Now that I have managed to properly put into my own thoughts and feelings on reload and these new canon materials. My post does contain spoilers for some of the materials, so be warned if you are actively playing through reload.
CANON TO MY PORTRAYAL.
The hangout events with male party members will be acknowledge, since they don't conflict with other past materials thankfully.
(an update to an old Headcanon) In the topic of Ryoji's social link and the whole confession that he give to Minato. I am still keeping it, in one of my oldest headcanon, I had said that Minato would realize he's bi/pan after spending time with Ryoji but never confess his feelings to him (alongside his romantic feeling for aigis). I am still keeping that, even when Ryoji confesses his feelings to him. He does go from being shock at first, but as anyone who has played / watched. The two get interrupted by Fuuka, so he didn't get to give Ryoji a proper answer and unfortunately he never goes through with giving Ryoji an answer, due to the news of who Ryoji is and what will be happening within a month.
Minato never bump into Takaya, I was really disappointed with how reload handled it. I felt that It didn't add much into the grand schema of things. I thought that maybe it'll be almost to the same level as adachi's social link, so I was disappointed when that wasn't the case. I simply don't think it's worth it for my character's portrayal.
The new OST reload has, will be acknowledge too, alongside the original OST. The only difference, is that he may prefer one version of a song over another but overall he may be seen talking about them or listen to them.
With the topic of the new gear S.E.E.S receive. I debated over it whether or not I will accept them into my portrayal, I don't dislike them anymore, as I had gotten used to them when I playing the game. However, after thinking over it more, they didn't bring much to the table in term of lore. ( It was clear, they were there to give a new gameplay like P5R had going with the show time. ) Cause of it, I'm not going to accept it into my canon.

Yan!Sunday isn't someone who likes the spotlight.
I mean, it's obvious, even his normal character seems to be one that works behind the scenes, pulling taut strings until they snap one by one.
But Yan!Sunday leaves no exception, even when it comes to adoration.
The frequent visits you somehow always manage to make, scrounging up money from who knows where to afford all those tickets to Robin's concerts, meet-ups, fancalls, etc.. it's cute. Your devotion is almost admirable. Robin starts to recognize you more as a friend or acquaintance than a superfan, which is a great feat for someone like you – a measly fan who managed to get through from constant meetings and relying on a superstar's memory.
It isn't a surprise when you're invited by The Oak Family to Penacony for the Charmony festival, when it arrives. Imprompt shows, coincidental fan meetings as both Sunday and Robin work for the festival eventually leads you and Sunday to meet. It's almost unfortunate for you, things go awry at the last moment. Ticket prices soar the moment you reload the page, the line brutally cuts off right before you for the autograph signing, and the cameras just don't work whenever you want a photo.. it's comical to Sunday, in a way.
Of course, just as it is his responsibility to look after his sister, he talks to you, subtly scrutinizing your body language for any suspicion. It's not uncommon for creeps to appear in Robin's huge audience. He manages to flag you clear, however, when you talk about her in such a lively and innocent manner. It's almost as if you'd been her childhood friend. Something about it is so endearing to Sunday.
Hmm.. since he's taken such a liking to you, why not let him help you out a bit? You may have not been able to scrounge the money for Robin's new concert at the last minute, but don't worry, he can take you backstage, and let you see her performance from a completely different angle. He's family, he can get you to many more places than your fan-title. Soft chuckling as you mention almost losing your ticket because the page decided to glitch at that very moment, you just had to go bankrupt during the payment, and your phone ran out of battery that moment you were in the middle of one of Robin's best performances. It's cute. Spend some more time with him, too, won't you? He's a brother of hers, surely you'd be interested in knowing him, too?
Secret entries to Robin's backstage or VIP rooms turn into imprompt escapades, playfully and softly laughing as he leads you with a firm grasp of your hand somewhere peaceful, a large contrast to Robin's bustling concerts. The night air is cool, serene and quiet, much like Sunday. The night falls and remains in darkness to let the stars shine brighter. And Sunday tells you this over a quiet moment between you two. He never liked the spotlight, bustling crowds, loud noises.. people.
Unfortunately, your meetings came to an abrupt halt. At least.. it was unfortunate for Sunday. Your eyes always lit up at the end of the night, being able to meet Robin and talk about just how amazing her performance was, how happy you are with the opportunity to meet her again, and that you're so glad she remembers you. The spotlight belonged to his sister, and he was more than happy to let her have it.
But.. if it meant your eyes were for hers, it just never settled in him well.
Surely, there was a single admirer for the darkness of the night sky? The vast, velvety black expanse that held stars with the edge of it's fingertips? A single one.
His entire sky craved you.
And.. well, his sister has everything, doesn't she? She's quite generous too, like you said. Perhaps she'll help him out, just this once?
Suddenly, all your VIP tickets seemed to no longer matter. Shifted to waiting rooms where Sunday just so happened to be, backstages were empty and almost desolate, Sunday being the only "staff member" there, guiding you with his familiar firm grip on your hand, always back to that place where he shared that quiet moment with you.
The moments only got quieter and longer, however.
Sunday took notice of it, far before you did. Awkward, polite laughing trailing off into poorly hidden disappointment, the stuttering of your tongue as you try not to mention Robin again, the polite smile on his face telling you it's okay to start over, but never stop trying. The constant, slow push towards him instead of your favorite singer, seemed to only cause a repulsion between you two. He was extremely bitter about it.
Of course, he wouldn't dare take it out on sweet Robin. She's just an amazing singer, he doesn't dare blame her – she's admirable in many ways. But Robin doesn't miss the undertone bitterness that carries the flow of your name on his tongue.
Eventually – Robin stops meeting you. She stops looking at you in the crowds. She refuses autographs, fancalls, etc..
It does break your heart. A little.
Why don't you go to Sunday? He's family after all. He can help you reach closer. The walk to where she is, is not that long. Accompany him for a while, will you? Let him keep the firm grip of his hand in yours. He'll fix everything.
And when your excited face morphs into disappointment once again, as both of you fail to find her after her concert is just perfect. Let him comfort you, hm? He's very understanding.. and quiet. He listens to you so well. Perhaps.. being with Sunday isn't as bad as you thought? Maybe.. instead of searching for Robin over and over, you'd like to spend time with him instead. No one can comfort you better than Family, right?

So, I don't have a "next" button anymore. Not on mobile, not on a different browser, not with extensions turned off, nowhere! The arrow keys don't work, either. Absolutely hilarious this happened directly under a post about the new update lmao.
even though my tumblr updated, I've got a tab open that still has the old layout and I'm clinging to it for dear life...like desperately clutching sand as a tidal wave comes in. 💀

HOW TO BLOCK YOUTUBE ADS WITH UBLOCK
UBlock Origin is my best friend, if you're tired of getting ads, or getting blocked by youtubes ad blocker, you should TOTALLY use it. It's open source and trustworthy (which means its not owned by a corporation, its made by a bunch of freelance devs). They have extensions for Chrome, Firefox, and presumably most browsers. I'll be showing the chrome version in this post.
Tumblr media
Clicking here or on the equivalent button for your browser should take you to your browser's UBlock extension.
Tumblr media
Click this button to install, it will likely say "Add to Chrome" for you.
Any new websites you load up should be AD-FREE.
If you're still experiencing problems with youtube, or suddenly it stops working, its because youtube has changed their adblock-blocking algorithm (they change it every 12 hours to a few days), but this can be easily fixed!
Tumblr media
Click on the extension, and head to the options page. Go to the "Filter lists" tab of the setting page in the top left.
Tumblr media
Click on "uBlock filters - Quick fixes" on the third icon. This is usually a small clock, or this little warning symbol. After clicking this, click on "Update now".
Now if you reload your youtube page, your adblocker should work.
Although, UBlock's quick fixes doesn't work alongside other adblockers very well, so I recommend uninstalling those if youtube is still blocking you.
If reloading this doesn't work, that means that youtube has uploaded a brand new adblocker-blocker, but that means someone on UBlock's dev team is likely already hard at work fixing it. This only happens rarely, I've only seen it twice in over 500 youtube videos I've watched.

