Great. At this point, when you show them pricing, say "it's a matter of how fast you want to see results AND what your monthly budget is". "What does the middle option include?" then go into how the difference in the 3 different packages is the time spent on their website. The Art of Branch 27-B Interviews

Good day to you, I am J. Lucien Felswift. If you have been assign to read this, that means you are of sufficient rank to conduct interviews and partake in other various recruitment initiatives.

Upon Blight General Rouille's request, I will instruct you on The Art of Branch 27-B Interviews.

Before we begin, I will now take this time to direct you to the Apothecarium Archives. There you will find the following files:

1) Recruitment 101: Standard protocol for our illustrious officers and veterans

AND

Those files were compiled by Master Apothecary Emerita Ariietta Frostwalker a long, long time ago. It has been quite some time since the Frostwalker administration presided over this branch; however, in my professional opinion, the Standard Interview Protocol of that period still serves as an ideal beginner's guide.

Now that you have read through and achieved at least basic, or even proficient, knowledge of Lady Frostwalker's Standard Interview Protocol, I will share with you all my additions and modifications to them. You see, I was around back in the days of Lady Frostwalker, and served as a High Apothecary as well as the Head of Research and Development in the administrations of her two direct successors: Master Apothecary Emeriti Seita Gray and Sarah Matthews. In time, I achieved mastery over the Standard Interview Protocol.

Interviewing, much like Alchemy itself, is an Art with some scientific rigor to it. Now let us apply scientific rigor to the following hypothetical example.

Interviewer: Greetings, I am Lord Apothecary William M. D. Bilebergh of Branch 40-C of the Royal Apothecary Society. Your name, please?

Interviewee: Octavio.

Bill Bilebergh: [Scribbles "Octavio" on the form.] Well then, would you say you are scientifically inclined...or are you more inclined toward warfare?

Octavio: I do not believe I understand your question. Is there another way you could phrase it so that I could better grasp what you are asking of me?

Bilebergh: Urgh, typical rotbrains; this branch ought to incinerate the whole damned bunch. Well then, let me explain it to you in terms your feeble, little mind would understand: would you consider yourself an "egghead" or a "meatshield"?

Octavio: Hmm, I would say...um, er...a meatshield, I think.

Bilebergh: Meatshields, useless louts they are. [Scribbles "Inclined toward warfare" on the form.] The meatshi...I, er, mean the Blightguard division of this branch are what I like to call "cannon fodder." You are nothing more than a lowly fingernail before the thumb of the hand attached to the military arm of this branch; and that arm is attached to the collective body that is our beloved Forsaken war machine. In other words, you would be our muscle.

Octavio: I am well aware of what the term "cannon fodder" means. I suppose I could join your Blightguard; it would give me quite an opportunity to improve my fighting techniques and the like.

Bilebergh: [Scribbles "Blightguard" and "To improve fighting techniques and the like" on the form.] Suit yourself, I suppose. Now then, that answers what you expect out of this branch. What will you give in return for the privilege, no, no, the honor of being among us Forsaken apothecaries?

Octavio: My unlife for their protection; I would sacrifice myself and die again.

Bilebergh: [Scribbles "Would sacrifice his Unlife ignobly" on the form.] Yes, yes, good answer. One last question: Octavio, do you pledge undying fealty to this branch of the Royal Apothecary Society; and through this branch do you, Octavio, pledge undying fealty to our beloved Banshee Queen Sylvanas Windrunner?

Octavio: I do; and I do.

Bilebergh: I see; and with the powers vested in me as a Lord Apothecary of Branch 40-C of the Royal Apothecary Society, I, William M. D. Bilebergh, hereby appoint you, Octavio, to the Blightguard. Huzzah! Unfortunately, we in this branch, unlike other branches, do not have "speakstones" to spare.

Octavio: What is a "speakstone"?

Bilebergh: Some contraption an Apothecary from Branch 27-B assembled for "easier" and "more effective" communication. Ash N. Shadow was his name. Here in Branch 40-C, we scoff at such "magic;" relying on ley-lines is bunk, b-u-n-k, not real science. And there I go, off on another tangent your feeble, little Blightguard mind could not hope to comprehend. In any case, here is your Blighthawk. [Hands Octavio a caged Blighthawk.] This creature is your responsibility now, not mine, praise Sylvanas. It is to be used only for Blightguard-related activities or official Branch 40-C correspondence purposes. Do I make myself clear?

