lowkey obsessed with the idea of ámbar being so impressed with ana and now actually so self-aware of all the legal issues she might come face-to-face with in the future (since she wants to keep managing the jam & roller and maybe expand it by making it a chain) that she decides that she wants to follow her footsteps and become a lawyer, while nina becomes so popular as felicityfornow that the fab&chic asks her for help (at first with small stuff like captions for their posts and maybe an interview) but after that they decide to "get some free clout out of her" by analysing felicity's style or something similar (since nobody ever saw felicity in the flesh, except for them [kinda] since they interviewed her on a videocall) and people become so obsessed with it that they try to convince felicity to write an become part of the fab&chic (while still doing things that align with her work tho) as a way to collaborate.
Since she doesn't feel like "she's good with fashion or anything adjacent to it" she tries to kindly rejects the idea but they don't give up and it kinda escalate to the point in which she only agrees to get over with it.
The only alteration is that she can and has to decide what she wants to do for this collaboration and they can reject her ideas until they agree on something together but they can't force her to do anything, they agree and she chooses to write an article (i haven't yet decided on what specifically)
Nina does what she does best. Uses the informations she knows through her own lectures, researches and also tries to remember all of jim and yam's and her mother's ramblings about sewing (which is something she's not that bad at, even tho she doesn't actively uses this skill or make any clother, just small repairs when she needs to) and just uses her words to talk about it openly and honestly with her own point of view.
And it fucking works.
It works way too well.
Fab&Chic's fans loves it and keep sharing it, it becomes so viral that she actually has now a small spot on their blog for her articles.
A few months later other media outlets about mode and fashion reach out (both to her and the fab&chic) to ask for an appointment to talk about hypothetical collaboration, send some products for them to try and review or to congratulate her for her "debut" in the fashion world.
1 year and a half/2 years later she's suddently not only a writer and a poet but a rookie fashion editor on the side (at least for her, because it doesn't matter how much she loves and enjoys being a fashion critic, writing in general will always be her first love)
#another au i thought of and i'm kind of obsessed with (even tho i haven't really polished it and it's still a blurb)#in this au nina never revealed that she's felicity to anyone (except luna and simón ofc)#while about ámbar and nina...#them kinda switching their paths by following something that is totally opposite to what they “were supposed to follow”#but then fitting right in and being happy like this instead of doing what everyone expected them to do#them evolving with their story#kind of#ig#the idea of nina - delfì and jazmín actually working together in the future sounds really interesting lol#+ luna for sure commissioned jim and yam a bunch of costumes she's gonna use for her competition and they asked nina to help#both because of her knowledge and because “the more they are the better” 😭 <3#ámbina

Heya!! I would really really love a lil wholesome writing abt my fav Soy Luna ship! Being Ámber and Nina (Ambina as I call em) (you can prolly guess who this is haha). But yea i'd love a lil piece where Ámbar asks Nina to stake with her kinda sheepishly and then while they're staking maybe Ámbar tries to impress her with a trick but ends up slipping and Nina catches her and they're both like 😳 honestly the details are up to you!! I'll love it no matter what and I'll prolly draw it and yea.
The whole team was around the rink, Nina was leaning against the rail and chatting with Luna, who was skating back and forth in front of her, Jazmin was filming Delfi in the corner as she talked about whoever their next video was about, Gastón and Matteo were practicing some moves for the new coreography, so were Jim and Yam, Simón and the guys were practing one of their songs on the bleachers, and then Ámbar came in
“Hey everyone, I’m gonna close up soon, so I figured I let you guys know so you can cool down and put your stuff away before leaving”
Upon hearing the announcement, everyone who was in the rink started their cool off exercises, while the band just walked out, issuing general goodbyes as they left, being followed by the rest of the crew as they finished their workouts, leaving Ámbar herself - who was collecting equipment around the rink and general objects that were left behind by other people who regular come to Jam & Roller - and Nina, who was struggling to fit the book she had brought back into her bag and had told Luna to go on without her
“Hey Nina” Ámbar calls out, making the other girl lift her head, a puzzled expression on her face, wondering what the blonde might ask of her
“I was watching the practice and I noticed you weren’t doing the routine with the rest, why is that?” She questioned
“Oh, I guess I’m still insecure about my skating skills and showing them in front of the others, but I practice a lot by myself and with Luna!” She so didn’t want to give the other girl the impression that she was slacking off! Because that was the person who could have her access card revoked! And also other reasons she was definitely not ready to think about yet
“Of course, I have no doubt of your dedication, Nina” as they talked, Ámbar had walked up to the spot the brunette was standing by the bleachers, and she laid a hand on the younger girl’s shoulder when she said that “If you have a minute, I’d like to over the routine with you?”
“Sure! Yeah, we can totally do that!” she stammers, averting her gaze and noticing her skates were untied, so she focused on that
“Cool, you tie your skates and meet me out there” she rolled back into the rink, getting into position and being joined by her companion shortly after
They performed the coreography very well, until the very end, when Ámbar was doing a spin that was part of the last step and slipped, which was very odd for the near-professional skater, causing Nina’s instincts to make her race towards the young woman and catch her by the hips, for a moment they both stood there, frozen, staring into each other’s wide eyes, until Ámbar, whose knees were already weak from being on her feet all day and trembled even harder from how nervous she suddenly was, fell on her butt, breaking the trance they were both on and making her grumble “I told everyone a million times to stop bringing water bottles in the rink!” as Nina offered her hand and helped her up
“Well, that was humiliating” the older girl glowered
“Nonsense, I made a fool of myself in infinitively worse ways on this rink, come on, let’s get you out of those wet skates and I’ll help you close up”
And off they went, unaware that they were starting something beautiful

