Oh no, what happened to Marc?
And why is Bucky forcing her to go to the club when she just wants to stay in and read the most annoying thing he's done so far? 😅
And the way she's accidentally egging him on...it's like she can't let herself think that she likes part of his attention, and so it just keeps spilling out somehow. Which, understandable, because every little tender moment has me ready to forgive him!
Also so curious about the family background, and how Bucky became so dangerous. And low-key annoyed at Marc for not giving her more information because she's "too nice" to get mixed up in anything.
Looking forward to meeting the friends - and Bucky still needs that photo!

You sat in the tub, the cascading water from the shower head flowing over you as you stared at the opposite wall. Normally you welcomed the heat and billowing steam, but you shivered the longer you stayed there. The sound of the water droplets couldn't drown out Bucky’s moans or words from your mind.
“I’m so hard for you. And you’re wet for me, aren’t you? Fuck, I wish I was there to take care of you.”
“You’ll take it. You’ll take me. Like a good girl.”
“Wish I was there to help clean you up and get you dirty all over again.”
With a groan, you leaned your head against the wall. The man jerked off to the thought of you. No one ever desired you like that, at least not that you knew of. More than that he wanted you in his home. By his side. Why? You couldn't grasp why he wanted you so badly.
You also couldn't deny that his words got to you, if your wet your underwear was anything to judge by when you peeled them off. Were you so desperate for a semblance of affection that a few dirty words from a terrifying man turned you on? What did that say about you?
Just like the last couple of days, that was too much to unpack.
“I’m not special,” you whispered.
You could practically see Bucky across from you with sadness in his eyes, the way he looked at you when you argued last night that you weren't special. He didn't believe that for a second. Quite the opposite. He saw something in you that others didn't. Wasn't that what you wanted deep down? To be seen? Cherished?
Not like this.
“Get up,” you muttered, carefully getting to your feet. You weren't going to sit there and feel sorry for yourself. Things could always be worse. All things considered, Bucky hadn't hurt you. Hadn't lied to you either, as far as you knew. Which made your heart ache at that thought of leaving your place behind.
If Bucky kept his promise and forced you to move in, what would you tell your friends? Would they think you were crazy for moving so fast or would they not question it at all because Bucky was rich, handsome, and they would assume he made you happy? You’d say what you had to if it meant keeping them safe, but feared it could possibly put up a wall between you and the group since you couldn't tell them the full truth. Maybe his intention was to drive you away from them and bring you closer to him.
Your head began to ache from the overanalyzing. “I’m not going to think about Bucky Barnes.” Shutting the water off, you pushed the questions and scenarios as far from your mind as possible as you went about the rest of your morning. The rest of the day would be routine, normal, nothing out of the ordinary.
Naturally, Bucky messaged you once you finished getting dressed to prove you wrong. “Thinking of you. Are you thinking of me?”
You swallowed dryly as you typed back to him. It was like he knew you were trying to forget about everything. “I think you want me to think about you.”
It didn't take him long to respond. “Of course, I do. I hope you’re thinking about our chat from earlier and when we can finish it.” The man didn't want to just get in your head. He wanted to get under your skin. “Is it too much to ask for a photo? You have such a beautiful smile.”
You scoffed both from the audacity and boldness. It wasn't enough that he pleasured himself while talking to you, he wanted a photo of you, too? He specifically noted your smile. Was it really beautiful? “Just because you sent me photos of you in your jackets doesn't mean I have to send photos back.”
“Pretty please?”
It was almost cute. “Not today. Sorry, Bucky.”
“That’s okay. Was worth a shot. Maybe I can convince you to let me take a photo when I see you tonight.”
You froze. There it was. Not “if” he’d see you tonight, but “when”. There was no stopping him, was there? Maybe it was that thought that possessed you to goad him because you couldn't otherwise explain why you sent what you did. “You won’t see me because I have plans. But tell you what. If by any chance you do see me tonight, I’ll let you take a photo.”
You blinked and reread your message. Why did you do that? Sending that was as stupid as it was impulsive and would only encourage him.
“Is that a challenge or a promise?”
Your stomach twisted in knots, but you sent one last reply. “It’s whatever you want it to be.”
Bucky was so convinced he’d see you and there was a good chance he would, but you’d make him work for it a little. You wouldn't stick around your apartment. That would probably be the first place he’d look for you.
Catch me if you can.
Your shift went as normal as could be. Steady enough to keep you busy, but not feel overwhelmed. No difficult customers. No surprise visits from Bucky either, though you kept waiting for him to walk through the door.
There was no relief though once you clocked out since you had no idea where you'd hide out for the rest of the day. Everyone you reached out to was busy. Addison, of course, was going out to dinner with Brady and you didn't bother messaging her. Dana had a double date with another of your friends. The rest all had romantic evenings planned, too. They apologized like always.
Was it bad that you were kind of used to it?
A message from Bucky appeared the second you stepped out of the shop. “Any chance you’ll give me a clue where you’ll be?”
You sighed, a sense of weariness seeping in that you couldn't blame on work. “Not a chance.”
“Should I go find you now? I’m a little bored.”
Your gaze darted from left to right. Was he already nearby somewhere watching? “If you're bored, read a book.”
A smile crossed your face when you suddenly thought about where to go. You told yourself earlier you didn't want to think about Bucky for the rest of the day. What better way than to distract yourself with a book? And what better place than your favorite bookstore, Turn the Page?
Before you tucked your phone away, you turned the GPS off just in case Bucky had a way to get access to it. You wouldn't put it past him to try. You wouldn't take your normal route either. It was crazy to think things like a routine could be a bad thing, but Bucky made you question everything.
Walking through the city, you occasionally glanced back over your shoulder to make sure no one was following you. No one looked your way, too occupied with their own agendas as they shuffled around you. Something still felt off, goosebumps forming on your arms and your heart sinking as you felt a pair of steel eyes on you.
You didn't realize you stopped walking until someone nearly collided with you. “I’m so sorry,” you said, giving you the push you needed to move again. Quickening your pace, you reminded yourself it was still light out. People were around. Even if Bucky was following you, what would he do?
You moved forward and didn't look back until you found yourself at the bookstore, taking a calming breath before you walked in. Turn the Page had a cozy and peaceful atmosphere with a range from classic to modern stories. You could spend hours there and feel perfectly at home.
“Hey, Marc,” you smiled at the man behind the counter.
“Hey. Good to see you,” Marc smiled back. He took over the bookstore over a year ago. Friendly for the most part and took pride in the shop. “Anything I can help you find? Just finished setting up some new releases.”
“No thanks,” you replied, selecting a thick romance novel that would pass the time. “I was just going to hang around and read for a bit if you don't mind.”
“Not at all. Can I get you anything to drink or eat? Coffee? Baked good?” He offered, nodding to the tiny cafe area in the corner.
“Just water for now, please,” you said. You probably needed to eat, but you’d wait for your nerves to fully settle. “Can I ask you something?”
“Sure, what’s up?” He asked, going to grab you your drink as you followed.
“Have you heard of The 107th?” You asked. You weren't sure what possessed you to do so. Maybe it was because he seemed like a neutral person to talk to.
“The nightclub?” Mark eyed you curiously. “That doesn't seem like your scene.”
“I’ve only been once. A friend's bachelorette party over a month ago,” you explained, assuming he meant it wasn't your type of scene since you weren't a party girl. “But I may have met the owner recently.”
Marc kept a neutral expression, but noticeably paused before he handed the glass over. “You met Bucky Barnes?”
“Yeah,” you answered, shifting on your feet. “Do you know him?”
He busied himself by cleaning the counter. “Yeah, I know him,” he said, your chest tight. How? “Well, I wouldn't say I know him well. I’ve only met him a couple of times. A lot of the local owners have since he has a hand in quite a few endeavors. Donates to the local hospital and charities, too.”
“That’s nice,” you croaked, taking a sip. If he had a hand in local businesses, was it possible that he met your boss? “He seemed very driven when I spoke to him.”
“That he is,” he agreed, tossing the rag away. “Also dangerous,” he added under his breath.
“Dangerous?” You repeated. The man threatened your loved ones, but why would Marc call him that?
He paused to look at you, his eyes wider than before. “Yeah, but you’re too sweet to get mixed up in any of that, so forget I said anything. Please,” he urged. You wished you could. “He hasn't been poking around your shop, has he?”
“Not that I’m aware of,” you said. You hoped not.
“Sorry, I just assumed since you said you met him. Wouldn't surprise me if he stops in soon though with the anniversary coming up and all.”
“Anniversary of what?” You asked.
“His family. They…” He trailed off when the phone rang at the counter. “Sorry. I need to get back to work.”
“That’s okay. I’ll just start my book,” you said, going to take a seat on the other side of the shop. You took your usual spot on the couch and wished you hadn't said anything. Marc knew Bucky enough to say he was dangerous. And why would he eventually poke around your shop? Anniversary… Flowers…
“I wish you could've met my mom. She would've loved you.”
“She’s gone and that’s a topic for another day.”
You settled further into the couch with a huff. Bucky’s family and endeavors were none of your business. You weren't going to question it any further. You were going to sit and enjoy your book.
That was exactly what you did.
A few customers went in and out of the shop as you lost yourself in the story. It was easy to imagine snuggling with the hero as he whispered how much he loved you and always would. The sweet sort of romance that brought a smile to your face and allowed you to relax against the cushions. You were surprised you didn't fall asleep.
What time was it anyway?
“How’s the book?”
A shiver rolled over you as you peered up from the page and saw Bucky standing in front of you. He wore the blue jacket and his eyes stood out just as you said they would. Where you expected to see triumph in his gaze, there was only curiosity and awe. Like he happened to bump into you by accident instead of intentionally.
“What are you doing here?” You whisper shouted, not wanting to draw attention. While it wasn't a complete shock that he managed to find you, it was a miracle your heart hadn't given out from how fast it pounded over the last couple of days. “How did you find me?”
Did he actually follow you?
He smiled a little. “You’re the one who told me to read a book since I was bored,” he said, taking a seat beside you and slipping his arm around you. You tensed as he pulled you close, but he merely rubbed your arm with his gloved hand until you relaxed. “And finding you was just a process of elimination. I know you didn't go back to your place after you left this morning and there aren't too many places you like to venture by yourself in the city.”
“And just how do you know I didn't go back to my apartment?” You asked.
“I may or may not have an eye on the building,” he said casually. It could've been a joke or serious answer, neither of which were a laughing matter. “Or maybe you knew that would be the first place I’d try to look for you, so you decided to avoid it.”
You bit your tongue. That was exactly what you did. “Or maybe I wouldn't be there since I was supposed to go out.”
He nodded. “You were supposed to go out, but your plans fell through, didn't they?” He asked sympathetically. You didn't want his pity. “If I had to guess, they fell through even before we talked this morning.”
“My original plans fell through, yes,” you confirmed.
He hummed. “Were you embarrassed to tell me?”
You wrung your fingers together. There was no reason for you to feel bad for not telling him. You didn't owe him anything because he wasn't your boyfriend. “No,” you whispered.
“Did it just slip your mind when we talked?” He teased. At least he didn't sound upset or disappointed. Why wasn't he upset? Was he testing you?
“No. I just wanted a night off from being…” you trailed off, not sure how he would react in public to something he didn't want to hear. And what was it a night off from exactly? Being his new girlfriend?
He scratched along his chin, drawing attention to the gray hairs. “You know what I think?” He asked.
“I have no idea,” you replied.
“I think you were testing me because you wanted me to find you. You want me more than you want to admit,” he said. Your mouth fell open, but you couldn't speak. “Otherwise, why push me to look for you? Why hang out in one of your favorite shops knowing I could easily track you down?”
“I didn't…” You took a breath. You didn't want him to chase after you. That wasn't it. “I didn't push.”
“Moyo Kotyonok, you dared me with that message and you know it,” he smirked.
Biting your lip, you didn't deny it any further since he was partially right. You egged him on by offering to let him take a photo if he found you, which wasn't smart. If you had real plans, you wouldn't have done that. But you didn't do it because you wanted him to find you or wanted him in general.
You didn't.
“But we can talk about that later,” he said, gentler than you expected. “I’m sorry about your plans. What happened?”
You finally closed the book in your lap and exhaled. “Addison and I were supposed to hang out, but she’s going out to dinner with her fiancé instead,” you explained.
He narrowed his eyes. “So, she ditched you,” he said, disappointment finally seeping into voice.
You shook your head. “No, she didn't ditch me. We rescheduled,” you argued, quick to defend her. She didn't maliciously blow you off. “Things come up. It happens.”
Bucky smiled softly. “You stuck up for her immediately. I admire that,” he said, shifting to face you more. He practically crowded you. “Why not hang out with another friend?”
You looked at your lap. What was he playing at? “Because my friends are busy,” you whispered. It hurt to say it and it shouldn't. It was just a downside of being the single one in a group of friends who had significant others. No one was obligated to keep their schedules open in case you wanted to hang out.
He tilted your head up. Why wouldn't he just let you hide? “Just so you know, I will never be too busy for you,” he whispered. It wasn't fair that he looked at you like you mattered. “You’re my top priority.”
You ignored the warm sensation that spread from your heart. So many people made you an option. “I shouldn't be,” you whispered.
“But you are and that isn't going to change,” he said, steadfast as always. “And since this shop is going to close soon, why not go to the club with me? It'll be fun.”
You gestured to your comfortable outfit. “I’m not dressed for your club. Besides, I was going to call it an early night after I left.”
His eyes roamed your body with interest before he shrugged and took the book from your lap. “I have that dress waiting for you, but you can wear whatever you want since you look beautiful in anything.”
“Are you listening to what I'm saying? I said I want to call it an early night.” You moved to stand, your limbs tired from sitting. “For someone who claims to care, you don't take my feelings into consideration.”
He reached to grab your hand and took it before you could walk away. “I care more than anyone else,” he whispered vehemently before he took a breath, his eyes burning with passion as he stood up, too. “I’m not ignoring your feelings. It’s a compromise. We won't stay long, so come with me.”
“Thank you for the offer,” you began, trying to put out the fire in his eyes. “But why would I want to go to your club when all I want to do is read and relax?”
“Do I need to remind you that some of my friends will be there and they still want to meet you?” He asked, gently guiding you toward the front of the store. “And I can take your right back to your place after so you can rest. You'll still have an early night.”
He considered that a compromise? “But I-”
“You’ll be in bed before 10. You have my word.” He walked you toward the exit, past the remaining customers, and gave the associate behind the counter a smile before you could protest. “And don't worry about the book. I paid for it.”
“Wait, where’s Marc?” You asked. You hadn't spoken to him since your earlier conversation.
The associate looked at Bucky before she smiled. “I think he went out back for a quick break.”
“Before closing?” You asked.
“Let’s go,” Bucky said, heading out the door with you.
He helped you into the car by the curb as you were still catching up to what was happening. He effortlessly coaxed you out of a store with people around and into a car, alone. The man had no fear.
“Where's Ray?” You asked since the partition was up. “Shocked you didn't send him in to get me.”
“He actually offered, but I wanted to go in myself,” Bucky replied, chuckling at your expression. “And don't worry. He's close by.”
You huffed and stared at the garment bag where your dress waited when he put an arm back around you. “I just wanted some peace and quiet tonight.” But he got you right where he wanted you.
“Like I said, you'll meet my friends and you’ll be in bed by 10.” Bucky dragged his nose along your throat and inhaled your scent. Your eyes closed, but your body didn't freeze up the way you expected it to. “We’ll both get what we want.”
What you wanted didn't matter. “Bucky?”
“Yeah, doll?”
You closed your eyes. “Just how dangerous are you?”
“I’m the most dangerous man in the city, but you're safe with me,” he replied against your skin.
“And what if your friends don't like me?” You asked.
“You have nothing to worry about. They’ll love you,” he promised, bringing his head up to kiss your temple. “But no one will ever love you more than I do.”
Love.
You shuddered. You weren't sure what you feared more. That his friends would love you enough to help keep you by his side or how much Bucky claimed to love you. Because there was nothing more dangerous than a powerful man in love.
Which friend do we think is the most excited to see you with Bucky? Love and thanks for reading! ❤️

