Whisper sat in front of a fire, poking it with a stick to keep the flame going. The air filling with the smell of stew as some odd creatures floated around. One was currently floating over a hedgehog, keeping an eye on him. The wolf had saw him crash land on this planet, making a large crater in the process. It took some effort to drag him out, though she did and bandaged his wounds. Now it was only a matter of how fast he could recover.

"Oh, that's a good question.. it's been a while.. the last outing I had was with Belle, Jewel, and Amy to the Nature Park/Camp."

A slight rustle amongst the wind as the person walked. A spy for Eggman. Someone looking to turn in information for the evil master mind.

They would only seeing the light reflecting of a blade before the wind would rush past them as she moved. The spy acted fast, grabbing her by the wrist and tossing her into a wall. A gasp escaped her followed by a growl as the spy pinned her, hands above her head.

The spy narrowed their eyes. She only glared back. But remained calm. The spy kept her hands pinned with one hand while the other grasped her chin.

"You made a mistake, sweetheart."

She tilted her head, fluttering her eyelashes a tad. "Did I now? Silly me." she purred.

Before swiftly kneeing the other in the gut. The spy gasped and before they knew it, Whisper had grabbed them by the arm and completely flipped them over.

Before they could get up, she placed her hand on their chest. Hard. Forcing them to stay down before straddling them.

Blade to their throat.

"Doesn't feel too good to be on the other end, does it now?" she narrowed her eyes before leaning her head down. "Now."

"I am gonna need that info you stole. Please and thank you. Sweetheart."

Sadan didn't really mind Tangle's enthusiasm. He chuckled at the Lemur's musings and how ironically accurate they were to his actual life. He's not as interested in the facetious feline, as it seems obvious how he's lying, but he will leave that to Reyna to expose.

"Tis quite alright, it's actually amusing. My life has certainly sounded like a fairy tale one would tell their children. Beset by assassins since my birth, a target of the House of Shadows, my existence seems to be fantastical and story-like. And as to romance, well, I seem to be quite blessed in that regard." He replies.

Reyna meanwhile is just disappointed in how bad these lies are. She can tell the main reason Lanolin buys them is she has a soft spot for Duo. He hasn't even acted half as nervous as the sheep describes him. Lanolin has acted more nervous than him, so she's thinking something is up. Plus, that bit about assuming things in regards to the bathroom makes...no sense.

"All the same compared to what? Did you actually go into the bathroom here? Because it has those stalls for shorter folks pretty front and center. So, I'm not sure why you'd think everything was larger than you, when those stalls exist." She asks him. She is not letting up on this, as she knows he didn't go into it.

The Felines tail swayed from side to side as he watched the two reptiles. He already considered them both to be high threat level targets. Each on there own were more then he was willing to deal with but together he didn't like his odds. This magick they had seemed ready to sus out his play at any moment. It didn't help that Whisper was watching him like a Hawk. He'd had his own agenda in this library and he didn't intend to lose the game here and now of all places.

" You do? Oh gosh i guess i just assumed they were all the same--- i was a bit overwhelmed by it all if i'm honest. this is all... a bit beyond what i am use to... Giant robots and, super powered Tenrecs were one thing... but other worlds... golly gee, i never considered it...its alot you know? "

Lanolin just put a hand on the Felines shoulder comfortingly as she seemed to accept the excuse without much thought. She knew Duo had been through alot in his life, and then the thrashing by Whisper probably didn't help. Now being drug into this by Tangle? It was a wonder he wasn't in full panic mode.

" It's ok Duo we'll be heading back in a moment, i think we have enough to research for now. Plus i'm sure Jewel wouldn't want us away to long... who knows when Eggman will show again "

" house of war? AH like the books i use to read! house against house! the drama! the in fighting! the romance! "

Tangle had a really strange idea of what a house of war did it seemed! or maybe she was reading to many of those romance novels! either way she clearly was fascinated by the idea!

" and... the cool martial arts moves... ah--- sorry just remembering a good book i read as a kid... Throne of Kings i think it was called, good times for young me..."

" Tangle... i--- ah, never mind, lets just check these out and report back to Jewel. I think we can attest to the validity of Reyna's claims... plus we've a good deal of useful data for the research teams. "

She turned to Sadan and looked sympathetic and a little ashamed of Tangle's rambling!

Yet the Entire time Whisper had remained just across the room in her chair. Book in paw, watching Duo intently. She didn't react to his little claim or dispute it as she knew Lanolin would come to his defense. She didn't yet trust herself not to make a foolish claim like before--- best to remain calm till she had more proof or her instincts proved right.

Whisper simply remain patient, yet it was clearly that Eimi had been doing something prior to her intrusion given the way she seemd to be trying to gather herself. The hedgehog's quills not as orderly and neat as normal, winded breath, and the clear use of a desk to support herself. Then gears start turning. 'Was she-' The wolfs thoughts stopped short upon being asked how she was and how they can help her.

"I am, fine. I merely wished to seek your advice on something, though if I caught you at a bad time it can wait." Whisper wasn't sure just what Eimi was doing, though it was clear as day they were worn out. Maybe there were working out? Of course, the wolf was simply over thinking things before.

"It sounds like we could use some nicknames, and I myself in a master at coming up with awesome nicknames." Tangle was sure she could come up with something cool though also easy to remember. "Alright, I'm gonna go full brainstorm mode. Just hang on." There were a lot of people so she was gonna have to really think about it.

Oh dear, Whisper knew there was no stopping Tangle when she got an idea in her head. The wolf isn't a fan of nicknames, not anymore at least, though if it was Tangle then she could deal with it. The scout was still on edge having another Surge and Kitsunami in their zone. At least they were going to move on as soon as they could.

"Mmm...maybe. Can I say though, I fucking hate this whole 'other Tangles' and 'other Surges' BS? Like, fucking shit, at some point I'm gonna know 3 different Tangles or something, determining which is which is gonna be so annoying." She says, her attention being drawn to that wording. Why are there so many other versions of herself and others?! It just makes everything so confusing and annoying!

"I personally find it a bit funny. Despite how similar we might be, there's also a lot of differences. Sometimes a single thing in your life can have such a wide cascading effect." Kit says. For them, that was meeting Reyna.

"I'm sure it'll be fine as I've got several gallons of milk for each of us." Tangle was able to do the one chip challenge for nearly three hours before breaking even if it was complete pain and suffering. "Alright, on the count of three. One... Two... Three!" The lemur would eat the entire pepper in one bite.

"Ten rings Angela breaks first," Whisper would say to her counterpart. Was she tempted to try and stop Tangle. Of course, though the wolf knew once the lemur made up her mind there was no stopping her.