Sat and thought ”would the DCLA shows work in Sweden?”
And, yes: The general premises I think would be here, but there would be some factors that has to be changed.
Violetta moving around a bunch as a kid would work, but here’s the thing: Homeschooling is illegal in Sweden.
Ok, maybe ”illegal” is not the right word, but to be homeschooled you need to do a LOT of work to even be considered. You need a very special reason, for example, you have special needs and can’t work in a normal classroom. And even then, there’s schools specialized for that, and there’s an option to start schools that have smaller groups of students in the first place.
It’s also that, when starting high school, you choose a certain programme with alignments what you wanna focus on. Science, social studies, languages, etc. There is ofc also performing arts high schools. Although, in difference to the Studio, these schools still have normal subjects like math, languages and stuff. But, On Beat Studio is some college-high school hybrid that doesn’t make sense anyway.
Now, going to high school is not even mandatory, although nowadays, you’re kinda screwed if you don’t go to high school as the job opportunities are way fewer. So, it could be that Germán when they move to Sweden is like ”well high school is not mandatory, so you can just have private tutors for these final years <3” and then find a loophole with the homeschooling and get away with it. In that case, Violetta could sneakily get away and go to a performing arts school and essentially everything would be the same. Youmix is ofc unrealistic that it would happen, but wouldn’t that be unrealistic everywhere? 😉
With Soy Luna, I wanna say right off the bat: Yes, there are roller skate rinks, but roller skating outside will only work during some specific months. This is because we are a country that has snow and ice, which means there is gravel on the ground for half of the years. It’s also more common to have figure skating on ice here (and I have heard that SL originally was supposed to be about ice skating but it got too complicated). I have googled in the past that Sweden has roller derbys, so if they have figure skating on roller skates then maybe some little rink club arranges that too. I honestly think SL makes roller skating seem like a bigger sport than it actually is (although someone in South America is ofc allowed to correct me on that). I’m just saying, I think more of the skating will happen inside if this takes in Sweden, as if it’s outside then it needs to literally be summer for that to be possible.
Blake will also be a little different. First off: School uniforms are not a thing. We don’t have private schools like that (literally, private schools are still free, they just don’t have to follow the normal school corriculum like public schools do). But we of course have schools that are more prestigous and ”snobby”. And in high school, that is about what programmes you have chosen. Most schools have several programmes, and while you’re mostly with your own class taking the mandatory classes for the specific programme, there’s also optional classes like photography and drama that mixes classes and even different grades (just like we saw in S1 of the show). I think Ámbar, Jazmin, Delfi, Matteo and Gastón go the economy programme. Ramiro does not really feel like an economy guy, I’m picturing him more of a humanitary or social programmes guy. Luna, Nina, Jim and Yam def go the humanitary programme. This programme has alignments of culture and language (i think all four lean more into culture). Also, it’s only mandatory to take maths for one year, which I think Luna, Jim and Yam appreciate a lot (although, you can take a higher level math as an optional class if you want to, it gives credits for University, and I think Nina def took optional higher level math classes the other years). The reason I also picked this for them is because I myself took the humanitary programme in high school and the four girls reminds me a lot of my own friendgroup back then (my friend even legit had a similar situation happen to her like Nina with Eric i’m not kidding).
Now, the adoption plot is a little complicated here. In Sweden, adoption from inside the country is extremly hard. We don’t really have your standard orphanages anymore where people just come and adopt a child (last one like that was in the 1960s). Adoption is also extremely hard because the government thinks so much about ”the biological parents”. Most adoptions done here happens overseas… So, the Sol plot is a bit complicated. Roberto can’t really just drop her off at an orphanage. He’d either have to drop her off at a hospital and the adoption goes from there (often if adoption happens in Sweden nowadays, it’s if someone gives up their child at birth. Sol is not left at the hospital at birth, but idk). He could have also left the country again and put her in an orphanage overseas. It is possible that he actually went with her to Mexico and put her in an orphanage there, and then Monica and Miguel were a couple from Sweden adopting her from Mexico, or they already lived in Mexico and adopted her and then moved to Sweden. I think they are in Sweden before they get the opportunity to work for Sharon, as they’d need to speak the same language.
Now, there is not several countries in which you speak swedish, like you speak spanish in LA. No, you speak swedish in Sweden (and parts of Finland). So, instead of having different accents from different countries, you have different accents from different parts of the country. And I have decided that Luna and Simón live in Gothenburg. This is because there are beaches there, and also because when I think of a swedish equivalent of Simón I think of someone who speaks in a west coast/gothenburg accent. Then Sharon comes and asks the Valente family to come work for her in Stockholm, and so they move there. The rest of the plot of SL would work out pretty similarly lol.
Bia is the one that needs to be changed the least, if barely at all. The only thing really to change is that Moondust were roadtripping to Norway or Denmark or Finland instead of Brazil. At first I thought Bia could be half swedish half norwegian or half swedish half finnish. But actually? She can still be half brazilian, it would not really change super much.
Also, Fundom is a space they go to on their free time. Since we don’t see the Bia characters go to school, nothing about that needs changing. Fundom could still very much exist in Sweden and have teens and young adults work and hang around there. The plot would still work out perfectly!

i've already started thinking about it and i must write it down SO
Here is my take on what happens after the s3 finale:
The roller team continue to pursue professional rollerskating events amongst their busy schedules. The next year, Nina leaves to study literature in Oxford (ehehehe), breaking up with Eric, and Jim and Yam start at their college. Luna stays at home with her family and helps Ámbar run the Jam & Roller while she trains for various skating opportunities. Matteo pursues his career as a soloist and is successful, and eventually brings Luna on his first tour. Simón and Pedro visit Nico in New York and they reunite the band, and with help from Matteo's new contacts they get a record deal and go on tours too. Luna gathers the roller team as often as she can, even if it's just for one performance at the Roller, she always makes sure they train and skate together as often as they can.
In the further future, Luna is a full time professional skater and still lives in the mansion with her family and Matteo who is successful in his career as a soloist and has multiple songs with his friends but many with Luna. Ámbar and Simón move to Cancun (I've seen people say that before and I love it) and they of course get married there. Ámbar opens another Jam & Roller there and coaches a rollerskating team. Simón continues his music career with the roller band. Jim and Yam spend a few years pursuing separate careers but ultimately become a duo. Ramiro also becomes a full time professional skater and has actually competed several times against Luna. Nina returns after she has finished college and would you look at that she's engaged to Gastón oh what a surprise! Delfi and Pedro stay together, they have rough patches from a lot of long distance when Pedro is on tour with the band but they work it out. Jazmín continues with her channel and works alongside all of her friends covering everything in their careers (and personal lives of course), travelling with them all wherever they go keeping the world in touch with the roller team.
Eventually, everyone finds the time to return to where they started and they make the collective decision to go on one huge tour as the roller team before leaving it in the past, but they all stay friends.
There are things I would do differently during the seasons but this is all post-canon instead of changing anything that happens

