eieudururururuffggh… it’s definitely along the lines of limerence. u think its fine when ur sitting together, it’s actualized that this is someone you could never be together with, and really he’s not all that glittering attractive in terms of someone you would want to be in a relationship with anyway. but then there’s the twofold dream of living with him, then wandering around a city aimless with the thought resounding “i love you so much please text me back”

i think it’s a sign of needing to reconcile something in myself but i don’t know what. i am left with these feelings that i do not know how to deal with. i desire him so much but he is not present. he never will be. it’s just how he is. i don’t know why he’s worth it in terms of my brain/heart. as i said, there are so many things about him that are extremely unattractive in terms of a relationship. This is a consequence of coming back into his life, but really this was happening anyway, in the past two years. it was so nice to just sit with him and not want for more, except i feel bad drawing him to speak to me but that’s fine

i don’t trust him with anything in the world, i feel that i don’t really know who he is, if he’s even a real person — but also that it’s so simple and he’s much more simple than i think. except it’s just that i don’t know. i can only assume and assume and theorize because he’s never around. i don’t know why i wish to know him specifically. Maybe it’s an ego thing. Maybe it’s an issue.

I had a dream that i think was a sequel to an existing dream but i dont know. It was like. I was adopted by the queen and king of england, they looked over me and raised me for a bit. And eventually i had to go back home to my mother. This dream was the sequel where I come back to see them again and see how every influence I had on their castle and lives and everything was stripped away and muttered about as ill-fashion— “oh, that old thing.” whereas i looked up to them so much, i was devoted and dedicated so much to them. they taught me how to dance, i taught the king jokes, things like so.

upon seeing all the ways i meant nothing to them I proceeded to have a breakdown in the dream, taking it out on them, everyone around me, tearing things down, playing into the ill worth they regarded me with by giving them something to be actually disgusted by.

My ex was there— he was there because he heard it was me, on the news, in the rumors, and came to witness. he was talking to people about me, telling them who i was and who he was, *defending* me. Which was crazy. So fond. but when i really think about it I think he was there because ultimately being the child of the queen of england and then coming back to see i meant nothing felt like what it was like to be in a relationship with him.

Why i am drawn to people i mean nothing to. I dont know. why their validation in my worth means so much. i dont know. why i see my worth through others. i dont know. this is what i need to reconcile in myself but. i don’t know. How. I even feel like its fine most of the time, but then i look up to someone and it all comes back.

I just wish he cared about me enough to come by. But he doesnt and i need to find someone who does. Thats the path i’m trying to take. It’s just sorrowful. What also overtakes me sometimes is that when he’s not there, he claims to be thinking of me. Stalking my twitter. Watching what i’m doing wherever. Songs that make him think about me. Which kind of makes it worse. All of that and it’s still not enough to draw him near. He was right in saying I am someone that needs someone to be there for me and it was hardly a kindness that he let go of me when saying that, especially considering the circumstances, but at least he could admit he was not that person. it’s this wish i have that i need to reconcile. the fact that it exists at all. I wish it could go away, I’ve been trying to make it go away, forcing it to by looking at all the facts and realities, but yet its still here, I don’t know how to change, I need to be strong

He splits another knuckle open.

It’s no different than any other exercise or training, but he’s different. He’s stronger now, and smarter but he’s still less. He punches the wall again, willing it to go through. For a second, he thinks he can feel the soft tendrils of the void past the surface beckoning him, urging him forth. It’s asking him where he’s been, that it missed him and that he’s back. For that second, it’s real. His hand is sinking through and he’s back.

But the rough texture of the wall sinks into the cuts he’s ripped into his skin and he’s pulling back, sucking in air through his teeth and withholding curses.

He cradles his right hand with his left, blood trailing down the grooves of the taught tendons on both battered hands.

Mirio’s chest is heaving, his breaths varying from deep to shallow, his heart rate erratic. The buzz in his pocket disrupts his stare at the red stains his punches had left.

Mirio pockets his phone. He wants to manually rub the grime out of the cuts or even just leave them the way they are. The sting is a juxtaposition from how his life was before. No longer can he float in the nothingness, phase through infinity until he needs to come up for air.

He feels everything now.

He makes his way towards UA’s medical clinic. It’s late, past dinner at least, which means it’ll be empty save for one person. Recovery Girl doesn’t work the hours like she used to, not since you came in. The clinic after hours feels safe, secretive and his. You’re always there late, as far as Mirio knows. Since the first time he injured himself by pushing himself past his newfound limits (which were significantly less than what they used to be) you’d always been there when he’d sneak in.

Tonight, you were hunched over textbooks, highlighter dangling out of your mouth. If he could’ve, he would’ve lingered in the doorway to watch you. Instead, the few droplets of blood spilling from his hands alerted you of his presence. You peek over your shoulder at him before capping the marker and nodding for him to sit on one of the empty exam beds. It was routine.

“You outdid yourself this time,” You said as you cleaned the open wounds. He’d beaten the flesh raw, almost exposing bone and you wanted to scold him but you knew it was useless. He’d just brush you off with a shrug, a smile and tell you it’s not that big of a deal. Pain is part of getting stronger.

Mirio doesn’t respond. Instead, he chooses to let his eyes flick around the room. Recovery Girl’s absence is notable - no more jar of candy, and you’ve taken over her desk and littered it with your own knicknacks. Your textbooks, an All Might water bottle, a Kamui Woods pez dispenser. It’s cute, he thinks.

“Did you have a punching match with one of those hardening quirks?” You’re frowning as you pop a piece of jerky in your mouth. “Maybe Cementoss?”

“Cementoss,” he confirms, only because that would be the only way he’d have so much...particulate within the splits. Cementoss was made of rock, and Mirio would rather die than admit to you he was relentlessly punching a wall.

You snort, shaking your head as you chew. You both know he’s full of it, but you drop it. You always do.

A soft, blue glow escapes from underneath your hand. His hand feels fuzzy, like it's fallen asleep before it dissipates and you remove your hand, motioning for him to lift his other so you can begin the same process.

As you clean the other hand, Mirio watches you work. You ignore the weight of his gaze the best you can, focusing on repairing the skin and not how strong and smooth his fingers are. His hand is heavy in yours, and the glow of your quirk flickers as you lose focus imaging what his grip would feel like on you.

“Done,” you said, flicking your used gloves into the wastebasket by your feet. Mirio flexes his fingers. Healed. “Y’know, after all these visits,” You raise an eyebrow, “I think you owe me.”

Mirio looks up from his hands to tilt his head at you.

“Tell me how you really get these injuries,” you grab one of his hands loosely and run your thumb over the freshly regenerated skin.

