Does Wildfur (cat mentioned as having their back broken and dying of lung infection) get any expansion? They're only mentioned once but knowing how bad the family trees are im guessing they've been stuffed in somewhere (plus i love the name)
My DUDE!!!
MASSIVE expansion. GIGANTIC one. ACTUALLY shows up on screen and is an important supporting character, I actually need to re-do this character summary at some point because it leaves a LOT of the new stuff out.
Wildfur is going to show up as an important character in two side stories; Blackstar's, and a brand new novella for Cinderpelt.
Cinderpelt's is just a fun side novella about her friendship with Littlecloud. I don't even really have a message in mind for it. It's just exploring the brief but fascinating era where the Clan cats were trading with BloodClan.
Wildfur gets disabled by a car in that one, and Cinderpelt and Littlecloud put their heads together to invent that mobility device.
I want to show the "evolution" of some technologies as the series progresses, so this is the mobility device that Jessy eventually improves upon for Briarlight!
It helps him overcome a really bad state of depression, which was what was causing him to lay around and catch infection over and over.
In Blackstar's SE, Wildfur's just a friend of Blackstar's.
He's an example of the sorts of cats that TigerClan and Brokenstar would have discarded or given up on. Blackstar's SE is about him sitting with that.
I kinda want him to be the father of Ambermoon through surrogacy. Brightheart and Cloudtail are the bioparents. He just kinda feels like a dude with a punk daughter with a name like that.
He goes on the Great Journey in that mobility device, but needs to be carried at several points.
The Clans aren't going to leave behind the old and disabled like in canon jesus christ. That was super fucked up actually
"Elders are respected and cared for :)" my ASS
In terms of personality;
He's super vain and haughty, VERY proud person. Rockstar vibes.
Takes great care of his hair
Different people take their disability differently, especially when it massively alters your life. Compared to Briarlight, Wildfur actually had an easier time adjusting once his depression subsided.
Unlike Briar, he was never a very active or athletic person.
He doesn't mind being an elder, it means he gets to do whatever he wants and boss apprentices around. Pretty sweet deal tbh.
Campbound activities are more his style. He keeps an extra eye on the kits, likes to help out kitchen patrol. Has a lot to do with flax processing.

Spark's other parent
I know the identity of Spark's other parent. Long post under the cut
Ok, so this is about a game called Cattails Wildwood Story. I wholeheartedly recommend it, it's sometimes described as "stardew valley but cats" and while there is no farming, the relationship system is quite similar, and maybe even better in some aspects (dialogue for every relationship stage which is 12 if you marry the npc, specific dialogue for when your hunger or health is low, getting gifts, you have a birthday, etc.). But if you're reading this, you probably already know all that! So, let's get into it.
So, the identity of Spark's other parent has never been explicitly confirmed, however I have a strong theory on who it may be.
Often it is speculated that Spark's other parent is a member of the Forest Colony. Or another colony. And while it seems likely, there is one singular piece of dialogue from Ember, which you get at 3 hearts, that puts all that into question.
"I spent some time as a house cat, (Name). Well, sort of. The humans let me come and go as I pleased, but they always left out food for me. It was a decent life, but I could never go back to it. That's when I met my ex. Too many bad memories associated with that time in my life."
So from that dialogue we find out that Ember used to be a house cat and that they met their ex partner and the other parent of Spark during that time. Is there a game where Ember is a house cat and we can find out more about them?
Well, there is.
So, for those of you who are familiar with the Warrior Cats book series (and that's probably 99% of Cattails players. It's not needed to enjoy or understand it, as even the game developer hasn't read it, just the field guides because his little sister wanted a game about her favourite book, but worth a try if you want to understand how Cattails became what it is today), you might have heard of a game Warrior Cats Untold Tales.
It's a game that was made by the Cattails developer. For those of you who haven't heard of it, it's an old game that you can download on your computer for free. It's very low quality when it comes to graphics and gameplay, but hey. It's better that 99.9% of what you can find on mobile for free. It's basically a very early version of Cattails when it comes to mechanics. If you take Cattails and take away Stardew Valley, you're pretty much left with a higher quality version of WC:UT. It's an oversimplification and obviously Cattails is more that the combination of these games. Just trying to give you a general idea what it's like. It's worth a try - after all, it is free. There will be spoilers here for the part with Ember - because as you probably can tell, they are in the game.
So, as you play the game, you might encounter a cat named - yeah you guessed it - Ember. They're a kittypet (the clan cats' name for a house cat) and willing to show you their house and let you visit them and possibly live there if you pay 40 reputation points (representing the fact that it's dishonorable for a clan cat to accept anything from humans). Now if it wasn't for that one piece of dialogue, I'd just think that it doesn't take place in the same universe - but given what Ember said, it probably does.
When you visit Ember, you find out they live with an owner named George and a little kitten named Fuzzy who you can play hide and seek with. But you can also find a passage to BloodClan (for those of you who don't know, it's a group of street cats that are kinda evil and look like Charlotte). There is one cat that is white (unfortunately I couldn't find a high quality photo, just look up "warrior cats untold tales thrash"). His (that's right, that cat is referred to as "he") name is Thrash (not a typo, that's legit his name. I was today years old when I found out his name isn't Trash) and he can actually live with you and Ember and Fuzzy! If you let him live in the owner's closet, he will give you something every day, but Fuzzy won't play hide and seek with you anymore because Thrash is mean and Fuzzy is upset that you let him in the house.
