I don't think andrew would kill neil though like he loves him so much he loves neil more than he loves kevin.
I disagree personally! Not at that point in the books, anyway.
Andrew trusted Neil to take care of Kevin. Andrew’s deal with Kevin is to keep him safe from Riko. If Kevin ends up going to the nest, regardless of what happens to him there, that’s the ONE thing Andrew had to do. Don’t let Riko near him. Protect him from Riko.
He started trusting Neil after he protected Kevin from Riko at Kathy’s show and there was nothing Andrew could do - everything is for and about Kevin for him.
Then Andrew comes back from Easthaven and Kevin is dead, gone or injured because Neil didn’t hold up his end of the deal to keep him safe? Neil goes to the nest: he said he’d keep him safe, not stay by his side all the time etcetcetc. Whatever. Kevin goes to the nest: not good.
We already know (at least as far as I remember anyway) Andrew would’ve never forgiven Neil after Baltimore if he hadn’t gotten him to break his promise to keep Neil safe. Kevin going to the nest causes Neil to break his promise to Andrew, in turn causing Andrew to break the one promise that’s keeping him there. Andrew’s “purpose” is Kevin. And then he comes back, suddenly unmedicated (which was the whole basis behind their deal anyway) and Kevin is hurt?
We saw how important the deals and promises were to him. So yeah, I do think that Andrew would hate Neil if he was the reason why he broke his promise to Kevin. If Kevin died, or he was never able to play again, I fully believe that Andrew would have to kill Neil, or make him leave. He has no real ties to him beyond the “side effect of the drugs” crush he has on him at this point. That being said he obviously did say he would protect Neil, but I think this would be a scenario where him pulling out of the deal would be justified.

Being A Singer Who Is Part Of The Marvel Cast
Pairing: Marvel Cast x reader
Prompt: What it’s like to be a singer who is also a Marvel actress.
Warnings: none! This isn’t really a teen!reader, but it can be!
Side note: I’m using Ari’s music, so just pretend you’re Ari or something😂😂 Should I write imagines about this?
Tumblr media
(Ya’ll already know I had to use my bby Ari😌)
(Gif from Pinterest)
Being a singer and joining the MCU was actually quite nerve wracking.
You weren’t sure if anyone would take you seriously and that everyone would just see you as some singer who got casted into the movie because you were well known.
In fact, Kevin Feige casted you because you represented the character you were auditioning for so well.
You remember your first day on set and how nervous you were to be surrounded by so many talented actors. You kept to yourself and sat by the sidelines while everyone reunited with each other.
I feel like Mark or Robert might come up to you first. They would probably approach you and be all like, “Hey! My kids listen to your music and I have to listen to your voice 24/7! It’s nice to finally meet you!”
Anthony would probably join in and be like, “Aye, I know you from the radio. You sing that one song that’s goes like, ‘I want it, I got it’. Right?”
After some introductions and filming scenes together, you’d feel comfortable with your new friends. Especially after some of them fangirled over you.
Tom (Holland) most definitely fangirled over you, I just feel it😂😂
A few years later they would become your most supportive and dedicated fans (and family).
They’re probably even more dedicated than your fans.
Whenever you drop a new single or a music video, expect them all to share it on every social media account they have.
Tom Hiddleston, who’s barely on social media, would come on just to promote your stuff.
@/ChrisEvans: Hey everyone! Just came to say that @yourtwitterhandle just dropped a new music video and you should all see it! You won’t regret it! Amazing as always @yourtwitterhandle 💙💙💙
@/RobertDowneyJr: The talented and oh so beautiful @yourtwitterhandle just released a music video for her new single! Go ahead and see for yourself to experience the greatness of (y/n)! I’m proud of you sweetheart!❤️
They would even share it on their Instagram stories and post about it because they’re so proud of you🥺
Sebastian and Tom (Holland) would probably post videos of them jamming to your song and yelling at people to listen to it.
Video: Sebastian with 34+35 blasting in the background, “GO LISTEN TO (Y/N)’S NEW ALBUM POSITIONS! DO IT! NOW!”
If you release an album while working on a Marvel movie, they would have little release parties with the whole cast and crew of the movie.
They will have a countdown on some projector and once it hits one everyone would scream and hug you. Then you guys would listen to the whole album with no stops.
When they see you writing in your journal during breaks on set, they would ask if you’re writing new songs.
Sometimes they would even help you brainstorm for lyrics or a concept for a song.
I feel like Evans would be really good at this because he’s good with words.
When they hear you humming something that doesn’t sound familiar they would ask you if it’s a new song.
Scarlett and Lizzie were always excited to hear your stuff.
“Oooo, is that a new song?”
“Come on, (y/n)! Can we get a little snippet please?”
“We promise to not leak it like last time!”
“Yeah! Neither Mark or Tom are here, you’re all good!”
Tom or Mark definitely leaked a few of your songs by accident. Not that they did it on purpose, they just recorded things at the wrong times.
When you sang they would always be quiet and just listen to your voice.
Whenever you hit a high note or sang something that was a bit sassy, there were always some reactions.
Chadwick would really listen to your stuff and just feel the music. When he’s done listening to a song, he would hug you and praise you on how good you did.
Anthony was always your hype man, whether you were singing or answering a question about your music, he will hype you up whenever he can.
“Mmm that’s right, sing it girl.”
“Damn, ya’ll heard that note?!”
“That’s right! Number 1 album in the world, baby. Get with it.”
“Ya’ll heard her right, five Grammy nominations. Gimme some.” He’d brag while fist bumping you.
Sometimes you would catch them singing one of your songs and you would feel all warm and giggly inside because it makes you happy that they enjoy your music.
When you guys aren’t filming and you’re off on tour, they would come to the shows that are in their city or whatever is nearest to them.
Sometimes you wouldn’t even expect them to be there and would be caught off guard while you’re singing.
For example, you were doing a show in New York and all of a sudden you see Paul Rudd just jamming to Thank U, Next in the pit.
“I know they say I move on too fast, but this one gon’ last. ‘Cause her name is— Paul?”
Whenever you guys are promoting new Marvel movies on morning/late night shows, you were always the musical guest.
They were always excited to see you perform. They loved to see you in your element because you always looked like you were having fun and so free. You always stunned them with your talent.
They could never wrap their heads around how you could sing and dance while having so much energy on stage, it truly boggled with their minds.
When they were asked about your music career, they would always say good things because it was true.
RDJ: “She’s just so talented. Like at such a young age, she’s accomplished so much! She’s writing music, releasing album after album, and on top of that she’s working on these films with us! I’m proud of her and proud to say that she’s part of this little family we have. We’re very blessed to have her.”
Brie Larson: “I wish I was like her at that age. I’m so proud of her, she’s a young woman just doing what she loves and not letting people stop her. I’m glad that young girls around the world have her to look up to. She’s going to do amazing things in the future.”
Evans: “Man, have you heard her new album? She really went all in on that one. You know, we’ve seen her grow up into the woman she is today, and you could hear that in her music. I’m glad that we got to experience that and have some kind of part in the legacy she’s building. I hope this means we get to have a musical now.”
Mackie: “That’s our little birdie. Yeah— we call her birdie cause she’s always singing or humming something. You could never have her or Evans together on set, they just burst out singing some random song and everything becomes a musical. No, but in all seriousness, she’s special. The talent she has, you can’t find that in everyone. She’s one in a million.”
They would be so proud of you when you finally win a Grammy or other awards for your music.
There would be videos of them reacting to the moment your name is called for awards like, Album of the Year or Artist of the Year.
When you guys have karaoke night, everyone would fight for you to be on their team.
You could’ve been your own team, but there was no fun in that.
You were like the last donut with red, white, and blue sprinkles (If you know where that’s from, I love u)
“Robert, she was on your team last time! You can’t have her twice!”
“Watch me, Evans.”
“Ayo! Hold up! Sebastian and I barely get to have (y/n) on our team!”
“You boys are childish! (Y/n)’s going to be on my team with Brie and Lizzie.”
Being part of the Marvel family was one of the many things you were grateful for in your career.
They gave you so much love and support as if they were your real family and you loved them all so much.
Even when their times with Marvel were done, they would still be there to support you no matter what, because they were your number one fans.

