HAPPY FATHER’S DAY TO GODZILLA!!!

Happy Father’s Day to a dad who’s done a lot for both of his kids (in both instances for Junior & Minilla). Being a kaiju dad isnt easy but being able to be one and also be the fearsome King of Monsters definitely is worth celebrating. Hope they all have a great Father’s Day today :D

"You.. want me to what?" Diana blinks.

"Come with me! To meet everyone!" Lily smiles. "Since, yknow.. our lessons are on hold, I thought you'd.. maybe want to see them?"

Diana ponders it for a few moments. It was true that the kaiju was a.. bit of a recluse. She's only met the others once, when her descendant and a few others had fallen of a yacht. So meeting Lily's family didn't seem to daunting of a task.

Except that..

Diana sweats a bit.

She would surely attract attention, as the smallest her form could go was 6 feet. That, and clothing manipulate was an absolute bitch to figure out for long term.

Still..

She looks down at Lily, who is looking up at her with hopeful eyes. The siren smiles warmly, her minor worries melting away.

With a flick of her tail, she launches into the air before water surrounds her form. She then lands directly beside Lily, her form now much smaller, standing at 6 feet tall. While her hair and crown stayed the same, the most noticeable difference was her outfit.

When Lily usually trained with Diana, the siren had a dress that was open in the front but trailed off into a siren-like tail at the end, with her normal seashell top. However, this time, the siren's outfit was different.

Her outfit was more of a flowy dress. It was the usual black of Diana's tail and top, but the end trailed to a dark yet gentle gradient of dark blue with some sparkles. The front of the dress was open, however. It revealed the entirety of Diana's legs yet still covered her torso and chest. She wore some shorts as well that seemed to blend with the dress, that stopped just a bit above her thighs. To top it all off, she wore black dress shoes that seemed oddly comfortable, and a black arm band was securely snug around the entirety of her arm, ending just below her shoulder.

Lily stares, shocked. Then, she narrows her eyes and points. "Turn it into a cloak."

"Wh-" Diana sputters. "Why?!"

"Because you're too pretty, and I don't want anyone staring at you." She grumbles.

The older woman blinks in surprise before laughing gently. She pats Lily's head with a smile. "That just means you'll be as pretty as me when you grow up."

That seems to distract Lily, as she smiles widely. Diana returns the smile, heart warm to seeing her descendant happy.

As Lily speaks on and on, pointing out various she and Diana walk through the Mushroom Kingdom, something catches the weathered siren's eye.

A performance. A man in a cloak performing tricks with fire.

Fire that wasn't something from this world.

Diana stops in her tracks, making Lily jolt, as the young girl was holding her hand. "A- Diana?"

She stops and looks where Diana is looking and smiles. "Oh! That's Sulfur! He's a new street performer. Apparently, he's looking for someone and is hoping that he'll find them in one of his performance." Lily tilts her head. "I think he said it was a relative or something.. someone he lost in an incident a while back. The other cloaked person behind him is apparently his friend!"

The siren merely nods, watching the flames as the dance around 'Silver Sulfur's' hands. They almost looked like flames from a fire flower, but it wasn't. The flame was off, burning too brightly and hot.

Diana glances down at Lily after a few more moments. "We can continue."

Lily smiles and nods, leading Diana away and rambling once more. Though, the woman glances back.

Cold eyes meet sharp yellow ones.

Lily kicks the doors to the castle open. "GUYS, I BROUGHT DIANA!"

Immediately comes her dad's scolding voice, "Lily Sonata Glitch, I know you did not kick those doors open when we just got the hinges repaired!" Followed by Lil Coding's, "kick them again!"

"Sonata?" Diana raises an eyebrow.

"It.. fits." Lily smiles softly. "I talked about it with dad and papa after the whole Wonder thing, and they agreed! Soooo.. I've got Sonata as my middle name!"

Diana smiles. "It fits you."

The two walk into the main lobby and are quickly greeted by Lil Coding. It was a slow trickle, with her then meeting SMG4 and SMG3. They were pleasant to get to know.

Lil Coding, Lily's brother, was wildly energetic. Diana was pretty sure that boy was on something..