Octavio: Yes, I read you loud and clear. I will guard this Blighthawk the same way as I would protect any other bodies affiliated with the Royal Apothecaries. Is there anything else for me to know, sir?

Bilebergh: You seem to learn quickly, knave. I am to be addressed as either "sir" or "Lord Apothecary Bilebergh." Sylvanas help you if you forget! Other than that, I would advise you to consult the Blightguard notice board [Points over to the wall with four notice board on it.] Usually, the High Executor or one of her Executors posts memorandums and missives for Dreadguards and Blightguards. If you could go over there and look, that would be great.

Aside from the facts known about Branch 40-C, and the titles of little relevance to us nowadays in Branch 27-B such as Lord Apothecary; High Executor; Executor; and Dreadguard, what went wrong here?

The most glaring mistake was how Lord Apothecary Bilebergh did not seem invested in the interview process. Rather than viewing it as an opportunity to bolster his branch's ranks, he regarded it as nothing more than a chore best done quickly. While there were times when he added his own distinct flavor, Bilebergh, for the most part, went through the motions quite mechanically. There was no sign of ingenuity. It leaned on a pre-existing rhythm crutch and did not beat to its own kettle drum.

With those critiques in mind, I will now share with you the Felswiftian Method of Interviewing.

The Felswiftian Method's foundation rests upon Music and Mathematics, or the harmony of Art and Science that governs the Great Beyond. Just as the celestial orbs in the firmament above our Azerothian sights dance around one another with such precision, so must any and all interviews done here in Branch 27-B that use my method. A Branch 27-B interview is an elaborate partner dance. Therefore, as a bare minimum, there must always be one who leads, i.e. the interviewer, and one who follows, i.e. the interviewee. On the one hand, I am well aware of other interviews that permit interviewees to take the reins as they answer the interviewer's first question, thereby allowing them to influence the interview's natural rhythm. On the other hand, I have little patience for any dandiprats who attempt such tomfoolery.

No self-respecting interviewer of this branch should be daft enough to surrender their powers and prerogatives to a lowly interviewee so willingly. No lowly interviewee, whether they be a husk of flesh and bone or a transfer from another branch in the Royal Apothecary Society, should ever be granted the opportunity to shift the interview's harmony toward dissonance and subsequent ruination. If they do, it will be on your head as the interviewer.

The Felswiftian Method is an instrument best used to break down, or Reverse-Transmutate in a figurative sense, the lowly interviewee; my method should never be used to build up their angle-worm backbones in any way, shape or form whatsoever. Break the interviewee down until you can sense you are grinding their bones to make the most scrumptious maggot-ridden bread ever. If the interviewee's bony kneecaps are not shaking with fear, then you are not using my method correctly. If the interviewee's petty ego is only deflated, then you are not trying hard enough.

Contrary to conventional wisdom, I have found that the interviewer should only speak aloud when absolutely necessary. Rather than ramble on about some Branch 27-B formality, let the interviewee prattle on about themselves; they will tie themselves up in some fashion with their over-eager tongue, and it will be up to you to help unravel them. If the interviewee makes any claim whatsoever, no matter how obvious or asinine it may seem, always hold their feet by the fire; make them defend their claim lest it ferment into an unsupported assertion. This, above all else, is what distinguishes the Felswiftian Method of Interviewing from Lady Frostwalker's Standard Interview Protocol. If, for instance, an interviewee were to say they are proficient at potion-making, then, by any and all means necessary, test them through a viva voce, a practicum, or both. It is up to your discretion. 

However, the interviewer should always be aware of unusual situations where the Standard Interview Protocol does not apply so readily. Lady Frostwalker composed it back when this branch was still segregated heavily against the living. Nowadays, the interviewer should also bear in mind the repercussions of more recent and radical alterations to Branch 27-B policy under Grand Apothecary Eralos Feliwin's administration, specifically the one that allows the more primitive and less favored races of our forsaken Horde to join the Blightguard. As such, interviewers in this branch should always comport themselves before the other races, despite whatever presuppositions you may have of them. Remember, you are representative of this branch, the Royal Apothecary Society, the Forsaken, and the Banshee Queen. Since our Banshee Queen is now the Horde's Warchief also, more gazes among those other races will be upon us Royal Apothecaries more intently than the peoples of Azeroth after the Wrathgate scandal.

