It quite annoys me when people frame the issue of adults getting more and more hostile to children in public space as a "those annoying child free people!!!" as if a group of annoying weirdos on reddit had *alone* the power to oppress and exclude kids they don't even go around much. Like being extremely hostile and abusive to kids are often people with family themselves, people who have work involving children, people who'd think you're selfish for not having kids. They'll often say "the issue is not kids its kids that don't behave and their parents let them do whatever!" and are also extremely hostile to pregnant people for needing accommodations. Its just as much your random dad with a kid "who can behave unlike the other ones" as your annoying 20yo in their "i need to be vocal about hating kids" phase. As long as we keep seeing kids as objects who are allowed to be seen if they’re not heard and pressure people especially women to see any sense of protection or likeability in a kid as them finally admitting they’ll marry and have kids themselves I think we’ll keep having that issue.

Hi pile 1! You need to try that classical, timeless, style, i know it can be annoying to look at all the beige and muted tones but its so much more than that like, picture this, a tailored blazer or high-waisted trousers that fit like a dream. tbh I am also getting pearls for some reason so maybe adding neckklaces as accessories can be something you are interested in to incorporate in your style next year. Start with a simple white shirt, a fitted black dress, or a pair of cut jeans. Then you can accesorise with delicate gold bracelet, a black bag, or a string of pearls again with the pearls they are calling for you right nowww.

Moreover, another style you can incorporate is just as sharp, and elegant so like the whole academia aesthetic, regardless of light or dark that doesn’t matter but what I am trying to say is, clothes with shape. Like cinched wastes and just clothes that create shape for you are like something you really should give thought to. It’s about being comfortable but also looking effortlesss while doing it all, I think basics like camis, just plain shirts/tshirts are something you need more of in your closet because theres so many ways to style them other than just for formal wear. Y’all this is my pile you guys are my PEOPLE ok to begin with you need to stop being afraid of colour and looseness like not everything has to be tight and fitted especially just because the microtrend world says so. Experiment with “loud” colours and different textures, things you may have thought are “odd” and don’t look good, because trust me the way it can all be pulled together is crazy and so much fun!! Layer, the most important part, stack rings and bracelets and go for those colours that lowkey hurt your eyes because fashion is about colour and pattern and texture and taking all of it out of fashion just makes it dull imo.

Start with a bright coloured tshirt, maybe something like yellow, then layer on, very “indie kid” aesthetic like the high saturation stuff. Mixed with that I am also getting maximalism to the MAX layer layer layer, stack stack stack you should look like a walking apparell store (kidding) seriously though if you have been feeling like you want to experiment with something like this and oxidised jewellery and mixing different styles mainly because all of your wardrobe is mismatched (me) then go for it because I promise it will come out looking way better than you may have imagined. 

Pile 3: 

Ooo I love this, okay so very romanticised, very coquette but not really, this is also the pile which will look so good in pastels in lighter colours. All I am getting in my head are those pictures of people on picnics in their flowy outfits and dresses looking so pretty and at peace, bows and dellicate bangles, just a very dainty aesthetic im thinking light fabrics and romantic fashion like lace-trimmed dresses, pastel skirts and floral prints, very fairytaile-ish. Ruffles or embroidery too and just magical overall. Also the complete opposite of pile 2 here, minimalist aesthetic may suit you a lot so try it out next year!

I am talking about keeping it simple, not too much with the accessorising and maybe a staple or statement accessory piece that goes with everything and anything you wear. Also for some of you with this simplistic style, you may have to be pushed to try on something more glam too like a bold red lip when it comes to makeup, like be bolder with your makeup experiment with more purples, pinks and reds while keeping the outfits simpler.

okay so

i think the viktor and mel hallucinations during jayce's whole Moment in 2x07, their eyes are just completely black. and its VERY faint but u can KIND OF see the outline of their irises if u look REALLY close (irl)

to show u what i mean:

first ones are just normal settings (tho my computer brightness is all the way up), i only messed with the exposure n highlights of the pictures and stuff in the middle ones, and outlined the eyes in the third ones