Mario was.. definitely something, in Diana's opinion. However, he did clearly care for everyone, Lily included, so Diana was willing to let his odd behavior slide. The same went for Luigi, though she was pretty sure he had a heart attack when she first admitted who she was.

(BELOW WAS CHANGED BECAUSE I AM AN IDIOT. HOLY HELL DONT WRITE AT 4 AM BRO.)

Meggy was a joy to be around, the former Inkling making a good conversationalist. She seemed just the smallest bit competitive though..

Tari and Saiko were a nice duo, and Diana was very sure there was something there between them. Lily seemed to confirm that.

"Wasn't there someone else you wanted to introduce me to? Bob, was it?" Diana asks, pointedly ignoring the scuffle between Luigi and Mario over food.

Lily purses her lips. "Okay, I love Uncle Bob, but.. whenever he sees a pretty woman.."

The siren arches a brow. The young girl glances away awkwardly and gestures as a whole to Diana's body. "Uh.. he well.. listen, I just don't wanna see him act like that-"

Diana lets out a small 'snrk!' "Guppy, I doubt that he'll do anything in front of you." She then smirks a bit. "Who knows, maybe I'll like him."

"WHAT?!"

"He owns a hotel..?" Diana hums as she walks in.

"Yeah!" Lily nods with a smile. "And he's really good at finance stuff, surprisingly. We just usually gotta make sure he doesn't spend it all on gambling.."

The siren nods as the two walk through the lobby. Lily looks around the semi-filled lobby, as if looking for someone. Then, she frowns. "Aw, doesn't look like Duck is here.."

"Who?" Diana blinks.

"Y'know, Duck!" Her descendant looks up at him. "The guy I sometimes talk about? Duck?"

The siren sweats a bit as she tries to remember. "Guppy.. I mean this very kindly, but maybe you need your eyesight checked.."

The younger siren stares up at her. "D-Diana, do you not remember him? Duck? With the hat?"

"Oooh."

As the two approach the front desk, Bob comes up. "Lily, how are- Holy shit, who is that-"

"Her eyes are up, Uncle Bob! UP!"

Diana laughs softly as her descendant squabbles with the Garo.

Maybe she should come and visit more often.

Song Family Dynamics

the Songs are a bit of a mixed family, the household has two dads and a mom as a polycule but they have kids from other relationships too. most of them share the same mom, except the oldest, Andréa.

Andréa is distanced from the family due to some Drama with her father, and she has such a age gap from the rest of her half siblings that she doesn't have a relationship with them. she's not even technically a Song but for convenience we refer to her as that lmao. she and Sammy have interacted more than the rest, being the oldest kids of the group, but Andréa was kind of a mess at the time and Sammy doesn't wanna be like her lmao. sorry girl, thanks for dissuading Sammy from substance abuse with your actions though teehee :)

Sammy takes the role of Oldest Sibling on easily though, even if he technically isn't the oldest. he had his time out of the house when he went to college and everything but he came back to live with the family at some point, there was Family Drama (this is a common thing in this family lmao.. vague drama u know how it is) that he felt he needed to come back to support the twins about. the twins have moved out on their own now but Sammy likes being home with the rest of the family, he has fun getting to help out with the youngest sister, Kai. Kai still sees Sammy as the Cooler Older Brother and he tries his best to keep that opinion in check lmao, of course i'll drive you somewhere no problem!

Sammy and the twins get along well, its always a fun wild time when the three of them are together. Kyri and Emma see him for the dork that he is and will tease him about him being their little big brother :) no fair that they're younger and taller than him...!!! arguments often ensue about things like who is the coolest and it gets loud and heated but they're always joking about it lmao.

Kyri and Emma are basically inseparable and have a bit of separation anxiety, stemming from aforementioned Family Drama TM. they live in an apartment together with their respective partners. the twins... you know the twins!! for some reason im blanking on things to say about them jhsfdh. i feel like the separation anxiety is stronger on Kyri's end, Emma could probably manage more distance but she doesn't mind living with her bro, she knows he needs her. and its never a dull moment with him, they're buddies and best friends!!

