left unspoken. But no matter how hard you try, you can’t stop replaying his plea, “Let me prove it to you.”
On Sunday evening, Lloyd drops Victor off as planned. Your son runs inside, chattering about their adventures at the park, the ice cream truck they chased down, and how Daddy let him drive his tiny remote-controlled car.
Lloyd lingers at the door.
“Can I come in for a minute?” he asks. His tone is careful, cautious, as though he’s testing the waters.
You hesitate, but something about the vulnerability in his expression makes you step aside. “Just for a minute…” you say.
Victor is already in the living room, playing with his toys, oblivious to the quiet tension between you and his father.
Lloyd takes a deep breath, his hands stuffed into his pockets. “I’ve been thinking about what you said the other day. About things not magically going back to how they were.” He pauses, his gaze locking onto yours. “You’re right. They won’t. And they shouldn’t. Because I want things to be better than they were before.”
You swallow hard, your heart beating faster, “Lloyd, I…”
“Let me finish, Sugar.” His voice softens, and he steps closer, closing the distance between you. “I’m not asking you to forgive me overnight. I’m not asking you to forget what I did or the pain I caused. I just… I’m asking for a chance to show you that I’ve changed. That I’m trying to be the man you and Victor deserve.”
Tears prick at the corners of your eyes, but you hold them back. “You think one kiss and a few sweet words will fix everything?”
“No!” he says firmly. “But I think being here, every day, showing you how much I care… that might. I’m not giving up on us, Sugar. Not now, not ever.”
Before you can respond, Victor runs up to the two of you, holding a drawing in his little hands. “Look! I made this at Daddy’s house!”
The picture is messy but a clear stick-figure family of three, all holding hands. Above it, in Victor’s uneven handwriting, are the words, “My family.”
Your chest tightens, and you glance at Lloyd, whose eyes are filled with unshed tears. He kneels down to Victor’s level, gently ruffling his hair. “That’s a beautiful drawing, buddy.”
Victor grins and turns to you. “Mommy, don’t you think we should be a family again? Daddy’s been so sad without you.”
You look down at your son, then at Lloyd, who is watching you with a mixture of hope and fear.
“I don’t know, Victor,” you say softly. “It’s… complicated.”
“But you love Daddy, right?” Victor asks innocently, his big blue eyes staring up at you.
You hesitate, the truth sitting heavy on your tongue. “Yes…” you finally admit. “I do.”
Lloyd stands, his expression unreadable. “Sugar, I know I’ve made mistakes. And I’ll spend the rest of my life making up for them if you’ll let me.”
Victor tugs on your hand, his face lighting up with excitement. “Please, Mommy? Let Daddy stay.”
The weight of the moment presses down on you. Slowly, you nod, your voice barely above a whisper. “Okay. Let’s see where this goes.”
Lloyd’s eyes widen in surprise, and then a rare, genuine smile spreads across his face. “You mean it?”
“Yes,” you say, a small smile tugging at your lips. “But you’re on thin ice, Hansen.”
He chuckles, his confidence returning. “I wouldn’t have it any other way, Sugar.”
Victor cheers, throwing his arms around both of you, and for the first time in a long time, you feel a flicker of hope.
Maybe, just maybe, you can be a family again.
The days that follow are a whirlwind of emotions. Lloyd takes your cautious ‘okay’ as a challenge to prove himself, and he doesn’t waste any time.
He starts small, picking Victor up from school, helping him with homework, and showing up at your door with dinner. Each time he’s around, you find yourself torn between wanting to push him away and feeling your walls crumble a little more.
One evening, as you’re washing dishes, Lloyd appears beside you, drying a plate you hadn’t asked him to touch. “You know,” he says, his voice low and teasing, “we make a pretty good team.”
“Lloyd, I don’t need your help.” you say, trying to focus on the sink.
He leans in closer, his breath warm against your cheek. “You might not need it, but I like being here. With you.”
Your face heats up, and you elbow him gently. “Back off, Hansen.”
But instead of retreating, he grins and presses a kiss to your temple, quick and soft. You whirl on him, glaring. “What do you think you’re doing?”
“Testing my limits,” he replies smugly, holding up his hands as if in surrender. “You’re adorable when you’re mad.”
You roll your eyes, but the blush on your cheeks betrays you. He notices, of course, and his grin only grows wider.
Lloyd’s efforts intensifies over the period.
Over the next few weeks, Lloyd becomes a constant presence in your life. He shows up unannounced with groceries, fixes the broken cabinet in your kitchen, and even surprises Victor with a mini soccer goal for the backyard.