​which could make sense in terms of his mental state i think ? he maybe feels like he let them down, or betrayed them or couldnt help them in a way ??

they dont feel human to him anymore. or maybe hes created these images so theyre judging him as he can only reminisce on what happened and how he left things

mel’s vision looks maybe like either angry, stubborn, strong willed or annoyed lol... her chin is kinda turned down, with downturned eyebrows, and her lower lids are halfway closed implying that shes like glaring or narrowing her eyes at him, her lips almost look pursed together and i think ? her nostrils are flared but its so hard to tell lmao we only get like three frames of over exposure HAAH take these with a grain of salt lmfao

viktor (even tho i cannot for the life of me read his expression HAHA) to the best of my ability i think kinda looks hurt or confused, maybe innocent for lack of a better term or scared. ((which given how he left jayce it would kinda fit lmao)) BUT his brows are ever so slightly scrunched together, one is higher than the other which usually implies confusion or thinking or admiring. eyes are wide open, mouth is agape a teenie bit, these are usually seen with softer, positive or more admirable expressions, and his chin is tilted upward. im not trying to turn this into a jayvik thing i swear im just comparing to my facial recognition knowledge HAHA

and as he loses himself deeper in the hexcore, the more he starts losing and/or fearing the two ppl he loved most ? ... and worries how he’d get back to them (if at all) and how he would imagine they would react.

the two ppl who not only made and brought him to who he is today, but uplifted and supported and stood by him for ~10 years despite everything

anyway this theory would all pair nicely with the voices that start playing in the background during his lil Montage lmao it kind of culminates into a massive guilty conscious, that then outwardly presents itself in their hallucinations:

“i never asked for this” - jayce to viktor, after their conversation about him breaking their promise about destroying the hexcore, resulting in vik leaving him lmao. also jayce literally turned viktor into this metal husk so hes gotta have that sitting on his shoulders too lmfao

“[heimer] was my mentor, and i betrayed him” - jayce (to mel) abt voting heimer off the council despite heimer ending up being completely right about magic in the first place

“it corrupts” “you must destroy it” “ive seen nations destroyed” - heimer about the hexcore, jayce screams over this as those lines play, anguishing over the fact that he literally did this to himself and hes the reason Piltover is (or will be) no more bc he ignored the warnings

“its your time now jayce” “perhaps its time for the era of magic” - mel to jayce, context is in the quotes HAHA. jayce is screaming no! no! and please! during these lines, i think its just to hammer (pun intended) home on the fact that it all ties back to him for ‘creating’ magic. its on HIM (at least in his own mind) for the destruction of Piltover and all of its people

not to mention the reason hes stuck down there for so long is because his own invention (hextech hammer) disabled him enough to make him unable to climb out for (as far as we know) weeks or even months... more outward projection of self guilt, but like far more literal than symbolic i guess

and as other people mentioned already, it put him in the same position of viktor (down in the depths of zaun having to pull himself up to piltover with the challenges of a disabled leg and illness and no one to support or help him) which allowed him to relate to viktor in a way he never could have before

maybe im just thinking too hard about it idk (im not). or unless this was extremely obvious to the average viewer HAHA. in my defense i spent this whole montage pausing every .6 seconds to take a picture of seggsy and broken and whimpering jayce so i wasnt really paying that much attention to it all AHAHA

bkdk would be canon if izuku was a girl.

bkdk would be canon, or, at least less hated on if Izuku was a girl. And A Silent Voice is proof of that.

now if you have no idea what I’m talking about go and watch that movie it is beautiful and will change your life but let me continue.

throughout the first arc of A Silent Voice Shouya bullies Shoko. Very harshly as well, doing things such as ripping out her hearing aids causing her to bleed, making nasty comments behind her back and to her face and generally just being an ableist bitch. Starting to see the parallels? In season 1 of MHA we can see how Bakugou Bullies Izuku because he is quirkless, which I guess in a way is the MHA universe’s equivalent of having a physical disability.

