people who confuse mun with muse or wanting to date me in irl because they think i am my muses. its annoying and i had it happen more than once before. the last one lasted like three years and i finally cut ties with them nine months ago because it got very toxic for me. i also have a peeve with people forcing a ship or guilting me into one. its an immediate block now.

　EXPERIENCE/HOW MANY YEARS　

I've been rping since the late 90s and early 00s. I started in the days of old. On yahoo chat rooms and message boards. My first muse was Xena the Warrior Princess, Morgan Le Fay and Kimberly the Pink Ranger. I didn't get to writing males until five years after because then it was frowned on for females muns to write males. This was way before I realized I was non binary and more comfortable writing male muses. Though there are a few expections. (Kahlan, Rita, Violet to name a few)

　FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT　

I love angst way too much. Ask any of my partners. I love throwing in twists and turns into our threads and dark themes. (Most of my muses are victims of abuse in some way or another. I blame me trauma dumping into them. Its how I've been healing.) Fluff comes in second. Smut is third.

　PLOTS OR MEMES　

Honestly, I love plotting to an extent. I don't like coming up with all the ideas. If I feel that's happening then I am less likely to rp with someone. Memes I love it because I really get to get into my muse's heads and let them flourish. I love turning memes into threads.

　LONG OR SHORT REPLIES

My replies tend to be in between one to three paras. Novella can happen but I need to have major muse for that. Those replies will be waiting longer. I tend to like threads that have three paras. It gives me the right amount to reply too.

　TIME TO WRITE

I write when it strikes me. Summers are harder for me since the house is nosy and I tend to do my best replying when the house is quiet.

Yes and no. I do put apart of myself into my muses. I only pick up muses I can relate too and see apart of myself in. Quentin is the closet to me. I have many of his quirks and his obsessions. I'm a flat nerd like him and am nerurodivergent too.

best experience : When I wrote as Hestia (Greek goddess of the Hearth) and the first time I had Ishtar (Mesopotamian goddess of Love & War) a few years ago cause let me tell you, the mythology community was poppin. Everyone was so open and it was beyond fun to explore all these kinds of relationships, especially the familial bonds within a pantheon.

rp pet peeves : Hands down godmodding. Most of my muses I've had for years and have poured an insane amount of love into them and for someone else to control them??? Especially my ocs? Hardblocked on sight. Minor godmodding is chill, like if you're muse hands mine something and its assumed that they take it or if your muse wants mine to follow yours because that moves the thread along. But to essentially write my muse for me and change core things about them or what their realistic reactions are is an absolute no go. I recently had something like this happen to Dama where the other mun turned her into this sniveling little girl to make their muse look better and it was so fucking gross. If you want something specific to happen I'd prefer we talk about it.

fluff, angst, or smut : I love me some good fucking fluff, and if we have a fun/close dynamic going on I'll absolutely eat angst up. As for smut, I used to write it a lot a few years ago but it's not something that interests me now.

plots or memes : Both! I like plotting around memes with new partners and I think it's the easiest way to get things going.

long or short replies : I prefer shorter replies, like 1-2 paragraphs, for the most part. Anything longer I need a plot to follow and they tend to take longer for me to put out. I have to literally be in love with you to have muse for a novella thread though.

time to write : When I can't lol Like when I'm at work or its really late and I have to go to sleep soon-- or even like rn. I have a lot a muse but I have to leave in a few minutes to hang out with my family.

