Having some deep thoughts about Werewolf!Omega!Reader who came from a rough family.

They didn’t really care about her leaving her to her own devices. They lived out in the woods and for most of Readers life all she did was stay inside or play in the woods, but she wasn’t allowed to go out at night. She was never told why but was constantly snapped at to not ask questions. There where multiple strangers or people she would call “aunt or uncle” that would come by her house but they where not her actual kin. Something she once again never tried to ask about.

As time goes by and she gets older her family starts to slowly disappear. Aunts and uncles no longer visit as much, her really family starts to vanish as well. Things take a turn when one of her older siblings doesn’t come home one night late into the spring.

She crys for days after she realizes something extremely bad has happened, they are not coming back. She here’s her partners talking and her mother crying.

“He/she is dead….I know it.”

“Everyone is, it’s only us now..”

The following month after her 18th birthday she comes home to find almost her whole room packed up. The rest of the house is fine, nothing else is touched nothing out of place by even a inch.

But no one is home.

She looks around and even calls out for her parents and siblings only to her only her own voice a ehco around the walls. Running outside she finds no sign of anyone so she goes back into the house. She quietly goes into her parents room, the room for the most part is extremely the same but the draws are open and empty and the closets bare. Her eyes search the room for any kind of clue as to what is going on. Finally her eyes land on a small piece of paper that sits on her parents bed. With a flick of the wrist she picks the paper up and flips the folded up paper open. In the simple hand writing of her father.

“Your room is packed with what you need. Take what you can and leave before it is too late. We already lost one child and the others we can not stay to see you die as well. You cannot stay here or you will be just as dead as we would if we stayed, we are giving you a head start to get out. We can only tell you the best option since you are young, go to CA, it is your best chance to find others. We regret not telling you the truth but we can at least give you advice to stay alive. Good luck-“

It was a cryptic message that sent chills though her whole body. Her whole family had just up and left their home and told her to get out. That she was in danger and needed to leave all on her own. A sicking feeling came over her whole body as she moved about the house. She grabbed what she could of her things from her room, a few things from around the house. While moving things around she found a wad of cash in a drawer and took it. It was enough to get her on a bus to California and possibly enough for food a rent.

Within the hour she was long gone from her childhood home in the woods.

On a bus to a whole different state all alone to start a new life.

Life in california was rough at first for the young women. She was in a total different state with no family or friends. But as the weeks and months pass she finally starts to settle in to her new home. She finds a nice little apartment in a nice town, she is able to find a good job with nice hours. For once in her life she feels seen and heard as she meets new people. Gaining new friends at work and around town with her free time.

For about two years that was what she did with her life and it was going great. Every day she grew to live the new town she was in and the thought of her old life was slowly fading. She missed her home, her parents and even her siblings but she knew it was best that she leave. She didn’t regret getting out when she did. There was nothing for her back home and she understood that.

It wasn’t until her twentieth birthday was about to hit when things started to change once again in her life.

Reader felt lucky to have met such nice people when first moving to california. After getting a place to live she was able to find work at a local hospital. It wasn’t anything fancy but she was able to get a job in the records department and then she was moved to the physical therapy department. That’s when she met Miguel, a nice physical therapist in training. He just so happened to be looking for a patient file for a new client that was coming in for treatment. Reader of course noticed and helped him find it before he got to lost in all of the paperwork and folders.

He was extremely embarrassed about not being able to find such a easy document. Reader brushed it off and told him that it was fine and that if he ever needed help finding anything in the records department to just come and find her. She knew the place like the back of her hand by now. That sparked a great friendship between the two. They got lunch breaks together and even hung out after work a lot. He also introduced her to a few of his other friends too.

“You know I did karate in highschool.”

It was a random comment he made one day as they where sitting in the hospital cafeteria during a lunch break.

Reader perked up as she picked at her food.

“Oh really? Physical therapist guy did a dangerous sport like karate? Um.”

