It also took Heiji A SINGLE HALF LOOK of Kaito's face to think he could be related to Shinichi (yet Conan never even questioned WHY Kaito and him are very similar in looks...right?)

Message to the DCMK fandom

In light of recent events (the revelation from movie 27), I would like to say to the fandom and most of all the non KaiShin shippers:

Don't harass or attack KaiShin shippers

Don't mock them

Don't make them feel bad

Don't push them to delete their KaiShin content/blog

Celebrate all you want, but don't brag to KaiShin lovers. For most of us, the revelation hits us bad. Don't rub salt in the wound.

And please, please don't harass them for still shipping KaiShin. Don't make them feel bad for still enjoying a ship that bring them joy still. This ship has over 30 years and, until the latest movie, we never suspected such revelation to be ever canon

Please be normal and let's keep peace and civility in the fandom.

Despite its faults, Movie 27 was actually really fun and it might just be one of my favourites now. And it's hilarious that the two big reveals that upset everyone happened in the end credits. Like, if you don't watch the last two minutes of the movie, heizuha had a successful confession, kaito and shinichi aren't cousins and kuroba toichi stays dead (as he fucking should)

Also:

The soundtrack was fire

Kaito was just great in this movie

Heiji was out for blood when he went after Kid, like chill dude you don't show this much fervour when there's an actual murderer

Momijis only purpose in the movie was to be a rich nuisance and good for her

I'm glad heiji found conan's M.O. of doing incredibly unrealistic dangerous stunts by having a swordfight on an airplane

Ran saw the plot happen and was like 'I have no time for this shit I need to help heiji confess!!!' and she was so real for this

I don't know if this is actual canon or just movie canon but I really love how kazuha has really good hearing

They made such a huge deal in the beginning that Kid looks like shinichi but then didn't acknowledge how aoko looks just like ran

Another thing I really liked was how it wasn't solely conan who saved the day bc this annoys me sometimes so much

And beside the reveal we all-know-what at the end, it was surprisingly good :'Db

Is it bad that I don't want toichi to be alive? I feel like it ruins his character. I just feel like it paints him in a bad light. The fact that he was alive the whole time and kaito went through so much just because of him. Heʼs literally kaito kid because of him!!! The last thing I want is for kaito to be heartbroken (even though he's definitely gonna be that in the future) THATS MY TWIN IF HE HURTS I HURT!!!

Anyways I'm so excited for movie 27 🥰

Yusaku and Toichi are twin brothers... Their parents divorced when they were little, and Yusaku sticks out with his mother and Toichi with his father. Toichi is still alive and in contact with Yusaku. Rip KaiShin!!!

2. New failed confession of Heiji and Kazuha. I mean, Heiji did confess, but Kazuha didn't listen due to an explosion.

I don’t care about the movie. I’m still going to ship Kaishin. I’m going to continue writing kaishin fanfics, read fanfics written by others, and look at fan art. The movie isn’t going to stop me.

I don’t care about canon. It’s not like Gosho was ever going to make Kaishin endgame. If I cared about canon, I never would have shipped Kaishin to start with.

How could you make kaishin, cousins just to justify their similar looks (and other similarities).....

Yes, I'll forever believe this was the reason why he gave us a cousin reveal (after 20+ yrs!!).... and also cuz kaishin was taking over his canon couple,,, no matter what other reason might be there or what he may give.

You wanted them to be cousins from the beginning? Then why the hell did you wait for over 20 yrs to reveal that??? Yeah no, I am not believing in any of the reasons Gosho gives for "revealing" them as cousins after over two decades.

Canon can go into the trash can and fuck itself (and f u too Gosho).

If they were going to be cousins from the beginning, they should have never given us the kaishin food for all these yrs. Neither in the manga, nor in the movies.

All that poetry Shinichi spouts everytime he is describing Kaito? That one time Shinichi held his dick? Those kissing noises in M 3? That trust they show in each other M 8 (and that train arc??)?? And I can go on and on and on about all the times they added flame to the fire and made kaishin shippers grow into what it is today.

And then suddenly they drop "cousins" on us

And you want me to accept that?? Yeah, no. Not gonna happen.

Kaishin has helped me cope with so many things, I am not gonna drop it, I am not accepting this canon.

If people want to, they are free to do so. If they want to purge their kaishin fanworks, you can do that (tho it would be incredibly sad to loose the fanworks. This fandom has some of the best fics and fanworks i've come across), if you want to leave the ship, you can do that too (which, again, would be very sad, cuz I've met some of the nicest people in this fandom, and it's one of the few fandom ship spaces that is not so tixic... as compared to many other fandom ship groups)

And that's all from me for now over this reveal. I just had to get this out of the system y'know? This reveal sucks. They are giving kaishin akai/akemi treatment, dammit.
