Francoise noticed that the King smiled as he saw her. Knowing that she could make him smile felt good. He didn’t look too happy, but she wouldn’t ask about that. Hearing his words, madame de Maintenon could imagine that le Roi was talking about la madame de Montespan. She decided not to talk about her, but continue to listen to his laments. 

“Don’t give up on telling yourself that you are a good King, because you really are, Votre Majesté. Vous êtes le meilleur roi“ Francoise said, a wide spmile across her lips. She wanted to stay positive. She wanted to show the King that they could stay positive, even if things were not as easy as Francoise wished.

There were few people who made him smile, anymore. Philippe was gone to war, and Louis did not like to admit it, but Philippe occasionally made him smile too. But, it had been a rough time, but he truly believed that he had been saved by God, changed by Him and that she was important to his life.

“I have always been proud to be King. I am the best King that France had seen, but I am changed by what I have been through, people’s betrayal an I do not know how I am expected to just go on, like people don’t try to destroy me and what I build.”

She could not bear it anymore. it was pointless staying here, seeing them every day, knowing that you are not wanted or loved. She had made her decision a long time ago. Yes, her children will stay here but they will have a good life. They were after all - royals, the nieces and a nephew of the King himself, he would not let them now.  All she needed was a Papal Bull but she knew she would never receive it. She had to run away. She had to leave the country sooner than they would proclaim her a whore and shame her in public. Her plan was clear, run to Germany, convert back to Calvinism, divorce Philippe legally and live somewhere in the country.  But how was she going to do that? She didn`t want to admit it but surprisingly, her biggest ally might be the one who was once her biggest enemy. Madame de Maintenon, the newest Louis` discovery. She hated that woman with a passion but now, she had to forget about their quarrels. After all, maybe she wasn`t at all that and she could help. It was a bit step to come to her rooms and knock on her door but she did so, waiting for one of her ladies to open the door for her. ‘Madame’ she bowed as soon as she caught a glimpse of her.

"We almost done it...." Elizabeth said with a deep sigh. It was one of those days she secretly visited her cousin. "But this Simmel, I have no idea where he came from"

“Hmm…” A distracted hum, bordering on a sigh. He was sitting on his bed, arms wrapped around his legs with his chin resting on his bent knees, and was in no mood to be consoled. Elizabeth’s attempt to explain to the little earl why he could not go outside again was falling on deaf ears. 

The appearance of Lambert Simnel had probably been the most exciting thing to happen to Warwick since… since… oh, he could not remember… The very thought of someone looking just like him, sharing his name and taking up his cause, had been oh so exciting! He had longed to meet this ‘Other Edward’, to stand face-to-face with him, to see if they were as similar as his supporters claimed. King Henry had even let Edward outside for two whole days, travelling to St. Paul’s with his cousin of Lincoln! Everything had suddenly changed and everything was new and exciting and then everything was… suddenly back to normal again…

And he did not like it.

AU: Brittany being attacked by France. Liselote wants revenge because Henry didn`t help her family.   The coronation of Henry VII  and his marriage to the beautiful York`s daughter Elizabeth was supposed to be the end of the wars between the nobles. There was supposed to be peace, no more choosing sides, no more blood but not everyone was happy. Not everyone.  The Bretons were being attacked by the French and one of those who was among the attacked was the wife of the Duke of Brittany. The country that gave everything to the young king standing there, his crown heavy but firmly sat on his head. The King that could have helped  She watched him the whole time since she arrived from France and while it was just recently that the swords stopped clashing and people were celebrating the end of war, the guards were at ease and cared little about nobles coming from France.  She watched him being crowned and now she was there once again, watching him getting married. It was easy to fool them believing she was one of the nobles invited. Pretty dress, charming smile, delicate look of a noblewoman. What did they know? And while he was getting married to his beautiful Queen her family was dying because Henry forgot how they helped him once. Her father, her brothers, they were all dead and she was sure to show him what pain he caused her.

“I know you were good, Teddy.” Elizabeth said, looking into her cousin’s eyes. “I joined you at the Mass, didn’t I? So I know you were good.” If Elizabeth couldn’t get something, it was the reason why Henry kept feeling insecure about Teddy. “I kept telling the King that we could keep you with us at the Palace.” Thus, Henry could keep an eye on Teddy. Elizabeth has seen Teddy during the mass and knew that he behaved. And others knew as well. Yet, Henry decided to have him return to the Tower and she couldn’t say a word against it because she was just the Queen consort. Elizabeth moved towards the windows and opened them a bit more to let more air enter Teddy’s rooms. “I stole two books from my trunks. Just so you have something to read.” She handed Teddy the books she’s kept hidden under her hooded cloak. She knew too well that life in the tower wasn’t easy. She’s stayed with her family in sanctuary.  

He eyed the books with indifference, and perhaps even the smallest hint of disdain, mumbling a quiet ‘thank you’ as he picked one up in both hands and ran a finger along the embossed spine. He thumbed through its pages to inspect it properly, but no attention was paid to the actual words on the page. Books were fine for monks, or for those inclined to learn, but Edward was no scholar and the thought of reading bored him. It wasn’t much of a reward for a boy who - as Lizzie had confirmed - had been ever so good when he went outside. Setting the book to one side, he wrapped his arms around his legs again, curling up tightly into a ball.

