i don't create a kosher kitchen or avoid chametz for passover

i live an inclusive life i share most of my resources time and spaces w other people and they aren't kosher or know what chametz is

i'd rather just read about the passover story on passover and observe awareness of the story

i can keep kosher to a certain level but like unless i lived and existed in a jewish only community or just was alone all the time there's literally no way for me to successfully perform the tradition correctly. it's not possible.

and i don't think religion is worth changing things abt my life like being socially focused and working w the public and being out in shared spaces and environments all the time.

i can only observe it to the point where it can fit into my daily life if it doesn't i modify the practice or observance of it and if anyone dislikes that i dislike them

It def looks like tori's parents neglect him I doubt they even actually "raised" him since they're so hands off and absent in his life and hardly mentioned by him ever. Anyways, his dad is mentioned by the monks having said to be strict with Tori or "take care" of him and that's pretty much it, super vague. Don't you eat anything? That's a south asian mom question. Kid is overweight/underweight/perfectly healthy - you'd be asked this question if you aren't living with the family all the time. If they don't ask you, they don't love you. Simple formula. They adore you and since you were visiting after so much time, no matter how you looked, for family members you are always THIN😂since you aren't used to eating Punjabi food, they were just making sure you liked it and tasted everything. So next time don't hesitate to tell them if you don't like a certain food. They'd just take it away.

We Punjabis are naturally loud. Like LOUD. There are exceptions of course but in parties etc it just HAPPENS. and you only witnessed a screaming match. They'd have cursed each other(maybe you didn't understand those bt i can bet there was a shower of affectionate curses) it's normal. Indians value family too much so that's y it's like this. My father wakes me up with curses and thats totally fine bcs it's AFFECTIONATE. Hugs solve everything so why not just fight passionately. You were there too so your boyfriend didn't want to lose and you were there so his uncle didn't want to lose either!! Impressions are important!!

Don't refuse gifts. Take everything they give you. The ones you didn't accept would eventually end up in your house😂😂so why not take them when they are being given! On first visits, we always give guests some money. You are going to be part of their family(let's assume safely. May god bless you both) so it was only right that they gave you something. It's not abt boundaries actually. There are certain ways of showing affection and wt they did is wt we face here in daily routine. Patting your back is a way of their telling "stay happy forever" "may you never face any problems in your life" "you were great today" "we loved meeting you" and such. It depends on context.

Abt touching feet. It's a tradition in hindu families, as far as I know. I'm a sikh Punjabi and my mother has taught me to never touch anyone's feet bcs "daughters shouldn't be touching other's feet" but my male cousins do touch feet. Maybe in rish's family it's a tradition but you shud let him know if you feel uncomfortable bt it's a sensitive matter of tradition so talk this out carefully. It depends upon how he Takes it. I really don't know abt this bcs my father never lets me touch his feet or anyone's for that matter.

Whatever you r feeling is fine. Calm down. You will get used to all this. with time, you'll be able to differentiate between their love and hate langauge. Someday just think abt their actions and how they made you feel and the specific parts that you think you can't bear. I'm sure they'll understand.      and this is her first great disappointment: fjerda, her father, not only actively rejects her, but would destroy her if she drew his attention. asta learns from her mother to hide from fjerda-as-father: when you use your power, be subtle. when you use your power, be quiet, be cautious. don’t let anyone notice you, don’t let anyone catch sight of who you really are. veronika — herself straddling the line between tidemaker and heartrender, but with more skill as a heartrender than her daughter — teaches asta only a handful of things, but just enough that asta — becoming astoria — can put the rest together herself —

     she can boil water for tea. she can speed or slow water, and move it in the ways that she wants. she can find the water in blood — and therefore she can boil the water in blood, she can slow or speed the flow of blood, she can halt it entirely to force a blood clot in a wound. she can locate the water in someone’s hair or clothing and wick it away ( wet hair and clothes are dangerous in a place like fjerda! better to stay dry! ), and therefore she can locate the water vapor in the air and manipulate that. shape it. redirect it. if she can move water, she can move ice. if she can move water, she can move it away from salt, and make sea water safer to drink. 

     over and over, veronika teaches asta the things that she needs to survive, without ever telling her what these things are; as a result, asta, though blessed with a fair amount of raw power, is horribly unprepared. she kills the first drüskelle by accident — her absolute fury at seeing her mother harmed inspiring her to lash out viciously — and she has to try and mimic that with the two drüskelle who hunt her next, and it’s a long shot. veronika thinks that if she simply never tells asta that she is in possession of something so desperately deadly, then she’ll never be found out for it. 

