ohhh i know people tend to brush her aside bc it's pretty overplayed but it's good. it's a great song even. i love the 70-esque vibe it brings (t.rex hi), tho i wish it leaned a bit more into its bluesy influence a little more. umm you could also probably line dance to it which is a good marker for me, personally.

but tonally (thematically?) it doesn't make a lot of sense in the record:( and i stand by what i said, i don't believe any song on tbp is a filler (and mayyybe you could say that they needed a 2nd (3rd?) single), but i think there's more layers to the song rather than just simply being a commentary on violence in adolescence, especially bc of the perspective it comes from, sure, it's an adult looking in but it's also an adult in a rock-band. < i do think the music video does a lot more to explore that dynamic in particular with the nod to pink floyd, which is i think the only direct (visual at least) link between tbp and the wall ? and the single cover art is a great moment in mcr graphic history imo

also any song with a vibraslap moment is kind of a winner

josh exclusively calls you munch when you begin dating. it probably starts as a silly little pet name but when he sees the way it makes you giggle and everyone else giggle you exclusively become munch. like he comes into the living room he says says “whatre you watching munch?” it’s so second nature to him he doesn’t think about it. “I want some coffee. Im feeling more tired then usual.” wednesday said in her usual monotone voice.

wednesday nodded and started to head out the door, and Y/N followed. not long after they began walking, Y/Ns thoughts wondered to why thing had given wednesday that thumbs up.

They thought some more and had the realiztion, they should quit being so scared and they had to ask wednesday out. It was the perfect idea! How could she say no? well theres many ways… but Y/N shook their head. Y/N got their coffee and walked to the booth where wednesday sat at. They handed her her coffee and sat down across from her. Y/N breathed in and out slowly.

“So wednesday, uhm… WOULDYOUPOSSIBLYLIKETOGOTOTHERAVE’NWITHME!?” Y/N spat out. But then, wednesday chuckled. What? Why was she laughing? was she making fun of you?

They quickly leaned over the table, and gave wednesday a soft peck on the lips. Wednesdays eyes widened, and you could see her blush like she did earlier. They stared into each other's eyes, the pale moonlight dancing between them. Soda was pushed up against a small mountain of soda tabs, and Emizel saw them reflecting in his eyes. “Hey man, wouldn't it be funny if like,-” Emizel reached out and shoved Soda's face into his. It made a sound like an aluminium can crumpling. They sat there for a moment, glistening under the moonlight, before pulling away. Soda gazed at Emizels battered form, before saying “Wow man that was awesome! By the way I think you broke my nose.” They laughed, before realising something. 

Emizel looked at Soda, and it wasn't just the extreme blood loss making him pale. “Dude, does kissing make people pregnant?” Soda stared back in shock.

“Holy fuck man! What are we gonna do? We have to go get a test now!” The duo ran shirtless into their car, racing for the closest seven eleven. 

The electric bell chimed above them as they entered. An old woman with greying hair stood behind the counter, with a mossberg in her hand. “Whatre yall comin in for this late? It's nearly 1!”  Soda and Emizel looked at eachother, and then her. Their ragged faces were covered in blood, and their pants were in tatters. Emizel had a crazed look ,and Soda beside him was covered in dark black coke stains and had a broken nose, blood leaking down his face. “Well nevermind then you boys take whatever you like” The old woman sat down in a small foldable chair, and set the mossberg on the counter.

Emizel stared at the test results.  He'd been thinking of it for some time, but he'd hoped it hadn't been true. But it was. The test he held in his hand marked positive, and so did the other 2 sitting in the garbage. He was carrying his and Sodas child. Staring in the mirror, his face was devoid of any colour, and his eyes were bloodshot. He could only laugh at the end of it all. END STORY
