This comic takes place during Seeing Stars while Blitz and Stolas are on their way to the studio!

I had to drag this piece kicking and screaming over the finish line. When I first got the idea and started working on it, I had a very different rendering approach I was experimenting with. I finished the entire comic in that style then immediately decided I hated it 😂 I liked the lines for the most part, but not enough to keep, so in the end I just... redrew the entire thing using the original as a reference (don't do what I do). And still this comic irks me. From a technical perspective I actually like it quite a bit; I'm satisfied with the way I drew Blitz and Stolas, at the very least. But in terms of what the comic evokes(?) I'm not not 100% happy with it (or even 90%). It's like a 'this art doesn't make me feel what I wanted it to make me feel' type of dissatisfaction, which is, unfortunately, kinda tough to resolve. I'm a big believer in embracing your failures (and in moving on when frustration is no longer serving you) so this was getting posted no matter how it turned out and eventually I'd run out of desire to work on it further. But I still wanted to let some of these feelings out because it's been awhile since art made me feel that way! And I think it's nice to let other people see the artist perspective sometimes even when it isn't totally positive. On the bright side, it was fun to experiment with a lot of things in this piece! Also this comic was actually finished weeks ago and I've already moved to a better place with my art. This kind of frustration is usually a precursor to growth anyways, so it's best to just be patient and ride it out 😌 Hope this little rant wasn't too much of a downer! The last thing I want is to take away people's enjoyment of the art by being too critical of myself <3 Here's a little peek at the original style! In retrospect, it actually wasn't that bad, I'm just more a fan of the starker, un-rendered look I eventually went with:

Time to properly introduce Sovi!! 🥰

I've got one or two headcanons in here that I think vibe with a decent chunk of the fandom (aside from my silly little shipping) but if you don't agree that's also cool and I love you anyway

Sovi [sah-vee] is a very physical person both socially and intellectually; they like to get right up close and personal with hugs and cuddles instead of saying nice things (or wrestling instead of arguing), and prefer to write things out (if possible) than let a computer store or process data for them (they didn't realize their ship computer was in the loops with them for ages because they didn't use it to record much of anything - not having the info stored at first was a trial and a half). Since they're more inclined to physical communication, they can take a few seconds too long to understand things said to them if they aren't expecting it.

A lot of their childhood was spent following Slate and Hornfels around. They vibe with numbers hard. Math of almost any kind comes naturally, so both S & H found Sovi's help useful as they learned more and eventually got to doing the maths faster than them. Along the way they picked up some engineering skills which helped with the Nomai translator as well as more advanced astrophysics when they got older. If there wasn't a time loop, Sovi probably would've spent a solid chunk of their first trip into space working with Chert on those star charts of theirs (after visiting the others).

Being such a touchy-feely little nerd got them close to two fellow touchy-feely nerds: Riebeck and Gabbro. As besties, their interests and personalities rubbed off a little. Rie-rie got Sovi into Nomai language and history, and Gabbs got them into quantum theory and Relaxing 😌. And of course, because I'm me, once they were a Real Hearthian Adult, those childhood friendships evolved to where they are when the loops start; fully-fledged romantic relationships! Yay :]

That's Sovi!! They'll develop more as I make more art and comics I'm sure, but I figured they were due a funny little reference page and a dedicated poast now that they have a Personality and a lil backstory 🥰

12. Johnny Storm (Fantastic Four 2004)

I do like a guy with charm (as we will see further up the list - it's pretty much charming, asshole, or broody characters lmao) but I always seem to just....forget about him 💀 I think it's partly due to the fact that in the comics he's known to be a cheat and that puts me right off. His jokes and flirting win me over and I do appreciate his goofy/playful side but unfortunately, he's staying put 🥲 it also may be because also I like slightly older guys and he would be around my age

9. Jack O'Malley (Red One)

Sexy divorced dad 😌 A bit of a sleaze like Pete HOWEVER he is goofy enough that I could let it slide. He gets put higher because he learns to be a better person - he has that I could fix him vibe. And by fix I mean less gambling and a shower.

However, if we're talking beginning of the movie, he'd 2000% take advantage of your kindness. You wanna do acts of service? By all means. Expect nothing in return though. (Hence his ranking)

8. James Mace (Sunshine)

Surprisingly low for me! I do love a broody, moody side character HOWEVER I'm terrible at confrontation and yelling (two of Mace's fave things lmao) so he's earned his place here. After yelling at you for something he'd either be a sweetheart realising after you were upset or double down. But you wouldn't exactly want to be subject to it more than once in a blue moon, ygm?