     and she could move. she is aware of the danger she’s in — her own mother and sister were killed by drüskelle when she was a young teenager ( as described here ), and she knows what it is to lose a mother, and to be on the run. her father and brother are in ravka, and she could go to them. instead, veronika refuses to leave; fjerda is as much hers as anyone else’s, she reasons, and while she’s not wrong, it does endanger a child who has a very limited understanding of her own danger. it’s more important for veronika to ensure that she gets her own revenge on fjerda — by remaining there, by remaining unmarried, by raising her daughter in the same tradition without shame or fear — than that her daughter, whose power manifests at a young age, is safe from the drüskelle. 

     and veronika’s anger is not a surprise to asta? if anything, it’s a constant companion. as much as asta learns to fear fjerda-as-father, she learns to try to look after her mother, whose anger and grief never quite leave her. so asta grows up fairly quickly, not simply to avoid detection, but to care for her mother. and veronika is, in other ways, a wonderful role model — independent, clever, self-sufficient — but she never fully wants to be a mother and so when asta comes, she almost expects asta to fill the role of sister more than daughter. 

     when asta is caught — because she, at nineteen years old, was so desperately lonely in her isolation that she told her closest childhood friend about what she could do, and he panicked and called for the drüskelle — the drüskelle threatens her mother first, suspecting that she is grisha as well and recognizing the surname. asta responds by lashing out when she sees her mother struck across the face, killing the drüskelle. her immediate response to this is to coach her own mother: tell the drüskelle who come looking for them that you didn’t know. i killed him, and then i knocked you down to escape. you don’t know where i’m going. 

     and veronika does it. veronika, overwhelmed by fear, agrees to asta’s plan, and she doesn’t follow her daughter, or offer to go with her. she reports exactly that to the drüskelle who come next, and she submits to testing by the amplifier only after she’s covered her wrist in parafin, and when she’s released she moves to elling under the guise of wanting to escape a place where her daughter lied to her for nearly two decades, in reality out of a deep sense of shame. 

     it’s some time before asta — astoria, then — is able to fully grasp the depth of how her mother let her down, but she feels so deeply guilty for bringing the drüskelle into their home that she finds it difficult to hold her mother accountable for such a betrayal.

hi dear! oh no :( I'm so sorry, that's such a hard position to be in - I havent been in school for a few years, and not in high school since 2012 yikes lmao, so I'm sure things have changed a bit but hopefully I can still give some advice that helps?

I'd say first and foremost, talk to a trusted adult you know in person about how you're feeling - whether that be a parent, older sibling, favorite teacher, advisor, etc. they may have advice more specific to your situation that might take into account details I dont know. and while this is my first piece of advice, it can also be the hardest? sometimes facing our demons and being honest about them with others who have only seen our "good side" can feel impossible, but it can be a crucial step to help build a support system that you can go to when you feel you're struggling

the next thing I'd say is, on a small scale, start taking time for yourself. I know that's like. the hardest thing to do when you have like 6hr of homework a night, minimum, plus clubs or sports or other activities that take time, but literally even sneaking five minutes between some bits of homework to do something that's calming and centering for you can make a difference - if you can grab five minutes to go sit in a space you feel comfortable, away from your work, to breathe and think about something other than your work, that can be helpful

the next one is sorta like. tangential, but take care of your body as well - you're still a growing and developing human, so this is ESPECIALLY important, but drinking lots of water (and not too many sugary drinks/chemical drinks) and eating veggies and getting enough protein can literally make such a big difference in your brains ability to function at it's best. the other important thing here is sleep - every body is different, so keep in mind what your body does best on and (when you can) aim for that. between hydration, good nutrition, and sufficient sleep, you're laying a foundation that can help your brain be more successful throughout the day

