*not my gif*
Wanda sat on the edge of her bed in the compound, a picture frame in her hand. She smiled at it softly, it was you and her at this random breakfast spot. It was one of those days where there were no missions, no aliens, no HYDRA agents. One of those days where you could just pretend to be normal.
She took in the photo once more. Your arm was wrapped around her shoulder, pulling her closer to your side. The two of you were looking at each other, doubling over from laughing too hard. The red head ran her thumb over your smiling face, a small sigh escaping her lips.
Everyone feared her after Ultron, but you saw her for who she really was. She was struggling. She lost her parents and her brother. She had no one and all she wanted to do was fight for the greater good.
You two were inseparable. She became your best friend, your sister, your platonic soulmate, your twin flame...whatever you wanted to call it.
People keep asking: “how are you feeling?” “What are you feeling?” But what can you say about your best friend who died when you got blipped and sacrificed herself to bring you back?
“Y/N. Y/N, c’mon get up. Please.” You heard a voice plead as they shook your body gently. Finally, coming to your senses, you opened your eyes to see your beautiful fiance staring back at you. A relieved sigh, escaping her lips.
You put your head in your hands before hissing at the stinging of the wound right above your eyebrow. The last thing you remember before falling unconscious was Thanos catching your webs and throwing you into a tree.
“Detka, be careful please. You were just unconscious please-” Natasha tried reasoning with you.
And you were going to listen, but you felt your spidey tingle start to go off. Something was happening, but you didn’t know what or where. You shot up from your spot in the ground, trying to let your senses guide you to where you needed to be, but it was going haywire.
“Love, what’s going on? What are you feeling?” Nat’s voice was like an echo, even though she was right there. You let out a quick sigh of relief, knowing that nothing bad was happening to her.
As soon as you ran into Wanda, your spidey senses were even louder than before. You immediately crouched down in front of her, cupping her face in your hands to make sure she was okay, “What’s wrong? Something’s wrong.” You told her.
“There’s this numbing feeling in my chest and it’s starting to spread through my entire body. I think, I think I need Bruce to check me out. Thanos must have done something to me, while I was protecting Vision.” She rambled on and on. Her heart rate was there, but it was growing more distant as time went on.
“Hey, you’re fine. You’re okay, nothing’s wrong.” Just as those words left your mouth, you noticed her body slowly start to fade away and you could tell she felt it too.
“Y/N, what’s going on??” She asked you, frantically, “What’s happening? Please don’t leave me.”
You tried to hold back the tears that were threatening to spill at the sight of your best friend, literally slipping away from your fingers, “Shh shh, it’s okay. I don’t know what’s happening, but I’m not going anywhere. I’m right here. I’m not leaving you alone.” You wrapped your arms around her fading figure, “I promise, I’m going to bring you back.”
And just like every promise you made to Wanda, you meant it. Except, you lied about one thing. You left her all alone.
That wasn’t your fault though. What choice did you have? You got handed the short end of the stick. Either you die or the love of your life dies.
Maybe it didn’t have to end like that though. Maybe if she didn’t get blipped it wouldn’t have happened.
You’d still be here and she wouldn’t be all alone...right?
At her mere thoughts, Wanda took a sip out of her flask. It always helped push away those thoughts. The Sokovian heard the lock to her bathroom turn and she quickly hid the picture frame and flask under her pillow. She used to keep the frame out 24/7, but ever since Nat had been taking residence in Wanda’s room the last month, she hides it, too scared to find out how she’d react to the photo.
Natasha came walking out, the same somber look on her face since the moment she got back from Vormir. This was the first time she’s showered willingly since you died. Honestly, this was the first time she was actually dressed up and presentable to even leave the room.
The drive up to Tony and Pepper’s cabin was quiet. Even stopping to pick up Yelena, the three girls who were usually talkative when together, were now silent.
“Natasha, where’s Natasha?” Yelena bursted through the compound.
The blonde was trying to save all the brainwashed Widows that she could, when suddenly she disappears for two seconds. Only to find out that it had been five years.
Yelena was impatient as it is, but that three hour drive to the Avengers Compound was one of the hardest things she’s ever had to do.
The amount of people she almost ran over, the red lights that she sped through, was too many to count. All she knew was that she needed to get to her sister.
“Yelena! You’re okay!” Clint greeted the girl.
But the blonde paid no attention to him, her head frantically searching for the person she needed to see the most, “Is Natasha okay? Where is she?”
“She’s not okay,” Clint told her, “I mean she’s alive and she’s well, but something happened and I think she needs her sister right now.”
The archer led his best friend’s younger sister to you and Natasha’s shared room. Broken frames and ripped pieces of clothing were scattered all over the floor and there was a hole in the hall that replaced Nat’s favorite picture of you and her.
The ex-assassin was sitting on the floor, staring blankly at the hole that was currently in the wall. Yelena approached her cautiously, sitting on the floor next to her, “What did the wall do to you?”