Authors note: I thought I was going to finish the series with this episode, but I wanted to go into more detail, so I’m adding one more episode 🥰 I’m not sure if it will meet your expectations since I had writer’s block, but at least it’s out now. Enjoy!🖤
Word count: 3,4K
Warnings: 18+ angst, lots of blood, insults.
All shook up
Part 9
The deafening roar of the gunshot filled the room, the sound reverberated violently. For a moment, it felt like time had stopped. Beside me, the police officer standing behind Angelica suddenly crumpled to the ground. To my horror, a pool of blood began to form underneath him.
Suddenly, the room filled with a chorus of gunfire, echoing and bouncing off the walls in a violent symphony. Bullets rained down like a metallic storm, sparks flying as they hit the ground. People scattered, diving behind whatever furniture they could find, their faces filled with the primal instinct to fight or die.
Angelica flashed a sly smile as she let out a mocking comment about Elvis' failure to hit her. "Great at singing," she purred, "but let's say your aim isn’t your thing huh?" Despite her jesting tone, her eyes were deadly serious as she fired towards Elvis.
Elvis' expression was grave as he cautiously moved towards me, “Next time I promise ya I won’t miss the shot” he said while shooting and ducking behind a pillar momentarily to reload his weapon. Despite the danger around him, his focus was solely on reaching me, firing sporadically in Angelica's direction as he edged closer.
Two men began to flank Elvis, intending to take him down. But he was prepared, and quickly began to defend himself.
Using both fists, he pounded the man on his left, while simultaneously delivering a harsh kick to the man on his right. With a swift motion, he twisted the left man's arms, disarming him before turning and firing both guns at the man on the right, followed by another quickly approaching foe.
Elvis moved through the chaos with a grace that seemed almost surreal. It was as if the battlefield was his natural habitat, and his movements were like a well-practised dance, his reflexes lightning-fast. I watched in awe, having never expected to see such elegance amid violence.
The entire Memphis Mafia was in action, working in tandem to rescue Alex and me. On one hand, Joe and Red fought side by side, with a knowing smile playing on their faces as they took down anyone who dared to come near. On the other hand, Billy was struggling, sporting a cut on his eyebrow and an increasingly swollen face, but Sonny was there to cover for him, taking out several more adversaries. Meanwhile, Jerry fired from the car window with a more powerful weapon, while Charlie skillfully drove the car, running over anyone who stood in their way.
Guilt weighed heavily on me as I took in the situation around me. If I hadn’t gotten involved with Elvis, none of this would have occurred. No one would be hurt, and Elvis himself would be safe, rather than dodging bullets. The weight of my actions was impossible to ignore.
The newspaper pages on the floor began to get wet and puddle. The white color of the walls gradually tinged red, and the room started to have that acidic and metallic smell characteristic of blood.
Angelica's frustration and rage intensified as she scanned the room, seeing her men falling one by one. Gasping with hatred, she began firing at Elvis without pausing, quickly switching to a new firearm each time hers ran out of bullets, grabbing them from the corpses around her.
"Elvis, watch out!" My voice rang out, warning him.
But my cry barely left my mouth before Angélica turned in my direction, her eyes ablaze with anger. "SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH!" she roared, her fist connecting hard with my face.
The distress and helplessness in Elvis's eyes was palpable as he watched Angelica strike me. Suddenly, another man unleashed a powerful blow to Elvis's stomach, leaving him gasping and fighting to stay on his feet.
Taking advantage of Elvis's vulnerability, Angelica quickly moved towards him and without a moment of hesitation, she lifted her weapon, aiming for his head.
Everything happened so quickly that I could hardly take it in. All I saw was Elvis' glasses flying through the air as he fell back to the ground.
My heart seemed to stop. This couldn't be real.
I trembled as I heard Elvis' men shouting his name. The worst part was that from where I was, I couldn't see his face. All I could make out was his feet and his motionless body.
“Did-Did I blow his brains out?” Angelica asked, her gaze lost on his body, a crazed smile on her face.
Angelica's expression grew more and more frustrated. She was at a loss about how to proceed, desperate to get rid of everyone around her. It didn't matter if Priscilla got angry with her later; she just wanted this chaos to end.
A collective gasp of disbelief filled the room as Elvis suddenly stirred. Sitting up, he instinctively covered one side of his face with his hand. Removing it, he looked at his bloody palm, realizing that the bullet had only grazed his temple.
Breathing heavily, Elvis wiped the blood from his temple with a quick motion, and a manic smile spread across his face.
With his expression dark and sinister, he slowly approached Angelica, each step taken with cold determination. "And you wanna talk ‘bout aim?" he said, his voice dripping with menace, his lips curled in a wicked smile.
Angelica froze in place. Joe and Red started shooting in her direction, and she tried to quickly take cover, moving away from me.
Elvis’s expression at that moment was unlike anything I had ever seen. It sent chills down my spine. Several men moved in to tackle him, but Elvis began to fight them hand-to-hand in a relentless manner. He quickly dispatched them. One. Two. Three men eliminated in one go. He glanced right, then left, and struck. It seemed like his strength had increased; he trembled with adrenaline and at that moment resembled a beast ready to rip their heads off. His karate movements were precise and lethal.
I felt a surge of relief upon seeing Elvis very much alive. I was so relieved that when I heard a gunshot near me, I was taken by surprise. It was Jerry, breaking my handcuffs with a shot and swiftly putting me in the car with Alex, taking advantage of the fact that Angelica was far away.
As I sat inside the car, I noticed that Alex was beginning to stir and regain consciousness. But things took a turn for the worse as Angelica realized what was happening and began shooting at Jerry, trying to prevent us from escaping in the car.
One of the bullets hit Jerry's shoulder, causing Joe and Red to come to their senses in shock and order a hasty retreat. It was clear they were outnumbered now and without Jerry, things were looking dire.
"Elvis! Elvis! We've got them! Time to go!" Joe called out with urgency.
But Elvis didn't seem to hear anything. He continued to fight with a ferocious rage that consumed him, completely focused on ending this once and for all. His once-black clothes were now saturated with blood, and half of his face was stained a deep red.
Red moved closer to Elvis, ready to lead him to the car, but Elvis lashed out with a punch, which Red swiftly dodged.
"Elvis, we have to go!" Red implored as he fired shots to cover Elvis. "Jerry's been shot. Staying here is a death sentence."
Elvis snapped back to reality upon hearing Red's words. His expression shifted from a slasher's fierce determination to one of immediate concern. After a brief moment of hesitation, he decided to run with Red and the others towards the car.
Everyone quickly jumped into the car, taking their places. I did my best to apply pressure to Jerry's gunshot wound on his shoulder, trying to stem the bleeding. When Sonny got into the car, he immediately checked on me, and took over the task of caring for Jerry.
Elvis was the last to enter the car, dodging bullets as he made his way in. Charlie wasted no time; he had already slammed his foot on the gas pedal, and the car shot off in a hurry to escape the crossfire.
"Dammit!" Elvis exhaled, his breath shaky and labored, as he looked at Jerry's injury. His hands were slick with sweat, and he clenched his fists tightly in frustration. Elvis wanted nothing more than to catch Angelica and make her pay for the chaos and pain she had caused.
A moment of silence fell over us as Elvis looked ahead and our eyes met. The sounds of gunshots, shouts, and the screeching of tires all faded into the background. Without hesitation, we quickly embraced tightly as if years had passed since we last saw each other. I was completely enveloped by him, smeared with blood and sweat, but it didn’t matter in the slightest. He held me firmly against his chest in a tight hug, and I could feel his heart thumping rapidly, as if it might burst from his chest at any moment.
"Oh God, darlin’, ya okay? Are you hurt?" Elvis said with a tone of desperation as he grabbed my face in his trembling hands.
As I started to sob, I managed to say through tears, "I'm okay. I'm just so glad you're here and you're alive."
Elvis started to kiss me urgently, covering my face in kisses, as if he was trying to convince himself that I was truly there and unharmed.
The car fell into a nervous silence as everyone tried to catch their breath, exchanging anxious glances. They were happy to see Elvis and me together, but the adrenaline and tension hadn't dissipated just yet. Joe sported fresh cuts on his face; Red was drenched in sweat, checking out some bruises on his arm; and poor Billy looked as though he had been hit by a truck, his face swollen and battered. Elvis held me tightly, his grip firm as we continued on our journey, the only sound being the hum of the car's engine.