Laurence was adopted as a teen (13ish maybe) so he didn't grow up with all of them, Sammy was in college at the time so they don't have the greatest bond, but Sammy tries to reach out nowadays now that he's living in the house with him. he is the most reserved of the whole group but the twins try to draw him out a little, Kyri definitely being a bit more annoying about it lmao. Being the babies of the group Kai and Laurence get along well, they can confide in each other for alot of things. if Kai was like 4 when Laurence came into the family i'm sure that was a funny story to share at preschool, yay im getting a new brother! he's older than me though :)

Kai, or Kai Junior (she's named after one of her dads, yes its true), is da baby. the last teen in the house and can always count on a sibling to give her a ride somewhere, oh her social life is thriving thanks siblings! Kyri likes to call her Kaiju because come on that's a freaking rad nickname!!! he's a little jealous though if only he was Kai Junior..... the family is the most stable now at this point so luckily Kai hasn't had to deal with too much drama first hand (its vague timeline but she was probably pretty young), though she does wish that they would let her in on what happened back in the day. she does wonder about her mysterious oldest sister sometimes too, hm! maybe one day she can bridge that gap, when you're a lil older bb girl.

tbh this family has existed conceptually for a really long time and has went through alot of iterations, the parent trio were like OG ocs that i had with my cousins and it was like. alot of drama nonsense you write when you're a teen so trying to re-contextualize it now can be tricky?? like for example one of the dads was a vampire mob boss of sorts lmao. they were all vampires and were-people. how do you make that work. so some of this is Vague but i do like these lil guys anyway haha they hold a special place in my heart :)

imagine your and hoshina's wedding ceremony where narumi severely insists that he becomes the marriage officiant for you two. no priest or government official whatsoever. him, your older brother.

and as the time comes when narumi has to give his speech, he'd drone on and on about 'how big of a responsibility it is to be one's equal, how hard it is to juggle both work and personal life, how important it is not let your spouse struggle on their own' and whatnot.

and then he'd end his speech with something along the lines of "any objections towards this... wonderful union?"

lines upon lines of family and friends gathering, not a single person in the beautifully decorated hall says a word, because all of them support you and hoshina. except one, it seems.

narumi proceeds to wait for a response.

there might've been a crow flying by, perhaps.

with your hair perfectly done, face prettily dolled up and body gorgeously draped in your customized wedding dress, you shift uncomfortably on your heeled feet as you realize what the long pause is for.

gods, you're this close to strangling the loving heck out of your brother.

your husband-to-be sighs with a deprecating smile on his face, clad in his suit and looking as charming as ever (you had almost lunged to grab at his neatly straightened tie when you first stepped into the hall, to run your hand through his soft violet strands, to mess up his gracefulness and make him look as utterly ruined as he was a few nights ago... fuck, now you're irritated and horny).

"you're stallin'," hoshina finally points out your brother's obvious attempt at halting the ceremony. narumi raises an eyebrow, "no, i'm not. i'm just asking for opinions from everyone. it's good etiquette to include others too, you know?" he nonchalantly says.

that's bullshit, of course. if anything, hoshina soshiro is more versed in etiquette than narumi has ever been in his entire life.

"literally no one is sayin' anything right now," the swordsman deadpans, causing your brother to shrug. "maybe they just need more time. this is a serious matter, after all. need to think it over and all. what do you know about time, huh? hastily proposing to my sister in a goddamn hospital room after she just recovered. tch, so unethical."

"as if you bein' the officiant is not a derogatory towards ethics and tradition itself." narumi snaps at that, the faint pinkish tints that dust his cheeks reflecting his embarrassment, "what did you just say?!"

unaware of how loud his inner voice can get, kafka speaks up, "what are they arguing about? i thought they're gonna kiss already?" he asks reno as they stand side by side at the rows of seats below the altar.

the three of you freeze, reno's eyes dart around uneasily and kikoru visibly hides her face in her hands, internally groaning at the whole situation from somewhere in the distance.

hoshina turns to the older man. "kafka, ever given a marriage officiant speech before? i got a new job for ya," he says. narumi jolts beside him, stunned. "oi, what are you trying to do?!" he sneers just as the crowd starts to chatter in hushed whispers.

trailing his eyes up and down, then up and down narumi's figure again patronizingly before hoshina says, "dischargin' you from your current position, of course. what else?"