──── 𓆩*𓆪 𝑳𝑶𝑨𝑫𝑰𝑵𝑮 … Hello again !! It's 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐑 (he/him, 21+), @hdjamie mun, and this is my nightmare child 𝐑𝐘𝐔 𝐘𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐔𝐋 (21, Behigh Lab). He's like... a huge problem, apologies in advance. Yiseul initially comes across as a rather quite (but not shy) person. He's 'mysterious' to most people, as they typically figure out after telling him their entire life story that they barely know anything about him, even that his sister is Starlight trainee 𝐑𝐘𝐔 𝐌𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐍. He's unpredictable, and hot and cold a lot of the time, can snap at the smallest things and get very catty, and doesn't forgive easily (or at all). He's a big believer in 'revenge is sweet'. Primarily, he’s a singer, but is a very strong performer, and writes songs (which he will never show anyone—at least not for a long time). He loves playing the guitar, long night walks, and ruining lives (joking... or am I?). Here you can find his 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐅𝐈𝐋𝐄 (here I am slacking on another background... but it'll come ! promise ! ) and under the cut I’ll leave some general info about him to kickstart any plotting ideas. Yiseul is the older brother of @hdmolan , however they do not get along, or well, Yiseul doesn't get along well with her, but he won't ever give the real reason why

He grew up in Manhattan, NY, with all the high-expectations that successful parents usually put on their kids resting on his shoulders. But Yiseul wasn't anything like Molan, who arrived not even a year after his birth—it was as if they knew he was faulty, not perfect like they wanted

While not stupid, Yiseul wasn't a successful as his sister, in school or acting things he was pushed to do, only complying because he wanted to please his parents. He got great grades in English, Art, and Music, but his Math, Science and PhysEd grades were worryingly low

Young Yiseul wanted nothing more than to make friends and have fun, but he was naive and far too trusting, and would end up buying things for his 'friends', until he overheard them talking about how pathetic he was, and how if it weren't for his parents money they'd not keep him around. After that he didn't make friends anymore, at least not for a very long time

Due to people using him when he was young, he's incredibly private, and doesn't talk about his family, or home life at all, and tends to keep people at arms length, however he's nosy, and loves to have the upper hand, so he'll take and take and take, and give nothing back information wise—you can feel like you've told Yiseul your entire like story, and then realise you barely know a single thing about him

After the 'friend incident' when he was about 10, Yiseul began turning inwards, and realised the only person he can trust is himself. This tends to make him a little heartless and inconsiderate of other people, and when he's angry, he can be outright mean. It's safe to say he's got a lot of enemies

Yiseul doesn't talk about how he feels, so most of his emotions either go into his journal, or his lyrics—he's always writing, or doodling, but he absolutely will not share anything he writes with anyone

As 'turned inward' as he is, he likes attention, and being desired, admired, idolised—guess that's why he's in this line of work. He wants everyone to want to know all about him, and yet never be able to know a single thing. He wants to be an unknowable enigma (pretentious, honestly)

While he used to refuse to make friends (his early to mid teens were spent mostly alone) he's a little more open to it now, though he still keeps people at arms length, and does a bit of a 'push and pull' with people—pushing them away when he feels they've gotten to close, and pulling them back in when he decides he wants their attention again

During his solitary teen years, he focused on music lessons, writing songs, playing in the rock band he'd fallen into, and going for long walks (to the point he was almost reported missing a couple times when he failed to come home until the early hours of the morning)

He'd never thought of being an idol until Molan got signed and while he didn't want to copy her, he realised he didn't really have any idea of what he wanted to do, especially having just graduated and started college with an undetermined major, so he auditioned in the fall of 2020, and began training December 2020

He mainly focuses on singing, performance skills (like facial expressions and small gestures—born to be a center tbh) and songwriting, but he won't share his private lyrics with anyone, he writes separate less personal stuff if he has to show stuff

Yiseul loves old things—antiques, old music, old tech, etc. Nostalgic vibes (even though he wasn't around when most of the stuff he likes was made). Very much a 'tortured artist/manic pixie dream boy'

(( Given Miranda’s earfins and the sensitivity of her hearing: you can fully assume that, unless someone takes special precautions in order to not be heard by her, that she can always hear everything that’s around her. Within Spooky High, she knows everything that’s making a sound inside of the building, and that includes natural eavesdropping on conversations. At Camp, it’s a little more difficult given the sheer amount of space, but she can still fully listen in on what’s happening without someone else even being able to see her.

