I watched this when it came out on British TV in the 80s as a kid. I still know most of the song off by heart. This is quite the blast from the past. Thanks for that!

This is my massive love letter to some of my favorite dragon characters online. This year I really got in touch with my interest in dragons so I really wanted to make this a special illustration to show that. My little Dragon Glimmer is at the bottom hosting a little tea party. And there’s a hidden Sword in the Stone reference no one has pointed out yet.

It's been years and I've/we've grown and changed alot since. We were tight friends in the context of being embarrassing drawthread channer edgelord children on DeviantArt and also I crushing on her I guess. I got emotional wires crossed over some goofy teenaged drama, got petty over it like a teenaged dickhead and we haven't been friends since. Waaaay way over a decade now.

That and, she was winding down her raver mallgoth days and becoming a serious professional artist and altruist while I was simultaneously reaching out to become a congoing raver party person for the first time that I had looked up to in her so we just totally diverged in interests and social scenes and that sort of thing happens, like maturity at different stages. I'm glad I had her as a best friend at the time but I accept that as like, the past.

Wildly her high school best friend and I are still decent enough friends haha, he was also the first transguy I ever met and a sort of inspiration coming to that.