It would be most ideal, now more than ever, for the interviewer to obtain a basic, or even a proficient, grasp over other tongues aside from Gutterspeak and whatever other tongues you spoke prior to your Unlife. Take the initiative and time to learn some of the tongues that are spoken commonly throughout our forsaken Horde; you may even obtain mastery over them.

There may also be a time when you encounter one who lacks a jawbone who seeks a position within our branch. Do not dismiss them outright! I have found through experience that those without jawbones make the best Apothecaries and Bightguards. It would be best if you permit them to communicate in the manner to which they are most accustomed. Whether they are of Branch 27-B caliber or not, you may still direct them to the fleshcrafters for a replacement jawbone.

There may also be another time when direct superiors, or inferiors, may elect to observe you interviewing. Conduct the interview just the same as you would always; nothing is more repugnant than those who choose, under pressure, to forsake their natural interviewing rhythm. The direct superiors, or at least those who are worth their salt, will catch on to your charade.

Most importantly, practice is key. You can never be taught how to interview; you can only be willing to learn from personal experience, perseverance and endurance. It is up to you to find your own natural interviewing rhythm, not to just follow either Lady Frostwalker's Standard Interview Protocol or the Felswiftian Method of Interviewing mechanically. Each Branch 27-B interview is a specimen unique unto itself, hence why the Duty Roster Report was created. Above all else, both the interviewer and the interviewee must always strive to get the rhythm right.

     I sped to practice to burn off the last of the alcohol I’d drowned myself in. Being elected boss was my worst nightmare come true, and had required liquor-induced oblivion. I could hardly think about it without wanting to vomit. I’d done everything right, played my hand perfectly to support Nella as leader, and it had blown up in my face anyway. Electing me boss. It was goddamn unacceptable.

      “Muffin!” Lucas shouted.

     I lifted a hand in hello, jogged onto the field, and started my warm-up laps. Lucas was in goal, taking shots from one of the assistant coaches. He dove to the right for a pretty spectacular save, then chucked the ball he’d just caught straight at me as I rounded his net. Almost nailed me in the junk but my quick reflexes saved me.

     “Not today, Lucas.” I shook my head and jogged off. Warm-ups were when I settled into mindlessness and tried to zone out of my circular thoughts. In August 2013, paparazzi snapshots of Bradley Cooper and Suki Waterhouse were posted on the Mail Online and several other gossip sites. The two were pictured in various sprawling poses as they relaxed in a park in Paris reading - here's the crux - Lolita. The accompanying headlines all reported a similar narrative, but none more hysterically than Perez Hilton; 'Bradley Cooper’s Life Imitates Art As He Reads Lolita To Barely Legal Girlfriend Suki Waterhouse.' The already easy to grasp point was hammered home with the aid of Hilton’s famous Photoshop paint skills -  '21 is just 12 backwards.’ One of these images in particular, - Waterhouse sitting with Cooper's head resting between her denim dungarees-clad legs as he presumably reads a favourite passage aloud - has multiplied endlessly on Tumblr, liked and reblogged hundreds of thousands of times. fallinhardforhim reblogged this from withloveclaudia, yourlittlegirllala reblogged this from moody-nymph, goodbye-lolita liked this. Spot the trend?

A controversial book since its publication, Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita is considered by many to be one of the 20th century's greatest novels but is widely famous largely due to its controversial subject matter - a man in his thirties sexually obsessed with a 12-year-old girl.

According to an interview in the New Yorker with John Bertram, co-author of Lolita: The Story of a Cover Girl: Vladimir Nabokov’s Novel in Art and Design, there have been roughly two hundred Lolita covers since its original blank canvas, which featured black lettering over a shade of green reminiscent of old school exercise books. Somehow, in failing (or not even attempting) to illustrate what was inside, erotic fiction publishers Olympia Press managed to create the dirtiest of dirty book covers. Almost sixty years, two film adaptations and countless references and misrepresentations in popular culture later, it's still a book that garners a curious glance or two from fellow commuters on the tube.

The conflicts inherent in Lolita stem from the impossibility of re-capturing what has been perfectly expressed by Nabokov in those 300 or so pages; the co-existence of obsessive love and self-serving tyranny. Writer Mary Gaitskill in the introduction to The Story of a Cover Girl cites this as the reason why Lolita cover art is so often poorly attempted; 'such impossible, infernal combinations there are in all of us, and we know it. That Lolitarenders this human condition at such an extreme, so truthfully… is this book's most shocking quality… It is also why no one will ever succeed in describing it fully on a book jacket.' Despite this difficulty, references are rife, from pop song lyrics to the long-standing Japanese 'gothic lolita' fashion The young women who have appropriated Lolita on Tumblr are practically a trope in their own right.