...dance 'til you find someone to die for...
What if instead of Seth, Riko tried to get rid of Aaron?
Chapter 8 ♟️ [table of contents]
(CW: swearing, verbal fights, physical violence, death threats, threats, mentioned/referenced/implied drug addiction + alcoholism, mentioned/referenced/implied emotional/psychological/physical abuse, physical assault)
Shit hits the fan immediately.
Everybody picks a fight with everybody.
Andrew antagonizes the giant #03, Jean Moreau, who in turn fights and threatens fucking Josten, and then fucking Josten spits out venom right back at him, in addition to completely destroying Riko verbally with a speech worthy of History books (Aaron has to give him that).
Even Seth and Allison fight with each other, which isn’t unusual per se but, in front of the team’s common enemy, is more than odd.
The only plus-one of the night, Nicky’s date from improv (Tim? Finn? Whatever-his-name) is about to pass out in his chair from all the passive-aggressiveness of the table.
Meanwhile, Aaron watches everything unfold.
Everything, everywhere.
He tries to memorize every interaction, every word, every person. His survival depends on it.
He’s paranoid.
He doesn’t eat or drink anything, for fear of poison or hidden illicit substances. He sticks to the team despite the altercations, although he is hesitant to stay close to Nicky, for fear of putting his life in danger. At least with staying near Josten the bastard, he knows the motherfucker already did that on his own like the real champion he is, with that stupid mouth of his. Aaron himself doesn’t say a single word.
No, he doesn’t trust his words, his mouth. After all, he gave his game to Kevin, not his back. And Kevin’s back is a whole-ass target on its own, but he’s got Andrew to watch over him.
Andrew, who doesn’t seem to give two shits about his brother despite all the evidence that he definitely should.
(Andrew does give a shit, he just thinks that… well, that Aaron made it hard for himself, all on his own, by choosing drugs, and that night where he called him was his fault, and maybe it was bit of collateral damage from the interview with Kevin, Neil and Riko but… he’s was not, he is not, the real target here.)
(Wrong.)
Aaron had the audacity to survive that night, to fight his urges, to be a walking liability in Riko’s scheme, and Riko cannot have that. The target on Aaron’s back is not an accident anymore.
He wonders what the new plan is to get rid of him for good. He knows he can’t go anywhere alone if he doesn’t want to get killed (and even then…), so Aaron is left with the only option of watching everything everybody else doesn’t seem to bother noticing.
He sees Renee taking Moreau aside and slipping him something in their awkward handshake (Aaron knows what to look for in these instances, he’s been on the receiving end of those quite a lot, although little packets of pills were usually passed around, not scribbles on a piece of paper…)
What was Renee playing at?
After a few moments, though, the one and only Trojan #01 Jeremy Knox joins them and, looking over his shoulder, with a serious expression on his face that no reporter had ever captured, he ushers them a little further away from the Ravens’ and the Foxes’ fighting. Renee leaves the two men alone after a few words, smiling her serene, unnerving (and fake) smile. Once she settles down in Seth’s empty chair beside Allison, Aaron snaps his attention back to Moreau and Knox.
Moreau looks like a fish out of water, his eyes wide in helplessness and discomfort.
Knox is still disconcertingly serious, but there is a certain glint in his eyes that can be seen even from afar, a glimpse of hope and something else… something like when one is approaching a wounded animal.
Aaron hates that look instantly and turns his face away, deeming the exchange irrelevant to his situation… Just in time to witness Kevin grabbing Josten’s jaw 'til his knuckles turn white, while the latter has the audacity to chew him out in French.
Aaron also sees that Coach finally has the common sense to get involved in the fight and, relocating the Foxes to the Coaches’ table, leaves a fragile, trembling and sober Kevin in the hands of Abby, while he himself takes on the case of Josten and Andrew.
Aaron makes a move to follow Abby and Kevin when they are intercepted by Jeremy Knox, again. And that seems like the miracle Kevin needed not get shitfaced the minute he was out the court. Hovering between the remaining Foxes and the two men, Aaron decides to eavesdrop a bit.
If Aaron had never seen such a severe expression on Jeremy Knox’s features before, he definitely had never ever seen a smile like that on Kevin Day’s face.
It was the world turned upside down.
A world where Kevin was serene, where he lived in peace, where his smile deepened those lines on his face because he smiled so often, where Exy wasn’t the center of his life, where alcohol had never ruined him, where Riko had never touched him…
That seemed like a wonderful world.
For the first time since Nicky took him under his wings, Aaron was truly grateful that a person existed; he couldn’t put into words how much Jeremy Knox inspired him in a way that had nothing to do with Exy. He couldn’t remember ever feeling this relieved that someone accomplished what he could not.
Maybe Aaron could be better. Maybe he could learn to be someone good. Maybe he could learn to be someone good for others.
Maybe he could turn his whole life around.
Jeremy Knox certainly made him feel like everything was possible.
That is, if Aaron didn’t die tonight.
That thought fell upon Aaron like a cold shower. He suddenly had the urge to throw up, and all survival instincts pushed aside, he ran for the bathrooms, alone. He barely made it. Aaron thought he was lucky the stalls were all empty, but his luck ran out pretty quickly.
Footsteps too slow, too deliberate to belong to someone in desperate need to relieve themselves, alarmed Aaron that he better make himself as small and silent as possible. He was kind of getting tired of witnessing dangerous conversations, yet he had no choice but to climb on the toilet seat and wait for the meeting to end.
He could only see one pair of shoes from his angle, and oh how he wished he had paid attention to that too; now he was just as clueless as if he had not listened to a single thing said tonight.
“I doubt you were looking forward to this as much as I was. After all, you were slightly… wrong, last time we spoke, yes? I don’t need to remind you what’s on the line here, do I?” an unmistakable voice slowly said.
Riko.
But the other man stayed quiet
“Now tell me, Gordon, will you play for me?” Riko asked without really leaving room for a 'no’.
Gordon.
Seth Gordon.
What was Riko doing, trying to poach from the Foxes he despised so vehemently?
And Seth…
What was Seth playing at?
Aaron’s ears were buzzing so much he didn’t get to hear the end of the conversation before Riko left. His mind only focus back when Seth started slamming open every door of every stall.
Bam!
Bam!
Getting closer…
Bam!
And bam!
And–
Seth stopped.
Sweat slid down Aaron’s back.
He could see Seth’s shoes, his fucking shoes, right in front of the bathroom stall where he was hiding.
Seth knew the door was locked.
He knew someone was in there. He had to know. He had to.
Yet he moved on and slammed the rest of the doors until the last one made the loudest bam!
Then he simply left.
Aaron’s heart was trying to beat out of his chest, his vision had gone blurry, his breaths, ragged. Slowly, shakily, Aaron set one foot down on the ground. Then the other. He unlocked the door and saw himself in the mirror. He looked away.
Putting one unsteady foot in front of the other, he walked until he was out. Only, the night had barely started, and it did not care if Aaron was already more than done with it.
As soon as his vision cleared, his eyes searched for Kevin, and Andrew
Kevin he found, still chatting with Jeremy Knox, Abby not far away.
Andrew he found, too, alone
Alone.
Not a fucking Josten in sight.
Without meaning to, Aaron looked for the fucker and found him right where he didn’t want him to be: by Riko’s side.
Riko was seemingly everywhere, tonight. Everywhere trouble lurked.
They were both standing outside, in the chilly night, but Aaron could see them through the court’s glass doors. To anyone else, they looked like two athletes taking a breather. To any Fox with eyes, it was one of theirs trapped in a conversation with their sworn enemy.
What was fucking Josten playing at?
Aaron was so lost in his scenarios that, in the end, he didn’t even see what was coming for him. Or rather, who.
Two humongous Ravens passed him and just when they were blocking Aaron from everyone’s view, they pushed him outside the fire exit door of the gymnasium. The cold air did nothing to bring Aaron out of his stupor.
Aaron did not know their names. He did not know their faces. But he knew their fists.
Unlike that fateful night days ago, the two Ravens spared his back. They were not so kind with his sides. The same huge and angry punches rained on Aaron’s ribs, finding their home in his stomach. The same vicious, yet controlled punches left Aaron choking for air on the cold concrete, blinded by pain
Aaron waited for the fists to catch on his face, his nose, his throat, his temples, anything that would have finished him off, but they never came.
Instead, he was left folded in two on the ground, gasping, but not bleeding. At least not externally. Which was the whole point of the assault, Aaron realized.
The marks he would sport, if he survived, would easily be hidden by his clothes. It’s the internal bleeding he definitely had that would kill him slowly, slowly enough for the night to end and for the Ravens to be declared not guilty. Nobody would notice Aaron’s absence until it was too late. Nobody would notice.
Nobody would fucking notice.
And that was the plan, Aaron realized once more.
They’ll leave me to bleed, out here, until my brother finds my cold body at the end of the night.
Yet once again, that plan had not taken into account Kevin Day’s righteous spine.

