Pretty setter squad with a s/o who finally graduates High School

requested: I’m the one anon who commented on the daichi fic last night,,, I was right I stayed up way too late for someone with college orientation in the morning,,,, anyway, can I request literally any setter of your choosing with a s/o who’s a year younger than them and is finally graduating? like how they’d be just a super proud and happy boyfriend? thanks in advance, and I hope you have a good day!!!!

I couldn’t decide for one so I just did the entire setter squad :D I wrote this while on a train ride and had this finished in no time, it was so easy to write so enjoy!

Sugawara Koushi:

He’s literally more excited than you omg

You really have to tell him to chill and relax because that boy is shaking with excitement

When you get your diploma, he’s clapping and cheering so loud you blush so hard because a) he’s just so cute and adorable and b) you’re embarrassed

But afterwards he gives you the biggest hug ever and is so smiley and happy, constantly having an arm wrapped around your shoulders or waist, pulling you close to plant small kisses on your head and forehead and always mumbling something like “you did so well”, “I’m so proud of you” etc.

Really can not wait until you guys start a future together, his eyes are shining the whole day

Will dance with you the whole time, only lets your dad or siblings take over from time to time

Really you’re both just having the time of your life at your graduation/prom

Kageyama Tobio:

He may not show it on the outside, but he’s really nervous

His leg is shaking the whole time when he’s sitting in the crowd during the graduation ceremony

Can not wait to just hug you, pull you close and not let you go ever again

Because the past year has been really rough for both of you, his career and school constantly getting in the way of your plans to see each other

But now nothing could get in the way as you already made plans of moving in together and you chose a career where you’re really flexible with your time management so you can even visit him at a lot of games

So his head is just filled with all of these thoughts the whole day, his eyes shining proudly when you take your diploma

After the ceremony you just run up to him and he hugs you so tight that your feet lift off the ground and even though he’s not the biggest fan of PDA he’ll kiss you right then and there on the spot

For the rest of the day he feelsl a little awkward, not really knowing how to deal with all your friends coming up to him and asking questions, some even want to dance

He doesn’t really dance though, offers just one dance to you because he thinks its obligatory and he just wants a special moment with you

Kenma Kozume:

He’s paying attention to something other than his games for ONCE in his life

Honestly probably doesn’t feel that comfortable in the crowd of random people just sitting around, but he does it for you

He may look expressionless and unimpressed to other people, but when you get up on stage to take your diploma there’s a small smile on his face that you notice and you’re the only one he’s clapping for

Also he probably looks really cute in a suit, don’t @ me

Not one for PDA but after the ceremony he will engulfe you in the biggest hug he’s ever given, not caring about who’s around and if people are watching, he’s just glad he will have you to himself now

In the evening his patience leaves him and he’s just constantly at your side, asking when you guys will be going home. When you suggest that he can go without you and you’ll just return later, he protests and stays because he doesn’t want to leave you alone today

He doesn’t dance with you but watches you the whole evening, a small smile on his lips

When you get home eventually he will tell you how happy and proud he was of you as you guys cuddle and fall asleep

Secretely took pictures of you the whole day and they all look lovely af, he puts them as his desktop and phone background

Oikawa Tooru:

Omg the most formal man ever

Comes in his best suit looking good and fancy af, you almost have to laugh

He’s a little impatient, he just wants you to get your diploma and get out of there so you can spent the time with him

His eyes are just on you the whole time and you constantly feel his glance on you, always turning around to him and then you guys exchange air kisses how cute

He’s so glad you’re finally out of High School so you can spend more time together, he already has everything planned out

At prom he’ll show off to everyone, he has the fanciest dance moves and just swirls you around the whole time until you’re dizzy and all your friends want to dance with him lol

He just looks so god damn fine and he takes 1000 pictures with you, some normal and some really crazy ones

A great day with him

Akaashi Keiji:

Babyboy is so smiley and happy :(

He looks SO good with his suit and all

Has tons of tiny gifts for you, even before the day even starts

Probably records the whole ceremony and just the back of your head and he always whisper-shouts so you turn around and laugh, winking and waving at the camera which makes his heart melt

He’s so proud of you and will tell you exactly that countless times that day

He also makes sure you’re constantly by his side and OMG he is like the best dancer ever, it even surprises you

You take one of these typical prom pictures but it looks so good he even makes it his background on the phone

Holds your hand the whole day and he always smiles down on your intertwined fingers, thinking how from now on everything will be less complicated and you can spend basically every day together

He’s so charming, everyone loves him (even your teachers, whom he asks for dances in the evening lol)

Miya Atsumu:

He’s so chaotic, how did he himself even manage to graduate?

