Any headcanons regarding the roommate NPCs in Bustin Out? Or even the vital NPCs that don't reappear in later games?

Hi! Thank you for the ask! Admittedly, I think about The Sims Bustin' Out less than the later GBA Sims games. But here's what I could think of:

I mentioned on here that I'm pretty sure Vera Vex is supposed to have divorced parents, which is how she's a 'step-cousin' of Bella Goth.

I also tend to view Ava Cadavra from The Sims 2 (GBA/DS) as her ex (... despite Vera specifically saying 'She doesn't date drummers.' Or maybe Ava is the reason why she doesn't... but I assume Ava was in the Germinators after The Sims Bustin' Out).

I view Daschell Swank as at least being in his late fourties-ish, although he looks a bit younger. He's also not fond of kids at all.

Random, but the fact that Daschell DOES buy paintings off of you regardless of their quality is something that I've always found rather interesting. I guess there are more than masterpieces in his art collection.

Also, although the game itself is intentionally cagey about how Uncle Hayseed is related to the player is related to Uncle Hayseed, I like to think that he's actually the brother of Mom Landgrabb. Due to the connectivity of the GBA and the Gamecube, the main character of the Console version of The Sims Bustin' Out and the Handheld version can be seen as being essentially the same character. Therefore, Uncle Hayseed and Mom are kinda canonically related. Having them be siblings is just a way to simplify that and connect more handheld characters to the greater Sims narrative (... even if Mom is probably older than Uncle Hayseed).