Top 10 Things I Love About Supernatural
It’s been almost half a year since the show ended and now that the dust has settlIed, I just want to list ten reasons I love this show. Despite it’s flaws, it’s been quite the ride.
1. Team Free Will
Tumblr media
When I first got the idea to make this list, I originally planned on doing entirely separate entries for “Sam & Dean” and “Destiel”. Except then I wanted to pay tribute to “Sastiel”. And then I wanted to do an entry for “Team Free Dads”. By that point, I was already halfway through the list and I hadn’t even moved on from the main characters. A few months ago, I made a post about why I love every single pairing in this group. Obviously, Sam and Dean are a legendary duo. Obviously, Dean and Cas have an unparalleled story. Obviously, Sam and Cas are an underrated team. As for Team Free Dads, I’ve always had a soft spot for father/mentor figure characters and and all three tackle the role in different ways. I love Jack, too. I love how everyone in this bizarro family is “broken” in some way. We’ve got the Allistair’s prized pupil, the spawn of satan, the boy with demon blood, and the angel who nearly obliterated all of heaven. But they help each other heal by being supportive and seeing the good in each other. They all love each other so deeply and when together, nothing can stand in their way. Not Michael, not Lucifer, and not God himself. They tore up the book and wrote their own story. And it was a pleasure to watch it all unfold.
2. The Suppporting Characters
Tumblr media
To list every single supporting character I have loved and lost in this show would take way too long. I don’t know if it’s the writing or acting performances, but I love pretty much every single supporting character on this show. Even villains like Azazel or Allistair are top-notch villains. Hell, I even like characters like Metatron, Lucifer, Mary, and John! Characters like Rufus, Charlie, Crowley, Rowena, Kevin, Ellen, Jo, Bobby, Gabriel, Balthazar, Mick...how am I not supposed to love them??? All of their stories were cut so short. I’d watch a show about any of these characters. The Wayward Sisters were robbed. So many ships were gone too soon (Sam/Rowena, Dean/Jo, Cas/Meg, Etc.). So many heartbreaking deaths. I want to be best friends with all these characters. Why be a “dean-girl” or a “sam-girl” when you can be a garth-girl? A kevin-girl? A claire-girl? A bela-girl? There are so many great characters with interesting and compelling backstories and so much untapped potential. I could go on forever on this, but I digress. This show has one of the best supporting casts I have ever had the pleasure of watching.
3. The Themes
Tumblr media
It’s no accident that I got addicted to this show at the time that I did. Namely, my Senior Year of College and 2020. Graduating college and entering the “real world” felt like it’s own sort of apocalypse. 2020 definitely exacerbated my worst tendencies. Messages like “family don’t end in blood”, “you can write your own story”, and “always keep fighting” really resonated with me. I could definitely relate to the feelings of insecurity these character’s felt and the ways they suppressed/repressed their issues instead of facing them. I could relate to the feelings of not fitting in and I could definitely relate to the loneliness. This show helped remind me that I’m not alone. That it’s okay if my values and identity don’t line up with the what I envisioned for myself. And, most importantly, that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that I should never give up. If Dean, Sam, and Cas can keep moving forward despite their demons and despite how bad it gets, so can I. Regardless of how the story ended, these themes resonated with me and I’ll still hold them with me. A single episode can’t take that away.
4. The Fun Episodes
Tumblr media
This show has so many legendary standalone episodes. Changing Channels. Ghostfacers. The French Mistake. Fan Fiction. Tall Tales. Bad Day at Black Rock. When this show goes for the absurd, it goes all-in. It takes the risks it needs to take, it gets completely insane, and it pulls it off. So many of these episodes could have easily been the moment that the show “jumped the shark”. Yet, time after time, the show delivered on it’s potential. I don’t know how much I can say about these episodes except that they made me laugh out loud, made me fall even harder for these characters, and that they’re the episodes I remember best. If I were to rewatch any episode, it would be one of the fun ones. This show knew how to not take itself too seriously and how to poke fun at itself. I’ve always had a soft spot for shows that can make me laugh and cry (X-Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel, Doctor Who, etc.), and this show definitely nails the fun part.
5. The Sad Episodes
Tumblr media
Death’s Door. Hammer of the Gods. Despair. Carry On. Abandon All Hope. In My Time of Dying. Swan Song. When this show wants you to cry, it doesn’t pull the punches. It gets downright devastating. No character is safe. Literally every character you love will either be forgotten or will die. Or both. The amount of trauma Sam and Dean have to go through is insane. Both have literally been to hell and back. Both have killed countless people, including innocents. When this show decides it wants to wreck you, it’s overwhelming. I sobbed when Bobby died. I sobbed when every single member of Team Free Will died for the final time (I still can’t watch any of those scenes). I still wish Jo, Ellen, Charlie, Kevin, Mick, and Gabriel had been given more time to tell their stories. Being a hunter means a life of endless angst. Being an angel or demon doesn’t get you off the hook, either. I remember going into this show thinking it couldn’t hurt me. My favorite character type is “mentor/father figure”. But holy hell...I don’t think every single sad moment was necessarily good writing, but when it was? Damn.
6. The Biblical Themes
Tumblr media
I’m not a relgious person. But, despite this show being steeped in Christian mythology, it really touched on my feelings about the Old Testament in a profound way. Well, really just Ben Edlund and Robbie Thompson did. I’ve never seen a show really hit the overall feel of the bible the way this show does. The idea of Angels as mystical and terrifying creatures. The idea of God as a flawed father figure with a penchant for wrath. The sheer epicness of the biblical stories. The idea of family members constantly being turned on each other. Cain and Abel. Jacob and Essau. Moses and Ramses. Moses and Aaron. Abraham and Isaac. The bible is full of stories of family drama. This show doesn’t always give angels and demons weight. Sometimes it’s silly and stupid and cheesy. But when it hits right? It’s epic. This is more of a personal thing I love about the show, but definitely a plus!
7. The Music
Tumblr media
The early seasons music is so good. I really miss the classic rock of the golden era of the show. I mean, there are still some great musical moments later on, but damn. I loved hearing songs I recognized and I loved learning new songs. I loved when the song and the scene hit perfectly in time (Death’s intro. Cas’s return in Season 13.). Also Supernatural wouldn’t be Supernatural without the ‘Carry On My Wayward Son’ song at the end of every season. Even at the end of a season I didn’t love, that recap would always get me pumped. Also Chuck singing Fare Thee Well? Dean and Lee singing together? Fan Fiction? All great.
8. The Cast & Crew
Tumblr media
I never care about the actors or actresses in a show. I definitely don’t bother with the names of specific writers and directors or their styles of writing/directing. They’re just random people who happen to write for or play these characters I love. They’re not actually the characters. But these guys? Well, for one, I’m pretty sure half this cast actually is their character. At least to some degree. They’re also just...really cool people? Who are all friends? They make a point to do community service, to interact with fans, and to promote positive ideas. Jared’s Always Keep Fighting campaign. Misha and GISH. The fact that they all participate in fundraising opportunities and encourage fan engagement. Do they all have issues? Definitely. Have they said stupid things? Yes. But the good far outweighs the bad. They’re an entertaining bunch whether onscreen or not and I hope they all do well in whatever their future endeavors may be.
9. The Fandom
Tumblr media
I joined this fandom late. To be honest, I thought this fandom was obnoxious before I found myself a part of it. Now that I’ve been in the trenches? It’s got it’s ups and downs like any fandom. There are some parts that are more toxic than others. A lot of people yelling that their opinion is the only opinion. But overall? The good outweighs the bad. And the good? The good is great. Some fanfictions I’ve read are better than actual books I’ve read and just as moving. The fanart? Incredible. I love reading all the metas about random aspects of the show I never would have noticed. I love the music videos and I love the analytical videos. In real life, I’ve made many friends through our mutual love of this show. Hell, even getting sucked into GISH once or twice has given me some solid memories and brought me closer to friends. I wish all fandoms were this much like family. I’m so glad I got to be a part of this fandom and I can’t wait to continue being a fan. After all, nothing ever stays dead in Supernatural.
10. The Chaos & Insanity
Tumblr media
Season 16 has been a time. First, Destiel went canon. Then suddenly Sherlock was having a 5th season, Putin was retiring, and Georgia was going blue. Destiel going “canon” and Joe Biden winning the presidency will always be correlated in my mind now. Things in the fandom went from quiet to blaringly loud real fast. Carry On happened. The fandom went into a civil war. I can’t even remember half of what happened in Season 16, but it’s been a wild ride. There’s been ups (my personal favorite being the french dub and the Saileen wedding). There’s been downs (Jared’s controversial statements and the original scripts being leaked). At one point Misha Collins had sex with Bill Clinton???? It’s been a wild time. It’s honestly gotten me through the end of this pandemic. At least it’s entertaining. I would say that at least all the craziness is over, but is it ever really over? Every time I say that something else completely insane happens. But it’s been fun. I’m glad I started watching this show despite my reservations and here’s to whatever happens next.