I’m guessing he was not always top of his class and only had volleyball as his future so his graduation was more of a necessity, but yours is a whole different thing

You’re so much better in school than him and he’s so proud, really can’t stop the big smile on his face

Also he probably looks really good, not wearing your typical formal suit but more of a relaxed version of it with just a jacket and a nice shirt but honestly that’s enough

Cheers inappropriately loud for you when you take your diploma lol and then shows you a thumbs up and you just blush and smile

Definitely dances with you, but not so many couple dances and rather dances along to some pop music or whatever they’re playing

Also judges the other girls and guys, quietly whispering into your ear how horrible he thinks their clothes are and you just laugh the whole time

But he’s so in love with you and lets you know the whole day, definitely has a big bouquet of flowers for you after you get your diploma and when you take the flowers he actually says some really cute words that make you tear up

A chaotic man, probably the one that smuggles alcohol into the drinks but he’s so smooth with it no one notices lol

* What Broadway is this? That ain’t the Broadway I remember

* Less than five minutes in and Corden’s performance is already awful (just my opinion!) was the effeminate accent really necessary? Like I feel like he was trying to emulate Brooks, but it comes off as really insensitive to me.

* Okay Meryl is...really good!

* I like that they incorporated the in-show musical!

* Choreo is insane as it should be

* I like the sardi’s cameo!

* Everybody just...walked out? Seems fake but okay

Commission work - Harry Hook x reader - part 1 - dogs are awesome

commissioned by @musicarose

It was driving you mad, being cooped up in your room, you let out a frustrated groan. You leaned back in your chair, staring at the artboard in front of you.

You needed a fresh start…you needed to go outside and just…draw whatever came to mind. You stood from your chair and grabbed your sketchbook, watercolor, water brushes, your kneaded eraser, and pencil and stuffed them in your bag.

Maybe you would go to the park next to the school, you whistled and duke came from around the corner, the blue Staffy wagging his tail like crazy.

“wanna go for a walk boy” you cheered in a high pitch, duke let out an excited bark, leaping up and pressing his paws to your thighs “yeah! Yeah!! Come on!”

Duke bounded alongside you as you grabbed his leash and headed out the door.

“it's yer turn to walk dude” harry mocked, lazily strutting alongside dude “blah blah bleh” Harry looked down at the mutt, who was now peeing.

Carlos had decided to make Harry walk dude after dude wouldn’t leave harry alone. When asked all he said was ‘dogs intuition’

So here he was….walking dude in the nearby park next to the school. And he was bored out of his mind.

All of a sudden dude bolted off, dragging Harry behind him “ey wha’ DUDE!” Harry yelped out, stumbling over his feet.

“slow down!”

“duke slow down!” all of a sudden someone slammed into Harry's chest, and he felt dude and another dog wrap their leashes around their legs.

The person started to fall backward and Harry's arms automatically reached out, wrapping around the small fo their back and tugging them into his chest.

“Are yeh okay?” the girl lifted their cap, and Harry's heart skipped a beat.

Sparkling (e/c) eyes stared up at him, pouty lips opened slightly “why yes, im-im fine, just a little shaken, what about you?”

Harry couldn’t speak, he just stared at them, dude and the other larger dog stared up at them, wagging their tails and smiling.

They looked to each other ‘nailed it’

You looked away, forcing down the strong blush and searched for Duke, he just sat there with that goofy grin of his.

“duke” you ordered softly “unwind please” the large dog gave a soft ‘boof’ and walked around you and the tall handsome boy, slowly undoing the leash around their legs.

“thank you” you muttered, scratching the side of his head, you looked back up at the boy, almost looking away again when you saw his bright ocean blue eyes. “s-sorry bout him, he gets a little crazy when he sees another dog” you stuttered, the boy finally seemed to snap out of whatever stupor he was in.

“no-no it's okay, dude went crazy too” he pointed at dude, you smiled, kneeling down and holding out your hand.

“Hey dude”

“Hey (y/n)!” he trotted over to you and gave you paw “sorry bout that, doggie instincts ya know” you giggled, making Harry's heart speed up.

‘what is happening to me’ he thought, placing his hand on his heart, which was going 1000 miles a minute.

“yeh know dude?” Harry asked, taking a small step back as you stood up and gave a blinding smile.

“yep, im the one who initially trained him” Harry nodded, jumping a little as duke pressed his head against his thigh.

“Well hello,” Harry muttered, giving duke a good scratch between his ear and duke melted into Harry's side, his leg starting to go.

