Okay, you’ve seen that art of Jack in what looks like an 80’s horror movie poster, right? What if Something’s Wrong With Sunny Day Jack was a literal horror movie? We’d all OBVIOUSLY watch it, but what would your ideal SDJ movie be?

Ah yes, I loved that mock horror movie poster. It reminded me of when I would dare to stroll through the horror movie section of the video rental store to see all the creepy box art. Such a cool picture.

Hmm... my ideal SDJ movie... Well, while it would still have horror elements, it would be more of a thriller romance. I don't know if you noticed, but I'm a sucker for my OTP of Alice and Jack, which is why I'm writing my own version of the canon with Sunshine in Hell to guarantee that they'll have a happily ever after that involves lots of cuddles and smooches.

In a lot of ways my ideal SDJ movie would be a condensed version of Sunshine in Hell. The overarching plot would be to have Jack be twisted by his time in the tape, clingy and attached to his sunshine, Alice, but at the same time still human and just needing love and warmth.

Really, in order to fit in the 90-270 minute average run time movies have, a lot of corners would be cut. The focus would be trimmed down to the paranormal romance of it, the forbidden nature of Alice loving an entity that is both no longer human and has the potential to be very dangerous. Jack being a legitimate threat to those who would take her away from him, while she tries to help him keep his humanity and avoid the urge to kill in order to keep her. At the same time we learn how he got into the situation and what kind of evils LambsWork unleashed to do something like this to him.

In a sense, this would be the type of paranormal romance movie I would have wanted to see rather than the types that are churned out. Instead of a ML who is all angsty and brooding, warning the FL that they're dangerous and to stay away... this one is trying to keep the FL to himself and convince her that he's not dangerous so that she won't go away.

There's a very legitimate struggle that Jack has with not being human, as well as the scars of his past. People would have reason to be scared of a ghost(?) like him, and even Alice has reason to be wary, but ultimately she chooses to believe in his love and humanity, which heals him in the end.

The climax of the movie would most likely be Jack on the brink of breaking... from the truth of his past, from fears that he's no longer real, that he's not even the ghost of the man once known as Joseph Cullman, but something entirely different... something completely fake. The ghost of a ghost...

Rotting and bleeding between both forms, torn between wanting revenge against those who created/did this to him and just desperately lashing out. That's when Alice stops him and talks him down from the metaphorical edge.

Jack doesn't have to hurt anyone. He doesn't have to hurt himself anymore with what he is or was. Even if he's not human... even if the world can't understand him, he exists. He is who he chooses to be.

And Alice chooses to be with Jack because he's someone who chose to love her and always tried to make her happy... and because she loves him more than anyone else in the world, no matter what he is.

A crying breakdown happens as Alice reaches Jack's humanity and they kiss. It's probably a dark and stormy night because drama and aesthetics.✨

After that, there's an aftermath in the sunshine of Alice waking Jack up in her bed, a reversal of all the times she woke him up. He pretends he's still asleep so that she leans in closer and he pulls her down on top of him for a kiss and cuddle, sending them both into a fit of giggles.

Jack is no longer in his clown costume and makeup, but he doesn't look like he did as Joseph either. He has a mixture of blue and brown hair, and different markings where his tattoos were, new marks to symbolize his new self and new attempt at life, but one of them is still a heart, only it has colorful wings around it and a glow like sunshine to it.

Alice teases Jack that she's a bad influence on him, referring to him sleeping in. He teasingly retorts that she's the best influence on him, and kisses her sweetly.

Essentially the movie ends with a sweet domestic life between them, a little bit different than before, and never being normal, but still a life they live full of love that is never boring and always sunny~

WHAT IS YOUR WRITING GENRE?

Before we get started with the descriptive genres we need to get familiar with some abbreviations used in book descriptions.

Abbreviations Used In Book Descriptions

I actually thought I was familiar with all the abbreviations used in book descriptions until I found this list. Some of these things I’ve never heard of before! They are often used by reviewers and some writers in book descriptions, so I think it behooves ignorant writers like me to at least know what they are.

PNR is the acronym typically used for paranormal romance: Shifters and vampires and mermaids and so much more. Shifters are people able to become various animals. Vampires are simply vampires. It depends on the writer whether they are good or bad. The one thing most of them seem to have in common is drinking blood or sometimes life essence. A few writers of fantasy like Ilona Andrews (husband and wife writing team) treated them as another species (theirs don’t drink blood).