AI continues the Riko roast attempt N2
in this one you'll see still no Riko, confused Kevin and Neil's questionable PR skills.
"You know, I get it," Neil said. "Being raised as a superstar must be really, really difficult for you. Always a commodity, never a human being, not a single person in your family thinking you're worth a damn off the court—yeah, sounds rough. Kevin and I talk about your intricate and endless daddy issues all the time. I know it's not entirely your fault that you are mentally unbalanced and infected with these delusions of grandeur, and I know you're physically incapable of holding a decent conversation with anyone like every other normal human being can, but I don't think any of us should have to put up with this much of your bullshit. Pity only gets you so many concessions, and you used yours up about six insults ago. So please, please, just shut the fuck up and leave us alone. We'll come to your games in peace, and we'll buy your gear. But we'll only do that if you step aside and give me another go at this thing called life."
Neil watched Kevin in silence for several minutes before deciding that—for once—he had to say something. "Kevin, you're great on the court, and the star players in this league who don't know how to act around each other deserve a big applause. You're a great teammate, a solid community person, and a great player. And I'd take a red-hot Dirk Nowitzki in the Finals any day over you. I like a lot of the things that you do on and off the court. I just don't like you. And I'd really appreciate if you could just not be yourself around us. At least then we can have a conversation."
"Nah," Kevin replied after a long pause. "I'm going to be myself."
Taken aback, Neil nodded. "All right, Kevin. You can be yourself. But, you know, a few rules. First of all, you'll have to leave for all practice and shootarounds, and for team meals. I don't want you fucking up the guy's practice routine or spoiling his warm-up routine. And I don't want you parading around half-naked around the arena, much less take my job from me. And while we're on the subject of nudity, I can't have you acting like a jackass with a blown-up Pepsi banner on my back like some sort of tramp."
"Got it," Kevin replied. "I promise to do my best."
"Good. Now, I also need you to tone down your sarcasm, petulance, and dry wit," Neil added, "and stop throwing your mouth open like some sort of baby duck whenever you're excited about something. It's embarrassing. It makes you look like a little punk kid who's already finished with elementary school. Let's see, since you've become a star, your teammates have won five more playoff series and won one more NBA championship, which makes you the winningest player in the history of the team."
"Yeah, whatever. I'm the best."
Neil sighed. "Yes, Kevin, you are, and you know it. You're also the most hated. I know you probably don't want me to tell you this, but your public is starting to catch on to your royal punkiness. Fans are starting to ask when you're going to stop messing around and start being the good-natured soul that you truly are. And while they're asking, they're not as excited when they see you coming to the game anymore. Now that they're no longer getting everything for free, they're demanding a fraction of your paycheck and coming to games only if they've got a death wish.
A quick look at your recent numbers shows that you're never gonna be able to sustain your market value, so you're losing sponsors faster than a Zippy the Pinhead cartoon. I think it's time that you made some more changes to your image and get back to being the class clown. You're going to have to wear these goofy glasses that are now a part of your uniform. You're going to start speaking in a baby voice and begging reporters for softballs as if you were some poor, innocent baby who just wants to be noticed. Then, you're going to bring every scrap of lunch meat and grease-stained Kleenex into the locker room with you, and you're going to start sucking on garlic-flavored toothpicks as if you were some cheap wannabe poser trying to play the part of an intellectual.
And last, but not least, you're going to start jerking off and spraying your entire body with strong-smelling hairspray before going out for a road game, and after the game, you're going to do it again. And then, when you get home, you're going to do it some more. You'll also start sniffing your own armpits, licking them, and making weird comments like, 'Look at that freakin' blue streak in my dreary locks.' You're going to stand in front of your mirror and constantly ogle yourself in the toilet bowl. You're going to call yourself Ginger, gussy yourself up, and belt out 'White Wedding' in the shower, and if you have a date, you're going to purposely rip her clothes off and pretend that it was your idea all along."
"I'm sorry, but I'm going to ignore everything you just said, Neil," Kevin replied, trying to speak without giggling.
"Fine. So, then, what's your big idea, Kevin?"
"Oh, this is priceless." Kevin giggled maniacally, and his teammates yelled for him to shut the hell up.
"You're totally gonna be in movies," Neil said. "You're going to play the bad guy, but make sure you get the girl in the end. You're going to go undercover for weeks and sneak into death-metal concert events, where you're gonna stage fights, mess up everyone's hair, and drink bleach while being the absolute worst thing to ever hit a concert stage. People are gonna love it. You're going to start releasing dark, angst-filled folk-rock ballads, full of powerful emotion and heartache. You're going to start writing scathing criticism of the president and your teammates on your blog, but under a false identity so that nobody will recognize your name when you're actually being serious.
You're gonna get married, have two kids, and then have to suffer through a divorce that's so nasty that your ex-wife's going to get remarried within a month of the divorce. You're going to get beaten up regularly by her new boyfriend, who will be an enormous douche, and then have a car accident, and your legs will be broken so badly that you're going to need crutches. You're going to lose your job as a sportswriter, and then your wife's going to get fired from her job as a waitress because your friends will keep inviting her to your games. You're going to have to drive an old junker car that is crammed with mismatched parts, and you're going to have to flip yourself through traffic lights and weave in and out of oncoming cars while wearing a suit that's way too big for you. You'll bring hundreds of dollars of Taco Bell and Tostitos lunch meat into your home, and you'll be constantly sniffing your fingers like a dog, but somehow, that's going to work for you."
"Why don't you shut up?" Kevin demanded.
"I'm telling you, it's the perfect plan," Neil said Kevin finally stopped laughing and his cheeks began to redden.
"I'm sorry, but I don't get it."
"Well, all I can say is that you're damn lucky that the Sacramento Kings are playing against the San Jose Sharks this season, otherwise I'd lock you in your room right now, and I'd make you eat a full eight-course dinner," Neil replied. "I don't think you're ready for a Gregg Popovich type of coaching. I'll let you take the next couple of days to ponder this information."
"Uh, okay," Kevin said. "Thanks, Neil," he added quickly as he ran off to the bathroom to vomit in the toilet.