He wasn’t expecting that.

Mirio gapes at you like a fish out of water, like you’re Thirteen and you’ve sucked all of the air out of the room. He pulls himself from your grip to rest his hands in his lap. He’s uncomfortable, uneasy now. He’s liked this place, liked you because questions weren’t asked that he had to give real answers to. It’s not betrayal that Mirio feels, it’s more like loss. It’s the loss that comes with the realization that you can’t outrun everything you want forever. With all the training, all the work Mirio had put in, he thought he could.

“They’re self-inflicted. The bruising, the wound placements. It’s like you’re training yourself to death.”

“It’s not like that - I’m fine, I promise!” Mirio throws his hands up in a defensive motion. He’s summoning the sunlight, the optimism and charm that swooned UA and motivated him to keep working, keep training, to save a million people. He can feel it churning in his chest, but it’s been pressed so deep he’s grasping at the edges and they don’t want to meet his fingertips.

Mirio knew you never believed his excuses - you knew he knew that and you’d been pulled thin between wanting to show concern and ask what was up and respecting his privacy. But at the previous state of his knuckles, you couldn’t drag your feet any longer.

You watch him, face soft and stoic. You’re not coddling, but you’re not cold either. He realizes that you’re just simply waiting.

“I just train too hard,” he gives in, just a little. You raise your eyebrows a fraction and he continues. “I have a lot to make up for, so I tend to overdo it!” He laughs it off - the injuries are a joke, truly. They’re funny to him.

“You get more banged up than Midoriya,” you look at him over the clear frame of the glasses you seem to only wear at the clinic. “How does your training get you more banged up than the other heroes?”

“I’m not a hero,” he’s quick to say, and it stings more than it should. He was, should’ve been, should be.

Your face is soft again, and it’s an art you’ve mastered over time. You’re good at composing your features to appear passive and static. In your many hero encounters, pity is the quickest way to lose trust. So you watch Mirio, with his soft smile and now long hair tied back at the nape of his neck. He’s analyzing you just as you are him, and you keep your eyes from flicking to his knuckles when you respond with, “Okay.”

His stomach is churning, still sour with his words but he rubs his hands on his thighs. Why are they so sweaty?

In his distracted state, Mirio doesn’t notice you scribbling down something on a notecard shaped like an anatomical heart. You hand it to him, knocking him out of his trance.

Seven digits, followed by the letters 3G, and four more digits.

“What’s this?” he asks. Obviously the first line is your number, but you lost him with the rest.

“My number,” you aren’t looking at him. Instead you choose to refold the sleeves of your white coat as you continue, “and the passcode to get into my dorm building.”

Mirio does white. The passcode? Why would he need that?”

“I can’t be staying here late every night in case you show up.” You hated trudging back to your dorm on the nights he didn’t show, both eyelids and textbooks weighing you down. “Just stop by my dorm if it’s late like this.”

Mirio opens his mouth but you cut him off.

“Floor 5F, my name is on the door.”

He closes his mouth and smiles, nodding and bowing in thanks. He doesn’t trust his voice, not right now. You’re packing up your textbooks as he exits the clinic.

It doesn’t hit him until he gets back to the 3A dorms that he doesn’t know your name.

He beats himself up about it the whole night. He wishes he could go into Tamaki’s room to distract himself, to ask him about the person who’s basically taken over Recovery Girl’s mantle. Tamaki frequented the clinic as well - used it as an excuse to get out of the heroics lessons and sleep. He’d definitely know your name, unlike his golden counterpart who visited her frequently and never thought to ask.

Mirio tried to comfort himself by thinking that maybe you didn’t know his name either. You’d never asked. But then again, Mirio is (was?) part of UA’s Big Three. The aftermath of the Shie Hassaikai was all anyone talked about for weeks. You’d definitely have to know who he was. Mirio Togata, the kid who lost his quirk. Le Million, the hero who gave and lost everything. You went to UA yourself - there was no way.

He didn’t want to be that sob story to you. But he was constantly coming to you with injuries - split knuckles, a dislocated shoulder, a torn achilles. Maybe he wasn’t exactly that sob story, but he knew you pitied him regardless. Maybe that’s why you always stayed so late - you felt bad for him.

The thoughts makes Mirio uncomfortable.

And so much so that to make himself feel better, he adds your number to his phone. Typing in the numbers, he thinks about how he likes that your handwriting was shitty. Another little thing you let him see, let him learn about you. In lieu of a name, he makes your contact name the stethoscope emoji. He laughs to himself when he saves the contact and types out a message:

How late is too late?

He hesitates, but hits send. It delivers, and after fifteen minutes, Mirio is worried he confused one of your twos for a seven or vice versa. Or, maybe he should’ve introduced himself instead of just sending you a basic question that revealed his identity in no way whatsoever. In the eighteenth minute, you buzz back a response.

its a little more complicated than that i guess. it's not entirely because of me. he hasn't been socialized well and it got worse after joe died and after moving into an apartment and it is kind of important to socialize your dog in these places but we never did that. my mom made attempts but she works a lot and to be honest he is an intimidating dog so it is in fact our fault for not doing that. we shouldn't have had him to begin with and we certainly shouldn't have taken him here and we did not get a lot of say in either decision (joe got him and joe died before separating into a new household with the dog but that would've been bad and maybe worse for the dog so) but ended up here anyway

he's very edgy around people but my mom says she's made improvement with him (before this, obviously) and i dont know how much of that is optimism and how much is sincere because he and i get along badly. im edgy around people and we feed off each other. i don't think he'd be as aggressive if it wasn't for me. he's worse because of me and i'm not strong enough to handle it and so. um.

mom contacted a behavior specialist but i don't know if it will matter because he is scary and everyone is scared of him except us and going "well he's a sweet dog to US and when he's not SURPRISED by people he doesn't bite them he’s just loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (that was what happened, someone hopped the fence with him while i was taking him out and i was at the top of a slippery hill with bad grip so he got startled and took off for them and i couldn't stop him, her mom was more pissed than she was but that's obviously justified, a dog bit her daughter, and while her daughter was trying to be cool about it and wasted her precious energy AFTER BEING BIT trying to tell me it was fine and she'd had worse and here are some tips for reeling your dog back in but like. it obviously hurt and she shouldn't have had to bother) because like. he is a sweet dog to us. he is so sweet and cuddly it is annoying at times. but like. we live around so many people and keep him isolated out of fear and its clearly not good for anyone. i mean its like. i dont blame anyone wanting him put down i guess is the point, i understand, i think they are objectively correct and even if by some fucking miracle he goes through behavioral training and improves it still shouldve happened sooner and didnt because of time/money not allowing it and frankly without those things we shouldn't have kept him with us and only did because. he is a dog our dead dad gave us five and a half years ago and we got attached lol. so

its like. um. it felt like this was going to end up happening eventually and its entirely our fault (and my fault for making him even worse around even the idea of people) and im just uh. you know. you know. i keep thinking he wouldn't have done this if my mom had taken him, and she asked before i took him out if she should, and i said no because taking the dogs out is one of the only fucking things im good for and im not even good at it and, in fact, BAD because it directly led to someone getting hurt and a dog probably being killed, and now the only responsibility anyone will trust me with is haunted by "if i had just taken him out instead this wouldn't have happened" and its like instead of puttingthe dog down i think they should have me put down since i won't do it myself because im spineless and it's better for everyone that way. that i dont play like i can be around people or do things when it leads to this.

