You don't like it. 

Nature itself is hostile to your misdeeds. No–heaven is–and it's staring down at your soul with contempt.

You let it. It's fitting.

It's irredeemable, to let debauchery enter his holy palace. To allow yourself to be tainted by it. Would the people you rule over honor you, if they learn of your deception? If they know how willing you are for her?

That you would throw away an eternity of salvation for a moment of her touch.

She has ruined me. The door clicks. It opens and swiftly shuts. Your weak heart is an endless drum, it beats faster with every moment her eyes rest on you.

You're still in the center of the room, as you always were whenever she came, growing suffocated under the bitter cold. You could have stayed under your blankets and waited. Certainly, she would have liked that.

But you're too restless to simply wait, haunted by guilt and tempting desire, and no amount of scripture was capable of satisfying the latter.

"I've missed you too." She says what you dare not speak aloud, blue eyes bright with overflowing warmth. She drops down on one knee, arms open wide and fingers curling in a beckoning motion. She never treats you like a queen. Rather, Eivor spoils you rotten. 

It looks so safe, that space between her arms, and before you know it you're closing the gap between you two in a needy kiss.

Oh. It was rapture. Her unholiness. 

Where she touches you, there's glory–sweet and crisp as blessed honey. Calloused fingertips trace over your body. They're worn from battle yet soothing as she holds you. Her breathless laugh tickles your neck, and the sensation is something golden. 

She's here, alive and breathing. She's showering you with her love, clearing away the fear in your heart. You see the sun in her eyes, basking in the presence of her hands. 

You swear she is the essence of creation. How else could you change so much because of a single woman? With every press of her lips and stroke of her hand, the fear melts and is replaced by joy. What kind of bliss is this?

You don't know, and doubt you ever will–but you're more than happy to accept it. You want to be made new in her. You want your holy shackles broken beyond repair. You want to know the real you. Has heaven ever been so easy to touch? Perhaps it always had been, and you were simply looking in the wrong places.

Watching and Dreaming Spoilers

If you don't give a shit just scroll, I don't mind, but I really just need to vent cause I don't know anyone that watch toh and I need to vent somewhere. It defenetly going to be a mess to read.

I literally just finished watching the last episode and I've been crying the entire time. This show is just so amazing.

I love how Rain was so much stronger than what people give them credit for. Like they were a coven head and sure most of the time they're dorky and cute but they're also so powerful. They literally resist against Belos' control and got him out of their body AND SURVIVE (Flapjack could never... I'M SORRY FOR THAT IT WAS TOO TEMPTING).

Also I'm so glad I was right about the person we see in the world in between, in the 2nd episode, being King's dad. A'd the little worm thingy looking like Hooty hot me lol. Imagine it's someone from Hooty's family.

The collector was so cute and innocent like poor kid just wanted a friend! And the fact that he didn't know that people could DIE because of his games!!!!

Which bring me to Luz's "death". YOU CAN'T SCARE PEOPLE LIKE THAT!!! AND THEN, BECAUSE APPARENTLY THAT WAS NOT TRAUMATIZING ENOUGH, THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO MAKE DOLL CAMILLA CRY!???? LIKE SHE FUCKING KNEW HER DAUGHTER WAS GONE EVEN IN THAT STATE!!!!! IN WHAT WORLD DOES THAT SOUND LIKE A GOOD IDEA IN A KID SHOW????

I can't believe that it's really over. The all thing was so good. From the very first episode to the last one, it was amazing. I just really don't want it to be the end.

If you read that far, sorry for the rambling lol. There is probably more to say that I forgot but now I just feel so empty. Like what am I suppose to do now? I know it's not the end of the world and there will be plenty of great show I can watch but it was so good and it's the end. We're never going to see them again. Sure there's always fanfics and fanarts but it not the same. I just wish it had lasted longer...

do you have any headcanons about gender-swappee versions of patho characters? my take is that. they shouldn't look too different at all and it pisses me off actually when someone draws fem!burakh or dankovskaya as traditionally feminine.... like don't they understand. they'd just be butches

i don't have much headcanons about thos thangs because i don't think about them really but like all things i don't have many headcanons about i can probably find some on the spot... i'm going to speak more generally (also bc i feel like gender-swapped or whatever you want to call it was more prominent when i was like. 14 on deviantart so the memories are Fuzzy)

for one i agree with you. i sooo do. i Understand why some would want to indulge in giving female characters conceptualized from men in canon more women's clothing since i gueeess there's in that the desire to toy with like design and clothes etc but also... in general... i feel like if you take a male character with practical clothing and when you conceptualize him as woman you make the outfit less practical/more ornamental in ways that'd impede movement (esp. if the character is a fighter/warrior/does physical labor) it's like. well i find it quite boring, quite indeed. it's also taking away from the characterization To Me. it's an Issue with clothing itself, because women's clothing Is, By Design, less practical, generally constructed to impede movement, more ornamental (comes from the fact that women are """supposed""" to be ornamented and Pretty To Look At, which trickles down into women's fashions). for burakh if i were to conceptualize as Women for example I don't see why i would change the clothes. l don't see why i'd give a dress or skirt when pants are frankly less of a hassle to escape pursuers and hop fences in. ykwim.

this is more general (bc as i've said, i haven't really thot about gender-swappin since i was like 14 on deviantart) but anotha thing is I Don't See why a female character as-conceptualized-from-a-male-one would have a... different personality. that's a thing i remember being prevalent back then. if we take patho, whamen!Peter would still be moppy and soppy and a depressed miserable alcolohic with murderous tendencies. her sister would still be an aggressive blunt belligerent asshole who challenges other women to killing competitions. and does kill. god forbid women do anything etc. ykwim. there's also no reason they'd be less muscular or have particularly longer hair... but i guess the long hair to me is less Gratuitous than impractical clothing on a character who values practicality.

anotha thing that i mostly remember from Back Then is like. you look SILLY is you give a female character huge bongas bazoonkas when the male character you've swapped her from would have an average size penis at best. BEHAVE. etc

Someone asked me what superpowers could women have? Like not supernatural stuff but plain default whamen!

and for a bit I blank (i was drawing and when i was addressed its like waking from a trance) and to avoid my worst pet peeve in convos (silenceee), i just effin blurt that

"Im kinda non-binary (atm)"

What i wanted to answer was something about empathy and how women express more and use it to better connect, while also capable of manipulating it to burn bridges to hell n back.
