a small kindness from one of Danny’s enemies
"Right," said Johnny. "So he's worried his résumé would suck?"
"Yes," said Technus. "He won't stop posting about how much he wants the internship but he won't apply for it because of the résumé."
Technus figured it wasn't wrong to look at Danny's social media posts because they were public, even if he wasn't exactly reading them in the publically accessible way. Even if he did think it was wrong, he wouldn't have cared all too much. He knew it was wrong that he stole the copy of Stupendous Splash Bros. Kerfuffle he and Johnny were learning to play, but they were having fun, which he figured was more important.
"Well that's stupid. Résumés are just lists of cool stuff you're good at, right? I've never written one but that time we were trying to get Jazz's body to Kitty, she had a few sessions where she helped other kids write 'em and it looked easy as shit."
Technus shrugged. When he was under employ, you could get a job just by setting up a shop and opening the doors.
"He's done all sorts of stuff, why doesn't he just put all that?"
"Well, he can't exactly put any of his ghost-related activities. Even outside of the way he's sticking with the 'secret identity' thing, I hear people who don't live around the portal still don't believe in ghosts."
"I'm not even talking about that! Kitty was telling me after she took a ride in that girl he was dating-"
"I don't know if that's accurate-"
"The kid knows how to fly these spaceships NASA uses! He simulates it or something. And he can, like, engineer electronics sometimes? 'Cause his parents have been doing it his whole life or whatever. They had him on some science magazine for working with a rare monkey! That's all stuff NASA would wanna hear, right? He should just write the stupid résumé if he wants them to make him an intern so bad."
"Maybe you should tell him that."
"...Huh?"
"Wanna go find the ghost child and help him write a résumé?"
"...That's fucking stupid. Let's go do it."

i’m in a really weird position right now. i’m applying for engineering internships and...here’s the thing. i have no real intellectual opposition to working for the defense industry. but it does leave kind of a bad taste in my mouth to think about it. and guess who employ engineers at vastly larger rates than any other group ever? the defense industry. guess who funds huge swathes of interesting science and technology? the defense industry. guess who it’s completely inevitable for me to work for? like, i could not even know. i actually wanna work for NASA. but NASA doesn’t really have on-site engineers as much anymore. they do a lot of their work through contractors. in fact, they do a ton of work through the same contractors as the DoD. except the DoD is infinitely bigger than NASA, so if you’re working for a contractor you might not really know which department/agency will actually get the most use out of Thing You’re Designing, but the smart bet is to assume it’s the DoD. goddamn. look, i’m a realist about the military. i fuckin get it. states fight each other and the US isn’t some paragon of virtue that can zap its enemies with lasers of goodness. and a lot of our alliances are predicated on our ability to defend our allies. but it’s so sad to me that humanity is driven to the vast majority of its technological breakthroughs by the need to constantly have a better military. whatever. like i’ll take the job at Lockheed Martin or Northrop Grumman if i can get it but...argh. what i actually want is to be dictator of the entire world and insist that all science should be funded due to the wonder we feel for the universe and the urge to make stuff that’ll improve people’s lives. obviously i’m no Oppenheimer, but i worry that a little piece of his soul sinks into every engineer and scientist at these contract companies.