 Before we begin I want to give you a little checklist of the things you will need in order to complete this process. Most of it is pretty simple stuff you should already have. If not then you will need to.

 1.      An email (it can be whatever email you use for your business)

2.      A payment method for managing your accounts - credit card or at least an active prepaid credit card with VISA/MASTERCARD logo.

3.      A little bit of time to set everything up.

Even if it is $2 a day.  In order to do that you want to make sure your business is setup properly. If your business is already setup and established and this information is just going to help further along grow it the you ca go ahead and jump to the next section. However, if you are just starting out then you would want to follow this step by step.

Now keep in mind this is a brief overview so I wont be getting down to the nitty gritty of everything but enough so that it will set you up for major success or at least give you a good starting point.

·         Be able to extend your tax write off amounts

·         Appeal to your audience more and grow your business

With having a legal business entity established anything you do will keep you free and clear from someone making you personally responsible. Because if the business goes bankrupt that is fine just start another one. But if you get sued, well it maybe a little harder to come back from that. One of the best things about having the business is the financial benefit you get. Just about every expense you have pertaining to your business is tax deductible against the business income, even your $2 expense to grow your business. This means more money in your own pocket and less in uncle sam’s. Pretty simple process just search for what you want your business website to be called, once you find it. Pay for it and voila! No tricks, no gimmicks just pay your $12 get your domain and move on. Now that you have your business website name setup now its time to get that website built. Step 3 will walk us through that crucial part.

 Step 3 Website Wonders

 So you have your website name now what? Now its time to make that website! Now for some of you you may already have a website and everything already constructed. Even better you just have the easier part of this step to do. Now for those of you who don’t. You can easily make your website  

Both places (google domain & namecheap) in fact, any place you go to buy your domain may also offer web design to create your site along with other things such as advertising your website as well. Although it sounds convenient it is not recommended for many reasons. Mainly, you dont want to have your website suppressed which is typical with domain hosting companies when using their advertising. You’ll want to have your website set up for peak optimization and be able to run smoothly for your clients at any and every moment. Trust me the last thing I hate is going to a company’s site and waiting for the page to load. Most consumers by then have already lost interest on continuing on to the site. This is major must for any of you running an e-commerce business. Well actually, any business who is dealing with many products or even just having high definition photos or even simple youtube videos on their site. If your site is barely loading or taking forever to operate or be found by the ones looking for you its simply a waste of space.

How do you make sure this isn’t you?

So first you want to make sure your website is using wordpress. Wordpress is used pretty much any and everyone on the internet who has a site for countless reasons. If you don’t know how to install wordpress on your website and are doing it yourself, there are plenty of youtube. videos on how to do so. Just type I (How to install wordpress for nanmecheap / googledomain) We wont go into those benefits right now because we’ll be here all day but just know you want to have wordpress.

Once it is installed, There are many wordpress tutorials you can find on how to design a website. But if you’re anything like me and don’t want to take the time to do and learn all that just have someone else do it. You can easily find somebody to design a website for you for cheap now and days. But of course you’ll more than likely get what you pay for but at the same time you may not need all the bells and whistles. So you can head over to fiverr and higher a developer for a couple of bucks. I’ve actually had a few on them design a couple of my sites for cheap and they did outstanding jobs. $7 got me some pretty good sites designed. From a basic website to a complex ecommerce site there are web designers of all types there. Of course you will need to provide them with the password and/or Cpanel access to your domain and website but you can change it afterwards.

 Here is where your Secret weapon comes in!!!

Once your site is up and the way you want it you now need to get it on over to Kinsta. Especially for you ecommerce stores using woo commerce, shopify, or any other online shopping setup, Kinsta is going to hands down be the best platform to support your site. With them you’ll be able to spend less time worrying about your website and more time growing your business. Whether you need to roll back your site or you’re hit with a sudden surge of traffic, Kinsta’s got you covered every step of the way. Also, Kinsta uses google cloud platform so you have which will allow your site to be secured and fast globally. This is probably the bulk of your expense being that it is going to cost a minimum of a $1 a day but trust me the support and service is definitely worth it.

Many people still report seeing substainal change in not only their site but the traffic and sales too when switching over to either one of these hosting companies.

  Step 4: Stay in Touch

Now that you have your business built to run on peak optimization, Once you get those customers that are interested, its time to keep them engaged and coming back for more. The number one tool to do this is AWeber for only $19 a month. I cant begin to mention how important this tool is going to be for your business’s continuous success. Aweber offers a service to help businesses communicate more effectively and profitably with prospects and customers. Rate the episode

84% of users rated the episode a 4 or 5 this week, compared to 64% last week. This episode had less action, but was full of key character moments that manga readers were excited to see animated.

So far it's my favourite since it follows the most the manga but with some bearable adjustemements. If the episodes will be like this from now on, I'll be completely satisfied and could get over all the changes in the first two episodes.

The adaptation is doing well, but of course manga readers(me included) about some bits being changed and rearranged. But on the other hand they might come me up with something unexpectedly good. I won't forgive them if they don't give shit machine tho.

It’s starting to feel more like the arc I love

It was great, I'm having trouble deciding which episode is the best of this season yet. I thought the second one was the best, but then I remember the premiere and now, once again, I am thinking about the 3rd one being the greatest. The quality this season is off the charts.

This episode was appropriately paced for an episode full of flashbacks, and honestly I think it paid off to get the backstories of Erwin and Historia in one showing to avoid conflicting with the future action episodes.  I don't have much else to say- I can't really be critical because it was a pretty good episode, adaptation-wise.

Which of the following moments were your favorite?

Hange taking their anger out on the table and Levi walking in on it is the winner here! The closest runner ups were seeing Levi’s wanted poster and getting Erwin and Historia’s backstories. We all agree it was nice to see many of these things in color animation finally!