I wish, ultimately, i had a perfect answer for the fucked up school system (esp in America which is what I'm most familiar with), but it honestly sets you up to fail. what (unintentionally) worked well for me was having a blow-off class or two - classes that were easy for me (like sign language, or French 1 after I'd already taken Spanish for several years) and could help boost my GPA without stressing me out as much. if you can find those classes- and definitely look for the ones that are easy for YOU, don't just ask around for the easiest classes - that can be a really nice break in your day and help relieve you of some after-school stress

here's another "honesty is the best policy" situation - if you find yourself struggling to understand a concept, or homework is taking you so much longer than some of your peers (or the teacher says theres only an hour of hw a night and you end up spending far longer on it) talk to the teacher! tell them you're struggling, and ask if you can get some help understanding a topic. be specific about what you dont understand (dont just go "I dont get it") and explain your thought process - this can help teachers understand where you're veering off the path and what you might be missing. and, more importantly, if you're coming in for help, they're more likely to be lenient with you because they know you're trying (yes I'm aware that was more a "school help in general" bit of advice but in case that's something you're struggling with)

now heres....maybe some controversial advice. take calculated risks. example: if a teacher has a policy where they drop your lowest homework grade in a class and you're doing alright in that class, but you have a day where you're saddled with WAY too much work for another class where you're struggling, it's okay to say "okay, today I need to go to sleep by 10pm, I can either finish this difficult homework or complete homework for the class that will drop a grade", sometimes it makes more sense to skip that one homework and get a zero to spend time dedicated to the class you're struggling in and get rest. in a similar vein, there is also a limit to studying - there is a point where you physically cannot absorb more knowledge. it is so much better for your brain - both from a focus and memory standpoint - to get a little extra sleep than to stay up late studying well past the point where you will retain knowledge.

now....again, I havent been applying to colleges in ages so my advice might be a bit stale, but colleges tend to look for good grades but also challenging classes, or improvement over time in classes, etc etc. they want to know you're working hard, and that you have diverse interests. college apps are a bit like resumes honestly, except you cant lie about your GPA. but like. you can fluff everything else. literally EVERYTHING becomes fair game with college apps. you can talk about fanfic or a fandom you're in if you phrase it the right way, like there are barely rules lmao. and you can make yourself sound very appealing

so my advice would be basically this: work hard, but learn your personal limits. figure out how much sleep a night makes you feel awake and focused the next day (again, it varies!) and aim for that as much as you can. try to eat nutritiously when you can, and drink lots of water. dedicate time to your homework and studying, but be sure to take regular breaks and ACTUALLY shift your brain away from your work during those breaks. and it's also good to dedicate time to life activities - like I said, colleges want to know you're a diverse person. spend time in clubs you like or playing sports if that's your thing, or do things unconnected to school. and remember, you can fluff that all up on a college app! but also remember - you have to live with you for the rest of your life, and there are so so many paths to a good job or a college education if that's what you decide you want, be sure to prioritize your health as much as you can. the education system tricks you into this never ending cycle of "if I just push through ___________ I'll get to ___________!" and taking that through your life can be really challenging and exhausting. I need to acknowledge that some of this is easy for me to say - I was a good test taker in high school, I went to college, and I bullshitted my way through (that's a whole other story lmao) but like. I need to acknowledge that, by some privilege and luck, I do have a college education. so when i say this next thing, please take it with a grain of salt, but there is more to life than chasing what society tells us to chase - there is family, there are friends, relationships, hobbies and interests and love and dreams and spending hours playing video games and SLEEP and getting sunburned cause you spent too long out under the sun photosynthesizing and collecting pens or shiny rocks and ANIMALS there is so so so much in life and I hate with such a burning passion that, for the first 22 years of our lives, we are told the ONLY thing in life is getting through college, getting a degree. again, I need to acknowledge that I say that with a background of privilege, and that education can help people get out of bad situations, etc, but there are many paths to education and they dont all require you to put life on hold to get there

let me tell u a story real quick, cause my education looks (from the outside) "easy" (turns out I had depression and eating disorders of all kinds yeehaw !!!!). my sister did NOT have an easy time in school - my parents could afford it, so she had a tutor for some of her challenging subjects, but she also dealt with anxiety and depression the entire time. she didnt get into the college she wanted to, but got put in a sort of program where, if she got good enough grades in some community college courses, she could get into the school. so she worked her ass off, dove even deeper into her mental health issues, but eventually did get in. and then she had challenging classes and didnt have a great support system, and she ended up failing out of many of her classes, to the point where she got put on academic probation. so she took a year off, got a job at a daycare, and I have literally never seen her happier or more well-adjusted. shes going back to school now, for early childhood education, and working part time at the daycare while she takes a light course load at school