One afternoon, while Victor is napping, you find yourself sitting on the porch with Lloyd. He’s unusually quiet, his gaze fixed on the horizon.
“Why are you doing all this?” you ask, breaking the silence.
He looks at you, his expression sincere. “Because I lost you once, Sugar. And I’m not making that mistake again. You and Victor… you’re everything to me.”
The raw honesty in his voice leaves you speechless. Before you can think of a response, he leans in, brushing his lips against yours. It’s soft, tentative, as if he’s giving you a chance to pull away. But you don’t.
When he deepens the kiss, his hand rests gently on your cheek, you lose yourself for a moment, the familiar warmth of him overwhelming your senses.
When you finally pull back, your heart is racing. “You’re impossible…” you mutter, your cheeks burning.
“And you’re beautiful,” he replies, his lips quirking into a lopsided smile.
Despite your reluctance to admit it, Lloyd’s persistence begins to wear down your defenses. He’s patient with Victor, kind to you, and relentless in his mission to win you back.
One night, as you’re tucking Victor into bed, he grabs your hand. “Mommy, do you still love Daddy?”
Caught off guard, you glance at Lloyd, who’s standing in the doorway, watching you with an unreadable expression.
“I…” you start, unsure of how to answer.
“I know you do,” Victor says confidently. “Because you smile more when he’s here.”
Lloyd chuckles softly, stepping into the room. “Our kid is a great observer, you can’t hide anything from him.” he teases.
“Go to sleep, Victor…” you say quickly, pressing a kiss to your son’s forehead before retreating to the living room.
Lloyd follows you, closing the door behind him. “He’s not wrong, you know,” he says quietly.
You sigh, turning to face him. “Lloyd, this isn’t easy for me. You broke my trust…”
“And I’ll spend the rest of my life earning it back!” he interrupts, stepping closer. “You’re the only woman I’ve ever loved, and I’ll fight for you every day if that’s what it takes.”
Tears well up in your eyes as you finally let the weight of his words sink in. “I’m scared…” you admit, your voice barely above a whisper.
“I know,” he whispers, cupping your face in his hands. “But I’m here, Sugar. I’m not going anywhere.”
The next morning, you wake up to the smell of pancakes. Victor’s laughter echoes from the kitchen, and when you walk in, you see Lloyd standing at the stove, flipping pancakes like he’s been doing it for years.
“Morning, Sugar,” he says, flashing you a boyish grin. “Thought I’d make breakfast for my family.”
You shake your head, but there’s no hiding the smile on your face.
Later that day, as the three of you play soccer in the backyard, Victor pauses and looks up at you. “Does this mean Daddy’s staying forever?”
You glance at Lloyd, who’s watching you with hopeful eyes. Slowly, you nod. “Yeah, buddy... I think it does.”
Victor cheers, throwing his arms around both of you. Lloyd pulls you close, pressing a kiss to your hair.
“I love you…” he murmurs, his voice thick with emotion.
And for the first time in a long time, you let yourself believe that maybe, just maybe, you could have your happy ending after all.

Archie's got it rough being a clone of the literal evil emperor. How do Hunter and Willow handle it when Archie's the target of bullying? After the childhoods they had (growing up under Belos and being heavily bullied, respectively) they strike me as parents who will NOT tolerate their kid getting mistreated.
Tumblr media
oh they tend to get REALLY protective of him, principle visits happen quite often to address some of his treatment by other kids, and the only reason they don't is because archie feels like he's a burden on them for them going through so much for him
it's not like everyone on the isles is out to get him, or even participates in bullying, but willow and hunter can smell that universally, people who suffered due to belos do treat archie differently
or even treat him like an exhibit to gawk at
after all, the belos stuff is still fresh for a lot of people, people are terrified he could come back, so that fact archie exists freaks people out, and it's not like everyone there understands grimwalkers
and this pisses them off, they want their son to just be a normal kid and grow up like a normal kid, it's not like the fact he exists is his own fault
Tumblr media
like in hunter's case, he understands the fear people have of belos coming back more then anyone, but he shoves that aside because he also knows archer is his own person and he needs love and support, all of his parenting revolves a lot around just treating him how he wished he was treated growing up
and for willow, she can't stand seeing her little boy treated like crap for stuff out of his control, much like she was, she is always trying to pump him up and if she does hear about any bullying she is quick to try and find the kid's parents if possible
people might just stay away from archie just to avoid her wrath

Yandere!Lighter Hcs RAA
This is pure rambling word vomit I just need him.
*drops all of my ZZZ Yandere headcannons* Oh no please I beg you don't read them 👀👀👀
Wise and Belle are next
Cw: Not healthy relationship, NSFW, non-con, kidnapping, implied that he is going to harm you, He is not okay, do not read if you are not okay.