7. Ransom Drysdale (Knives Out)

I am sorry Sweater Daddy but you're best placed here 😔. Three words: Spoiled. Rich. Kid. Which some of the others do fall into BUT Ransom in particular would be a terror, I believe. Partly due to his upbringing but my patientce would TESTED.

If you were nice to Ransom he'd take advantage but potentially feel bad about it.... much, much later. Or, you know, realise that you're soft for him and have no ulterior motives and he will just melt into goo. He's not used to having people be nice without strings 🥺

6. Ari Levinson (Red Sea Diving Resort)

It's the beard. It has to be. Cheeky smile and a wink I'd just melt. That's it. No more to add xoxoxo

5. Steve Rogers (MCU)

I THOUGHT SKINNY STEVE WAS HOT TOO 😤 (forever mad at the peanut scene in TFA 😤)

Every Steve is a good Steve imo - one of the first CEvans crushes I ever did have 😚 probably because of the movies there's a lot of interesting aspects to his character (but we will be ignoring the Endgame ending 👀). Honourable, loyal, kind... you know this man is a romantic at heart (but I still eat up dark!Steve fics too). You just know he'd treat you RIGHT 😍

4. Frank Adler (Gifted)

A new addition! I watched Gifted a few weeks ago and I'm??? So soft??? He's a bit of a double threat, grumpy but also charming. And like with my top two I am SOFT for a guy who's good with kids (which is why Andy and Jack don't rank higher 💀). I'm hoping to finish the fic I have for him ASAP.

3. Lloyd Hansen (The Gray Man)

This is a very big HEAR ME OUT 💀

I love love love campy villains who are still able to be terrifying. I was unsure about the 'tache at first and thought it would be a completely serious role and was PLEASANTLY surprised that he was just as dramatic, sassy asshole.

So, naturally, I love him.

Also, really well dressed. Apart from the loafers which make me cackle - tights shirt and pants??? Um, yes please? Don't even get me started on the ring.

2. Curtis Everett (Snow Piercer)

Brutish. Giving Stray dog vibes. In desperate need of a cuddle (and shower and hot food). Also one that surprised me, actually. I'd read fics, seen clips but then I watched snowpiercer... and yeah, like Frank I was down bad. Despite writing him with the emotional capacity of a brick, I like to think that he's soft after warming up to you.

Not one for grand gestures but the little things to make you smile or make your day easier.

Oh and also scary dog privilege whenever you go out together 🫶

Soooo I'm panicking?? 😭😭. Alright, alright, let me explain everything. And oh boy this is a MESS 🙃.

So I (21/ male / monkey demon??? I'm questioning this 😭) have been going through what my best friend calls trauma, but I call ✨ tough heroing✨, and I'm not gonna lie I am maybe a tiny bit tired…. Okay who am I kidding I'm exhausted. I knew it wasn't easy to fight bad guys but I didn't expect to save the world thrice in less than a year 😅. How did my mentor did it for so long??? For context my mentor (super old/ male / monkey) is a retiring hero who's teaching me the ropes, we'll call him Mentor, cause that's what he is, you get it? Lol.

Anyway, it was a very busy year, and on top of that I learned that I'm maybe not quite the normal delivery guy. I'm like a monkey? But apparently I was created to die and save the world which is… tbh I didn't fully processed that yet 😬. But the body change was rough, to say the least. Having a tail sounds cool right? It isn't. I can't tell you guys how much I broke things by accident because of this darned thing 😤. This thing is UNCONTROLLABLE!

I thought my body would be the only thing to change but apparently it's not. Lucky me 😭. I have these instincts now. It started with little funny things, like wanting to groom my friends. That's cute, right? But then it developed into a whole mess. Sometimes I have the urge to climb things for no reason. Or steal shiny things. Or sometimes I just can't control myself and ends up yelling at rude customers (I also work at a noodle shop on top of heroing). Mentor says it's normal, that it's something every young monkey demon experiences and it might be a bit more intense for me cause all the instincts unlocked themselves when I unlocked my monkey form. Does that make sense for you guys??? 😅 Sorry, it's a bit hard to explain.

