With Jade's release I decided to update my personal tier list-
Jade is an easy favorite, her playstyle matches what I like, maybe a bit more on the DPS side unlike Citrine/Nezha (my go-to favs), but hey Dante is there as well-
Also I shuffled some frames around and added a new tier:
Chroma, Valkyr and Mirage got put in the new tier since they're "old loves" I played mid game but have phased out for other frames.
Shuffled some out of the "like" into "know how to play" category - these two are similar on account that if I like how a frame plays, I am more likely to invest (duh), but there are some frames I can pick but I would do that only if I was "forced" to aka EDA (this was prompted by me trying Dagath, realizing she's good but not really Feeling her playstyle in the fun department).
Also I moved some down to the "no strong opinion"/"don't play much" from "know how to play" because it's been too long and I've forgotten lol, I would probably fumble Voruna if I tried her now. That said, that is the secondary feature of the "know how to play" tier - a frame can slide down into "don't play as much" if I feel like I haven't touched the build in a while and it might be outdated in regards to newer content.
*cries in putting 8 forma in frames trying to update their builds*
Ps. "You aren't allowed to have multiple favorites! Pick a main RIGHT NYEOW!" NOOOOOOOO I legit can't choose between Nezha and Citrine. Gun to my head I will choose Nezha because I've had him for longer and he carried me through early/mid game and I farmed his prime day one in like 2 hours and then rushed him. <3 Love my silly slidey boy.

ok here is my personal slenderverse character tier list. this just goes by how much i like the character personally, though some are affected by writing
the characters in "i want to like them more, but..." are characters who i do like, but not as much because of writing. in noah's case i basically rewrote him, so i'm not a huge fan of his canon interpretation / portrayal and in this case it does kind of affect my love for him in general? idk
the top tier characters are basically the ones who i like so much that i practically turned them into OCs with their own backstory and shit. is a lot of this because of them not being written the best? yes. are they top tier specifically because i've put so much time into them that i'm insane now? also yes
patrick's a little lower than michael purely because i don't know... anything about him??? we don't know his morals or goals or anything like that and it made him really confusing. i absolutely love him but a lot of it is fanon </3
lee and mo are only kinda low because i haven't seen WF in years so i don't remember them very well compared to sean and lexx
aaaand this is also where i have to admit i've never ever seen darkharvest00 nor have i read the MH comics. oops. i swear i will when i finish hollowhemlocks
also this tierlist maker had NO roger NO jesse NO adam NO linnie 0/10 i added them MYSELF

i was contemplating how i should put my Grand WF Manifesto together (some kind of writeup(s) about my interpretations for various stuff about them) but i dont know where to start because... the biggest thing probably is that i would want to talk about their dynamics with one another (going both directions) and uhhhhhh right now im at Here in terms of how much i can say about individual dynamics so far
thats where im at currently. its not bad but the pairs listed in the bottom tier are like... im not sure what to do yet. kazamis ships notably have the shorter end of the stick because im generally not confident in what i want to do with her. yes this is how it Goes for splatbands but the other four are like... its a VERY small amount of info but i still have a pretty good idea of where their character might come from. kazami has JUST enough of a lack of info that shes too vague for me to speak on. i have ideas about her but itll take some more ruminating to finalize it