Tumblr media
Lighter is sickly sweet to you like candy, He's close to the sons of Caledon but they would never understand how he feels for you. Everyone else outside the people he respects he doesn't care. Without you he saw the world in black and white. It might sound cheesy but you are his everything. And like hell he was going to lose his everything without a fight.
It doesn't matter if you love him or not, would be easier if you just accepted his love and stayed with him.... Not going to lie it hurts, It fucking hurts The fact the one person he fell in love with his first love does not feel the same. He never felt like this before nor he'll ever in his future.
Lighter we'll never just straight up admit his feelings for you He's too scared that you'll reject him. And he is downright terrified that you'll find out about his obsession for you that feels too damn good to stop.
You will never know that with his connections he has hired a few people to take a few pictures of you. Pictures that He uses the touch himself to every night.
You will never know how pathetic you make him feel when he can't have You in his field of vision for a single second.
Threatening anyone who is close to you, using intimidation alone at the others around you to make sure he's the only one you need. To you your friends and family we'll just think Lighter is a bad influence and a bad boyfriend, You none the wiser we'll think they're not looking past his looks. Because how could he be so deplorable and possessive when he's just so sweet?
Lighter when snaps he tries to calm has already spiraling mind, His shaky hands trying to fish in his pocket for a jawbreaker for him to suck on as his anxiety starts to spike and he makes a spontaneous decision to kidnapped you, He was never one for big plans or manipulation or anything. But he has you now and... He doesn't really want to let go of you. He knows full well that you don't like him It still hurts every time he's reminded of that. But he's so so sure that he could make you fall in love with him. All you have to do is... Stop being bad.
Lighter acts like the delusional yandere, Even though he's fully aware of how you feel about him. I think he just chooses to ignore it.
Believe him he doesn't want to punish you, He doesn't want to chain you down, or tie you up, or lock you away. And he certainly doesn't want to hurt you. He wants to protect you. Protect you from everything that can hurt you outside. But he will if he has to, It's the only way to make you see reason. you'll learn your lesson... One day.
Lighter is still sweet to you, maybe even sweeter now that he knows he gets to come home to the love of his life, You come home with flowers, candy, anything you like. And as soon as he sees you his tired face will lighten into a smile as he drops on his knees to your level to kiss your face and gently touch you.
He can't keep his hands off you "Hey baby~ how was your day today?"He would mumble against your neck pepper and kisses on your collarbone, He knows full well how your day has been and What you have been doing. But he wants to hear you say it. He wants to hear that voice he's been aching to hear all day. He really needs it.
He wants you on his cock so bad, when he has you in his lap stroking your thigh with his hand, you could feel something poke into your butt. But he can't take you; He wants to make love to you, And he can't do that when you don't realize how much He loves you.
He's not sure how long he'll last since the more you push him away the more he just wants to say "fuck it, You want a villain? you'll get one." to train your cock drunk self to take him everyday. But he wants you to love him; He doesn't want you to lust for him. He wants to come home and cook dinner with you, have a casual conversation, and cuddle by the fireplace before he makes love to you right there as the dancing fire casts your shadows on the walls.
He wants you to feel loved in his arms, He wants to be all mushy gushy and romantic with you. He wants all these things that he's afraid that he'll never have in his life. And he rather just force it on the one person he fell in love with.

The only way I can rationalise people accepting literal children going out and fighting crime as Robin is if they don't think Robin is a real child.
I think it would be fun to see how Bruce would use that to his advantage in protecting his kids. Like, if people think Robin isn't human, if they instead think he's a spirit or a ghost, they are less likely to shoot at him, less likely to try and physically attack Robin because they think it would be no use.
The fun part would be deciding HOW they would do this. I like to think that Robin's domino mask doesn't have a hole for his eyes but instead is glazed over so that he can see out of it, but you can't see in. Maybe they install small lights in it so it looks like his eyes glow in the dark, because can you image how fucking scary it would be to just see these two sentient light-like eyes and just know the Batman must be lurking somewhere close by?
Maybe Bruce installs super strong magnets in their gloves because on the chance that someone does pull a gun on his kid close range, it would be a lot easier for them to grab the gun away if they had the force of magnetism on their side. Also, grabbing onto poles and other metal materials would make all the scaling on tall buildings a little safer. Obviously, they'd need a way to turn it on and off, but still. Can you imagine, you're in a warehouse and there are steel frames fucking everywhere and you look up and suddenly there's a child gripping onto one effortlessly? Horrifying.