“Yeah…remember when I told you about my back? Karate may have played a key in that. But it’s in the past.”

“Soooo why are you bring it up now?”

“Well I kinda wanted to know if you wanted to come with me and some of the others to go hang out at one of the lessons. My sensei still teaches and one of my friends is teaching along side him these days. Everyone wanted to go hang out but I didn’t know if you where into that kinda stuff.”

Reader thought about it for a long minute before saying “Iv never been to a karate class before it sounds interesting. Just don’t expect me to know any of your crazy karate stuff I guess.” She laughs as she shoves some of her lunch into her mouth. Miguel grins back at her.

“Don't worry I wasn't expecting you to. It's just for fun trust me, you're going to have a great time.”

The following week Reader gets the address from Miguel on where the dojo was. She pulls up to the nice little place, it's beautiful and quaint. She is just in time to pass a little group of kids walking out of the gate. They laugh and y'all at one another clearly happy about the lesson they just came from. Reader can't help but smile as she passes them, looking back to watch them all load up ain't a small van and take off. Her mind is brought back when she hears loud laughter from behind a large gate from where the kids originally came out from.

Walking up to the gate she opens it and peers around the corner to find Miguel and a blond man talking. She also takes notice of the fact that Demetri and Robby are there as well. Both are off to the side talking about something. She meet Demetri and Robby when they showed up to the hospital to collect their friend after work to go to a local bar. They all have hung out quite a few times since then.

“Reader you made it! I was scared you might have gotten lost on the way here or something.”

“Yeah sorry I'm still trying to figure out this area but your directions were fine, found the place on my first try so no harm done. Hope I wasn't keeping you guys waiting.” she says a little bit embarrassed. This was a new part of town she had yet to be to so finding her way around was still a little tricky. Luckily she was able to find her way with Miguel’s good directions.

Miguel patted her on the should before turning to the blond guy again. He was much older than them and she could only guess that this was Miguel’s sensei he had briefly talked about before.

“Reader this is Johnny Lawrence, my sensei and Robby’s dad.” he mention to the older man who is just smirking at them. Looking at him until close she could see the slight resemblance to Robby. His nose and brows and just a hint of his eyes reminded her of the dirty blond. She smiled and shook his outstretched hand, his grip was firm in hers. He let go a second later. Robby groans as he's mentioned. Johnny rolls his eyes before walking off back towards the dojo where another man comes walking out. He's a bit shorter than Johnny, tan with dark hair.

“And that is Daniel LaRusso! My other sensei.” the other man gives her a smiles before shaking hands with her. His hold is firm but just a tad bit gentler then Johnny's.

“Can we start this thing all ready I'm getting tired of waiting. I don't care if we just finished a class I want to get back to training already!” a voice came from inside the dojo. Reader looks over the means shoulders to try and get a look at who was yelling. The door to the dojo slammed open and a guy strolled out not long after.

He was taller than her by a few good inches, skin pale with only a kiss of sun to it. He was in a gi like the other men but he had the top open hanging loose. His hair was too long but it had a nice length to it, gelled up in a neat mohawk. Reader felt her face grow warm has she took a little to long to rip her eyes away from his open shirt. He had a nice set of muscles that made her all kinds of hot. Quickly she looked away and focused on the others.

Miguel laughed saying “Dont worry about him that's just Hawk.” she raised a brow at him “His real names Eli but we call him Hawk. It's his thing.” she rolled her eyes and gave a small chuckle. His name was definitely something.

(I admit that I cut this off extremely early. I have more to this idea but I didn't know if anyone was actually going to like it because I started it when I was going through writer's block and I feel like it was a bit bland. Might continue if anybody actually likes it. )

“What do you mean?” Eli looks up from patching Demetri’s wounds.

Demetri sighs. “People like us don’t get happy endings. We’re the monsters slain in the final battle so the hero can prove their worth.”