Hange's scene where she blames her table destruction on a cockroach? Totally relatable. And I loved that Levi kinda teased her for it.

I have been waiting for Erwin's back story for AGES and was not disappointed! Kidwin was as heartbreakingly adorable as expected (that nose!! The sad bby at the funeral!!)

I liked all the topics they addressed that had been previously skipped (Historia and Erwin’s pasts). Also, while the sequence of events have been changed, I’m looking forward to how they are going to pan this out.

How cute was baby Historia?

About episode type: Tense conversation ready to break into action at any second, like when Kenny and Levi were talking in the bar.

It was a nice change of pace after all the fights in the first 2 episodes but I'm looking forward to the action  coming back next episode

How many flashbacks within flashbacks is too many?

Half of respondents appreciated the Inception reference and just want to be flashbacked into oblivion. Okay but seriously, there were some who got a bit confused by WIT’s use of flashbacks for some of these scenes. We hope you’re holding up okay during current manga chapters!

bit weird to slow it down this much when the first 2 episodes were so action packed, 2 flashbacks in one episode is a bit much if you ask me. the episode didnt give you any break or a few seconds to let the information sink in.

How do you feel about the rearrangement of events after this episode?

I prefer the manga’s order, but I am content, BUT I’m still waiting for more episodes to make a final judgement, BUT  I’m still very confused with where they are going with this.

I want to slap the whole WIT Studios and Yams but u know im okay for now.

Same story, different medium. Pretty neutral, happy I don’t know word for word what’s going to happen.

So I was very very nervous about the changes and pacing, but them taking the time to slow down and let the emotional weight of Historia and Erwin's backstories sink in is just what I needed to calm down a bit. I still have some preferences with the manga, but I'm sated to the point of watching and waiting without making too much of a fuss.

Some changes do make the action flow smoother, but im not happy that the studio decided to cut out Reeves-Levi wall bonding and L's squad 2.0's doubts on killing people

Rearrangement? Who cares? Erwin on graveyard was pure sex how was I supposed to thino about rearrangments???

I think the anime is doing a good job restructuring the arc, and is preserving its internal consistency quite well. But I am upset about some of the things that got removed, so I don't quite like the anime's retelling.

The rearrangement was understandable, however until I can look over the whole arc, I wouldn't be able to give a fair opinion on the execution of this season.

How do you feel about Historia’s absence when the Survey Corps proposed she needs to be queen?

As with the previous question, nearly half of voters are not yet ready to judge how the changes will affect the arc overall. 35% of you guys think it was a bad choice on WIT’s part. It’s probably safe to say we’re all on our toes wondering how WIT is going to handle this plot development as they move forward!

I hope we can still see the Levi smiling moment at the end of this arc despite the absence of these scenes.

I prefer Rod being the one to push the idea of her royalty into her, and I still think we'll get a moment regarding Levi's will to accept a different kind of hell and pushing Historia to make a choice in some other way later.

It didn't have a huge significance to the plot but it gave both Historia and Levi some good characterisation.

I feel a mixture of "I need more episodes" and "It was a poor choice".

Had to be done for an action packed start the season but I'm disappointed as it is an important scene for Levi's development

It was a poor choice that broke an important chain of events, it was Levi who had to force Historia.

Ralph called Hange a devil after they were locked up. Was this good foreshadowing to current manga events?

71% of respondents believed that this was good foreshadowing! We suppose one nice part of the anime being as behind from the manga as it is, is that we can recall these older moments that manage to have thematic relevance to current events.

I think Hange being called a devil was amazing foreshadowing, but also in a sense that, by overthrowing the current system, they are unwittingly putting themselves in the exact same position as the old government and its cronies were in with almost exactly the same problems and solutions available to them, the poor things just don't see it yet.

After this week, do you believe future episodes are now going to be more faithful to the original chapters?

50% of voters are confident that WIT is mostly headed back toward the linear timeline of the manga, with maybe small bits and pieces shuffled or omitted. 28% aren’t feeling as optimistic about it, however. But 18% are confident we’re back onto the strict manga timeline.

I'll have to wait and see all the episodes. No point trying to guess, only to be disappointed. Isayama authorised the changes, let's see what his new vision of these chapters!

I believe they will be faithful more than just "a little bit."  It seems the PV is a good indicator of that.  The Historia rising up to be queen is definitely going to be handled differently and there is no way around that.  But I'm ready, Wit!

im still trying to grasp what they trying to do of the pacing and the moments and i still hope the upcoming eps will make sense of all that cuts and flashbacks.

They'll have to do something different with Levi and Historia's 'discussion' about her becoming queen. I wonder if it will happen later, and someone else will do Reeve's line about him being a scary but good man? It would be interesting if someone like Mikasa does it.

A little bit better, but not enough. But overall I'm satisfied and I enjoyed it.

All in all, a very nicely done episode. I like how the story is coming together, all the different elements in the manga are there, just in a different order. I had high hopes for this season and so far I am not disappointed!

At this point I have absolutely NO clue where they are, or what's going on. The manga was less confusing for me.

Earlier I was really salty about Levi having to hold Mikasa back everytime it was mentioned that Eren was kidnapped, but later I noticed that instead of Mikasa being cool with it immediately like she was in her manga, in the anime they are slowing her development down to make it more realistic and believable(Levi had to physically restrain her the first time around, while the second time he just had to talk her down) so I still have faith it wit. I am still a little angry that the "That wasn't how I raised him." scene was cut though. It was an important Mikasa-Armin moment. But oh well! At least we got to see Jean in his glorious fedora!

Felt well-paced, I do like that they are tweeking things to make the anime feel more smooth.

Baby Erwin and Historia are wonderful, and I really like that they put two very different parent/child relationships on display here. Erwin's devotion to his father's theories, and the closeness to their relationship paralleled the neglegence Alma showed towards Historia - and in the end, the parents meet the same fate, offed by the Interior Squad."

Both Historia and Erwin's backstories needed stronger direction. Also, just a nitpick, but the soundtrack they used when Sannes told Hange "good luck" was an extremely weird choice. It was a very grim and ominous scene yet the music in the background didn't reflect that.

Pixis' lack of opposition was annoying. It seemed like he was just there so that Erwin had someone to talk about his backstory to. In the manga his red-line of no blood being spilled and his willingness to stay with the nobility if they had unknown but good reasons for their behaviour increased the stakes a lot.

I love the consistent tension buildup and the music choices that just compliment it. Sawano has been on a roll with the new tunes, and the way old ones have been used has been fantastic. Attack on D for Erwin's flashback is a choice I didn't consider, but I'll be damned if that wasn't a great call.