The nymphet community is an online subculture revolving around Lolita, its themes and its accompanying imagery. The fandom spans a diverse range of Lolita interpretations, from superficial feeds of anything pastel-coloured, to the almost inventorial, right through to the pornographic and upsettingly dark , As with any following, the community contains those die-hard fans who insist on authenticity alongside those who are along purely for the aesthetic. As one blogger complains; 'whenever I see people that think Lolita is romantic I wanna cry. Have u even read the book/ seen the movie or are you just in the nymphet community to be kool #nymphet #lolita.'

While the spectrum is broad, the average nymphet blog will usually contain at least one of a list of typical references. Firstly, and obviously, Lolita. Quotes from the book, stills, memes and GIFs from either film. Kubrick's 1962 is better stylistically, but Adrian Lynne's 1997 version is the more popular, probably because it's closer to the book, darker, more sexual and far less perfect. Dominique Swain's screen test from the same film denotes a real Lolita buff, as do the deleted scenes found on the DVD. Other 'age-gap' films seen over and over include Pretty Baby (1978), The Crush (1992), My Little Princess (2011), Sleeping Beauty (2011) and Jeune et Jolie(2013). Then there are vintage signifiers, pulp novel covers ranging in levels of bad taste (my personal favourite Daddy I'm Coming), photographs of vintage underwear, Parisian street photographs. There's the personal posts, 'I dropped my pen in a lecture today and two guys and the lecturer went to fetch it for me and is this nymphet power or what? #nymphet #thoughts.' And finally, the porn - huge amounts of porn. 'It's all American Beauty and cum!' exclaims a colleague as we scroll through one of the afore-mentioned pages belonging to a girl named ‘pulp-princess’. All this content is displayed on blogs that have been painstakingly coded to pink-tinted perfection (no basic Tumblr templates for these girls) and soundtracked by the mournful strains of Lana del Rey: 'I'll wait for you babe, that's all I'll do babe, you don't come through babe, you never do. 'Cause I'm pretty when I cry.'

Del Rey pops up a lot on these blogs. She’s a fellow, if honorary (given her age), nymphet. When interviewed, the singer-songwriter, whose real name is Lizzie Grant, cites Lolita as a reference, describing the sound of her first album as 'Lolita lost in the hood.' There is even a track on Born To Die named Lolita, but it's Off to the Racesthat borrows most heavily from both the book and the 1997 film. 'Swimming pool, glimmering darling' - a deleted swimming pool scene, 'Light of my life, fire of my loins' - a direct quote from page one, 'Give me them gold coins, Give me them coins' - another scene in which coins spill over an unmade bed as the couple fight over money that Humbert has bribed Lo with in return for sex. The list continues, even the songs that don't reference Lolitastill evoke that same type of doomed love.

Over the years many young women have probably read Lolita, liked the book and maybe even identified with aspects of the character, but it's only with the prevalence of the internet that you can observe the vast, primarily young and female fandom. Why this character? She has no agency or voice of her own in the book or either film, most of her lines are responses to what is being done to her. But it's her they're interested in, not so much her step-father/lover/abuser Humbert Humbert (affectionately known as Hum) even though the nymphets claim to be interested in older men. And though Tumblr is an aesthetically-led form of social media, for many of these users it's not quite as simple as style over substance either.  This isn't a tentative grasp on the vague and various meanings attached to Lo over the years. Theirs is an informed obsession, not just an attraction to Bert Stern's pictures of Sue Lyon in heart shaped glasses.

With its vast proportion of teenage users, Tumblr is an angsty place. When discussing nostalgia and the internet in a panel discussion on Marques Almeida’s S/S 15 show, SHOWstudio founder Nick Knight pointed out that Tumblr’s community appear to fixate on the dark, the unhappy and the melancholy. 'There's a certain obsession with sadness on Tumblr, sadness seems to be kind of around at the moment… You see things that magazines on the whole won't show. Self harm, food obsessions. Things that are personal. A fascination for death. I do think it ties in with a global movement.'