Which is the best digital marketing course?
Finally, I found a question where I can explain and guide to amateur not to waste money on any digital marketing course. I am an experienced digital marketer so that I can guide you well and will try to save your hard-earned penny.
Digital marketing institute just teaches you the basic concepts. I think those resources are easily available on the internet which you will pay to institute. Now few will say Institute provides tricks and tips which is hidden in online resources. No tricks works longer in digital marketing. You have to develop it on your own. Your tricks will be unique to you which makes you popular digital marketer. So develop it by working on it more and more. Understand self that which trick is working and which are not working. Now coming to another aspect. You are done with your digital course with institute, now what next. For any digital job, companies ask for experience and for that you have to work as an intern. Sometimes they pay little and sometimes they pay nothing for that. Post internship you kick start your career. Here I am giving you few tips, follow it and I bet you will never regret.Assuming you are about to build a career in digital marketing.
Start learning basic concepts available on youtube. Mind it you have to learn basics not tips. Thousands of digital marketers make videos to share tips in order to get views. Don’t watch those videos. Watch tutorial videos which explain concepts and how it works. (7 days)
There are 3 main modules in digital marketing SEO(Search engine optimization), SEM(Search engine Marketing), SMM(Social media marketing). Take one topic for example SEO. Start exploring on internet. Learn basic concepts. Once you are done with basic concepts of one topic start working on it. (30 days)
Start reading blogs related to digital marketing which shares insights. You will be able to develop strategies.
Now go for any online certification at first.
Start internship with any good agency. May be they will not pay you. But In long run brand tag is neccesary. (6 months to 1 year).
Now you have learned a lot, practically implemented it in internship. Learned new things from companies. Start applying for jobs. Trust me if you are skilled and know your work. Getting job after internship is easy.
Here you have to make decision you have to build your own agency, Become freelancer, or continue your job. Job is mandatory for few years as you will learn how business is done in agencies. How they get client, how they retain client. How they charge their client and many more stuffs. Then Do whatever you want to do.
For above steps you dont have to spend any money, yes certification may cost you little but that is affordable and 100 times cheaper which you will pay to institutes.I have learned this with experience and will suggest you to follow this and trust me you will never regret. Now moving ahead what top digital marketers do?
Top digital marketer first understands clients business. Build strategies how to go about and then they deliver the results. They try to expand clients business. They customize plans for clients, which will work which will not. This is the mantra always remember.I have seen fraud digital marketer, when ever they get client, They start churning out money from them without any strategy. They simply starts google ad campaigns and social media postings without any customized solutions.Dont be just digital marketer, be a good digital marketer. Bring digital solution for your client. Drive their business growth. You will not loose client for life.I will request not to spend money on institutes. If you are so much interested go for degree course from good colleges, dont go for these certification course.Best digital marketing course is nothing but yes best digital marketer exists. Best is what, which suits you great.Expense which you will borne, if you learn it on own.
Buy domain and hosting which will cost you around 2k for 1 year. Dont go for free hosting. Spend few bucks here.
Google certification for free from Google skillshop.
If you have more inclination towards social media optimization then you can go for facebook blueprint certification which costs around Rs 5700 with tax. This is not mandatory. You can upskill yourself from tutorials and apply it on your social media pages and accounts. Ultimately growth matters and thats what employers care about.
Now what ever you will learn from tutorials apply it on your domain. Then you will start learning what works and what not. With these steps, one fine day you will become a great digital marketer.I know you have many other queries to be resolved. You can comment below so that I can address those and guide you so that you can always save money.I am giving you one best example. ISRO reached Mars at a cost of Rs 400 crores and NASA did the same for Rs 6000 crores. Which one do you think did great job. Of course ISRO who saved money for country, which might be utilized for some other noble cause or in some other projects. One more thing which I would like to share it from one of my trainee student. Sir, whatever you teach, I always apply it in my live projects. Honestly your trick works but when it comes to develop some of my own tricks and tips, I have to indulge myself with experiments which I do it for own, sometimes I got fail, but definitely develops some pro tips for the same.I hope you got my point. You have to do experiments. Me and other trainers can teach you how to set campaigns in facebook or google ads and up to extent few tips so that you must not loose your money with blunt mistakes. Post that you have to experiment, you have to dive in the ocean and bring more pro tips for yourself which will make you great digital professional.Digital marketing is more of marketing rather than technical. You have to write attractive ad copies in google ads and you need to play with keywords set which will actually differentiate you. For facebook ads you have to identify right audience. This can not be taught anywhere. You have to be a wise marketer. This is all what I wanted to address to all newbie/amateur who wants to join this field. I have shared real insights above my profession. Being into this industry I want every newbie to be guided well so that we can produce quality professional.Follow me here, upvote If you liked it Please share it with one whom you know are about to join Digital marketing. I just tried to save your hard earned money with my experience which I have earned it.
EDIT : 1 -
There is global lockdown turning around in the world due to corona virus. In India we have lockdown. Its high time when you can upskill yourself learning exploring digital marketing. I am sure there will be economic crisis which will take on when corona crisis is over. Then every business will need marketing boost and this segement will see robust growth and opportunity. Just jump in learn and upksill your digital skills. If you are not able to do in this free time, then this is for sure, You never lacked time but you lacked discipline in your behavior.Good luck and hope this added some value.

A Personal Update
Hello everyone! This is just a quick behind-the-blog update from me.
I’ve been applying to NASA internships for the past three months, and I’m sad to say that I was not chosen for any of them.
I must admit it broke my heart a little bit to see the positions I applied for fill up with no offer extended to me. I really thought I had a good shot at a few of them this time around. I really thought I had a chance.
I’m writing this because I want everyone to know that is natural to feel frustrated and disappointed, and that whatever setback you may encounter is not the end of the world. Just as there are countless stars in the night sky, there are just as many opportunities still waiting for you to find them.
Yes, my heart is heavy from this, but I know I’ll bounce right back. Rejection is a part of life, after all, and no one ever made it to the stars after giving up because of a few rejections.
I’m going to keep moving forward, with my eyes on the stars, doing what I love to do, and I know I’ll get where I want to be someday.
Until then, ad astra!