PWF Paranormal Women’s Fiction. These books will have adventure, passion, and LIFE. And they’ll kick ass, just like all our books already do! We are not inventing books with 40+ heroines. We are hoping to define a place for them amongst other genres.

OTP: One True Pairing (that couple that you will root for till the end of time)


NOTP: (Pronounced No-TP) Basically the opposite of an OTP. You do not want this couple together!

BROTP/Bromance: A friendship (between guys) that you adore!

Ship: If you ship a couple, it means that you want them to get together (comes from the word “relationship”).


HEA: Happily Ever After


Book Boyfriend/Girlfriend: The fictional boy (or girl) you only wishcould be your real-life love.


Insta-love/Insta-lust: The phenomenon that happens all too often in books when the couple meets and instantly falls in love (or, sometimes, lust).


Love Triangle: When the main character can’t decide between two romantic partners—most frustrating when this is drawn out for multiple books in a series.


Slash Fiction: A type of fan fiction where two same-sex characters are paired together (often guys). Sometimes slash can just refer to the imagined pairing of two same-sex characters (not necessarily within fan fiction).


OMYM/OWYM: Older man, younger woman/Older woman, younger man

M/M Male/male romance

F/F female/female romance

RH reverse harem - typically one woman several men

MC: Main character (book is told from their POV).


POV: Point of view (the perspective that the book is told from).


POC/BIPOC: People of color/Black, Indigenous, and people of color


Daphne: A female character who has to be rescued all the time (in reference to Daphne from Scooby Doo)


Mary Sue: A character who is too perfect and/or too good which, strangely.


Manic Pixie Dream Girl: A type of female character depicted as vivacious and appealingly quirky, whose main purpose within the narrative is to inspire a greater appreciation for life in a male protagonist.


Twist: An unexpected event in a book—typically one that changes the direction of the plot or characters dramatically.

Info-Dump: When the author gives you lots of background information all at once via narration or dialogue.


Bechdel Test: a set of criteria used as a test to evaluate a work of fiction (such as a film) on the basis of its inclusion and representation of female characters. the term was popularized by American Cartoonist Alison Bechdel so it was named after her. Alison Bechdel never claimed to be the originator of the test. In fact, she never gave it a name. She credited her friend Liz Wallace for the idea, but also the work of author Virginia Woolf in her essay “A Room of One’s Own”.


Unreliable Narrator: A narrator whose POV is not trustworthy (could be due to lying, misinformation on the part of the MC, mental health or memory issues, etc.).

Agent: a person who acts on behalf of an author, negotiating with publishers and promoters.

Alpha Reader
The first reader, usually a non-professional, who provides feedback on a writer’s work.

ANT
Antagonist: the adversary or competitor to the hero/protagonist of any story.

APS
Associated Press Stylebook: a writer’s and journalist’s reference manual for rules on grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, abbreviations, and word and numeral usage.

ARC
Advance Reader Copy: free copy of a book given by a publisher to media, librarians, or other readers in advance of official publication.

ASIN
Amazon Standard Identification Number: Amazon’s unique identifier for each book they sell.

AU
Alternate universe: a fictional universe in which recognizable details are changed in order to create the story.

Beta Reader
A reader, usually non-professional, who provides feedback on a book after a writer has made revisions inspired by alpha readers.

BG
Bad guy: the Freddy Krueger, Lord Voldemort, or Darth Vader of your narrative.

BS
Backstory: history or background that occurs before the current events of a story.

Character Arc
The inner journey and transformation in personality of a character between the beginning and the end of a story.

CMOS
Chicago Manual of Style: a writer’s and editor’s reference manual for grammar usage, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, abbreviations, and word and numeral usage.

Cont
Contemporary (genre): a genre that, although fictional, depicts realistic events that could happen in today’s society. An example: The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.

CP
Critique Partner: a writer who provides feedback on a fellow writer’s work.

Drabble
One hundred words that tell a story. Drabbles, because of their brevity, demand strong verbs, zero redundancies, and minimal showing. They usually require more time to write than longer stories.

F & SF
Fantasy And Science Fiction (genre): make-believe worlds and characters combined with narrative that is based on scientific principles. Think Star Wars by George Lucas, et al.