My Ámbina lore/story !!
QUICK DISCLAIMER/CONFESSION: well, I might as well admit this now....i've never watched Soy Luna. IM A POSER IN THIS FANDOM- Im really interested in the characters, but I cannot stand reading subtitles for long periods of time. So watching it myself is off the table. I've skimmed through episodes and read up on wiki's to get the gist of plot points and see my girls, but thats about it. So keep in mind if some of my story contradicts events of the show, I either am ignoring them or do not know about them. Okay. Now that thats out of the way, heres my own personal story of Ámbar and Nina: First off, I love to think that Ámbar and Nina were friends as kids. That they met at Girl Scouts, and then got to know each other better at school. They become pretty good friends, but eventually Sharon makes Ámbar cut off their friendship, as the kind of person Nina is, isn't the kind she wants the "Benson name" to associate with. Ámbar's household is not a good one. We all know this. She is basically verbally and psychologically abused by her godmother, and I feel so much of how she acts in general is because of this. I like to think that Ámbar came out to her godmother as a lesbian when she was younger but her Godmother shut it down immediately. Telling her that all the other women in their family got married to rich good looking men and that she must do the same. She tells Ámbar time and time again that what she feels is wrong, and she better start liking the right thing. She dates guys just to appease her Godmother, and in fear of what her friends would think if she were honest with her true feelings. So cut to when the show starts, we see Ámbar and her friends picking on Luna and by association, Nina as well. And ofc Ámbar and Nina knew each other before the show even starts, and we see Ámbar being mean to Nina right off the bat. Literally the first scene where they interact although indirectly. In my story, Ámbar has always kinda found Nina pretty, but picked on her to push her emotions away, trying to trick herself into hating her. But she can't always be 100% with it. I notice in scenes they share, when her friends pick on Nina, she ALWAYS shuts them up and makes them apologize, not wanting Nina to be treated unfairly. (ik a lot of this is acting for her schemes but in my heart a part of it is also genuine). This goes on for a long time. While this is happening, Nina posts online under her persona named 'Felicity', and Ámbar starts to kinda fall for her. Her friends hate her because she often picks on the kind of clothes they wear, but Ámbar likes her honesty and boldness. Plus, it takes her mind off of Nina. Maybe she's finally moving away from that stupid crush...well, cut to sometime later when one day Nina preforms as Felicity, and takes off the wig she's wearing, revealing Felicity and Nina to be one in the same. Ámbar sees it all, realizing she's still been liking Nina this whole time. Shes right back at square one. Past this point, they're kinda neutral with each other. Lowkey trying to be kind to each other and flirting. But once S3 starts with her Godmother now out of the picture, maybe Ámbar can finally admit her feelings. Along with this, Nina- who has also kinda liked Ámbar all along- falls even harder once she see's this her new dark aesthetic. Soon, the two of them build up a friendship through more awkward attempts at kindness and flirting. Nina begins to leave Ámbar secret love messages, and Ámbar doesn't really pay them much mind, assuming its just from another guy. Until it all comes to a head, and the admirer asks Ámbar to meet them at the rink, where they'll reveal their identity. She goes, just to let the 'guy' down easy, only to find out it was Nina all along. wow that was a lot of text haha. Anyway if u read all that, thanks for sticking around!

What are your opinions on all of the main couples in SL?
LMAO, it took me so long to answer this ask, but I just have so mant thoughts. I'm not sure if the question is about endgame couples, so I'll just talk about whatever I want.
Putting this under a cut because I'm not a monster.
Lutteo is... fine. I don't hate them, but I also don't like them. Leaving aside my own headcanons for the characters, they just don't work for most of the show. Matteo in seasons 1 and 2 is a complete asshole who doesn't deserve Luna. Just to list some of the shit he does: flirts with her while he's still with Ámbar, kisses her without her consent, sometimes borderline harasses her, is a dick to her best friend, prioritizes his career over their relationship even when he ends up hurting her, never listens to her perspective and assumes all of her criticism is in bad faith. I especially can't get behind the s2 storyline, where Luna is incredibly upset by Matteo's behavior—saying he doesn't have a girlfriend during an interview and staging PR relationships, or insulting Simón live—, but he brushes it all off with the excuse that it's essential to his career and tells her she's envious of his success. And he's somehow surprised that Luna would defend her childhood best friend when her boyfriend publicly humiliates him online?
That being said, when Matteo finally becomes a decent person in s3, I think they mostly work as a couple (still don't ship them). At that point, though, does it really matter? I'm not going to forget the first two seasons. If Luna absolutely needed to end up with somebody, because amatonormativity, she deserved someone better.
Lumón is objectively the best Luna ship. They're childhood best friends and know and take care of each other like nobody else. Still, when I see such an adorable m/f friendship, I grab onto it and would rather it stayed platonic, because there's enough romance in medias.
Simbar gives me life. I'm honestly obsessed and, as I've already said, they're one of my OTPs and the reason why I started watching Soy Luna. Ámbar and Simón are characters I already love on their own and they complement each other so well. They have a great premise (dating-someone-for-a-revenge-plan trope, my beloved <3), a believable enemies to friends to lovers arc (also a favorite trope of mine), fluffy banter, delicious angst and tension, domestic scenes to balance it out, great chemistry, and the actors work their asses off in emotional scenes. They communicate, support and respect each other like a healthy couple would do. Simón is the first person to see the good in Ámbar and push her to be the better version of herself. Ámbar also challenges Simón and his perspective. While a bit dramatized for narrative purpose (don't date people to fix them), that's what a relationship should do (says the aro who's never even had a date in her life).
Gastina may not be endgame, but they are in my heart. They're adorable, have excellent chemistry, and them bonding over shared interests is both realistic and cute. While cliché, I like the FelicityForNow plotline and I think it gave Gastina a solid basis that makes it impossible not to root for them. Forever mad about the route s3 took, especially because it didn't have to? They had Gastón's actor available for a couple scenes, they could've filmed the finale with him or just slapped a clip of him onto a tablet screen, then keep his and Nina's relationship going through texts, it really wasn't that hard. To me Nina goes to college in Oxford and they get back together again, I will accept no other option.
Pelfi is such a sweet ship! It's a bit of a Simbar 1.0, in the sense that Pedro formed a genuine friendship with Delfi and helped her become a better version of herself. Even if Delfi back pedaling in s2 was random and made their relationship arc a bit weird, narratively speaking, I always enjoy these two. They're such cuties and them staring at each other with heart eyes in s3 >>>
Yamiro is considered a main couple, I guess? They can be cute, but I'm not particularly fond of either Yam or Ramiro and I also headcanon them both as gay, not to mention they hurt each other and argue a bit too much for my taste.
Thanks for the ask, I hope I interpreted the question correctly!