So, it is plausible that Thrash and Ember fell in love when that happened and had a kitten. Now, I have no idea how Ember got to the Forest Colony, but I am almost certain that Thrash is Spark's father.
Also that means that Spark is half BloodClan (unlike Charlotte)

What DO you think about leopardstar?
gonna cheat a bit and copy paste a post from my old account and rewrite it to fit the question.
So, Leopardstar was dumped with a heavy burden (being a leader) at a rather young age. She thought she was doing the right thing in allying with Shadowclan, but quickly realized it wasn't. Tragic is, she cannot back down because every single member of her family/clan is threatened by her potential backing down.
Then it escalates. Tigerstar demands that Mistyfoot, Stonefur, Featherpaw and Stormpaw be executed. And even if she loves them all dearly, even if Stonefur is her deputy, she still cannot back down. The only way out is forward, otherwise they are all killed, and she cannot afford that.
Then Scourge takes care of Tigerstar and then, what does Leopardstar do?
Well she doesn't start telling other clans ''well I'm sorry but we couldn't do otherwise than follow him'' or ''he did have a point tho'' or ''sorry about Stonefur's death but it was kinda logical'' or ''we won't help you fight bloodclan 'cause it's not our problem anymore''. What she does is she thrusts the last forces of Riverclan into the battle against Bloodclan. She doesn’t try to defend herself or to avoid responsability. She just... puts her whole being and her clan into atoning.
Then she amends her freakin' ways. She didn't like Graystripe for being from another clan/somehow responsible for Whiteclaw's death? But she will be open-minded enough to accept Sasha's kits. She fights her fears by accepting them even if Hawkkit is clearly a tiny Tigerstar. She also knows she faces the worse backlash ever if other clans realize she accepted them. She would be accused of still being on Tigerstar's side or something. But the other clans, each for different reasons, would refuse the kits of Tigerstar, and she cannot let them starve. She cannot fail them the same way she failed Featherpaw and Stormpaw.
And that's where her whole character hinges: she looks for atonement. She wants to repair the damages she did during one book and she strives to do that for the rest of her life.
She names Mistyfoot her deputy after Stonefur's death.
She refuses to unite all clans under Firestar for the great journey, then reluctantly agree, as it is this or facing annihilation. guess who else proposed to unite all clans under one banner before?
She refuses to let Hawkfrost's status as a half-clan/born outside of the clans hinder his chances, so when she thinks he is ready to be a deputy, she names him so, even if only temporarily.
She refuses other clans to meddle with Riverclan's business as often as possible.
She allies with Wind Clan when Thunderclan seems to be getting a bit over their borders.
She humbles herself into asking other clans for help during the flood in (Dark River?). Would a stubborn, proud-but-headstrong leader have done that?
She accepts Stormfur and Brook during the third arc despite her entire clan going against her, because she failed Stormfur once before, and she let Feathertail take on a mountain lion and die by not having proper surveillance of the camp the night they left, and she doesn't want to cast him out the way he was cast out with Featherpaw from Tigerclan.
She reconciles with Graystripe after his catnapping despite the blood feud between them. That shows maturity and real growth. and much, much more.
So that’s where the first post ends (I cut the conclusion because it answered the question “is she a fascist in the end or not” which is not our problem)
So for me, Leopardstar is a fascinating character. A character that didn’t realize she had made a mistake when Tigerclan was dismantled, but as soon as it was created. A character who refuses to forgive herself for a fault others forgave her for (except maybe Mistystar? I can’t remember if she forgave her or not in Mistystar’s Omen, got to reread it, but I’m pretty sure the subject is talked about).
Now, she didn’t have a perfect behaviour during her atonement. She strayed from it thrice.
Once when she refused to put her clan in certain danger in hope of an uncertain prosperity, and refused the great journey to the lake. But she changed her mind, listened to her trusted circle, and knew when to abandon the reducing security of her territory for the greater good of the clans. I suspect her refusal at first was partially due to bad memories of the last time one leader tried to unite all clans under one leadership. Bad memories that must keep haunting her because she was not a witness or a victim of that leader but an accomplice.
The second time was when she allied with Onestar against Thunderclan, and why did she do it? Because it's freaking warrior cats, not peaceful neighbours cats. War is in their blood, they are trained for war. Weakening a clan in an attack is what they do. Attacking in the middle of the night, and allying two against one, was a jerk move. I blame Sol. But fighting against another clan without killing other warriors? we can hardly blame her.
The third time was when, made mad by a disease, she tried to claim all fishes of the lake for her clan. But she was sick, and starving, and anyway the other clans were not capable of fishing. Who could blame her for trying to save her clan?
Leopardstar might have had a bad personnality, or at least not an easy-going one. But she was not a bad leader once she shed out her first season as chief of her clan.
So here we’ve got a character that, despite the whole “regretting and trying to atone” that is enough on its own to make a background character interesting, we also have a still deeply flawed character.