It isn’t the first time they’ve played this scene. Hiding in a hotel room, cleaning up after slayers did a number on them.

A cycle that does seem doomed to snuff them out eventually.

Nevertheless, Eli scoffs. “Why do they decide how the book ends? You know, in some stories, the villains win.”

Demetri smiles slowly.

“Yeah. Sometimes they do.”

Ohhh Shy!Werewolf!Eli you say? Hum....

He's so cute, I imagine him using Demetri as a shield all the time. Because at least Demetri is a snarky alpha. For the most part he's so shy around others that he sticks to Demetri to help fight his “battles”.

He's borderline afraid of other werewolves, mostly alphas, he's ok with omega's and betas. He doesn't smell like a alpha for the most part and he keeps his scent low. Other werewolves think he's a beta when they first meet him.

He likes humans more then other wolves but he still doesn't have many friends.

So I was thinking about the post you just made about Werewolf!Eli not knowing he is a werewolf and it made me think-

What if he only finds out he is a werewolf because he meets Chubby!Reader and it turned out she is like his “true mate” and now that he has meet her all of his werewolf traits are going crazy? Like he can smell her really good now, his strength is going crazy when he’s around her, he’s bulking up more for “some reason”, and he starts GROWING!?!?

All of a sudden he starts excelling in gym class, he's starting to develop more muscle and stamina. He's gets a big appetite but gains no weight? His senses heighten and he's sensitive to certain smells. He has no idea what's going on but he's trying to act like it's not happening. His friends all know something js up though.

He tries to hide in his clothes so no one sees his arms or his chest, except when cute, chubby Reader is around. For some reason, when she's around, he wants to tear off his sweater and show off his body to her.

When she's close by, her scent takes over his senses. He had no idea what it was at first, but one day he learned that it was her because she was so close, he was practically bathed in her sweet scent of honey and flowers. It's like walking in a dewy meadow while the sun is shining.

She'll be standing on the other side of the soccer field and he'll hear her laughing with her friends. His ears perk up when she talks or makes any noise. It's like he's hyper aware of her presence always.

All of these changes are strange to him and he doesn't know what's going on. He doesn't want to talk about it with anyone. He thinks if he ignores it for now, he can eventually figure it our or it'll go away. Unlikely, but he'd rather things go back to the way they were before.

That is until he happens upon something going down. He hears Reader pleading to be left alone and he's following her scent to find her, only to see Kyler bugging her. He has her cornered, laughing at her body and how she's "so ugly" because she's fat. It makes Eli made, a rage he's never felt before, and he pulls Kyler away from her before he thinks about it.

"Leave her alone," he huffs, stepping in front of Reader to shield her from the bully.

Kyler laughs at him. "What're you gonna do, Lip? Gonna be her stupid little hero or something? Think that'll make you some kind of hot shot? You know what, go ahead. You two will make some butt ugly babies. They'll be fat asses and have freaky-"

CRACK!

Eli's fist meets Kyler's jaw before he can finish his next insult and he falls to the floor holding his face. He coughs and spits out some blood and what looks like a tooth. He's wallowing about on the floor in pain while Eli stands over him, still angry as all Hell. He doesn't understand wholly why what he was saying struck such a nerve, but it did and what's done is done. However, his blood is still hot as it runs through him and he lets out an audible growl.

The only thing that brings him back down from his high headed anger is Reader, who simply touches his arm. Her touch is enough to calm him down and he turns to her, asking her of she's okay. He holds her arms gently, searching her for any harm Kyler might have caused her. As she explains that she's okay, it's almost as if they're the only people there. However, he's still on high alert just in case Kyler tries something stupid. His only focus is Reader and making sure she's okay.

Asdfghjkl- idk what happens after that but ahhhh I love this now

Eli hisses, shoulders tensing beneath Demetri’s hands. The taller boy stops the massage, frowning in concern.

“You okay?”