I decided to make 8 SL characters in the Sims 2 and make them all go to University together. Why the Sims 2? Because it’s funnier that way. Though, I have no cc, so they don’t look THAT appealing, but <3 it’s gonna be fun anyway
So I created
Ámbar
Gastón
Matteo
Simón
Jim
Yam
Luna
And Nina
Now, I am just gonna let them roam free. None of them have chosen majors yet, and we’ll see what I make them choose. But here’s a document of what happened:
Matteo wanted to hug Simón, but he was always busy talking to Ámbar
Luna and Nina tried multiple attempts to talk to Yam but she and Jim were busy talking on the floor
Then, in the middle of this chaos, Luna and Nina decided to have a pillow fight
Then Luna and Nina went to watch TV. Luna put on a kids movie.
Ámbar and Simón practically spent all time together. They threw ball outside, they ate together in the cafeteria and just only talked to each other
I also learned that Ámbar REALLY likes to throw balls and Luna REALLY likes pillow fights. Here is Luna having a pillow fight with Matteo as Ámbar throws a ball with Nina
Gastón farted on Yam when she ate food >:( And then he laughed at Matteo, so maybe he was supposed to fart on him. Feels very ooc for him to purposely fart on Yam but if it was meant to be at Matteo then it feels more like something he’d do.
Yam was dancing as Luna was writing an essay. Which both feels ooc but also like it would happen?? Like I can see both of them dance while someone does school work.
OH and then Jim joined in!
This is incredibly funny for no reason at all
But then!! Luna joined in!
See now they are all acting exactly in character how great
Nina, Gastón and Matteo had an interesting conversation in the common room
The rest of the night was spent getting everyone to sleep - which was harder, because everyone wanted to go to sleep in a room that was not theirs. So, my only control today was making everyone go sleep in the correct room.
While everyone else went to sleep, Gastón and Matteo stayed up watching a movie about werewolves
Jim also had a wish to buy a bird cage. So I bought one. I also bought a guitar for Simón. He didn’t wish for one, but I bought it for him anyway.
And that was basically all that happened! I will continue to play with this in the future. There’s lots of things to do, like having them choose majors. I am gonna wait a bit, to see if they have any wishes of their own for majors, but there’s also some I think is perfect for specific characters.
I will mostly let them roam free, but occasionally I will control it. I am thinking of making them visit a roller skate place. I am also thinking of getting some romantic relationships. If there’s any relationship in particular you want to see, feel free to tell me!
Also, if you have any questions about this, feel free to tell me!

Do you have any sexuality headcanons for DCLA characters?
Hi anon! I couldn't reply to you when you sent this because I was busy with uni, but now I figured since I'm probably going on a Violetta s2 rewatch soon this could be a good way to give everyone an updated hc list, since some of them changed quite a bit since the last time I've been really active on this blog
Violetta:
Vilu - ............ straight. I know, I know, 'what about Franletta' and all, but the truth is I've always instinctively seen Vilu as het, it's just the vibe I get from her. When I joined dcla tumblr I saw people shipping Franletta and it seemed like a really fun new way to interact with these characters so I decided to change my hc and give it a go too, and I mean I did have a lot of fun with it but after being away for a while my brain just went back to my first instincts (and I'm having a lot of fun with token het Vilu too)
León - bi icon, pining over his ex gf one day and eye fucking his rival the next, who does it like him
Fran - bi (with a preference for men) queen
Diego - bi (with a preference for men) king
Ludmila - I'm actually not sure? My original hc for her was bi but then as I was watching I think s2 or s3 it changed to lesbian, but the thing is I was thinking about it these days and I can't remember what made me switch (😭), so I don't know if I still agree with my past self's reasoning or not. Right now I'm leaving her as just sapphic because if there's one thing I'm sure of is that this girl kisses girls, and hopefully as I rewatch I can make up my mind
Camila - chaotic lesbian ICON like genuinely hats off to her, all of the other chaotic lesbian girlies wish their antics could come close to the red dot green dot fiasco (myself included)
Naty - THE lesbian ever nobody can compare
Marco - bi boi
Maxi - I think he's pan
Broduey - he is indeed straight, backing up Vilu in the beloved token het gang
Andrés - he's bi and I think we as a community should talk about it more, between being so happy whe he thought he was getting flowers from Marco that one time and the whole flirting with Cardoso to try to date Emma situation I think it's safe to say he's one of the characters who said bi rights the loudest, put some respect on his name
Federico - I don't know. I don't know I have no clue. Everything related to Federico's sexuality is a whole mystery to me, I have no idea what it is and at this point I'm too afraid to ask
Angie and Jade - bi wives they're kissing as we speak
Gregorio - gay KING
Soy Luna:
Luna - she's a pan babygirl (with very hit or miss taste)
Simón - bi bi bi
Ámbar - THE bisexual icon of the show you guys won so hard with this one
Matteo - I don't wanna say it but sadly we all know the answer............. a loss for bi people everywhere, my heart is with you in these trying times
Nina - painfully straight
Gastón - he's bi but he's SO oblivious about it it actually hurts to watch, this man is full on having gay sex thinking it's just a bro moment someone save him from himself
Jim - the most oblivious lesbian of all times suffering from terminal comphet, all I have to say is get well soon girl please Yam is BEGGING
Yam - a lesbian WARRIOR fighting tooth and nail against the writers to come out, rescue her comphet afflicted gf and kiss her on the lips, I admire her perseverance
Ramiro - he's absolutely gay but tragically he was never told he can have female friends and thinks he has to date his lesbian bestie to hang out
Jazmin - I think lesbian. I flip flop a lot between lesbian and bi for her but right now this is the one I'm leaning towards, and if we just leave canon crushes aside it's also what feels the most right for the character to me. Maybe it’ll switch back to bi later but for now I'm keeping this one
Delfi - I just realised I never actually thought about this one. I mean I do ship Pelfi but I think she can kiss girls too, as a treat
Pedro - honestly I think he might be straight
Nico - yeah he's straight too
Emilia - ok ok this one is a bit of a messy one, and it's mostly because the way I see it s2 and s3 Emilia are pretty much completely different characters. In s2 she's THE goth lesbian icon of this show and I adore her, but in s3 she gets that very annoying and unnecessary crush on Matteo and the way it's done I can't even call it comphet, so that'd make her bi. I don't really acknowledge s3 Emila though since I really hate what the writers did with her character, s2 Emilia is the only one that my brain allows, so she's still THE goth lesbian icon in my heart <3
Juliana - oh she's 100% a lesbian too the energy radiates from every cell of her body and I love her for it, also she definitely had a crush on that singer she listened to as a teenager that she told Yam about
Ana and Mora - lesbian wives who I love with my whole heart
And since I'm not as into Bia as I am into the other two I never really bothered to make sexuality hcs for the characters there, so I'm ending this here. Thank you so much for the ask anon <3
#oof that was a long one but i mean i had fun#this is also my official goodbye to bi vilu it was good while it lasted but this just feels more right#and let's see how long lesbian jazmin lasts this time i hope it's my final answer but you never know#violetta#soy luna