You giggled “he must like you, hes not very trusting of other people when he first meets them” harry chuckled, and smiled down at duke, and you inhaled quickly. “well im a lucky one then…” he looked up, holding out his hand. “i’m Harry, by the way, harry hook”

You smiled and took his hand “i’m (y/n), (y/n) Radcliffe” harry tilted his head

“as in roger and Anita Radcliffe?” you beamed and nodded

“the same! They're my parents” Harry chuckled, and bit his lip you were adorable.

“well anyway” harry released your hand, mentally frowning as he realized he missed it “I should probably finish dudes walk and get ‘im back to Carlos”

You nodded, leaning down and grabbing dukes leash, “well it was nice meeting you harry, maybe I’ll see you around?” you hoped you would.

Harry nodded rapidly “aye, definitely” you nodded and walked off, holding dukes leash close to your chest, keeping the bursting giggles in your chest.

“wait!” you spun around, feeling a blush rise to your cheeks as harry ran up to you. “do-do yeh maybe wanna meet up on Friday? At the café?”

You beamed and nodded “yes! Should we trade numbers?” harry bopped his forehead with his palm and gave a shy smile.

“that would probably be a good idea huh?”

Five minutes later, as you sat down on the bench next to the koi pond, your phone went off, you picked it up and smiled.

-hey, so this Friday at 4? At tiaras café?

You squealed and kicked your legs a bit, duke barking and leaping up to look at your screen

-sounds good! See ya!

-see ya! :)

You bit your lip and looked up to the sky holding the phone close to your chest.

“duke, I think i’m in love”

“ugg why did I send a smiley face! She's gonna think im-“ his phone went off and he scrambled to look at his screen.

(y/n) had texted back

Harry let out a giggle, falling back on his bed, holding his phone close to his chest.

“I think I’m in love”

Dude chuckled and lay back down, ignoring Carlos’ questions

ok so for the match up thing!! name is loren, im 20, a 5'2 tiny goth kiddo who looks always grumpy and has a dark sense of humor i guess. i study philosophy and i write for a theatre company because i don't have the guts to act!! im,,, a shy mess. never dated before although i had some casual sex but really it felt so empty that i choice not to have it anymore unless im in love honestly. i own a typewriter! and im always dancing in my room because it feels good and it helps me when im manic!

also I have BPD and I cling too much to people, like really depending by em if they’re my fave at the moment and im very jealous and have anger issues but I try my best to be nice or polite at least!! i love cats, snakes and ravens. i love cozy days when you do nothing at all except for laying under a blanket and watch the rain or little things like this! i like to cook and being Italian, i can cook very well. i have glasses but i hate how I do look with em so I don’t ever wear em.

i love arthur fleck so fucking much i literally would die for him because he needs to be spoiled and cuddled and just thinking about him makes me cry so loud- but i love the joker as well, of course, being the smug bastard he is!! and daydreaming about him helps me going through the day which it’s not always so easy because sometimes it’s just too much, you know

ohhhh I forgot I wear a shit load of make up like literally I look like Robert Smith most of the time and I don’t give a fuck about people opinions ai literally go to lessons dressed like a gothic doll most of the time

Arthur Fleck (I know he’s angry in this GIF but fuck he’s hot)

We don’t know Arthur’s real age, but Joaquin (the gorgeous man that he is) is 44, so let’s assume the same for Arthur for a touch of realism, shall we? That being said, this means that Arthur would be so hesitant to even talk to you because of your age. You see him staring, though, you see him following you sometimes wearing that thin yellow hoodie he seems to love, and so you decide to approach him. He’s instantly smitten.

You have a dark sense of humour and so does Arthur, so this is perfect for his ego. His comedy is a sore spot, it always has been, because no one supports this precious boi in anything he does and it’s really fucking sad. When he cracks a really dry, deadpan and dark joke and you burst out laughing, love just blooms in his chest and he falls in love with you a little more. How are you real? He’s convinced you’re a delusion he’s concocted sometimes, but he dares not question it. Anything is better than the truth. Anything.

You study philosophy, so your intellect is definitely above Arthur’s. His handwriting is really bad (in the cutest way? Imagine handwritten letters from him that are filled with smiley faces and words scribbled out like 1000000 times because he can’t spell it right until he gives up and uses a word he does know how to spell) and because of how impoverished he is, that suggests that he’s uneducated. As such, when you write an essay or an assignment or you complete some other work, he’d want to read it but he wouldn’t really understand some of the more technical stuff. He’s not at all stupid, he’s very clever, and I think sometimes he’d ask you a question late at night about the thing you’re studying just so he can go to sleep to the sound of your voice. With his weary head cushioned on your chest, your heartbeat in his ear, your voice and your hands in his hair, he’d be asleep in no time.