And all of that while still being a long-lived, intense, intimidating, assertive female leader. I generally don’t put too much attention into the gender of a character unless it’s specifically important, but given the lack of 1) female leaders and 2) female leaders whose backstory is known and actually used in their present storytelling,...
Anyway you’ve got an idea of the whole thing, I love her dearly for being actually a flawed character with a compelling although horrifying backstory, being the greatest depiction I’ve seen so far of an aiding-and-abetting-dictatorship who never wanted to be there but acknowledges their wrong and spends their life atoning. She also doesn’t have kits despite living pretty old and not being a medicine cat, which apart from Mousefur I can’t think of many she-cats like that in the books.
Anyway here was my opinion on Leopardstar. Let’s leave each other with a warrior cats meme. Credits to @warriorsbrainrot

My thoughts on Graystripe’s Vow
Let me preface this by saying that I’ve never been a huge fan of Graystripe
That said, I really enjoyed this book
I was very surprised that we got a Warriors book about growing old, but I absolutely loved that
Before I actually get into my thoughts, let me give some important character ages (all based on the events timeline on the wiki)
Graystripe is 13, or 68 in cat years
Barley is somewhere between 15 (based on him tellling Ravenpaw that he’s seen “at least two more leafbares than [Ravenpaw]”) and 17 (assuming that Scourge was at least a year old when Barley was born). That makes him 76-84 in cat years
Stormfur is 11, or 60 in cat years
Monkeystar and WarriorClan are apprentice-aged, which would make them anywhere from 6 months to a year old, or 10-15 in cat years
I loved that we got to see the effects of old age on the old cast
It really gave the feeling that a long time has passed since TPB
I’ve always wanted to see a character go back to the old forest, but I never expected it to be Graystripe
This book really brought the nostalgia
Visiting the Tribe, going to the Moonstone, sleeping in Barney’s barn
It really felt like Warriors as it was when I was growing up
I guess I’ll just go in chronological order from here on out
First of all, WHY THE FUCK WAS EVERYONE DISRESPECTING SQUIRRELFLIGHT
SHE’S TRYING HER BEST AND SHE’S DOING A GOOD JOB
I really liked that some of the younger cast got some spotlight and actual personalities
I feel like I actually kind of got to know Flipclaw, Flywhisker, and Snaptooth in this book (although we already kind of knew Flywhisker)
Why on earth did none of the editors catch that Flipclaw had a crush on his AUNT
Someone really needs to go over the family trees
I’m glad she rejected him tho
Kinda hoping for lesbian Flywhisker now (even though I know it’ll never happen)
I was a little disappointed that the wanderers broke apart so soon
I was looking forward to seeing Graystripe and Thornclaw interact with the younger cast
Alas
Flipclaw is my son now
I really thought that he was gonna die and I was STRESSED
I was super happy that Graystripe got to see Stormfur again
Flipclaw x Feather of Flying Hawk is my new OTP
I really thought they might have been hinting at the two of them becoming an item
I hope Feather followed Flipclaw home to the Clans
Brief interlude: I AM SO FUCKING GLAD THAT THEY SKIMMED OVER THE TRAVEL PORTIONS OF THIS BOOK
I really did enjoy seeing what happened to the old forest
But I wish Graystripe had gone and explored ThunderClan’s old territory and maybe tried to find the camp
(Also apparently Fourtrees is a roundabout now :/)
I LOVED WarriorClan with all my heart
It really brought back the nostalgia of LARPing warriors with my friends at recess
Monkeystar is best girl
Glad that we got confirmation that Smudge and Barley are still alive
BARLEY
First of all, it really killed me how much he missed Ravenpaw
I liked seeing Graystripe and Barley bond over the loss of their respective mates
It really felt like a proper send-off to Barley
I also appreciated that the barn owners were taking care of Barley in his old age
THEY EVEN GAVE HIM EARDROPS
The Moonstone scene had me shook
The imagery of the lightning striking the Moonstone was so cool
The old twoleg den was horrifying but also just so sad
It really killed me to see so many cats being so horrifically neglected
But it was even sadder that their owner really loved them
I’ve been waiting to see a character with dementia (Graypool was the only one we’ve seen so far, I think), but I wasn’t expecting it to be a twoleg
Seeing Petunia trying to follow her owner into the ambulance was truly heartbreaking
I hope that Petunia finds her again in whatever afterlife twolegs (and maybe kittypets) go to
I was annoyed at Stormfur for being angry that Graystripe didn’t want to stay with the Tribe
The Clans have always been his home dude
You may have noticed that I haven’t even mentioned the BloodClan conflict
I enjoyed the flashbacks, but not nearly as much as the present-day portions
I thought Gremlin would play a bigger role and I thought we’d see more of Fury
Ashfur was such a little shit I can’t
This book reinvigorated my love for the old leaders (Tallstar, Blackstar, and Leopardstar)
ALSO CINDERPELT MY LOVE
I did like Gremlin’s role as a spy
And I’m glad she found a good home with Petunia and their owner (at least until the dementia set in)
I liked seeing actual strategy in the BloodClan attack
I just wish we’d gotten to see more of Fury
I was a little disappointed that we didn’t get more interaction between Graystripe, Sootpaw, Sorrelpaw, and Rainpaw (especially since this book CONFIRMED that Willowpelt was Graystripe’s mom)
And I wish we’d gotten some kind of mention of Darkstripe
Anyways those are my thoughts on this book
I really liked it
I give it an 8/10 or maybe an 8.5
Not my favorite but still a solid book
Im rereading all the Warriors books in chronological order (I’ve gotten to Spottedleaf’s Heart, which yes, I will be reading)
I’m thinking of posting my thoughts on each book after I read it
Lmk what y’all would think of that

now that I'm very tired and my brain has practically turned off I think now is the perfect time to talk my fucking. wereworld x warrior cats au. because I'm not DONE
I'm not talking abt main plot yet that's for later. it's just lore and worldbuilding for now
every bloodline (bears, stags, crows, raptors, ect ect) can't each be their own individual clans that is FAR too many cats so I guess its all gonna be. assimilated.