throughout ASV we follow Shouya’s journey of making amends with Shoko and, despite their history, Shoko catches feelings, confessing to him towards the middle of the movie saying “I love you” which Shouya mistakenly hears as “I love the moon”.

obviously what Shouya did in the first part of the movie was horrific and should not be condoned, but he took that time to improve and better himself and show Shoko that he was sorry and that he cared.

again, seeing the parallels? In MHA bakugou actively tries to improve himself and make ammends, after realising his actions were very wrong and trying to unpack his inferiority complex (because that is what led him to do a lot of what he did, as we see in season 3 ep deku vs kachan pt.2) he wants Izuku to know that he’s sorry and that he cares, he even says this to all might, and this is how we eventually reach, The ApologyTM, in season 6. Again as we see, Izuku forgives him and comes back to AU.

now, back to my original statement. Shokoxshouya is a very popular ship in the ASV fandom and is implied to be canon, especially seeing how Shoko canonically likes Shouya. I’ve never actually seen anyone hate on them, loads of people saying that they’re “made for each other” and the like. now ofc again, Bkdk is a very popular ship in the MHA fandom but somehow is also the most hated. This is partially attributed to SOME shippers being weird asf such as pixeldrink but every ship has those people (unfortunately) people just tend to bring more attention to it when it comes to bkdk cause ppl need an excuse to hate. But another driving factor of the hate? This idea that the ship is toxic because of the events of s1. “ but bakugou told Izuku to swan dive ☹️” babes that was seven seasons ago and he’s come A LONG WAY since. Bakugou is probably one of the best and most interestingly developed characters in the whole series. (Also apparently horikoshi said he felt the line was too far and ooc for bakugou? This might just be a rumour tho idk)

now here, ASV boy bullies a deaf girl, makes an effort to be better, becomes her friend, shows her he cares and saves her life. MHA a boy bullies a quirkless boy, makes an effort to be better, becomes his rival then his friend, saves his life AND ALSO SACRIFICES HIMSELF FOR HIM!!

and unfortunately, at the end of the day, it all boils down to homophobia. I constantly see comments saying “can’t two guys just be friends” and “NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE GAY” and “why’d they make it woke” etc. people will find anything to try and cover the fact that they’re literally just a gross homophobe. And unfortunately, majority of the time, these comments are coming from izucha shippers, who, I’m sorry to say, are some of the most INSUFFERABLE shippers I have ever come across. Some of them are really nice but a bunch of them are just homophobic cis-het dudes who have absolutely no passion behind the ship and just ship it cause it’s implied and cause it’s hetero. And the whole using chapter 431 as a GOTCHA to Bkdk shippers is just so annoying and immature. Same goes for ppl using chapter 431 as an excuse to be lesbophobic to togachako shippers. THIS DOES NOT GO FOR ALL OF THEM!! Some of them are genuinely really sweet and have passion for the ship which is what shipping is supposed to be about!! But unfortunately a lot of them are really shallow :(

anyways yeah that’s why I think it’s dumb that people are so hypocritical when it comes to Bkdk when shouyashoko is praised as a perfect dynamic, when BOTH are flawed! But that doesn’t make them toxic. Contrary to popular belief, people do have the ability to grow and fix their mistakes. There’s a massive double standard and it ticks me off.

(Also wasn’t Bkdk supposed to be canon in horikoshis prototype of MHA? Or at least once sided cause Bakugou was supposed to be obsessed with Izuku? Which would’ve been a really interesting dynamic to explore. Not necessarily a healthy one, but interesting.)

