Summary → For the first time you're nesting in Peter's room.

You let out a soft sigh of contentment as you finally finished arranging your nest. The mountain of blankets, pillows, and soft clothes was piled high, smelling exactly like Peter. His scent wrapped around you, filling the air with warmth and security. You nestled into the middle of the makeshift bed, hugging one of Peter’s worn shirts close to your chest.

May had been more than understanding when you knocked on the door earlier, cheeks flushed, and quietly asked if you could stay over for the afternoon.

“I’m nesting,” you had whispered, feeling shy.

Her eyes softened instantly. “Of course, sweetie. Come right in. Peter should be home after school. You know where his room is.”

You were grateful for how much she understood. After settling into Peter’s room, you had spent hours gathering every piece of soft fabric and clothing that reminded you of him. His bed was at the center of it all, now buried under the layers of warmth you’d created. You felt at ease here, knowing this was your space, your safe little corner of the world while you nested.

The door of the apartment clicked open, the familiar sound of Peter arriving home. Your heart sped up, already feeling the connection between you and him grow stronger. Your Alpha was home.

You stayed curled up in the middle of your nest, listening as Peter called out to his aunt.

“Hey, May! I’m home!”

“Peter, your Omega is your room,” May called back from the kitchen.

There was a pause, and you could practically hear the confusion in Peter’s voice when he answered. “Wait, Y/n’s here?”

“She’s nesting,” May added softly, “in your room.”

Another pause.

“Oh.”

You smiled to yourself, feeling a small wave of nervousness. You hadn’t seen Peter all day, and now that he was about to walk into his room and find you nestled in his scent, your stomach flipped with excitement.

You could hear his soft footsteps approaching up the stairs, then the door creaked open. Peter stepped into the room, and the moment his eyes landed on you, a slow smile spread across his face.

“Hey,” he said, voice soft, as though he were afraid to disturb your nest.

You sat up slightly, arms still wrapped around his hoodie. “Hi, Peter.”

He looked at the mountain of blankets and clothes around you, his eyes shining with curiosity. “Are… are those my clothes?”

You flushed but nodded. “Yeah. I hope it’s okay. I just—your scent—it’s comforting.”

Peter’s smile widened, and he stepped further into the room, letting the door close behind him. “Of course, it’s okay. I didn’t expect to find you nesting here, though. You usually like doing it at home.”

You shrugged, biting your lip. “I just wanted to be closer to you this time. I don’t know. It feels right, like… I need you more.”

Peter looked at you with an affectionate glint in his eyes, his heart clearly melting at your words. “You don’t have to explain,” he said, moving closer to the edge of your nest. “I’m just glad you feel comfortable enough to nest here. Do you want me to… I don’t know, help with anything? Or should I leave you alone?”

You shook your head quickly. “No, stay. Please.”

Peter didn’t need to be asked twice. He kicked off his shoes and moved to sit on the edge of the bed, careful not to disturb the nest too much. You scooted over, making space for him in the middle of the blankets.

“How was school?” You asked, trying to keep the conversation light even though your heart was thudding in your chest from how close he was.

Peter chuckled, scratching the back of his neck. “Same as always. Missed you, though. I kept thinking about you. I didn’t expect to come home and find you like this, but it’s a nice surprise.”

His gaze lingered on the nest you had built, and you could tell he was both fascinated and touched. It wasn’t often that you let him near your nest, but something about today felt different. You wanted him close, wanted his scent to surround you even more now that he was here.

“Can I…?” Peter gestured to your side, indicating if he could join you fully in the nest.

Your heart swelled with affection. You shifted slightly, giving him room, and he slid in beside you, his arm wrapping protectively around your waist as soon as he settled in. His warmth immediately soothed your nerves, and you leaned into his chest, sighing with contentment.

“This is nice,” Peter murmured, his chin resting on top of your head.

You nodded, closing your eyes as you soaked in his presence. “I feel safe with you here.”

His hand moved to stroke your arm gently. “I’ll always keep you safe.”

For a while, the two of you just stayed like that, wrapped up in the nest you had made, neither of you speaking. Peter’s scent filled the air even more now that he was close, his Alpha instincts kicking in as he pulled you closer, his protective side taking over.

“I wish I could stay here with you forever,” Peter said softly, breaking the comfortable silence. “Forget about school, patrol, and everything else. Just… stay with you.”

You smiled against his chest, your hand resting over his heart. “We’ll have plenty of time for that. But I do like the idea of you staying here with me.”

Peter let out a soft laugh. “You’d get sick of me after a while.”

“Never,” you replied immediately, your voice firm. “You’re my Alpha.”

His grip tightened around you, and he buried his nose in your hair, breathing in your scent. “And you’re my Omega.”

The way he said it made your heart flutter, and you could feel the bond between you two strengthening. It wasn’t just the physical closeness, but the emotional connection that made moments like this so precious.

Peter nuzzled the side of your neck, his lips brushing against your scent gland, sending a wave of warmth through you. “Your scent is so sweet,” he whispered.