Sonny looked at Jerry as he finished bandaging his shoulder, concern etched in his features.
"How ya holdin' up?" he asked, his voice steady yet empathetic.
"I'll live," Jerry grunted, wincing as Sonny tightened the bandage. "Just gotta get that damn bullet out and some stitches, and I'll be right as rain."
Alex began to stir again, his senses slowly returning, but his speech was still somewhat incoherent. He seemed disoriented and not quite fully conscious.
"Shhh, it's okay, buddy. You're safe now," Elvis whispered, patting Alex's cheek. The rest of the guys glanced over worriedly as Alex mumbled incoherently, struggling to regain full awareness.
Red noticed my concerned expression and the way my eyes lingered on Alex. "We should make sure they get medical attention. I can handle that" he said, addressing Elvis.
"Headin' to the only hospital in Las Vegas would be a risky move. Angelica could find us there in a heartbeat. Not to mention, innocent folks' lives would be on the line. It's just too dangerous, we’re back at the International and call in some surgeons" Elvis replied firmly.
"Are you outta your damn mind?" Joe chimed in, his scepticism was evident. "You think Angelica doesn't know every inch of the International like the back of her hand? She ain't gonna let us walk in there without causin' a helluva lotta trouble."
"We've still got the cops up our asses, the whole place is crawling with investigators. With a little help from the Colonel and the police force, we can lock down that building tight if we have to." Elvis retorted.
Red voiced a suggestion "We could always head out to Memphis on the Lisa Marie. We'd be much safer there."
"But Jerry's been shot in the damn shoulder. How long will it take us to get there?" Elvis pointed out, considering the urgency of the situation.
Sonny nodded in agreement, acknowledging the gravity of the situation. "He's right" he said quietly. "We can't take any chances with Jerry's health. The longer we wait, the riskier it gets."
Elvis took charge and spoke to Charlie, his voice firm: "Alright, Charlie, you heard me, man. Head towards the International."
Billy, with his swollen face and sitting in the front seat, strained to adjust the rearview mirror, his movements clumsy due to the injuries on his face. Meanwhile, the sound of tyres screeching grew louder.
Suddenly, Elvis began to hug me tighter. When I looked at his face, he had a distant look and a tense jaw.
"Elvis...?" I asked.
"She’s behind us, ain’t she?" Elvis asked, gripping tightly the door handle.
A murmur started among Elvis’s men.
“This ends now” Elvis said, releasing himself from my arms and grabbing a rifle from under the seat. He opened the car’s sunroof and leaned his body out through it.
Elvis scanned his surroundings, evaluating every movement and building they passed. He knew they were nearing the final confrontation.
Charlie drove the car through side streets where there were no people and they could easily maneuver.
Elvis steadied the rifle in his hands, his eyes fixed on the other car. His expression was filled with a steely resolve, his determination unwavering. They had fought too hard to let themselves be stopped now.
The confrontation was brief but intense. As they took the last turn of the street before reaching the International, Elvis fired with precision, aiming for the enemy vehicle’s tyres.
Bullets struck Angelica’s car, forcing it to swerve. The sound of gunfire echoed through the street.
As they approached the International, Elvis spotted a large group of police officers aiming guns in their direction. For a moment, he thought they were Angelica’s men, which would mean trouble.
It was then that he saw Doris with Vernon, Marty, Mark, and the Colonel standing beside them. Doris had done it; she had managed to inform the police department of everything, ready to neutralize Angelica.
Angelica's car came to a grinding halt, tires deflated and billowing smoke. She stumbled out of the vehicle, a desperate look in her eyes.
Instantly, Elvis and his men emerged from the car, their weapons trained at Angelica and her crew. Angelica's eyes widened as she realized the dire situation she was in. There were no escape routes. She was completely cornered.
Elvis stepped forward, his once-styled hair now a disheveled mess, matted to his forehead with sweat that mixed with traces of dried blood. Despite his unkempt appearance, he held his weapon firmly, his demeanor remaining calm as he approached Angelica with purposeful strides.
Angelica, now completely unhinged, began discharging her gun wildly, her aim less precise as she yelled out obscene curses.
She screamed hysterically, her hands trembling with anger and adrenaline, “FUCK YOU, ELVIS, AND YOUR DAMN WIFE, YOU SON OF A..."
Elvis showed no hesitation as he fired precisely and calmly, his aim true and unwavering. He hit his target with a swift and cold precision, shooting directly into one of Angelica's legs. He had no intention to end her life. He wanted her to suffer, to spend the rest of her days in a jail cell, enduring the most awful torment that prison had to offer.
Angelica collapsed to the ground, clutching her wounded leg in pain. Her face contorted in agony, tears welling up in her eyes, but she gritted her teeth in an attempt to remain defiant. "You bastard!" she hissed with pain and anger in her voice.
Elvis moved closer to Angelica with deliberate, slow steps, his gaze fixed on hers. His voice held a hint of triumph as he said, "I told ya I wouldn't fail this time." As he spoke, the agents rushed forward, putting handcuffs on Angelica and taking her away to be arrested.
Doris, visibly excited by the successful outcome of the operation, hurried towards Elvis, exclaiming, "Well done, Mr. Presley! We did it!"
Elvis nodded, a sense of relief and dissipation of tension slowly taking over. He answered with a sincere and grateful smile, "Thank you, Doris. Without your help, we couldn't have done it. You're incredibly brave."
Everyone gathered around Elvis, their concern and curiosity prompting them to ask questions and ensure he was okay.
Watching from the car, I found it hard to process what had just happened. I felt a combination of relief and pity. Was it really over? At the same time, I sympathized with Angelica, trying to understand the depth of her hate that had brought her to this point. In a few minutes, she was gone, taken away in a police car and disappearing at the end of the street.
The rest of the day passed with statements to the police, paperwork, and medical care for Jerry. Alex was gradually recovering. As quickly as Elvis’s men had taken him to the hospital with Jerry, he was discharged. I didn’t have a chance to talk to him and thank him for everything, but I decided to do it once he was fully recovered.
Having sorted out the chaos and ensured security, Elvis and I found ourselves back at the International. As we walked through the hotel corridors, Elvis's face showed signs of exhaustion but also a sense of relief.
Elvis cracked a tired smile and broke the silence. "Ya know," he mused, a hint of amusement in his voice, "I gotta admit, I found it downright hilarious when Angelica lost her marbles and called ya ‘my wife’ today" He opened the suite door, and we stepped inside.
I nodded in agreement, a nervous smile on my face, replying, "Yeah, I guess she’d see us as a couple or something... It does seem like she’s taken it quite personally."
Elvis nodded and hummed, his lips curling into a smirk. He played with our hands as he spoke, his eyes focused on them. “We ain’t really talked about this, have we?”
“About what?” I asked, my heart pounding faster with each beat. I knew exactly what he was hinting at, but I craved to hear the words straight from his lips. I wasn't sure if what I was about to hear would be good or bad news.
Elvis took off his blood-stained jacket and let it fall onto a nearby chair. He sighed deeply, releasing all the tension built up during the day. Through the opening of his shirt, his body still glowed with sweat, with a few bruises as medals from that fight.
“Never mind honey. We’ll chew it over tomorrow when we’re rested. For now, I just wanna kiss ya and be close.” Elvis declared, then he took me by the waist and pulled me towards him, embracing me tightly. “If I’d lost ya today, I don’t know how I would’ve handled it.”
His gentle touch and the warmth of his presence enveloped me, providing a sense of safety. Elvis loosened his embrace to tenderly caress my face, his gaze searching mine. His expression was filled with tenderness as he drew closer to me.
“I wouldn’t have been able to bear losing you either,” I said, in a moment of bravery, getting lost in the blue of his eyes.
As I said that, Elvis focused his gaze on my lips. Feeling his hands on both sides of my face and his thumbs stroking my cheeks, his plushy lips met mine. We melted into the warmest kiss we had ever had.