Uk, on look back, i think class and social standing have such a profound effect on muggle born and half blood students without impressive sir names who enter the wizarding world for the first time. With Hermione, the reason she never felt any lesser than the purebloods is probably because she's not disadvantaged compared to them in any major way. In the books her parents r both dentists, so she's financially well off, also she takes at least one international trip to France during the holidays(I was pretty young when I read these books and my country is much poorer than Britain, so i'd just assumed tht was what regular British PPL do lol). Wizards like the Weasleys show her how it's possible to live a happy (if poor) life without having those political connections and influence. There's already been a huge war against the guy and his followers discriminating against ppl like her. Also there weren't really ppl to make her feel inferior; Draco and pansy r such annoying idiots, literally no one took them seriously apart from their little clique. (HOWEVER, idk y Rowling never went deep into how a killer snake roaming around the castle trying to kill ppl lyk her would affect a fucking 12 yr old, probably coz she doesn't exactly know what being discriminated against feels lyk; which ofc I m glad for, no one should, but tht doesn't excuse shallow writing)

Things couldn't have been more different with lily tho. We don't exactly know what her financial situation was lyk, but it's also pretty clear that she doesn't exactly come from money. Sure, slughorn took notice of her, but he's surprised tht she could be smart despite being muggleborn even 15 yrs after her death (none of the teachers in Harry's time discriminate this way). Also she went to school with PPL who became actual death eaters: Avery, muliciber, rosier, wilkies, regulus, barty Crouch jr, Lucius (early on) and ofc, Snape, her childhood friend. Not to mention the war was going on when she was in school (progressed as the yrs passed), ppl were scared and u couldn't trust anyone(so sympathizing with the purebloods probably wasn't that much of an unpopular opinion as it was during Harry's time), and it seemed like the death eaters were winning. Her chances of financial security and employment were almost non existent, given that half of the wizarding world was out there trying to murder PPL like her. Seriously, things couldn't hv been worse tbh

unpopular american dad opinions:

((im not saying my opinions are right, this is just how i feel personally about certain things in regards to the show))

- raptures delight is SEVERLY overrated. while it is an okay xmas ep, the apocalyptic part had a cool art style/music, and a quick golden turd callback, i just personally think some of the other xmas eps are better and its just really over hyped

- hot water is another ep that i feel the same way as the ep mentioned above, as well as daddys gone, which occurs in the same ep. its just not that great of an ep imho and it was kinda a weak series premiere. i think the hurricane ep wouldve been a better series premiere (the ep after hot water).

*side note: i have watched both these eps more than once and tried to give them a chance. they really dont do anything for me, im sorry*

- fox era was WAAAY better. while the tbs era has its bangers, it seems like its hit or miss for good eps in this era. they just dont seem as funny to me sometimes as the fox era ones and i feel like its a chore to watch a lot of eps from this era. while its still the same show, i also feel the vibe and quality changed after the switch too, if you get what im saying.

- while am dad has a LOT of original songs that are bangers, like b12 and good not great, some of them, like cilantros song and daddys gone (like i previously mentioned), are just too overrated. they get so much love and attention and are just overused/over hyped to the point where its not enjoyable and like the eps I mentioned about, arent that spectacular imho.

- the season 4 to present intro is my favorite! while some may call it lazy to just reuse roger personas, i think its a nice callback to previous outfits he has wore. i like to play a game with myself every time i watch those intros and try to remember which ep he wore said disguise in. yes, the newspaper ones were cool, especially the office spaceman one, and they could probably come up with more headlines than personas, they would run out of those eventually as well, and the roger ones are more eye opening and catchy.

- jeff is the best bf for hayley. now this is def an obvious one but avery was waaay to old for her and only dated him bcuz jeff wasnt assertive enough, reggie is a freaking animal, and that ian guy was so they could double date. plus, hayley had been with jeff way before any of those others came into the pic. while jeff has his flaws, so does hayley but at the end of the day, they are very much alike and have unconditional love for each other.

- klaus is a great character! while it can be cringy a lot, doesnt always get the spotlight, and is the meg of american dad, in his words “he is the glue that holds the family together” and the show wouldnt be the same without him.

