Okay so long story short I think people get too caught up on him being all, disgusting and violent and edgy, while totally disregarding like, the motif behind it, so the image of Remus they have in their mind is just a chaotic "lol random" asshole

For example by focusing more on what he's saying instead of why He does say a lot of random shit, true, but he says it with intent, whether it's to bring awareness to how bad Thomas's mental health is, or to rile Logan up and make him confront his feeling, or challenge Thomas's black and white thinking, and I feel like ppl gloss over that too often for my taste

Many Milkvan fans don't actually like Mike. In fact, a good majority of them seem to get annoyed at Mike for how he treats and acts toward El, yet they still want Milkvan to be endgame. Why is that?

I think it's because they see Mike as being the only 'option' for El to have a romantic relationship within the remainder of the show. And they won't be satisfied without a romance line for El, because of course the female lead has to end up with someone 🙄 I think that's why they want Milkvan to last, in spite of their complaints about Milkvan's lack of development and despite their relationship steadily falling apart since S3.

If there was another option for El, I think they'd take it. But considering Lucas and Dustin are in relationships, and Will is her brother (and gay) Mike is the only possible option they can see for El.

I think they're actually quite worried about Byler happening, despite the front they put on. They worry if Byler happens that El will be alone, and they can't process an El who's single as being "happy" or fulfilling to her.

They conflate El being single = sad ending. And likewise El being with Mike (despite all their relationship issues) = happy ending. They claim to love El but can't see that her whole arc has been about her achieving independence and no longer being influenced by men in her life (Dr Brenner, Hopper, Mike) and defining who she is according to her own terms.

hello fellow fish enjoyer :0 and honestly seeing a fish you like/ are curious about and researching about it (videos, articles, wiki, etc) is a good way to start!

this wiki article is another possible route/starting point I guess if you want more background; there's a few sections that talk about the different groups of fish/sea creatures (like are you interested in invertebrates or fish only, saltwater or freshwater, deep sea or coral reef fish, etc haha)

there's also museums and aquariums if you have access to them! aquarium websites will also usually have a section with what animals they have and little info blurbs about them.

blue planet 1 + 2 documentary series is also a neat watch/start as well if you don't feel like reading a lot at first!

(..actually thinking about it blue planet might've reinforced or started my deep sea fish obsession haha when I first saw it as a kid)

The exact anniversary of it went past without me noticing, but this month marks five years since I last had to go to an ER or urgent care!!! :D

Still don't know what exactly is wrong with me health-wise, but I am doing so much better than I used to be it's a little ridiculous. I was in an urgent care or ER every summer for severe allergic reactions for years, and now I hit that late June/early July mark and don't even notice

I don’t know if you remember but after Sapnap’s visit Sam changed the protocol of retrieving visitors. He stopped using the harming potions (such as in Tommy and Ghostbur’s visits) to get a visitor out of the cell. I know that for Quackity there was an obvious reason but for Tommy? No.

see, the thing is, he does use the harming pots in order to retrieve c!tommy from the cell after he's revived (4:30 in this vod) -- his reasons for not retrieving c!Tommy has nothing to do with his having to go there with the bridge in order to get him out (which is something that he actually is kinda misleading about to c!Ranboo in the conversation they have after c!Tommy dies, tbh), but instead has to do with him being too paranoid about security to let c!Tommy out of the main cell, through the harming pots or not. To be honest I don't think we see how c!Quackity left the prison except for in one case, where c!Techno had just disappeared through the stasis pearl, where c!Quackity does use the bridge in order to get across the lava. And c!Tommy comes back through the bridge during the Ghostbur debacle because c!Sam never puts down the netherite barrier, and you know, c!Tommy is trying to get into the cell to kill c!Dream with the axe he's waving around so that might have to do with that decision.

technically you can probably argue that c!Sam changed protocol for prisoners leaving the cell with c!Quackity, not c!Sapnap's visit, but honestly after c!Tommy dies the only real "visitor" we see that isn't c!Quackity (who operates by his own rules, obviously) was Ghostbur, who I still don't think Sam let into the prison just in order to visit. c!Techno was a ploy in order to trap him in the cell, and we know that c!Sam banned visitation after c!Tommy died and that he continued to disallow certain people from entering the prison, such as c!Sapnap. So honestly just the protocol around visitors in general kinda gets fucked over when c!Tommy dies, not that he wasn't fucking with it before. he doesn't use the harming pots after retrieving c!Tommy post-revival but that's also because c!Dream doesn't have a single normal visitor after the whole thing with c!Tommy, so.

Honestly, for me, one of the more ... uninspired and a little bit grating takes on problématique characters with sad backstories is: "well this other character experienced this and worse and they're not out there killing people!"

i mean, good for them, but I don't think we need a "best practice" approach to trauma

pr63 thinks he's That guy and he can take sir lewis hamilton on and 100% believes he's faster than lewis (delusion cannot be treated if you're in denial)

believing you're faster than lewis is just stage 1 in the losing your mind as lewis hamilton's teammate pipeline and he's already starting to sound really pissed on the team radio so im guessing he's somewhere around stage 3. he needs to understand that he's 80 points (ish) behind lewis in the championship and if merc needs to secure that p2 he needs to let lewis get the points. his radio was so not it in japan. his engineer had to tell him to move his ass THRICE before he said yes to the team orders. if we're fighting for a wdc he needs to get his shit together or be fired bc considering he bins it like all the time he cannot be trusted in a title fight
