I offer Grand High Sovereign Ruju because he sure is the Ratmander™ of all time. Diagonally spinning rat energy... I am rotating him with the microwave turned on. I hope he explodes.

Ruju's largely inspired by that one asura personal story chapter about the infinity ball. Y'know... The one where the young Commander accidentally summons their 'future self,' who turns out to be a crazed conqueror with an army of suspiciously familiar steampunk robots. Next mix in a dash of his mentor Oola's ideology (something something 'golemancy and necromancy are destined to collide') with a joke about AFK minionmancer farm bots and the bad manners side of WvW, and there you go! He's the worst, actually.

The robotic army that Ruju sends in to do his dirty work wasn't originally his design; he was formerly a member of Scarlet's Alliance, and after realizing she was being manipulated by some form of corruption, killed her and took over. The new models mix his specialty in necromancy with Scarlet's original engineering, creating a horrific mix of biomechanical components that can pull themselves right back together no matter how battered they are. And with every foe they slay, he has even more fresh material to expand their forces...

His own body is in really, really rough shape. He suffers a form of rotting affliction that originated from Zhaitan, and while he's been able to slow the effects with his own necromantic magic, it wasn't enough to stop it entirely. Instead, Ruju's been gradually replacing the parts of himself that decay with mechanical components from his steam creature army, hence the similarities in appearance. At this point, he's arguably more made of metal than flesh and blood anymore. And while he doesn't speak often, when he does it has a highly synthesized quality much like asura-made golems.