It was a lot of fun, being persued by by two Formula 1 drivers.
But they would soon be getting tired of the chase. They weren't going to let you stay ahead of them for much longer.
Warnings: smut, finally bottom franco, technically a threesome but not really, restraints (belt), edging, shower sex, anal (mxm), face fucking, tension?
Anon originally had an idea with journalist reader but I went in another direction :3
The tension between you and Max had been brewing since your rookie year.
You'd instantly taken a liking to each other and hung out all the time whenever you had breaks.
You'd been on his yacht, he'd been to your family's vineyard for some wine tasting. You were good friends, and you knew each other exceedingly well.
And of course it wasn't rare for the two of you to find yourselves battling for positions on track, and even came together a couple of times over the years.
That lead to some pretty heated arguments, you even took a swing at him once. You were both hot-headed competitors, it was inevitable.
Nothing ever happened between you though, you'd always kept a sensible distance to your coworkers.
But you couldn't help being a tease.
You'd put sexy bikini pictures of yourself on holiday in your private story, which only Max had access to.
He figured it out pretty quickly when no one else seemed to know what the hell he was talking about when he asked them about it.
And then Franco arrived.
But he never pushed. If this was a game you wanted to play, he could wait it out, no problem. If you got desperate enough you would come crawling to him, he was sure of it.
Franco was the biggest flirt you'd ever seen. Surpassing the likes of Daniel and Carlos as the smoothest talker on the grid.
He was slightly closer to you in age, so you gravitated towards each other naturally.
You went on holiday with him a couple of times, and you went clubbing a lot.
So pretty soon the rumours shifted from you and Max, to you and Franco.
And there were pictures circulating. You and Max had had your fair share of paparazzi nuisances, but with Franco it was on another level.
It was impossible to see each other without photos coming out the next day.
Some were photoshopped, like the ones of you and him on your yacht, kissing.
Or at least that's what your PR team told the public.
You hadn't slept with him of course, but 4 glasses of wine is 4 glasses of wine.
That's 3 too many if you want to keep a clear head. And day drinking in the sun is a dangerous game when you're alone with a horny man on a yacht.
But you politely rejected his advances, insisting that your relationship was supposed to be professional.
Max saw the photos. Of course he did. And he knew they weren't fake, so the next time he saw you he confronted you.
Much to the chagrin of both of your bodies’ needs.
“So how's it going with Colapinto?” he asked, faking nonchalance while you waved to the fans at the drivers parade.
“Nothing's going on, don't be jealous” you plastered a fake smile on your face for the cameras.
“I'm not jealous” he snapped.
“Sure you aren't, Max. Anyway I keep my love life, and sex life, separate from my career, you know that”
He scoffed, turning away from you to talk to whoever was on his other side.
During the next week you decided to spice things up a little.
The race weekend went by without a hitch, and Max didn't bring it up again.
You sent Max a dirty picture.
Nothing too bad, just you in some lingerie and a see through robe that hid absolutely nothing.
You followed it up with “shit, that wasn't for you sorry”
If that didn't get Max riled up nothing would.
But to your disappointment, he didn't reply.
That night you got yourself off to Franco's answering texts instead. You sent the same picture with the same caption, and waited for him to take the bait.
The next weekend Max cornered you in the paddock on media day.
He’d played the game at least, sending you a delicious picture in return, in the name of fairness.
He dragged you to a quiet corner and caged you in against the wall.
“What the fuck are you playing at?” he hissed, pressing you against the wall.
“What the fuck Max! What are you even talking abou-”
“I'm not fucking stupid, I know that picture was for me”
You sighed.
“No it wasn't, Max”
“Who was it for, then?”
“Wouldn't you like to know” you smirked, which just made him angrier.
“Yes, I would actually”
You pushed him off roughly and he stumbled backwards, taken off guard by your sudden aggressiveness.
“None of your fucking business. And if you want to fuck me, this really isn't the right way to go about it”
The next day, lord knows how, Franco managed to sneak into your driver’s room.
You sauntered off, leaving Max to fume in silence at your audacity.
“I enjoyed that picture very much, you know” he mumbled as he approached you from behind.
He quickly plastered himself to your back, hands on your hips while he felt you up.
“I'm sure you did. But it was an accident” your voice shook as his hands wandered.
He chuckled. “I am not convinced of that”
He placed kisses along the side of your neck, trailing upwards towards your lips as he turned your head to look at him.
“Any chance I can see more?”
His lidded eyes bore into yours and you sighed, pushing him away half-heartedly.
“No Franco. I can't go around sleeping with my coworkers. It's not professional”
He smirked. “Not professional? Tell me, who was that picture for?”
You hesitated a second too long.
“You don't know him.”
He bit his lip mockingly, he knew you were lying. “Okay. I guess will just go then”
Max won the race. He was back on his A-game and you’d spent the second part of the race squabbling with Franco and Alex over 10th place for the last point.
And he did, he slipped out without anyone noticing him, leaving you to contemplate your next move.
You got it, at the expense of Franco's front wing.
“That was a dirty move” he groaned into your neck.
You'd found yourselves back in the same position, him grinding against your ass, this time in the club while the bass made your bodies thrum with excitement.
“If you want to get my attention, crashing into me isn't the right way to go about it”
You shivered, both at his tone and at the fact that you'd said almost exactly that to Max three days prior.
“Why would I want your attention?” you murmured back, enjoying the feeling of his hands caressing your body.
“Darling, we both know you want to fuck me”
You turned around in his hold, giving him the most seductive eyes you could muster.
“No I don't”
He groaned and threw his head back in frustration.
“Don't do this to me. We both want it, stop playing around and let me show you how good I can make you feel…”
You smiled and leaned in.
“But where's the fun in that?”
You removed his hands from you body and slinked back into the crowd.
What you didn't know is that Max was in the DJ booth with Lando, and with his vantage point he could see everything.
Running away, once again.
He saw you slip away through the crowd and over to the bar.
His blood boiled and he decided to take action.
But he didn't make his way to you. He went to see Franco instead.
“Mate I need to talk to you”
“Ok, mate” Franco was confused, but followed him towards the bathrooms anyway, where it was slightly quieter.
“Did she send you a picture of herself last week?” Max was going straight to point.
Franco hesitated. “Who?”
Max rolled his eyes at the younger man “You know who, don't play stupid”
The sudden thought that you might be in a relationship with Max flashed through Franco’s mind.
What if he'd read the situation all wrong? What if Max had found out about the flirting and was actually about to beat him up?
“No?” he answered, but it sounded unconvincing even to his own ears.
Max looked unimpressed.
“Give me your phone”
Franco complied immediately.
Max proceeded to scroll through his messages, and clicked on the conversation with you.
The picture of Franco appeared on his screen first, and he looked up at the man incredulously.
“You sent one back? It was obviously bait. Are you stupid?”
“I know it's all a game to her” he snatched his phone back “but playing it got me a very nice picture of her so who cares?”
“I'm not playing the game and I got the same fucking photo”
Franco frowned at his phone, and had to admit, he had him there. Maybe he had been stupid.
“Well… you keep not playing, and I will keep playing, and we will see who get her to break first?” he suggested.
“No” Max snapped. “I am sick of not playing”
He glanced at Franco's screen, where the photo of you was still visible.
They completely ignored you for two whole weeks.
“She has been teasing us for too long. Now it's time she learned her lesson”…
They avoided you at the weekend, and they never returned any of your calls and messages.
You even tried sending them more pictures, but they both left you on read.
You were bored.
You knew something was up when you spotted the two of them deep in conversation in front of the Redbull garage. They were plotting.
Max was pretty much your best friend on the grid, and you missed messing around with Franco.
So on Saturday night, you sent them both a text you knew they wouldn't be able to ignore.
Well Max might, but Franco would definitely crack.
To Franco, you sent “If you come and fuck me now, I won't tell Max”
And to Max, “If you come fuck me now, I won't tell Franco”
You sent them both your room number, and waited. They both saw the texts immediately.
Max had too much self control, so you doubted whether he would be desperate enough to show.
You waited barely 20 minutes before Franco was at your door.
But Franco…
He was so easy.
You had him on the bed, laying under you while you made your way down his body, picking off his clothing bit by bit.
“I knew you wouldn't be able to resist me”
His pupils were blown wide and a slight blush was creeping up his neck.
“The offer was too good to pass up” he groaned as you rubbed yourself over the bulge rapidly growing in his boxers.
You leaned down and pressed your lips to his, and he took the opportunity to wrap his arms around you and roll you over.
“Your teasing has been driving me crazy” he panted, hovering over you while he made quick work of your clothes.
“Why do you think I was doing it” you muttered with a smile, and his tongue poked the inside of his cheek as he realised how much you'd been enjoying teasing him.
“To make me lose it and come fuck the shit out of you?” he asked, exasperated.
“That's the plan” you bit your lip, looking up at him with a smile.
“Perra” he groaned, sitting up. “Turn over”
You raised an eyebrow at him, doing as he said.
His hands were palming your ass while he admired the view, when a sharp knock at the door broke the tense silence.
Your jaw dropped as you looked back at Franco who was wearing a similar look of shock on his face.
Neither of you knew quite what to do, and the knock sounded again, louder this time.
You jumped to your feet, grabbing a robe on the way and opened the door.
Max stood there, fists clenched.
“Max…”
“Is Franco in there?”
You were taken aback by his question.
“And bear in mind, the answer is going to determine how this evening goes for you”
You raised your eyebrows in surprise, but was saved answering by Franco appearing next to you.
“I am here… sorry”
He looked slightly afraid, and it was understandable, because the grin that spread over Max's face was evil enough to scare even you.
“I had a feeling you would be here” he stepped inside, crowding against you as he slammed the door behind him. “Option number two, then”…
You didn't know what option number one was, but number two involved you having your hands tied to the headboard, while Max had his cock shoved down Franco's throat.
Which is not something you ever thought you would see.
But there Franco was, drooling around Max’s girth with red cheeks and tears in his eyes.
You knew he was enjoying it though, because he was still wearing his boxers and the wet patch at the front was getting steadily larger.
“Look at you” Max cooed “are you crying because you got caught betraying me just to get your dick wet?”
Franco whined, hips bucking at Max's tone.
“Or are you crying because you’re enjoying this a bit too much?”
Franco closed his eyes, more tears falling as he breathed deeply through his nose.
“You were fucking made for this. You've obviously had practice, slut ”
Franco whimpered pathetically and you throbbed at the sound.
You were fully naked, spread out for Max to admire.
“And you” he snapped at you. “You have been teasing me for years, making me wait, while posting pictures of yourself for my eyes only. Then this little bitch arrives and you let him touch you? Absolutely not”
He pulled out of Franco's mouth and manhandled him onto his hands and knees, facing you while Max dragged his boxers down his legs.
Franco's eyes widened as he looked at you, glancing between your thighs at where you were glistening in the soft light.
“You've been playing games with me since you joined the grid. And you would just let Franco have you after a couple of months? Over my dead fucking body”
He pushed Franco down onto the bed, making his arms buckle and his back arch obscenely, and the younger man gasped.
“So I'm going to fuck Franco, and you are going to watch.”
God knows where the bottle of lube came from, but you were grateful for it, on Franco's behalf.
The way Franco reacted when the first finger went it made you gasp softly.
His eyes fluttered closed and he arched his back even more, pushing back against Max as he let out a porn worthy whimper.
You were getting so turned on, you went to close your thighs but Max tutted.
“Franco, hold her legs open”
He obeyed, shuffled forwards and curled his hands around your knees to hold you in place.
Unfortunately, that brought his face closer to your soaked folds and you could feel his cool breath down there.
You whimpered and he groaned, leaning his head against one of your knees as he looked at your slick lips with a pained look on his face.
“Don't you dare touch, Franco” Max growled “You need to learn patience”
He was on three fingers already, and he was entranced by the way Franco's hole swallowed them greedily.
He made quick work of lubing himself up and pushing into the younger man, who mewled at the stretch.
“Jesus, you are tight.” He gritted his teeth as he pushed in to the hilt. “squeezing around me so good, maybe I should give up on her and just keep you as my plaything, hmm?”
He gave an experimental thrust and Franco whined low in his throat as he looked up at you through lidded eyes.
He looked so fucked out it was almost pathetic.
But to be honest, you probably looked even worse.
You squirmed against the bed, unable to get any sort of friction or stimulation as you were forced to watch Max rail Franco into the mattress.
“You're fucking dripping” Max commented, finally glancing at where you could indeed feel the sheets under you becoming damp.
He wrapped an arm around Franco's middle, shuffling him forwards until he was only an inch away from your soaked folds.
“You want a taste Franco?”
The younger man nodded as best he could with Max’s grip his hair.
Max just chuckled and pushed Franco's face forward, allowing him to eat you out hastily.
The sudden intense stimulation made you writhe under him, cursing as he sucked on your clit while his tongue delved into your wetness.
“Fuck! Oh my god-“ you whined, hips trying to buck but Franco's hold on your thighs was too strong as he devoured you.
As your moans increased in pitch, Max could tell you were getting closer and just as you were about to fall over the precipice, he pulled Franco's head back roughly.
You cried out at the loss, and Max just chuckled, slamming his hips into Franco even harder.
“Max please” you whined, and Max cooed in mock simpathy.
He pushed Franco against you once again, revelling in the way he tightened around his cock at being manhandled like this.
He angled his hips so that his cock pushed against Franco's prostate, and the vibrations of the resounding moan against your cunt got you right to the edge once again.
But again, when Max saw your thighs start to tremble, he pulled on Franco's hair to separate him from you.
Tears clung to your lashes as you were robbed of yet another orgasm, and Franco let out a loud moan.
“I'm gonna come, Max!” he cried, and Max just picked up the pace of his hips.
“Then come, I'm not stopping you”
Once Franco had come down from his mind-numbing orgasm, Max pulled out of him carefully and rolled him over, making sure to avoid the puddle of cum now in the middle of the bed.
Franco's eyes rolled back and his upper body slumped against the mattress as Max continued to pound into him while you watched helplessly.
“You can go now, I will take it from here” he muttered as he handed Franco his clothes.
You looked at Max.
He looked at you on his way out, sending you a kiss before the door slammed shut behind him.
He was making his way around the bed to come and untie you from the headboard.
You weren't quite sure what to say to him as you stretched your arms.
He walked into to the bathroom and turned the shower on, then poked his head around the doorway.
“Come and join me”
You got off the bed hesitantly.
Was that it? Were you going to take a shower and then he’d leave? Or stay with you and talk?
You weren't sure which option you hated more.
You got to the bathroom and he was already under the water, cleaning himself without a care in the world.
You approached him, putting an hand on his shoulder.
“Max? Are you angry with me?”
He huffed out a laugh.
“No, why would I be angry?”
He kept washing himself, and you had no idea what to answer.
He had every right to be pissed after all.
He looked at your confused face and chuckled.
“No, I am not angry with you”
You nodded, and he moved over a bit and pulled you under the spray.
He pulled you against his chest and looked down at you.
“I'm not angry, but I am sick of your games”
You gulped.
You could feel him against your hip, he was still hard.
“You didn't come” you muttered, and he smiled.
“Neither did you”
Your heart was beating fast as you stared at him.
“Are you planning to?”
He nodded.
“Oh yes. But you have a choice to make. Either I fuck you now, and we both come.”
His hand came to cup your jaw as his thumb stroked your cheek.
“Or, I leave right now, and you’ll never get to know how good you could've had it these past two years.”
Your jaw dropped, and your cunt throbbed at the idea of finally getting to fuck Max.
“Well?” his other hand trailed downwards to ghost over your folds, dipping in ever so slightly, to confirm that you were still soaked. “What will it be?”
You gasped, head leaning back against the tiles of the shower wall.
“Fuck me, please”
He grinned. “That's what I was hoping for”
He wasted no time turning you around and pushing into you roughly, your wetness easing the slide as he bottomed out on the first thrust.
You both groaned, and he snapped his hips, determined to hear that noise again.
He made you come twice like that, pressed against the shower wall as he took the frustration of the past two years out on you.
He did indeed make you regret not giving in to him sooner.
Later, in bed, you cuddled together after having changed the sheets.
“So tell me Max. If tying me up and fucking Franco in front of me was option number two… what was option number one if Franco hadn't been here?”
He chuckled, pulling you tighter against him.
“If you had been alone, I would have tied you to the bed and left you there alone"
You gasped.
“and Franco?”
“I would have fucked him anyway, to congratulate him for not giving in to you”
You went silent. Thank god for Franco’s weak will.
“Can I fuck him?" you asked "I really want to"
Max nuzzled into your neck and nipped at your skin.
“Of course. As long as I can keep fucking you, I don’t really care”
You hummed and turned your head, looking into his deep blue eyes.
“Sounds good to me”
He smiled, giving you a quick kiss before laying his head back on the pillow.
“Me too”
You giggled sleepily.
Just like you planned.
You had your best friend back, and two men were at your beck and call.