Guilty By Association

*Not my gif*
Pairing: Antonio Dawson x Reader
Requested: Yes
Prompt: You get kidnapped thanks to a hit put on Antonio
Warnings: Kidnapping, beating, blood
You knew when you started dating Antonio it would come with challenges. Obviously Laura had left him for a reason. You knew it would take a lot of work and understanding on your part, but you also knew Antonio was worth it. You had met him thanks to work. You were a nurse at Med and ran into him a lot when he would come to question suspects, victims, or witnesses. You were honestly quite shocked whenever he asked you out, but you had no problem accepting. You hit it off quickly, and even Eva and Diego seemed to like you which was your biggest worry. It was a normal night for you just getting off your shift at the hospital. You said your goodbyes to everyone at work, heading out to your car to finally go home to some much needed sleep. However, as soon as you reached your car you heard tires screeching, breaking quickly whenever the van reached you. You were grabbed harshly, a hand clasped tightly over your mouth preventing any noise from coming out. Although you didn’t know if any noise would come out anyway thanks to the shock running through your body. You were dragged into the back of the van, the man never letting go. Once inside the back doors were closed and you the van was once again screeching down the road. It was then that the shock started to fade, and adrenaline began to take over. You began to kick and flail your arms as strongly as possible which only earned you a kick to the ribs from another guy accompanying you in the back that you weren’t aware of up until that point. You couldn’t help the wail of pain that escaped your mouth. The other man took this opportunity to tie your hands together while the man who had kicked you tied your feet together. Neither of them took no mercy tying the ropes tight and hard. Surely leaving cuts, bruises, and indents in your skin. Not long after you felt the van come to a halt, and the back doors swung open. The man facing you was tall and skinny, but also muscular. Tattoos covering his neck and arms. You hadn’t recognized him. He helped the other two men carrying you into the warehouse. You tried to take mental pictures of everything around you although you were sure it wouldn’t make any difference. The men carried you in throwing you on to the concrete floor which caused you to crack your head blacking out for a second. You whimpered not wanting you make any noise to give them the satisfaction. Once you landed you felt something in your pocket. It was then you remembered your phone had never fallen out thanks to the deep pockets of your scrubs. You did your best to conceal it not drawing any attention. Luckily it was still on silent from work. Although you knew you couldn’t reach it you were hoping Mouse could get a ping on it if they came to look for you. They pulled you up against the wall taking the rope off your wrists and replacing them with handcuffs attaching you to hooks sticking out. You stared up hard at the men surrounding you, pain shooting throughout your body and for some reason you felt it was only going to get worse.
“Why are you doing this?” You asked anger coursing through you. It wasn’t until this moment that you discovered Antonio had a hit placed on him for killing a gang leader’s son, and the only way to get to him was through you. You didn’t know what to think. Eva had been kidnapped and raped, Diego had been kidnapped, and now you. You weren’t sure at this point what else it was going to take for Antonio to realize he was putting you all in danger. You knew he loved his job, and you wanted him to continue to do it, but something needed to be done whether that be hiring you all a private security or what. That is if you would ever make it that far. The pain in your ribs, back, and the excruciating headache that was present was telling you otherwise. “You’re seriously doing this all for some cash?” You asked trying to get through to them, but they just laughed.
“$100k is not “some cash.” We do this for free half the time. Well I guess technically we are doing it for free to you..” One of the guys answered smiling big.
“You’re sick.” You huffed only making them smile bigger.
“Don’t worry we have a lot still to come.” The big guy winked at you before they all left the building. No matter how hard you tried to tug your arms you only made the pain worse. You looked around for anything to get you out, but the strategically removed everything from around.
“Antonio, come on. Please hurry up.” You whispered to yourself in desperation.
~Antonio’s POV~
“[Y/N]?” I yelled out walking into her apartment. Her car was not in the parking lot, and her shoes were nowhere to be found. I walked into her bedroom to see her bed still made untouched. I pulled out my phone calling her again for about the twentieth time in an hour. This gave me an uneasy feeling, but I convinced myself maybe something caught her up at work or maybe she fell asleep there on accident. So, off to Med I went. I pulled in to the employee parking lot to see her car sitting there. Still not knowing whether this was a good thing or not I quickly rushed in to be met with Dr. Manning standing at the desk. Once I got her attention she turned to me.
“Hey, Detective Dawson what can I do for you?” She asked pleasantly.
“Is [Y/N] still here?” I rushed out concern clear in my voice.
“I don’t believe so. I haven’t seen her since last night.” Natalie answered confusion on her face. “Why? What’s wrong?” She continued.
“Her car is still in parking lot.” I replied digging for my phone and dialing Voight’s number walking out and leaving Natalie in her confused state.
“Voight.” I heard other end of the phone after two rings.
“I think [Y/N]’s missing.” I rushed out.
~[Y/N] POV~
I was surprised to find the amount of pain one can endure before passing out. Even as a nurse the reality shocked me. It also surprised to find that people are so messed up in the head that they enjoy beating someone so badly, that they enjoy hearing the screams of pain, and they will do whatever they can ensure it.
“Please, please stop.” You begged.
“Why would we do that?” They asked.
“I am not him. I didn’t do anything.” You cried.
“Guilty by association I guess is what you could call it. Plus you were the easiest to get to. It was either you, his kids, or his sister. Guess you were just the lucky winner.” The man shrugged hauling back to kick you again.
“You do realize he is going to find you right?” You asked glaring at them.
“That’s the plan.” They answered. You took the beatings for another ten minutes before you finally heard someone else’s voice. At the sound of that the men took off hiding behind barrels pulling out their guns. Which you thought was stupid on their part, but whatever. It didn’t take long for shooting to ensue between the two sides. You were waiting for one of the men to come back over to you, because that’d be the smarter thing to do, but obviously they weren’t very smart to begin with, kidnapping Antonio’s girlfriend, but that was for them to deal with. Adam snuck his way over to you as Kevin watched his back. You could see worry and sympathy written over his face.
“Come on. We got an ambulance outside.” Adam whispered cutting the rope and undoing the handcuffs. While the shooting continued.
“Where’s Antonio?” You asked looking around for him.
“Outside. Too risky for him to come in. They’d all be gunning for him.” Adam explained very carefully picking you up. You whimpered, tears running down your face again, breathing hard at the pain, and going in and out of consciousness. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” Adam kept repeating, handling you like you were an egg that already had a crack in it. Luckily you weren’t too far from the door as Kevin guarded you both the whole time. You closed your eyes upon meeting the sunlight but fighting to open them again to find Antonio. Antonio came rushing up to you as Adam carried you over to Sylvie and Gabby where they immediately started checking you for damage. Antonio kept apologizing asking you questions, voice croaking every so often, probably due to a lump in his throat. You tried to answer, but your jaw hurt so bad and Gabby told you to stop talking. It was a very long process once you got to the hospital as they did a million and one tests. Antonio stayed by your side through it all. You were informed that you had a severe concussion, a number of broken ribs, a good amount of bruised body parts, and cuts everywhere. Although it sounds bad you were pretty lucky considering the beating you took. You were quite annoyed with the neck brace you had to wear, and Antonio didn’t waste any time lecturing you whenever you asked him to help take it off. Other than that he was silent most of the time only speaking to ask the doctor questions. After everything had died down the team came to visit you. They informed you they had taken two of the guys down in the shoot out and had the other in custody. Although you were glad they came to keep you company you also were not a fan of the sympathetic looks they kept throwing you. Having to tell them numerous times you were okay and stop looking at you like that. Even through all of that Antonio stayed silent. Eventually you were finally left alone with him. You looked over at him to see him sitting beside you elbows rested over his knees, staring up at you guilt completely written over his face.
“Didn’t I just tell you all not to look at me like that.” You joked turning your whole body to face him thanks to that damn neck brace. He however did not  find your joke funny. “Antonio, babe, come on.” You sighed holding your hand out for him to take it, which he did very hesitantly.
“I can’t believe this happened again.” He swallowed hard looking down at the floor.
“It’s not your fault.” You tried to reason with him, but that just made him angry.
“It’s not my fault?” He looked at you in disbelief, “How in the world is this not my fault [Y/N]?” He asked jaw visibly tensing.
“It’s not like you planned for this to happen Antonio. It’s just something that comes along with your job.” You answered.
“Well then I am fucking done with my job.” He threw his hands up standing up to pace around the room.
“Stop being irrational.” You scolded him.
“I am not being irrational. I can’t take it anymore. I am supposed to protect people and instead this is what keeps happening. The people I love more than anything in this world end up here because of me.” He ranted, running a hand through his hair.
“Come back over here.” You said sternly, but he just continued to pace around the room. “Unless you want me to come over there to you I suggest you come back over here.” You continued. He looked at you contemplating before he realized you actually would get up if you had to. He sighed heavily walking over and sitting next to you once again. “Do you even realize how many people you’ve helped? How many people you’ve saved?” You asked.
“That doesn’t matter to me if I can’t save you.” He answered grabbing a hold of your hand.
“You have plenty of times Antonio. I can’t imagine where I’d be if I wouldn’t have found you.” You admitted squeezing his hand tighter. “You’re not quitting your job.” You stated. If he didn’t do it to save his family, if he didn’t do it whenever Laura wanted him to you sure as hell weren’t letting him now. “Although it would be nice to rub into Laura’s face.” You joked making him chuckle and roll his eyes.
“I love you, and I am so sorry baby.” He looked at you biting his lip.
“I love you too.” You smiled at him. “Come cuddle me.” You begged pulling his arm. He very very very carefully sat down beside you barely moving his body. “Oh my goodness you people. I am not an egg that’s about to break, Dawson.” You complained giving him a look which made him smile relaxing a bit next to you. He reached for the remote scrolling through channels preparing you for the questions intelligence would soon ask you.