I only got thru one episode tonight for my SL rewatch but here were some sizzling hot takes on 1x06:
Gastón is so much more mischievous than I remember. He really loves to goof around with Matteo in s1. But I do love their friendship even when they're being so dumb.
Gastina meetcute is adorable. I love how he talks a mile a minute about the book she's reading while she doesn't say a word until the very last second lol.
I had 0 recollection of Nina's reporter job on Fab & Chic but it was fun to see her go up against them to uncover the truth (Foreshadow s2 Detective!Nina). Ámbar/Nina standoff was a great moment I didn't recall. They are the smartest ladies in the bunch so it's nice when that concept is utilized.
Yam is even gayer than I remembered and I already thought she was madly in love with Jim but wow she doesn't give Ramiro a second thought she's just worried Jim paired up with Nico without telling her
I love Luna & Simón so much. Every scene they have gives me the serotonin I need to get through life. I knew they were my favorites in s1A but it's really hitting me all over again why I loved them so much.
Simón being so happy about his choice to come to BA! Look at him! Joining the band! Making Luna smile! MY GUY!
I will always give it to Mambar for being THAT pair. I love how they always perform like a camera is on them lmao
#soy luna otra vez#goodnight for now#see i can enjoy matteo dynamics#he just needs to stay away from luna for the time being#i hate everytime he flirts with her#i'm like go away get a job

Art for my SL ASOUE AU
So, ASOUE does not take place in a specific time, so therefore when I created this AU I decided to let the characters be dressed in different time periods. It was pretty hard, since several time period styles would work. But I decided to spread it out.
We'll start with the main 3, that we will focus on the most in the AU.
I had a 60s-50s-40s thing with them.
Luna even has some time period accurate roller skates - cause no matter what AU, she needs to have roller skates. Since she's canonly a fashion disaster (/hj), I decided to just let her wear so much stripes as possible. Even if it does look a little funny. Also, I need to always draw her with untied shoes, it's a thing.
For Simón, I wanted to go backwards with the decades so I tried looking for 50s looks that would fit him. I think it turned out pretty neat.
Nina has a 40s school girl look. Not a school uniform, just a... school girl, you know, lol? I also tried to get her some period accurate glasses - but I am not used to draw round glasses so it's a little weird but I think it turned out ok. Also, yes, Nina's the Klaus of the story, obviously. And I think you can figure out who's Violet and who's Sunny lmao.
Trust me, I SO wanted to dress Ámbar in the outfit she had at the flash open ep, but in this AU she needed to wear more "proper" clothes. At least in the beginning... I'm thinking, just like in SL, she'll start wearing more "proper" outfits and then just getting a goth transformation. Anyway, she has a "50s rich girl" aesthetic going on.
Jim and Yam? Def 70s vibes on them. Not much to say about it, I just felt like... they would wear that, you know?
Now, I didn't put in as much of an effort in the boys, lol.
But Matteo has this "fancy 40s boy" vibe. He already wears vests and bowties in SL is like, it fits.
Now, Ramiro, at first I wanted to have him wear the outfit he had in flash open, but then I saw weird 70s male fashion and I realized that's Ramiro's vibe? I mean, you've seen what he has worn in the show lol. He def would wear this weirdass rainbow shirt.
Gastón wears a 30s sailor suit and that's partly because he's gonna be included in a certain part of asoue... if you know you know, if you don't know then you will know later
Jazmin and Delfi are connected, though they have different styles. Jazmin has more of a 60s girl style while Delfi is more a 30s girl. But in asoue, there's a character who always writes articles about the characters and spreads misinformation - and since Jazmin and Delfi always gossip about their friends on their youtube channel, I was like "ok good they are gonna be nosy junior journalists"
Emilia's outfit is legit just what she wore in flash open in the show. I also noticed her outfit had apples on them (I know, in my drawing they look like cherries but they are supposed to be apples lol) and apples are sort of important in asoue - so I was like "!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Stay tuned for me drawing the Violetta characters in 80s outfit for my Stranger Things AU for them! (lowkey tempted to draw them in time period outfits too, though all of them really dress like they are from the 50s or 60s already hahaha)