champagne coast - r.c.
where rafe has to watch you moving on.
warnings: mentions of smut, kissing, swearing, heavy angst, might be a happy ending, rafe tries to be better.
notes: SHES BAAAACK. and a little reminder: english is not my first language so be nice! x
my masterlist
———
“i want you to be happy rafe, that’s all i ever wanted”
but what if he can’t be happy without you? what if just your presence made rafe smile? if you want him to be happy, why did you leave? those questions were never asked but god, rafe still do want to know all the answers.
watching you moving on is hard. the first time rafe saw you after the break up, your eyes were red from crying. you never smiled. never wanted to pretend that you’re ok. you still loved rafe after all. even if he was a drug addict, even if he was a mean grumpy man. you really wanted to see rafe as an old rafe who tried to not hate on pogues. who tried to catch up with his sister and be a good older brother.
he really tried to be better. for you. for your future family.
he even wanted to marry you. of course, part of him understands that all those thoughts were in his head because he wanted you to stay with him. maybe he could get you pregnant with his baby. having a little copy of you with those big doe eyes was everything he ever wanted. but looking back, it wasn’t possible. not anymore.
sitting in a country club and watching you working hard was difficult. in the beginning of your relationship rafe made that clear. he never ever wanted you to work there again. not because he wanted you to be in a golden cage, just because men in this club were disgusting. rafe would never forget how you cried in his shirt about another nasty comment about her body. that’s why you decided to quit your job and instead of being a waitress you waited at home for rafe, making a dinner for you two and being like a housewife.
you changed rafe in a lot of ways. so now he doesn’t even want to punch this motherfucker jj in the face, because he is clearly flirting with you. after all, he promised you to fight with his anger.
the last thing rafe wants to do is disappoint you again.
“bro, there many other bitches, just forget about her” kelce said to rafe, laughing.
rafe’s eyes shifted to kelce, anger bubbling up in his blood. nobody gets to talk about you like that. even if you were the one to break up with him, you did it for best.
“if you try to say stupid shit like that again, i won’t even hesitate to punch you in a fucking face. you don’t know anything, motherfucker”.
it was the first time rafe didn’t let his friends say something disrespectful towards a girl.
you would be proud of him, that’s for sure.
after two shitty weeks of your break up, rafe saw you smiling for the first time. and he could swear, his heart melted. of course he wanted you to be happy to, even if it does mean that he won’t be included in your life anymore. as much as it hurts to say, maybe in some time you will start a family with a guy that really deserves you. and rafe always said to you that he didn’t deserve you. well, that’s true. he never deserved your kindness, your patience and mostly, your love.
after a long month, rafe could proudly say that he didn’t do coke for a month and two weeks. he didn’t drink either, except one bottle of a beer at the party. he wanted to start a new life, to try to be someone who would deserve you even if you doesn’t want him anymore.
and of course, you knew about this changes. you promised yourself to keep an eye on him if anything happens. and you were really happy to see him like this. without his stupid friends, that you never liked. without being high and drunk. at some time you would think that it’s your old rafe. who you used to know. and your heart would skip a heartbeat. after all, you still loved him. you will always love him.
sometimes you wanted to kiss him like you used to. to hug him, whisper an “i love you” and kiss like there was no tomorrow. you wanted to feel his hands on your neck, on your waist, everywhere. you missed this feeling of being loved by him, you missed his big eyes and his perfect smile. you missed those rare times you two made love to each other. of course you were obsessed with his dominant side in sex but oh god, when he would lay on you and hug you, and his dick was buried deep in your pussy and only god knows how many times he said that he loved you.
you would look at him in a country club, scared that some chick would hug him and sit in his lap. but not in a month, or two. not after a year after your break up, he still didn’t bring anybody. and if topper told you the truth, he refused to even look at some girl. except you.
there were still some rare moments when you would just sit in your kitchen and there will be only one question.
“what if we were still together”
you tried to imagine your life with rafe, how would everything be okay. and you cried. every time.
after another long night in an empty bad you’ve had enough. even if it is the biggest mistake you’ve ever made, you didn’t want this to be the end. not like that. when everything could possibly be better. when rafe at least tries to be better. because you still love him and some part of you hopes he still does love you. so you made your choice right away, getting your phone from the table.
notes: end sucks, i know. but i am still proud of this one. waiting for your comments!