Are 400+ TV Shows Happening In The Same Universe? | Idea Channel | PBS Digital Studios
here’s a fan theory a certain portion of television history took place almost entirely inside the brain of a young autistic boy okay so first things first a couple days ago we released a version of this video that was wrong my understanding of the Tommy westphall universe hypothesis was just completely incorrect if you would like to watch that video for academic purposes you can click here or you can find a link in the description we are going to turn off comments on that video if you did write a comment we saved it we put it in a paste bin there is also a link to that paste bin in the doobly-doo okay now on to a version of this video that is hopefully correct for the next several weeks here on idea channel we’re gonna be doing something a little bit different every other week instead of taking a piece of popular culture and smashing it up against some academic or critical theory to see what happens we’re gonna talk about fan theories speculations about the ways of some of our favorite pieces of media may work even if it doesn’t really appear that way on the surface we’re gonna do five of them we’re gonna talk about Harry Potter Pokemon Star Wars probably dip at least a little bit into Final Fantasy Legend of Zelda and a few others the first fan theory we’re gonna talk about right now is really I think something special it’s a little old so it’s gonna take some explaining but I think it’s important because it’s paradigmatic of fan theories it hits all of the fan theory high notes it’s called the Tommy Westfall universe or the Tommy westphall universe hypothesis and it states that over 400 television shows and Counting all take place in the same universe the theory is defended thusly in 1988 the American television show st.

elsewheres dr.
Roxanne Turner reprised that role in a 1998 episode of homicide life on the street titled mercy this means that if the fictional dr.
Turner is a complete Westphal fabrication and she shows up on homicide then homicide must also by extension be a Westfall fabrication but okay hold on because homicide and much of television draws from its surroundings from the past and present of its medium as well as others Tommy Westfall becomes not unlike the breadcrumb trail or contrast medium making visible the extreme intertextuality of popular primetime TV once homicide is part of the Tommy Westfall universe every character crossing from it to other shows draws those shows into the westfall universe even if the characters crossing over aren’t in the st.
elsewhere to begin with characters crossing from those shows to a third circle of shows then draw more characters into the universe and the process continues until the complex of TV we normally think of as being comprised of many discrete fictional universes separated by show title is laid out as one continuous fictional landscape unbelievable and as you might imagine that landscape is big just to take you down one pathway source here Eliot Carlin from Newhart visits the psych ward in st.