Sometimes I miss Soy Luna but I actually miss Simon and Ámbar and I like becases attached to them and miss them in a “oh I wonder what they’re up to now” and I would love a domestic fanfic but there’s none and I’m an awful writer but this is how I imagine the characters lives after the show ended
Simon and Ámbar would be together till forever probably, I don’t see them breaking up, or not for a long time anyways like 1 day or maximum a week if one of them is away, but they would get back together asap and work on the issue and get stronger, Simon would probably be doing band stuff and Ámbar would be in college but they would always have time for each other and do little weekend trips, they would eventually move together and then get married further down the line, have 3 kids
Pedro and Delfi are together 100%, like after that unnecessary break up mentioned in Bia they got together prwttt quickly, they were apart just for a couple of months while the band was on tour or something and Pedro definitely proposed right away when they got back together bc he can’t bare the idea of losing her again 🥺 Delfi obviously said yes bc she felt the same way, she would probably be studying a lot (I don’t remember if she said what she was doing career wise when she appeared on Bia) but I can see her majoring in business, fashion design and journalism maybe graphic design and something related to content creating as well, she would be one of those persons who loves to learn and work on her career. They would still found time to be together, they also moved in together when he proposed but waited a couple years to actually get married and them & Simbar are couple besties they go out to bars together, they have double dates at least once a month, they travel together everything
The idea of Delfi and Ámbar being supporting gfs/wives on tour is what I live for.
They eventually open a clothing line together, they’re best maids at each other’s weddings, have kids at the same time and raise them to be best friends, they’re also the godparents of each others kids
Luna and Matteo probably break up a little while after the finale, it’s probably a messy break up they don’t want to see each other kind of way but they’re still in the same friend group, so when they see each other at concerts, birthdays, weddings and stuff they just ignore each other most of the times but probably hook up afterwards most of the times. They probably reconnect way further down the line… like they’re both grew and matured apart and i can see it in a they’re about to marry someone else or just got out of a messy divorce and they’re both alone so why not scenario and they actually work up that time
Jazmin is super successful influencer and works on something involved with travel and fashion, she’s away a lot but still in contact with Delfi and Ámbar, she’s probably based in a big city like New York or Paris and she meets someone there and they’re couple goals… I don’t see her as a mom (or maybe she has just 1 daughter and she raises her to be a super pink princess) I can see her loving and spoiling her nieces and nephews (Simbar & Pelfi’s kids) a ton
Nina goes to study to Oxford after the finale, she sees Gaston once at a coffee shop and its awkward and then they just don’t cross paths for a while, I can see them as rivals at one point maybe on something academic or work related, they then have to work together for something for a long-ish period of time and they get along again and are just friends for a while but one night they go out with friends and he walks her to her apartment and it’s late she invites him a cup of coffee or tea and they 100% hook up and then she probably turns him off probably bc she has an annoying snobby boyfriend Bernard who she doesn’t really love and then they avoid each other and it’s awkward again and one night she gets tired of faking and breaks up with her bf and runs to his apartment in the rain and he opens the door and it’s like “Nina what are you doing here, you should be celebrating your engagement with Bernard” and Nina’s like “I dumped that idiot, I don’t want him I want you, I love you since I was 15 and I will always love you” or something like that and they get back together, get married have 2 kids, the end
Nico breaks up with Ada or Eva or whoever her gf was and goes back to Argentina, he reaches out to the boys and they take him back, the band continues with all 4 members for many years, like they would have little 1 to 2 year hiatus where they would work on solo stuff but the band itself won’t break up
Nico is definitely the playboy of the band, Matteo and him would be each other wingmen at certain points but I feel like Matteo would have serious relationships here and there and Nico would be single most of the time, I can see him maybe even in like a 3 year relationship where he would have a kid and then they would split and he would go back to his bachelor life, he would fall in love eventually and get married
I don’t remember Ramiro’s ending exactly but I think he would go and basically make a career out of rolling skating, he would be very good at it, win tournaments, be one of the best ones in the word, have a lot of fans, that kind of stuff eventually I could see him buying the ring, the band would buy the resto area, they would have a partnership going on there. Jim would be supporting him at events and stuff and he would ask her for help when he buys the ring and she would help him managing and also of training the next roller skating generation 😜they would eventually end up together bc I think that Jim never really got over him in the first place, she just gave up on him because of Yam and he would realize he made a mistake focusing on Yam all those years before
Yam is a successful singer songwriter, she and Jim had a long term (maybe 3 years) relationship but it didn’t end that well, fame kinda got to her and they couldn’t spend time together anymore so they broke up, they lose contact for some time and they reconnect at some wedding probably, she’s dating someone else and Jim is hanging out with Ramiro by that time, it’s a little shocking at first that her 2 best friends that are also her ex partners are sorta dating at first but then she sees they just work, probably helps them get together and stays in touch with them through the distance
Emilia and Benicio also made a career in rollerskating they won tournaments and stayed friends with Ramiro, I can see them opening an academy or something like that and have a friendly rivality with Ramiro
Monica and Miguel basically adopted Ámbar, since Luna is away most of the time, she haves lunch at their place 1-3 times a week, Simon would join them every now & then and Monica cooks cochinita pibil for him obviously… I imagine them having a mother-daughter relationship like Ámbar would ask for advice and they’ll go to the salon, the mall and out to have brunch together, Luna would goin when she’s home too.
Finally they would cry so hard at Simbar’s wedding bc they love them both and are so happy that they found each other, they would be like grandparents to their kids & would spoil them rotten (I can also see them making jokes about how they want grandkids as soon as they got engaged & it hits Ámbar as a confirmation that they basically adopted her; she then asks Miguel to walk her to the isle)
Idk what to say about Luna but I guess she would make a career out of her music maybe she would study something music related as well (even tho I don’t see her in college bc she hated studying and school)
Matteo would split time with the band and his solo career (kinda like the 5sos guys do it)
Finally the gang would get together maybe once a month, the ones that live away would visit obviously like once a year
#i wrote most of this before and I got scared I would accidentally delete it#so i stopped writing and saved it in the drafts and when I was gonna continue writing I didn’t pay attention to what I pressed#ended up deleting the draft 🙃#soy luna#I also made Jimiro endgame bc that’s how it should’ve been#they had more chemistry than Yam and Ramiro#simbar#pelfi#lutteo#jimiro#gastina#I miss Simon and Ámbar so much 😭#also added Monica & Miguel bc Ámbar deserves loving parents

(i have a bunch of random headcanons for ámbina and one of these is based around how nina lived there before luna moved to buenos aires like they say in the first ep)
her and ámbar always had brief interactions, mostly filled with fake politeness and quiet smiles as a way to fill the awkward silences left behind by nina because of her shyness.
and it was mostly fine, at least until she had to interact with ámbar while her friend group was around (that always ended up with them "whispering" not very nice things about her as soon as she was within earshot and with nina's ego being a bit bruised)
i haven't really thought about how but at some point ámbar needs help with either some homeworks/school stuff or something for the fab&chic and asks nina for help.
They start to spend a lot of time together and as they get used to each other's presence they start opening up.
They start dating in secret, and weirdly enough it was nina's decision to keep it a secret.
(after a while they have a very severe falling out and nobody knows about it, so ámbar's friends just think that they got close, became friends and then fought because "nina wasn't made for her [/didn't fit her style], and they were too different to be friends".
ámbar never corrected them.)
after that there's a timeskip and the show starts.
#just an idea ig#it would also kinda work as an in canon reason to explain why they avoided each other#and why nina gets so anxious/nervous when her and her group are around#ámbina