would actually do anything to hear more about ur arcane rvb thoughts, who are the pilties who are the zaunites i need to knoww
wait okay i haven’t thought this AU out super thoroughly yet but here are my thoughts on what each character would be so far:
church - piltie who moved to zaun because of amnesia reasons. if we’re going along with rvb lore then he is possibly some kinda fucked up clone as a result of dr leonard church experimenting with the arcane.
caboose - zaunite, probably a relatively well known person in the community. known for fixing stuff for people but also breaking stuff.
tucker - zaunite, close to caboose. hangs out at kai’s club/bar a lot. they meet church in zaun and they all sorta just stick together.
tex - zaunite (allison was also a zaunite while leonard was a piltovan) maybe also a fucked up arcane clone of sorts?
wash - low-class piltovan who was an enforcer that got fucked over by the system and had to move to zaun. he becomes disillusioned with piltover. carolina was his CO at one point.
carolina - piltovan. former enforcer mainly because her dad wanted her to be one. similar to rvb lore she goes into hiding in zaun after a bunch of fucked up stuff happens and then she tries to go back and kill leonard with the help of the reds and blues which she meets through wash in zaun.
sarge - former enforcer who was discharged for various mental health reasons. possibly not native to either piltover or zaun so he dgaf about being loyal to either he’s just an enforcer bc being in the military is all he knows. but he ends up staying in zaun after he was forced to quit being an enforcer.
simmons - piltie who got disowned by his father (or possibly exiled) so he moved down to zaun. maybe a former student at piltover academy who got expelled for doing some stupid science shit.
grif - zaunite, lives with his sister in the club/bar that she owns in the lanes. simmons probably moves in with them after getting kicked out bc grif saves his ass from getting mugged and then simmons returns the favour by fixing a bunch of broken stuff at the bar or whatever. also yes grif and simmons still do the organ sharing/cyborg stuff in this AU.
donut - ok i’m actually not sure about him. i feel like he could work as either zaunite or piltovan but i think maybe he could be a firefly
doc - piltovan medic who wants to help less privileged areas in zaun so he often goes between cities trying to provide medical aid
#rvb arcane au#rvb#red vs blue#simmons definitely knows who viktor and jayce are i feel like…#also grif uses shimmer but mostly after his major surgery because of the side effects of it and chronic pain

Moment Of Weakness: Chapter Twenty Three
-gif not mine. credit to owner-
Pairings: Mob!Bucky Barnes x Reader
Content Warnings: language, 18 + smut, angst, fluff, affair, cheating, violence, kidnapping, faking a pregnancy.
Summary: Reader is the assistant to New York's most feared mob boss, James Buchanan Barnes. He had the picture-perfect life: status in the mob, friends, and beautiful wife. So why can't he keep his mind and eyes off of reader?
Authors Note: I just wanted to remind everyone who reads this, there are heavy moments of cheating/having an affair in this story. You might not agree with the actions of "reader" or Bucky but it does pertain to the storyline. If anyone is interested, tags are open for this! Just send me a message or comment!

I let out a deep breath while pulling my jacket closer to my chest as I continued the walk down the busy streets of New York City. It was after six in the evening and everyone was rushing to get home to enjoy the rest of their evening while I was trying to make it to the office in time, before he left.
This wasn’t an easy decision I made, knowing the consequences that could follow. But I didn’t have any other choice. He was the only one that could help me with this.
The thought of if he would even want to help me did cross my mind a few times, especially with how things ended, but there was a small part of me that hoped his feelings for me were still strong. Strictly to help me with my problem, nothing else.
I hadn't talked to any of the three men I used to work with, deciding to stay off of social media because I couldn’t bother to see what happened with Bucky and Natasha. By now, he had to have realized that I was right; Natasha was faking the entire pregnancy.
Yet, I hadn’t heard from him so maybe he still decided to stay with her.
You told him to stay away. Eight months ago.
Shaking away the thought, I turned the corner and the all too familiar building came into view as with one last deep breath, I pushed through the door and my eyes landed on the person sitting at what used to be my desk. My heart hammered in my chest as his scent filled my senses.
“Well, it seems like the job isn’t available anymore, huh?”
He turned around in a haste in the chair, eyes grazing over every inch of me to make sure I had been standing in front of him.
The last time we talked was a few months ago and we actually hadn’t seen each other since before I quit. He looked the same, hair and beard a bit longer.
“Hi Steve,” I smiled.
“Y/N?”
Steve was quick on his feet to wrap his arms around me and lifted my body off of the ground a few inches. I closed my eyes at the warmth, silently missing him just as much.
“How have you been?” Steve asked while setting me back onto solid ground.
I nodded. “Good, I guess. How have things been here?”
Steve hesitated, his shoulders going stiff. “Have you talked to him at all?”
This time I shook my head so Steve gently led me to the couch in the main area of the office and we sat next to each other. He scratched at his beard, trying to find the right way to say this.
“He’s gone rogue the last couple of months. He doesn't need mine or Sam’s help for anything, he takes care of the problems himself.”
I pointed towards his office. “Is he here?”
Steve shook his head. “I haven't seen him all day. He called me earlier to say he’s got something to take care of so he’s going to be at Power Brokers tonight.”
My eyes narrowed. “He hates that club. Why would he go there?”
“I don’t know,” Steve sighed. “He doesn’t tell Sam or I anything anymore. We only show up here now in case he needs us.”
“Are he and Nat-?”
He placed a hand on my knee, stopping the words. “That’s something Bucky has to talk to you about.”
With a slow nod, I contemplated my next move because I knew that if I went to Power Broker tonight, it would be a disaster from the start. That club was highly known as a black market, people trying to sell you things that you couldn’t buy anywhere else. But if you didn’t agree to it it would be highly unlikely that you would make it back out alive.
“Are you going to tell me why you showed up tonight?”
I gave Steve my attention now and shrugged. “Trust me, I would rather go to anyone else with this but Bucky is the only one that can help me.”
He cupped my cheek. “Please be careful.”
“Always,” I covered his hand with my own.
The music of the club vibrated against my bones as I maneuvered my way through the seas of people, who did their best to either dance with me or sell me on their latest project they had hiding in their pocket. I ignored all of them, keeping my focus on finding the one person that I needed.
When I asked the bouncers outside if they had seen Bucky, they were quick to give him up.
“He’s been causing problems here all night but refuses to leave. The men we have here isn’t nearly as strong as he is to kick him out.”
I was on high alert, skin tingling with my senses, as I observed the giant open dance floor of the club until some commotion at the bar piqued my interest. I watched as a guy was thrown onto the glass bar top, black and gold fingers wrapped around his throat.
“Where is she?!”
The voice was deep, angry, and wanted to know the answers.
My heart beat intensified as I marveled at how different he looked yet looking exactly the same. The brown leather vest that covered his broad chest was missing a sleeve, his entire vibranium arm on full display. He didn’t look like a mob boss any longer but more so a soldier.
The heat pooled between my legs but I squeezed them shut, knowing that now wasn't the time to think about that.
“I swear, I don’t know where she is! Last I heard, they were in Budapest!” The man struggled for his life under the tight grip around his throat.
“They were together?”
The man on the bar nodded, as best he could. “That’s what my guys tell me.”
As I saw a glimmer of sharp metal emerge from the pocket of the other man's vest, I finally decided to speak up.
“Bucky.”
My voice might have been hushed with the background noise of the club but I knew he heard because Bucky looked away from the man he had pinned, his once blue iris now dark stared back at me. The firmness in his body faded with his face softing, as he dropped the man to the floor below.
“Doll?”
I swallowed thickly at the old pet name because I couldn't get distracted, I needed to finish what I came for.
“I need your help,” I admitted with a sigh.

sweet melody, part two
jude bellingham x black reader
summary : elena wants revenge on her ex-boyfriend, who cheated on her, and jude will help her.
wc : 1165
part one
Jude couldn’t shake off the strange feeling that overcame him ever since he laid eyes on Elena. His inner voice yelled at him to stand up and go find her in the bathroom, but his body refused to listen. So, he stayed at the bar, lost in his thoughts, wondering if she was fine and if she needed a shoulder to cry on. The young man closed his eyes and took a deep breath. The music faded gradually, along with Enrique’s voice. For a moment, Jude felt like he was in his own world, an island in the middle of the ocean, with nothing but Elena filling his thoughts.
He couldn’t put it into words what he was feeling right now. It was unlike anything he ever felt before. Jude couldn’t explain why she attracted him so much, but he sensed a certain connection with her, a bond only they could understand. His heartbeat intensified every time he thought about the moment their eyes met. A smile tugged at the corner of his lips. Enrique noticed and couldn’t hold back his laughter.
The Englishman looked towards the bathroom door, hoping to see the young woman. He didn’t know how long it had been since she locked herself in there, but it felt like an eternity. Once again, the little voice in his head shouted at him to get up, but before he could, the door opened, revealing the person who made his heart beat. Elena walked into the club with a newfound energy, fuelled by a burning desire for revenge. A radiant smile lit up her face, and her confidence grew with every passing second. She attracted everyone’s attention, as if she was the star of the nightclub. Jude couldn’t take his eyes off her, and his heart skipped a beat when she stopped in front of him.
“Is this seat taken?” Elena asked, her voice sounded like music to Jude’s ears. He found her slight accent very cute, though it could go unnoticed unless you paid close attention.
“No. You can take it.” She nodded in response and sat next to the footballer. She felt the warmth Jude radiated, which surprisingly brought her some comfort. Normally, she’d go out of her way to avoid talking to strangers, but this time, it was different.
“Hey, what can I serve you, young lady?" Enrique’s sudden appearance startled Elena, who shyly turned towards the bartender.
"I’ll just have water, thank you." The middle-aged man nodded while writing her order, along with the others on his list. Jude noticed the subtle change in Elena’s attitude, and how she tried to keep the conversation short with the bartender.
"Can I have more water, please?” Jude said, holding out his glass towards the bartender.
“I should start charging you for refills, Jude. This is your third time. Are you trying to put me out of business?” Enrique teased, raising an eyebrow, and the Englishman responded by rolling his eyes. Elena watched them arguing like cats and dogs over the most insignificant thing. While the two men bickered, she pulled her phone out of her tiny bag. Notifications from the group chat she had with her friends flooded her screen. The young woman looked around her, searching for a familiar face, but found none.
“Looking for someone?” Jude asked, and she nodded.
“I’m looking for my best friend, Sierra. The girls are blowing up our group chat, asking where she is. I checked her location, and it says she’s still here, but she’s probably somewhere with a guy." She shrugged.
"This happens every time we go out. She disappears, then suddenly reappears and tells us all the crazy details. But I get it, though. She’s the most beautiful, hilarious and intelligent person I know. You never get bored when she’s around. So yeah, I can’t blame any guy for falling for her."
Elena’s eyes sparkled as she spoke about her best friend, a sign of the deep affection she felt for Sierra. Their friendship meant the world to her, and she couldn’t imagine what she’d do if it suddenly ended.
“Well, I should probably go because the girls are blowing up my phone again. It was nice to talk with you, Jude.” Elena got up from her seat and grabbed her glass of water.
"Wait..." Before Jude could even ask for her name, she had already disappeared into the crowd. “What an idiot.” He muttered under his breath.
"Why didn’t I ask for her name?” He sighed, placed his glass of water on the counter, then stood up. His feet moved before his mind could react. Moments later, he was near the dance floor, where Elena had just stopped. From where he stood, he saw her body trembling slightly. Confused, he moved closer to her, only to see her tearful face.
“What the fuck?” Elena said. She couldn’t look away from the scene unfolding before her, and felt her heart break, as if a blade had pierced her chest. For a second, everything around her disappeared, except for Alejandro and Sierra, who were kissing on the dance floor.
“How could you?” Her voice barely rose above a whisper, drowned by the music, but it was loud enough for Jude to hear.
“What have I done to deserve this?” The young woman couldn’t believe her best friend would stoop so low. However, she wasn’t surprised by Alejandro. After all, he had cheated on her and didn’t even try to deny it when Elena confronted him.
“My best friend and my ex…” Elena stopped mid-sentence when a soft, unexpected warmth seized her wrist. She looked up to see Jude gazing at her with a softened expression. He wiped away her tears, and without thinking, Elena buried her face in his chest and let them flow. Normally, she would have run away, but she felt oddly comfortable in his presence.
“Come with me,” he whispered in her ear. She nodded, too tired to fight back, and followed him towards the exit door while staring at the floor.
“Oh, Elena....” Sierra murmured as she watched her best friend leave the club with Jude. A knot formed in her stomach, and her pulse quickened when she locked eyes with Alejandro. She forced a slight smile to hide her sadness, knowing that this moment would mean nothing to him tomorrow.
Sierra stared at the exit door, her eyes filled with tears. She bit her lips, her heart heavy, as she reflected on all the moments they shared. However, a shadow hung over each of them, reflecting the jealousy she always felt towards her best friend.
“Did I ever tell you that I'm not doing well? You see, jealousy is incurable and I'm sick of you.” Elena’s presence served as a brutal reminder to Sierra that she would always finish second, that she would always remain the second choice, her understudy, and that she’d never step out of her shadow.
"I've always hated you."