- roger is NOT overrated, annoying, or unfunny. while some may say that roger is overrated and too used, he is a main character of the show after all and gets a lot of screen time because the crew know he is a fan favorite. his mischief, promiscuous behavior, costumes, and having no filter is what makes him hilarious. for an alien, he is very human and makes us all relate to him heavily. in an old interview i watched, mike barker stated roger is like the guest star every episode because of his hundreds and hundreds of outfits. and to ppl out there saying he is annoying because of the way he acts, that is literally his character like wtf grow up and learn lol

(Not saying this is really him but just a possibility based on what ive observed with those type of ppl)

yj - fixer. sometimes he might be too focused on fixing whatever he thinks need fixing on his partner and that can be really annoying. while his moon in libra and mars in sagittarius might help him be ‘chill’.. that leo and virgo combination is no joke.

i absolutely agree with your opinion about soobin, this is one of the things that I thought about but couldn’t articulate it. in my opinion he is quite mature and he is the leader of the group which makes him mature even more, but it seems like that is enough for him? like, on the one hand, it’s not that he’s not mature for a relationship, but rather he’s just not ready to take responsibility yet. + he said that he is not the kind of person who would lead a relationship or plan something and therefore would just agree with everything that his girlfriend wants, but this is also literally an abdication of responsibility to some extent. so, in my opinion, he either doesn’t want to take on extra responsibility because he’s tired of responsibility at work, or he’s not ready for it due to his young age, or he’s just that kind of person (but actually i think it affects everything together and may change with age, like i don’t think that he will be a person who will become a super leader in a relationship, but at least he will be okay with the responsibility that comes with the appearance of a relationship)

speaking of kai, i understood what you mean and this is really true, but it is in him that it manifests itself as not being so burdensome for other people? like i mean my work in korea was partly related to this area and i could see and sometimes communicate with different musicians/actors/dancers and other media personas and one of the most surprising things is when you look at them you think “wow this person is so cool, they are beautiful, they are smart, they are interesting personas, they have good singing/dancing/whatever skills” but when communicating with these people, most of them have very low self-esteem but they don’t seem to focus on it. i don’t know how to explain this more correctly, but it’s like the difference between people who due to low self-esteem really pull people around them to the bottom and people for whom it’s like something background that you might not even recognize right away. but idk whatever i hope kai can handle with this and it seems he has already changed for the better

I’m usually kind of annoyed when a new breed drops and ppl are making those positivity threads about them in response to criticism but in this case I’m really supporting the positivity threads because they’re being made in response to fatphobia. every ‘criticism’ I’ve seen has just been people complaining about the dragon being fat. which isn’t criticism it’s just you being weird and shitty.. with the other recent ancient breeds there’s been legitimate things to criticize (auraboa lore, dusthides looking halfbaked) but in this case it just bothers me a lot to see people act like they’re just ‘criticizing a design’ or ‘criticizing lineart’ and they’re definitely just complaining about everlux being fat. someday yall are going to realize how obvious you are lol..

As for the debate whether or not to use symbols, I find them rather usual cause sometimes you might be more in the mood for something comfort or fluffy, instead of angsty, and the symbols do make it a lot more easy to see which fics are what category without having to click them all separately.

And for the overlapping, I've seen a lot of creators who just use all the symbols that go with the fic, if it's hurt/comfort and angst they just use to symbols for example.

It's definitely not obligated, but I just want to share my opinion cause I've found symbols quite nice in the past :)

lmao i get what you mean at the very end but the thing in my mind that kind of actually annoys me about masterlists (more so than using symbols to indicate angst/flulff/smut) is that in my masterlists, i could liverally have a 3k word fic and then right under it a 300 word blurb.

and i feel like because i don't have enough fics spread out for each genre/character so i can't make separate sections for them. idk if what i'm saying is confusing but i'll use an example from another creator's masterlist. so we have example 1 by @iamgonnagetyouback, and example 2 by @xoxochb (sorry it just feels like plagiarism if i don't tag them).

now the thing with example 1 is that it's a masterlist for one specific character, and i don't know if i have enough fics to separate masterlists into characters alone. like i could always do it for certain groups of ppl, like i have for my marauders masterlist. but my marauders masterlist is already pretty long, and i feel like it gets complicated if i do it that way. so it wouldn't be my favourite way to do it. but does that mean i should just do it anyway on the masterlists i already have? like who does it hurt?

but then example 2 is what i feel like i would want to do, but again, i don't have enough fics for each individual character to do something ike that so i'm kind of just all over the place.

i think what i'll do is just change my masterlists. have those thin line divider bc idk why they become so thick on the actual post. and then i'll try to make them look cute and minimalist bc idk why i feel like they look so crowded rn and that's not what i want them to look like!!!