I feel like Arthur would really love the fact that you’re shy because that means it’s easier for him to assume the protective role? So, like, he’d find your shyness frankly adorable and if you ever got shy over him then it just becomes a circle of shyness before Arthur bursts out into uncontrollable laughter and you have to comfort him through a fit. Just squeeze his hand, patiently wait it out, and reap the rewards when he can breathe again and his lips are on yours as a thank you.

You love to dance and this… Oh, this is a quintessential part of your whole relationship. When it’s late at night and Arthur is listening to music on the radio, he’d approach you, his body already swaying to the beat, and his hands would find your hips and he’d dance with you, doing that really fucking attractive shoulder thing he does. It ends up with the two of you in the bedroom doing a different kind of dance, if you get my meaning ;) Arthur understands how simple things can help you when you’re feeling a certain way, so when you’re feeling manic it’s almost 1000% guaranteed that he’ll just start dancing with you until you’re so tired you don’t want to do anything anymore.

You have BPD and you cling to people, which would actually really reassure our boi. He would need near constant reassurance that you’re real, that you love him, that he’s not hallucinating your entire fucking existence, that you’re not going to leave etc, etc. In return for all the coddling you (gladly) give him, he would do anything for you. And I mean anything ;) he would let you cling to him in any meaning - physically, mentally, emotionally. Anything. “You’re my Loren, it’s my job to take care of you.” and he’d do it so well you’d be ruined for anyone else in your life. Ever. He’s a jealous boi and though he’d take you at your word, if someone wasn’t getting the memo he’d have to step in.

You both adore and live for cozy days inside his apartment. He has a special blanket that he likes to curl up under with you. It smells like the two of you and when either of you are missing the other because of work, studying or whatever else, then you huddle under it until the other returns. You can cook well, which is perfect because the best Arthur can do is really cheap microwave meals. He’s worryingly thin, not only because of the seven medicines he’s on but also because he just can’t afford to eat. It’d be really hard for him to even put any weight on, but at least you keep him regularly fed.

When you told Arthur that you would actually die for him and that you love him so much it just makes you cry sometimes, he’d be astounded. He’d just sit there, blinking for a few tense seconds before his throat rips with loud, intrusive laughter which is so hard and so uncontrollable that he can taste blood in the back of his throat. You’d hold him, love him, support him and cherish him and that right there means that he’s never going to leave you. Not ever. Sex with him reflects this. He’s so gentle, so tender and so loving that it makes your heart bleed. It’s not uncommon for one or both of you to actually cry during sex because you’re just so, so in love with each other that it hurts in the sweetest, most precious way.

You know who you are and you know what you want and you don’t give a fuck what people think about you. You wear what you want when you want and that’s such a fucking mood and Arthur would be so proud of you and he’d totally offer to do your makeup for you using his own work supplies! He’d be so careful and he’d giggle against the way your nose wrinkles when he’s a bit too careful with his brush and he’d want to kiss you again and again, ruining your makeup purposefully so he can stay closer to you for just a little longer and…. oh, I’m actually gonna cry writing this wow… (spoiler: I did.)

In the grand conclusion because wow I’ve rambled: you and Arthur have the sweetest, most precious relationship. It’s full of love. There are definite challenges, there are some arguments because things just get too much for the both of you sometimes and sometimes there’s more taking than giving on either side because that’s how it can be, but you never leave each other. Never, never, never.

Joker (fun fact when this part showed in the cinema I was with my mum and i legit went “Oh, fuck me” as in I properly moaned AND SHE HEARD ME. two weeks later and she still hasn’t said anything but I know she heard me)

Whereas Arthur struggled to even think of talking to you because of the huge age gap, Joker really isn’t all that bothered. You’re a fully consenting adult who knows her own mind, so what’s the harm, right? So long as you’re both happy and comfortable with each other, he couldn’t care less. That being said, you’re 5′2 and Joker is 5′8 so there’d be some height teasing going on. He would put things up on a higher shelf in the kitchen just so he can come up behind you and ‘accidentally’ (on purpose) press his crotch up and into your bottom as he retrieves the item you’re after with a cocky grin on his face and fire in his eyes. Sexual teasing is a very normal part of your relationship and it’s a serious warning sign that he is not okay if he doesn’t do anything like that towards you all day.