That kiss sent a wave of ecstasy through my whole body. As he kissed me, Elvis let go of one hand from my face to slowly trace down my back, making that caress send shivers down my spine.
I longed for the feel of his lips on mine, the touch of his fingers against my skin. It seemed I had developed a profound addiction to his very presence, the alluring scent of his cologne, and the natural essence of his body. I found myself captivated by his charming smile, the endearing dips in his cheeks, and the profound sense of care and concern he showered upon me.
As we slowly dissolved into one another, Elvis methodically began undressing me with gentle, deliberate motions. Each movement set off a new wave of sensations within me, and at that very moment, we were acutely aware of every response our bodies made to one another. I could feel his warm breath caressing my nose, his tongue dancing and entwining with mine, and the slight brush of his arm hair against the raised bumps on my exposed skin as he lifted my shirt...
Little did we know that during this moment of passion, Priscilla was slowly approaching from the bathroom, tears streaming down her face, quietly aiming a gun at us.
Need to recap? Part 8 here

Love when you see a good post and you follow it back to the blog it came from only to discover that the original post is 5 years old & this person blogs about entirely different stuff now & you suddenly find yourself scrolling through pages of awesome fanart for something you've never heard of, lovingly crafted text posts that are completely incomprehensible to you, & gif sets of some guy you vaguely remember one of your mutuals salivating over a few months back, and you think to yourself that the tumblr ecosystem is truly beautiful & diverse. And then you return to your dashboard & it reloads & sends you back to where you started an hour ago.

Keirr character discussion / breakdown
• The egotistical prick • The Aira hater • The deciever
Tumblr media
- Quick author note: I’m going to be doing something slightly different, where I basically read the scenes that involved Keirr and leave a tag afterwords of pages I am going over. This will at least give you opportunity to read along with me and understand my breakdowns a little better.
- Another note: I am always using the Tumblr mobile app, so I apologize if my documents look rather funky on the computer version. I am trying to spruce them up and make them look at least somewhat good lol.
- Final note: I will be going over “Asmundr” Keirr, only a little bit though, mainly for his background. Other than that, I am focusing on “Home” Keirr. Now let’s get into it!
-
What I will be going over:
- What we know of Keirr’s history
- How he suddenly went from sweet and family oriented. Then turned into an egotistical jerk off, who stopped prioritizing family.
- A little on his personality
-
- Early History
In Keirrs early history, we know that he was born around the middle of Kiques 1st comic, Asmundr. And let me tell you, this fool has changed designs like.. 5 different times.
Ahem, anyway. Keirr is shown as the more “mature” one, compared to Rhov. In Asmundr, it is shown that he is a “decent” hunter, while him and his brother work on deer hides. He is even more reasonably suspicious than Rhov, when Jahla enters the scene and tackles Rhovanion.
When the war between Ranulfr and the Asmundr pack hit, Keirr was pretty useful and followed instructions well. Near the end of the war, you could tell he was tired of having to kill the Shield wolves, but he continued to kill. And really, that about sums up Keirrs story in Asmundr. Obviously, the first comic wasn’t about the offspring, like Home is. So I can’t really follow up with much, in “Asmundr” Keirr.
-
- Read along breakdown:
Now, we’ll be going over “Home” Keirr.
Two years had passed since “Asmundr”, so I feel the rest of this information does not qualify for Keirrs early history section.
Too begin.. Keirr and his family are dropped off on Aedra, they are not given a time limit of how long this lasts. All they know is, father will return at some point. Until then, they all make do and continue with their lives.
Keirr is still shown to be the more mature / family oriented guy. As everyone else decides to explore Aedra and see what they can find, Keirr decides to stay back with the Asmundr pack. Keirr at least retains his personality, for now, from Asmundr.( Page 8. Can also be seen on page 104. )
Then came the time when Zilas died, Keirr was the one to discover him first. Of course, he took it pretty hard considering that he grew up with Zilas and saw him as a brother. Of course, a lot of those crucial bonding moments us readers need are shown “off-screen”. It was never truly shown how close Keirr and Zilas were. ( Page 127 - 128 )
Fast forward to the time he discovered Aira, this is when things get juicy. For a while, Keirr was not Kiques priority and he did not make a real, solid appearance for a few chapters, up until page 138. This is when Kique decides Keirr needs a fucked up “Home” style arc next.
Keirr is seen carrying a torch, probably out mourning his loss I’d imagine.. Otherwise, idk why tf he is out late, or seen / helping anyone bury Zilas? This was the time when night beasts were a thing. Anyway! He is caught off guard by a voice, who comes from Aira, hiding. Keirr still retains his suspicious behavior, like in Asmundr and asks her to come closer, for the fire he is carrying. To his surprise, he is greeted with a badly wounded dog. Reasonably, he asks Aira if she was attacked by a feline, probably trying to see if she is the reason Zilas is dead. Quickly, his suspicions are cleared and he offers her help. ( Page 138 - 139 )
Suddenly, in video game reloading fashion, Keirr spawns at camp with Rhov and Jahla. Where the hell did Aira go? Anyway, I like that Keirr called out Rhov and Jahla for trying to throw blame around on anyone they could, for Zilas’s death. And then looking down at them, like a disappointed father. Thankfully, he is still retaining his personality at this point. I have to say though, it is interesting that Keirr decides to care for Aira alone and not bring her back to the Asmundr pack. Knowing his suspicious behavior, this might have been the better option for him. ( Page 140 - 141 )
We are then shown Keirr and Aira at her den. Keirr is definitely shown as more able bodied than Aira and attempts to help her up, when he realizes she can’t make it up on her own. His so far suspicious behavior remains intact, when he realizes her den has an odd amount of space for one dog; especially one of her size. He even tries to wiggle in some questions for her, but to no avail. He leaves Aira with supplies and is even kind enough to give her a knife and hide a hare nearby for her. ( Page 151 - 152 )
A few hours had passed, seemingly it looks like Aira tracked Keirr down and sat down with him. Keirr then opens up a little bit about Zilas and his family. The odd part for me is that, he is shown to be a family oriented guy, you’d imagine he’d want to mourn with his family? But I suppose he would rather want to mourn alone, for some odd reason. Kique tends to do a lot of important things “off-screen.” Anyway, instead of going back to his family, he chooses to mourn with a stranger. Which to me is slightly out of character of him. ( Page 160 - 161 )
A day or so later passes and suddenly Keirr is an expert in physical therapy. This scene from him looks promising, until he joins up with Whispervale. More on that later. Keirr helps Aira jump over a log and help regain her mobility. Then he decides it’s time to go back to his family, in the middle of such a primary moment? Aira then runs up and kisses him to stop him from leaving. Then he subtly gloats at her about how he is her “only chance of survival”, I mean what a nice thing to say lol. I feel this is when Keirr starts acting out of character, but it isn’t super noticeable yet. I’m also not quite sure why he said she couldn’t join the pack, Kainan would have saw no problem with it? Then he contradicts himself by saying he’ll continue taking care of her, but can’t leave his family to care for a stranger, all in the same breath? What? lol. ( Page 197 - 199 )
Keirr then finally discovers that the Asmundr pack is no longer there. Also, it’s kind of funny how it foreshadows the reindeer being dead in the fourth panel, but magically they’re still alive when Ronja gives them to the Deer humpers. Not only this, but it’s way too soon for the Reindeer to leave behind bones? Or why didn’t Keirr notice them while he visited the territory? Another plot hole lol. ( Page 226 )
Then Keirr suddenly decides he wants to go back to Aira, even after being a subtle dick to her. He notices that she is no longer in the vicinity and begins looking for her instead. Contradicting himself again, because he just told her he wouldn’t leave his family for a stranger. So why does he choose to go after Aira instead and not start looking for his family? Hm. ( Page 235 )