another story for you - my aunt graduated high school and went straight into the workforce. she came from a dirt-poor family and couldn't afford it. she bounced around a bit, but eventually found company that she worked well with. they paid for her to go to school, and she finally got a degree many years after what we would consider "traditional". she had a few other jobs, but shes been at her current company now going on 20 years, has been through several promotions, and works directly with a c-suite employee. she is also the only woman in her office, a very traditional trucking company where she works with engineers on a daily basis

there are many paths to education, if that's where you want to go, and it's okay if it ends up looking different from the traditional path were told to follow. do what you can to avoid sacrificing your mental health for an education - if its what you want, you will get there. and remember to ask for help along the way!! bullet journalling is something extremely trendy atm and it's an amazing way to keep your life in check while also being super aesthetic and impressing all your family and friends looking at the journal. it doesn't always have to be the most extravagant thing in the world or even that neat. all that matters is that it's able to function for you and what you want to do with it.

let's start with the basics of starting a journal, shall we?

[1] GET A NOTEBOOK

this doesn't have to be the big, nice expensive notebooks all the studyblrs use. if you want to splurge go ahead and get them, but you don't necessarily need them. all you need is a simple notebook, whether it's lined, unlined, gridded, or dotted.

here's the common notebooks people use:

moleskine notebooks (usually the classic notebook, size large, and dotted pages)

leuchtturm 1917 notebook

essentials grid-lined notebook, large, a5

muji spirals

any dotted/grid lined notebook

of course, you obviously don't need to use any of these, but these are the common ones people use. personally, i use a soft cover, large, gridded moleskine notebook, but i think any of these options would be great for anyone.

[2] FIND INSPIRATION

personally, i think this is one of the most important steps of starting a bullet journal. one, it allows you to figure out what you personally want to do with your bullet journal, and two, you can get a feel for the decorations. here's where i find most of my inspirations:

also that's another tip i have for instagram. make sure to save them in collections so you can refer back to the images!! basically, to save in a collection there's a little flag thing in the right hand side of the banner at the bottom of the picture that holds the like, comment, and dm buttons. press and hold on that and you're asked to add to a collection. if you didn't make one already, press the plus button and create a bullet journal inspiration collection and it's exteeemely helpful. trust me on this.

°˖✧ tumblr ✧˖° personally, i don't check bullet journal stuff on here as much so i don't have any blog recommendations, but occasionally i would search up "bullet journal" and there's a ton of images and masterposts that come up. i definitely suggest to check there!

if you want a basis of which blogs to check, the studygrams i mentioned above usually have a tumblr blog where they blog and repost other blogs' bullet journal spreads so definitely check there.

the community is extremely interconnected so you can definitely find amazing inspiration for spreads and where to start on there!!

these are really helpful if you want flip-throughs with explanations and the step -by-step process people take to make all of their spreads. most people upload their monthly spreads which is super helpful when you're first setting up your bullet journal.

there's a lot of setting up bujo videos as well, so you probably won't get too lost.

[3] KNOW FOR WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO USE YOUR JOURNAL

the whole point of your bullet journal is that you're going to come back to it and use it again. many of my friends had tried to start a bullet journal and quit because they couldn't keep up with it.

you're going to want to make sure your bullet journal is functional for you and what you want to do with it. originally, the bullet journal was made as a personalized planner that you can use whenever you feel like it. personally, that's for what i use it. i also like to make random color inspiration spreads and quote spreads. this is all up to you, though.

here's some ideas for what you can use your bullet journal:

[4] GET YOUR WRITING UTENSILS AND START WRITING

this is the second most important step after you get your notebook. you want to have things with which you like to write so you're motivated to go back to your notebook and start journalling.

you don't need any of the fancy pens everyone has. in fact, you just need one pen and you're good. some people like to use a lot of different colors, markers, and watercolors (i'm guilty of this) but it's not necessary. i personally think the minimalistic bullet journals but i'm not very good at doodling, so i go kinda extravagant.