"excuse me? who gave you the right to do that?!"

"i'm the groom here. i can do whatever i want at my wedding, captain narumi."

the crowd becomes rowdier, and you grit your teeth, cursing in annoyance when the two dick-measuring males don't seem like they're gonna stop anytime soon.

you just wanted to get married in peace and this is what you have to deal with? such blasphemy!

and thus you finally snap, loud enough for everyone in the hall to hear, "for fuck's sake - may the groom fucking kiss the bride!" you insert yourself between your brother and your now husband, pulling hoshina into a ferocious kiss that he scrambles to reciprocate. narumi and all the other attendees gasp scandalously, which you don't pay any attention to, too busy trying to get yourself officially married.

all's well that ends well, you suppose.

what other shows/comic/games/movies/manga/shadow puppets doing you enjoy?

Shows: forged in fire, Bee and Puppycat, the dragon prince and avatar the last Airbender are the shows I've been watching a lot.

Comics/manga: komi can't communicate, mao, blue period, the dreaming and Kaiju 8.

Web comics(cause these deserve a whole other section(I read so many)): I shall master this family, solitary lady, my life as an internet novel and for better or for worse(they are all Isekai novels in one way or another cause I'm predictable)

Games: oxenfree, hades, persona 5 (all versions 3,4 and 5), beacon pines and minecraft((me and my lil brother play it together) also I've been thinking of starting a twitch for like art and gaming streams but I'm not sure)

And the only movies I've watched lately were pride and prejudice, Lord of the rings, lupin the third and world's hero mission.

I based her species off possums and other random things. I look at so many different animals I lost track. But all I know is that I wanted to be sure she has lil grabby hands

So a little bit more info on her and her species

Nimi is the runt of her family and so she started to push more into strategies. Nimi is just a highly intelligent kaiju is what I’m trying to say

She lays her ears flat purposefully lays her ears flat so she looks more docile to lure in prey.

And as for the species as a whole. They can fluff up! That’s their main thing. They can shed on command to get out of tight spots. They’re also pack animals (cause theyre so small so power in numbers!) but obviously with how the world is. They’re numbers have dwindled drastically.

So those two at the bottom are

Geke: a cousin who is cowardly and puts himself first

Saji: a sister who focuses on meals way more then hard work

BB: we're back all you weirdos that enjoy senpai's blog! Here again to show you the kiddos with this convoluted lore dump of post Chaldea life for senpai and his family!

Mari: please, stop talking in such a stupid way...

BB, ignoring her: a lots happen since the last time we did this! We even learned where lovely lil Maria's name came from. And daaaaww, wasn't that a sweet story?

Ed: BB, can we please get started? Sis is eyeing that water bottle and I'm afraid of what she'll do with it and our computer if you don't hurry.

BB: fine fine! Dang Mari you are just no fun huh? Anyways, just like before we're discussing the others who got a second chance at life and how they're viewed through the eyes of these two! So who first? How about, my lil darlings! The first 3 members of the Sakura 5!

Mari: why only the first 3?

BB: spoilers!

Mari: stupid. Well we've seen that Melt became a famous ice skating performer. We don't see her much but the few times we do it's pretty nice.

Ed: sometimes she acts like a big shot celebrity out in the open, but she seems more humble around us.

BB: yeah, that's melty for ya. I gave her a good amount of tsun! Have you seen the picture of her before this tho?

Mari: yeah... pretty weird. Why did you give her huge blades for legs and no hands?

BB: I guess it's just a part of my twisted lil personality!

Ed: and you wonder why Mom wants you gone from our computers.

Mari: and Lip seems happy, she's found love with someone, and her partner seems to truly love her. So that's nice.

Ed: and she's changed even more from before. No huge metal claws and a slimmer body.

Mari: again, wtf BB?

Ed: and Protea is also happily in a more normal body then before. But for her it was just too big.

Mari: she still acts like a Kaiju sometimes.

BB: yes, those three are in such happy lives. As their mother I'm so happy for them.

BB: *sigh* anyways, whose next? Hmmm... what about lil miss Gorgon?