❤️🔥😭😇💔🪢
Simon, Nina, Gastón and Ambar
❤️🔥 a romantic headcanon:
Simón is the most romantic guy ever, big gestures, serenades with original songs, home cooked candle lit dinners, picnics on the beach, stargazing on the countryside, the works
Nina is a shy little thing, but she’s also a poet at heart, so she’ll say the most beautiful things in private, she also loves to hold hands while out together, not only because she’s very physically affectionate and touch starved but also because it keeps her grounded, and she loves to fall asleep cuddling too
Gastón is more of a personal gestures kind of guy, his demonstrations are very specific to them and their relationship
Ámbar is a very protective girlfriend, she will go to battle with anyone who breathes something mean about her boyfriend, and her smiles, seeing her smiling is a luxury, a privilege, if she smiles at you, you are blessed, and if you wipe that smile off her face, there’ll be hell to pay
😭 a headcanon about the worst thing that happened to them:
For Simón, probably when his grandma, the one who helped raise him, his siblings and all his cousins, died, he was on tour when he got the news, it was awful
For Nina it wasn’t a specific moment, but the year before her parents got divorced, they were at the height of their marital problems, every day she came home to a fight, true nightmare material
For Gastón, I’d say it was when he got the news of Matteo’s accident from his father, he was heartbroken, not only that he couldn’t do anything because he couldn’t just drop his studies to go back home and because of the distance, but also because none of their friends had thought to tell him that his brother was in the hospital
For Ámbar it was definitely her first skating showcase/competition, when she saw that Sharon wasn’t on the stands, cheering her on
😇 a headcanon about their religion or lack thereof:
Simón was raised catholic, church every week and stuff, but he never really cared about that stuff, preferring to enjoy the life he has
Nina is a science and facts kind of girl, but she can appreciate all the art that came from the church and loves studying every religion she can get her
Gastón wasn’t raised particularly religion, and is a known atheist, but he loves visiting churches to see the architecture and history of it all
Ámbar has some bad memories of forcibly being taken to church because Sharon thought it was a good look to raise her christian
💔 An angsty headcanon:
Simón bakes a cake with her recipe and puts a candle on it to blow it out and sings the song she used to sing to him, every year on his grandmother’s birthday
Nina volunteers at a troubled youth shelter that she lived in for a few weeks when she was younger, and once she sees a young girl who’s parents’ divorce had gotten so bad, she ran away, just like she had done once, after she got home, she cried and cried until she couldn’t anymore
Gastón freaks out every time he sees an unknown number calling him because that’s how he found out his best friend almost died
Ámbar can’t brush her hair without thinking of everything her mother did to her and how she’ll never get her innocence back and then she cries
🧬 a headcanon about their family:
Simón has 6 siblings, three older, three younger, one is 35, one is 27, one is just a year older than him, one is 17, one is 13 and the youngest is 10, by the time the show begins
Both Ricardo and Ana were only children so Nina doesn’t have cousins which made her bad childhood all the more awful
I already talked about how Gastón’s mom, Catalina, is a lawmaker and his dad, Julio, is a baker, but what I didn’t mention is his little sister, Sofia, who is 6 and is the sassiest little thing anyone’s ever seen (she’s Matteo’s favorite)
Thinking about family headcanons for Ámbar is hard because her family situation is already pretty clear in the show, and I’m not a big fan of next gen stuff, but I think she, together with Simón, Luna and later Ramiro, after they get married, makes the mansion into a foster home

How would all the violetta and SL girls’ parents react if they told them they were pregnant? (If they told them during canon and not as adults)
Violetta: Well we know that even if Violetta would be an adult and married Germán would beat the crap out of whoever did this to his daughter… but Yeah in the show when she’s a teenager it might even be way worse. I can see Violetta trying to desperately hide it from him as long as possible.
Luna: Her parents would be a bit concerned due to her young age, but support her no matter what. I also think their feelings depend on how Luna feels - if Luna wants to keep it they help her out and support her, and if she doesn’t then they help her with that too. Although in private when she isn’t hearing they are probably more anxious about the whole thing and try to discuss what to do.
Francesca: Judging from what we saw in the show, Fran seems to have a lot of family around even when her parents moved back to Italy (as she got to live with her aunt and uncle when she stayed). So I think her parents reactions are essentially ”Well. It’s up to you to do what you want with this. If you keep it we’ll make a little nursery for it and it can be with your aunt while you’re at school”
Nina: Ricardo would immediately be like ”that’s great!! 😃” while Ana would give her lectures on how she should have been more responsible, while simontaneously deciding she’s gonna be some sort of guide on how to be a mom. She’d also be like ”and have you figured out what to do with school? If you keep it, have you thought about dropping off? Can I talk to the father’s parents??”. Also Mora (she’s also Nina’s mom she has two moms) would just be like ”Wonderful news you gave me!! 💜💜” and sew a bunch of baby clothes, even if Nina was only like some few weeks in.
Camila: I love the idea of ”Camila has a giant hippie family” so if she was pregnant her parents would just shrug. ”Someone is always home if you need someone to look after the baby when you’re in school”
Ámbar: Haha… yeah there’s no way she’d tell Sharon. However, Sharon 100% would find out anyway and when she does, Ámbar prepares for her to disown her or yell at her for ruining her reputation with this teenage pregnancy. She is ready to say she can get an abortion (even if she’s not sure she wants one) just to please Sharon. However, Sharon sees this an opportunity to raise someone else just like her. So she’s like ”keep the child. We have plenty of room. And I can take care of it while you study in Paris.”
Ludmila: Priscila would be disgusted that her own daughter could do something like this and ruin her reputation… the odd thing is, she’s against abortions but she’s also against Ludmila keeping the child. So she plans on essentially forcing Ludmila to adopt away the child immediately at birth and ”forget this ever happened”.
Jim: I feel like her parents would be like ”well, if you’re sure about this then we’ll support you through it all”.
Naty: My feeling is that they’d feel whatever Naty feels about it. If Naty is happy, they are happy. If Naty is sad, they are sad.
Yam: I think her parents trust her so they are like ”well, whatever choice you make with this will be the right one. We’re here to help if you need it.”
Delfi: I feel like her parents would feel a bit disappointed that she wasn’t ”careful” enough and scold her about it, while they want to make her prove she’s capable of taking care of a child.
Jazmin: I have a feeling they think Jazmin is super innocent about everything and didn’t know how she ended up pregnant, but they also want to keep her pure so they are like ”Yeah honey you must be the next virgin Mary <3”. Meanwhile Jazmin is like ”lol my parents think I’m the virgin Mary they can’t believe I slept with a boy 🤣 They’re so odd”