“‘m fine.” Eli sounds more annoyed than anything. “I figured I’d be sore—I just didn’t think it’d be this bad.”

“I’m sorry.” Demetri swoops down, softly kissing the bite scars on Eli’s arm. “Do you want another Tylenol?”

“I want to stop feeling so fucking pathetic. How many people are reduced to some achy, useless mess the day after every full moon?!”

“How many people grow into a gigantic wolf three times their size every full moon? Give yourself a break.”

Werewolf!Eli pt. 3

Used teen wolf as my inspiration for this, but don't trust me to use teen wolf logic in this at all. (unedited)

Reader takes a look around the arcade before she opens the restroom door. No one is paying sttention, so she slips inside. There's a short hall before reaching the stalls and she's stuck at the door.

"Eli?" she calls out softly.

When she doesn't get a response, she starts walking, but a strange noise stops her. It's a sound she knows shouldn't exist in any bathroom. She thinks it's a growl, but wants to believe her mind is playing g tricks on her.

"Eli, are you okay?"

She finds the courage to turn the corner and gasps, her heart rate sky rocketing.

Standing hunched over in the middle of the room is a vaguely human, fur covered creature. It has sharp, claw-like nails and pointed ears. As it snarls at her, she sees its fangs. Despite its hard expression and hairy face, something soft lays under the surface that doesn't make Reader run for her life.

Fur peeks out from under its clothes... the same clothes Eli greeted her in when they met up for their date...

"Eli?"

The creature lunges forward and pins her to the wall. The impact isn't very hard, but it's still enough to knock the wind out of her. It stares at her for a long time, it's piercing blue eyes enough evidence to tell her she knows who this is. She's right about who this is, but there's not recognition in his eyes.

"Eli, it's me," she pleads softly, his clawed hand holding her to the wall, palm harshly pushed into her chest. His claws poke at her skin through her top, a reminder that danger one wrong move away. "It's me, remember? Y-you remember me, don't you?"

He leans into her and begins sniffing her neck. Her entire body stiffens, not even allowing a tremble to wrack through her despite her nerves. She does her best to breath evenly, feeling the way her heart pounds against her ribcage. Silently, she begs that he remembers her before something bad happens.

The sniffing goes on for a few minutes, going down her whole body and back up again, before he pulls away and inspects her with his eyes. Then he slowly pulls his hand away from her, staring into her eyes. She's still terrified to move, but before she can even think about relaxing, he grabs her and pulls her into his chest. She lets out a small yelp, but her face is pushed into his shirt and she's enveloped in his warmth.

"Okay... so you're not going to kill me," she puzzles out. There's a moment of pause before she reaches up and pets his arm. It's strange to feel the fur, but it's soft against her fingers. "What is going on?"

Before Eli can even try to communicate an answer, a hard knock echoes through the room.

A rough, male voice shouts, "Hey! What's going on in there?"

Eli pulls Reader against him tightly, growling at the entrance of the restroom.

The man knocks again. "If you don't come outta there, I'm coming in!"

As Eli snarls in warning, Reader puts her hands on his chest and tries to push away from him, but he's much stronger than her. He looks down at her and sees the fear in her eyes, but it's not of him...

"You can't stay here. If someone sees you like this, who knows what they'll do to you," she tells him, hoping he understands the dilemma. She searches his eyes, hoping some semblance of Eli is still in there somewhere, and as he stares back at her, he seems to get it.

He looks around for a way to escape the confrontation, only finding a high window.

Reader is apprehensive as he lifts her up to it, more worried about him than herself, but he seems to think her escape is far more important. So she pushes the window open further and pokes her head out to check if anyone is around. When she determines no one else is around, she starts to climb out.

"Alright! I'm coming in! You better be decent!" the man shouts, startling her.

She falls out the window and falls a short distance, hitting the ground before she can even scream. Luckily, she catches herself instead of falling on her shoulder or back. Standing up quickly, she backs up and looks to the window. She whispers, "Hurry, Eli!"