Turner questions the lone gunman from the x-files the x-files cancer man smokes Morley cigarettes Morley cigarettes have been in 24 American Horror Story the Americans Breaking Bad Fraser orange is the new black shameless that 70 show up all night Buffy the Vampire Slayer and as you may have guessed many many other shows the ending of st.
elsewhere with its snow globe and slow zoom and exposition suggesting Tommy has imagined six whole seasons of television and perhaps countless others provides the final piece for a puzzle many television fans would like to solve generally how can we imagine all or much of the media we love being somehow related somehow intertwined capable of interacting is there a pathway between Mulder and despite what if someone on the John Larroquette show influenced history in such a way that it made certain portions of Star Trek possible in the way that it’s fun to see public figures you like interacting with one another on social media it’s fun to consider how your favorite fictional universes may intersect or interact heck it’s a whole genre of fan fiction it’s even an incredibly popular video game with the point I don’t think is that the Tommy westphall universe hypothesis or any other fan theory for that matter is correct is 100% and totally verifiable and we figured out a secret thing that’s actually true about television and oppa bow before it’s deductive completeness the point is that fan theories provide new ways to think with and act our favorite pieces of media and culture fan theories try to determine what noon or exciting situation can be reasonably wrung out of a story based on what already they’re a good fan theory rearranges our reinterprets but doesn’t recreate and append they allow us new ways to consider well-known often discussed popular and/or beloved media and they almost always meet whatever that media is on its own terms this approach has its pros and it’s cons but most importantly it’s fun for me fan theories are kind of like critical thinking popcorn this is why I wanted to start with Tommy Westfall are there people out there who believe unequivocally that the Tommy westphall universe hypothesis proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that over 400 television shows really and truly do exist in exactly the same universe that instead of it being a symptom of intertextuality resulting from purposeful cleverness sure but also a practical convenience actual accident and literal coincidence it proves a fundamental characteristic of Caroline in the city and the wire is that they could in fact be happening a mere train ride from one another inside a young boy’s brain maybe and if so that’s awesome but even Dwayne McDuffie himself followed his Proclamation that quote the last five minutes of st.
elsewhere is the only television show ever everything else is a daydream with an admission that quote obsessive cross series continuity is silly he was making a point about comic books and maybe fixating on that kind of thing is silly but also novel and as movie bomb points out both fun and something you can go deep on fan theories maybe Tommy Westfall chief amongst them are a way to reconsider stories and universes that you love maybe they’ve sharpen your thinking bits maybe to gain a little bit more insight into parts of the story not captured on the page or by the camera or maybe because you really honestly do believe that Calvin and Hobbes is a prequel to Fight Club if you don’t know about that one you gotta go google it it’s very convincing what do you guys think what role do fan theories play in popular culture and do you think the Tommy westphall universe hypothesis holds up at all let us know in the comments and I will respond to some of them in next week’s comment response video in this week’s comment response video we talk about your thoughts regarding trigger warnings in classrooms if you want to watch that you can click right here or find a link in the doobly-doo we also have one bit of very exciting news idea channel finally has hold on one second t-shirts it was designed by my andrea AKA art sparrow who is a very talented illustrator really really excited that we got to work with her so i’ll put some links to her work in the description as well as well as a link to the dftba.
com store where you can buy this idea channel shirt it is the only thing that we have available right now we’re working on a couple other t-shirt designs as well as some other fun stuff trying to figure out how to get like stickers and and various and sundry other things but yeah the merch train is finally leaving the station which is very exciting choo choo this week’s episode was brought to you by the very hard work of these context Crossing fictional characters we have a facebook an IRC and a subreddit come hang out and the tweet of the week comes from Nick Stoller who points us towards an article about conveying and experiencing existential dread via super mario maker you.

Are 400+ TV Shows Happening In The Same Universe? | Idea Channel | PBS Digital Studios
here's a fan theory a certain portion of television history took place almost entirely inside the brain of a young autistic boy okay so first things first a couple days ago we released a version of this video that was wrong my understanding of the Tommy westphall universe hypothesis was just completely incorrect if you would like to watch that video for academic purposes you can click here or you can find a link in the description we are going to turn off comments on that video if you did write a comment we saved it we put it in a paste bin there is also a link to that paste bin in the doobly-doo okay now on to a version of this video that is hopefully correct for the next several weeks here on idea channel we're gonna be doing something a little bit different every other week instead of taking a piece of popular culture and smashing it up against some academic or critical theory to see what happens we're gonna talk about fan theories speculations about the ways of some of our favorite pieces of media may work even if it doesn't really appear that way on the surface we're gonna do five of them we're gonna talk about Harry Potter Pokemon Star Wars probably dip at least a little bit into Final Fantasy Legend of Zelda and a few others the first fan theory we're gonna talk about right now is really I think something special it's a little old so it's gonna take some explaining but I think it's important because it's paradigmatic of fan theories it hits all of the fan theory high notes it's called the Tommy Westfall universe or the Tommy westphall universe hypothesis and it states that over 400 television shows and Counting all take place in the same universe the theory is defended thusly in 1988 the American television show st.
elsewhere ended its broadcast run a sort of dark comedic medical dramedy set in a hospital the end of its final episode can be read to suggest that the entire series took place inside the brain of a minor character a young autistic boy named Tommy Westfall in opposed to titled six degrees of st.
elsewhere comic writer Dwayne McDuffie explains that this could mean most if not nearly all of television had taken was taking and would continue to take place in Tommy's brain he writes if saying elsewhere played by the rules of comics either they wouldn't have been allowed to do it or they would have precipitated a crisis in TV land far bloodier than DC Comics crisis on Infinite Earths why because crossover wise st.
elsewhere is the Kevin Bacon of TV shows end quote how so well if Tommy imagined nearly everything about st.
elsewhere including the people and those people show up on other programs doesn't it stand to reason that those programs are also imagined by Tommy Westfall this theory says yep now what you might say is okay sure but how many people meaning characters not actors are going to show up in other TV shows how many crossovers could there possibly be I hope you are watching this in your car but parked safe and completely stationary just so that you can literally buckle in one central and very important crossover takes place when alfre woodard who plays st.
elsewheres dr.
Roxanne Turner reprised that role in a 1998 episode of homicide life on the street titled mercy this means that if the fictional dr.

elsewhere to begin with characters crossing from those shows to a third circle of shows then draw more characters into the universe and the process continues until the complex of TV we normally think of as being comprised of many discrete fictional universes separated by show title is laid out as one continuous fictional landscape unbelievable and as you might imagine that landscape is big just to take you down one pathway source here Eliot Carlin from Newhart visits the psych ward in st.

here’s a fan theory a certain portion of television history took place almost entirely inside the brain of a young autistic boy okay so first things first a couple days ago we released a version of this video that was wrong my understanding of the Tommy westphall universe hypothesis was just completely incorrect if you would like to watch that video for academic purposes you can click here or you can find a link in the description we are going to turn off comments on that video if you did write a comment we saved it we put it in a paste bin there is also a link to that paste bin in the doobly-doo okay now on to a version of this video that is hopefully correct for the next several weeks here on idea channel we’re gonna be doing something a little bit different every other week instead of taking a piece of popular culture and smashing it up against some academic or critical theory to see what happens we’re gonna talk about fan theories speculations about the ways of some of our favorite pieces of media may work even if it doesn’t really appear that way on the surface we’re gonna do five of them we’re gonna talk about Harry Potter Pokemon Star Wars probably dip at least a little bit into Final Fantasy Legend of Zelda and a few others the first fan theory we’re gonna talk about right now is really I think something special it’s a little old so it’s gonna take some explaining but I think it’s important because it’s paradigmatic of fan theories it hits all of the fan theory high notes it’s called the Tommy Westfall universe or the Tommy westphall universe hypothesis and it states that over 400 television shows and Counting all take place in the same universe the theory is defended thusly in 1988 the American television show st.
elsewhere ended its broadcast run a sort of dark comedic medical dramedy set in a hospital the end of its final episode can be read to suggest that the entire series took place inside the brain of a minor character a young autistic boy named Tommy Westfall in opposed to titled six degrees of st.
elsewhere comic writer Dwayne McDuffie explains that this could mean most if not nearly all of television had taken was taking and would continue to take place in Tommy’s brain he writes if saying elsewhere played by the rules of comics either they wouldn’t have been allowed to do it or they would have precipitated a crisis in TV land far bloodier than DC Comics crisis on Infinite Earths why because crossover wise st.
elsewhere is the Kevin Bacon of TV shows end quote how so well if Tommy imagined nearly everything about st.
elsewhere including the people and those people show up on other programs doesn’t it stand to reason that those programs are also imagined by Tommy Westfall this theory says yep now what you might say is okay sure but how many people meaning characters not actors are going to show up in other TV shows how many crossovers could there possibly be I hope you are watching this in your car but parked safe and completely stationary just so that you can literally buckle in one central and very important crossover takes place when alfre woodard who plays st.
elsewheres dr.