Yelena was expecting some sort of laugh or a quirk of the lips, but Natasha’s emerald eyes were locked on the wall in front of her, “Natasha, what happened?” The blonde approached again, but this time in a more sincere tone.
There was silence once more. The silence between the two sisters was usually comfortable. But this time, it was far from that.
“If you don’t start talking, I’m going to grab Y/N.” Yelena threatened.
And just by the sound of your name Nat finally looked at her sister. The look on her older’s sisters face said it all. The agony in her eyes was now visible. Her heart that pumped for you and for you only had now stopped.
Silence has never been so loud.
“Oh.”
From that moment on, Yelena put Natasha above herself. Every chance she got, whatever Nat needed, the blonde would be right by her side. But in doing that, she never got to process your death.
This isn’t real, Yelena thought. She’s not going to your funeral right now. She’s just going to Tony’s and when they reach his cabin, you’re going to be there. This is just a prank that you’re pulling on her. You always used to pull pranks on the girl and this one was just the biggest of them all.
That’s it. That’s the real reason why you weren’t here.
It’s just some sick joke you’re playing.
While everyone was trying to make small talk before the ceremony, Wanda headed towards the cellar, where all the alcohol was stored. She took a long hard look at all of the bottles. They were practically screaming her name, begging for her to drink them.
One bottle wouldn’t hurt, right?
She unscrewed a bottle of bourbon and just as she was about to pour it, a voice called out to her, “You really think that’s a good idea?”
She sighed, placing the bottle back down on the counter. The Sokovian took one look at the blonde man in front of her, “It’s only one shot, Steve.”
“Then one turns to two, two turns to three, three turns to four, four turns to-” He was about to continue when Wanda cut him off.
“I get it, okay? But one shot is not a big deal,” She tried to reason, “And on a day like today, I need all the alcohol I can get.”
Steve let out a frustrated sigh, “Just like how every night that you’re not taking care of Natasha you’re getting blacked out?” His blue eyes were staring daggers into the younger Avenger, “Look, I get needing something for the first few days, but it’s been a month. Wanda, we all know what you’re going through. We’re feeling it too.”
She shook her head, “No, you’re not feeling what I am feeling! No one understands!”
“Really? Not even Natasha?!” He asked her, “So go on, tell me! Since no one seems to understand, tell me!”
“She promised she’d never leave me alone!” She screamed at him, throwing the bottle of bourbon at the wall. The glass shattering into a million pieces, just like the witch’s heart.
“Come here.” Steve gestured to the spot on the floor where had chosen to reside in.
Wanda sat down next to him, trying to calm her breathing down, but she just couldn’t hold onto it anymore. A sob escaped her lips as she hung her head down and more sobs continued to follow.
“I can’t take it,” She murmured. Steve wrapped his strong arms around her, pulling her closer to him. He rubbed her back softly, trying to console her as best as he could.
“Y/N was the only person who reminded me everyday of who I really am. I wasn’t this monster who hurts people. I’m just someone who’s trying to do the right thing. But how am I supposed to remember that without her being here to remind me?”
“It’s just something you gotta do on your own now, Kid. It’s not the same as when she was alive, I know, but you need to remember how she saw you,” Captain’s voice started becoming more and more choked up as he kept talking, “She always saw the best in you, so be the best version of you for her. If you listen close enough, her voice is still in your head and it will always be there.”
Wanda silently sobbed at his words. The tears were falling and falling and it seemed like they would never stop.
Upstairs, Peter was sitting on the couch with Aunt May by his side. He didn’t say anything to anyone. Well, he hasn’t said anything for the last month.
“Peter, sweetie, do you need anything?” Aunt May asked and he just shook his head, giving her a tight-lipped smile.
Sure, everyone lost two people that day, but Peter...he lost so much more than that. He lost a father figure. He lost a mother figure. He lost his mentors. He lost everything that made him into the hero he is today.
“Now that we’re all here, I’d like to thank you all for coming today,” Happy’s voice spoke up through the small crowd of people, “Before we start the actual ceremony, Rhodey and I found a video in FRIDAY to play for you guys.”
Tony’s hologram appeared in the living room, “So I thought I better record a greeting, in the case of an untimely death, on my part. I mean, not that death at any time isn’t untimely. This time travel thing we’re gonna try and pull of tomorrow, it’s got me scratching my head about the survivability of it all. Then again, that’s the hero gig. Part of the journey is the end. What am I even tripping for? Everything’s gonna work out exactly the way it’s supposed to.”
“Tony, what the hell are you doing?” Your voice echoed from off the hologram, “Are you vlogging? I didn’t think you knew what that was!”
Natasha’s breath hitched as you came into view of the hologram. You were wearing one of her t-shirt’s that was a little too big and sweatpants, “I know what vlogging is, I am not Cap!” Tony argued and there was a dry chuckle that swept over the Avengers.
Steve rolled his eyes playfully, his ice blue eyes bordering with tears, “So, what are you doing then?” You asked him, sitting down next to him.