You have a dark sense of humour and you look grumpy a lot of the time, which means that, often, Joker will practically bounce up to you and use his index fingers to make you smile. It wouldn’t take long for you to actually smile from his actions, though, and that’s exactly why he does everything that he does; because he knows you can’t resist him, the smug bastard. Oh, but you love him, and he know the depth of your love for him. He’s so very honoured by it, though his way of showing it is sometimes to murder someone who irritated you last Thursday and not ever telling you about it. He’s a strange one, but he’s so free that you find yourself not minding. Just so long as he’s happy; when Joker is down, it means that something is hugely wrong and it reminds you so badly of Arthur that it hurts and you might have to crack out some of his own jokes just to cheer him up. For example, if you handed him an actual human heart and said, “I love you, Joker”, he’d burst out into loud and genuine laughter and would end up smudging his makeup from kissing you so soundly. Isn’t he gorgeous?

Joker isn’t political, religious, or anything of the sort. He tells you and others that he doesn’t believe in anything. But there’s one thing he believes in. Just one. It’s the love you have for each other that he vehemently believes in. if anyone even dared to suggest that your love isn’t as strong as you say - she’s just scared of being killed, that’s why she’s with him, or what a freak! How can she stand to kiss him? - then he’d go fucking apeshit. The last person he overheard doubting your love for him ended up swallowing several bullets in quick succession. Overkill? Perhaps, but he doesn’t care. No one gets to doubt your love for each other, not even yourselves. He’d be very supportive of your studies and I have no doubt that, if you ever got a shaky grade, it’d be changed very quickly by a shaking tutor who can’t quite look you in the eye. The smiley face on the whiteboard which looks like a child did it clues you in hugely, though. His actions are wrong but it comes from a very heavily guarded heart of gold.

Where Arthur finds your shyness cute and he would immediately adopt Protective Mode™, Joker would just relentlessly tease you just to see how deep your blush goes. “That’s an interesting shade of red, Loren. Where have I seen it before? Ah, yes…” *Twirls and fingers the hem of his red tuxedo* Be warned, though… Only Joker gets to tease you about being shy. If anyone else dared to tease you for being shy or for stuttering or for tripping over your words and oh god shut up, he’d rip them a new one. Only he gets to tease you. He does, sometimes, wind you up on purpose, just to see how far he can push you before you snap and want to punch something. He finds it incredibly amusing. Deep down, though, he’d be just as protective as Arthur and would find himself doing things for you that you’re too shy to do; in whatever means you need! ;)

You dance because it helps you when you’re manic but also because you enjoy it. Just like with Arthur, this is absolutely essential in your relationship with Joker. A lot of the time when you’re dancing, he’d step in flawlessly and you’d start dancing together like Fred and Ginger, with him dipping you, spinning you around, lifting you up with surprising strength, and it’s one of his favourite ways (other than makeup sex) to apologise to you. “Dance with me.” Immediately would his hands grab you, spinning you, his intense green eyes never leaving yours, that damned smirk on his lips as he sees that blush rising on your face… Again, like with Arthur, you do several modes of dancing together; some are more preferable to others!

When you’re out and about together in public, you’re basically glued together. Your hands are held so tightly by the other that you’re not sure whose hands is whose and, are your fingers getting a bit numb? Both of you have jealousy and anger issues for slightly different reasons; Joker because it’s borne from a place of deeply set abuse and abandonment issues, and you have your own reasons that he may or may not know about. He finds it baffling that you get jealous over him, though. So many of Arthur’s neuroses still live on in Joker, despite his bravado. You try to be polite, but Joker makes no such efforts; he will destroy someone for even glancing at you in the street.

You both live for cosy days. These are the days during which Joker will relax his persona. He will cuddle with you, watching shows on TV, his fingers grazing along the underside of your breasts or even dipping under your underwear. You can arch your hips into his touch all you want, he’s not gonna give you what you want unless you’re patient. He loves foreplay more than the act itself; to him, anticipation heightens everything deliciously. You cook very well, and Joker would love to watch you cook. He enjoys the heat you summon into the bedroom, and he loves bending you over the counter, sweeping the dirty plates into the sink with a noisy crash (and you have to buy new plates at least once a week), and fucking you until you’re only upright because of his arm wound tightly around your waist.

You once told Joker that you often think of him when you’re not with him, just because he offers you comfort and support from wherever he is. Just knowing he’s somewhere in Gotham wreaking havoc or even waiting for you to get home makes you feel like you can conquer the fucking world, and he was flattered. He did get a little upset, though, when you confessed that you would actually die for him if you had to. He kills for you, and sometimes because of you without a thought, but turning that idea around onto you makes him feel hot in all the wrong ways. I actually think Joker would crawl into your arms that night, needing to feel that you were there, and real, and even now he’s wondering how you could possibly love him knowing all that he has done and will continue to do. He would make you promise to never keep your word on this topic, because no one is gonna be dying in this relationship. You and him are forever a ride or die. For better or for worse.