Western young women today arguably have more options than ever before, but there's a pressure that arises from that to accomplish more. When you never quite feel like you’re getting enough right it makes sense to fetishise the wrong. It's not unusual to find something upsetting enough to make you close the tab in a nymphet blog; the gruesome dismembered body of Elizabeth Short (aka The Black Dahlia) just down the page from a pinterest-y shot of pastel colour silk dresses hanging in a vintage wardrobe. A violent pornographic image transformed into a meme with the darkly romantic Arctic Monkeys lyrics 'crawling back to you', then later a GIF of spindly spiders fighting in the corner of a ceiling. Reading Lolita in Tehran author Azar Nafisi points out that Lolita's real name Dolores means sorrow, and Lolita blogs are always sad. While at face value a curation of the sexualisation of young girls, on closer inspection nymphet blogs document tragedy. The type of femininity these young women – and for that matter Lana del Rey - have chosen to identify with is one that is doomed from the start. Either Oscar Wilde or George Bernard Shaw said youth is wasted on the young. These particular girls are wasting theirs fetishising it, treating youth as a theme to be curated, collected and carefully documented. 

It's this juxtaposition of the cute and girlish with the violent that expresses the core theme of Lolita better than any blonde teen sucking a lollypop on numerous book jackets ever can.

This is an essay written alongside ‘Girly’ - the fashion film. It remarks on the ‘Lolita movement’ and really converses the message I am aiming to portray in my concept as well. I italicised and made bold, key points that I thought really struck a chord with what is going on. Don’t let the cat videos and flavor-of-the-week challenge compilations fool you, though. YouTube’s reach of over one billion active users is nothing to scoff at from a marketing perspective. With video content poised to take over most of the Internet itself, more and more marketers continue to hop on the ever-growing video bandwagon.

Despite this boom in video content, many marketers overlook the fine details of YouTube optimization. Just as you’d optimize your social media posts or blog content, videos require the same attention to detail when it comes to ranking in YouTube, growing your subscriber count and scoring precious views.

Don’t get it twisted—YouTube SEO isn’t about keyword stuffing or sacrificing the quality of your videos for the sake of optimization. Instead, it’s about focusing on the minor details of your videos that impact its potential to pop up in search results and reel in viewers.

The good news? YouTube optimization is relatively quick and straightforward. Below we’ve outlined some of the changes you can make to current and future videos to ensure that they’re search-friendly to your target audience.

1. Inserting Keywords and Phrases Into Your Titles

This crucial piece of YouTube optimization is perhaps the most obvious. Similar to an H1 or title tag in a blog post, keywords and phrases are essential to increasing your videos’ visibility via search engines and YouTube alike.

When crafting your headline, it’s a good idea to optimize for both YouTube and Google search results. That means being aware of the number of characters you include in your title.

At a glance, your video’s description may seem like little more than a spot to summarize your content. The reality is that in terms of YouTube optimization, descriptions are arguably the most important aspect of driving more traffic, while simultaneously scoring new leads.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to YouTube descriptions. In fact, most descriptions feel like a laundry list of social links and oftentimes don’t contain keywords at all:

You should treat YouTube descriptions similarly to how you might craft a meta description on a blog post in terms of keywords. Fun fact: Google crawls transcripts and closed captions of YouTube videos, but if and only if they’re crafted and uploaded manually by their creator. Taking the time to optimize your transcripts and captions beyond the auto-generated options represents a massive opportunity for your YouTube SEO.

Google has specific instructions for uploading transcripts and captions based on your video’s content. There’s a bit of a catch that many creators overlook, though. You can’t simply stuff keywords or phrases into your videos after the fact, but rather actually ensure that they’re spoken throughout your video.

That’s why it’s ideal to plan your keyword-based videos in advance, if possible. Shoehorning keywords for the sake of YouTube optimization is risky business and could potentially backfire on you.

4. Spend Time on Your Tags

There’s debate concerning how much weight tags hold in terms of YouTube SEO in 2017, but conventional wisdom tells us that they’re especially useful for ensuring that your videos pop up in “related” searches.

Considering that YouTube provides a 500-word limit for tags, there’s a generous amount of space for you to insert relevant terms for your video. To stay aligned with YouTube’s best practices, refrain from stuffing and instead hone in on related and colloquial keywords related to your video.

Default thumbnails are rarely flattering and don’t do much to signal your video as “must click.”