Anyway, all this to say that I've been a bit moody as of late, my best friend (21 / female / super cool dragon), we'll call her Awesome cause she's awesome, says it's like I have mood swings. And it's very frustrating. I already went through puberty and now I have to go through DEMON puberty. It's very uncool 😔. So I've been kinda down lately. To cheer me up Awesome told me about a nice party going downtown. She wouldn't be able to attend cause of family stuff but she said I should go out and have fun.

And I was like… why not? 🤷

It was kinda nice. I was able to dance to my heart's content and talk to nice people 😌. But then when I went to order a drink, I don't know what came over me, I went for an alcoholic one. I usually don't cause I'm quite the lightweight, but I was caught in the mood and felt a bit cheerful, 😅. Somehow I thought it's been a long time since I drank so maybe my tolerance went up? Like maybe with my training, you know, I built some new tolerance?

Yeah.

I ended up drunk 😬.

Things were a bit blurry after that. A fight broke out between two drunk guys, I intervened cause being a hero push me to do stupid stuff like that 🙃. I sided with one of the dude (we'll call him Rainbow cause he has a VERY colorful back, he's around my age for info) cause the other was being a huge douchebag. But obviously the bouncers didn't side with us but with the jerk. Typical 😭. So me and Rainbow were thrown out.

Rainbow seemed as drunk as me. I didn't get to see him that well in the dark but well we talked on the sidewalk, complained about the bouncers and the jerk and I guess we kinda clicked, ya know?

Then monkey instinct went brrrrrrr.

Like, I don't know, I felt lonely and I had a nice guy next to me and even if I didn‘t truly know how he looked I didn't really care at the time. 😭.

Normally I'm not THAT forward.

So… we ended up going in his nearby flat and, yeah… we slept together 🫣.

Okay. Okay. Don't judge me. I normally don't do one night stands. I actually don't have that much going on in my love life. But monkey hormones man… those are hard to control 😭.

So I wake up the next day with wrost headache on earth, swearing to myself that I'll never drink again. Then I remember some details of last night and I'm like : Oh man… I’m screwed. So after my mini panick attack, I decide to handle things nicely. Like, okay, I don't do one-night stands, but I can handle this with CLASS. like it's gonna be awkward but I'm just gonna tell Rainbow goodbye and never talk about this.

So I hear Rainbow waking up, he seems to have quite the headache too. So I turned towards him, prepared to handle this nicely, but then I see Rainbow… I didn't see him that well last night and well, huh, during our activities I wasn't really looking at his face. But now it's clear.

Rainbow is a spider demon.

And for info I have a bad case of arachnophobia 😭.

So instant reaction, I punch him, grab my clothes and run away.

After calming down, I feel awful. Like poor guy. He didn't deserve to be punched. And I can pack a mean punch. I also noticed that I left my jacket at his place and mind you it's a limited edition Monkey King jacket so I HAVE to get it back.

But now I don't know how I'll be able to face him ☠️. I don't really want to talk to my friends about this either cause they'll laugh at me for sure.

Since my co-worker is on vacation and we only work one shift (aka mine) I am swarmed the entire day and I have cried from stress nearly every day this week and I basically never cry. Also I had customer yell at me and threaten me two days ago and I was certain he would attack me?? He might've if another customer didn't walk in and it was for his mistake too. And when I tried to tell him that and offer to correct it, he got worse. Thankfully my manager is really nice and he told me I could've called him and police and that I should next time.

I really miss being here and every day and interacting with people but like...I barely see my dog because most of them home is spent sleeping. And the play I'm in is in like two weeks and I didn't have time or energy to properly learn my lines yet and we're supposed that have rehearsals before work next week and ngl I feel like throwing myself off of the building. (And I didn't even start with my final paper for college). Also I had bit of a cold and hell of a sore throat, I could barely speak and it hurt to swallow :((

There was so much I wanted to talk about and comment on but I literally don't have energy to type and I wish I could psychically send my thoughts to my phone. I hope you're doing better than I am though ✨🫶🏻 I'm on a hunt for less stressful job, hopefully something online so I can do it when I start college again this year (after two years).

he doesn't bother arguing with you about who's more protective, because he's willing to let you believe whatever you want. Because he knows. You may be fiercely protective, but he would literally kill a man for you. Die for you. Live for you. He would do absolutely anything for you.