[5] GO GET WRITING!!

this is where you have the most fun! go and start your bujo!

go put your pens to use!!

take that inspiration and make your own spreads!!

take your time and think about what you actually want to write. i have a ton of unused spreads because i didn't like them/didn't use them. the good thing about this system is that it's adaptable; you can figure out what worked for you one month, what didn't, and use that to work on the next month!

there's multiple ways you can make your spreads. they can be kinda extravagant, or minimalistic. what i mean by extravagant is using the whole shebang: pictures, washi tape, calligraphy, watercolor, etc. it doesn't have to be that way!! you can be minimalistic with just a pen and paper. they both look gorgeous.

for me, i like to do extravagant spreads. thus, i find a lot of my pictures here on whi and on pinterest. (my pinterest is ladyofthemidnights [plug, plug]) i usually pick one main color (besides black) to use every month and thus, i go to my collections to pick pictures within that specific color criteria.

after i find the pictures i want to use, i go ahead and put that in a document and print that off. i cut them out and lay them aside and start working on my monthly spreads.

for the monthly overview i used to use the traditional calendar layout but then i ended up switching to the list calendars like shown in the original bullet journal video. i like to make a mood board page with some of the pictures i pick out, washi tape that coordinates with the color of the month, and a song lyric/quote of some kind.

i've been trying to use a habit tracker but i always forget to fill it in.

[6] STAY MOTIVATED

now that you pulled all the stops to starting a bullet journal, it's important that you keep up with it and you actually want to write in your journal.

staying motivated is important, whether it'd be by looking at a ton of pictures on social media or videos on youtube. nonetheless, you'd want to find a way to make you feel excited for writing in your notebook.

PSA: it doesn't matter if your bujo is the most aesthetic thing on the planet. as long as you love it, it's great and especially pretty.

the bujo is meant for functionality above all, as well. this system was created for people to be able to have a functional notebook to write down the things they need to write down that's easily malleable. as long as you can write down what you need to write down, it's a win.

Give us a summary of their backstory.  a rowdy teenager always in trouble, comes from a large extended family, low-middle class, pulled into the high school-to-military pipe. What’s their full name and does it have a meaning? Do they have any nicknames and how did they get em? Maxwell Ortiz, named after his grandfather who he was very close to. Called Vulture in high school for his looks and morbid sense of humor, earns “Mad Dog Max” in the military

What’s their sexual, romantic, and gender orientation? Do they feel comfortable telling other people? Bisexual, Biromantic, Transgender male He doesnt try to hide who he is, but he doesn’t volunteer the information either. 

Do they have any mental illnesses? How do they cope? Max has bipolar depression and PTSD pre-war, and it doesnt exaclty get better after he thaws out Moslty he tries to keep busy. He deals w sensory overload by finding a small, quiet place to curl up and rest, favorite sensory stims for staying calm and focused are soft textures. he carries a small keychain stuffed animal he found in his pocket, and collects scraps of nice fabric and teddy bears. he’ll also run his hands thru his hair. he has an oral fixation and if he’s not occupied w a cigarrette he finds something to chew on, bites his nails, chews his fingers, picks at his skin too. 

Do they have any medical conditions? Is medicine/ treatment available for them? Max loathes doctors, his only regular visit is to refill testosterone. 

How much do they care about their outer appearance? What’s their “beauty routine”? How often do they shower/ bathe? Max neglects his appearance and hygiene and needs to be reminded to take care of himself. He loses weight and muscle mass quickly, noticing it can trigger dysphoria. 

What do they fear the most? He will tell you hes already lived through his worst fear, losing Maria and his entire family, but ultimately, he fears being alone and becoming a bad person.

Current companion if any? prefers company by alot. he’s usually w danse, the two are joined at the hip. he also enjoys being w deacon, preston, and maccready. he gets along well w piper and curie. i’m not sure if he’d ever find cait, but he’d fall ass over teakettle for her. i’m not sure if he’d ever travel w most of the other companions. 

Would you describe them as selfless or selfish? Does it depend on the situation? He’s pretty selfless, he cant stand suffering and will do his best to correct it. High empathy. 

What do they find most attractive in others? Name at least one psychological and physical trait. (doesn’t have to be romantic attraction) Kindness, honesty, and humor.  Physically, he has a weakness for full, round asses and nice thighs, hands that reveal secrets about their owners

Do they flirt often? How easily do they fall in love? its rare for him to be comfortable enough to be flirty, but when he is he’s damn good at it. he does fall quickly but takes a long time to understand the feelings for what they are.

Do they prefer to solve things diplomatically or using violence? He gives diplomacy a chance, but he’s not good at it. breaking noses is easier.

Their most prized possession? a small collection of photos and holotapes codsworth preserved. he has a family photo of him, maria, his parents, and siblings w their children all together the tapes are mixes of pre-war rock n roll made by maria.

How’s their aim? Do their hands shake while pointing a gun? he’s a pretty decent shot, but not spectacular. steady hands. 