I will not bring it up unless I’ve talked to the other mun and they’ve said it’s okay, but in threads and the like, Miranda’s absolutely listening in on other muses! It’s not that she’s doing it intentionally, but... well, her fins just work as natural radar dishes, and she’s made to pick up on even the quietest of sounds, and the land has a much different range of what sounds can or can’t be heard, and Miranda’s just kind of naturally nosy!

Likewise, while this isn’t a piece of information landfolk would automatically know about Miranda, I’m also not going to be super picky on other muses knowing that she can hear them. With the other ROs especially, she’s very excited to share gossip and things she’s overheard, and generally use this ability for shenanigans. Even other people who are already well-acquainted with her are likely aware of this, either from Miranda making casual reference to it, or from her complaining about a sound that everyone else is entirely unable to hear. It’s not something she shows off and makes a special point to talk about, but it’s not something she hides either, and it gets used quite often.

But, yeah! Assume that, if any conversation happens within a mile of Miranda, she probably knows about it and heard it as it happened. Even if you’re just walking around somewhere or doing something, and trying not to make noise, Miranda’s likely heard you and knows where you are and approximately what was happening! Most people’s barriers for sound are a lot higher than Miranda’s, so things that other people might think are quiet or silent are clear as day to Miranda! And the same goes for other merfolk too, when they show up.

1. ( what is your muse's sexual/romantic orientation ? ) the closest matching term I can find for his orientation is femmesexual; — which is ' the attraction to people who choose to identify as femme , identify with femininity , and/or use feminine labels/pronouns . ' it’s a broad and vague definition , but I think that’s okay for the purposes of explaining his sexuality since it can be quite fluid . and in fact if you ask him ( IC ) , he chooses not to label his sexuality, because it’s kinda just a big Shrug to him and he doesn’t really care; he simply likes whoever he likes, and does not think about it or analyse what label it fits under … but this is the OOC answer from the mun~ 31. ( does your muse develop crushes easily ; would they be open about it to a friend or keep it to themselves* ? ) I would say it’s pretty easy for him to develop minor crushes, yeah. to fall in love or develop serious feelings is NOT quick or easy for him . . . but a small crush? sure! and this kind of fits with the next question, but, the reason for that is: he finds people in general to be interesting ( psychologically ) so it’s not at all unusual for him to become interested & curious about an individual. he often spends time getting to know people, asking them a lot of questions about their lives and their opinions on stuff . . . so idk, his personality being kind of curious and nosy that way increases the chance of him forming some kind of bond with them i guess asajjj. so, yes: if he's single, it may not take much more than a pretty face and some stimulating conversation for him to develop a small crush jajssj / but that doesn’t mean he’s a shallow person or incapable of forming much deeper bonds ! that is just one facet of his personality, and it reflects his curiosity towards other humans and their lives, rather than a flightiness or inconsistency of love. a crush =/= love; i think of a crush as like, physical attraction + a dash of romantic attraction. but it's really rare for him to develop romantic feelings beyond a crush. but when he does, he feels a deep and rich love that is loyal and intimate ! / ( * && this part depends entirely on the context of the person he has a crush on; it’s really circumstantial. he can keep a secret it he has to… but if he doesn’t have to keep it a secret, he’ll probably gush to a close friend about them . . . and/or, ya know, just tell the crush, LOL. he's not usually very shy about it. but it really depends on the context & the person, so I don't have much of an answer for this part!! ) 32. I get ideas from a lot of things, meta and headcanons definitely are one which is why I try to make sure to peep all of them when they’re posted, even the ones I didn’t ask. I’m nosy and I want to know about your characters as much as possible, whether they’re a version of a canon or an OC.

Gee, I don’t know, maybe you should go ask Avarice 🤣 nah but I think the x people are usually who I’ve gotten along with out the gate just because it’s my area of comfort. Other people I might have followed for like, a year or more either strictly writing or not even doing that before really speaking to and then getting along super well- see Ben, Shady, even Tal. I talk a lot of shit but honestly I’m still shy with new people even if I don’t generally have a problem with messaging someone first (especially if I was the one to do the following, onus is on me). TLDR: you might go 1+ years of me not speaking to you much, and then you’re stuck with me for life out of nowhere.