no yandere simulator au: questions for ocs!
characters mentioned: shin, shuu @oya-oya-okay
1. Does your OC have parents or family in the AU? If not, what is their current living situation?
Shin's family consists of their father, stepmother, and stepbrother. The Higashikuramori name carries significant weight in their home country. Though Shin currently lives abroad alone for high school, far from the place where their last name is recognized more often.
(Rumors once circulated about the youngest Higashikuramori being disowned and kicked out, but these whispers were swiftly and quietly suppressed, as if someone influential intervened behind the scenes.)
2. What are their thoughts on Quartz?
Shin didn't even know Quartz's name until they started investigating the suspicious incidents involving Azul. Now, Quartz is one of Shin's top suspects based on gathered evidence. Shin keeps Quartz under close scrutiny—especially with their friend Shuu's interest in getting to know Quartz.
3. What is their thoughts and relationship with Azul? How did they meet Azul?
The annoying senpai that Shin prefers to avoid. People like him, who hide behind fake masks, remind Shin too much of the high-society world of networking and business they grew up around—suffocating and insincere. Shin first learned of Azul during a school-wide assembly during which the student council is introduced, but it was Azul who approached Shin first, likely hoping to exploit their detective reputation or family connections.
4. What are their relationships with other characters/OCs?
Rook: "Roi de Détective? They are delightfully unpredictable, if I may say."
Rook finds Shin's skills and behaviors both fascinating and entertaining. As another eccentric science club member, he often encourages their wild experiments. Rook is one of Shin's favorite seniors who matches and encourages their eccentricity. He also knows how to be serious and provide helpful advice, even if it comes wrapped up in poetic and flowery words that Shin has to unveil first.
Shuu (@oya-oya-okay): "They're my best friend! Aren't they really cool and smart?"
Shuu is Shin's best friend, though Shin isn't sure how it happened. Their middle school classmates often avoided Shin for various reasons ("too eccentric", "peasant blood", "bastard kid"). Shuu is the kind of person who has a way of getting under Shin's guard, and Shin has grown to care for her. Now, Shin tries to protect Shuu from associating with shady people like Quartz and Azul, but they seem to be failing on the latter.
Riddle: "Shin? *Huffs* They have a sharp mind, no doubt, but they don't take school seriously."
Riddle once caught Shin skipping class and wasn't happy about it (a wide understatement—he was furious). He disapproves of Shin's laid-back attitude towards school and often clashes with them over it. Nevertheless, he does acknowledge Shin's intelligence and accomplishments (he learned about them in the morning newspapers).
5. What grade/year is your OC?
Shin is in their first year of high school (16).
6. What is your OCs goal for the school year or in life?
Shin is just minding their own business (which is kinda hard with the kind of students in this school) and enjoying their freedom, finally away from their traditionalist family's suffocating supervision. They hope to establish their growing reputation in the criminal investigation circle, with Shin already becoming a familiar face at the local police station, and eventually achieve full independence.
7. Your OC is being framed for murder of another student by Quartz, how does your OC react to that? Does your OC know it's Quartz?
Shin stays surprisingly calm, having long learned to remain calm under pressure. They trust in their skills to prove their innocence. The evidence will always eventually lead to Quartz, no matter how well she covers her tracks. Shin also has a good reputation among the police forces; hence, framing Shin is risky, it will always increase Quartz's chances of getting caught.
8. Your OC notices Quartz carrying a weapon in her skirt pocket. That's strange since the female school uniforms don't have skirt pockets. Does your OC report this?
Not immediately. Shin doesn't care if people make modifications to the school uniform, and other students also carry suspicious items around. After all, Shin's been keeping an eye on those students, but nothing illegal has popped up (yet). However, since Quartz is already on their radar, this discovery just adds more fuel to the fire. Shin will first add this to the growing pile of evidence against Quartz, and may anonymously report it if it doesn't cause any setbacks to the investigation.
9. Where is your OC usually with or at during school? Classes? With Azul? Skipping class? Where do they eat lunch?
Shin spends lunch with either Ace, Deuce, and Shuu, usually at the cafeteria or picnic bench. When not in class or club, they're often wandering the school following up on leads. Shin attends classes halfheartedly, takes minimal notes, and occasionally skips classes—not because they don't want to attend but more that they have more pressing matters (like catching the culprit).
10. How are your OC's grades?
Shin consistently ranks at the top of their class, much to the frustration of their classmates who see them skipping class or barely paying attention. Well, at least in exchange for snacks, lunch, or cash, Shin is willing to share scarily accurate test predictions, calculated based on past assignments and teacher's personality. However, they don't care to tutor unless it's for their friends, so this is the best others can mooch off of Shin's intelligence.
(No Yan Sim AU) Questions for OCs! + Quartz and other characters' lore
You don't have to do these if you don't want to! You can write and answer how ever you want (3rd person or as the OC)
These answers are just examples and they also give lore to other TWST characters in the AU
1. Does your OC have parents or family in the AU? If not, what is their current living situation?
Riddle currently lives with his mother. Because of her influence, he is the strictest in the student council (which consists of the dormleaders.)
2. What are their thoughts on Quartz?
[You can yap about it here since I already used Quartz as an example in the fourth question]
3. What is their thoughts and relationship with Azul? How did they meet Azul?
Jade is Azul's right hand man. He assists Azul with a lot of student council work and is mostly by his side with Floyd. They are friends from their middle school days and up to their highschool days (although the three of them won't admit it).
Jade found Azul's hardwork and scheming nature very exciting so he and his brother always stayed by Azul's side to see what fun events would happen.
4. What are their relationships with other characters/OCs?
[They are speaking about Quartz as example]
Floyd: "Who again?"
Floyd doesn't really acknowledge Quartz since she's so quick out of his sights. Genuinely believes there isn't a person named that but is suspicious.
Jade: "Oh, that shy girl? She's a little funny."
Definitely suspicious of Quartz but they don't interact much so he has no other information about her. He probably needs to be more skillful when studying her.
Riddle: "Quartz?.. Uh.. I-I don't recall who that is."
Quartz rarely interacts with Riddle.
Ace: "Ah? You mean that girl who's always so weird? I've seen her watch Azul. Pffftt! Do you think she likes him?"
He notices her sometimes because he thinks her appearance is a little flashy.
Idia: "I-Isn't she one of Azul's admirers?... She's the shy type right? She's a little strange though.. Sometimes she takes photos of me! W-Wait.. Maybe she's into me instead?! EEEKK!! H-HOW SCARY!!"
Completely misunderstands Quartz's actions but he's quick to know how weird her actions are. He stays away from her if Azul isn't present.
5. What grade/year is your OC?
Azul, Jade, and Floyd are all 2nd years (17).
Leona has been held back so he is still 20.
6. What is your OCs goal for the school year or in life?
Quartz wishes to kill Azul 🙏
7. Your OC is being framed for murder of another student by Quartz, how does your OC react to that? Does your OC know it's Quartz?
Floyd is jumping her.
8. Your OC notices Quartz carrying a weapon in her skirt pocket. That's strange since the female school uniforms don't have skirt pockets. Does your OC report this?
Riddle is absolutely reporting that! He's calling the cops and everything 🫡🫡🫡
9. Where is your OC usually with or at during school? Classes? With Azul? Skipping class? Where do they eat lunch?
Quartz is always in class but she'll come right before the bell rings since she was.. busy. She doesn't have a particular place she goes to all the time. She's never in one spot.
Quartz's lunch spot varies because she's always spying but her usual spot is in the courtyard.
Riddle is assigned being a hall monitor so he usually watches the halls when he is able to. He usually eats lunch with Trey and Cater.
Leona is always found napping under trees and skipping his classes. Ruggie manages to find him and give him his lunch from the cafeteria.
Rook is watching you.
10. How are your OC's grades?
Deuce tries, ok. (Awful)
#hopefully i got shuu’s personality correct!#I think I went overboard#lemme yap & overexplain#I dont write (except for academic essays) so I just kept revising and editing lol#why am I taking this so serious this isn't going to be graded#twst au#no yandere sim au#twst oc#twisted wonderland oc#twisted wonderland#shuu#twst#twst yuu#.🎀 yuvoc: shin#.🎀 yuvoc#.🎀 re:yudi#.🎀 yuconnect

[3:49 am] ♡ + drunk!reader, caring!jungwoo
you’ve been out with your best friends celebrating their engagements all night. you had spent all day yesterday helping their partners plan both proposals, one was an intricate scavenger hunt through their favorite hiking trails and the other was a surprise photoshoot with an elaborate background. it was really difficult keeping the both of them distracted for the day, considering how close the three of you are but you made it happen. it warmed your heart to see their faces as their partners popped the question. it left you with just the smallest bit of jealousy though, things with jungwoo are great but you’re not sure what the next step is if not an engagement and that worries you.
things are starting to slow down at the club and you’re missing jungwoo and his warm embrace. your friends are starting to float towards the bar to order glasses of water, and you’re starting to think this is the perfect time to call it a night.
“i'm starting to get tired,” you drag out the word tired to emphasize your exhaustion. they both nod in agreement, this has been the latest you guys have stayed out since college.
one by one, each of your ubers showed up to take you back to your respective homes and partners. you’ve had quite a bit to drink so your reaction time is severely off. jungwoo startles you as he swings the front door open while you search for your keys.
“jeez, you scared the crap out of me!” your hand is over your heart trying to get it to slow while he looks at you. jungwoo mumbles a half coherent apology as you take in his appearance. his hair is disheveled, he’s in his pajama pants, and no shirt. you assume he was sleeping before he heard the uber pull in the driveway. he’s pulling you inside before you can even form any kind of greeting.
“i’ve been waiting for you for hours y/n,” jungwoo walks you to the couch to help you take off your heels. “you told me you’d be back by 2 am, not 4 am, baby.” you can hear the concern in his voice, you clearly worried him.
“i know and i’m sorry, we were only supposed to go to two bars but we were having so much fun and got a little carried away. i should’ve texted you.” your voice is small, you know what you did was wrong.
“yeah, you should’ve,” jungwoo’s tone is sharp as he’s helping you take off your jacket and the hair pins from your hair. “i could’ve picked you up, y/n. you know how i feel about ubering this late.” the guilt is racking up by the second and all of the emotions from the night are starting to make your throat close up.
“i’m really sorry i worried you jungwoo,” your voice started to crack and he immediately took you in his arms, obviously regretting using such a stern voice on you when you’re drunk.
“i’m sorry i’m being snappy, baby. it’s just late and i haven’t slept since you left.” jungwoo’s voice is just above a whisper as he tucks your head under his chin. he’s rubbing small circles into your hip as you curl into a ball next to him.
“do you want to marry me?” the question comes as a surprise to both of you after it leaves your lips. it’s a question you’ve been wanting an answer to for awhile, you were just unsure of how to ask it, turns out being blunt was the best way to get it out.
jungwoo’s silence is deafening to you, it feels like it goes on for minutes when in reality it only takes him thirty seconds to give you an answer.
“1000% yes. that’s a no-brainer, my love. i want to spend the rest of my life with you. i love you.” you can hear the smile on jungwoo’s face and your heart warms after he tells you exactly what his intentions are. you prop yourself up on your knees to see his face, just looking at him makes you smile ear-to-ear.
“i love you too, jungwoo. so much.” he smiles back at you, his eyes leaving yours for a second to steal a glance at your lips before leaving you breathless in a heated kiss.