What are their thoughts on having to kill on a daily bases in order to survive? Does it take a toll on them? Or do they shake it off rather easily? He becomes numb to it. it comes creeping up on him on Bad nights, and thats where the fear of becoming an evil person comes in. 

Thoughts on death if any? (ex. Fear it, accept it) “I am not allowed to die. I have people that need help.” He is very tired, lots of thoughts wishing for death, to rest. Tries to survive, but. He doesn’t really want to. 

Do they move around a lot or prefer to have a place to call home? Both, eventually calls Railroad HQ and Diamond City home, but never stays in one place for long. 

What’s their favorite location? gonna be cheesy: in Danse’s arms

Their opinions on ghouls, feral and not feral? Not feral: theyre just people. they didnt choose this. they’ve survived unknowable pain, and deserve respect and understanding.  feral: killing them is mercy. he feels that they must have suffered greatly in becoming feral, and their bodies are probably still incredibly painful to live in, resulting in their aggression. 

Do they scavenge for their supplies or simply buy them? both, also a big fan of trading.  “whos fuckin idea was it to use bottlecaps of all the goddam-”

Are they the type to get distracted and go off to an unknown nearby location or do they stay on track? Stay on track, but very curious and enjoys exploring. will note locations to scavenge later if he cant get to them right away

How do they sleep? Are they picky about where and how or can they sleep basically anywhere? Max likes a tight, secure place to sleep. he’s usually between and wall and danse. if he feels like he’s in a fairly safe location, getting to sleep is easy, tho he startles awake rather easily and has night terrors. if someone tries to wake him suddenly, like with a loud noise or grabbing and shaking him, they are very likely to get hurt. 

What’s their favorite radio station and song? (post-apocalypse) Atom bomb baby, uranium fever, and rocket 69

What’s their favorite post-apocalyptic food? Are they a picky eater? Do they know how to cook? favorite: sweets, candy, and mutfruit Not a picky eater, but he usually doesnt have much of an appetite either. He eats what hes given, usually without thinking about it or really tasting it He has a fair amount of knowledge and skill in the kitchen, being always at his mothers’ heels in everything domestic. he loves his parents and was always eager to help.

What’s their favorite beverage? Do they drink alcohol? he’s rather fond of quantum for the nastalgia and energy-drink buzz,  enjoys alcohol, likes beer, will drink whatever hes handed, if given a choice he likes whisky and nuka cola.

Are they good at disarming traps or do they constantly miss them? always walking into them. if he does notice one before hand he’s pretty bad at disarming them, he usually just tries to set them off from a safe distance.

Putting it under the cut cause- VERY long results

1 - How old is your character? Rosie (despite look around 19/25) is several hundred years old. No one knows her exact age (She gives the old “It’s rude to ask a wizard her age~” whenever you ask). 

Diana is (Currently, since she time travels and ages at some point in the book I’m writing with her) is 14! :>2 - How well would you get along with your character? Rosie is awesome! (And basically me if I were a carefree wizard) however, she does get out-of-hand sometimes (A stern “Rosaline!” will instantly reel her in though). 

Diana is a bit too stiff for me, I feel like we’d be friendly acquaintances at best.  3 - If your character had a favorite Disney character, who would it be? Rosie’s would definitely be Mabel from Gravity Falls! (Does Disney XD count???) 

Diana’s would probably be Moana (From Moana) 4 - What’s the worst thing your character has ever experienced? Diana (At the moment- this might change) meets what is basically her family through time travel, and her goal is to help them get powerful enough to cast certain spells. Unfortunately, once that’s over and done with, she has to go back, otherwise the timeline will be messed up. Being completely alone in her own time, willingly leaving her family (and being gone for a good chunk of their lives) is the hardest thing she has to do. She later meets up with their older selves, but notices several battle-scars and memories she wasn’t there for. She feels like she wasn’t there when they needed her most, and despite what they say, she still thinks about it even years after. 

Rosie… No one knows what Rosie’s worst memory is. Her pupils have asked- mostly to ask why she sometimes screams in her sleep, or why tears gather at the corners of her eyes whenever it snows -but she never answers. Sometimes, they aren’t even sure she knows. There have been times where they tap her shoulder (she would be staring at the snow through a window while crying silently) and she’d turn around and act as if everything was fine. “Miss Rosie? Why are you crying?” “Crying? Am I? Oh… I’m not sure.” She also flinches at the name ‘Akinson’. (Akinson Daily is a newspaper in her universe- which just raises more questions) 

5 - Does your character like animals? Rosie is indifferent towards them. As far as she’s concerned, they’re just part of the scenery.