He knows of your tendency to overwork yourself, and is a master at gently pushing you in the right direction to taking care of yourself.

God, he is the master of gentleness. His every move is quiet, literally. If he doesn't have to be loud, he won't be, not that he minds noisiness. It's the perfect opportunity for you to spend time with him, lay your medicine facts on him! He loves to listen.

He's definitely not averse to touch either, if the way he's so easy to casually lean close to someone is any indication. With others, he won't touch them when he leans close to them like that. Too hesitant to actually touch them.

i'm not really into making new years resolutions, mostly bc i know the way that i am and that my attention span flutters around and i tend to cycle through interests in phases that come and go at random, but i do think it would be nice to give instrument practice a try again since i have SEVERAL and only really learned the basics on some. plus my partner has others ive never learned. it would be nice if i would actually take time to learn something to the point i could do something with it lol.

instruments, and also languages again. but specifically refining what i know of spanish. a few years ago, i'd hit the point where i wasnt quite bilingual, but i was somewhat close to that mark. i could practice talking to my dad [spanish is his first language] on the phone and hold decent conversations, and i'd gone with a few of my classmates in high school one summer on a sort of exchanged program we had with a school in spain for a few weeks, and i could fumble my way through conversations with my host family parents who didn't really speak english. [it was a bilingual school so the students def knew english better than we knew spanish lol but i still learned a bit and it was really fun]

but u know what they say... use it or lose it... i've gotten rusty for sure 😔 i took spanish in middle/high school for like five years? up to ap spanish senior year, which our teacher said youre essentially fluent by then, plus in elementary school we always had basic spanish classes. i was going to try and minor in spanish in college, but i was kind of overloading myself that first year and was also STRUGGLING to keep up with the reading for spanish class. i already am a slow reader just in general [i would also struggle to keep up with reading assignments in english classes so it was extra hard in a language i was still trying to grasp] so i ended up dropping the minor pretty quickly after i'd had i think the semester requirement. i was bummed, but i needed to keep my head afloat with what i could handle.

but then i really wasnt using it as much. my dad's pretty much the only person in my life that's a spanish speaker - he and his whole family are bilingual, but i'm not very close to his side of the family and theyre spread out all over the place anyway. my dad and i also have a complicated realtionship sometimes lol but also over time we stopped speaking in spanish as much. fairly recently when he called me he started speaking in spanish, and i was like, in the middle of something when he called me and not really in the mood to talk anyway, plus i just couldnt hear him well on the phone lol so i was like ??? and he just kinda laughed and was like ohhh youve lost it, you dont remember 😌 and ive been in kind of an internal crisis since then lol

my parter also said the other night there was a family outside that asked him for directions but they only spoke spanish so he kinda had to fumble his way through it, and he was like "you probably woudlve done better" cause while we both learned some degree of spanish and have a mixed latino family background, i learned and used it a bit more for a time. but tbh i dont think i wouldve been able to help!!! bc ive forgotten a lot!!! it's one of those things where like i think i could probably recall a lot once i had it refreshed, but pulling from memory is like... dial tone.... and also the social anxiety is a major thing. like i always really wanted to reach the bilingual state because i do like that part of my culture, and i know a lot of my family on my dad's side grew up bilingual but i didnt really because blah blah parents divorced whatever it's complicated lol. but i wanted to keep that connection to the family culture and also just because i think it's good for people to learn multiple languages [i know other countries seem to be better at this at a base level, but here in the US it's not as much of a standard]

but i'm really bad at like, all the things you need to learn a language, even in my native english state. i'm slow at reading. i get distracted. i dont have great listening comprehension if i cant hear you perfectly clearly or there are overlapping sounds. i have social anxiety and often avoid talking to people.

you gotta read to learn. you gotta hear words to learn. you gotta have conversations to practice. ive met bilingual people whose native language is spanish and theyd always be nice and be like "oh you can always practice with me sometime!" and id be like ahahhahfhsd i will die if i do that. because im scared at being bad or really embarrassed at how much ive forgotten. so like i had chances and wouldnt use it lol. my own fault for not being proactive =_=

a few weeks ago i did once again try that method of like, playing video game in target language. i switched my animal crossing new leaf game to spanish and made a new character. that was fun, tho it also was a lot of reading and a mix of me trying to get the gist of what they were saying and having to pause and look up words if there were too many i didnt know. i think i had that same issue when i did it a while back with city folk lol it was just kinda overwhelming for me at the time and messed with the FLOW. but i think i also tried that back in high school so i think i could do a lil better now, but still.... slow.