With everything that is going on around the world, we all need some entertainment. WWE decided to host Wrestlemania 36 with no crowd whatsoever this time. Will it work?
Kick-Off Show
As it is usual with WWE Pay-Per-Views, we get a one-hour pre-show where we get to hear about what’s coming to our screens. As well, it brings at least one match. For Wrestlemania 36, that match was:
Drew Gulak vs Cesaro
The first match of of Wrestlemania is a match between two technicians. In a super quick match without too much to offer, Cesaro ended up coming out as a winner.
Main Show
We start Wrestlemania 36 with the inspiring words of Stephanie McMahon, explaining that this time around, the show won’t have fans. It will be completely different to anything we’ve seen before. Thanking fans for following, and welcoming us to this event with short videos of the many celebrities who have opened the Greatest Stage of them All throughout the years.
Now we jump to a cinematic experience for the show’s intro. Epic. There’s no other way to describe it. I came with low expectations, but this intro literally cheered me up and got me excited about the show. Amazing job, WWE designers.
Women’s Tag Team Championship: Kabuki Warriors vs Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross
We have to admit two different things here: the lack of crowd severely impacts the hype of the match and wrestlers have to work twice as hard to try and make it look dynamic. Listening to the ref and wrestlers and what they say to each other is super interesting.
I also have to say this: I hate the way Asuka’s character has shifted from being the badest of them all, to whatever it is they are trying to do with her now. That dancing is just not fun at all, and I don’t want to see a “fun” Asuka, I want to see the Quee of Strong Style back which was undefeated for so long back in her NXT time.
We see some great teamwork for the Kabuki Warriors, acting their heel roles to perfection. Sadly, there was a second where the ref hesitated and didn’t hit the 3-count in favor of Nikki Cross, as he gave 1 additional second for Kairi to “break” the pin from the top of the corner. It was a 3-count, but he stopped. Disappointing.
youtube
In the end, Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss won when Alexa hit a Twisted Bliss to the legs of Kairi to “knock” her out and get the 3-count. What a miss!
Baron Corbin vs Elias
We’re used to listen to Elias whenever he is performing for a match before the bell rings. This time we have to listen to King Corbin trash talk about how he destroyed Elias during the previous SmackDown show. I personally prefer to listen to Elias.
Before the ref could start counting, Elias appeared and King Corbin tried to attack him outside the ring, but Elias busted his guitar on Corbin’s back before the match officially started.
Mid-match, what I was mentioning before: Kind Corbin yells at Michael Cole and JBL at the announce table ordering them to say how great of a wrestler he is. This is the kind of dynamic that they are forced to go to due to the crowd’s absence. So far, it has been somewhat working.
When Corbin was about to win using the ropes to his advantage, the ref caught him and Elias put him in a pin count to win the match.
RAW Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch vs Shayna Baszler
This is a long-time coming match. One of the most anticipated matches of Wrestlemania 36 for sure. We see the preview and how Shayna got here by defeating literally everyone she faced at the Elimination Chamber match. That is scary.
As soon as the match started, we knew we were in for something great. It became really physical, really quick. Good thing about the crowdless-arena is that we can hear every punch, every kick and every single move. It sounds brutal.
During the entire match, Baszler dominated Becky, but when Baszler’s finisher appeared, Becky rolled and got the 3-count to retain the title, in a match that had another one of those super fake endings. Sadly.
Intercontinental Championship: Daniel Bryan vs Sami Zayn
Really slow start for the match with Sami doing a classic Sami. He is the champion, but plays the underdog, even accompanied by Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura. Seeing Sami doing a Mayweather on Daniel Bryan isn’t entertaining, it is boring. Even after the running ended, Sami didn’t even try to fight and became a boxing bag for Daniel Bryan.
Not only is Bryan dominating in the fight, he is also verbally abusing Sami on a way that makes this actually fun to watch now. But it didn’t last long as Nakamura and Cesaro played a diversion and Sami hit a single, badly hit, “Helluva Kick” on Bryan to retain the belt. Awful ending, as it has been consistent during the whole PPV this far.
SmackDown Tag Team Championship: Kofi Kingston vs Jimmy Uso vs John Morrison
This might as well be the best match of the event. A triple threat ladder match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship belts with 3 of the most athletic and innovative wrestlers. I have huge hopes for this match to steal the show.
Morrison is certainly showing why is it that he comes as the champion. His parkour-like moves are badass, I’m just missing the crowd’s reaction to them right now. Kofi, applying a “leaping-flying hurracarana” to Morrison shows why I was excited about this match.
Lots and lots of highlights in this match. Amazing synergy from the three of them. But when Morrison had the clear chance to get the belts, he took all the time in the world, stupidly, before going for them. That gave Kofi and Jimmy time to recover when they were out of the match. Of course, we “wanted” to see a highlight with all 3 close to getting them belts.
In an unexpected ending, though, Morrison retained, by accident. This was AWWEEEEEEESOME!
Kevin Owens vs Seth Rollins
Whoever came up with the “Monday Night Messiah” did a great job. They wanted a heel, and I hate this gimmick. There’s no possible way I’m able to root any more for Kevin Owens to defeat Rollins.
Owens certainly comes with all the aggression he needs; however, Rollins is just 3 steps ahead every single time. Trash talk in this match is great.
Match isn’t that entertaining, though. Seth Rollins goes out of the ring, takes the bell and hits Owens with it to lose the match by disqualification.
Kevin Owens asks him to come back in a No DQ match now and Rollins is on fire, again. Kevin Owens is just not able to defend himself and Seth Rollins is ready to destroy Owens now. Rollins hits Owens with the steel steps, with a chair. Owens counters with the bell and ends up jumping from the Wrestlemania board to break the announce table with Rollins’ body. This is the highlight of the night so far.
Universal Championship: Braun Strowman vs Goldberg
We start with 3 spears from Goldberg, Strowman breaks the pin count at 2 and a half, gets a fourth spear. Strowman hits 3 powerslams. Hits his finisher and we have a new Universal Champion. Lackluster. Not what I expected to happen for Strowman to be champ. I’m happy, but disappointed.

This one has a meme vibe to it for some reason…
Boneyard Match: Undertaker vs AJ Styles
We see a car coming into a graveyard. It is AJ Styles arriving. Now, Undertaker appears, but not as the King of Darkness, he comes in as the American Badass! This is amazing. There’s a lot of trash talk here and a lot of people might be surprised to hear Undertaker’s voice.
This isn’t a wrestling match. This is pure entertainment and the production behind it is perfect. I don’t care about anything other than the story that they are showing.
Undertaker destroyed AJ only for friends Gallows and Anderson to start helping. There’s fake monks coming out to attack Taker too! This is amazing, I feel like this is a movie, and I am loving it!

Not giving away the details about this production. I’m showing you.
From this point forward, I need more of this. This is entertaining, this is amazing.
Overall an interesting first night for Wrestlemania 36, awful matches’ endings mostly. High points are the Triple Threat Ladder Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships and the Boneyard Match. It didn’t feel tiring since it is a lot shorter than previous years, and this format should be kept from now on.
Stay with us for tomorrow’s matches.
#Wrestlemania 36 Night #1 Results & Analysis With everything that is going on around the world, we all need some entertainment. WWE decided to host Wrestlemania 36 with no crowd whatsoever this time.