idk if it's too on the nose but for now everyone will be lionclan, bearclan, jackalclan, and wolfclan. lionclan consisting of leopolds supporters (crows, rats, yk) as well as a bunch of stragglers from wolfclan and being the largest clan bc of that. bearclan would be everyone off the wolf's council (bc bergan was like the head of that yeah?) and ofc their entire families as well. ig vega's crew counts too? jackalclan is obviously omir. wolfclan is completely scattered but consisted of the gray wolves, white wolves, raptors, and probably the white bears as well? henrik just really seemed to like wergar, cutting contact w bergan over it and all
don't ask how everything was split up before the war, thinking is hard! all the lion's supporters probably made up their own thing but idk idk. I do know wolfclan and bearclan would definitely have their little alliance and their little war w jackalclan yk yk.
the lions, tigers, and panthers would be considered all one clan until the split (though they'd all have their separate territories. super alliance, basically), but idk how to. refer to that yet. "Catclan" doesn't quite have a ring to it. and I'm straight up not sure what scoria should be. bloodclan equivalent?? anyways the bastian clans are all a reasonable distance away for a bunch of cats, instead of an entire ocean.
but enough of that its ranking time and other things
since someone in wereworld has that line "the moon affects all therians" their special dead people place is moonclan instead of starclan, and their special suffix for leaders is "-moon". the suffix "-star" goes to star readers, prophecy fellas and the equivalent of magisters. every star reader is a healer, but not every healer can read the stars. yk yk.
before they were scattered, wolfclan was considered the "closest to the moon" and most intune spiritually, cuz they lived on a mountain. not like. all the way up. but they had the highest altitude, even if they were relatively low.
not sure what to do abt the whole. necromancy thing. resurrecting the dead seems a bit much for a fuckin. cat au. maybe just summoning the spirits ig?? which is kinda what hector already does anyways but like. no corpses no army of the dead none of that. yk
and now I have a headache so I will be stopping <3 but I'm definitely not done, I'm enjoying this too much
#wereworld#not gonna tag w the other thing not even gonna name it I don't want. I don't want my catified werewolf au to show up#the influence is very little it does not belong there

I was re-reading the alligiances and there are a lot of former rogurd/loners - care to share some backstory on any of em? (Also Webpaw of Shadowclan has Rowanberry/Clawedface listed as parents despite Clawedface already being mates with Stumptail and Deerfoot, what's going on there? )
haha there’s a lot of mistakes in the allegiances :’) plus I posted the wrong version in the doc and trying to replace it is a pain (ie cut and pasting the new one, which lags everything out HARDCORE) in the good version Rowanberry doesn’t have a mate (she’s aromantic) and Clawedface is in polys with Stumptail and Deerfoot and Littlepaw, Webpaw, and Palepaw are their kids
Rockpelt is Boulder renamed (because why did he not take a clan name lmao) and he was actually a member of Bloodclan before came to the forest and BOY is he TERRIFIED of the town. Poor guy won’t even go NEAR that border. He was so scared of being booted out of the clan that he followed Brokenstar willingly (though iirc he turns on him in the end to avoid being exiled alongside him)
Applefur is just kinda vibing. She saw Shadowclan and was like “hey that’s neat” and Raggedstar was like “yeah it is you wanna join” and she was like “oh FUCK yeah I do”
Stumptail and Clawedface joined together after Brokenstar saved Clawedface’s life from idk a dog or something, and being intensely loyal decided that he owed Broken a life debt. Stumptail joined because of Clawedface but also because he was like Applefur and went “OWO what’s dis?” at clan life and thought it was p neat
Blackfoot and Russetfur also joined together as ‘paws which was mostly Blackfoot finding meaning in serving a clan and Russetfur going “ugh FINE i GUESS we’ll join” because she loves her brother very much

is firestar still a thing in ur au? also Barley! Wheres mr gaycowboycat? also also, would sand be the surrogate mother if fire n raven decide having kids would be a good idea?? and and,, how is Goldenflower doing through all this? poor lady must wanna murder her ex. and what about bright and swift?? im mostly wondering about swift becuse hes goldens kid right ?