Mari: we don't see her much, the only times we do she's forcefully dragged by mom and her friends.

Ed: and she's always hiding her face and such. She has self esteem issues for some reason.

BB: yeah, and those reasons are called "Stheno" and "Euryale"

Mari: such shitty sisters. Where do they get off messing with 'Dusa about her height?

BB: who knows?

Ed: she isn't even that tall... mom's taller and she's never self conscious.

BB: have you not heard the heaps of praise your father gives her about that?! It's so much I get sick hearing it!

Mari: oh be quiet! What I wouldn't give to have such a beautiful relationship!

Ed: woah! This is the first time hearing you say something like that!

Mari: ...well yeah... when I was young I kinda did that silly kid thing of being grossed out by their affection. It was so much I honestly thought they overdid it in front of us just to mess with us. But growing up... and seeing them still like that and the old videos from Chaldea and how everyone else talks about them... that's real genuine love! I hope one day to find a partner like that.

Ed: yeah, I'm so happy we were born into a genuinely loving family! Sometimes I hear stories of kids born because their parents thought it'd save their relatives, when they should've gone to therapy or something instead!

BB: this conversations nice and all but can we get back on topic? It's almost time for you to walk the lil mutts.

Mari: right... now who?

BB: well speaking of mutts, what about that lil dog Lobo?

Ed: lil!? He's huge! Biggest wolf I've ever seen!

Mari: and they said he was bigger back in chaldea too! Like holy crap!

BB: yeah, he got huge.

Mari: now he's at this wolf sanctuary and seems to be fine with humans now.

Ed: yeah, and he's found a nice mate again. White just like La Blanca!

Mari: you think he used his grail wish to be reunited with her? And she's the same wolf?

BB: why wouldn't that be cute? Anyways, let's do one last servant. Hmmm... actually! Why don't you talk about your dear 'ol mother?

Mari: mom? OK, I guess technically that'd fit.

Ed: well after she reincarnated she became a famous luchadora! She was an unstoppable force in the ring!

Mari: yeah, she was unbeatable! Never suffering a single defeat for her whole career!

BB: buuuuut! She retired! Care to say why?

Ed: well... after she became pregnant with us... she had to leave the ring.

Mari: and... the responsibility of taking care of us didn't allow for time to return to fighting... so she hasn't come back since.

BB: yeah, that's the thing about childcare, it can get in the way of other things.

???: BB, you better not be messing with the children!

Mari: oh hey mom!

Ed: what's going on?

Quetz: it's time to walk the dogs, come on your father's already outside!

Mari: crap! Sorry!

Ed: we're going now!

After the kids went out, Quetz had more words for the ai.

Quetz: you just can't help but try to mess around huh?!

BB: all I did was tell the truth! Can't control their reactions!

Quetz: do this again and I'm burning every device you've been in! I don't care if we lose some data, you're gone if you go too far!

BB: fine! Don't need to take it that far!

Quetz: this is you were dealing with here

So I made a godzilla au and no one can stop me.

Bare bones idea: Kaiju-Humans are a split path from human evolution, mostly. Some Kaiju-Humanoids come from space (ex;G Gigan, SpaceGodzilla etc). They live amongst humans, protect cities and such. Humanity is still learning about them.

Kaiju-Humans do keep some of their kaiju traits, such as tails, scales, feathers, moth fluff etc.

Kaiju Human Height ranges from 5ft (child kaiju) to 15ft-60ft (Adults). At an adult stage, some gain the ability to well, grow hella big for a small amount of time, said time varies from a couple of minutes to longer.

Godzilla: 17’5”, usually a no nonsense kind of man, Middle Aged mid 30s to early 40s kind of guy. Has two kids he cares about, wont say where they came from. Takes pride in his strength and care of the city he lives in. Rivalry/Enemies with King Ghidorah. Absolutely bewildered at the fact one of his kids chose to be friends with Gigan of all people.

Mothra: 13’5” tall, A peacemaker of sorts but is not afraid to kick some ass if she has to. Cares for Godzilla and his family due to a deep-rooted history. Takes on apprentices for various duties, namely regarding earth and its wellbeing. She’s sweet but got a fiery side to her. On good terms with most kaiju-humans, not the most fond of Ghidorah but wants to introduce a truce of sorts. Peace is her ultimate goal.