FF
Flash Fiction: very short fiction, usually containing fewer than 1000 words.

FN/Fant
Fantasy (genre): stories about mythical worlds often populated by magical creatures. Example: Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling.

GMC
Goal, motivation, conflict: important elements for engaging stories.

GN
Graphic Novel (genre): stories that are told using a combination of graphic panels and text. Although a graphic novel may be similar to a comic book in format, it usually encompasses an intriguing plot with character growth. Example: the Logan’s Run graphic novels by William F. Nolan, et al.

ohhhh my god big q’s so quirky but in that terrible way where you feel slightly uneasy and worried every time he’s around. his character development has been so good (in terms of narrative, not for him personally) and it’s a delight to revisit old streams to see how far he’s come. all sorts of disparate character types like a suave businessman, slimy politician, or revenge-bent ex all come together to make a very compelling and interesting antagonist or at least anti-hero. there’s just so much emotional stuff that he’s gone through that drives me bonkers! so much angst to draw on!

Why I don’t

some plot threads got dropped, or just aren’t focused on as much as i’d like them to be. like, why go to the trouble of eating your fiance’s heart raw and exhibit signs of possession just to not go deeper into the paranormal aspects X_X

what’s your favourite character from 1?

If I have to pick one, i would say Griffin, her character was always magnetic to me, there’s a whole hidden backstory behind her and you can’t help but falling in love with her stern. I would place next to her Darcy and Valtor.

who’s your least favourite character in 2?

Cain. I hate him and sometimes. At first he wasn’t that bad, I was curious about his story and intentions and relationship with God. During the first episode I thought he had a lot of potential and a some sort of depht to his character: he was the first assassin, a biblical figure, now chasing killer all around LA, isn’it crazy? As the episodes he dropped his good cope facade and turned out to be a ‘’douchebag’’ playing his sick game all along. And nobody can get Lucifer and Chloe to fall apart, never!

what’s your favourite episode of 4?

It’s between ‘’Grilled Cheesus’’ and "Britney/Brittany". The first is really Kurt (my fav chacters) centered, his struggles with his dad illness and founding Jesus face in grilled cheese. . Every characters gets the chance to share his personal view on religion and a very unique way and obv with music. The second one, well, I’m in love with Britney Spears and her songs and being the episode ‘’Britney theme’’ was an instant hit for me.

what is your favorite season of 5?

Season 5. We get to see into Dr House’s mind and psychology even more and it’s simply incredible.

what’s your favorite couple of 3?

Sorry, I don’t have one, except for Violet and Tate there isn’t such a big screen time given to couples, romance it’s not the main feature and if so, the two lovers don’t get to be together due to their dark twisted minds never realizing what they’re in front of it’s their real love, and it’s anthology series, so you don’t get to see all the characters every season, they are (almost) never the same. Btw I like The Countess and Donovan and I ship Mallory-Micheal Langdon for some unknown reasons.

I don’t remember the titles well, but 3x10 where my OTP was born.

The first one. We are introduced to the Devil Himself, Lucifer Morningstar in the best way possible: a black Corvette, a suit, a nightclub of perdition and free will, irony and sass and troubles with the police because, well, there ain’t no rest for the wicked!

how long have you been watching 1?

An extremely long time, I might’ve been 3 or 4, i rly don’t know. Here in Italy was such an huge thing and every girl would watch it. I still remember all the ‘’fights’’ in kindergarten for ‘’who was gonna be who’’ out of the six fairies, all the different dolls and stuff with the fairies’ faces my mom bought me and the event for the first movie. Yeah, it was just crazy but I keep all these moments dearly to my heart. I haven’t watched all the seasons, I’m not planning to, I stopped at season 4 and I rewatched the first three a couple of times and loved’em.

how did you get into 3?

I’ll tell you a story, I’ve been obsessed with magic, paranormal and horror stuff since I was a child and I would sneak into my mom’s bed cause I was too afraid to get killed by the Scream mask. Especially during middle school my bbf and I watched all the horror movies ever made in history, read a lot of books on the matter (my fav being Dracula, I’m always in the mood for a great gothic novel and a hopeless love story) and tried to perform some crazy rituals according to some creepypastas and questionable urban legends. The thing was that my 13 years old self had a liking for witches and she wanted to be one, so she came across this marvelous tv show going by the name of AHS Coven and it was love at first sight. Jessica Lange as Fiona Goode was simply breathtaking and I was captured by her humor and complexity... and she was a witch as well! The aftermath was me bingewatching the newest season every single October of the year.

favorite actor in 4?