Honestly, if my kinks show up in shows at all, they're often done perfectly bc people don't think they're sexual so don't have to pretend they're not (eg. The Stig being essentially a moto-drone like WOW) or the entire premise of the show is based around it (... like Super Sentai and Kamen Rider, even though the suits have not been as sexy as I'd like lately) lmao. Bodysuits are pretty easy to style casually! If you're talking more leotard style that are like a top with a crotch and no legs then a really sexy thing to do is wear low waisted bottoms so the skin on your hips is showing. Kind of like an advanced whaletail lol. Looks best if the bottoms are big baggy jeans/trackies or really slutty tiny pleated/otherwise voluminous miniskirts, I'd stay away from anything tight, small top big bottom energy yk. If you're talking about the full-body tight catsuit type, I think they're always gonna look a bit costumey, but you can still style them. Wearing a cropped/waist-length non-tight jacket over the top always looks super cool, look at 80s Rogue from X-Men! A floor-length coat would look cool too, rather than balancing the silhouette like with the baggy jeans or puffy jacket, it reduces the sex-costumey look by de-dramatising the silhouette by giving it a solid background. There's a lot of ways to play around! Bodysuits are essentially an inner layer the way tshirts and leggings used to be lol so you can honestly do whatever but I think if you want to be stylish you can't go wrong with the balancing act.

Your respond made me question if those “fans” will ever accept Sam’s new partner that is not Katrina (or Colby lol). The way i see it even Malia was more welcomed than Katelyn (although both of them had a cold start). I think nowadays i see more people loving Malia and actually accepting her, than hating on her. Thing that I fear Kateyn would not be ale to achieve if she stayed. And my only reason for that it’s because people felt too attached to Katrina, even people who supposedly “hated her” or claimed she is “using Sam” got used to her just being there and being Sam’s gf that i fear they will never let that go (especially that if i am not wrong Katrina is still single) and every other Sam’s new gf will be compared to Katrina and hated by the fandom, because for them “Katrina and Sam are clearly MADE for each other 😣”. the sam and kat thing is very odd to me, especially when you see fans say "he'll never do better than her". first and foremost, i get being upset that they ended, sure. but saying that sounds gross to me for some reason. like i think you can lift up kat and say she's gonna have a good life without him and will eventually find love without saying that he somehow is never gonna be happy again. that type of behavior and thought process is so childish. it's not like he was abusive, he broke up with her bc he just couldn't marry her and making her wait even longer would have been worse for their relationship.

while it's clear they aren't on the best of terms anymore, i think hating him (or her, bc god knows she gets hate too) is just weird. you don't have to hate either of them. their relationship didn't end in flames or bc they hate each other. you don't have to make it a versus all the time. there is no winner in this outcome.

as for katelyn and malia… the issue is messy. personally, i think both girls got the short end of the stick. they both got a crazy amount of hate (and malia still does) and i expected part of that to happen eventually when colby got a gf, but i think bc kat wasn't with sam anymore, it became like a shit storm instantly since it wasn't just colby getting a gf.

katelyn had so many lies spread about her in relation to kat it's not even funny. ppl were claiming they were friends before and thus she took sam from her (not true at all. they did possibly follow one another before hand, but their only connection was tess, who wasn't exactly bffls with kat). ppl claimed katelyn talked badly about kat, even tho all the clips i've seen have been not even remotely noteworthy, let alone something to throw hate at her for. i kinda think the reason why katelyn got a lot of hate is bc, as i've said countless times before on here, this fandom has an inability to critique sam. they will do everything in their power to not give him hell even tho they do it all the time to colby. so i weirdly think that bc this fandom couldn't be mad at sam for moving on too quickly from kat or for seemingly """replacing""" her, they chose katelyn to take their anger out on. but even that eventually wore itself thin and for the first time, i actually saw ppl genuinely hate on sam the same way they do colby. which was both refreshing and depressing all at the same time lol