Godzilla Jr: 9’5” tall, Lil man with big dreams and eager to make friends with just about everybody. Adores his family to bits, including friends he considers to be family. Pretty strong for a young-un with brief moments of saying wise shit and then forgetting he did.

Minilla: 9’8” Tall, The less strong of the goji siblings but damn he tries! He trains a whole lot, even if it seems he ain’t getting anywhere. Just wants his dad’s praise. Loves his lil bro very much, will protect him, though it tends to be the other way around. He’s rather clumsy but thoughtful and caring.

Rodan: 14’3” Tall, The type to work for whoever pays the best or who will beat his ass the least. Acts as a double-agent of sorts to keep tabs on Ghidorah bros. Very proud and peacock-ish, high ego until its deflated by someone stronger than him.

 The Ghidorah Brothers

Ichi: 18’4” tall, Sometimes called King. Similarly no nonsense, cool and calculated unless something or someone seriously manages to piss him off. In that case, run. Argues with Ichi on how they should run their business (Essentially renting out employees for jobs relating to territory taking, deliveries or otherwise).

Ni: 18’1” tall, The middle brother with a penchant for violence and chaos. He’s a cheeky bastard who’ll pick on San(Kevin) but throw hands if anyone else does it. He’s the type to do things the drastic and messy way.

San(Kevin): 17’8” tall, the youngest sibling and probably the sweetest out of the three. He’s a bit of a dope but generally gets along with most folks. Godzilla scares him, He thinks Mothra is real pretty. Got that naïve innocence with a violent streak underneath.

Gigan: 15ft tall, Smug bastard with skills in mechanics and tech. A lot obnoxious and cocky in battle, will taunt until he gets his ass best, to which he runs for the hills vowing revenge. Age range is late 20s, Besties with Megalon and a big bro figure to Godzilla Junior, much to Godzilla’s protests. He’s an edgy asshole with a soft heart inside, though he wouldn’t dare admit it. Works for Ghidorah because wrecking shit and fighting is fun and he ain’t sure what else to do with himself. Slowly becoming his own person. Fucking terrified of Mothra but also kinda attracted too? I dunno, He’s into bugs.

Megalon: 15’5” tall, best friends with Gigan, two are literally thick as thieves. Very much into Steampunk and insects, finding them quite fascinating. Likes digging too, having a licence for a bigass drill. Brings out the goofier side in Gigan, an absolute himbo. Snorts when he laughs, usually wears a beetle like mask. Absolutely will get stuck in a giggle fit so bad its infectious. Enjoys a good fight, be it play fighting or serious. Yes he will ramble about bugs and different soil types for hours.

Heodrah: 14’1” tall, an unfortunate magnet for pollution. In fact, she hates pollution, so much so she does her damn best to clean it up when she can. She’s a little sickly and tired at times, but hard working and caring towards the planet. Gets along well with Mothra.

Mechagodzilla: 17’8” Tall, a mechanical rival regarding Godzilla. His goal is to defeat the guy and prove himself. After that, He’s not too sure what to do with himself but he likes doing research on outer-space and other places.

Angirus: 16’7” tall, Non-blood brother to Godzilla. They’ve known each-other since they were very little, looking out for one and other. Pudgy but a hella good fighter. Him and Godzilla make a good duo if ass needs kicking. Babysits the kids, like a fun uncle.

I had such a weirdly detailed dream!

I remember feeling convinced this was a videogame, and like it had an aesthetic like a mixture of The Bouncer and Parasite Eve? There were a bunch of characters who could all turn into some sort of super form, and I just remember that all the ladies looked super similar and boringly sexualized and one was named Candy. And also i think one of them could turn into a 80s punk style dinosaur man? The gameplay was some sort of thing where I was playing a leader or strategist or something, and I didnt actually get to see any of the battles but just picked various teams to send off to fight different threats and then it played out automatically. It was just more about time management cos certain teams could defeat certain enemies faster.