As the door opens, Eli jumps and grabs the window's edge. He pulls himself out and falls from the window, landing on his feet loudly. Hearing the man calling for them, he picks Reader up and starts running. He's faster than any human she's ever seen and holds onto his neck tightly, hiding her face from the wind. He carries her into the shadows, escaping being found.

Reader doesn't know where he's taking her, but she at least knows she's safe with him like this.

Nonetheless, it’s a special kind of high, seeing in real time that you’ve been underestimated. Not that it’s an uncommon occurrence these days.

A choked gasp as his kama slices through another jugular, this time belonging to a young man not much older than him. Tall, sturdy, toned. Athletic. Future frat boy type. The very flavor of guy that might have bullied him and Eli at school.

Or on a college campus. Or at work. Or anywhere, really.

Now he’ll never get the chance.

Behind him, Demetri can hear teeth ripping into flesh, the tearing and pulling of skin amidst ragged snarls. More screams, because apparently humans don’t know how to do anything else in the face of death. Even seasoned beast slayers.

It’s so boring.

Still, there’s something beautiful about such tangible evidence that these people have bitten off more than they can chew. And now, as is only fitting, they’re getting bites taken out of them.

Oh, the wordplay he could do with that. Maybe another time.

Demetri wonders how Eli does it. Fighting with teeth is far too messy for his taste—no pun intended. Requires him to get much further into the enemy’s personal space than he would prefer. But Eli is a mass of fangs and claws and destruction, emanating the kind of burning, carnal rage that could tear all of humanity to shreds if it needed to.

Demetri’s the only one who can reel in The Fury of the Hawk, and he takes a great deal of pride in it.

Fighting with kamas was Eli’s idea, still reveling in the image of Demetri swinging them around at the AVT. Although if anyone told Demetri a year ago he’d be using that demonstration to fight vampire slayers, he would have laughed them out of the room. And also expressed some worry that he was going to get pitted against Buffy Summers, one of the coolest people alive.

That hasn’t been an issue so far.

Being an unholy supernatural monster isn’t without its dangers. Luckily, Demetri and Eli are fully prepared to face whatever gut-wrenching horrors the future may hold--together.

Send me a potential AU and I’ll tell you five fun facts that would happen in a story

oooooh i'm not super into zombie stuff, so i'll do my best here but...

there's still the whole divide amongst the townspeople of hope county and the project at eden's gate. joseph claims that the zombie plague is a sign of the end times and only his followers will survive society's inevitable collapse. meanwhile the people of hope county are just trying to get by, but that ideological divide is enough to make it so they're competing for the same resources, all while trying to stave off zombies the entire time.

i think i'd set this up as syb being an enforcer/peacekeeper in her little community (ie, she's breaking up fights and helping resolve any disputes that arise) and her brother is a hunter/forager who knows the terrain and local flora/fauna enough to find food. but one day he doesn't return home and syb is determined to find him. with eli (another hunter/forager) as her guide, of course <3

shit goes down that leads to the two of them being captured by jacob and they're taken back to the project where they're hiding syb's brother. only, because augustine was sympathetic to the project, he's allowed to do the "easy" chores, cooking and cleaning, and generally being accepted into the cult, while syb and eli are handed over to jacob and conscripted into doing hard physical labor and other dangerous jobs (like clearing out zombie nests).

now. i can see things going two different ways from there. first is that something really bad happens that involves syb, eli, and jacob all ending up stranded together and they have to rely on each other to survive (ot3 good ending <3)

OR, jacob takes an interest in syb and wants to have her integrate into the cult, but he also sees that eli has feelings for her as well. only, instead of killing eli himself or sending him on a suicide mission (like a normal bad guy would do), he manages to gaslight syb into believing that eli was bitten but was hiding it and convinces her to put eli down like a rabid dog </3