I just want to protect smol Historia and precious little Kidwin

Loving the development for Erwin. People need to realize that he isn't some cold hearted badass. He has feelings too ya know!

You have to write attractive ad copies in google ads and you need to play with keywords set which will actually differentiate you. For facebook ads you have to identify right audience. This can not be taught anywhere. You have to be a wise marketer.This is all what I wanted to address to all newbie/amateur who wants to join this field. The way it looks, I can make the move to get Liam out but I highly doubt I will last much longer. All it will take after that is to say Chris did X lets do him  and so I want to try and wait at least to chat to Kyle. I also want to see how willing AnnMarie and Sara are willing to talk about this vote instead of waiting. Wowza, Cheatham is playing hard now. SO, basically the votes are supposed to go 6-2, Chris being voted out. Now I do not wanna go any further with Sara, AM, and Liam bc they will take out me and Austin first. So I talked with Chris and now there is a 4 person alliance with Austin, Me, Chris, and Vincent. Im going to use my idol on Chris and then Chris and Kyle will vote out one of the others. Kyle is a wild card and we don't wanna tell him EXACTLY what's going on because he is kinda crazy. So we are thinking about having Vincent vote with Chris to ensure that one of the others go home. This is yet again ANOTHER big move on my part. Im getting worried that people will think that I'm the biggest threat with MORE idols in my hand and doing all the big moves. All I can do is wait. If I keep winning individual immunity like this week then I'm golden.

I think I've had an epiphany and it took talking to Cheatham to figure it out. Apparently I am the vote for tonight, though he wants to do something I've been wanting Cheatham to do in this merge and that is take advantage of the idol system- in doing so he gains a lot of leverage and I felt disppointed that he wasn't optimizing it. Having that said, I think I got a little sad because he told me people feel like I never give a name and truth be told I don't and it is a mistake on my end. I feel like I'm so scared to say a name because it failed miserably for me in the first half of this game and now that I don't do it anymore, people use it as a reason to vote me out. HI am seeing that Austin, Cheatham, and even Vincent legitimately want to work with me and so perhaps I should consider going with them. The question with this vote is how I do I go about it. Cheatham wants to invent a situation in which he would play his idol and gain full access to two others. This really feels like a resume padding thing more than a legitimate move out of necessity, because we have the numbers to vote out our target now, and there's no reason that would change any time soon. To me, this solidifies that Cheatham really can't make it to the end, just like Austin. Ideally I want to be able to choose between Liam and Chris because I think I have an ok shot against them both, and it's reasonable for both of them to make it very far. Of course it's the final 8 so it's still way too early to think about the end, but I definitely can't take Austin or Cheatham with me bc they both have a good shot at winning against me.

Sara me and Liam are apparently a strong group so there are plans to usurp our place on the throne! I'm watching a documentary about Queen Elizabeth while writing this. Cheatham apparently wants us gone as well, which hurts. I thought he was with me. I guess not. That is all.

So this round is insane, originally it was gonna be Chris but apparently Cheatham is gonna idol him so we’re having to take out the biggest goat in this game, which is so annoying, but if it must be done to save Sara so I have a shot at making it to the end then so be it. There’s still so much game to play so I need to make the most outta it.

Visit Search Engine Ranking: Website Ranking Keywords Backlinks And All for the whole story

In several previous articles we’ve covered: Domain Auditing, Page Speed And SEO, Backlinks and even some less than white hat techniques such as Private Blog Networks, Guest Posts and more.  All of these are cogs in the greater overall machine which is Search Engine Optimization or SEO.  To you and any other website owner it is Search Engine Position Ranking.    In this article we’re going to look more holistically at the sum of the parts and how it fits together.

Search Engine Marketing Vs Search Engine Optimization

SEO is not Search Engine Marketing, or SEM. It is closely related but very different.  In the end both mean to drive relevant traffic to a site but in different, often at odds means.  SEM includes Pay Per Click or PPC traffic, but can also include more paid traffic channels.

I’d argue that a good SEM landing page is an awful SEO landing page.  SEO pages may have a lot of content on them but they are structured in a specific a deliberate manner with everything falling neatly under the page’s topical subject.

PPC requires none of that and its page structure is more geared with conversion in mind.  A good SEO is not necessarily a good SEM and vice versa someone with PPC experience is not an SEO.  I only lay it out like that because I’ve worked for sites where a SEM’s decisions hindered the SEO efforts but they served the PPC interests just fine.

SERPs or Search Engine Rank Position directly translates into increased traffic on your site.  Both SEM and SEO deliver relevant traffic, because you’re able to place yourself in front of people actively researching a topic related to you.  PPC the costs are upfront and the benefit is immediate but not recyclable. SEM the costs are ongoing, the results are delayed by a few weeks but the work is self renewing.  Once a person finds your site SEO isn’t used up … it can continue to deliver traffic day after day with minimal upkeep.

Search Engine Ranking

Ranking number 1 is every webmasters dream for their desired keywords.  I’d love to rank number one for Matthew Leffler but I’m in tough competition from 3 other Matthew Lefflers.  A tennis pro, a lawyer and a sex offender all dance with me in the top positions.

 Now I dont want to make light of what got someone into the position of being on a sex offender site but I will say that its proven to be some of the best SEO out there.

Positions change in SERPs often and reflect the ever changing nature of the web.

Website Ranking

Website Ranking is the goal of most SEO clients and for good reason.  Web Traffic is directly correlated with where your website is ranked for a keyword.  In studies it has been shown that the top three positions will win about half of all the traffic for a given search term. 

  Each position earns about twice as much traffic as the position below it. Thats why its better to be 1st than second and third!

Page One On Google

Page One is the only page.  Page 2 or 3 are ultimately of no value and any traffic earned from being in 20th place is of no real difference than being in 70th place.  For that reason its important to only consider positions 11 thru 30 as the ones you need to focus more attention on…they’re close to being on page one and earning traffic.  

It may be optimization the page needs, it could be backlinks or better site structure and speed or an improved meta title and description away from being a producing keyword.

Optimizing Content For SEO

Rather than optimizing existing content for SEO I favor creating content to meet a desired keyword.  I reference any existing content as I did in the beginning of this article but I largely present new content .

In this article if you didn’t know all the keywords are my headers.  They content under that header is meant to support and backup the header and its all relevant to the header.  In this paragraph we are not going to discuss keywords and anchor text because thats optimized if its under the relevant header.

To optimize existing content for SEO we essentially have to rewrite it and place it under the headers and by the time thats all done you likely could have just made a new article.