Maybe they have a voice box. Want to scare people? Play this really ominous recording of a child's laughter that echoes just a bit too loud to be normal. Play this ominous screaming that seems too silent to be real. Play this ticking that seems to never end that induces stress and increases the chance of them messing up.
What would be even funnier is keeping this act up with the Justice League and other teams.
Batman doesn't bring Robin to these meetings at the beginning because he sees no need to involve a preteen in such matters, but at some point the subject does come up and it's sort of like; So, Bats, what exactly is the kid? Like...is he yours?
And Bruce (paranoid as fuck) doesn't want to admit to these people that yes, Robin is my son because hello? That's gotta be his biggest weakness, he would do anything to keep that kid safe and fuck them if they ever tried to hurt him to get to Bruce.
So, he tells them that he's a spirit sent to haunt him and remind the city of it'd failures and the Justice League just... believe him?? Because this is Batman, and why would Batman ever lie about something so, frankly, strange? And it's not a huge deal, like they're a team comprised of metas and aliens and literal godesses, so what if the one normal human guy has a weird little ghost child? Who cares if he cares about it like it's a real boy? Maybe the baby spirit has rights, too!! They don't know!
So, when the JLA gets more popular and becomes an actual, legal part of the American government, they're required to list all of their members. And they class Batman as a human, because that's obvious but next to Robin, they don't really know what to say or how to ask Batman about it, ao they just put "Unknown Child Spirit - TBD"
And then just... never change it?
So, they don't question why a few years later Robin seems to look entirely different, or why after that he changes again, or why Robin is suddenly a girl for a while before going back to a little boy. That's obviously just some weird spirit thing they don't understand, and it's not like Batman is going to explain it!

Sakamoto Days 199!!!
Tumblr media
They're so dumb and in sinc already. True father and son duo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This page and the following panel. What does it all mean? That the JAA was already after Ando when Shin was a baby (and him?), before Ando dropped him of with Asakura? Although Shin does say that Ando is saying bullshit, we don't know what Shin means with that since we don't actually got to see what Ando was thinking about. (Except for trying to flee the country, which is already Andos plan.)
I do gotta add a theory I've had for a bit now. Which is that Shin was actually born with the powers, and that Asakuras chemistry simply activated them earlier than they would have otherwise. Don't know how likely that is though.
Tumblr media
Ando points out the hypocrisy in telling someone who you can't kill while being an Assasin. Which is honestly fair, and Sakamoto doesn't even fight it, just asks where the bomb is. (And promptly goes to a straight attack.) And Shin does seem to know where the bomb is, like Taro points out later in the chap. Except maybe, could it be, that the bomb is just a bluff? Or Ando already figured out/knows that Shin can read minds after his reaction before (previous pic) and said something else? No idea. Again we are once not shown what Shin can read in Andos mind. Probably for a more emotional scene later, but who knows.
Tumblr media
Sunglasses, Ikari, from the previous chapter attacks (with an anchor, of course, we are on a boat. Should have expected an anchor as a weapon, lmao.) And Taros instinct is already to just pick up Shin and run of with him in his arm. The fatherly instincts in him are to strong.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Meanwhile Shins trauma from being abandoned at a young age without any answers shines through strong. With, for now, the set believe that blood relation goes over anything. I can't tell if the panel of Taro is only him noticing Ikaris next attack, or if he's already thinking about what Shin is saying here. Never the less. He still immediately protects Shin, who at this point isn't a bystander, but still a kid and (for Taro at least) one that has got nothing to do with the job.
ALSO IKARI IS A CREEP. EWWWWW. GET AWAY FROM THE CHILD.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And while Taro is like constantly making sure that Shin doesn't die in all that chaos, ever since he meeting him, Ikari has no fucking issue to strangle (and assault because omg) a child. Just from the start of this flashback it's clear that Taro never liked killing when it wasn't neccesary, if at all. He saved him at first by just saying he would get rid of him infront of the thugs. He then keeps saving him over and over, even though Shin is a little shit and sends the shop owners after him. Telling him to either stay away from trouble in his way, "I'll be right back" - "don't get thrown overboard again" - from last chapter. (Even asking him if he's okay) I just really like this, seeing how despite the killing itself Taro always had something genuinly nice at him. Killing is work for him, nothing more. Not harming innocent bystanders isn't just a rule to follow, but something he deems right. Keeping a child safe in a fight, asking him "What's wrong?" and "you okay?" when the child looks sick? Even though he has obviously no idea how to act with a (traumatized) child?Just a natural instinct.