At least Keirr was nice enough to go searching for her.. But he comes across her re-possessing herself with the monster she was previously. Aira explains that she can’t survive without it. Keirr added salt to that wound by saying previously, he was her only chance of survival and then dipping out on her. Reasonably though, Keirr stops her from completing the ritual. Once he is able to pull her away from the spirit, he comforts her and makes sure to tell her that he is here for her. Boy what a damn 180 that happens in the future! Keirr then discovers Aira’s background and what she use to be, they share a tender moment together and then apologize for their previous actions. ( Probably the one and only time you’ll see that in this comic. ) Then Keirr suddenly decides she can join the pack, because it was always an option, Keirr was just being a dick. And with that, Keirr invites her to look for his family with him. Aira is able to offer some advice, as she has previously traveled the entire island in her beast form. ( Page 267 - 276 )
Here comes the total 180 of Keirr, when Aira shows him the way to Whispervale. Suddenly Keirr spouts out “We should ask them to join their pack!” Wtf?? Even Aira asks him why, just ask them if they have seen his family. Then for some reason Keirr wants to use Whispervale for their resources before continuing, but in the same breath wants to join their Tribe? None of what he just said to Aira made sense to me. Obviously Aira is uncomfortable, but Keirr doesn’t give a shit lol. Once Whispervale approaches them, Keirr asks if they can join their Tribe. Keirr then attempts to gain sympathy from Fraujar, but rightfully he gets none. Fraujar makes a statement to Keirr that the health of his tribe is everything to him, and he needs more from them than what they have shown Fraujar. Fraujar then assigns Felidae to get them acquainted with everything. Not sure what Keirr or Kique are thinking in this moment, as this is a total 180 from Keirr and his plans.( Page 311 - 314 )
Time passes for the pair and of course Aira asks Keirr when they are leaving Whispervale. Seems she’s the one that adopted Keirrs old personality, cause she’s the only one eager enough to go find them. Of course Keirr shuts her down with a bullshit excuse. “We need stability!” Not sure why he suddenly is against his own idea of searching for his family and staying with Whispervale. I mean what else did he expect trying to find them? Aira is obviously uncomfortable joining a Tribe she did not want, but again, Keirr doesn’t care. Finally their right of passage comes and Aira is the first one to participate. Aira is once again expressing she is UNCOMFORTABLE, before her trial begins. Keirr tries to reassure her, but beyond face value, Aira is stuck there because of his dumbass, unwilling at that. Of course Aira doesn’t do very well in her trial, Fraujar then says her character can be improved, but her structure is… Not up to parr. Then Keirr is all like “Oh she just needs to be trained!” Homie, did you not listen to anything Aira has said previously? She was BORN like this, she can’t just magically work out and get better. That’s not how disabilities work, idiot. ( And would you imagine it, Kique is actually an ableist and no wonder Airas character was handled like this! Go on! Read Stazz / Zirvasitys documents on her relationship with the kind hearted author! ) ( Page 326 - 331 )
Tch, anyway. Aira is obviously disappointed, she told Keirr and even expressed to Keirr that she did not want to join this tribe. I would imagine being in her shoes, she feels unheard, but tried to please Keirr anyway, only to fail. Then of course came Keirrs time and suddenly we’re shown a flashback between Keirr and his father. Of course, this was never shown in Asmundr, or Home. Suddenly Kainan and Keirr found time to actually give a shit about reindeer behavior. ANYWAY. Keirr is oddly confident in larping, how did the confident, son of Kainan, shield wolf killer end up in this situation lmfao. Of course, to nobodies surprise, Keirr nails the trial, he still loses the fight against Raun and everyone is buddy - buddy. ( Page 332 - 336 )
The next scene that follows, we have Raun shouting out at Keirr, saying he looks good and can pass as a guard if he keeps it up. Tbh, this seemed friendly at first, but watching the way Raun interacts with Keirr in the future, makes me feel like Raun is the neighborhood creep lol. Aira then comes out of the hut, her scars completely healed. Keirr is at least somewhat more supportive in this page, but future Keirr is nothing but a prick. ( Page 345 )
Fast forward to chapter 10, we finally see Keirr again, because all of chapter nine was about dumbass Rogio. Ahem. We actually see some progress from Keirr, at least keeping his word to himself. But the odd part is, he brought Raun and not Aira? First of all, Keirr hardly knows Raun and Aira understood the whole situation a lot better than Raun. Soooo.. Odd choice in bringing Raun. ( Would like to add really quick, I know Fraujar assigned Raun to follow Keirr, but why tf would Aira not come either? ) Raun is more dead weight anyway, because he’s being a giant wussy about being in that area anyway. Not even allowing Keirr to scope out the area, completely. And Keirr is just laughing about it, like cmon man, I would imagine you would want to potentially comb through the area, not cater to some giant wuss like Raun. ( Page 458 - 460 )
And to nobodies surprise, the next scene that involves Keirr is a flirty Raun. He tries to encourage Keirr to let loose and have some fun, which would have been cool if it had stayed as a friendship kind of thing. But yet again, Kique force feeds us another MxM ship. At one point, if Kique had kept up with the Rhovanion x Rogio arc that he was hinting at, at some point. All of his main male characters would have been gay. Which is obviously unrealistic, not impossible! But unrealistic. Honestly, I take Raun as a fucking creep. You hardly know anything about Keirr and yet, here he is trying to make flirty gestures and tell Keirr he’s avoiding him. As a woman, to my fellow women, any time a man points out that you’ve been avoiding him, a very creepy vibe showers over us. ( Page 478 - 479 )
Then to nobodies surprise again, Keirr is suddenly able to pin Raun, even though Raun was seen to be a lot stronger than Keirr in his trial. Aaaaand of course, Keirr reciprocates Rauns flirting by responding to him in a sexual manner, “I’m the lead sarv now.” However, in the future Keirr becomes more of an asshole at Raun from this point. ( Page 480 )
Ah now this scene just pisses me off and makes me want to throw Keirr off a cliff. Aira is seen laying around, presumably missing Keirr, I’m sure. Or, just wondering where he went. When she catches sight of him returning, she is understandably excited to see him. The one guy that helped her out with everything, in her worst times. The one guy that made her stop from becoming a beast again.. Shits on her entirely. Eyup, you heard it right. Apparently, getting people totally dependent on you and then being a giant asshole, is something Kique favors doing. Aira of course asks Keirr where he went, Keirr is suddenly acting like the biggest ass to Aira. Which tbh, he has no right doing. HE is the REASON she is there, in the first place. She has EXPRESSED to him NUMEROUS times she is uncomfortable with the tribe, but yet, he took her cries for help and rolled them up and tossed them like newspaper. What a god damn jerk Keirr is. And of course, Aira is understandably upset. Keirr basically told her to fuck off and go make her own friends. Even tho a few chapters ago, he was seen cuddling and holding her, telling her he was there for her. FUCK you Keirr. ( Page 481 - 482 )
In the next scene, Keirr then wants to play a pity party for himself, sitting in the rain, all sad looking. Like he didn’t cause this whole situation for himself. Nothing told this jackass to join Whispervale and stop searching for his family, he did it all himself! So really, why tf is he sitting there acting all depressed? Get off your ass and go look for them! Nobody told you that you couldn’t? Honestly, he’s lucky that Aira still gives a damn about him, even after he treated her like utter dog shit. Then, while Keirr is acting like a baby, Zilas makes an appearance and Keirrs dumbass thinks it’s a grand idea to talk to the ghoul. It’s kind of interesting to me how Zilas is still mostly recognizable.. You would think by now he’d peel his skin off, you know, like what Fjordor said that ghouls do. Zilas has been dead for quite a while. Aira then witnesses all of this and comes to his aid, banishing the ghoul. Keirr then suddenly gets all butt hurt about it and snarls at Aira. Okay, I get it, you’re mourning dude, but I would have figured you’d have some logic / sense to know that Zilas.. IS NOT ZILAS! Keirr even asked the ghoul what he could do, like the damn thing can talk back to him. Honestly, Aira should have just let the ghoul tear Keirr up to shreds and save us all the drama lmfao. And one last thing, when Keirr says he saw that ghoul before, but didn’t recognize it. GIRL WHERE? ( Page 515 - 517 )