Any images on the page should tie into a header as well.  Then that keyword should appear in the IMG ALT tag.  The IMG ALT tag is used by the a screen reader to describe to a blind person what is on the page.  Your IMG ALT should therefore describe the image as if to a person who cant see the image.  This can really help a keywords position because it shows that you have multimedia content related to that keyword or topic.

Finding Keywords

There are a lot of suggestions and discussions on keywords.  Lets frst recognize that the day that Keywords ruled SEO are over.  There is NO Keyword Density to aspire towards.  

It used to be that the more you typed a keyword the more you’d rankk for it and those days are gone too.  In fact if you go out of your way to use a keyword it appears as if you are stuffing it in … thats keyword stuffing.  I always use this example:

James Cameron does what James Cameron does because James Cameron is James Cameron.

Don’t write like that … search engines are conceptually based now and canread topics out of natural language.  I can write about a pop singer named Madonna without Google thinking I’m writing about a painting of a lady holding her kid from the renaissance. 

In the end the best way to present your content is in a way Search Engines and site visitors can understand best.  Nature and with purpose.

  Backlinks And Anchor Text

“Backlinks are going away” one of my clients said to me.  They are NOT going away and still are the best indicator of what a site’s potential keywords.  

Think of it like this…if you tell everyone your the best singer, how many people will believe it?  How about if 1000 people tell you this person is the best singer.  More likely to believe the endorsement of others than the self promotion of one. Thats why backlinks from other sites are so much more powerful than on page SEO optimization.

Taking our analogy another step here … which is more important to you.  1000 people tell you that he is the best singer or one person telling you a thousand times?  

Thats essential to your backlinks, the more sites that say it the more powerful over the number of times it is said.

Referring Domains

Referring Domains are the number of sites that you have a backlink from.  The more the better.  But  not all sites are the same just like not all people.  If a 1000 of your family and friends tell you this is the best singer out there it has more weight than if 1000 people you’ve never heard of write you and say this is the best singer.  Thats where domain authority comes into play.  

Google and other search engines value some sites opinions over others.  They’ll also rank those sites higher than other sites.  The more referring domains the better and the more from trusted sources.

With that said you do not want all of your backlinks from only high ranking domains.  There are some great new ones and it takes time to build authority, most sites are not a DA90 o its expected that your backlink distribution should look like a pryamid with most of your backlinks coming from the lower sites simply because there are so many lower sites that may organically link to you.

Where your backlink exists on the page is also important.  If its like SEO Forum its better quality than if its in the footer of the page.

Anchor Text

Anchor Text are the true keywords in todays SERPs.  If the anhor text says Top Rated SEO then that page is going to rank for Top Rated SEO more so than Best Singer.

You want your links to have descriptive anchor text not addresses like https://ultimateseo.net this wont hurt a site or a page but it misses the opportunity to give greater meaning like Ultimate SEO Hosting Plans

If they wanted to trust you, they would have done that in the first two sentences. Audio/Video testimonials are hard to get but more effective for business who sell high-priced or more complex products/services. For most consumer businesses with pricing under $100, text feedback works fine as long as they are genuine and there is contextual identity of the feedback giver: name, designation, location.Apart from feedback from your real customers, Quotes from trusted authority sources( known publisher media/ expert/ rating agency) work as well, as long as they are sourceIs trustworthy and the quote includes you/your business in a direct manner.Tip: Don’t wait to give the Testimonials at the end of the landing-page; after explaining your service and all about yourself. Trust needs to be established in the first note, first meeting. So, throw the social proof in your visitor’s face in big/bold, right after the introduction.If you want to verify if this works or not in real, test it yourself for one week by excluding ( the social proof from your landing-page/homepage or relocating it to the end of the page. Or if you have been doing it wrong till now, test by making it right as I explained. You will see the results yourself.How do I know this works?I have done this for my own website projects and lots of other businesses whose websites I’ve optimized for conversions as a consultant. And it has shown dramatic difference in on-page time and bouncing-rate in User Behavior stats.THE HOW-IT-WORKS PITCH:Now you have introduced yourself and established the trust, now you have their attention. You have made it to the point where they consider reading/listening/watching your pitch worthy of their time and consideration.Bringing new traffic to read this section is not easy and only a fraction of your total visitors will be here reading this, so when they do, you don’t want to waste this opportunity.What you DON'T WANT TO do:You don’t want to occupy this section just with your blabber about yourself or your product’s features or ingredients of your service:I know you are craving to share all about what you have worked on but your prospect is never the right ear for that.THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED. PERIOD. Do that sharing with your friend, partner or your team instead.You don’t want to make sky-high promises which are obviously unattainable.This will dilute their trust in you. Why would you don’t want to lose the chance to offer them genuine, realistic value, that you can rightly deliver and better their lives?Be straight-up with them and even admit a flaw, this increase your authenticity/believability. But remember: the flaw that you admit should be strategic (like how you failed in something which made you strive to learn more about that thing and now you are better at what you do).Don’t be a sympathy seeker, this will backfire. Don’t reveal things like you still pee in your bed at 23 if you do.(unless that is relevant to your pitch somehow).This particularly applies to content creators (YouTubers/Bloggers)You don’t want to be too broad & generic in your offerings.(This requires you to having done your research about the customer segment and shortlisting what are the things they want.)Differentiate yourself by being specific. Solve specific problems. Provide a product/service that can benefit your customer right now.Find your niche. Even better, create your niche. Instead of being a generic copycat of hundred other competitors, being niched would give you a better chance to find, acquire and retain loyal, paying customers as you will be able to serve them well, to the degree they aren’t getting served by anyone else right now.What you WANT TO Do:This is almost a cliche now, but very true: Talk about Benefits not Features.but, you can go one step further:Feelings:What feeling those benefits will generate in your customer? (Will they feel much more confident wearing that leather jacket that you are selling? )Go even one more step further:Emotions:What emotion that feeling invoke in your prospect?The core emotions (Desire, Fear, Anger, Joy, Disgust, Lust, Surprise etc) are the root of the mechanism that we humans base our decisions on, and your prospects are the same humans. You want to have it clear in your mind which core emotion(s) you are invoking/aggravating when you write this section, i.e. present your pitch.Will wearing that leather jacket help your customer in fulfilling their desire to get someone’s number in the club?The DESIRE is the emotion you are after here.If you are selling automated home-security systems, the Feeling that you should be selling is of safety and the core emotion that you should target should be the FEAR of getting attacked.Here’s a real example: a website selling premium polo shirts that I came across in a post on r/Entrepreneur subreddit last week. It is well-written, with a detailed infographic, but still fails to capture attention.Why?Because it goes into every little detail about how the material they use to make their shirts to explaining every step of the process they go through to make their shirts different.However, they do just that, they don’t talk about how it benefits the buyer, how can it make the buyer feel when they wear it. Sad thing is was that I was fighting for you probably the hardest for the longest (hence the Raven crying pic), but then not only does your pal Richie decide to be a lunatic at tribal, but you also were making it quite hard.... I defended you to multiple people, but I can't do anything substantial if A) I don't hear from Linus myself about his potential swing vote and B) You tried to make a deal with Kage to force rocks and not tell me I liked you more than most of these people, but I can't work with someone who makes an alliance and then tries to force it in danger by accepting a selfish proposal to try and save only yourself and not your allies. We win again... woohoo. Not anything different, but the more important part of this round is that I couldn't figure out how finding the idol went, since I'm pretty inexperienced, and honestly would've never figured that out, so I asked Steffen for help, and he goes ahead and just punches in a magic word into a url, and he found the idol and is now choosing to not give it to me, after it being all me who found it for us. I am clearly trusting Steffen for now, but I know he is a VERY smart player, and I wouldn't be surprised if he fucked me over at the end of the day, but I get a strong feeling that he won't do it to me. I just don't think he would, and if he did, it'd probably be one of the shadiest moves that could be pulled, but I'm also not trying to use this thing y'know. It'd be killer if I found it, figured everything out, and Steffen just punched in the URL, and he needed it to save himself and I didn't need it at all. My only concern is if one of us is holding onto it, and then the other needs it played on them, then that's going to leave the person playing the idol VERY vulnerable, but that's something we're just going to have to roll with, and going back to my previous point, if we even need to use this thing, it's a sign of weakness, but also a great tool for us to have in our back pockets.