HONESTLY i havnt decided yet! maybe? if firestar doez become a thing it would be wayy later since now we hav all of beetlestarz leadership 2 go thru
gaycowboy is now gaycityslicker..... AKA without bloodclan in the picture, well street life still isnt Good, he doesnt hav a Reason to leave? instead he would rather stay with his sister..... violet is dating princess bcuz i Said So & barley is cloudtailz bio dad bcuz he surogated 4 thm! he also probably playz at least a part of helping beetle get back to the forest? perhapz
as for sand surrogating.. probably! idk if thy will tho.... i kinda lov thm as the whole clanz unclez...... if yr born in thunderclan yr their kidz it doesnt matter who yr parent is yr also adopted now! both fireheart & ravensong r trans tho so idk who the doner would b... also i guess tht meanz thy dont need sand 2 surrogate 4 thm but tht doesnt mean she wouldnt or tht thy wouldnt go 2 her 4 tht... but idk! thy might just decide 2 not hav specifically their own kitz? bcuz like... idk thy both very obviously would care deeply for their kitz but thy also dont seem like the type to seek out having thm?? if tht makez sense
the thing about tigerclawz relationship with golderflower is tht she felt romantically for him but he just felt like? fondness? which is why he was able to feel comfortable in the relationship? he needed just tht bit of deattachment pluz the feeling of the othr person being somhow below him bcuz they lov him? if tht makez sense? he likez the power imbalance of tht
but yeah probably Not Well?? itz hard 2 say bcuz this again fallz into the Ah Wait Wht Direction Do I Wanna Go Here zone......... she getz on well with whitestorm tho thy make good co-parentz... swift is adopted in this by default
the dogz..... might not be a problem? again super dependz on where i go with tigerclaw aftr the attempted murder of beetlebite tbh....... still figuring tht bit out
#askz#sidenote i went to double check violetz name n bro im cryin about ravenpaw being listed under barleyz kin as his partner.... bro im diez

So I never post, but I recently had this idea.
As you may guess from the name, in this au Ravenpaw runs into the city instead of to the barn.
Now, he may have been trying to get to the barn but took some wrong turns or simply ran in one direction filled with fear of Tigerclaw potentially catching him- but either way! He eventually makes it to this loud and intimidating city which, as a peaceful forest cat, he immediately panics in. Over the course of a day or two, the alley cats and members of Bloodclan begin herding or directing him into ‘official’ bloodclan territory. The rule is any new cat needs to talk to the boss (personally, Bloodclan to me is like a close knit mob family? Kinda for laughs but it’s also a fun lil thing).
Either way! Scourge sees this frail, shaking, obviously traumatized cat and sees a bit of himself in him- so he decides to allow him refuge. One learning that Tigerclaw- you know, the guy who also scarred him- is the one who caused this suffering... well, Scourge opens up a full spot for Ravenpaw (newly just ‘Raven’ ((or maybe ‘Poe’))) in Bloodclan and even trains him to protect himself against large opponents.

20 warriors questions
(note: these 20 questions are a tag made by butterflyidentity on youtube! even though i myself wasn’t tagged, i decided to answer these questions just so ya’ll don’t ask later :’) )
- how did you get into warriors? whooo boi, let’s go back to 2012, where i was obsessed with watching animations on youtube. i stumbled across some rad cats fighting each other, then i got deeper into the fandom, spoiling myself even more, then i decided to buy in the books in norwegian but since the names were so badly translated (example, willowpelt is aquamarine in the norwegian books, do cats even know what an aquamarine is??) so i decided to purchase them on amazon in english! i’m currently on power of three, but i already know a lot of stuff. - favourite arc? out of all the three i have read (haven’t finished the third yet), definitely the first, original arc, the prophecies begin. everything’s really nice, tigerstar being the main villian of the first arc, us learning about all the clans and duties, it’s just amazing! imo the new prophecy is very boring, i mean, they’re on the go for 3 books, then they kinda get used to the territories and blah blah blah...
- favourite book? (excluding super editions, mangas, and novellas) forest of secrets! so much stuff happens in that book, like silverstream dying, we find out who killed redtail, the battle with the rogues and tigerclaw getting exiled, i love it.
- favourite super edition, manga or novella? yellowfang’s secret!!
out of all the super editions, mangas and novellas i have (firestar’s quest, bluestar’s prophecy and the rise of scourge), yellowfang’s secret is definitely the best one. it’s probably because it’s set in a whole different clan. but when i first read the first chapters, i was enchanted! the description of the enviornrment (even though it was leafbare like 80% of the time) was amazing. it felt as if i was actually there, in shadowclan camp, and yellowfang’s exile broke my heart :’(
- favourite clan? my fam riverclan (ironically i’m scared of swimming in rivers, oceans and lakes irl lmao)
- favourite character? MY GIRL YELLOWFANG!! i love her so much you have no idea, my lil grump (surprisingly i dislike jayfeather haha) <33 yellowfang will always be no. 1, but i also like russetfur, hollyleaf, tawnypelt, leopardstar, brackenfur, longtail and manyyyy more!