Suddenly, Keirr is the master of establishing the differences in the ghouls sounds and can still hear Zilas. Also, when Aira mentions that she lived with the Meteor Tribe, really that opened up way too many questions about her that I’d like to ask. But anyway. Aira gives some speech to Keirr about how MT basically fucked around and found out with the spirits. Then a conversation falls into place about burning Zilas’s body on MT land, which ew, his body im sure would be pretty rotted away by now. But this also brings me to another question, what are the ghouls made of? Are they a manifestation of the soul? They quite obviously can’t be their former bodies, because if that were the case, they wouldn’t even find Zilas’s body, as he would have risen and been a ghoul. Another fat question for this comic and I’m not even sure if this was talked about? ( I’ll be honest with you, I forget if this part was talked about. ) ( Page 518 - 519 )
And here we go with the sexual tension between these two idiots, Keirr and Raun. Raun is a full on creep already, but really Keirr is the big asshole here. Previously, Raun asked him out, as he mentioned before the trip, to Felidae and Aira. So instead of.. Idk, not leading Raun on, what does Keirr do? Hugs him and shares a tender moment with him. Oh trust me guys, it gets fucking worse from this point. And I will continue to say that Raun is a creep, but even he doesn’t deserve to be led on. I also don’t remember Raun asking Keirr out, but I’ll just assume that was yet another important off screen moment. This is also yet another rushed, no chemistry ship crammed down our throats by Kique. ( Page 526 )
So finally we get to the part where they eventually burn Zilas’s body, Aira asks Keirr if he wants to say something and of course! Nothing. It’s almost like any time someone dies in this comic, proper funerals don’t exist. Granted, Keirr just said “I love you, brother.” But when given the opportunity before hand, he was like eh, I don’t have shit to say lmao. ( Page 528 )
Fast forward to a year, I mean 3 months later ( in Keirrs arc ). Of course, in another off screen moment, supposedly Keirr and the others returned to Whispervale and told Fraujar what happened. In my opinion, I feel like some punishment should have been bestowed upon them, or at least show Fraujar being upset with them for doing this behind his back. It would have shown more character from Fraujar and also shown Keirr getting his ass chewed out, by bringing all this unnecessary drama and bullshit into Whispervale. Keirr is also being another nosy ass, listening in on his Jarls discussion. Within the midst of this, Ferah makes her appearance. Keirr miraculously still remembers her and asks what the hell happened. I almost forgot that Keirr and Ferah met previously, because they literally didn’t say anything to each other lol. ( Page 566 - 567 )
Oh boy, here comes the cringiest scene that involves Keirr. Keirr steps away for a moment, after watching Ferah, once Felidae walks in. Ferah wakes up and of course is spooked, cause she doesn’t know wtf is going on. Somehow they both remember each others names, though I don’t remember them ever sharing their names to each other previously. Anyway, Keirr asks Ferah questions about Roamer and Ferah tells him that Ronja and Roamer are at MT. Of course, Keirr gets excited and quite frankly I’m surprised he didn’t smell them before, because Keirr was literally in their territory a few months back, but whatever! Ferah then tells Keirr they’ve both been strong and bla bla. Keirr of course tries to take off, being this annoying problem child as usual. If I were Fraujar I would be so annoyed with Keirr lmfao. Of course you can’t just take off like that, from your tribe, which YOU wanted to join. Raun stops Keirr from running off and what follows after is a recipe for fucking disaster lol. Keirr ends up kissing Raun, further leading the king of creeps on. Keirr KNOWS that Raun likes him, so apparently kissing him out of emotional excitement is a totally normal thing to do. Especially when you know that person has a CRUSH on you and yet you don’t reciprocate it! No, no, it’s totally okay to lead on someone who has feelings for you! ( Page 572 - 576 )
Damn near 100 pages later and we finally see Keirr again. Course, nothing has changed with him. Raun and Keirr are seen in a hut together, Raun is basically asking Keirr what they are, because I mean.. They touched tongues, lmfao. But that was because of Keirr throwing himself at Raun, so really I don’t blame Raun for asking. Now in Keirrs defense, I don’t know why tf Raun is grabbing Keirr like that, when asking him a question, so I mean Keirrs response is a little valid, when he yells at Raun. But the blame still lies with Keirr, because this whole time he has led Raun on, but at the same time Raun has been a giant freaking creep bag as well. They are then interrupted when Keirr walks out and runs into Fraujar, standing there, needing to talk to Keirr. ( Page 640 - 641 )
A few pages later, we see a non emotional reunion between Keirr, Ronja and Roamer. I mean god, all of their expressions are so god damn bland. Y’all haven’t seen each other in months, but let’s just 1,000 yard stare at each other, BEAUTIFUL. ( Page 645 - 646 )
Fast waaaay forwards, to more important scenes involving Keirr. After Rhov and Keirr’s reunion, we are graced with a scene where Rhov and Feaf are telling Keirr that MT might get attacked… This fucking idiot. So instead of putting this whole thing on top priority, Keirr just brushes it off and is like.. I’Ll TeLl FrAuJaR iN tHe MoRnInG. Dumbass, how do you know if they are attacking MT? Feaf literally said they might come to Whispervale? How does Keirr know they aren’t literally waiting in ambush, that very moment? HE DOESNT. So instead of putting his family top priority, like he probably should’ve, he decides to talk about his relationship status. What a great fucking family member / tribe member he is. On top of this, “figuring himself out.” I think you know where you stand, buddy. This whole scene though, Keirr was an idiot. He doesn’t even show the slightest BIT of concern for his family / MT. Let’s act depressed af, because he didn’t know where everyone was, but as soon as he finds them and they could potentially be in danger, ah, let’s wait to warn others till morning! ( Page 788 - 791 )
Finally Keirr and Whispervale show up, but yall are too damn late already. ( Page 808 )
And that about sums up my read along breakdown!
-
- Personality Breakdown
Tumblr media
So looking over Keirrs personality traits really gives me some mixed feelings. To be honest, I can’t say that he is independent. Not anymore at least, he was the one that decided he wanted to join Whispervale, he even went against his own independent idea of searching for his family. So for me, he is neither logical, independent OR family - oriented.
A few of these other positive personality traits really haven’t been tested thru the fire, so I can’t really say what he is or isn’t. Mainly because Kique does not focus much on Keirr, like he does with the jackasses of MT and former MT members.
To put it all in perspective though, Keirr was a pretty solid character in Asmundr and in the beginning of Home. Unfortunately, he too fell victim of Kiques weird kinks / fans and became a whole contradiction to himself and his own personality traits.

And that is the end ladies and gentlemen! Hope you enjoy :)

!!!!! tell me!!
OKAY SO
i couldn't sleep until 1:30 am for unimportant reasons but . at 1:30 am, i was suddenly haunted by a question, right. there are these events in tokimeki memorial girls side 3 and 4 called ADV events, where you get to see a short story from the point of view of one of the main love interests. but like. why the hell was it called adv. is it an acronym for something? what does it mean
so at 1:30 in the morning, i went to look up what tokimeki memorial girls side adv means
i do not receive an answer from search engines
instead, somehow, google heard me ask "tokimeki memorial girls side adv meaning" and gave me THIS.
Tumblr media
it's insane, right. it's really insane. this is a 27 page essay claiming that tokimeki memorial girls side (2002), beloved romance simulator, is responsible for teaching girls to view themselves in terms of real-life stats, that rejection from anime guys will give gamers self-esteem issues, and how to view yourself through the male gaze to win love.
i look at this 27 page paper and pass out for the next 5 hours, because it is 1:30 am.