crow and sarah can eat the entirety of my ass tbh GOD i hate being on a tribe with these people.... after the mess that was the rocks scenario crow came to me and was like "have you talked to alex he has a plan for an alliance" and i went to alex and said ".....crow and sarah didnt they just vote you out?" and he was like "they came to me my dude" so whatever i never trusted them because sarah was sketchy about the hinky vote against me at the rocks tribal... BUT i thought okay theres no reason for them to go thru all this trouble if they were just going to vote out me or alex like we're at the bottom no reason to string us along i guess we could come together vote out kage this one round and from there maybe a unified tribe would allow for more moves for me in the upcoming rounds.... but shortly before tribal brian comes to me and is like im voting out alex i dont want there to be a tie bc crow and sarah are voting alex so im like okay theyre votes are already in for alex and you cant change votes this wont cause IMMEDIATE consequences and im going to need alex still here to back me up for this so 15 minutes before tribal i start WW3 asdfjhasfk i call out sarah and crow for the alliance and for sarah blaming junior for the hinky vote against me blah blah more goes down i say more things alex says things they say things everythings a mess and im just trying to paint the image that those 2 are liars and expose them just in the off chance that someone believes me and has an ounce of doubt against them bc with alex leaving and those 2 lying about it i was alone on this tribe anyway with no real social connections so id be gone next tribal.....but of course we lost the duel immediately after alex was voted out and i went crazy so i dont really have the time to do damage control at this point now its just campaigning which is going to be.................difficult i already went to junior kage and tommy with some campaigning last night but idk im going to need a miracle or someone to realize that i'm an asset that can be used like anyone who saves me right now gains an ally that has no other connections besides them so im prime numbers material in arabia i played such an under the radar social game where even when i backstabbed people and voted everyone out (except ting ting RIP) and i still got them to vote for me in the end bc i formed relationships and remained a likable positive quiet game player.... in this game.... BITCH i'm JT the winner that should have just played once because they just blow up their game from being extra in the next go around

Hey I haven't been here in a while because we literally haven't lost since Mist. Not that there haven't been any developments, because their have been! It's just that the villains suck booty. And they're losing their 5th person in a row tonight. I wasn't really pressed about any of the eliminations other then Jaiden. I wasn't sure if I would have been able to work with him, but I was able to get quite a bit of info out of him. And now my outlet for villain tea is kinda gone. And the fact that I was in Canada all last weekend didn't help me in finding a villain tea substitute. BUT with all of them dropping like flies, it's hard to tell who would be a good candidate :') Other than Jaiden, we saw Ashley go which is fine because she's from India and I want them dead. Alex S went too so that's a thing. I feel like I need to really start messaging some of these villains to gain a connection - whether we swap any time soon or not there's an inevitable merge that there's a chance I could be at. The problem is though, I don't wanna really talk to any of them asdfghjk. Tommy and Sarah sketch me out, Brian and I are not on good terms, and while Linus and Kage could be chaotic and spill shit, I don't wanna get caught up in their messes. That leaves Richie, Junior, and Jonathan. Which obviously one of these 8 is going tonight, so I won't start messaging until after the tribal. I'm still skeptical of a swap and I'm hoping one doesn't happen so I can utilize getting close to the villains that I want to before we ACTUALLY meet up with them. But as for tea on the hero side, there's an obvious conflict on who we would hypothetically take out if we go to tribal. With 12 of us, we need 7 so someone isn't Jaiden'd. The main argument is whether to go for a Malaysian or to just take out Steffen. The thing is, I've been getting really close to Johnny and I think he trusts me. And he wants to bring in Steffen for a strong Solomon 5. Now, I don't want that to last forever seeing as I want Steffen gone soon anyway. But I think we need him for one round. Because the Malaysia/India hybrid duo of Kendall and Alex is a major problem. And Drew is someone who is just a massive threat to begin with. But Isaac still just wants Steffen gone. And he doesn't think that we could take out someone like Kendall or effectively take out Alex with Pippa being close to him. HERE'S THE GAG THOUGH! I talked to Pippa for a little bit one on one today, and she is totally down with taking out Kendall or Alex. The thing is, they both seem a little bit checked out. Kendall has 2 strikes, and Alex has kinda died out since his audition. Which... I absolutely feel for them if they're dealing with real life struggle. But at the same time if they're not gonna be super invested and if one of them already has 2 strikes then I won't question voting them out. So if Isaac knows Pippa is down to come for one of them, then we have the Solomon 5 already. Then it comes down to the outliers of Dom, Trace, Ruthie, and Ashton. I know Pippa and Johnny both really like Dom separately. Isaac likes Trace. I personally like Ashton but dunno how long we could trust him because he seems like he could have a chaotic side to him. And then there's Ruthie who I just would prefer not to really work with long term because she's such a social threat, and if we swap or get to merge way down the line or whatever and Ruthie is there, I feel like she's someone villains would definitely flock to for a potential number because she's so social and kind. And I know girl can be a flipper. So this just comes down to who do we wanna take out, and getting enough people on the same page for my own agenda. Because at the end of the day this is to benefit MY agenda the most. Isaac wants out Steffen still, and I was already able to talk Pippa out of going for Drew first. If we could get a Malaysia/India person out, then Drew, then Steffen, that would be the most optimal. Will it happen? Probably not just because that's so specific. However, it is still at least an outline that I would like to ATTEMPT trying to follow.