i also was doing duolingo again for a while, but i'd heard they started using AI in their lessons and i really didnt want that to potentially have me learning things wrong without realizing based on the things i heard people saying about shit they were finding in their lessons. but ive never tried any of the other language learning app or whatever tho so i kinda just came to a halt after that. which sucks!!! because it was at least keeping me lightly practicing!!! i was learning a lil portuguese that way too for capoeira since we were doing songs and it helped that i knew spanish, but for now i think i'd be nice to just focus on one lol.

Not Duke, Not Prince -- listen I KNOW i know I bring this one up all the time but I'm proud of it ok!!!! Very much a "this was supposed to be a one-shot and got out of hand" type deal and I'm very glad it is because it's the first time in a long while I've branched away from romance and done something closer to my horror/thriller writing, and it got me thinking of even more!! Character-specific, it gave me another avenue to explore Billy's relationship with his dad and other father figures in my own way, which felt nice to get out!

Brother, My Lover -- My latest finished piece and the beginning of my journey as a Gemstones writer, so for that it holds a very special place in my heart <3 but I'm also happy with the voices and dialogue, especially since it's something I used to struggle with A LOT and mull over for weeks and hate, so knowing that I've grown enough as a writer to capture such unique voices in a way that has resonated with readers and felt natural has made my year tbh :') plus just... there is so much more to create with Kelvin and Keefe, man. + Tony's my fix rn I adore that guy so much

Soft to the Touch -- Very self-indulgent scene that, I think, very much encapsulates my favorite element of sex scenes lol, which is to say the overwhelming intimacy and love the characters have for each other. Steve loving on Billy will literally never ever ever in a million billion years get old. I need that shit more than oxygen, it makes me feel so good 😌

Friends in Low Places -- Very rare Disco Mungrove work that reminded me how much I love westerns and writing the particular sense of yearning that comes with the setting. I was in a very specific headspace while writing it, especially because of the grief it explores in a way that I hadn't really done before. Again, it (along with Stargazing for Harringrove FRI) opened the doors for me to be more ambitious with subject matter. Especially since grief/mourning isn't something I handle well irl, it helps to process that through fiction.

Irrepressible Us -- Earlier work I wrote for a Discord server event that made me stop being afraid of a/b/o lmao, especially because I'm very picky about it, so it was nice to realize how loose it really is as a genre and work to my, and my giftee's, tastes. It was nice to write Billy & Max with a strong relationship for the first time in a while too, which differs greatly from the fic I wrote prior. All around good learning experience :)

Hey Alina. I need some advice please.

I need to choose which degree to study at university. I've been offered a space for a few different degrees at a few different institutions. Most of them only need me to let them know by January, but one of the universities wants me to decide this weekend to accept one application and decline one.

I'm a very creative person who loves many forms of art, although I am very capable in maths and science too. My parents say that I'm an expensive pet to keep because I like living a relatively lavish lifestyle, so they recommended that I get a degree and a job that pays enough for me keep up with the type of lifestyle that I'm used to.

The one degree that I applied for is artistic so I think I would enjoy it and absolutely love what I'd do. The other degree is science related in a field that I currently don't know much about, but it seems slightly interesting. I've been told that it's really difficult to get a scholarship in art and it's also really difficult to find a job in art. It also apparently doesn't pay very well. It's a lot easier to get a scholarship to study science, it's easier to get a research job and it typically pays a lot better than art.

I'm in a bit of a pickle, because I really don't know which offer to accept and which to decline. On the one hand, I'd love to be able to utterly enjoy what I do everyday, but I don't want to have to worry about financial struggles. I could probably get used to a simpler lifestyle with less worldly things. It doesn't sound too bad because I'm not that materialistic, but I would prefer not having to worry about just getting by day to day. On the other hand, I don't know too much about the science-related degree, but it seems interesting, so it shouldn't be so bad. It will pay well and I might still be able to do art on the side as a hobby if I have time, but I'm hesitant to get myself into something that I don't fully understand yet. The science thing is currently out of my depth, but I'm sure I could learn more about it, so it won't seem so daunting.