He did not mean to be ungrateful - he would never want to be so rude to his cousin or anyone - but what joy could books bring when he’d been denied the chance to be free again, to see his family and this strange Simnel boy and everything else that London had to offer? He did not understand! Little hands balled themselves into fists now, and his eyes scrunched up in an attempt to hold back frustrated tears. “I want to stay... with you... at the palace, Lizzie,” he said between sniffs. “I can be like...” - another sniff - “like our cousin Lincoln and serve the king except I’ll be better because I won’t rebel and... and...” Anything else he might have said was cut off by a wave of choked sobs, as the little earl buried his tear-stained face into his knees.

i think she is shouting at some soldiers before a battle against Perkin’s men?? it’s silly yeah, but i can’t wait to see her embracing completely her Tudor Queen status and to fully support her children’ & husband’s legacy :)

Sometimes, Louis let things get to him. He let things get to him more than just sometimes. Versailles was not always the happiness that he had envisioned when he had decided to make it more grand.  Things had been harder. He didn’t know he could trust. Hearing the voice, he turned around and that’s when he saw her and smiled. 

“I tell myself many things at night, more so, since I have been spending less time with women who do nothing but try to destroy me. So yes, I do tell myself that I am a good King and that no one will ever be able to take me down, because I cannot let anyone else get that close, not again.

Alright, so like I said previously, I am not the one to just make call out post on people. But, this has gone too far to the point I feel that people needs to know that this behaviour is strictly UNACCEPTABLE. Also, I wasn’t going to make a call-out post UNTIL this lovely person I know decided to make one first. So, two can play that game.

About two months ago, I befriended this account whitexprincess (now @richardcfyork). I was first flirting with the idea of making a medieval group rp with my fellow friends who aren’t part of the indie community. It came to my knowledge that they really wanted to ship with me. So, I am just like sure? I guess I’m down. The person ended up creating Richard purely for our ship to sort of work out. And it did for the most part! But then all this weird and uncomfortable behaviour started.

I live a busy life. I go to school full time, I work full time. Some days I am able to be online whilst other days it’s impossible. Give me a break. richardcfyork mun couldn’t accept that and constantly approached the matter. Now, we talked EVERY DAY. So, this conversation shouldn’t have been a thing but it was. And another… I ignored it at first, even though I constantly mentioned I didn’t appreciate the person always going off on me because I wasn’t the first to message first. I’m sorry, but I’m a busy lady.

Not only did they pester me about messaging, they were actually annoyed that I was shipping with other people! Unfortunately, I do not have screenshots of that convo due to the mun blocking me and I can no longer retrieve further messages from months ago. But here is other evidence from other roleplay blogs that has experienced the same behaviour. Anyways, I grew uncomfortable rping with the person, who I decided to just ghost them. I stopped replying to our threads and the person entirely. Until today. Learning today what happened, Richard mun had the audacity to refollow me and casually said hi to me. Like no go away. Anyways, I wasn’t going to be chill with what was going on because later on, he accused Ella of being me? For reasons I am still unsure about. We’re from two different states, with different writing styles, and blog styles/graphics. They kept asking for me to send proof that I wasn’t Ella, and pretty much literally said “Bye Felicia”…

@ladycatherinegordon, a fellow friend and someone that approached to me privately concerning of Richard mun’s behaviour. The person treated her the same. Somehow, their conflict involved another person, Lydia (williamoforange), whom Ella (who plays Catherine) was plotting to ship with William (Lydia). Now, from here on, it’s in her words instead of mine.

“Richard mun couldn’t take it that Ella wanted to ship with Lydia and went on a whole other account to express that. Richard became noticeably jealous when William popped up, consistently tagging me in things that he never had before. I was constantly being messaged, but I didn’t always have the time to reply. It was becoming totally overwhelming and suffocating. I would ask Richard when I first made the blog if they wanted an OTP thread or things of that nature, and I would be denied or ignored. I’m not exclusive with one so I thought it would be fine if I had a main OTP. Apparently not.

When I posted that William would be my main ship, Richard mun messaged me to ask why. She got very defensive about it, even when I assured them it would not change our own ship. Today as I confronted Richard mun about playing two blogs and trying to play friends against each other, they lied and tried to manipulate me into staying on to being their friend after everything they had done. Yes, I approached verbundet because it was getting far out of hand, but I in no way ‘started a war.’ I only wanted the truth and to know why they were constantly on my blog. After I blocked them for it to end, they attempted to follow my sideblogs and continued to try and message me.

On William’s blog, Lydia was asked by rosesxmischief (also Richard mun) for a thread. Before the blog was even set up, Richard mun offered to create an OC just to be william’s mistress. Lydia politely declined, but roses was insistent. When they plotted a modern thread, roses turned it into a ship thread almost immediately with a new character. A few days later, Richard mun messaged William and asked if they were ready to ship Elizabeth Villiers / William. Lydia politely declined but Richard mun continued to abuse her, asking her sexual orientation and went on to imply Lydia was gay and only wanted to ship with Catherine because of the mun (Ella). And was just constantly pushing and accusing them of that just because we're two girls who wanted to ship together. Unfortunately there aren’t many screenshots of this, but I was there sitting beside Lydia as she cried. Yes, I was the one who had the conversation about why Lydia did not want to have any other ships, but she was telling me what to say, as she was too upset to type.”