i also think katelyn is just weird enough to be annoying to a lot of ppl, and bc of that, immediately she sucks. i obviously don't feel that way about her, but i can get why some wouldn't love her. in addition, i think she tried a bit too hard to be liked in this fandom and that drove ppl nuts. and she introduced colby to malia, which means she was public enemy #1 for a lot ppl. i mean, i literally heard someone full on dox her during a space on twitter and then call her a whore just bc she's dating sam. while the fandom wasn't in love with kat the moment they met her, they never went this far.

as for malia, i've seen some truly heinous shit said about her. like i'm talking fake dms with nudes (that obviously weren't hers), cheating allegations, fans making fun of her filler and boob job, fans calling her a whore and a slut for merely wanting to show off her body, she has no personality (even tho we've never even heard her speak so…. explain how you just know that), colby chose her over shea (which is just not true at all), the list goes on and on. i think the hate for her has calmed down a lot bc i think 1, she never tries to talk to fans except the occasional reply on a TikTok comment. i honestly think her not trying to befriend the fandom has worked out for her a lot more than katelyn's attempt at being our bestie. and 2, i think that bc colby shows her off (in a way that sam never did katelyn) we can see that colby is happy with malia. unless you're a hater; then bc they pose too much in pictures or *checks notes* never smile with one another that means they are faking it.

For a short answer, I reblog whatever I want, my intent when reblogging is to reblog content I enjoy- simple as that- but I also reblog to show my mutuals/followers content that I believe was made by someone who is passionate about their work and is proud of what they make, I don't want to reblog content that feels washed and was made for the sole purpose of like farming :/

For a long answer:

First of all, I don't consider myself a "big blog", maybe a medium sized blog, internet-logic has rotted my brain to believe that below a million followers is small so take that as you will (im healing from this mindset tho lmao), but I'm frankly not as big as some people on this platform/simblr (which doesn't matter, all our content is phenomenal regardless, 0 followers or 10k followers), I don't know what gave you that impression 😭 I only recently hit 150 followers and just recently started to get a lot of interactions, which was surprising, but moreso Im just glad more people get to see Roo 😵‍💫 So again, I say I do not feel as tho I am a big blog :P Second of all, I reblog whatever content I enjoy, sometimes it's sims, sometimes its not, and when I reblog it, yes I do have the intent of sharing it to my mootys and followers so that it can be seen, but the intent is showing off work that people are passionate about, if you blatantly care about likes or reblogs or follows, it WILL show up in your work, it will be obvious, and more often than not, your content will not be as ingestible as content from someone who literally lives and breaths on making characters and showing their lore. I also don't reblog every post I see, not because I don't think it's "good enough," but because I don't want to swarm my blog with tens of hundreds of posts, be it sims or not. I see SOO many simblr posts where I'm like damn I wanna reblog this but I don't know what to say, or I dont have anything to say (which I should specify that this does NOT lower the quality of the post by all means), at which point I feel bad for reblogging and not having anything to say- I'm also... not legally required to reblog every post I see, my mutuals make phenomenal posts, doesn't mean I need to reblog their stuff, if they are upset because I didn't reblog their work, then that's just someone who cares about likes/reblogs and I don't like those kinda ppl 🤷‍♂️ U should be on simblr to enjoy and share your work, not to get some useless internet points on a post. I've recycled this mindset into "I don't wanna post because I want likes and reblogs, I wanna post because I want people to perceive my brainrot in real time", what I mean by that is that I just want to post just to share my stupid characters, which usually is Roo. The likes/reblogs mindset is and can be super unhealthy for you, and again, I recommend getting out of it, recycle it into something less taxing on the mind.

also I just wanna say that if I reblogged EVERY post I liked/saw, I would have over 20,000 posts and I just KNOW everybody would be annoyed as piss if I reblogged stuff at that frequency (since in order for me to achieve that number, I'd have to reblog like, 100-500 posts every 12 hours 💀)