I had the general sense that my protagonist was quite heartless and sarcastic, but also that there was no consequences if someone died. Like... we were fighting alien kaiju things, and we all had the same powers as them. And we were some sort of government experiment to create controllable aliens who could fight the aliens? But then we weren’t really just humans with the alien powers, we were some sort of.. like.. framework robots..??? We looked like those posing mannequins you use in art, except plastic/metal instead of wood. So like it was a situation where all the ‘characters’ were sorta costumes we put on? For some reason in order to use various powers we had to download some sort of ‘life data’ of various human characters, and then inhabit their personality and stuff. I think all these ‘characters’ were people who were part of the original experiment to create us, and they all died and we were the only successful experiments. But I don’t know if we were robots or if like we were once human too and suffered a complete erasure of identity into like.. full alien but just capable of sentience and understanding human language, and under the control of the human troops thanks to microchips or something. So probably all the kaijus were also these weird living metal mannequins too? And like their monster forms were.. ships?? They could also ‘wear’ various shapeshifts, and these big scary ones were like their equivelant of military warships. The stolen shapes of other alien species who could survive in the vaccuum of space, like trophies of their conquest of that other planet..

Anyway so we were a lil crew of strange mannequin people! And like any of us could become any of the ‘characters’, and we’d take turns and stuff. And tease each other for not playing them right, and swap tips on how to use punk guy’s powers and etc. It was like we were living a game. But also I think we really believed we were that person while we had them ‘installed’? Even if we all sorta interpreted each person differently based on our real personalities as the robot alien things. So like the punk guy would be really confused why he has a bunch of conflicting memories of all his previous lives, and like ‘man i used to like this ice cream flavour last week why did I completely forget that??’ Tho I think it was like at first we were lucid and knew who we were and then getting overwhelmed by the human personality was a bad sign from staying transformed too long. And we all had different stats in how long we could transform before that happened? And it was like a bad status effect cos that person would freak out and start acting weird or disobeying orders. Like punk dude running away from the battlefield and trying to find his still-living girlfriend and then the HUGE DEPRESSINGNESS of when it actually happened! Cos like ‘you’re not acting like him, you look like him but you’re not him’ and then being SO CONVINCED that you’re him, and you try and remember something to prove it but you just... can’t?? And she’s saying you’re dead and you were part of some experiment?? I just recall a really sad scene of someone who was 100% convinced they were human getting some sort of gash on their arm and seeing nothing but white metal, and then tearing off their own face to find nothing else but a blank mirrorlike orb. And the rest of the party found them all curled up in the corner of the bathroom half-transformed and like.. still making sobbing noises, all glitched up through their speakers, even though they didnt have any eyes to cry with. And then like all the human higher ups would just be mad at you for causing a scene, and making them have to explain to the girlfriend that her boyfriend had donated his corpse to science and this was just a machine using his parts, and then having to pay her off to keep it secret. So no sympathy whatsoever for the poor alien robot people who were suffering huge PTSD from having to switch identities so often. Being shoved full of someone else’s memories and having to come back from that over and over again, and remember what they really were...

So like.. all the mannequin people had formed a very close little family to support each other through all this hell. And they all still had sort of an aspect of innocence even though some of them were older models than others and took parental roles in the group. They tried to just think of the whole thing as a game and make Relateable Jokes about how punk guy’s range stat is terrible, so they could deal with the whole thing. And they also tried to see it as like.. secondary to their happy family life. Just a job that they had to do to keep food on the table. And they tried to only make the older models do it, and spare the newbies as much as possible. Which caused some conflict cos at least one of the kids was all ‘waaah but i wanna fight, i wanna be a hero, i wanna prove myself!’, not fully understanding the horror of it all. Maybe they were the one who had that freakout with the girlfriend? And I think they lived in some sort of old abandoned house that they were renovating into a liveable space. Tho they were robot alien mannequin things so they could live comfortably there even before they fixed it up, they just really wanted to pretend that they were a regular normal family. Reading all this stuff in books they’d scrounged from trashcans, and idealizing the concept of humanity...