BUT. when i wake up. i am READING. i liveblogged it all to my friend in discord dms (HI @nenestansunsthings) and here are. some INCREDIBLE highlights
"the game teaches you that men expect women to change their clothes from time to time"
the author has cited japanese 123 website, livejournal, and tumblr
"japanese players are more receptive to the series' lessons on femininity than overseas players because of the constant affirmations of the japanese cultural setting" the daily affirmations of being in japan
"players are encouraged to save before making choices and reload if they do not satisfy the object of their affections, teaching women to discard their desires and preferences to please men" HAVE YOU NOT PLAYED A VIDEO GAME BEFORE?!
the author can't make up their mind over whether the game has 7 or 9 love interests
they are basing their analysis on the first game specifically but they bring up the second and third game if it supports their point. but information from the second and third games is ignored if it undermines their point
example 1: they complain about rivals mode portraying women as jealous and willing to throw away their friendships for the sake of a man's love, ignoring that game 2 allows you to calmly talk things out with your friend and game 3 entirely does away with girls being rivals entirely, the game 3 girls are always on your side 100%
example 2: they bring up tumblr posts of fans talking about how they'd date the girls to point out how heteronormative the games are. they are talking about the first game. the tumblr posts are talking about a girl from the third game
weird racism
"this game MAY cause players to develop self-worth issues" "this game MIGHT cause players to see themselves in real-life stats" THESE WORDS ARE DOING A LOT OF HEAVY LIFTING.....
the author is WRONG???? ABOUT THE GAME MECHANICS????
they claim that a guy rejected their invitation for a date because they weren't smart enough but once they were smart enough they launched themselves into a monologue about how this is PROBABLY a guy wanting a girl who is smart enough not to embarrass him but not smart enough to surpass him
THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS. IT'S RNG. THERE'S NO MINIMUM STAT REQUIREMENT TO ASK SOMEONE OUT HE JUST FLIPPED A COIN AND SAID NO
out of the four love interests they mention by name in this, THREE OF THEM HAVE THEIR NAME SPELLED WRONG
look at this fucking bibliography
Tumblr media
they have cited, in order.
a shitpost
someone's entire blog
and all of tumblr's search results for tokimeki memorial girls side 3.
which is not even the game they're talking about.

Hi guys!!! I really need help from the tumblr dot com user for this one cz I don't have the balls to use twitter lol
Sooo, I was scrolling down tiktok this afternoon, and my fyp suddenly came out a tiktok where this person posted a relateable comment abt Kinich
Tumblr media
I'm not sure but I think it was Spanish, from the caption. They only had 2 video posted and all of them were genshin content. And this one, Kinich in particular, the comments I read that afternoon were mostly Spanish speakers, and then there's English speakers asking where was the animation came from.
I of course, one of the English speaker trying to find the source to enjoy the work of the animator, and the creator of that tiktok never responded to any of the English comments either. And then came a few hours ago, someone answered my comments but I found the video's comment now disabled (as u can see the number of comments dissappeared)
Tumblr media
Now, I did what most sanest people would do, Bilibili is one of the most used Web to publish hand drawn animations in China from what I know, and by googling the exact title and it would pop up, and you might thought that'd be the end so what's the problem??
The thing is.... everytime I clicked on the link, the page kept on reloading, and the screen would be white, just the blue Bilibili logo would appear. And I belive this happens to all Bilibili links too, or for me at least I'm not sure if there's anyone else that experience it
A friend told me maybe the creator had deleted it, or the link was somehow expired or the address were changed, but I'm really desperate and I NEED to see the animation, so pleaseee if u had this problem too, or u have the actual link pls lmk I'm begging to see the animation,,, or if there's a reason like it really being deleted or whatsoever,, but please I just need explanation 😭😭🙏🙏

The weather is like 58 for the high today so you can imagine my productively suddenly went up. In between stuff I was doing for WFH stuff I also did a load of laundry (accidentally spilled red drink on my Jammie’s), grabbed some stuff to mail out to a company that donates or recycles beauty products you don’t want anymore, reorganized the under sink areas for all three bathrooms, cleaned the toilets and put bleach tablets in the tanks, brought the trash can back in, emptied the dishwasher and reloaded it, washed my water bottle, switched the couch cushions around, reorganized some stuff downstairs and upstairs, and just general shit in between waiting for pages to load because working remotely takes forever for image heavy stuff to load and save.
Like my point is I like working from home because I can get up every 20-30 min or so to do shit around the house and then come back. Better for my bones to be moving and I get shit done.
Plus I can dance in the kitchen and sing loudly while working which is frowned upon in the office lololol

Death Shroud Q&A (submitted by @completely-legit)

Death Shroud Q&A!
Writing Questions
Q: 1. "You only ever took one of us." – Paladin Danse, Death Shroud Meta jokes aside, it's obvious you enjoyed playing some of the best of Fallout 4's cast off of each other in ways that we weren't able to get in the game due to the mechanical restrictions of the gameplay.  Which was your favorite dynamic between characters to write?
A: Honestly I loved writing all of it. By the time you're well into the story the Red Rocket is filled with the strangest assortment of people/not people in the entire Wasteland. The conflict, ball busting, unexpected friendships that would be blossom out of that is really fertile soil for writing. Moreover, on a shared journey 2 years later they have a comfortable familiarity with each other they just slip back into. I also love Jefferson/Silver Shroud's dynamic, because you have a superhero level character who starts off 2 dimensional ripped out of a comic book and is suddenly REAL in a way that doesn't fit with reality. As a result he's kind of bumbling and awkward. Jefferson is the embodiment of him "not fitting in" outside of the page where he's idolized as well as stylized. It's just great stuff.
2. I believe you mentioned you turned to Dick Tracy for inspiration while writing this picturesque slice of noir life – what's the most important thing you've learned about writing a radio drama?  What was the most difficult thing about resurrecting a much older style of media that you didn't appreciate until you were deep in it?
A: I looked at a lot of inspirations to get the feel right in the beginning acts. Relistened to old school Sam Spade radio dramas, rewatched The Maltese Falcon (Bogart's version of Spade inspired the character of Valentine in development), as well as "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" and "Dick Tracy". Since I've been writing radio drama for almost 5 years now, I think the biggest thing I've learned over time is getting the rhythm right. I write in a way that I want to take people on an emotional rollercoaster of a journey in pretty much everything I do. Because that's life. We laugh, we get anxious and tense, we pine for people, cheer them out, mourn their losses and feel their pain. I always try to recreate that ride in any story we've done whether it's this or other productions we do. Lastly, always give people what they want: a satisfying ending. As far as resurrecting an older style of media...that was really easy as I've been listening to Old Time Radio since I was a teenager.
3. Did you do everything in one take or have any rehearsals/direction?  It seemed like all the VAs were in one call together, which is some incredible coordination and effort!
A: Nope! All recorded one night in one take with no rehearsal. Mostly because I was sweating over the script and didn't finish polishing it until 3 hours before recording. We did it all on Zoom and not 5 minutes in, a lightning bolt hit a transformer down the street, knocking out my power. Wes had to continue recording for me (it's why there's a big grid of people at the start as opposed to the single actor view later on. I was crushed I wasn't there live while they were recording.
4. The amount of voice (and writing) talent in this production is incredible for something so unofficial!  How long did it take you to bring this 3 hour noir tour of the Commonwealth to fruition?  How many times did you have to replay/reload Fallout 4 to fact check your details? :)
A: Thank you! We started asking people a few months ago. I had a brainstorming meeting with Wes and Emil from Bethesda who offered some helpful notes as I wrote on their characters. It took me 26 hours or so to edit and design the media elements, add effects and music scoring. It took 14 hours to render in 4k and only finished rendering at 10am the morning of airing. I was sweating over night that it would finish rendering in time. lol I didn't have to replay Fallout 4 as I have a really good memory of it, but looked to the Wiki on some key details and transcripts of how the characters talked in the main game.
5. Obviously, the plot had to wrap a bit around which VAs were available; were there any specific plot changes you had to make based on availability, or did you only seriously bend to writing after you already had a list of actors available for participation?  Anything extremely fun you had to cut?