Definitely Chris Colfer. His performance was outstanding as for his vocal abilities. 

which do you prefer? 1, 2 or 5?

I love 1, will always be in my heart, but it’s still relevant to me just cause of my OTP (GriffinxValtor) and the Trix, my first approach to witches. I think I’m more into 2 and waiting for the upcoming season. The 5 will always be one of my fav of all times, it did make me passionate about medicine and willing to make it my job, but it ended years ago and I watched it while I was in middle school so yeah. I’m currently watching some other series that would deserve a spot, but there was only 5.

1 when I was a child, 3 now that I am a teen. 

if you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?

I guess Santana, i feel like we are similar, idk.

would a crossover of 3 and 4 work?

Yes. They’re both Ryan Murphy’s creation and crossover wouldn’t have been bad since there are some musical scenes scattered around AHS. Both of the series revolves a lot around pop culture, 3 it’s focused on the dark side and horror culture, while 4 it’s way lighter and all about pop music, musical world and pop personalites, but never being shallow, (it does deal with religion, omophobia, bullying and other relevant social issues), and have so well-written characters. The crossover i can think of would be set in a theater, the performers are getting ready for their debut and some crazy stuff starts happening  in AHS style. 

pair two characters in 1 who would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple?

IcyxSky, in some ways and after a lot of drama they could make a nice couple.

overall, which show has the better storyline, 3 or 5?

They are different, AHS doesn’t have a storyline as whole and its strongest point is the characters and their development. I’ll choose 5.

which has better theme music, 2 or 4?

It’s tie between Lucifer and Glee, you can’t pick one, both of the soundtracks are bomb, and one of them it’ kind of a musical.

1. Do you like how you portray your muse?

I’m almost never completely satisfied with how I portray Hanzo Hasashi & Kuai Liang. I am already insecure about my writing and how it comes across regarding my characterizations, specifically their introspection and my analysis of them in general. There are moments when I’d like to think that my writing is of decent quality, but often times, I am not very confident on how I execute my visualizations and imaginations and transcribing them to words. I just wish my dense, poetic writing comes across without its meaning being lost in obfuscated fog. 

4. What aspects of your muse do you most want to explore?

I think I already explored Hanzo’s torment in countless threads with numerous mutuals already, so I would like to stray away from the canonical aspect of Hanzo and Kuai and divulge in ‘what if’ scenarios; the current thing I really want to explore is MK11 Scorpion with older Kuai Liang (a canon rewrite of sorts where Sub-Zero helps the younger Scorpion/Hanzo Hasashi to straighten his path so that he could become a proper Shirai Ryu Grandmaster, as he would naturally go through his redemption arc without killed off with a mere shock value) and more modern Hanzo and Kuai for sure. 

My modern Hanzo is an amalgam of Scorpion and MK11 Hanzo, so he has this nice balance of volatile chaoticness and matured and kind soul with a heart of gold. My modern Kuai is a tormented, yet exceptionally talented special crime investigator who suffers from a slew of nightmares, sleepwalking and other supernatural and unexplainable paranormal activities (such as talking with ghosts, having uncanny abilities to solve crimes by getting into the heads of the criminal’s mind). Most importantly, regardless of verses, I want this to happen; a traumatized character (both Hanzo and Kuai) finding happiness through their slow, yet steady recovery and becoming much more powerful and relevant in the story. I also would like to delve into possibilities of MK12, although it isn’t obviously out yet. 

10. Are there any crossovers you’d be especially interested in writing?

I already put Hanzo Hasashi in numerous non-canonical settings, including Westworld verse (his ronin verse, with @akanenxmai​‘s Akane), a canon and modern AU with a Samurai Jack ( @sonxflight​‘s Samurai Jack/Ryou Sakai), and a Witcher verse (with @wolfcoined​ and @riviasblade​). I’d also like to shove Kuai into other verses as well, although I am not as confident writing him than Hanzo. 