COME ON IN! COME ON IN! Welcome Notti's "Not So Innocent" Notebook where I write some filth to make your Thursday a little bit better <3 || 18+ mdni pls and ty
Gangster!Danny runs the streets. Every club and bar in your little town he owns. Too bad you're such a pretty thing that comes into his club often. Your father has always told you to avoid Daniel, but after you start a secret affair with him, you can't stay away.
an: first of all, anyone who knows the lyric that inspired this, can i ask for your hand in marriage? like, actually. second of all, gangster au has my heart. like i'm a whore for gangster au so much. oh- the camera was rolling?! shit, that was off script...
taglist: @orangeblossomsintheair
You shouldn't be here. It wasn't right.
Daniel Ricciardo was trouble. Your father had specifically told you that when you'd started to go to his clubs more often. Don't get involved with the Ricciardo Gang, he said. They're trouble waiting to happen, he said.
But there was something alluring that kept you coming back. Daniel was different. He wasn't like the rest of the lackeys in his gang. He was purer, you could see those cracks whenever you spoke to him on an intimate level, the desire to get out of his gang lifestyle evident in his speech.
Danny liked running the clubs. He enjoyed the razzle dazzle and the clientele that came along with it. The man was a charmer, an intoxicatingly gorgeous charmer, but anyone could tell you that. But what he didn't enjoy was the men with guns and the bounties on people's heads. The protection rackets he'd had to have put in place as a result of owning nearly all the casinos in town, the enemies that came along with being this gangster he didn't want to be.
You'd caught his eye the first time you'd stepped inside one of the lavish nightclubs near your little home on a side street. Danny had already acknowledged how out of place you looked with the aristocrats, the way you lurked timidly in the shadows, the innocence in your eye when you choked on harsh liquor you'd never been exposed to. It made his heart flutter.
Quick glances became small talk. Small talk became long nights. It was dreamy. Your heart warmed with his teases, smooth flirts, loving words; your senses soon came accustomed to the booze he sold and supplied cheaply, your flushed cheeks radiating whenever he got you a little too tipsy.
You were cute to Danny and that's all that mattered.
“What would your daddy do if he saw you here, huh?” His words were teasing, they had a bite to them. A smirk moulded onto his lips as his brown doe eyes stayed locked onto your's. “You know I'm trouble, don'tcha princess?”
The words rolled off his tongue so smoothly. It was intoxicating. It was wrong. It was thrilling. A cocktail of emotions swam around in your gut, swirling into anticipation as you batted your eyelashes, twirling some strays of your hair around your finger ever so slowly.
“Maybe you are trouble,” you giggled in response, biting back your bottom lip before letting it pop back. “But you're the one who offered to buy me this drink,” you added with a knowing look, a cheeky smile forming on your soft lips, “so I think that makes us even.”
A raised eyebrow followed. “Oh, is that so?” He questioned, leaning in a little further, his face merely inches away from your own. It made your breath hitch, the intensity of the distance between you both becoming suffocating. The nagging voice in your head telling you it was wrong made it seem oh so right. “Little miss has got some spunk on her, I see.”
Your eyes lit up, giddiness fluttering around your whole body. The electricity of the intimacy and playful banter set your body alight, the moment making your heart pound like an overpowering drum. This whole ordeal was wrong, you couldn't go against your father, but it felt right. Daniel Ricciardo was trouble, but he'd soon be your trouble.
“I try,” you responded as dryly as you could, lips toying with the straw in your cheap gin and tonic as you took small sips every so often. “You don't scare me as much as my daddy wants you to, Danny,” you highlighted with a raised eyebrow before sipping again, the words rolling off of your tongue like thick honey. Smooth and sweet.
“I know I don't, darling,” he quickly answered with an amused scoff. “If I scared you, then we wouldn't be here,” his voice lowered whilst his face edged forward even more, nose now nudging your own slightly as his elbows came to rest on the wooden bar comfortably.
“So you're not even scared of what my daddy would think?” the question so innocently asked by yourself made him chuckle in response. You really were stupid.
“Are you scared of what your daddy would think?”
“Sometimes,” you whispered with a soft look, “but I suppose that doesn't matter.”
“How come?” Danny questioned with more of a little smile that had formed on his lips.
“I'm good at keeping secrets,” your hot breath brushed against his face in that moment whilst you murmured.
“So if I kissed you right now you'd be able to keep it a secret, huh?” Danny challenged with a knowing look, a hungry glint shining in his eye.
At that moment you should've been afraid. You should've ran, the glimmer in his eye meant trouble. A good type of trouble nonetheless. A trouble so enticing that any girl wanted it when entranced in Danny's charm.
“Depends if you're a good kisser or not,” you teased, batting your eyelashes as his breathing became less controlled.
“Is that a challenge, sweetheart?”
You responded with a nod, cheeks burning. The sweet look of your face was all Danny needed to see the green light. A large hand cupped your burning face, his nose coming down to nuzzle against your's, lips hovering dangerously before he planted a gentle kiss on your mouth.
A soft moan was suppressed as your hand followed to cup his stubble, melting into his lips as they burnt into you. The moment was raw, so passionately beautiful as your lips slowly parted from each other ever so slowly. A sheepish smile plastered on your face as he smirked at you, his brown eyes fixed on yours.
“Was that more to your liking, princess?” He chuckled, grabbing his tumbler of whiskey, before downing the remnants of amber liquid in one gulp, allowing the alcohol to burn his throat.
You were too much in a flustered daze to answer his question. Mind fuzzy from the intimacy of the gentle peck, you blinked in disbelief for a few moments, the bustle of the nightclub becoming a blur.
He snorted slightly upon seeing your reaction. “I'll take that as a yes, pretty girl,” he mumbled his voice as thick as tar, brushing a loose strand of your hair behind your ear ever so tenderly with a smile you'd never forget in a million years. <3

The president of our philosophy club was a genius, kind, and passionate about justice. Miserable all the time. And then she transitioned. A few months after she started HRT, I saw her smile for the first time. I was smitten. Her family was awful, so I invited her to stay with me and my parents for Christmas. When my family found out from my mother that I was "having a girl from college stay over for Christmas", they immediately mobilized to get her gifts. "What size does she wear? What kind of makeup does she like?" And, of course, a lot of gift cards. The way she smiled on Christmas day is written into my heart.
Nothing ever happened between us romantically; she wasn't ready to date so early in her transition, and then we graduated moved away. But my great fear is that I'll never again feel the way I felt looking at her beautiful face that Christmas. That I wasted my life.

He felt a sense of relief in knowing that he wasn't the only one that didn't know how to start off. It was always an awkward conversion for him as he rarely had any interest in pursuing anything further than a physical relationship with a woman. But seeing as marriage was the end goal in this, it only made sense for them to start with some sort of exclusivity as they made themselves comfortable with the huge step that they would be making at some point.
"I'm okay with setting some ground rules for the time being and I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but I don't want to do a label right now. Not in this moment - it feels disingenuous after what happened and I feel like it will do the same for you. I don't want you to feel like 'Oh he shagged someone else and then asked me to be his girl when I found out about it', it's kinda fucked if you think about it." he explained, hoping that she would agree with him on this. Eddie had his own way of how he wanted to take that step in their relationship and it didn't include a fight between the two and him having to make up for it. Maybe he was being quite particular about the whole thing, but it didn't feel right and he didn't want to rush into it unless it felt genuine for both.
Eddie nodded his head, feeling a little bad for perhaps assuming that she had her own people she entertained. In his experience most single people did and that was fine. He wouldn't have judged or been upset had she said otherwise. "I don't think I have any ground rules. I mean, if we're agreeing to only see each other, it works both ways. Flirting is just as you said - like it is what it is. I'm not typically a jealous person anyways. As long as we're both honest and communicate like adults, I think it'll be good." the man said with a slight shrug. "I do travel quite a bit and I'm usually gone for days so I don't want that to become a thing later. Or like whether I'm out in a club or off in a yacht somewhere. I like to have fun. And if you can't join, I will be going anyways. I'm not a homebody - I'm pretty sure I get hives if I stay inside too long." the man joked at the end, hoping to lighten the mood a bit.
Lia was happy at the moment that despite this slip up she really wasn’t being given any reason to doubt what Eddie was saying. She could see how he was feeling and it really did make her understand that he hadn’t intended for things to be this intense this soon. But here she had been thinking it was, it was a simple matter of miscommunication on both of their parts if she was being completely honest. Lia was very glad that things were moving on though, because if she thought too much she might have upset herself again.
Lia watched Grace leave, nodding a polite thank you to her as she moved out of the room. It seemed that she had a good idea what had happened considering it wasn’t that far and they weren’t exactly quiet about it. Something about having someone like that around made a smile form on her face, of course, she had people like that. That being said her own personal assistant was still someone who tried to sleep with her father to get her hands on Lia’s own riches. That definitely didn’t work out for her assistant in the long run considering she was still Lia’s personal assistant.
Lia took her seat and thanked him, far be it for her to not still be polite despite everything that happened. She picked up a piece of orange and nodded, “I’m feeling the same, not quite sure where to begin really.” she nibbled at the orange slice and thought for a moment. “I think this needs a label and a few ground rules. For one, I don’t care if you flirt conversationally, but I do care if there’s anything beyond that. Sometimes a gentle little bit of flirting gets a deal done, I’ve very much learned that lesson.” She shook her head, humming softly. “No, I’ve done casually recently, but not since I met you.”