Tumblr media
Between all that he even decides to apologise to Shin because he can't understand his feelings. He doesn't understand Shins internal struggles. However he's not just bursting out anymore that he's gonna kill Shins dad, because it made Shin upset before, and instead says that he's gonna keep the enemy busy and for Shin to escape. Again, telling him to get to safety. And In a way even telling him to just stay away from the underworld I think.
So in summary. Sakamoto Taro is an assassin here, killing is his job. But he so obviously believes that innocence exists. That other people are innocent. He also believes that you shouldn't harm children (after all children are supposed to be the most innocent). But Taro also doesn't see himself to ever be part of that. At least not yet I think.

Ateez Girl Dad/Boy Dad
Seonghwa “Fatherhood, but make it couture.”
He is 100% a girl dad. All the way. I'm talking he's the girl dad letting his daughters dress him up in pretty pink princess dresses, having tea parties, and fake gossiping with her. He can deal with the moodiness and the emotions that come with a teenage girl really well too, and his daughter would definitely end up being so confident and loved. She's not settling because her dad taught her how she's supposed to be treated. All hail mother Seonghwa.
Hongjoong “Raising a daughter so delusional, she believes traffic lights turn red just to admire her beauty.”
Another girl dad. He'd do so good with a little princess to pamper. 100% would create the most delusional daughters ever though. Like, "He obviously loves you who wouldn't? Sure he ignored your existence but obviously he's just aware that he's not worthy of your beauty" or whatever. D1 hype man. The type of dad that would probably have a mental breakdown once his daughter starts dating because he thinks no one is good enough for his little baby. 100% really protective.
Yunho “A dad so busy, his kid schedules playdates through his assistant.”
Girl dad, 100%. THOUGH...I will say I don't think he's gonna be the most...Present father. Work comes first for him, so there's going to be that imbalance. So this girl may possibly end up with daddy issues. He'll spoil her but also not really...Be there? Because he's so wrapped up in work. So spoiling monetarily + absence = disaster.
Yeosang “He’s still deciding if he even wants a pet, let alone a child.”
Yeosang said 'neither'. I think A. It doesn't matter and it's stressing him out just trying to choose, or B. He doesn't want to be either (want no kids)
San “A father so loving, his kids are legally required to carry pepper spray and a love letter from their dad at all times.”
Another protective girl dad. He's raising very strong and confident women in the future, 100%. Though I will say, he probably wants a little boy and a little girl to raise to be amazing human beings who know a lot of love and give a lot of love whilst protecting themselves. Though if he had to choose, girl dad.
Mingi “The ‘figure it out yourself’ parent who suddenly wants to pack your lunch when you're 25.”
First boy dad of the group. I don't see a clear preference, but he would probably prefer the boy dad lifestyle. His sons are probably going to be really good people that he gave a lot of inspiration to in life. THOUGH....I also think he'll be one of those parents where when they're young he treats them like they're mature (Ex: Having them take care of themselves a lot), and once they're actual adults he treats them like little children and wants them reliant on him. Wouldn't be surprised if his kids do most of the parenting.
Wooyoung “Raising children like a talent agency scouting for the next Miss Universe.”
Another one who wants a little girl he can spoil, dress up, and parade around. Definitely a pageant parent. Trust Wooyoung's daughter will be on baby food advertisements and stuff, because he wants everyone to see his adorable little baby. The sassiest most spoiled kids ever will come from Wooyoung.
Jongho “His daughter’s first words were ‘I deserve better.’”
And another girl dad. He's another one who'll probably spoil his daughter, and teach her to understand her value. I think he'll probably raise his kids to be very well-spoken and have a lot of gratitude for everything though. All in all a very well-rounded person. I see his kids being very shy.

What would've should've been
Tumblr media
Pairing: Theodore Nott x fem!ravenclaw!reader
Summary: Theodore Nott didn't truly know what love felt like until he found you. But now all he can do is sit and imagine what should've been.
Warnings: Mentions of death/killing, Battle of Hogwarts, use of Y/N
Word Count: 2.3k
Tumblr media
Before You
Theodore Nott isn't the happiest person in the world. Scratch that, he might be the most subdued, emotionally complex guy to have ever existed. Hardly anything made him smile, next to nothing made him laugh. That's just how he was, is, and how he will always be.
It isn't completely his fault. People are never born 'sad' or 'emotionless'. Theo was brought up this way. It was ingrained into him as a child, silently impacting his life forever, and he didn't even realise it. Well, that was until his mother died. At the hands of his father.