Okay so right off the bat we have a blatant lie people can fact check immediately in my own reblog where I explicitly state Salem's PEOPLE not Salem herself. But even so members of CWBY sure seem to think even Salem is less evil then James.
This tier list was made by Arrryn Torche who was an animator for RT who said that they made this list based off of "Inside Knowledge" note how Salem is significantly higher then James here. The post is still on X. Fans also discuss how Salem MUST be redeemed while James cannot be redeemed, that thought process says that Salem is less evil then James because she can be redeemed while he cannot.
Regardless, your examples don't prove the writing isn't racist or ableist. And the declaration that "Actually the show said it was his semblance which is literally a disability made him evil" is not the serve you seem to think it is. Also the writers explicitly state that James losing his arm was a sign of him losing his humanity. So that is ableist. And no, Yang's writing isn't much better given she calls her Prosthetic extra and official art regularly just straight up forgets she even has a prosthetic.
In a previous instance they didn't even bother to ever fix said art. But pretending Yang's writing wasn't ableist for two seconds here, that doesn't magically make James's writing not ableist, and with CRWBY's comments like telling James to rest in pieces, if an arc wasn't somehow ableist that would be an accident vs the ableist writing being an accident. Let's not forget Pietro and Maria also just, got forgotten by the narrative who are both also disabled.
Again, Adams writing is still racist along with the WF, Adam is the face of the White Fang, he's called out in character shorts where he was defending himself and his people from being killed when all they did was pass through a village, the humans in the scene explicitly say they passed though the wrong town as they fired weapons at them with the intent to kill. And again, he is portrayed as turning into a terrorist because he started off being desperate to make things better for the faunus. Blake explicitly states that peaceful protesting wasn't working which is why the WF turned to violence. So again, racist.
I did not accuse OP of not accepting criticism I said the FNDM at large doesn't. Big difference and that's the second blatant lie you've said. You seem to conveniently be just misreading my words and forgetting major things that happened in the show and whee said by the writers. And once again, employee's treatment is apart of the discussion of criticism, people criticize the company and the writing all the time they are not separate.
At the end of the day though you are refusing to listen to my points and this is turning into a waste of time.
Honestly I don’t get RWBY hate.
This is coming from someone who believes seeing people’s different opinions and perspectives on media and exercising different viewpoints can be healthy.
This is coming from someone who believes disliking a show isn’t a personal attack.
This is coming from someone who’s very critical about a lot of media!
But hear me out. So many people are so vocal and downright hostile about hating RWBY, and it DOES discourage people, fans and creators alike. Perhaps if you hate RWBY that much, it simply isn’t for you and you should just move on or ignore it.
I understand being critical. I’m critical of the show too at times, but it started out as a passion project. You can’t dictate the way someone chooses to make a story. Everyone is all like “tell your story, no matter how crappy, someone out there will always love it” until it’s RWBY.
For example, I might not like Dungeon Meshi much (I have abysmal taste, ik) but I simply accept it isn’t for me, I don’t go publicly nitpicking the writing decisions even though it isn’t written in a way I personally enjoy. I don’t call it trash.
Even if there are fundamentally flawed parts of RWBY, that’s the way the authors wanted things. It it a crime for something to be flawed?
Cringe culture is dead anyway.
Never understood hostile hate for “bad” media in general.

Legendary Units that need changes or buffs. (My personal thoughts.)
(This is not a which Legendary needs a nerf post.)
Hazel Rainart
HP is still too low and doesn't compensate the high aura costs for him.
- Another HP buff is very much needed on Hazel.
Raven Branwen
HP is too low for her survivability.
- HP Buff is needed for Raven to actually do something other than just teleport people.
Freezerburn
Deploy Time is the most time consuming out of all legendaries.
- Decrease Deploy Time from 1.5 seconds to 1 second.
HP is considerably low for survivability
- HP Buff is preferred so Weiss can live a little longer post skill usage.
Adam
HP is too low and doesn’t compensate the aura costs for him.
- HP Buff would be appreciated and increases his survivability but….
Area Damage is too weak.
- A 15-20% increase in his sweeping attack. This would help Adam going up against his own men and being able to take them out easier. (Also so I don’t have to see the horrible sight of a LEVEL THREE Adam not being able to take out Level 10 WF Gunners in a single swoop ever again.)
Additional Thoughts: Adam is currently the lowest ranked legendary on the tier list for very good reason because of how weak he is because of his nerfs. If I had to pick one of these two possible buffs for him, I would most definitely go with Area Damage being buffed as Adam desperately needs his strength back rather than HP. He WAS great at crowd controlling and pushes, and with the additions of Freezerburn, Winter, Atlesian Gunship, and buffs to many other aerial units that can easily counter Adam. He needs a buff desperately because he most certainly lacks the strength and survivability of a Legendary card.
Checkmate
Their skill takes too much time to use and can be confusing.
Additional Thoughts: Checkmate contains the concept of “Looks good on paper, but poorly executed in reality”. Checkmate’s skill is one of the longest skills I have ever seen in this game and Blake can easily die while in the middle of it before Weiss has a chance to cast the invincibility onto Blake. The backflips while stylish and have calls back to the show is time-consuming and Blake is usually seen standing still hitting the air rather than enemies. The reason why it’s currently unranked on the tier list is because of how unplayable the card itself is and needs more testing. This Legendary needs adjusts to make some stand in the competitive field.