Chapter 1: Time Signatures
Ichijiku (Tigress)
In another life, listening to the pulsating beat of the music in the club might be fun. I might feed off of the voices singing at the top of their lungs, or delight in the changing colors flashing all around the dance floor.
But I’m not living in another life. I’m living in hell.
“Give her another shot.” Kigai’s voice rises over the crowd as he gives me a look. Don’t you tell a goddamn soul what I’m doing or you won’t live to see the sunrise. His quirk stretches into my mind and reminds me just who I belong to. Of course, the bruises littering my thighs are testament to that too. Kigai would never let me go out in anything other than skinny jeans, so it’s not like anyone can see, though.
No one ever sees.
The bartender gives me a smile and I play the perfect part of being his playful partner, leaning over to give Kigai a kiss on his cheek, a loving gaze, and a swat at his butt while bile turns over in my stomach. I throw back the shot of tequila before Kigai puts his hands at my hips and looks directly at me. You’d better get out on that dance floor and pretend you’re having a good time. People have started looking at you. “Why don’t you go have some fun, sugar? I know you don’t feel good, but the dance floor has always helped you clear your mind.”
He plants a slow and tender kiss on my lips, but all I feel is dread. I want to feel happy. I want to feel a flutter in my chest. I want to feel anything. Anything but Kigai.
You’re mine, Ichi. And don’t you forget that. His eyes bore into mine and then he turns away, laughing at a joke Shihito tells him. I can feel his gaze follow me as I put on my brave face and walk through the dance floor.
In some ways, I’m grateful for the tequila. Otherwise I’d never be able to play like everything’s fine. Winding my way through the undulating bodies feels easier to bear than seeing that look on Kigai’s face. The threat that always lingers there. In this mingling of bodies I can close my eyes and lose myself to the music, feel the beat move in conjunction with me instead of forcing me to move with it.
The only time I’m conscious of is the time signature in the music. Minutes could pass, or it could be hours. What’s important is that Kigai doesn’t cut in and I can’t see those eyes trapping me in their domineering gaze.
For the first time in three years, I’m reminded of the better parts of life.
And then the better part of life bumps into me.
“Whoops! Hey there, little lady. Sorry for the intrusion.” A blonde man with a broad smile and glasses apologizes to me. “Did I hurt you?”
For a moment my breath is taken away and my façade cracks. The best way I can describe him is pure sunshine. He only looks at me for a moment with that grin but the warmth seeps into my skin and makes me yearn for a normal life. My throat gets tight. Help me. I want to say. Please make him leave me alone.
“Woah, hey, is everything okay? Did I really hurt you?” His puts a soothing arm on my shoulder as he makes himself heard over the crowd. “Why don’t you come sit down?”
“No!” I panic, forcing a grin on my face and hoping that he’ll shake it off as me being drunk. That’s what everyone else has done. “Really, it’s okay. I just get emotional when I’m drunk. I’m sorry. You just took me by surprise.” I shake my head as if trying to clear my mind and turn away from him. You’re too pure for someone like me, too beautiful for this world. If Kigai knew I slipped up…I can’t drag you down into this. You could get hurt.
“Hey, wait!” I hear him call behind me, but I ignore it and keep moving.
My feet rush towards the bathroom. I head inside and slam the first stall door I see before heaving into the porcelain bowl. Get it together, Ichijiku. I’ll kill Kigai. We can’t. I sob in the stall. We can’t do anything. Kigai has my family on his radar. We’re stuck! What a foul sack of shit. He’s not worth the stripes on my skin. I want to die. I know, Little Cub, and I’d surely embrace death knowing that you didn’t have to suffer this any longer. But we have to hold on. Change is coming. I can feel it in my bristling fur.
There’s a banging at the door that I know means I’m in trouble. I quickly wipe the tears from my cheeks frantically and flush the toilet before wetting a paper towel and dabbing under my eyes. Breathe. Get it together. We’ll survive. I’m right here with you.
I step out of the bathroom and Kigai’s hand wraps around my arm as he pulls me aside.
“Baby, what’s wrong?” He puts on a concerned simper, feeling my forehead with his free hand. You’re supposed to tell me where you’re going and why. You were trying to run away, weren’t you, bitch? “I thought you were hurt. Did you get sick?”
“I think I drank too much.” I sniffle, looking down so he can’t use his quirk and I don’t have to listen to his haunting voice in my thoughts. It’s a mistake.
His hand comes under my chin. To an outside party it might look like he’s being a tender lover, but there’s bite in the way his fingers dig into my skin. You know I hate when you look away from me, whore.
“Honey, you only had one shot. When did you become such a lightweight?” He laughs. I’m sick of your damn excuses. He runs his fingers through my hair and his hands cup my cheeks as he kisses my forehead. “But if you need to take a seat, go ahead.” Stay where I can see you.
“Thanks, love.” I return his gesture of affection with a hug and a peck on his cheek.
For a while, I sit at the bar again, scrolling through my phone to look busy. I can’t see Kigai, but I don’t need to. His gaze always follows me, even when he’s not in the room.
“It looks like you needed a break, huh?” The blonde from earlier takes residence in the seat next to me.
I turn to look at him as I nurse a lemonade. He’s like a breath of fresh air.
“Yeah.” I look down at the table again and trace around the rim of my glass. “Sorry about earlier. I think I’d been dancing too long and was getting overheated.”
“Yeah, the dance floor can get overwhelming if you’re not used to it.” He laughs. The sound sings through my bones.
“What’s your name?” I ask.
“Yamada Hizashi. But you can call me Hizashi.” He tilts his head like a puppy and the lights around him make him appear almost angelic. “What’s yours?”
“Ichijiku.”
“Nice to formally meet you, Ichijiku.” He answers. “Was that your boyfriend I saw earlier?”
“Yes.” I smile into my cup to hide the disgust in my eyes. God, I wish he wasn’t. “He was making sure I was okay.”
“Ah, good to know. From back there it looked like he was going to hurt you, but I was obviously mistaken. I’m glad you’re safe, you know?”
Something about the way he says it makes me look up at him and feel more hope than I have in a long time. I feel seen and heard. After a cursory glance around the club without seeing Kigai, I feel safe enough to answer.
“Kigai’s not a dangerous man. He doesn’t hit me and he likes to make sure I’m taken care of.” My eyes scream the opposite. I hope he catches it. I hope he doesn’t. “He knows my favorite colors and we watch my favorite movies all the time and he loves me. He never calls me names and he always asks before he touches me; Kigai doesn’t want to hurt me.”
Hizashi’s hand moves closer to mine and when I look at him I don’t feel sick.
“So you don’t need my help at all, do you?” He asks. He doesn’t break my gaze.
My lips part in a relieved gasp; I’m ready to tell him everything, but my eyes hold terror as Kigai catches my gaze from across the room. What the hell are you telling him? His smile follows me even though he’s standing beside the DJ. Abruptly, I stand and move away from Hizashi.
“It would be better if you stayed away from me.” I hiss under my breath, cursing myself for wishing for a normal life. Cursing myself for dreaming that I’d ever be able to get away from Kigai. What was I thinking? If Kigai finds out, it’ll be my head. But at least Hizashi knows. Maybe he can get help! Why would he help me? He probably has no idea I need help. I was reading too much into it. No one ever notices the bruises. Or they make excuses if they do. That’s right. No one cares about you. Who cares about a stupid whore? She’s not a whore. Kigai’s a manipulator and a rapist, and that’s all there is to it, fiend.
“Are you looking at my girl?” I’m suddenly face to chest with Kigai. Shit. He was closer than I realized. Fuck!
“Kigai, honey, it’s okay. I was just coming to find you. It’s fine.” I place my hand on his arm and squeeze, trying to redirect him.
“No, it’s not fucking okay.” Kigai growls, glaring bullets into Hizashi’s eyes.
“Hey, man. You have the wrong idea.” Hizashi puts his hands up, looking composed and calm. See? He knows nothing. Everything you told him went straight over his head. “She bumped into me earlier and I was just making sure she’d gotten back to the bar safely.”
“She bumped into you? Or were you trying to cop a feel?” Kigai snarls, dangerously tense.
“Kigai, please.” I beg, pulling at the front of his shirt to make him look at me. Why the hell did you let him get close to you, huh? You know you belong to me. Not some sleaze who’s just going to fuck you and leave you out to dry. After everything I’ve done for you. His words reach into my mind and I do the only thing I can to get out of the situation. I reach up around his neck and pull him in for a kiss.
Thankfully, Kigai seems to take the bait. He becomes more possessive, gripping my hips so hard I know there’ll be bruises there in the morning. His tongue invades my mouth and he tugs fiercely at my lip. When he pulls back, he still turns a fiery glare onto Hizashi.
“Don’t you get near my girl again, got it?” Kigai wraps an arm around my shoulder and pulls me close to him. My eyes lose their shine. I guess that’s it. We’re stuck again. All in good time, Little Cub. All in good time.
He pulls me away and I risk one last glance back at Hizashi. One last hopeful plea begging him to help, but he’s not looking back at me.
. . . . .
Six months go by that Kigai refuses to take me out again. For six months he beats the lesson into me.
“You were trying to be a clever little whore, weren’t you?” His foot connects with my jaw, but I don’t make a sound. I take it. “Thought you had a savior. Someone to take you away from me, right? But you’re mine! If you left me do you know what that would mean for your family? For you?” He yanks me up by my hair. “They’d be up shit creek without a paddle and it’d be all your fault!”
“I’m sorry, love.” I whimper out, hating the taste of the words on my tongue. “It won’t happen again.”
“Damn right it won’t.” He lets go of me and I catch the brunt of my weight on my arms. Tears trickle down my cheeks and then suddenly he pulls me into his arms and then onto his lap on the bed.
“You know I love you, right?” He coos in my ear, saying the words that my heart wants to hear in the most twisted tones. “It’s just…seeing you with that other man…mmm…I hated seeing that. You know he was just trying to manipulate you, right? Use you when you were vulnerable?”
You’d know all about that wouldn’t you? I wish I could have been more specific…told him something more concrete. Then maybe I wouldn’t be stuck here. It’s not your fault, Dear One. “I know, Kigai. I’m sorry. I wasn’t feeling good and I just wanted someone to talk to.”
His grip tightens on me. “You could have found me.”
“You were busy, Kigai, I didn’t want to ruin your time.” I turn and kiss his cheek to make the comment more believable. “I love you.”
“Mmm, that’s what I like to hear.” He kisses under my ear and it burns. Nauseous flames swim along my body until he leaves me broken under the covers. I curl up into a ball as he gets up from the covers and starts grabbing his clothes. “C’mon, baby, get your clothes on. I think you’ve learned your lesson. I’ve got a surprise for you.”
I don’t question it. I’m silent as I pull on my clothes and fix my hair. When I’m ready, I take the arm he offers me.
“You’re gonna like this, baby.” He rubs a small bruise he made at my neck, smiling as we head out into the street and he looks at me. You’d better not tell anyone it’s anything other than a love bite, got it? Or I’ll have your family hunted down with a snap of my fingers. “Look at how beautiful you look with my marks on you. Everyone will know who you belong to, yeah?”
“Of course. Only yours.” I nod, swallowing past the lump in my throat.
Before long he leads me to a karaoke bar. The sight of it puts a pep in my step; even though I’d rather be here with anyone else except Kigai, this is the most I’ve gotten out in months. I’ll take what I can get.
“A karaoke bar? How did you know?” I giggle, kissing his cheek as I slip into the assumed role.
“I know my babygirl.” He pauses to kiss me roughly outside the door before pulling me inside. He pays for the two of us before we’re taken to a private room where a few of his friends are waiting. “I hope you don’t mind, some of my buddies came to join us.”
“It’s okay.” I promise, even though seeing all of them makes my heart sink. “As long as they don’t bother me.”
“They’ve already been warned, babe, they’ve already been warned.” Kigai winks at me. Don’t test those waters after I’ve let you out. “Would you like to go first?”
“Yes, please.”
Once again, the music distracts me from my own crumbling little world. Life seems full of more promise as the notes spill from my lips.
“Hey, Takamaru! I’ve gotta take a piss. Keep an eye on my girl, okay? Make sure she doesn’t get into too much trouble.” Kigai chuckles and glances at me before he leaves. Don’t do anything stupid.
“Sure, man.” Takamaru doesn’t even look in Kigai’s direction. He’s too busy focusing on Shihito’s selection. “What the fuck, man?! You’ve sung homura three times already! Pick something new.”
“Shut up, Taka, it’s the only song I know.” Shihito huffs, pulling up the microphone again.
“Hey, do you guys mind if I go grab a snack?” I ask, wanting to get some fresh air without Kigai hovering over me. If he gets back before I do, I can always blame Takamaru. He never goes too hard on his buddies.
“Sure, Ichi. Can you grab me a granola bar while you’re at it?” Takamaru tosses me a couple yen.
“Sure thing.” I nod and head towards the vending machine on the balcony.
I walk by a room where I hear such sweet sonorous notes I can’t help but glance into the window. Hizashi?! My feet stutter and I nearly trip. I have to keep walking. Kigai is liable to beat him up if he even sees he’s in the same building. If I were to stop and wave? Impossible. I force myself to keep walking until I make it to the machine.
Once I’ve got a pack of crackers and Taka’s granola bar, I hang over the railing and take a deep breath. When did this all start? Why did I let myself get roped into this? I hate this… None of this is your fault, Little One. Kigai is a manipulator and a fiend. And his quirk makes it inanely difficult to give any sort of proof to the authorities of your predicament.
“Fancy seeing you here.” Hizashi’s voice joins me on the balcony. I jump back as if stung and start backing away from him. His moves his hands from his pockets and holds them up in surrender. “Woah, hey, I’m not going to hurt you.”
“That’s not what I’m worried about.” I turn to look and make sure Kigai isn’t headed back to our karaoke room and then back to Hizashi. “You can’t be here.”
“Is he hurting you?” He asks me bluntly, eyes somehow fierce and kind all at once.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I choke out, starting to speed walk back into the building. This can’t be happening. Kigai’s going to kill him if he sees him anywhere near me!
His hand grabs my wrist and I’m forced to pause and turn back to him.
“Is he hurting you, Ichijiku?”
The first time I saw his gaze in the club, I nearly lost myself. Seeing it now, so intentional and worried…I feel I have no choice.
“Yes.” I hiss, eyes watering. “Yes, he hurts me. All the time. For big things, for little things. But I take it, okay?” Part of me is angry. Not even at Hizashi, just everything in general. Why the hell am I in this predicament? What did I do except love people and want them to love me back? It’s okay. You’re allowed to be angry. Especially at this situation. “I take it because Kigai says he’ll hurt my family if I don’t. Because they’ll die if I don’t suck it up like a good girl, alright? And he’s going to hurt you too, Hizashi. He’ll hurt you really bad if you so much as look at me. If you’re so much as seen with me.” I keep glancing back, waiting at any moment for Kigai to round the corner and exact his punishment. “So go! Leave me alone. I don’t want anyone else to get hurt for my sake…please.” I beg, finally yanking my hand free of his hold.
When I hear Kigai’s voice down the hall, I don’t look back. I rush back into the room just in time and hand Taka his granola bar. I start nibbling on my crackers so I can compose my face before he walks in. I smile at him and offer him a cracker.
“Oo, got me a snack, baby?” He takes the whole pack and leaves me the one. “Thanks.”
The rest of the evening, I’m too nervous to sing like I want to. I pick one or two songs to make sure Kigai’s off my scent, but mostly I watch him and his friends sing. In reality, I keep watching the door to make sure Hizashi doesn’t walk by.
By the time we get ready to leave, it’s dark. I assume that Hizsahi is long gone, because as we walk by his room on our way out, it’s empty and quiet. Thank you, Lord. He deserves a better lot in life than this.
“Damn, Kigai, every time we go out for karaoke I forget just how shitty of a singer you are.” Taka teases as we give the desk lady her key back.
“Hey, man! I’m not that bad. At least I can carry a tune.”
“Barely.” He snorts, before nudging Shihito. “And this fucker only has one song he can sing!”
The ribbing continues as we walk out the door. I keep my eyes down and my arm wrapped around Kigai’s until a group of voices convene on us and someone suddenly pulls me out of Kigai’s grasp.
“Police! Get on the ground, now!” Someone barks out, and my brain struggles to keep up.
Kigai and his pals look shocked to say the least. Kigai is the only one who tries to struggle, of course. “Get the fuck off me! Let my girl go! Babygirl, tell these fuckers to get off me!”
“Don’t hurt him!” I call out, aching heart bleeding for him even in spite of all the bruises he’s left on my heart and my body.
“Get on the ground.” The cop repeats, needing two more officers to help bring Kigai down to the ground. “Sir, you’re under arrest.”
The world around me sways. My breath gets shaky and I start crying as I beg them to leave him alone. What am I doing?! I want them to take him but… He’s a manipulator. He’s made you afraid and obligated to him. I want him out of my life. I don’t ever want to see him again. My pleas ultimately die down as my sobs get louder.
The weather is colder in the darkness. My body starts shaking and I start swaying.
“It’s okay, ma’am. We’ll get it taken care of. You’re safe now.” The woman holding me rubs my shoulders and starts looking around. “Can one of you grab a jacket for–”
“I’ve got it taken care of.” Hizashi’s voice melts into my eardrums as the police get Kigai into the back of their cruiser. I wrap my arms around myself and then he’s got something warm and soft wrapped around my shoulders. “Here. Take my jacket.”
I turn to Hizashi and then back to the police cruiser. I look at the woman.
“Excuse me, Officer?”
“Yes, ma’am?”
“Th–That man…Kigai…he…he said he’d hurt my family if I ever turned him in. Are they–”
“This young man here told us the story. We’ve got a unit at their house.” She assures me, rubbing my shoulder. “You don’t have to be afraid anymore, honey. We’ve got it all covered. We’ve been trying to find definitive evidence to put this guy away for years.”
I look at her, disbelieving. “H=How did you find any evidence?”
The officer looks at the cruiser as Kigai is hauled off, before she looks at Hizashi with a smile and then back to me. “Your friend here said that he recorded your conversation in the karaoke place. He said he’d previously met you and was suspicious of the situation.”
“I hadn’t seen you in months. I was scared I was too late to do anything, so when I saw you…” He pauses. “I started recording on my phone before I walked over to talk to you. I was hoping that maybe if I was blunt enough…you might tell me what was going on.” Hizashi admits sheepishly. “So we left as soon as I got the evidence just in case your group was planning on leaving soon.”
For a long time, I just stare at him. I memorize everything I can about him. The way his hair frames his face and the small, pampered mustache making his smile pop out on his face. Then there’s his eyes.
One look and my body works without my permission. I wrap my arms around him, tackling him into a hug and feeling three years of pain and grief claw out of my chest and manifest as sobs.
“Thank you, Hizashi.” I hold his back in a death grip, and I feel him pat my back delicately.
“I couldn’t sit by and watch you get hurt without doing anything.”
“Ma’am, would you like me to walk you to your home?” The officer asks me, also reaching over to rub my shoulder.
“I don’t have anywhere to go right now.” I admit with a sniffle. “But if you can go with me to grab my stuff from Kigai’s, that would be great.” I turn to Hizashi. “Will you come with us? Please?”
“Of course. I won’t leave you alone right now. That a problem with you, Officer?”
“Not at all.” She assures.
When we make it to Kigai’s house, there’s blue and red lights flashing there too. Hizashi steps with me inside as the officer gets debriefed on other things found out about Kigai’s dastardly affairs. “It’s just down this hall.” I assure him.
Going back into Kigai’s room sends a cold chill down my spine. You’re mine, whore. You belong to me, understand? I pull Hizashi’s jacket tighter around me, before steeling my nerves and grabbing my bag and stuffing it.
“Anything you need me to grab?” Hizashi asks as he looks around.
“No. I don’t have much.” I toss in my phone and charger, a few changes of clothes, toothbrush, hairbrush, and a few other necessities. “I think that’s all.” I say once I’ve got everything together. When at last I turn to him and meet his gaze, I’m expecting to hear foul words stabbing into my brain.
He is not Kigai, Little One. It’s going to be okay.
My nose quivers as I look at him. “He’s really gone.”
“He won’t hurt you anymore, Ichijiku.” Hizashi nods. “You don’t have to be afraid anymore.”
I don’t have to be afraid.