You stand together at the bathroom sink putting your faces on. Your shoulders are touching, which means sometimes your elbows bump into each other and one of you makes a mistake with the makeup. “Oh, would you look at that? My makeup’s ruined,” Joker would hum, “what are you going to do about it, darling?” There’s only one answer to this, and it’s the two of you kissing each other so passionately that you have to wash your faces off and start again. Who knows, maybe you don’t get to leave the bathroom that day. Makeup is one of the biggest expenditures in your small household, even with Joker knowing where to go to get the good stuff.

In conclusion: dating Joker would be so very different to dating Arthur, but there is love, compassion, trust, adoration, so much sex you’re surprised you can still walk most mornings (he can and will go multiple rounds with you in a day; he’s a horny fucker, is our Joker), and there are definitely more emotional challenges than there are any other, but you’ve learned to stick it out with him over the years, You’d never leave him for any reason, even if he murdered everyone in Gotham (and a lot of the time he’s sorely tempted to burn the city to the ground and start all over again).

Animal Crossing Au! that i’m starting

After a while of playing Animal Crossing, i watched a video with the premise of “what if i went back to my original animal crossing world and time still passed while i was gone? And i was like, “that’s sounds interesting” and looked for Animal Crossing fics where they were in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. Seeing that there aren't any, I decided to write one.

So let’s set the stage…

Like in the game, My Time at Portia, this will take place in a country that is owned by wealthy landowners who basically mooch off of the lords of the villages who take care of their villagers. We will name the country, Nookling Junction, owned by the Nook family. Along with this country, they have a company, Nook and Cranny, which enforces villages to pay their mortgages and keep their villagers morale high.

The Cranny family, a bunch of bounty hunters, who keep zombies from reaching villages. You have the option of paying for their services but it costs a lot so it’s kinda just best to convert one after building your defenses.

Leveling

You are settling down in a new settlement inwards of the Junction, a village that you have to name. Based on natural generation and level setting, you can get the following siblings:

Level Zero: (Leisure): Cole and Dottie- this is for the people who just like to go around and collect things, mostly a build-you-town in a dystopian setting mode where you don’t have to worry about zombies

Level One (Easy): Fauna and Erik- everything is built, you just need to fix everything, tend to your villagers, and pay off your debt

Level Two (Default): Isabelle and Digby- you need to build defense, zombies attack at night time, tend to your villagers, and pay off your debt

Level Three (Hard): Tauro and Vivian- random zombie attacks throughout the day, harder to find resources, needs to build defenses and houses, and pay off your debt

Level Four (Expert): Isadore and Mckenzie- start off with nothing but a lot and angry villagers, zombies attacks at random, need to build the whole town, villagers won’t socialize until they feels safe and are more prone to leave, and pay off your debt

Your place in the story…

When you enter the village, these two will be your helpers and guides as well as the only other villagers who know how to combat.

You will be given 8 different villagers, randomly selected in which you can direct to do any kind of job that you want them to do. However this will affect their morale and social standings. As time goes on you can build to have up to 20 villagers, however if certain needs are not met villagers will leave, the lowest number you can have is 2.

The mechanics of the game:

Currency

You will still have Bells as a currency, every month you must gather 3000 bells in order to pay Meow and Bow (who have a redesign that isn’t hideous) who now work as collectors for Tom Nook. If you don’t you will come to find structures broken and things missing in your village in the middle of the night, with a note from Timmy and Tommy saying to “pay up next time”. Each time you do not pay the rent, the more severe it gets.

You can get bells from talking to your villagers, completing tasks, trading with other villagers, village commissions, and by going outside and hunting zombies and other monsters. You can also gain items with the daily gift box that you can shoot from the sky or dig up from the ground.

Morale

Along with Bells, you now get Treats. Treats help raise morale and will be given when achievements are met (like in Minecraft… sorta). You can give treats to villagers when morale gets really low.

Hearts will be the scale of showing your bond with villagers. I think there should be 10 of them. This urges you to interact with villagers, making sure they go up. If you don’t they will go down. Along with Hearts they will have a scale from Angry face to Smiley face (with their being Pouty face, frowny face, blank face, grin face in between) showing their morale. Also, you can have a Heart face which allows you to romance villagers, if you choose. If your villager has anything less than a grin face, their work methods will be altered. Frowny faces result in them not working at all.

You can ask either of your representatives about the morale in your village and ask them to help you defend and raise morale in your village.