13. Do you have any plans for the future of your muse? Would you like to see them grow a certain way?

Refer to my answer to question #4; as much as I am a masochist and like to make Hanzo and Kuai suffer more than necessary, I really do wish that they could conquer their traumas and PTSD and live with their much well-deserved happiness. I want Hanzo Hasashi and Kuai Liang to grow old together, defend the Earthrealm until their last breath and live contentedly in their arms in peace and solemnity. The clans may unite and finally merge, and hopefully I will get to see more joint action where they are sensually intimate, sexually explore each other in carnal desire, and just love each other more than their body, mind and soul; because I truly see them as soulmates. 

And then there are other non-canonical and crossover ships I’ve grown to treasure (and even became my OTPs) that exist. I would also like to see Hanzo conquer the demons of his mind and his past and let the halcyon stretch of future justify the means of his suffering, that no trials and tribulations were meaningless as long as he finds the spark of light in someone.

Shippinghas always been fun for me, and Ihave always enjoyed the experiences I have had regarding the pairs I havegotten the pleasure of writing over the years. Regarding ships for Hikari that I enjoy? It’s not a canoncharacter ship by any stretch of the imagination – but I deeply adore the shipbetween me and my friend Red (@xhentai-man / @redicidium). Jay and Hikari still sit very, very dear within my heart, andregardless how many other dynamics we create for hers and mines characters – the two of them stand out as the original OTP of this blog.–Regarding ‘canon’ ships? (Aka, Hikari’s Main verse/Pokémon verse).I have always enjoyed the dynamic of villains/anti-heroesand protagonists – and I neverreally thought myself to get that, given that there a lot of… Well, let’s say there’snot a lot of respect for charactersthat are developed beyond their ten year old canonical counterparts. (And I do realize there’s good reason for itat times, and that Hikari isn’t exactly a shining example – as she is, in mindand body, still a teenager.) But, well, I have been proven a bit wrong with that, haha.

So, Archer and Hikari (@executive-geneticist) is a ship I’m looking forward to seeingdevelop as time goes on, and it’s a ship that I enjoy greatly – even if notmuch has been built around it as of yet, beyond small mentions of things.

Surprisingly, the people that I have really wanted to write with, I have gotten the chance to write with. If allthose experiences, at the end of the day, was enjoyable? Well, noteverything can pan out in your favor. But, most of them have left me feeling happy, and were great experiences.(And truly, most of these haven’t ended –and I still talk to these people as often as the opportunity presents itself.)–Plots that I would like to do is abit harder to give a true answer to,as I have so many things that I wantto write, but most likely won’t. I would love the chance of having a threadwith Hikari’s father, regarding his ‘healing’crafts of which he left his family behind to pursue. Yet I realize that it’s a bitimpossible, given where his storylays in this moment – and that I need to move him forward in his timeframe, ifI want to have interactions that would be genuinely interesting.

Other thingsare just… To get to try more different themesof interactions, be they adventurebased or something else entirely. Igreatly enjoy world building withinthreads, and so that’s something I will always jump on to work through with awilling partner, should the chance present itself. (This goes for character development as well – as it’s wonderful to getto share that experience with a writing partner.) AU’s, of course, are greatfuntoo – and I really want to do paranormalrelated threads, because they seem like they would be a lot of fun. Alright so…I’m sure this happens in any forumfor roleplay, but it’s something I have personal only noticed, since joiningthe tumblr rpc this past year. –Thread hoarders should really reconsider how they treat theirplatform. What I mean by that, is that it appears that people don’t see a limit to how many starter calls they will put up, how many calls for attention they give, so that they get piled up with things they need to do that – I suppose – makes them feel busyand important?A simplification of the matter, yes,but it’s always easier to understand things when they are simplified so… give me abreak. Lol.

Aka – it’s stupid of you to put out starter calls, or plotting calls, inbox callsor whatever you may do, when you KNOWthat you have 10+ threads and requests for starters sitting in yourdrafts. Because, y’know where that eventuallyleads you? You make a post that you’re goingto drop half of them, and only keep the interactions that you care about (often with friends – which isn’t bad mindyou)…. Only to then, in the samebreath, ask for more interactions.–As though you couldn’t understand WHY you had to drop things in the firstplace.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH HAVING A FEWINTERACTIONS AT A TIME! Seriously… I personally can’t handleit, if I have more than a few threads going at one time – and often the threadsI have are ‘demanding’, as I write a lot. Which is the way I like it, but that’s beside the point… Peopleneed to know their limits, and understand that it’s pretty shittybehavior to either ask for a starter that you KNOW you’ll never get to, or to promise starters and replies thatyou never intend to do.

