Yeah, I don't think Michael is at the BAFTAs, unfortunately. No reports of him on the red carpet at all, or pictures, so it seems like he is not in attendance. My guess is that this due to the run of Nye ending and him heading back to Wales, but the timing is really quite a shame, considering how unbelievably stunning and delicious and very not straight David looks....

I think it's also likely that David might've known that he was not likely to win, and so as fervently as Michael would have wanted to be there to support his husband, I would not be surprised if David told him it was okay if he wasn't able to attend, especially given the run in Cardiff is starting so soon.

Still, definitely hoping that David and Michael did some Facetiming prior to the event so David could show off this gorgeous suit. I can so easily picture Michael telling him how perfect the suit is and how sexy he looks in it. And if nothing else, we can all be happy knowing that Michael was (and is) undoubtedly incredibly proud of David even just for receiving a nomination. So that is some small comfort...

Well, I remember when Neil had said that it was indeed canon that Aziraphale and Crowley held hands on the bus, so I am surprised that this seems to be new information for a lot of folks. I'm obviously delighted though that David also confirmed it (and quietly thrilled at the thought of David and Michael holding hands for as long as they possibly could until the director yelled "cut"). At the same time, I feel what I have always felt, which is that if this was the representation we all have hoped and wanted it to be, it wouldn't be something we're still unsure about four years later.

If they truly do like holding hands--as we've also been told--I really would have loved to see that celebrated, in the sense of showing Aziraphale and Crowley holding hands without any fuss or fervor at all, as if them holding hands is the most normal thing in the world. But by having it as a "blink and you'll miss it" moment on a darkened bus, it comes across more as something to make a big deal out of, though not in a good way. Granted, it is possible that having it be clandestine was intentional, given that Aziraphale and Crowley were still hiding from their respective home offices at that point, but that seems to run counterintuitive to the way Neil said that they were holding hands and making it out to be this thing he wanted to score points from.

Again, I am glad that the hand holding was confirmed, but I feel such a sharp sense of contrast when I think of that moment in GO season 1 versus Michael and David walking arm-in-arm (and nearly hand-in-hand) onto the One Show earlier this year. What we could have had, and how powerful it would have been...

Last year at Ineffable Con, GO DP Gavin Finney mentioned the moving 360° shot that was originally planned for the Kiss, and ever since seeing this shot with Michael Ian Black and Bradley Cooper in the Wet Hot American Summer prequel, I can't stop thinking about how we could have had this with Aziraphale and Crowley (and Michael and David)...

I will never not be sad by the de-fangification of our female characters on hotd. we could've had all of them serving cunt and warfare/bloodthirstiness but instead they are all 'peaceful' and everything is the men's fault 🙄🥲.

oh, the show we could've had if they just weren't scared of the audiences reactions to powerful decisive women that aren't apologetic about their claims to power and what they believe is their's.

ngl Matangi in Moana 2 was kinda gay. like just a little gay. i mean my girl is a "crazy cat bat lady", calls Moana "babe" twice in her song (the way i audibly gasped in the theater when i heard it lol), and is like sooooo queer coded i love it sm. she just gives off the vibes of sapphic-coded older woman who's played as suave and confident and makes the mc just go "haguphuk" and we all know if this was old disney they would've leaned so hard into that. but i could not have been the only one to keep catching Matangi poking her buttons, the hand on her chin in one scene, just being a total fucking vibe like please i know what you are. that whole scene felt real gay and don't think im leaving Moana out of this one. she is gay, i don't make the rules. i'm stickin with this hc no one can stop me from making Matangi the cool lesbian aunt and NO ONE will stop me from turning Moana gay (Auli'i Cravalho knows what she's doing)

ok im gonna be so real for a second i was simping HARD over Moana's character design in this movie.... like even more than baby me was dying during the first one... like this girl is just- oh my gosh. baby-gay me from 8 years ago would have actually DIED if she'd seen this Moana. it's almost embarrassing how down bad i was during that movie like she's so fucking pretty i wasn't ready for her design. like girls are just too much sometimes, i cant cope .

also side tangent but the lazy ass rewrite of Moana 2 from its planned version as a Disney+ series into a freaking MOVIE was just- so painfully obvious. like they didn't even try reworking it. the structure of the whole movie is painfully episodic and it was just so blatantly shoved into movie format without any care for the integrity of basic movie versus tv structure, so the char dev and pacing was just so rough. like what were the writers even thinkingggg. pretty disappointing but that's ok i have the fandom to make me feel better (moana fan art save me....)

I’d like to think David Tennant and Michael sheen are laughing their asses off at everyone’s reaction of the new clip.

It’s so funny to me how everyone is making fun of Crowley’s beard but then worshipping Aziraphale and praising how good he looks.