I just wanna talk about the s2 finale of soy luna again because i have some thoughts
I understand that, because it's a season finale, it can't be too emotional or upsetting because it's supposed to round out the season - we need closure, some amount of joy and a big final performance
however I feel like it was a little too happy? like they lost the roda fest but they don't even care for longer than 5 minutes because luna randomly receives an award??
the main thing is the sol benson reveal though, it was cute but it felt so...unsatisfying? the whole drama with sharon was intense and i loved that but luna's reaction was so minimal it felt like she just accepted it immediately?
idk i think i wanted a lot more of an emotional response?? like where's the mental breakdown? i know ámbar was manipulated and obviously didn't have any memories but when she was told that she's sol benson she fucking lost it where was that?? where's the identity crisis??
luna had been searching for this for an entire season with simón and nina and they were barely involved in the reveal idk it just felt really lazy
to be fair it's been a while since i actually watched it so this might not be fully accurate but i was just thinking about it bc i rewatched the big performances but yeah idk
#bare in mind i haven't touched s3 yet so i have no idea if she gets more emotional about it later#she probably does bc i know she has more dreams but yeah#s1 finale was a lot better imo#and not just because i have watched the alas performance too many times#its just too good#soy luna

Let's talk about Ámbar Smith for a second please.
I love Ámbar's character to death, I do, but I also feel like her character wasn't handled very well in any of the seasons.
Starting off! With Season 1 Ámbar:
Season one Ámbar that I saw, there was almost no hope for redemption for her.
They set her up to be a person without the most basics of compassion and she isn't able to draw the line at what is too much.
She messes with Luna's immigration papers to the point that Luna's parents have to talk to the Mexican Embassy. And she still doesn't see the problem with that.
She's also mad at Luna for simply existing. Just because Luna may have a role in the Jam & Roller (which is a significant part of Ámbar's life).
Here is where I see Ámbar becoming a little more human and a little less stereotypical Disney mean girl. Her godmother, her only parent figure in her life, doesn't teach Ámbar right from wrong. Instead, she operates in metaphors (i.e. the orchids) and literally tells Ámbar to control her surroundings and never lose. Essentially, Ámbar never gets any validation unless she's the best.
That's the environment she's been living in for around 16 YEARS.
Does it change that at this point, she's not a good person? No. But it helps me understand her backstory.
When Delfi leaves Ámbar's friendship, I would've thought that would have been sign one but she didn't get any time to fix that because Sharon is telling her that she has to be the lead soloist and eliminate Luna.
So Ámbar doesn't really grow but I think that we get somewhat of a more human character where we leave off at the end of season one.
So then we have season 2.
Here Ámbar becomes even more human. You see all of the mirror scenes. You see the pressure she is putting on herself. You also see me yelling "Get therapy and get away from Sharon please!".
But she doesn't start her development yet. Instead, she burns down Jam & Roller. This is a huge example of how she doesn't have any boundaries right now. She can't tell when it's just too much and that is a problem.
Fast forward a little bit, she starts a friendship with our resident cinnamon roll, Simón (mostly out of spite but she still has to grow more). Simón gives her a real friendship. A friendship in which they are equals. Instead of Ámbar constantly being in control. She experiences this and she likes it but then she immediately tells herself "snap out of it".
But she doesn't snap out of it because holy cow she likes Simón.
Simultaneously you also have her thinking she's Sol Benson and then finding out she's not Sol Benson and finding out she's adopted. She went from having a family and another identity to having it ripped from her. Then she finds out it's actually Luna? Her mortal enemy? Then Delfi and Jazmin leave her.
She probably felt so alone while Luna is off living her best life.
This is where she needs someone else. Someone to help her. Simón comes in and he offers her friendship and solidarity and he makes her feel validated. And loved. And she finally finds this. She needs this.
But he breaks up with her and Ámbar finally snaps.
Where I think they (the writers) may have gone wrong is that Ámbar reverts all of her development.
If I'm not wrong, the second season is where she offers to help Luna find her parents, she becomes happy and tries to deal with her emotions, if they continued with this, she may have even stood up to Sharon.
But then she reverts to Dark! Ámbar, which is actually kind of cool but it hurts to see her lose all of the progress she made.
I think that for plot reasons, reverting Ámbar's development allowed for the writers to spend time on her arc in season 3 while also getting some conflict with other characters.
But a solution to that may have been that, in the end of season 2, Ámbar starts to develop. She befriends Luna/Nina/Jim/Yam who won't take her toxicity and try to help her grow.
To get a similar conflict in season 3, they could've had her building good relationships with the roller team while Emilia tries to turn her over to their side and keeps framing Ámbar for anything that goes wrong in the roller. This way, they continue with her redemption arc without putting her back on ground 0 at season 3 and still get conflict and explore more friend dynamics in the season.
Then we have season 3 Ámbar.
While I think they rushed her development a little near the end and could've started the development earlier in the season, I think what they did with her character wasn't very badly done.
She gets some really cute scenes with Simón and her relationship with Mónica is also amazingly done.
It would've been nice to see a Lumbar friendship, ngl, but we got some good content nevertheless.
It just seemed like in the end, she flipped a switch and became a good person without the underlying Ámbar sarcasm and personality (or maybe it's just me).
In conclusion. Ámbar's character is one of the most complex and interesting characters I have ever seen from Disney, but her redemption arc was a tad rushed and could've been done a little better (some different character dynamics would've been cool to see as well).