It’s even shittier, if you can’tmessage the person who wrote something for you to let them know that you’re not actually feeling thethread/starter you two have together. Seriously… Trust me when I say thatthe people that you reject along the way will be happier that you were honestwith them, rather than leaving them in the dirt without messaging them back.

We all makemistakes, and I’m not perfect in these things either… But I know my limits.

I alwaysfind questions like this hard to answer – even if the givenquestion asks for something I like about my muse. Because, of course I like my muse – and ofcourse there’s things I don’t like about my muse. But it’s hard to point them out, as often youview your characters through a bit of rose-tinted glasses that are hard to lookbeyond.–Just… Simply regarding Hikari as a person?She really holds grudges againstcertain people, yet can’t stand up against them. She is weak in so many ways, beit physically or mentally. Yet it’s not something that seemingly affects her inher ability to function. Hikari willinglyblinds herself to some things, and indulges herself far too much in others. And it’s hard to explain these things, as it allhas to do with context – but Hikari has many flaws within her personality and behavior,and I do hope that, in general, it showsin my writing regarding her.

Other thanthat…. From a mun/writer perspective? Girl is taxing as hell- pfft. I don’tdislike it about her, as I really do enjoy writing her – and its reallyall I do in my spare time, when given the option to. Seriously- my mind spins around with scenarios andideas regarding Hikari and her world constantly, and I can’t shut it the fUCK UP. But it can be mentallytaxing sometimes.

Oh, absolutely! Though some of my fears haveleft me, as time has gone on, some still lingerand are seemingly… impossible to movepast. I do realize that, anyone that has ever talked to me for any longerthan a few minutes via privates chats can tell you that I’m,,, awkwardas hell. And I’m greatly aware of this fact, and it really doesn’thelp me in feeling as though I’m notan annoyance, or like I don’t say oddthings. I don’t know if it’s me having trouble coming into my own skin andfeeling confident in my thoughts and feelings, or excitements for certainthings – or if I’m truly socially inept haha. Either way – regarding characterinteraction… I, in general, just always stress about my writing. Thatit’s not as good as I would want itto be, that the starters I write for people lackdirection (even though they don’t appearthat way to me) and just… simplethings like that. If my way of writing is hard to read, if it’s toomuch, if Hikari is as flat as aboard and I just think that Ihave developed a decent character out of a protagonist that lacks anything besides appearance and the strengthyou give them along the way.

Just, y’know…casual such things.

😍 ; Is there anyone who inspires you or that you look up to?

My biggest writing inspiration to this day,and who has really changed the way I write for (hopefully) the better – is themangaka Asano Inio. Specifically, though it’s not the only work of his that I deeply enjoy and take inspiration from, Oyasumi Punpun. Just… Though its imagery,rather than written work where you have to imagine it all on your own, thingsare just told in such a beautiful manner – I feel I just have to capture those elements within my own writing.And I do really hope that I do itjustice, or that I can get at least even a fractionof a thousand closer to being as goodas him at telling stories and build characters that feel real. It’s a big reasonfor why I don’t try to (or subconsciouslydon’t) shy away from things thataren’t pretty regarding mycharacters. Let them have horrible, horriblethoughts – let them fail and do thingsthat are wrong. It makes them feel all the more real, or at least to me. Take inspiration from places that I havebeen, imagery that stuck out aboutthem and find the small things inlife to focus in on, that makes it all feel like a dream. Be they the way raindrops off a leaf that has fully come into its own, vibrant spring color – or the way rain sounds against wooden boardson a late summer evening.

That’s what Asano Inio has inspired me to do, and I am so grateful to have found his work.

SHIPPING INFO !! Answer the following for your muse so people know how shipping works on your blog.

WHAT IS YOUR OTP FOR YOUR CHARACTER?: I know 90% of people are expecting me to say Promptis but it’s not. For Prompto, it’s chemistry. If your character works well with him and we’re both cool on doing a ship, then I’m down for helping to make it be a thing. But the biggest thing is that I need to talk to whoever I’m shipping with freely. If I feel like I can’t talk to you OOC, then I won’t be comfortable with handing Prompto over to your character, OC or Canon. And no, this isn’t me confusing in and out of character, this is me being careful of who I deal with for ships - I’ve dealt with some seriously wild people on here before. 

