It seems like a copout answer to just say all of them so I'll give you five in no specific order (below the cut)

Colobanthus quitensis, also known as Antarctic pearlwort. It's one of two known flowering antarctic plants (the other being Antarctic hair grass), it was discovered in the late 1700's-early 1800's. Since Antartica is a dessert it's native plants have a special kind of leaf structure to account for the lack of rainfall.

Cornus florida, or the flowering dogwood. It's native to North America and Mexico, the trees are monoecious meaning that it has both male and female flowers. It also serves as a place for more then 12 species of moths to lay their larvae in.

Phlox subulata, or moss phlox. It's an pink, purple, blue, or white evergreen native to the united states that commonly covers ground in wooded areas. It also serves as a pollinator and can be used to prevent erosion.

Pinus strobus, or the eastern white pine tree. These trees have been known to live for over 400 years and are largely considered the tallest trees in eastern North America. They also serve as habitats for other plants along with animals and insects.

Opuntia, also known as the prickly pear cactus. I had to include some sort of cacti in this because they are so vital to the ecosystem and water cycle. The prickly pear cactus in particular are some of the most cold tolerating cacti, and like many other cacti are only native to the Americas.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? getting emotional over footage of an amateur scuba diver interacting with a coelacanth. they are hunted by large deepwater predators, and here comes a large creature bearing the brightest lights it's ever seen, making strange noises, but it does not shy away. it hovers, calmly, as the diver reaches out and trails a hand down its back. im strongly against the anthropomorphizing of real life animals but the stupid emotional part of me loudly insists this is because it recognizes us, the alternating movements of its four paired limbs matching the diver's four paired limbs, & it is thinking, "hello, cousins, we missed you these 66 million years, it's so good to see you again. welcome back, welcome home."

Obsessed with the idea of Castlevania from Alucard's perspective 'cause like. Imagine your dad is one of the most dangerous people on the planet but you keep forgetting about it because he's also hopelessly and pathetically devoted to your mother to the point of borderline neglecting you which kind of sucks but y'know whatever. And then your mom is brutally and publicly murdered so you head out for your dad's estate already presuming he's cooking up some pretty chill, sweet revenge, only to find out he's actually Actively Planning A Genocide against your own mother's people, of which you're also still technically a part of. So you try telling your dad that's actually Not Chill and he just fucking lunges at you, permanently scarring you and leaving you in a year long coma so now you have to kill your weirdo loser dad which sucks hard cuz y'know. You really don't have anyone else but ok.

But you're still in a coma so then you're woken up by a random mage girl who thinks you're Jesus Christ Reborn and a loser homeless boy who immediately (and homoerotically) tries to fight you and he actually manages to stab you in the gut but you think that's sexy and you ask them if they wanna help you kill your dad and now suddenly you're part of a murder polycule. So like. What I'm trying to say is 10/10 the character of all time

GOOBER TIME

For a while now I've been utterly enamored with the Sky: children of the light design framework and wanted to make a sky costume for eons but could never settle on an outfit (´°ω°`) but! staring down the barrel of autumn, it nudged me into settling on a fall-ish outfit set!!

"picking out" the outfit was a lot of fun. i say picking out in quotes because you might note that uuuuhhhhhhh a lot of what i made isn't actually an in game cosmetic haha (they're all based on actual collectables i swear)

about the costume itself: the mask is made of 8mm EVA foam painted with acrylics. I got the baby smooth finish by priming with PVA glue, painting in thin acrylic layers, doing 4 gloss clear coats, and a final layer of matte sealant (mr super clear). when the lights are on i have literally zero visibility so the eyes are interchangeable!

The cape and staff sash are made of red neoprene scuba and dual tone red and black fur (the burgundy arctic alaskan husky long pile fur line from big Z). I used satins, chiffons, and a linen for the rest of the apparel. I also used fairy lights in the fur and a clear ornament for the neck detail.

delusions, by definition, cannot be explained by things like cultural background - such as having a belief constantly reinforced by intentional attempts to rationalize it for the sake of maintaining power over minorities. yes, someone can be both delusional and a bigot, and yes conspiracy theories can feed into delusions, but the two are not fucking synonymous.

i did not spend my teen years convinced that i was being stalked by demons just to hear so many of you people equate my disability with incel behavior and genocidal propaganda. stop reinforcing harmful connotations about mental health struggles.
