CONFLICT

Nothing was ever going to get through to her, was it? With a sigh, he sat back on the edge of the bed, curling his fingers into the blankets as he tried to force himself to calm back down again. Yeah, he was pathetic - he knew that, he'd been told that his entire life, but to hear it from Prudence was a rather harsh blow to accept. "...if I'm that pathetic, then why you so determined to keep me here?", he frowned a little, slowly raising his head to watch the woman that stood in front of the only darn exit of this dumb room, "You know none of this was ever needed. She knew I'd always come back, no matter the arguments we sometimes got into...yet your keeping me locked up like some pet".

As much as he wasn't about to go against the orders given to him, there was still that annoyance festering around his form as he continued to search the streets for any signs of where Garth had even been. It was almost as though he'd just vanished - but this was the last place his tracker had went off, and now he stood there holding his phone in one hand, scrolling through the contents as he tried to think on what he was going to report back to the boss. Did he really just run and stay away this time? It would kind of make sense, even if it was rather pointless. Mori would have his son dragged back one way or another. "...who is this?", he frowned as he read a few messages from a name he'd never heard of before, which was rather impressive given how much he stalked Garth's activities these days. Glorified babysitter...

Frowning, he hit call on the name, listening as the phone ran out on the other end. Maybe this Prudence might know at least something that Chuuya didn't.

He'd known this was going to be a bit of a gamble, that even if she left the house, she wouldn't have gone too far - but to think he'd barely made it out the room - it'd taken longer than he'd anticipated to pick the locks, and now here he was, stuck between freedom and a mad woman...this type of situation happened way too often in his life...though the difference here was, he wasn't some hostage. He wasn't being used as some pawn against his father - she simply didn't want him to leave, and he had no idea how to counter that.

"Their just a child! How can you be so jealous over a child?". How did anything of this situation make sense? A part of him wish he'd never mentioned them - but he had thought that she might have shown some type of softness knowing that there was a child out there that needed aid...even if said child was quite capable of looking after themselves. His desire to get back to their side wasn't false - he'd made a promise long ago to them that he'd always be there...yet how long had be even been stuck here for?

He'd taken a small step back when the vase had been knocked over, glancing down at the sharp porcelain. He didn't want to harm her, but he was also quite aware that she wasn't a normal human, and he was getting close to desperation here. She'd already taken away anything else he could use as a weapon, including his bells, at least with something sharp -

He quickly moved and grabbed the biggest shard he could find, barely flinching as it cut into the palm of his hand, glaring towards Prudence as she continued to speak. He had no idea what was running through her mind, but that smile, that look - it was more than enough to let him know he didn't want to find out the meaning behind her words. "Don't come anywhere near me! I'm leaving...even if I have to cut you down first"

She's seething with anger, rage, and hate. Short legs stand in the door way between her living room and the hall, blocking her precious Garth from leaving. That's right, he wants to go home again and leave her for that Yumeno. Just the thought of them together makes her blood boil.

A pale hand clenches into a fist, as icy blue eyes blaze with anger. "Yumeno, Yumeno, Yumeno! It's always about your precious Yumeno, isn't it? How you desperately want to get back home to them?!" Prudence shouts angerly. She takes a step forward, shoving a nearby vase onto the floor in a clatter of shattered porcelain.

The woman steps over the broken pieces of vase, heading towards the man of her affections. "You don't need them! Why do you need to be with that pathetic Yumeno when you could be with me forever?!" she roars. A hand raises into the air, as a twisted thought pops into her head. She could just, erase all thoughts and memories of Yumeno. Then, Garth would be all alone in this world, with only her to turn to for comfort. Of course, it's not an ideal situation, but if it works, they could spend more time together.

A wicked grin spreads across her lips. "But don't worry darling, when I'm through with you, you won't ever have to worry about Yumeno again." She giggles at her own comment. The thought of Garth only needing to rely on her, making her feel a hint of joy amongst that anger and rage.

CONFLICT

That was just making things worse. He'd been wheezing for a few hours now but had been doing all he could to try and prevent an attack from happening - but without his medication, this was likely to have happened sooner or later - and he was currently too winded to try and explain to Prudence the reason as to why he was suddenly clutching so hard to his chest, simply just trying to catch enough of the musky air to fill his lungs. At the panic in her voice, as well as the anger, all he could really do was glare towards her, a shaky hand reaching out to grab the cup of water, quickly drowning the contents, even if most ended up spilling down his neck - the coolness still helped to at least ease some of the panic that had threatened to take over. Ironic that it was water of all things making him feel a little better.

"A-asthma", he managed to cough out, "Need....need medicine...".

How in the heck had he ended up in this situation - and how was he supposed to get out from it? He'd tried to fight back, to scratch and bite at the woman that seemed so insistent in 'helping' him by taking him into her home like this - when all he'd been trying to do was hide until this dumb curse wore off! Why he changed easier whenever he was ill he didn't quite know. It was dumb...and now he had this to deal with.

She'd dried him off and had set him on the couch, finally giving him the chance to look around the room. All he needed was an opened door or even a window!