Diana likes any and all familiars (She lives in a magic world) as for non-magical animals, she’s properly cautious with bigger animals, and can pet the small friendly ones with a smile on her face. 6 - What is your character’s Jung/MBTI personality type? *Shrug* I don’t know nothin’ bout’ that.7 - What is his/her Zodiac sign (astrological/chinese)? No thank you. (I will answer no questions) 8 - How well does you OC deal with stress? Rosie usually sits on a hill somewhere (or anywhere high up really) and watches sunsets to calm her nerves. If she’s really wound up however -well, she once disappeared for days and came back with burn marks and a bag of gold coins (Her response to this was, “Nothing like an adventure to spice things up!”). 

As for Diana- ‘I got this.’ becomes her catch phrase. She doesn’t really deal with it… well. Diana is the kind of person who let’s her stress get so bad that she stops sleeping. Her friends usually have to force her to sleep and drag her out for dinner. A good ole’ festival or late night walk will chill her out though. Really, her friends can distract her from anything. 9 - Is/Would your OC be ‘tech-savvy’? (This one’s funny to me because they both live in magic worlds with a little technology) Rosie wouldn’t care for computers and stuff- but if you gave her one with nothing else to do, she’d know the in’s and out’s of it in an hour or so. 

Diana would use tech for anything she needed to (Work mostly) and be really bad with anything else.10 - What is your OC’s greatest fear? Rosie isn’t afraid of her pupils getting hurt (getting hurt is part of learning, and if that’s the cost then so be it) what she’s afraid of is them getting hurt or killed because of her. Diana’s fear for most of her life was being alone, but as she goes on her adventure and earns her little non-related family, it becomes letting them down in any way, shape, or form. 11 - Does you OC have any phobias or disorders? Rosie had pretty severe social anxiety when she was little (something no one believes, considering her current personality). It’s rumored that she has a fear of a certain magic-growing tree. She will neither confirm or deny this. 

12 - What is something your OC is secretly good/decently talented at? Rosie has millions of little things she’s good at for some reason- she’s excellent at dancing (particularly traditional festival dances, though she somehow knows the steps to traditions she’s never been a part of).

Diana’s been reporting on magic and wizards and things since she was twelve and a half. She’s exceptionally good at remembering obscure details and being completely unfazed by the strange spells of other wizards. (Which does wonders when someone is trying to intimidate you) 13 - Is he/she superstitious? Rosie pretends to be sometimes, but it’s mostly to fool children (and they believe her because she’s probably the only magic user they’ve ever met).

Diana would scoff at the thought. She is a woman of science and history. 14 - If your character was in one or more fandoms, what would they be in? Rosie would be into Little Witch Academia (It reminds her of her younger years, funny enough), Doctor Who, and My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic (She likes Pinkie Pie the most). 

Diana would be a huge dork for Harry Potter and Miss Peregrines Home For Peculiar Children. She’d also be a bit of a closet fan of musicals (Specifically Waitress. She would love Waitress).15 - Is your character more intellectual, athletic, or somewhere in between? Rosie is more silly than intellectual (though she does have moments that hint at the mind beneath her silly smiles- they take everyone by surprise and scare them sometimes with how serious she sounds). What she lacks in athletic strength, she makes up for in magical power. 

Diana is definitely more of an intellectual. You don’t have to try hard to topple her over. You could like like. Poke her. Then boom. She’s on the ground. Probably bruises easily too. She is the target of many jokes from her ‘friends’. 

16 - What Harry Potter house is he/she in? Rosie is a Hufflepuff for sure. 

Diana is a Slytherin! :>17 - Extrovert or introvert? Rosie is an ambivert! She love interacting with people but also has days of quiet book-reading next to her fireplace. 

Diana is an introvert. 18 - Is he/she more of a leader or a follower? Both leaders. 

19 - How does your OC feel about romance? Rosie usually doesn’t have an opinion on this kind of thing- however once, when she was very tired, and not thinking, she let it slip that “I probably don’t deserve that kind of thing considering…” before promptly falling asleep on her desk. 

Diana thinks she has better things to do with her time then date. However, the right boy would be able to knock her out of her tower of tunnel vision, and turn her life upside-down. So, she’d say absolutely not- but if the right boy came along, her heart would take over.