- least favourite character? foxheart. i DESPISE her. when reading yellowfang’s secret, she was probably the first character that i was really happy to see die and i just wanted to rip her guts out?? i mean gosh, she was the biggest bitch ever, getting under raggedstar’s paws 24/7, but i mean, he made foxheart deputy to make yellowfang jealous which is really bitchy too, but i don’t dislike raggedstar as much as foxheart, even though he was a dick sometimes. i also dislike spottedleaf, i mean jfc, firestar was wondering who to pick out of sandstorm and spottedleaf even though sandstorm was who he had kits with, and she stayed at his side every time, and spottedleaf was just a “childhood crush” of his, was it even ever mentioned in into the wild that he really liked her?? he just kinda said “goodbye my sweet spottedleaf” when she died, even though im pretty sure it never mentioned how he felt about her? correct me if i’m wrong, i still hate spottedleaf though, mooning over firestar from starclan.
- most aesthetically pleasing cat? mmm, goldenflower, tawnypelt and heatherstar i suppose! when it comes to goldenflower, i’m a sucker for golden tabby she-cats (i also have a lil headcanon that she wears a small flower behind her ear ovo). tawnypelt, i loveeeee pale tortoiseshells!! she’s a beaut. lastly, heatherstar! if you haven’t read any of the super editions you’re more than likely confused about who this is. she was a windclan leader before tallstar! pinkish-gray cats sound really cute to me, and i just cant really describe how i like her design?? jayfeather’s also cool when it comes to his design i guess *shrug*.
- favourite leader? my boy sunstar! he was a really good leader, sadly, his leadership didn’t last long because of stupid pinestar who had to leave thunderclan and because of that sunstar had 1 less life :/ he was also a very good mentor to bluepaw/fur/star! he’s a goof that i love :’)
- favourite villian? bad boy brokenstar. all the things he did, training kits under 6 moons to become apprentices, drive out the elders from camp into the forest, kill with no hesitation, yet i still like him. he’s great for some reason!
- favourite medicine cat? i’d say yellowfang, but since she’s already my favourite character out of all, i’ll go with cinderpelt or goosefeather. cinderpelt because she’s also another goof, with a sad backstory (her leg), yet she’s still okay with it. goosefeather on the other hand, he’s another grump that i like! i have spoiled myself a lot already on goosefeather’s curse, and i’m guessing that he received alotta prophecies at once (idontreallyknow)? he already knew that tigerkit would grow up to be the danger of the forest even when he wasnt even an apprentice. - overrated character? oh gee... scourge. that edgelord is overrated as heckk. i’m not the biggest fan of him, but i don’t hate him. i guess jayfeather is also overrated. some people even refer to him as “jaybae” which is um, bizarre i suppose.
- underrated character? good ol’ runningwind. he’s a great character, not to mention he’s actually mousefur’s brother, which i totally forgot about. tbh his death was kind of sad :/ STILL, i demand more fanart of runningwind >:(
- favourite minor character? thrushpelt, rosetail and brackenfur. they don’t get all the love they deserve which is really sad?? rosetail’s death was only mentioned like ONE time in into the wild, which sucks!! thrushpelt got rejected by bluefur, which is kinda sad, but he still promised her to keep her kits safe even though they weren’t his, which is very nice of him to stay strong even after getting rejected. brackenfur’s just someone who i liked from the beginning. he always stayed at his sister’s side (brackenfur & cinderpelt are one of my favourite silbings, only with ashfur and ferncloud in the front!).
- favourite pairing? either brightheart and cloudtail, or firestar and sandstorm. both pairings are cute as heck, even though both the toms kinda ignored their mate at some point (cloudtail & daisy and firestar & spottedleaf)
- least favourite pairing? leafpool and crowfeather. honestly it’s as if the erins just added it to make leafpool a more “interesting” character?? they chill out together away from the clans for like less than a moon, then leafpool gets back, few moons later, poof! kits! it’s a really bad “couple” ugh
- favourite friendship? good ol’ fireheart and greystripe! it’s like they were destined to be bffs, or bluestar maybe got a prophecy to send out graypaw to spy on rusty?? nah jk i’m not that stupid. but those two before power of three would do anything for each other. love em.
- favourite moment? the daylight gathering in the sight! that was probably the best thing in the book. even though it was short, it was really snazzy! i loved the fight between heatherpaw and hollypaw, and the leaders announcing the “winners”! thanks squirrelflight, love ya gal *smooch* i also love the moment where hollypaw tells brook that she no longer wants to be a medicine cat apprentice, and brook’s like “go ahead, tell leafpool, it’s okay!” i love both of them so much hhhngh
- most tragic death? okay, not gonna lie, i cried for about 2-3 hours straight after yellowfang’s death. buuuut i gotta admit, snowfur and moonflower’s deaths were also pretty sad, except i only cried at moonflower’s death out of those two. hawkheart was pretty serious about keeping windclan’s herbs safe tbh.. OKAY BUT LET’S NOT FORGET SWEETPAW. she was the sweetest (no pun intended) :(
- favourite battle/fight scene? the hawkfrost and brambleclaw one in sunset was pretty intense, though i probably like the bloodclan battle the most even though whitestorm died then :(. it was so intense like omg??
so there!! finally!! 20 questions answered! this took me probably an hour oops, i just thought over my answers a lot. so yeah, credit goes to butterflyidentity for making these questions and making it possible for me and many others to answer them! i doubt anyone will read this, but w/e, i still had fun writing the answers :’)

Since you like Wings of Fire so much, what do you think about other series like it, like warriors?