Tumblr media
Theodore's mother was a gentle soul. Sweet and caring, she always looked after her son. She gave him everything a child needed, wanted, and then some. The one thing she couldn't provide for Theo? A stable father, who wasn't an alcoholic, abusive pig. Though she did try, the fear she had of Theodore's father never ceased throughout their marriage. She just had to try to shelter Theodore from this cold, uncaring lifestyle.
She could only protect her son so much. When Theodore was just nine years old, she couldn't take the abuse from his father anymore. So she tried to escape. From her house, from her husband, from her life. Yet she failed. And he found out. Theodore Nott Sr. was not happy with this. So he did the only thing that he thought could ease his troubles. He killed his wife. The mother of his child. The child that had heard the Unforgiveable Curse uttered from his father's lips. The child who watched the flash of green light emitted from his father's wand. The child who had to watch his own mother, the only person who truly cared for him, die.
Tumblr media
When he started Hogwarts, Theodore wanted a somewhat fresh start. Free from the burdens of his home life, he made friends.(Arguably, they were friends who his father would have approved of. If his father even cared.) At school, Theodore worked hard, and tried to mask the emotions he had always been told to oppress. Anger. Hatred. Vulnerability. So none of his friends truly knew what his life was like. Except for Lorenzo.
Theo told Enzo Berkshire everything. It was easier, having someone understand why you were like you were. Someone who you trusted with your deepest, darkest secrets. Someone who cared about you. That's how the two became best friends. Practically inseparable, 24/7.
Tumblr media
During You
Having a connection with someone was something Theodore didn't truly seek throughout his lifetime. Especially now, in his fourth year at Hogwarts. Apart from Enzo, he was fine with keeping to himself, keeping a low profile and staying out of everyone's way. That was, until he saw you.
Tumblr media
"Enzo, I don't want to go."
"Please, Theo, I want you to come. I'll be lonely without you." Enzo pleaded with his friend.
"I don't want to go to the Yule Ball. And besides, I didn't ask anyone to go with me." Theodore replied, still resisting the idea.
"So? No-one really cares if you're with someone or not. It's supposed to be fun." Enzo says with a sigh as he flops down next to Theo on his bed.
Theo scoffs. "Says you! How many girls asked you to go with them? 15?"
Lorenzo turns slightly pink at his friend's comment. "23..."
Theo lets out an exasperated sigh. "Exactly," Theo says, but after a moment he decides, "I will go to the ball with you Enz. Only because it's that, or sit around here or in the common room with all the first years."
Tumblr media
So, that was how he ended up standing at the side of the Great Hall, sipping a glass of pumpkin juice, and watching all of his friends dancing with whoever they brought to the Ball. Theo didn't really mind. Once again, he was merely waiting in the wings, not really expecting anything grand to happen to him. At least, that's what he thought would happen. Until he saw you.
You were with some of your friends on the dancefloor. Laughing and smiling, you were carefree, living your life to it's full potential. Theo couldn't bear to take his eyes off of you. It's not like you would have seen him anyway, with him lurking in the shadows.
After he had spent what felt like forever watching you, Enzo came to his friend's side, offering a new glass of pumpkin juice, which Theo gladly accepted.
"Who's that?" Theo asked his friend, nodding his head in your direction.
"That's Y/N. Y/L/N I think. She's in Ravenclaw. She's actually quite clever, I sat next to her in arithmancy last year." Enzo pauses for a second. "Why do you want to know?"
"I don't know," Theo shrugs, nonchalant. "I just... don't remember seeing her before, that's all."
"Oh. Well, she's really kind. And sweet." Enzo smiles before rushing of again to resume dancing, leaving Theo to mull over his thoughts. Thoughts of you.
Tumblr media
A week later, whilst sat in Potions, Theodore couldn't help but watch you, sitting across from him in the classroom. Strange. He had never noticed you before, but now it seemed you were the only thing plaguing his mind. He hardly took any notice of Professor Snape that lesson, watching you as you took notes with your brow furrowed, and how you twirled your quill around in your fingertips if you seemed distracted.
Over the next few weeks, Theodore Nott grew to know lots about you, even if you didn't yet realise it. He knew your favourite subject (Charms), your favourite sweets from Honeydukes (Chocolate Frogs, because you collected the cards). He even knew how you liked to spend your Sundays (sat in the courtyard with a book and a hot chocolate). Theo was drawn to you, for some unknown reason, and not even he could figure out why.
Tumblr media
In the weeks leading up to your exams, you spent an increasing amount of time in the library, studying. Funnily enough, so did Theodore. He wanted to do well academically, even if his friends preferred skiving off and messing with first years. So, that was how he came to speak to you for the first time, five whole months after he was first captivated by you.