Defense

You can now build traps for zombie attacks and upgrade your walls. Zombie attacks are more fierce during night time and less likely to happen during the day. Keep in mind where traps are because they can damage your villagers and you if set off. This will result in your villager getting a frowny or angry face, refusing to work and interact with you for a couple of days.

You can also hire someone from the Cranny Monster Hunter Services, however this will cost you bells. The hunter will be random everytime you pay for the service, the most one can stay is 10 days for 1000 bells. In this time you can interact with them in hopes of converting them into a villager and keeping them in the village.

You can upgrade weapons and suit up your villagers just in case.

Infection and Death

Yes, you read right. Villagers can die! If a villager gets infected by a zombie, they have 3 days to be cured before they die! This interaction is non-negotiable and spawns a headstone that you place and a special character who digs the grave of your villager where the headstone lays. This is an incentive to take care of your city.

You villagers can also starve to death if there is no food. Several days without food is insta-death. Also Angry face for 7 days causes your villager to leave, which may end up with them dying.

The cure for an infection is hard to get but once you get it, luckily it can be farmed in your village.

Interaction

Each character will have generic text options, as well as backstories, ambitions, and even potential relationship options. You can give your villagers gifts and receive gifts from them, invite them on dates, and enjoy events with them. Sometimes you’ll get notifications about villagers being in relationships or getting into fights.

Sometimes you will get letters, notes, or requests from the villagers that can increase your social standing with them. You can visit their houses once invited in after gathering 3 hearts with the owner. Other times they might suggest things for the village to raise morale.

Factions

There are different factions you can join to raise social standing and give you better chances of getting the villagers that you want. By schmoozing certain villagers, you can strengthen the bond between you and the factions.

Commerce Traders Refugees Hunters Settlers (town) Etc.

Other villages

You will have 4 other villages (Wildbell, Belldenn, Mythport, Ringsten, and Traderun) around you that you can visit and trade with, each one including their own mayor. You can also visit a refugee camp, where you can recruit villagers when you have a vacant house ready for them.

Villagers

After thinking about it Villagers will be assigned a RANK and a TYPE. Like the original animal crossing villagers, they have TYPES such as CRANKY and SISTERLY. However there are only 8 of those traits… I’m making 12. Each trait is now gender neutral for more options.

Types:

Rude (Grumpy)- are more likely to insult you when scared, complain when something isn't working or up to their standards, get into fights with others Familial (Sisterly)- are more willing to help you when assigned a task, asks about your health, visit your house to talk, and forgive you after falling into a trap Snooty- are more than likely not going to help you, tend to belittle your significance, take things without asking Humble- are more likely to do honest work when assigned task, avoid rude villagers, help out when asked Preppy- are more likely to throw parties to raise morale, cheer people up, befriend newcomers, be excited about new developments Jock- are more likely to fight zombies, play games to raise morale, Smug (HardHeaded)- tend to get themselves in trouble, refuse help, make rash decisions Lazy- most likely to refuses to do work, Normal - are most likely level headed and be able to be reasoned with Crazy- most likely to cause fires and explosions, laugh maniacally, antagonize others for amusement Loners- most likely likes being left alone, get uncomfortable in crowds, appreciate quality time Timid- most likely are afraid of zombies, voice their fear, scream and run away

As for ranks, villagers can now have jobs that they are inclined to. There are only 8 of these.

I got most of my inspirations from Minecraft because i love that game. So i thought it would be great if the game would have multiple minecraft mechanics but also contain the charm of Animal Crossing.

It had been a trap. Well, it had to be.

Warning: Post!Canon, set during the few years in between the timeskip.

It had been a trap.

“I –I like you Kurosaki-kun.”

Well, it had to be.

She reminded him of Spring.

Classes had finished at half four. The long, dulling ride from the centre of Tokyo had always bothered Ichigo. Moreso today where he felt a weight descend upon his shoulders.

It had only been a few months. Well, four. After the April graduation it seemed they had all dispersed. Tatsuki to some sports university in Kobe, Sado had spirited of to the states, Uryu had silently applied for an exchange programme in Europe while Keigo seemed to tag along with him at all times.

He hadn’t seen Orihime since that day.

There were a few texts. Some smileys, snaps of an unfamiliar campus and cute bento boxes.

Yet all the gestures felt empty.

The lump in his throat was back again, the one that came before the flood of regret. The memory would linger again for several minutes. He looked absolutely stupid gawping at her while clutching his diploma. Everyone had made their way back to the courtyard where all families and well wishers had gathered, his father making a fool of himself while his sisters (well, mainly Yuzu) wept in pride in the background.

