Happy Monday! The start of a new week can be hectic but just remember it's your chance to be great! This past few weeks for me have been a lesson in gratitude. *** I started a new job for the first time in over a decade after feeling like all of my hard work in my last position was leading me no where. I had to decide if stepping out of my comfort zone was worth it to potentially live the life I want. That joy of something new was threatened when my health took a small turn making me wonder if this was a sign that I was moving in the wrong direction. I prayed, questioned, and worried that maybe I was making a mistake. *** Then I realized change isn't supposed to be comfortable. It isn't supposed to be simple. Real change sometimes feels wrong, too fast, confusing, and frustrating but as time passed in my new environment, a peace fell over me and my spirit calmed down allowing me to really embrace my new position in life. *** Doors opened for me to return to school when I have spent so long fighting my way back after illness pushed furthering my education out of my life. Again fear, and doubt tried to creep in but I know that God gives his hardest battles to his strongest children and he built me to last! *** Throw in building a new business, building my blogging brand, and keeping up with treatments and my plate is spilling over but this is the life I dreamed of. The blessings I prayed for, and the chance to live my dream I promised myself I wouldn't waste if I got the opportunity so I am diving in with both feet! *** My trials and tribulations will be my ultimate testimony and I am blessed to have a support system of family, friends and all of you. Yay! Passed both my objective assessment and performance assessment for Advanced Auditing for @westerngovernorsu @wgumo I had to create an audit plan for my performance assessment and it was a fun paper to write. Definitely happy I've had the experience of working as an auditor the past several months as it made my first 2 classes way more fun, enjoyable, and easier to comprehend all the topics covered. Passed Cost and Managerial Accounting in 1 week! Term 2 at @westerngovernorsu @wgumo is officially over on Tuesday and I'm so proud of what I accomplished! 24 classes (73 credits) completed in 6 months. I spent 348 hours this term working on classes with an average of 62 hours each month, 85 hours just this month. My program mentor said I'm the top accelerator she's had during her 7ish years working at wgu, with then next highest being 67 credits in one term. Currently I have a total of 4 excellence awards that I've received. I have 5 classes left until I graduate!