"Can I sit here? All the other tables are either occupied or slightly sticky and I don't want to mess up my books"
"Uhh, sure!" Theodore said, shocked that you had even come over to him. "No," he told himself. "She's only over here because nowhere else was free. Don't get your hopes up."
"I'm Y/N, by the way." You smile at him, and wave your wand to get your books laid out on the desk in front of you.
"Theodore. But you can call me Theo." Theodore said, as he found himself smiling in return.
The two of you started to talk about anything and everything; school, exams, your hobbies, interests, just your lives in general. And that's how Theo realised that, maybe he wasn't such a cold, uncaring teenager after all.
Tumblr media
A week or so later, the two of you were sat under the shade of an oak tree overlooking the Black Lake, studying for, you guessed it, exams. That moment was when Theo finally plucked up enough courage to ask you something.
"Hey, Y/N?" he asked, taking a deep breath.
"What?" you replied, looking up from your book.
"I was wondering, would you maybe like to, and it's OK if you don't, I don't mind, you don't have to say yes or anything because it's completely your choice-"
"Spit it out, Theo!" you giggled, humoured by his rambling.
"Right. Sorry." Theo said, trying to calm himself down. "Umm, would you like to go to Hogsmeade with me next weekend? And could we possibly go to the Three Broomsticks? You know, just... us?"
Your eyes widened, before you smiled at the boy's worried expression. "Of course! Theo I'd love to."
You wrapped your arms around him and gave him a small kiss on the cheek before returning to your book, leaving Theodore grinning as if he'd just won the lottery. Which, with you, he basically had.
Tumblr media
After You
It had been a while since Theodore Nott had been back at Hogwarts. Since he had gotten the Dark Mark, at his father's force, he had stayed working for The Dark Lord, being a Death Eater. He hated it. It was a life his father had forced him into, a life which wasn't truly his. And now he was back at the one place which had been a home to him, but now he was here to destroy it.
Theo tried to look for you. The one person who he trusted, and the one person who trusted him. Theo wasn't here to fight. He wasn't here to kill. He couldn't do that here. His safe place, where his father couldn't physically torture him. Where you were.
Tumblr media
Before his sixth year at Hogwarts, Theo was held under the Imperius curse by his father, and the searing skull tattoo, the tattoo that would hurt him forever, was imprinted into his left arm. When school started again, he couldn't bear to tell you, his girlfriend, what had happened. But he did, because between you two, there were no secrets. When you found out, all you were was supportive. You helped Theo though his pain and anguish, but what he didn't know is that when you first found out, you cried for hours. Crying about his future, your future, angry at the world you live in for being so cruel. Crying was really the only thing you could do.
Tumblr media
After Dumbledore's death, Theodore did what he thought would be best for your relationship, best for you.
"You can't be serious, Theodore?" you said, trying to keep your voice levelled and clear, holding back the tears.
That hurt Theo. You never called him Theodore, unless you were really frustrated. Which hadn't happened until now. "Y/N please, I have to, it's for your safety."
"My SAFETY? Theo, I couldn't care less about that right now. Please, don't do this." You couldn't hold back any longer. The tears were now streaming down your face.
"I don't want to, but-"
"But what, Theo? I love you!"
"I love you too, but-"
"Then surely that's all that matters?" you say, exasperated. "We love each other. We can run away together, and live in hiding until it's safe for us to come out, to be together."
"No, we can't, you know we can't, we'll be found and then... you'd... You'd be killed." Theo says in a small voice. "And I can't let that happen to you. Please, Y/N, just listen to me. As soon as this is over, we can get back together. We can live together, start over together. But it can't happen now. Not yet. Please, Y/N, wait for me."
You can't stop crying now, and you lean over to Theo and kiss him. "OK. When it's all over. I'll be waiting for you, Theo. You'll definitely come back to me?"
"Of course I will, Y/N. I promise I'll find you."
Tumblr media
And of course, that's what he was currently doing. Looking for you. He had been waiting a year to see your face again, hoping you hadn't forgotten about him. However now he couldn't find you. Running through the corridors, shouting you name, dodging curses and rubble, Theo's only goal was to find you. And he did.
There you were at the top of the Astronomy tower, a split lip and wearing a torn blue jumper, you were aiming all sorts of hexes at a Death Eater. Theo was so relieved, and began firing spells at your opponent, until he was knocked unconscious. At that point, Theo kicked the limp body over the balcony, not caring what would happen.
"Y/N." Theo smiled. "I told you I'd come back."
You pulled Theo into a hug and kissed him. "Theo!" you breathed.
"I love you more than anything, Y/N." All Theo could do was look into your bright, tearful eyes, relieved that he could see you once again before-
"AVADA KEDAVRA!"