ㅤGood thing that he does keep an open mind, indeed, because it seems like a lot of basic principles are about to be shaken, turned upside-down, and then shaken some more. For a starter... is that being coming literally up and through the ground...? At this point, Itachi has seen a good few creatures very different than the fiends that are indigenous to the mountains and forests of Wutai, this much is not surprising. Still, it is the first time he happens to see something so... ethereal. That looks more shadow than flesh-made monster. They are very palpable, though, from the way the body resounds when colliding against Xion's unorthodox choice of weapon.
«Understood.»
ㅤTaking a passive role during battle is also not something he's used to, but he's humble enough to recognize when he'll be at a disadvantage if he chooses not to listen. And so he stays close to Xion, katana up and ready to block should it be needed, but otherwise not moving to take offensive. Not even when his new friend darts forward and basically starts smacking the little darkness being with that very strange sword. Which is yet another first, because... aren't swords meant to slice? Slash? Cut? Chop? Serrate, depending on the blade? Xion is using theirs pretty much like a club and it is as jarring as it is unexpectedly amusing.
He cannot afford to be distracted, however.
ㅤThe creature eventually acknowledges his presence and lunges, but Itachi has no issues to dodge out of the way every time it happens; he's built for speed and agility a lot more than actual strength, after all. Soon, it seems to be coming to an end and then... yes, yes he does see it. The heart. A tiny thing, cute even, that looks like a child's drawing rather than a human organ meant to pump blood. And, truth be told, Itachi doesn't really know what to make of it. What is it? Is it a sign of vital energy? Does it originate from the Lifestream, has it just returned to it? So many questions! Slightly wide-eyed, he turns back to Xion.
ㅤ«I saw it,» he confirms, holding out a hand to help them back up, «Was that what you were referring to? What was that creature, anyway? And your weapon? Why did you advise me not to take part in the battle?» And now, yes, Xion is also stuck with the inevitable torrent of curious questions.
scientifically inaccurate or not, xion is determined to show him something new - at least two things that are new, in fact, as one is intrinsically tied to the other. ...and after a bit of walking, one of the two makes an appearance - climbing up out of the ground, it seems, comes a shadowy being... which then just.. keeps coming. the head, of course, is first, but it has a long, long neck with jagged angles and long spines along it.. it jerks violently at an almost rhythmic consistency, the angles alternating in twitchy tandem, until finally, the body.
it looks like a very sharp and very wrong cat. it's not a very big beast, only twice the size of the average housecat, but then its head raises, neck shooting straight up, and it zooms. what it lacks in size, it makes up in speed and erratic movements, launching itself toward the pair - only to ricochet off a giant key suddenly in xion's hands.
"Don't try to attack it! If it comes at you, just block! Leave the beating it up to me, ok??" they'd noticed that sword and hoped, at least, that he could do that much with it. it does look rather small... but it can't just be for show, right? they don't get much time to consider it, because the beast has soon bounced eight times, the ninth sending it right back toward them, only to get repelled again. this time, it stops moving, dazed and dizzy, and that's when xion storms in to beat it up.
..this happens no more than three times - and does, in fact, try at least once or twice to go after itachi - before, on one final hit, the beast finally explodes into a cloud of darkness, and a shiny pink heart rises up from where had once been an odd cat, vanishing after only a few moments of quick ascension. and xion wheezes, sitting on the ground as that key disappears in a sparkle of light. "Geez, I hate that one.... He's a fast little guy.. At least it was just the one this time, though! Did you see the Heart?"
#heartsandwishes#[verse] land of the free; and blood splatters for applause#this makes me realize how hilarious the combat in KH actually is#you basically have god-tier weapons but you use them for smacking stuff on the head for the most part

Bucky stood close behind me as we walked the short distance from his car to the building where we were meeting Steve and Sam. According to Steve, there was someone inside that knew some information about the hit and he was willing to meet with us on one condition. Bucky had a tight grip on a bag that held that certain condition.
Twenty thousand conditions to be exact.
The guy wanted $20,000 in exchange for the info that we needed. I tried to tell Bucky that no matter what information this guy had, it wasn’t worth all this money.
“For your life? I’d drain every single one of my accounts.”
I felt every inch of my body vibrate as we walked up to Steve and Sam, who stood right outside of the entrance of the club.
“Is he here?” Bucky questioned.
Steve nodded. “At the bar.
“Is it in there?” Sam pointed to the bag.
“Yeah. Asshole wouldn't take anything less than 20,” Bucky grumbled before resting his eyes on me. “Remember what I said?”
I sighed but nodded. “Stay by you at all times.”
With a motion of his head, we all headed inside of the lively club while all standing close to one another. Steve stood close behind me while Sam and Bucky were in front of us. There were bodies packed close together, dancing along with the loud beats of the music and we had to physically push our way through to make our way to the bar. Steve was right behind me, his warm breath across the skin of the back of my neck, and his arms were on either side of me to protect me from whatever would happen.
Bucky looked over his shoulder to make sure I was still close so I linked my fingers with his, allowing him to guide me through the crowd.
Through the clearing, we all stopped in front of the bar and Steve pointed to the lone man sitting in the middle with his back to us.
“Perhaps we can go somewhere more private?” The man swung around in the stool, now staring at us.
When his eyes landed on me, they widened for a brief second. “I didn’t expect to see you here tonight.”
I shrugged. “I don’t have anything to be afraid of.”
“Hm,” the man hummed while taking a drink. “Baron Zemo.”
“Y/N,” I gave a curt nod.
Baron looked towards Bucky and motioned towards the bag in his hand. “Is that it?”
Bucky dropped it to his feet. “Tell us what you know.”
“If it’s anything like the last few times we’ve met, all the money is here?” Baron asked while placing the bag onto his lap.
Clearly this wasn’t the first time that Bucky and Baron had met.
“What do you know?” Steve now asked.
“I received a call from Clint Barton a week ago to fly him and a lady friend of his to Hungary.”
“Budapest?” Bucky spoke.
I suddenly remembered the conversation that was being had between Bucky and the guy he had pinned to the bar last night.
Baron nodded. “This wasn’t the first time I let them use my jet either.”
Bucky’s hand was still linked with mine so I could feel when he tensed. “Them?”
“Clint and the redhead,” Baron smirked while taking a drink.
He knew who the redhead was, we all did. Baron was playing coy which irritated us.
“I think she said her name was Natasha?” He said.
Bucky went to lunge for him but I held him back, letting him know that we wouldn't get any more information if Baron was knocked to the floor unconscious. With myself standing in front of him to block him, I gave Baron a hard stare.
“Cut the bullshit, Zemo. You knew Natasha was Bucky’s wife. How many times did you let them use your jet?” I asked.
“Quite a lot over the last year and a half, even when the two of you were married. I caught them a few times being a bit too close, especially for a married woman,” Baron said over my shoulder to Bucky.
My heart fell into my stomach with the realization that Natasha and Clint were seeing each other. But I could only hurt for Bucky so much because we were doing the same thing that they were.
Sam could feel the sudden tension so he spoke next. “Are you planning on picking them up in Budapest to fly them back?”
Baron only nodded.
“When?” Steve asked.
He lifted up his cell phone. “Clint will call me when they're ready to come back.”
“As soon as he calls you, you let me know. Understand?” Bucky demanded, still standing behind me.
“For a price,” Baron smirked.
I went to refuse, not wanting Bucky to waste any more of his money on me, but he spoke faster than I could.
“I’ll wire you another twenty when I have proof that they touched ground in New York.”
The smirk on Baron’s face doubled in size but the conversation that they were now having fell on my deaf ears as I felt a burning sensation on the back of my head and it wasn’t coming from Bucky.
While peering over my shoulder, I saw that not only was one set of eyes on me but at least three that I could notice. And it wasn’t the kind of gaze that was full of desire, it was more so filled with greed.
One of the men pushed back his jacket, revealing a gun holstered on the side of his pants and I immediately patted Bucky’s chest with shaking fingers.
“Bucky,” I muttered.
He followed my eyes and I knew when he saw what I did because Bucky quickly went to head over to the man who was holding his gun. However, I held him back.
“We can't afford to cause a huge scene right now. The less people know that I’m here the better.”
Reluctantly, Bucky nodded and used his large frame as a shield, standing behind me once again. Our eyes locked when I placed a gentle hand on his cheek.
“No one is going to try anything while you’re here, especially with Sam and Steve,” I reassured him.
I heard a snicker from behind me.
“You think that you’re safe because you have THE Bucky Barnes at your side? There will be a time where he can’t be with you. I’d suggest you be careful.”
I cocked my head to the side, lips parting in a smug smile. “Is that a threat?”
Baron gave a one shoulder shrug. “What could you possibly do?”
My knuckles collided with his chin, his body clattering to the hard floor below and he brought the stool down with him. The loud noise caught the attention now from everyone around us but I paid them no mind.
Baron went to stand up but I placed the heel of my shoe deep into his chest, locking him into place on the ground.
“Let’s get one thing straight, Zemo,” I dug my heel harder into his chest when I felt him struggle against me. “I don’t need them to protect me. Clearly, I have zero problem dealing with men like you.”
Steve looked around us, people now crowding around us even closer, and gently grabbed my elbow.
“Y/N, we need to go,” his voice was soft but urgent.
I watched as one guy with a knife gripped tight in his hand slowly stalked towards me which caused Bucky to wrap an arm around me and pull me into his chest.
“Keep your head low,” he breathed in my ear.
With my own arm wrapped around his side, I let him quickly lead me out of the club, Sam and Steve following very close behind.
