i feel like i'm losing my mind. thor in this episode was OG THOR!!!!

we can do this? can we really do this now????

i loved him he was so great here! there was actual weight to his presence as a powerful being helping them (i don't know who the other people were i'm sorry i just recognized bucky).

no silly jokes but actually a charming personality. he was calm and composed, knew what he was talking about and not, y'know, a bumbling buffon bully. he had cool and POWERFUL moves with both thunder and mjolnir instead of being an npc loser who can't do jack. even the things that could have been comedic like him attacking first and being repelled by the villain were NOT PLAYED FOR COMEDY. they just were. 'by odin's beard' lol! even the suit was thor2 suit. i just???? i'm so happy i want to cry!

What If S2 spoilers ahead!

The second episode hit me in the chest with all the feels. A few random thoughts:

-MIDDLE AGED PEGGY???? YESSSSSSSS. MY GAL. I love all forms of Peggy, including BAMF, non-super Peggy. Peggy doesn't need powers to kick ass. <3

-Kurt Russell does a great job with Ego. I love it when the actor's work plays into why I hate a particular character. Ego is the WORST and Kurt Russell as Ego is super hate-able. A++, love me a villain that I can dislike without any need or want for redemption.

-LITTLE PETER AND HOPE! OMG! Bonding over music! Bonding over shared life experiences! Hope understanding Peter because Hope is also a kid who has dealt with terrible shit thanks to powerful parents! I love them as BFFs. Yes, please.

-BUCKY! Peggy and Howard's reactions to Bucky! Bucky's reaction to Howard pulling the Steve card! DLASKJFLAF

haunted by the 1980s kid quill returns to earth for Ego and gets adopted by the pyms and peggy carter and howard stark are friendly and find bucky much earlier and t'chaka and thor team up timeline of the mcu. what do you mean it includes several references to howard and tony's strained relationship. what do you mean hope van dyne hangs out at shield (and becomes peter quill's brother!) what do you mean the episode ends with all of them hanging out and cooking meals together. blasts me right back to reading kid!tony stark fanfiction when i was in high school. yes all ur favs hung out as kids <3