That fateful curse.
A flash of green light.
Your body fell limp in Theo's arms.
Your eyes lost their brightness.
"NO!"
Theo tried to pull you up, tried to hold you tight, but it was no use. You were gone. Theo looked up to see your murderer, looking him in the eyes. His father.
Your death at the hands of Nott Sr. ensured Nott Sr.'s death at the hands of his son. That was the first and last time that Theodore Nott would ever use the killing curse, and it only made sense for it to be on the person that used it on the two people who he had loved most in the world.
Tumblr media
When the Battle of Hogwarts was over, most of Voldemort's supporters were dead, captured, or had fled the scene when it was evident that they were losing. But two Death Eaters stayed behind, simply because they couldn't bear to leave the castle like this. They felt it was partly their fault. Those two Death Eaters were Theodore Nott and Lorenzo Berkshire.
Whilst everyone gathered in the Great Hall, Enzo wandered the, now ruined, corridors of a place he loved so dearly. What he didn't expect to find his best friend, leaning on the crumbled wall of the Astronomy tower, cradling someone in his arms. Not to mention the fact that his father lay on the ground mere feet away.
"Please, Y/N, you can't be dead, you can't. I came back for you I-"
"Theo?" Enzo inquired, sitting on the floor next to his best friend, who was in fits of tears.
"He killed her, Enz. He killed her so- So I killed him. I had to."
"It's OK, Theo." Enzo replied, putting an arm around his friend's shoulder, and letting him cry.
The pair fell into a comfortable silence, with the sound of everyone in the castle talking and grieving the loss of friends and family. The two could have been down there with them, celebrating the demise of the people who made their lives hell.
But instead, all Theodore Nott could think about is what should've been.

Saw that some people were talking about Peter and Bucky being father and son, so i wanted to rec some fics about them being father and son and also them being good pals :))) i really recommend reading all of these. <333
(14/05/25, updated with a few more recs and the fics are properly linked)
Bucky being a father figure
taking my time but i don't know where This one might be them being good pals but i think of it as Bucky being a father figure
timshel (series) This is a series but the first one, is the one i rcommend the most, its about Peter growing up in Hydra with Bucky, warning for a lot of angst (espescially the first one), when i first read it, i read it all in 3 hours and cried throughout the entire thing XD
broken wing. This one is another Hydra Peter, it's post-civil war, it's mainly Steve being a parental figure to peter, but Bucky is still there, anyway its very good and steve and bucky are pining idiots (but who's surprised?)
Beautiful Ghosts This one is about Bucky living on his own pre-civil war, and he doesnt have any memory of anyone until one day he remebers, and its sad but has a happy ending :)
Bucky Barnes, the Good Dad (series) This one's a short series and so soo cute, its baby peter and dad Bucky
Astronomy In Reverse AMAZING. oml it's soooo goooddddd, it's pre-civil war (pretty fuckin angsty btw, but i mean, its bucky barnes and peter parker)
Stucky Shares Custody of Peter Parker (series) This series is so fucking good, the first fic is my fav, Bucky escapes from hydra with peter (who's 12 in this series im pretty sure), and gives him to steve, it's so good. Bucky also saves the Maximoff twins and they all become a family its so fucking cute, and obviously angsty, since y'know, hydra.
longing, rusted, seventeen, daybreak This one also has irondad but i still really enjoyed it (again, very angsty due to hydra shit)
5 Times Peter met the Winter Soldier SO GOOD. So cute, i loved it.
Bucky and peter being good pals
The Falcon & The Winter Soldier + Spider-Man This one is set during TFATWS (its basically peter tagging alongside Sam and Bucky, uninvited) and it has sambucky.
so this is christmas (war is over) This one is set after No Way Home where only Clint and Bucky remember peter
anger managment This one is sad & angsty, Peter was kidnapped by hydra for a while, and this is after he gets rescued, Bucky helps him recover
Baking at the Witching Hour Peter tries baking. Bucky is horrified. They bake together.
Peter & Bucky are Pals (series) Ohmylord, this series is so cute and amazing, its set in the same universe as owlet's Infinite Coffee & Protection Detail series (which i extremlyyyyy recommend oml its amazing and a classic) but you don't need to read that to understand this one, and this one has irondad but its so minor and Bucky is--in my opinion--much more of a father figure to peter and you can easily skip over the irondad parts if you want.
Based off of Peter & Bucky are Pals (series) Short series, Bucky and Peter are so cute, as always. Set in the same universe as the last one.
You can definitely find more but these are the ones i have bookmarked
I really hope you enjoy reading these! :))