Your cheeks flushed. “Peter…”

“I’m serious,” he said, his voice soft but insistent. “I love how you smell. It’s so calming, like home.”

You turned your head slightly to meet his gaze. His brown eyes were full of warmth and affection, and for a moment, the world outside didn’t exist. It was just the two of you, wrapped up in each other.

“Do you want to stay with me tonight?” You asked, your voice barely above a whisper.

Peter’s eyes widened slightly in surprise. “Are you sure?”

You nodded, feeling shy but determined. “I want you close. Please?”

Peter didn’t hesitate. “I’d love to.”

He shifted slightly, making himself more comfortable in your nest, pulling you closer until you were practically lying on top of him. You could feel his heartbeat under your hand, steady and reassuring.

“I’m not going anywhere,” Peter whispered, pressing a kiss to your forehead. “I’ll stay with you for as long as you need me.”

You smiled, feeling completely at peace in his arms. “Thank you, Peter.”

“Anything for you,” he replied, his voice soft and full of love.

And as the evening drew on, you found yourself drifting off in his arms, feeling safe, protected, and loved, knowing that your Alpha was right there with you.

Some of the prosthetic makeup sculpts devised by Richard Edlund's Boss Film Studios for Stephen Geoffreys, Amanda Bearse and Chris Sarandon in Fright Night (1985).

Effects artist Steve Johnson wished for the prosthetic makeup on Goeffreys as Evil Ed to be 'a little Quasimodo', uneven and lumpy. Johnson had always been bugged by how 'symmetrical' the American Werewolf in London and Howling transformations were, and wanted to do his own spin.

Chris Sarandon had three stages of makeup applied to him to represent his monstrous states; Steve Neill was assigned to do the makeup, but was persuaded by an eager Randall William Cook into letting him do the final (and most monstrous) makeup stage.

Amanda Bearse's 'shark mouth' mask was a last minute job requested by Tom Holland; Randy Cook sculpted a simple latex mask for Bearse to wear, believing that it would only be used for one brief shot. He was embarrassed when it turned out it didn't just get used for several shots, but became the most iconic image of the film!

Besides Werewolf by Night and the characters presented in the show, who else would you be interested in seeing MK system meet up with? Any other MCU characters?

So…. Of course I want him to meet up with Jack Russel. They could be BFF.

Who do I want the MK system to meet up with otherwise?

If we're talking already established MCU characters:

Dare Devil - They have such a complicated relationship. And there's so much room for shenanigans and silly situations. Angsty Catholic Boy meets Angsty Jewish boy is always an A+++ in my book.

Not to mention Highly Observant Steven catching on right away that the blind man has more going on than it seems.

FRANK CASTLE - Oh man. Jon Bernthal and Oscar Isaac on the same screen? I don't think I'd survive. Marc and Frank talking war crimes shop? Family trauma? Vengeance???

Not to mention the whole issue with Khonshu in the comics being jealous of Frank and trying to get Marc to be more like Frank.

Circling around to bigger MCU lines….

See, I want Mk to interact with Spider-Man, but not Tom Holland Spider-Man.

MK and Spider-Man have always had a nice relationship, but it's an older Spider-Man, not a little wide eyed naive kid Spider-Man. He needs to be snappy and witty and on his game Spider-Man. Like almost Andrew Garfield Spider-Man but not quite. He has to fill in the silence from the non-communicative Moon Knight side of things.

DeadPool. Almost. That's a rough one because Moon Knight at full angry vengeance mode plays so well with Deadpool. But that's more comics MK and not quiet MCU MK if that makes sense? (Though Steven might hold up with his snark).

The Hulk has potential. But I also don't see any of them getting along with Bruce well enough.

Bro-Thor might be a wholesome interaction. I could see emotional kind Thor making friends with Steven easily. Not to mention Steven could geek out about mythology to him.

I don't think Ironman would work well. Honestly, Moon Knight and Ironman have never gone well together in my books.

Captain America in THEORY has always been a nice one for quick interactions. (Steven Grant may or maynot be a fictive of Steven Grant Rogers, but that's a differnet story from the comics), but Captain America and Marc have never gotten along at all.

It's hard to imagine Marc (marc in particular) mingling with the other MCU characters because they have all been done as quick witted chatty guys with egos and Marc in MCU is so socially awkward.

Put him and Bucky in a room and you just got two silent broody men standing on opposite sides of the room with Bucky staring intently and Marc not picking up social cues and doing his best to maintain eye contact till one of them breaks. You would need Steven or another outside force to bridge the gap and try to connect, but then you have Marc being overly protective of Steven and fighting his overall impulse to not let anyone know about his mental health issues and forcing front to keep Steven out of it.

But this takes me back around to characters that are already soft, quiet, friendly, and who also suffer from misunderstandings and issues: Jack Russel. The ultimate friend and buddy to MK system. With his sweet smile and desire to please and make people happy. He'd be soft with Steven, chatty for Marc (to cover so Marc doesn't have to talk), and a great Spanish drinking pal with Jake.