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO WRITE WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?: Anything except massive amounts of fluff stalling. By that, I mean our characters being in one place for replies upon replies and if they haven’t moved in ten between us, I’m likely to just drop. By moving, I mean laying around in one place or room and snuggling / cuddling / nuzzling all that fucking shit. Like look man, I can’t take ‘cuddle contact’ myself for more than twenty minutes before I absolutely have to have the person get the fuck away from me, I get overstimulated. So it’s flat-out boring to me to just have this ‘talk, cuddle, kiss, be cutesy’ shit go on and not have a plot. Anything else? Go for it. I don’t give a shit. Make it exciting, thrilling, suspenseful. I’ll do the fucking same.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?: I generally don’t give much of a fuck about age gaps. My biggest concerns are summed up in two questions. Are they both of consenting age (18+)? Are they both interested in being in a relationship or have a one night stand? If the answer to both of those is a resounding yes, then who the fuck cares but the two people writing it. To be honest, it’s not my business what other people are writing as long as it’s not being forced on me.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?: Somewhat. I’m not going to just hand Prompto over to whoever comes up the road, so to speak. Sure, he does that in his blog canon but I’m not him. Basically, ooc, if I don’t like you, trust you, or have some kind of mun to mun contact with you - it’s not happening. Point blank. I’m tired guys.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY ARE CONSIDERED NS/FW?: Generally, I start tagging when the clothes come off or when it’s being talked about in a graphic manner.

WHO ARE OTHER THE CHARACTERS YOU SHIP YOUR CHARACTER WITH?: Out of FFXV, I wouldn’t mind trying Prompto with Daryl Dixon or any TWD character. Peter Parker (Andrew or whatever older edition there is). Lightning Farron. Orihime Inoue. Ichigo Kurosaki. There’s a whole ton of different ones I’d like him to meet, be friends with and all that. Wouldn’t have to be romantic.

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?: Not really. If your muse starts hitting on him in a thread, I’m likely to pick up on it pretty quickly but if you’re not certain, just go ahead and ask. I’m pretty straight forward about these things.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU LIKE TO SHIP?: I like it but I’d prefer to explore other things. Not that romantic shipping is losing it’s flavor for me, it’s not the end all be all. I want to try more things and branch out a little. There’s only so much you can do with a romantic ship before it starts getting stale because people want to put too much emphasis on the ‘perfect sweater boi fluffy cuddling time’ bullshit. I want something I’m sitting there refreshing my activity constantly to see if there’s been an update for.

ARE YOU SHIP OBSESSED OR SHIP MORE-OR-LESS?: Not really. I used to be though and it got boring so quickly. There was little development, movement, or even plots. It was just them going through life the whole time and I just hated it after a while. Show me the hardships, terrifying encounters with stalkers, something paranormal stalking them, the two of them working together to solve a mystery. 

ARE YOU MULTISHIP?: Yes. Each ship is different and no two people play their characters the same - that’s just the facts. Like yeah, I’ll have my favorites to ship with and it’ll likely be pretty obvious seeing as I’ll talk to them damn near constantly ooc. -shrugs- It’s not exclusive though so if you want some of Prompto, just come talk to me. I only request that I’m not forced into anything.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE SHIP IN YOUR CURRENT FANDOM?: Right now, Prompto and Nyx [ @heroicglaive ]. It’s amazing and I love it. Otherwise, I love Prompto and Noctis and Prompto and Gladio. Prompto and Ignis is the lowest of the bros since I don’t have much contact with Ignis rpers other than Ian [ @thexrightxhand ] and I love bothering Ian.

FINALLY, HOW DOES ONE SHIP WITH YOU?: -Well, for one, we have to be mutuals, there’s no way around that. -Come talk to me, second. If we have a plot going and you mention ‘hey I’d like to see how a ship might go’ then there’s a good chance that I’ll want to talk and ask a few questions first. Namely, I’m gonna be curious how your character is gonna treat Prompto so I can be prepared. Mostly so I can assess how much of his headcanons that you’ve actually read, considering his most important one is responsible for 90% of his canon divergence. - Really though, just talk or come at me at 3am and ‘hey, I saw this really neat looking concept and I think it’d be a really cool idea for a thread’ and slap a link at me. That works too.