A: At the last moment sadly Lynda Carter couldn't join us otherwise I wouldn't have written in Magnolia without her. Shari Elliker came in clutch and did a great job voicing her! I really and truly wanted MacCready a part of it, but Matt Mercer is INSANELY busy and was taking a much-needed vacation. Despite that he was kind enough to record for us. I wanted to try and bring EVERYONE back but between not being able to reach some people, others just able to wrangle their schedule...I think we did a good job getting as many people as we did. There was a bunch of stuff I had to cut for time (because this thing was already 3 hours). There was going to be an attack by the Mechanist on Diamond City, following the events at the Lombardo's with the Mechanist taking out the Detective Agency in retribution for meddling in their plans, but felt that was unnecessary and we'd already put listeners through enough torture. lol I was going to bring back Scribe Haylen as a link to investigate some of the Brotherhood's Black Market dealings in salvaged synth tech as part of the surprise return of Kellogg. But honestly the most fun scene would've been a trap in which they're lured to a train station thinking Harold is coming in by rail from the Capital Wasteland only to be chased by an Endritch "modded into the Universe" version of Thomas the Tank Engine. It would've resulted in a car chase with the Shroud realizing Jefferson has used all his James Bond-like car gadgets already so the most they can do is throw bottles at it that Hancock has emptied. lol
Plot questions:
1. "You started something two years ago you never finished."  - Boss Lombardo, Death Shroud
In my opinion, one of the biggest successes of Death Shroud was fans were of course hungry for the answers about what comes after a "happy ending".  In Death Shroud it's apparent that Nora chose to assist the Brotherhood of Steel along to a victory against the Institute - but it becomes clear that the ending wasn't perfect for everyone. There's been a lot of discussion over the years about how every faction ending to Fallout 4 has its own unique drawbacks.  In this case it seems like even beyond sacrificing the Railroad (and a lot of synths) the Brotherhood left a power vacuum in the Commonwealth which is allowing for raiders and the like to take back over in the absence of both the Institute and an effective Minute Men alliance. What was the most important part of this "ending" and its consequences for you to address?  What made it the best backdrop to set Death Shroud in?  The play mentions more than once that poor Nick is running out of spare parts with the source of synthetic limbs destroyed!
A: I picked that ending for our story because honestly it's one of the most dire from which to grow the story from. The rise of raiders and Triggermen (mafia control of parts of the city) is very Film Noir. I also needed Nora to have dipped out of the spotlight and honestly trying to just go live a quiet life and come to terms with what they did to the railroad was necessary plot wise. The Cabot storyline was also essential...she needed to have let him loose in order for the pieces of the story to come together. I also think it's important to remember that the Brotherhood REALLY aren't their for altruistic reasons. Once they take out the Institute they don't give a crap about rebuilding Boston. They salvage tech, hoard it and that's kind of it. By the time our story begins Nick and our former companions are doing their best just to keep things in some kind of order. Even Hancock needs to go back to run Goodneighbor to prevent it from falling apart.
 2. The biggest breakout original character was Charlie, Nick Valentine's protege turned traitor; wonderfully played by Aeric Azana.  I actually experienced several double takes during the first airing of the play and had to google to make sure I hadn’t completely forgotten the character somehow, he fit so well with the rest of the cast.  What was the inspiration for his character?  Care to give us some more loose backstory about how he wound up in the Valentine detective agency?
A: Aeric Azana is BRILLIANT and really completely lost himself in that character and brought it to life. I think the character fit in and felt so natural because it felt like a character that would be there. Following the events of Fallout 4, I think Nick would learn the importance of friends and family and in chasing down Nora's son, a set of continuity of beliefs and ideals. Seeing the Institute destroyed and most of the synths wiped out...there's no backup, no spare parts. Nick can be killed and destroyed and all that he was would be lost. Not only does Nick need help at the agency I think he wanted to have something he could never have: a sense of family. Taking in Charlie off the streets, raising him, teaching him would make sense for him. I have some thoughts on his background and how Nick found him...but that may end up being a story, so I'll keep quiet about that for now. Suffice to say, missing people is not all that Nick finds on cases.
3. No noir sleuth story is complete without organized crime!  Fallout players are intimately familiar with a lot of the gangs of the commonwealth, be it the Khans, the Forged, or even the Gourmands – but Ma Lombardo, played by the lovely Ellen McLain & her rabid dog son Carmen (the Boss) played by the equally talented Zack Ward - represent a newer type of evil in the Commonwealth.
In your opinion how does organized crime fit within the wasteland societal structure that already... lacks organization as it were?  Are they essentially just raiders who will monologue at you before gunning you down for your caps? Who is even standing up to them at this point?  Prosecuting them for their perceived crimes?  It’s funny to consider that these crime families are essentially more organized than most of the remaining political structures in place!
A: Say what you want about crime families, but they do hold up a semblance of order where there is needed one. If you take a look at the arc of the Godfather, in the beginning there is a balance of justice, deep seated respect of an order...a code of honor. Ma and Carmen Lombardo return because we've broken what little of that was left with the Triggermen by the time we were done in the Commonwealth. The hierarchy peaking order has been obliterated, so it leaves both a structural opportunity for them to return and also a true need to try and BE the stabilizing force after the power vacuum that was left by our choices. Nora and the gang basically fuck up the Commonwealth in one way or another and I honestly think it would be out of character for her to WANT to be a ruler. So who's left? The Triggermen under Lombardo aren't just raiders...they were forced inline in a way they hadn't been in a long time. Raiders wouldn't have stood a chance against them.
4. "If I’ve learned anything, people are what they believe" – Nick Valentine, Death Shroud
Nick Valentine is a character who has struggled with his identity in the past but came to some degree of closure about it by choosing to believe in/focus on the goodness of his deeds despite being a perceived copy of another man.  In Death Shroud we see him brush up against a much more literal (and meta) manifestation of the power of belief in ideas - it's a pretty poignant juxtaposition of the character's much-deliberated ideology vs a rather wild plot.  Is that the reason Nick was the only man left standing at the end?  The manufactured man who was both someone else's idea but how he defines himself, who he is, is his own choice as well?
A: Honestly the reason it was him still standing in the end is because this ultimately is HIS story, a Nick Valentine Mystery. What Nick misses completely is that like Nora, he is a keystone event. Unlike any other synth out there he is aware of who he is, who he wasn't, can't hide in plain sight like others can. Because of his journey, his actions, the people he helps, saves, draws to him, a tapestry of ripples of his existence, choices and actions forever ripple throughout the Commonwealth. Magnolia's comments in the end both speak to his position in their reality and also direct speak to us as players, "in the end we're not just stories".
5.  Follow up:  I also found it to be an incredibly fascinating character arc for Nick as well.  He was offered the keys to Diamond City, albeit by notorious criminal Ma Lombardo, but then later essentially by Charlie as well - but our synthetic hero turns both of them down since he's a “just a detective, not a politician”.
A: It's more than that also. Nick isn't motivated by power, has lived long enough to see how power corrupts and creates the illusion of choice. What Charlie misses is the EXPERIENCE Nick has as part of his journey. Could having that kind of power mean no more missing people? No more broken hearts? Yes...but it also means denying people the choices and lessons they've learned as a result of actions they take. He wasn't born. He was made. He was built to replace people. He was given memories, a life and story he didn't earn, didn't choose. He made the CHOICE to to throw all of that away and do the most human thing real humans often don't do: help people without reservation.
Over the course of the play it becomes clearer as characters reminisce over the events of Fallout 4, Nick's not entirely satisfied with some of the choices Nora made along the way and more notably some of the ramifications.  This is followed by the very end where Nick takes control to reset reality to a ‘previous save’ far in the past before the entirety of Nora’s adventure - rather than say, just before everything involving the events of Death Shroud went to hell in a handbasket.  Any particular reason that was Nick’s chosen reload point?  Do you think Nick has reached a point from his experiences where he would take a more active role in guiding Nora's decision making going forward?
A: Nick didn't have a choice there. There is only the current state or as teased in the commercial in the very beginning the only saved state available to you. "Safe equals saved" wasn't just a funny commercial, it was a promise that going back means returning to the start of the tapestry of choices, actions and impacts that began when Nora's keystone moment began. The day she was woken up and became something other than Nora. If you pay attention, throughout Fallout 4 Nick offers very specific guidance in some areas and specific wisdom. Knowing full well how important choice is to the causal nexus and maintaining the tapestry of reality he would walk that line very carefully in the choices made vs. influenced.
Last Question:
I’m very curious what the three sentence pitch was to get most of these VAs on board with this amazing project - and even Pete Hines and Emil Pagliarulo as well – if you can share that with us!
A: There really wasn't one. I've become really good friends with Wes these past few years and the other voice actors, Pete Hines, etc. are also people I've gotten to know through Fallout For Hope. So I think our track record as far as fundraising goes, trust in me/Fallout For Hope, etc. from working together on both unofficial Fallout community projects, causes and events and official NDA ones we've done the past few years created a unique situation this thing could even happen. This was our 3rd production this scale, but the one I'm most proud of.