I’ve got kinda a mixed reaction to them. I was actually really into Warriors when I was younger- never joined the fandom tho- until they tore down the forest and made them move, which upset me enough to make me ditch the series( I tried to continue it, but couldn’t visualize the new setting, which frustrated me). Guardians of Ga’hoole was more of my thing- I read all the books- and I read the first few books of The Wolves of the Beyond or something, but lost track of it because my library didn’t have the rest of the books.
If you’re curious about Warriors, though- my three favorite characters were Leafstar, Bluestar, and Scourge. Skyclan fascinated me, and both Bluestar and Scourge’s backstories made me cry- which is pretty hard to do. Scourge, however, had a pretty lasting impact on me because he was the first character I got really, really attached to, and the only villain I liked- I guess because his actions and behaviors made sense to me. He was the runt, everybody thought he was weak and useless, and when he was kind someone beat the shit out of him and forced him onto the streets- of course he’s going to turn cold and ruthless, it made sense. I also liked how he lead his clan, even though it was brutal, and I could actually understand his motivations for wanting to take over clan territory- he was responsible for a gang of streetcats that were living off scraps, moving them to a place rich with prey was a wise choice. Also, him killing Tigerstar was pretty much my favorite thing ever- someone hurt him badly, abused him, and he tore their life away in the most painful and humiliating way possible. Dude. Fuck yes. Plus his design was A+. I know he was a villain and whatever, blah blah blah, but Firestar was always too goody-goody and optimistic for me to take him seriously, and pretty much all the other cats were too hard for me to keep apart, so Scourge of Bloodclan was the shit.
I still think Wings of Fire is better, though. The characters are more equal, they’re easier to tell apart, and there’s a lot of representation for mentally ill characters, different forms of abuse, the villains are all realistic, and we have gay dragons. So I like Wings of Fire as a whole more than I liked Warriors, (which was nice but then everything got too much), and the other series (though Guardians of Ga’hoole is almost equal to Wings of Fire), because I never really was able to get into things past that.

sorry if this derails but uh. how aware are clan cats (including bloodclan i guess!) of humans in your rewrite
like. do they know that we can cook things too? do they think that buildings and towns just Spawned out of the ground, or are they aware of how we can build? how about gardens? do they think we're kinda smart or just mindless beasts?
id assume they know a bit about like. humans and their capability to create medicine somehow bc of bloodclan trading in basic pain pills and medication (unless they keep it for themselves??) plus cars and cat cages but how much do they actually know?
Clan cats know that humans are a lot like them, on a level above predators or prey. I write them as having a very tense relationship with us, unlike canon where they have a very dismissive, "who knows why they do anything they're crazy lol" attitude
SkyClan lived with humans so long that they feel playful towards us, unlike the other Clans which are best described as "angry" and "fearful." SkyClan understands that cars are tools, not animals. They know that we store things in cabinets and fridges. There's an understanding that we can be dangerous, but we can also be total wimps, or even friendly.
BloodClan's similar to SkyClan, but generally more cynical. Being around humans more often and generally having bad memories of being abandoned, trapped, or even abused, they are not likely to interact with humans by choice. When possible, they try to stay out of sight and hide their numbers.
Even raids are done as quietly as possible. An opened window that lets trapped cats out of a hoarder's house. An open door you could have sworn was locked and something missing from your medicine cabinet.
The Forest Four are aware of light pollution, and think that Guy Fawkes/Bonfire Night is humans trying to attack StarClan because of all the fireworks and fires. Like most feral cats, they will attack if cornered, but generally tension melts as soon as a human brings out a Glowstone (smartphone) and says "pspsps". Clan cats know that's usually a sign they mean no harm.

Seems that some of the recent AUs have been a bit dull for you. I've got two for you.
First, what would happen if Fireheart fell into the gorge during the gorge battle, but doesn't die? Like, he's washed downstream quite some distance from the clans but by some miracle (coughStarClancough) he doesn't die? Removing him from the forest for a considerable margin of time, but not permanently?
OK OK I’m taking it back you can stop putting “dull” in every sentence you adress to me lol.
Fireheart saves Sandpaw, but, he is caught up in his momentum and just falls next to Whiteclaw (killing Whiteclaw off too because frankly we don’t need more variables lol).
A cohort of Starclan ghosts descend from heaven like a cohort of seraphims in order to make his fall less brutal and help him swim or something. He is washed up... (checks map... ok not in the thunderclan territory basins obviously... the other part of the river) south west of the clans, let’s say it’s two weeks worth of walking (with sufficient pauses to rest or hunt) from the clans. I was kinda going to have him restart Skyclan right now but he found them by going north, not south, which is too bad because it would have been funny.
Thunderclan mourns him, especially Sandpaw who was saved by him. Graystripe and Mousefur are given Brackenpaw and Cinderpaw as apprentices. Graystripe, too shellshocked by grief, doesn’t fool around on the ice of the river, fall, get saved by Silverstream. And even if he did, he wouldn’t fall in love with her. Too soon.
