on the topic of getting into dumbass fights, thinking about how i actually made friends with a number of the guys i got into fights with, including this guy Brandon who then rewched out A FEW YEARS AFTER I MOVED LIKE "hey remember me, you kicked me in the colon" which ended being this inside joke in our friendgroup where anytime he saw me he would yell "My colon!"

i love how brennan so carefully described evan and sams relationship, making sure it was as open ended as possible, only describing it as romantic after danielle had first established that, so that she was just as involved in the life the two of them live in the future. it shows just how much he treasures her opinion irl, making sure her character gets agency whilst still being deeply cared about in world, that they get to make these decisions together

but also it meant a lot to me as someone whose aro ace, that it didn't Have to be a romantic relationship, that you can have a deep and meaningful relationship with someone without it being tied to societal norms. just because something gets perceived as romantic by others, doesn't inherently mean it Must be and that's final.

and danielle defining it as romantic doesn't throw that away. she chose the option she felt described them best. but the fact there were options in the first place, that these characters didn't Have to end up in a romantic relationship, that deep platonic relationships have been so woven into mismag between the pilot program.

it just means a lot to be seen

(for the record i personally i see sam and evan as being in a qpr (with each other and the other pilots in various spider webs and helpful diagrams), but thats the joy of headcannons. happy for evsam truthers, y'all enjoy and have a field day, and ill sit back here with my thoughts and watch c: )

do you like morally grey characters? too bad; this man is irredeemable. meet med school student!character who is the med school's (and maybe the whole campus's) "golden boy"; he's bright and charming and handsome. he volunteers every weekend. he's effortlessly top of the class. he's going to become a doctor! you'll always catch him with a smile on his face, and a benevolent, helping hand, even for people who don't ask for it. everyone loves him, from students to staff. everyone wants to be on his good side; he comes from one of the most influential, wealthy families in the country. he's perfect. everyone thinks so.

except for you. as a journalism major, you need to be able to sniff out a story, and when you overhear a student acting evasive but telling someone on the phone that "after tonight, [he's] going to be set for life", naturally your curiosity is peaked. you start to follow this student, trying to see what he's getting at, but when you lose sight of him for a few minutes, you're trying to rush to see where he went. outside one of the older lab buildings on campus, you catch a glimpse of a tall figure leaving out the back door. you're inclined to follow him, assuming it might be the same student, but when the figure turns his head before quickly slipping away, you pause. it's just character.

you hear the screams first before you can venture any closer to the building. well, you've found the student you were tailing: dead, with his head cracked open against the pavement.

or, to wrap things up: your conscience won't let this slide, so you report him to the detective on the case, not knowing that this one action would trigger the start of the most intense game of cat and mouse. for someone cold and unfeeling, who merely tolerates everyone and holds no special regard for other humans, the only thing keeping him from killing you is that you're the first person to ever hold his interest. but with his dark obsessive nature and untouchable status, this still isn't necessarily good news for you...

One Direction brought me to this hellsite and as much as sometimes I truly do not like it here, this place is still what I’d consider a safe space for me because it’s filled with people who just get it, when it comes to the boys and tonight I’ve seen people back on my dash I haven’t seen in months because when news like this hits this is still the main place we come to for comfort and to feel free to let out our emotions without having to explain ourselves because we all just get it.