What do you think? Art degree that I love, but with few jobs and little pay? Or science degree that I might not like as much, but I'll be able to have a better lifestyle financial wise?

I have applied for about 20 other things too, but I'll make my decisions about those in January. For now, I just need to narrow these two down. I might end up having to just do art on the side so I can actually earn a living, but who knows?

In an ideal world, I'd study art and do it to my heart's content and just get a rich hubby 😌😜. Unfortunately I don't see that happening any time soon. I need TPOL!Jungkook in my life 🥲

I know you are really passionate about art and it’s your best subject and I know we should always do the things we are passionate about but I think that we also need to build a stable future so I think you could do that with the science major and yes, it is also very nice to Gain knowledge about something you are not really familiar with. And art is a really great subject but like you said it doesn’t really pay much and we don’t want to worry about you know financial issues.

If I were you, I would have chosen the science major. Because you can pursue art at any time in your life art never goes away honestly.

my favourite sound in any language is the gn- sound in italian, it’s SO satisfying. it’s like a ñ (nya) sound and i LOVE it 😭 italian is generally quite easy (in my opinion) because it’s phonetic, so if you learn the sounds and phonics then you can say anything - then it’s all down to memorising vocab and grammar. (and we have less letters in the alphabet 😉😌)

i desperately want to learn abruzzese but there are NO resources to learn because it’s a dialect which is so rarely talked about. some of my family are from sicily too so it would be nice to learn sicilian, luckily that’s a lot easier to learn than abruzzese which basically only the village nonna™️ spoke… 😂

the best kind of kids tv shows are the ones that spend a whole episode on a word, sound, or letter (for example like: “can you say house?” and then they teach you sounds like -ou, -h, -se, etc). i just do as much as possible in the language i want to learn, so i switched the language in apps i use often to italian, etc.

oh i actually forgot about switching gp’s, thanks for reminding me 😅 i’ll look into that RIGHT NOW. hopefully it’s all good and easy, i’ve been with this gp for a while now so i think a change would be good.

I saw you weren't feeling well, I'm sorry about that... I've been pretty down, too, lately. Sometimes it feels like I don't know how to do anything worthwhile. I don't know if that's where you're at, but I hope whatever it is, the feeling passes quickly for you!

I got a 3/4 size guitar for Christmas when I was 12, but didn't learn how to play it until college! And even then, it was pretty much all self-taught — I had a book of Beatle song guitar chords (just the chords, no tabs), and that's pretty much what I learned on. I consider myself to be solidly mediocre! 😂 I can't play anything the way it's supposed to be played, but I can do a picking pattern over the chords and sing along. As for piano, I had lessons as a kid, so I can read music... but it takes me months to learn a song lol!

Oh, I love For No One! That's actually one of the first songs I taught myself to play, which was quite the endeavor for a brand new guitarist 😂 You're so right about the emotions in that one, it's so beautiful. And that's definitely something I also love about Revolver, it's just exploding with ideas from start to finish....

Also, WOW "Blood Bag, Mind Drag" was beautiful! I can absolutely see the prog influence in some of the chord and rhythm patterns you used, it created such an incredible atmosphere over the song. And your vocal performance was perfect for the song, too, just amazing!

I've written a few songs, though I've never recorded any... maybe I'll try to get something recorded to send your way after Christmas, though, that might be a super fun goal to try and meet! And if you're still interested, then, I'd totally be up for trying out something with Cadence and Cascade 👀

Well, Beatles chords are a lot more advanced than if you’d had a songbook by some other bands 😆 I bet you’re a lot better than you think you are. It takes me a shamefully long time to figure out chords without tabs and most of the time I don’t even know what I’m playing, I just try to make it sound good 💀 I relate very hard on taking ages to learn a song through reading: I started with guitar at 7 and it was all classical so with every new piece I had to read at first but once I learned the movements I’d just memorise those and never look at the sheet again 😅

Honestly that’s impressive! 🤩 Sometimes you just have to go for it even if you think something is above your skill because even if it’s true with time and practice it won’t be anymore (me trying to learn Horizons at 11 lol, took me about 10 years to perfect it but I got there eventually). Apparently in an interview or a documentary (I don’t remember the source sorry 😟) Keith Emerson said something along the lines of trying to intentionally compose music he didn’t think he could play so he’d have to push himself and learn. Anyway, I digress haha