Fireheart arrives in the camp half a moon later completely drenched with water and exhausted. Everyone rejoices that he’s there (except the Poss obviously). He didn’t meet Princess.
So this far, we’ve got a two-weeks vacations that gives us:
No Feathertail, no Stormfur and no Cloudtail. Like, ever. He could meet Princess later but she wouldn’t then have known him long enough to give him her first born, and she did it partly because he didn’t have an apprentice anymore with Cinderpaw wounded, and now he doesn’t have any apprentice at all.
He is given Thornpaw later, because in canon it was Mousefur’s apprentice and that Mousefur was Cinderpaw’s mentor in this au.
Sandstorm and him get cozier by the minute. He never guesses that Bluestar is Mistyfoot and Stonefur’s mom because he doesn’t meet Mistyfoot as often (he met her through Silverstream). In the Darkest Hour, Graystripe has no stakes in Riverclan and doesn’t offer to go see if his kits are ok. No need for theatrics and making Stonefur kill the apprentices since there aren’t any. Tigerstar gets the blue siblings killed. Heavystep becomes Riverclan’s new deputy after the battle against Bloodclan.
It’s worth noting tho, that without Cloudtail I don’t think Brightpaw would have become a warrior, and that without Storm and Featherpaw, I generally kill Bramblepaw off during the battle against Bloodclan because instead of five apprentices on Bone’s back it’s only three and so let’s kill one (the most plot-necessary one obviously).
Midnight.
The Chosen Ones are Tawnypelt, Squirrelpaw, Hawkfrost and Crowpaw.
Like in another AU of mine, can’t remember, in which Hawkfrost goes instead of a dead/not born Feathertail, he gets closer to Tawnypelt over their shared blood and talk things out and he doesn’t follow his father later, so he’s a good guy. Squirrelpaw also falls for him because hey she fell for a dark tabby who she travelled with once, she can twice.
Graystripe is taken by the Twolegs during Dawn, and since there’s no Brambleclaw there, Firestar ends up making Brackenpelt his temporary deputy, like he was going to in canon.
No Feathertail means no CrowLeaf. But the Three are born from Squirrelflight and Hawkfrost which is in itself breaking a code. The black one is named after her uncle Tadpole tho, so let’s say Tadpolefur, while the others are still Jay and Lion.
Graystripe comes back with his new mate Millie and has his first kits with her.
Squirrelflight and Hawkfrost talk too often at gatherings and Ashfur grows wary (and possessive). During the fire he confronts her while she has nowhere to go and she admits to everything (he thought he was the father).
Killing ashfur revealing everything Tadpolefur goes in the tunnels and doesn’t reappear. Hawkfrost was deputy in the mean time after Heavystep retired, and isn’t punished by Leopardstar who’s like “not punishing anyone for mixing bloods anymore I’ve done it before it didn’t end well I’m washing my hands of the scandal and he stays deputy”. After that kind of declaration no one can really oppose Hawkfrost without looking like they regret Tigerstar’s era.
Squilf and her sons are constantly proving their loyalty to their clan. Dovewing and Ivypool are born from other warriors since Cloudtail was never in the clan, and are not parents of Firestar. He is starting to worry since he thought Tadpolefur was the third but she’s apparently dead. He asks Starclan about all that. They tell him they’ve got no idea either.
The Erins decide Scourge, Firestar’s half brother (or Ruby or Socks his littermates, or one of Firestar’s littermates apart from Princess, etc), had a son before dying and make that son’s daughter be Daisy, who in turn gave birth to Berrynose, Mousewhisker and Hazeltail then Toadstep and Rosepetal. The Third of the Prophecy is Berrynose, who is revealed ot have always been such a prick because he didn’t take well his sensory issues. Alternatively they make it so Firestar had an affair before he mated Sandstorm, during his two weeks vacations far from the clan after his fall, and had a kit who in turn wandered far from his home and had a kit who was Daisy and Berrynose still is the third of the prophecy.
Tadpolefur/Hollyleaf ends up alive. She cannot face her clanmates and joins Riverclan. In fading echoes Hawkfrost had become leader and so he welcomes her with little worry of Leopardstar refusing her. Hawkstar promises to give her one of Duskfur’s kits (Curlfeather and Podlight) for apprentice as soon as they are of age, in order to keep her in the clan. She tells him about the prophecy and he asks Firestar about all that at a Gathering. Firestar admits to all that there’s a prophecy and some of his clanmates have superpower, including Berrynose. Everyone remembers Berrynose was born a loner, it starts a new fad of letting loners join clans with the hope they have superpowers too.
In the last hope, a desillusioned Darkstripe, Brokenstar, Tigerstar and Mapleshade attack the clans with way less people than before. Hawkfrost kills Tigerstar, Berrynose kills Brokenstar, etc.
Hawkstar has not foxtrapped Firestar which means he doesn’t lose his last life that day. Brackenfur however ends up becoming leader after him. He names Bumblestripe his deputy because he’s Graystripe’s son (and Graystripe was Brackenfur’s mentor) and not a dark forest trainee like Blossomfall.
TL;DR: if a young Fireheart had been washed out of Thunderclan for two weeks, Hollyleaf would have been Hawkfrost’s daughter and Berrynose would have been the third of the prophecy.