Warframe Quest tier list
Explanations of ratings under the cut:
Great: Quests that hooked me conceptually and are the core of how I view the game/my own characters and worldbuilding
Sacrifice - This quest is worth the hype. That's it. Even though I have gripes with Umbra from a fandom perspective, I love the lore of the Warframes a lot.
Glast Gambit - personal sentimental favorite, this is purely my own bias. I think it's a really good early example of a fun character interaction (Nef and Ergo, toxic old man yaoi LONG before WITW; they are divorced, the worm in my brain told me so) and also an interesting way to show the "choice" system via a moral dilemma (Neewa's fate).
Whispers in the Wall also goes into the "Great" tier, great quest, great characters, great setup for the next era of Warframe and imo a culmination of all the ups and downs that Warframe has been through the years and that ended up in a truly great narrative experience.
Good: Quests I liked but that missed a certain "oomph"
Duviri Paradox - I love Duviri as a place and the mythology around it, but I expected something different from the quest itself. Certain story beats didn't land because I did not feel the emotional connection the game expected me to (coughcoughTeshin'sfakeoutdeathcoughcough). Also didn't like Drifter being a snarky ass in a Marvel-esque way. I'm too used to RPGs and MMOs so when a game forces a characterization on my character I get really antsy if it's something she would not say.
Deadlock Protocol - I LOVE the Corpus so any Corpus content gets instant bias bonus points. Introduction of a very solid villain, Nef bullying. It has it all. This quest could also go in "great" but I think the narrative itself isn't compelling and earth-shattering enough to warrant that.
Waverider - hot take alert! Corpus bias once again, Nef being humbled is always a plus. The k-drive was annoying but I got gud and finished the quest, it was entertaining.
Vox Solaris - good introduction to the Solaris faction but I feel the conflict was solved way too quickly, but I also wasn't around for the release, the ARG and the introduction of the Orb Mothers. Still, I think Nef and the Solaris' conflict could be made into a cinematic three-parter on its own. Oh well, that's what fanfiction is for. (Ps. Nightwave Season 3 had a forgettable side character, Cutter, who touched upon a subject I wish the Solaris plotline explored more)
Call of the Tempestarii - I almost want to put it in "wasted potential" only because I wish Vala had more of a prominent role. Sighs. I love Corpus, I love evil women, I got an evil Corpus woman. Please give me more evil Corpus women.
Chains of Harrow - overall good quest. Rell's story is heart-wrenching. I still headcanon that "Margulis cast him out" is Red Veil propaganda and Rell got separated from the rest of the Tenno in other ways and was brainwashed to believe he was cast out completely.
Second Dream - I knew the Operator existed before I played this quest so I didn't have the HOLY SHIT WHAT!!! reaction, but I think this is a good quest and I understand why people guard the Operator secret even though I think it hurts the narrative of Warframe overall. Oh Well.
New War - To me it's like a Marvel movie, a huge spectacle. It was fun in the way a popcorn movie is fun. It was more fun gameplay wise than story-wise, though I enjoyed the Void/Wally/Zariman lore the most (it's my second favorite thing after Corpus stuff).
Okay - these are quests which either didn't particularly speak to me, or I just have completely forgotten. All the early quests fall into "forgotten" category and things post War Within are more on the "okay" side.
Wasted potential - Silver Grove. My joy, my pain. I WISH this wasn't an ancient quest and the post-quest moral actually applied to New Loka. I think as a concept New Loka are very interesting, but poorly executed, so now they're just "lol ecofascists/plant nazis" so I can't even get people to engage with them on a serious level. Forever seething and malding
Disappointment of the century - Angels of the Zariman. I was there, I participated in the ARG to the best of my ability, I read the logs, I changed my blog title to "Abyssus accipit et Abyssus dat" because I liked it that much. Then I got a 30 minute tutorial quest with a bunch of NPCs I don't care about and my Operator had zero emotional reaction TO RETURNING TO THE PLACE WHERE IT ALL FUCKING BEGAN AND THEY KILLED THEIR PARENTS AND LOST EVERYTHING THEY EVER HELD DEAR JESUS FUCK WHY WHY WHY
anyways
I warmed up to the Holdfasts and Yonta is cute so I have forgiven her crimes. Also this was during an era where I was constantly miffed at DE adding new characters instead of building on old ones.
So yeah, that's that.
tl;dr - I have a bias towards lore regarding the Warframes themselves, Corpus and anything regarding the Void/Tenno. Also I have shit memory.

@theultimatepumpkinpie
I started with Viri's frames so Saryn got skipped accidentally, but it's ok we can always catch up- x)
Nyx nemesis: B tier, she has the heels but it's an asymmetrical look and being heel-heavy makes for a less pleasant stepping experience
Saryn: A tier, just like Garuda she has a nice high-heeled look for measured stepping. Bonus content - Ordis kinkshaming me.
i need to go to bed before i make a warframe tier list based on how good they are at stepping on someone
#shitpost#wf stepping tier list#i guess#also just a note that im taking the fashion/loadout i have on hand lmao#so some are primes#some are tennogen (i guess that counts as default look)#and some are deluxes#its part of the joke ig

Thank you random commenter on a WF tier list for pointing out that Garuda's three is a status cleanse. Honestly she is so good at surviving in general, I like her a lot when it comes to the melee focused frames.
I replaced Garuda's heal ability with gloom so I have some mobility and cc when fighting and can spam three without worrying about dying too soon. Also gave her an archon shard with health regen, it's not much but still.
#also obv her passive which is a damage buff#and using her talons is fun#the melee focused frames are fun in general#valkyr is in my top 5 used frames and i got her prime early on hehe#voruna is also fun#the perfect frames for just killin things#wf tag