It must have taken a great amount of bravery when she managed to find him alone. To find that spot near the benches. And during those moments when her words spilled out like a soft stream.

“I-I like you Kurosaki-kun.”

And all he could do was respond with stunned silence.

“It’s always a late entrance with you isn’t it?”

Ichigo removed the rucksack from his shoulder “Great to see you too Tatsuki.”

He scanned his eyes around the room. It had been a better turn out than he thought. He typically hated trendy rooftops, and today had been no different. It was barely ten past five and the slick restaurant was already slammed full of people. Ichigo cursed as he made his way through to the reserved area. At any other time he would have refused. When Tatsuki sent her line message a few weeks back he wasn’t too sure if anyone would respond. But he hadn’t had worried. Sado was sandwiched between Keigo and Mizuiro, Tatsuki had situated herself in the middle of the horseshoe like table while a space had been left for him right at the front.

It took only a moment for him to see Orihime sitting with Uryu. As she raised her head, Ichigo felt his cheeks burn.

“Hello Kurosaki-kun.”

Her voice seemed strained.

“Let me walk you home.”

The day was dimming as they stepped out to the empty pavements of the high street. Keigo had nearly caused a scene by ordering sake despite repeated warnings from the hostesses. While their friends had broken into sporadic discussions, Ichigo took another look at Orihime.

Her hair was longer, and there were hints of dark circles under her eyes. He wondered how much she studied based on the conversations between herself and Uryu, the friendliness of her classmates due to the teasing from Keigo and the attention of certain male upperclassman due to the flushed embarrassment she displayed when Sado brought up illicit texts Ichigo had no knowledge of.

Orihime had barely looked at him from her greetings that late afternoon. In fact, each time he had tried to glance over to her, she seemed completely absorbed in another conversation.

Ichigo knew he had no right to be mad. He deserved it. Although he had spent several nights thinking about the confession that spring morning, he had done nothing to resolve it. Several messages remained drafted in his inbox, letters crumbled and turned away. At odd moments he would remember the look on her face as he stared blankly at her, the tears in her eyes as she suddenly dismissed her declaration, forcing a smile before insisting they meet back with friends.

It has to be too late. That’s how it worked. Nothing could come from dragging up something so fraught from the past.

And yet….

Orihime felt a hand press gently on her shoulder. She glanced up in confusion.

“Kurosaki-kun?”

“Let me walk you home.”

It was several moments before she spoke.

“I am sorry.”

The moon hung over the skyline and the evening chill descended unto Karakura town. The clouds seemed heavy and grey as Ichigo cursed over his forgotten umbrella.

He took a glance at his companion. “What for?

Orihime clutched her scarf before biting her lip, a wave of worry washed over her face before calming, before the worry came again.

“I embarrassed you,” she said weakly

Ichigo looked back, startled.

“What are you talking about? You’ve never embarrassed me.”

Orihime bit her lip again, glancing up at the moon as it hid behind the clouds.

“That day I did.”

For a few moments, everything became a blur. Ichigo felt as though something had scrapped against his flesh, watching as Orihime’s eyes dampened again.

“W-we don’t have to talk about it again.” she asked “Can we just go back like before Kurosaki-kun??”

Ichigo hated the way her voice sounded then. The way that he continued to day nothing, remembering the gormlessness of his face as they trotted back to their friends afterwards, Orihime straining herself to cheer as he felt himself in the midst of a spiral of despair.

He had hated those moments. The strained goodbye afterwards, the pointed glances from their friends and yet the silence that engulfed every conversation.

And yet he had felt everything that spring. The waves of sickness and elation, sweetness and dread. But when the pause came for a reactions Ichigo couldn’t find the words. No, it was much worse than that, he could and yet attempting to say them had rendered him paralysed.

So at that moment, as he felt himself slip back into the darkness, he remembered her face and solidified the resolve.

“No.”

Orihime blinked. “N-no?”

Ichigo steadied himself, taking in a deep breath, fighting away the jolts that seemed to prick his skin.

“I don’t want to do that. I can’t….I can’t do that.”

He felt his cheeks getting warmer, right to the outline of his ears.

“Kurosaki-kun…”

“I’m really bad at this,” he admitted “Really, really bad at this….”

Feeling the fear within his stomach uncoil, Ichigo reached out for her hand, knowing how red they both most have looked.

“But…you don’t have to be sorry.”

Orihime felt Ichigo’s thumb stroke against her fingers and nearly fainted.

“I-I think I’ve felt the same for a while.”

And soon felt her heart burst into colours.

He couldn’t kiss her for another several months.