But then the protagonist leader character was really cynical and hated all this, and kept being like ‘focus on the mission!’ and stuff. It would really wound their ego if they could realize the blatant truth that they were only promoted to leader because they were the most obedient and manipulateable... And then like the actual content of the dream was about some sort of day where there were too many alien attacks at once, and all of them had to suit up, even the kids. And like they’d already lost a bunch of the ‘characters’ in battle, and everyone was having to switch between forms over and over and getting really worn out both mentally and physically. And they were all getting pissed off at leader protagonist guy, cos apparantly they’d never actually gone out to fight in battle before? Like a ‘I’m too important, I need to stay behind’ ego thing. But then today they finally broke down and confessed that they were terrified of shapeshifting and losing their identity, and it was like a really vunerable moment of such an unapproachable asshole and the moment where they really became part of the family. And i think there might have been something about the leader bot being ‘defective’ and having human memories even before using any of the ‘characters’? Like they were born already remembering being one of the scientists who created these creatures. The first person who was used as a prototype experiment, the forbidden ‘secret character’... Like.. even though they were android things they also had some sort of biological element inside their core, alien cells that were necessary to run the whole thing. And all the ‘characters’ were humans who died in the experiments to try and give these powers to humans, before the scientists gave up and started making artificial people who could use these powers instead. But like they used the dead bodies of the failed experiments sorta as petri dishes? They had to cultivate more of the alien material if they were gonna build an alien from scratch. And this particular android was made from an alien core extracted from the first prototype- that one scientist who was dying of cancer and volunteered himself as an experiment. Apparantly something actually went right in that failed attempt, and the scientist’s soul or conciousness was successfully transferred into the alien core. He survived even if his body decayed away, and while they thought they were just injecting the spark into a machine to acivate it, they actually brought him back to life. ....or this is just a machine mafunctioning because the core was defective. Leader guy is really terrified of shapeshifting because he doesnt know which answer is true. He’s scared of finding out that his memories aren’t real, if all these fake memories end up feeling exactly the same as them. Maybe they’d just fall away as easy as sand through an hourglass, and then nothing would be left except the life he leads today. And he’s not as optimistic as the others, he can’t believe that they could ever make a ‘real family’, let alone someday defeat all the aliens and get to be free. I mean the humans will probably just execute the android division after the job is done... And all the other androids hug him as he sobs and assure him that even if he isn’t human he’s still a person, he’s still real, he’s still their beloved grandpa, yknow?

And then he finally used his powers and went some sort of super form out of Love Power, and kicked all the alien ass and saved the day! But the dream ended before I got any answer as to whether the ghost of that scientist within his soul was actually real or not. I’m sure he’d be okay either way, though.

✨Family Bonding✨

Finally colored in the sketch i did some days ago for Father’s Day. Like i said then, this was inspired by the trans pride stop motion short. The idea of Godzilla taking the time to both learn & support their child from love was really sweet (loved it a lot ^^) & most importantly, i loved the idea as a whole too. Along with that i decided to add a lil bit more of context and i based it off the question: “what about the bow”

When Godzilla first found out about their child, he felt compelled to do everything for her. To him, seeing her happy & smile was much more important. If she was happy being herself, he was happy too. Following this, he would often have conversations with his daughter. Spending more time together & asking her how she was feeling. Thankfully, she always responded to be happy, going as far to confess she felt that way thanks to her own father. For listening & loving her always. Godzilla was relieved, knowing he did well in being a father & taking on the task of caring for another living being. He continued to be there for her ultimately coming to the opportunity for her to express her true self. At first, she couldn’t decide on what, then later debating on what could fit best for a kaiju like her (originally she wanted a dress but wasn’t sure if there were any in a size fit for kaiju). Godzilla later agreed to help, seeing it as a perfect bonding opportunity, and came to agree on something smaller. It was his own idea to gift her a small bow for her to wear. Instantly, she fell in love with it (most importantly giving her father the biggest hug & telling that she loved him & was the best dad in the world) and wore it everywhere she went. For her, the bow meant much more. For it reminded her that her father loves her, very much to accept her when she told the truth about herself. For Godzilla, he was very proud to have a very lovely daughter & was more than excited to see her grow into one day becoming the Great Queen of Monsters

[I had fun coming up with this idea too. I just really like wholesome stuff like this( i hope you do too). And also the idea of trans junior, sure!!! Im all for it. I just love seeing happy family bonding overall✨🥺]