And Ted. I think Ted would love Steven.

Elsa Bloodstone? She's already met one man with a dual side and complicated story. She'd take one look at Marc and heavily sigh and accept that she seems to just attract problems.

NOW: Who do I want to see them interact with that are NOT already in the MCU?

Task Master. Hear me out - He's a villain that can make the rounds in ALL MCU shows/movies. He has a photographic memory and can instantly learn and mimic any fighting style. And in the comics, he loathes the day that he learned Moon Knight's style and wishes he could forget it.

The Sentry. If they could introduce the Sentry and get him RIGHT I'd be so happy. He is the direct opposite of Moon Knight on so many levels.

I'm trying not to ramble here because I could go on and on about why I think some characters would and would not team up well with MCU MK....

But let me pose this to you, which was not part of your original question:

WHAT ABOUT LAYLA?

Can you imagine protective Layla with MK meeting up with the MCU cast? I want to see her character evolve and I imagine she's latched onto Steven and taken up Marc's position of "This delightful piece of marshmallow fluff must be protected at all cost".

I think if anyone tried to give them trouble or pointed out the issue of Marc and Steven switching in front of them she'd be in their face so fast.

"What's that? You can't trust him because he's too unpredictable? How about I unpredictable your face?" That girl is a spit fire.

But I think she and Elsa would get along well.

Anyways, I have a wish list but I also have anxieties depending on the writer. Historically Moon Knight has not done well in groups and tends to get labeled "that schitzo lunatic" that just stands in the background a lot. Which would be a shame to do to Oscar Isaac and doubtful that they would be able to do to him. But so many MCU characters have been written With intense egos...

Who do you want to see them interact with? Anyone I forgot? Anyone that you think would actually be able to make friends with them?

Currently my obsession is on Monster mashups involving the classic styles of monsters. i.e. Dracula, Frankenstein, Mummy and werewolf (Not necessarily Wolfman). Oh, and Danny Elfman music. So I'm paying a lot of attention to the new Universal Studios Dark Universe park expansion. these kiddos are coming out of retirement from a plot centered around college aged witches, and i would love to get some more things for them. their info and some wcs/plots are under the cut (:

willow adler (thomas doherty fc): fire element aligned witch, couldn't control his powers at a young age and ended up setting his house on fire. his brother and father survived, sisters perished, and mother was disfigured and found a way to hurt willow through it all since she blamed him. parents in debt from dad's gambling and witch activity. he's studying reconstructive surgery and is known for kitchen-sinking and throwing-the-baby-with-the-bath-water. kinky af, just sayin. plots: brother rivalry because willow is responsible for their parents death (he had a twin who could be opposite element, or similar element), someone who is his mother's caretaker and gets involved in the witch drama, witchy college students vague af but yeah

jayne keller (timothee chalamet fc): water aligned witch, sick sob. belongs to a coven that binded themselves but he just joined to suck up their power, bribed them to bind because he's the only bitch with a grimoire/spell book so he's in control even if it acts like he's dumb. he's probably much more out of his element than he thinks. he doesn't know what to do with the emotional connection that comes from all of them binding themselves together, let alone simply having actual friends with real similar interests. plots: another "chaotic evil" character that being emotionally linked to fucks them up and they have to navigate it together, or a good/bad boy trope of the good aligned emotions influencing his own and making his stray from his original plans with the coven, someone who knows hes up to no good, mostly coven plots tbh

dracula (thomas doherty fc): that's it, that's the plot. y'all know him. plots: him and a hunter, him and one of the vamps he's turned catching up after a cagey end of their relationship, etc.

arden bishop (david corenswet for young fc, adam brody fc for older): werewolf that is head of a biker gang after his grandfather finally died and he took over. hated the wolf curse and looked to modern science and spells to reverse it, dabbling in dark and kinky magic to try and fix it. now drowns most of his werewolf-esque senses in alcohol and reminisces all the people he's lost. has tested trials to get rid of curse on other people. plots: crime aligned plots, hunters who he works with bc he's trying to eradicate wolves to an extent, witches he deals to in order to surpress his own werewolf curse during a full moon, people in the pack.

constantine costello (tom holland fc): he is the little brother to a character who was turned, and he's stuck with a baby and the mother died or abandoned him with them. he has little control over his own werewolf curse but it hasn't been fully activated yet. he has ocd and a lot of his obsessions come from trying to tame his curse. brother has become responsible for the child in the mean time, and they're running to keep them both alive. plots: the brother, the mother showing up out of no where, humans unsuspecting in the town they're in, someone pressuring them to join a pack.

Asa was in a mental institution in London in the late 1800's. With no friends and put through unimaginable trauma, there was one man who he kept up correspondence with the entire time. Maybe originally through a church that sends letters to "those less fortunate", or someone Asa knew before he was sent away by his father, who kept up writing to him. This person was also turned by something - he could be a werewolf or a vampire or a witch who elongated his life. One of Asa's longest, and only friends, and probably his first crush. Now they're both weird lil supernatural creatures in Port Leiry. What're the odds?
