I'll never not believe that Davos is the one who fell first and harder. that he wasn't the one getting his heart truly broken. the one fighting for Aaron's love and attention and aching when he is denied. the one longing for Aeron and having to reckon with the fact that he can never truly have him, there's too much keeping them apart.

sure, Aeron has his own feelings, his own longing, his dread.

but you can see it in their faces, it's Davos's heart that's a mess, his soul that is aching, while Aeron is more confused and unsure of his own feelings and where they lie in the mess that is feuds and war and blood and kin.

Davos is angry but full of bitter, rage filled acceptance. Aeron is scared, confused, and stuck between acceptance and denial. and it's breaking me.

the thing with sonic 3 is I can't even be too mad at it. I knew that was going to happen. i love action too much. sonic and shadow had a high speed chase, shadow did the akira slide up a fucking building and then they beat each other up on the moon man. i am a weak weak man when it comes to cool as fuck action scenes and they made that movie for me, I was partly blind to everything else that was happening tbh. I actually will have to rewatch this movie to say anything coherent about it

had a dream dnp did a haunted house tour, where they set up a haunted house in hotels and if you physically went, they'd be the scare actors along the path. (specifically phil. he was very excited about it) or you could just go to the hotel and 'play' the house on tv, like an interactive adventure

but even though i was there in the hotel doing it, it was something they'd done years ago? (like pre coming out)they released a bts vid about it and everybody lost their shit bc there's a 'woman's voice' asking dan questions and up until then everyone assumed phil was filming. it was also filmed in their (shared) hotel room, and showed the bed. there was some comment from her about both sides being warm, or something? im not fully sure how we knew that. but it was 'pHaN pRoOf!!1!' for awhile, except some were clinging to the woman as reason they couldn't possibly be gay.

there was a lot of back and forth whether she was just a fan or not, for years. then now we suddenly realised it was erin d from smosh and we all felt very silly for not hearing it.

9/10, loved seeing phil as a werewolf and zombie jock and dead pilot (?) AND it was great that he was so excited. dan was also there, but he was mostly quiet and letting phil lead the way (overwhelming amounts of heart eyes howell, which i'll never be over)

The third girl is Hanako Ikezawa, from Katawa Shoujo. She was caught in a fire that killed her parents, and spent most of her life as an orphan with burn scars on her body. Being bullied was one thing, being triggered by her own birthday is one thing... but what Hanako truly despises is being pitied. She hates when the few people who don't recoil at the sight of her coddle her and treat her like a delicate child because of her trauma and shyness, like her blind motherly friend Lilly and potentially the protagonist Hisao: in fact, the reason she hates her birthday is because everyone pretended to care about her that one day, and "she didn't want to exist, but they wouldn't let her". In the good ending of her route, she pretty much throws herself at Hisao and has sex with him purely to be seen as an adult; in the neutral ending she keeps quiet and allows Hisao to say that he will "protect" her; in the bad ending... she makes her anger very, very clear. On top of that, she's also an avid bookworm and enjoys games lol

The fourth girl is Nina, from Berserk. She's a prostitute, which already puts her at the bottom of society, and her defining feature is that she is a massive coward. When things go wrong, and they often do, she panicks and does anything to save herself, including throwing people near to her under the bus. She is intensely afraid of God and His judgment, and therefore spites Him by participating in satanic orgies. She's envious of the "head" of the coven of prostitutes she belongs to, Luca, because she's the kind, brave, dependable woman she can never be. Nina hates herself for who she is, and desperately wants to be braver. A turning point for her is when Luca tells her that her cowardice is a sign that she, above all, wants to live.

What connects Tails, Isaac, Hanako and Nina is therefore insecurity expressed in various ways, being underestimated or looked down to, and being associated with a cooler, more mature and confident person they either aspire to be or resent (Sonic, Hector, Lilly, Luca) :)
