The further back the emotion is, the less "active" or however, it is. Love and sadness are often bullied into the metaphorical back seat. Though, Sadness doesn't skulk over to the front now and then.

I always thought fear and disgust were a duo right behind joy. If he's not being a smug show-off, then disgust is giving unwarranted judgement towards others or fear is worrying about the other league members/Keeping tabs on everything.

Anyway, unnecessary info dumping aside.

Sadness kinda just exists in this void being.. well, sad, all the time. If it's not crying over a broken mask or lack of decent sushi, then it's the looming thought that all the sacrifices will be for nothing and their efforts are pointless.

None of the other emotions know what to do with him... so they just slide him to the side with an awkward pat on his back. Fear tries to help, with no help from Disgust or Joy, but sometimes fear just makes it worse. Whoops.

Anger, on the other hand, always storms off to bully love at any given chance. And love, well, he's just existing in a world of his own fantasies.

On the flip side, Joy and Love are the "worst" combo of the emotions. To no surprise. The other emotions try everything to avoid them *ever* talking. Anger straight-up compressed love and threw him into the void once.