In several previous articles we’ve covered: Domain Auditing, Page Speed And SEO, Backlinks and even some less than white hat techniques such as Private Blog Networks, Guest Posts and more.  All of these are cogs in the greater overall machine which is Search Engine Optimization or SEO.  To you and any other website owner it is Search Engine Position Ranking.    In this article we’re going to look more holistically at the sum of the parts and how it fits together.

Search Engine Marketing Vs Search Engine Optimization

SEO is not Search Engine Marketing, or SEM. It is closely related but very different.  In the end both mean to drive relevant traffic to a site but in different, often at odds means.  SEM includes Pay Per Click or PPC traffic, but can also include more paid traffic channels.

I’d argue that a good SEM landing page is an awful SEO landing page.  SEO pages may have a lot of content on them but they are structured in a specific a deliberate manner with everything falling neatly under the page’s topical subject.

PPC requires none of that and its page structure is more geared with conversion in mind.  A good SEO is not necessarily a good SEM and vice versa someone with PPC experience is not an SEO.  I only lay it out like that because I’ve worked for sites where a SEM’s decisions hindered the SEO efforts but they served the PPC interests just fine.

SERPs or Search Engine Rank Position directly translates into increased traffic on your site.  Both SEM and SEO deliver relevant traffic, because you’re able to place yourself in front of people actively researching a topic related to you.  PPC the costs are upfront and the benefit is immediate but not recyclable. SEM the costs are ongoing, the results are delayed by a few weeks but the work is self renewing.  Once a person finds your site SEO isn’t used up … it can continue to deliver traffic day after day with minimal upkeep.

Search Engine Ranking

Ranking number 1 is every webmasters dream for their desired keywords.  I’d love to rank number one for Matthew Leffler but I’m in tough competition from 3 other Matthew Lefflers.  A tennis pro, a lawyer and a sex offender all dance with me in the top positions.

 Now I dont want to make light of what got someone into the position of being on a sex offender site but I will say that its proven to be some of the best SEO out there.

Positions change in SERPs often and reflect the ever changing nature of the web.

Website Ranking

Website Ranking is the goal of most SEO clients and for good reason.  Web Traffic is directly correlated with where your website is ranked for a keyword.  In studies it has been shown that the top three positions will win about half of all the traffic for a given search term. 

  Each position earns about twice as much traffic as the position below it. Thats why its better to be 1st than second and third!

Page One On Google

Page One is the only page.  Page 2 or 3 are ultimately of no value and any traffic earned from being in 20th place is of no real difference than being in 70th place.  For that reason its important to only consider positions 11 thru 30 as the ones you need to focus more attention on…they’re close to being on page one and earning traffic.  

It may be optimization the page needs, it could be backlinks or better site structure and speed or an improved meta title and description away from being a producing keyword.

Optimizing Content For SEO

Rather than optimizing existing content for SEO I favor creating content to meet a desired keyword.  I reference any existing content as I did in the beginning of this article but I largely present new content .

In this article if you didn’t know all the keywords are my headers.  They content under that header is meant to support and backup the header and its all relevant to the header.  In this paragraph we are not going to discuss keywords and anchor text because thats optimized if its under the relevant header.

To optimize existing content for SEO we essentially have to rewrite it and place it under the headers and by the time thats all done you likely could have just made a new article.

Any images on the page should tie into a header as well.  Then that keyword should appear in the IMG ALT tag.  The IMG ALT tag is used by the a screen reader to describe to a blind person what is on the page.  Your IMG ALT should therefore describe the image as if to a person who cant see the image.  This can really help a keywords position because it shows that you have multimedia content related to that keyword or topic.

Finding Keywords

There are a lot of suggestions and discussions on keywords.  Lets frst recognize that the day that Keywords ruled SEO are over.  There is NO Keyword Density to aspire towards.  

It used to be that the more you typed a keyword the more you’d rankk for it and those days are gone too.  In fact if you go out of your way to use a keyword it appears as if you are stuffing it in … thats keyword stuffing.  I always use this example:

James Cameron does what James Cameron does because James Cameron is James Cameron.

Don’t write like that … search engines are conceptually based now and canread topics out of natural language.  I can write about a pop singer named Madonna without Google thinking I’m writing about a painting of a lady holding her kid from the renaissance. 

In the end the best way to present your content is in a way Search Engines and site visitors can understand best.  Nature and with purpose.

  Backlinks And Anchor Text

“Backlinks are going away” one of my clients said to me.  They are NOT going away and still are the best indicator of what a site’s potential keywords.  

Think of it like this…if you tell everyone your the best singer, how many people will believe it?  How about if 1000 people tell you this person is the best singer.  More likely to believe the endorsement of others than the self promotion of one. Thats why backlinks from other sites are so much more powerful than on page SEO optimization.

Taking our analogy another step here … which is more important to you.  1000 people tell you that he is the best singer or one person telling you a thousand times?  

Thats essential to your backlinks, the more sites that say it the more powerful over the number of times it is said.

Referring Domains

Referring Domains are the number of sites that you have a backlink from.  The more the better.  But  not all sites are the same just like not all people.  If a 1000 of your family and friends tell you this is the best singer out there it has more weight than if 1000 people you’ve never heard of write you and say this is the best singer.  Thats where domain authority comes into play.  

Google and other search engines value some sites opinions over others.  They’ll also rank those sites higher than other sites.  The more referring domains the better and the more from trusted sources.

With that said you do not want all of your backlinks from only high ranking domains.  There are some great new ones and it takes time to build authority, most sites are not a DA90 o its expected that your backlink distribution should look like a pryamid with most of your backlinks coming from the lower sites simply because there are so many lower sites that may organically link to you.

Where your backlink exists on the page is also important.  If its like SEO Forum its better quality than if its in the footer of the page.

Anchor Text

Anchor Text are the true keywords in todays SERPs.  If the anhor text says Top Rated SEO then that page is going to rank for Top Rated SEO more so than Best Singer.

You want your links to have descriptive anchor text not addresses like https://ultimateseo.net this wont hurt a site or a page but it misses the opportunity to give greater meaning like Ultimate SEO Hosting Plans