Tony pointed at his suit helmet, “I’m filming a video, just in case I...ya know.” He dropped his head to to the side and stuck out his tongue.
Your teasing smile dropped as you looked at him with serious eyes, “We’ll be alright, you know that, right?” You told him, but you were trying to convince yourself more than him, “We’re the Avengers. We’re going to bring them back: Wanda, Peter, Pepper, all of them. We’ll be fine, right?”
“We’ll be just fine, Kiddo.” He put his hand on your shoulder and squeezed it softly, but by the look in his eyes you knew he had no clue. Everyone in the room had tears in their eyes, some already falling onto their cheeks. “Do you have anything you want to say before we sign off?”
“No, I don’t because I know it’ll be okay. When Nat and I finally have our wedding, I promise I’ll get sappy on all of you then. But for right now, I’m saving it until I see you all again.” You told the camera with a confident smile on your face.
Tony looked at the time on his watch, “Kid, what are you doing up anyway?”
“Oh, Nat’s not feeling well. She woke up and ran to the bathroom to throw up,” The ex-assassin’s heart dropped to her stomach at those words, “I’m making her toast right now.”
“Is that what’s burning?” He asked and you sniffed the air, turning towards the kitchen, but you just brushed it off, “She like it extra toasty, so it’ll be okay!”
“Why is there black smoke in the kitchen?!” Clint’s voice came through the hologram.
That’s when you shot up from your seat and sprinted towards the kitchen. Tony just shook his head disappointedly at the camera, “I don’t know how you deal with that Romanoff, but I get why you love her.”
The holograms faded away and everyone sat there in a heavy silence. Until Yelena let out a roar of laughter, “Alright Y/N, come on out now! The joke is going a little too far.”
“Yelena, what are you talking about?” Wanda asked her, nudging her shoulder.
“This is obviously a prank, you know how she is. She loves to prank us. She’s a jokester! This is all one big joke, come on Y/N. Where are you hiding? I’m an assassin, you know. I could find you in two seconds.” She stood up from her chair and searched the room.
“No this isn’t-” Bruce’s voice filled the air before she cut him off.
“Seriously guys, where is she? Haha, we’re all laughing! It was a good prank, now come on out Y/N!” There was an eerie silence that no one dared to fill as the girl’s voice started growing more frantic, “Y/N! Y/N! This isn’t funny, please!”
“She’s dead, Yelena!” Natasha screamed, shocking everyone, “She is dead! Gone! We’re about to bury her empty casket! So please stop giving me the slightest bit of hope that she’ll actually come back because I know she’s not!”
The younger Black Widow looked at everyone, shaking her head slightly, “No.” She muttered, but all it took was one look at Clint who gave her the slightest nod to start breaking down.
A small cry escaped the blonde’s lips. She covered her mouth as tears threatened to fall out of her eyes, but she couldn’t let anyone see her break. Natasha removed her eyes from her sister and looked at her hands in her laps, fiddling with her fingers while trying to ignore the sobs that came.
Peter and Clint all stood up from their seats to try and console the Widow, but she ran out of the house. Without another word, Peter followed her, using his spidey senses to navigate where she went. He found her not too far from the cabin, sitting on the edge of the dock.
“Are you okay?” Peter whispered, his own voice even shocking him. He forgot what he sounded like for a second.
“That’s a dumb question, Little Spider.” Yelena sniffled and Peter’s lips quirked up into a small smile at nickname. There was a comfortable silence between the two until she finally spoke up again, “She’s really gone?”
“Yeah. She really is.”
A shaky breath left Yelena’s mouth before she spoke, “She was a much better person than I am. Even though she was tortured and became a science experiment, not once did she use her powers for evil. She didn’t go around assassinating people. She was just...good.”
“Y/N loved you like a little sister. It wasn’t even because you’re Ms. Romanoff’s little sister. She would’ve loved you either way,” He told her, “I made mistakes when I became Spider-Man. A lot of people could’ve gotten hurt on a mission and I was angry and frustrated that Mr. Stark was treating me like a little kid that I didn’t care.”
There was a small pause as he sniffled, “And despite screwing everything up, she didn’t care. She still saw the good and the potential in me, even when no one else did.”
“Is everyone okay?” Peter asked.
You were sitting on the edge of a building, watching as Tony started scolding your young protege. Even though there are better ways to approach this, you couldn’t really step in. It was Tony’s suit that he hacked.
“No thanks to you.”
Peter looked at him with an incredulous look on his face as he hopped down onto the platform, “No thanks to me? Those weapons are out there and I tried to tell you about it, but you didn’t listen. None of this would’ve happened if you would’ve just listened to me!”
You put your hand on Peter’s chest, pushing him back slightly, “Hey, that’s enough. Calm down.” You warned him, but he pushed past you.
“If you actually cared, you would be here right now!”
Tony’s suit opened up as he stood in front of you and Peter. You left out a soft sigh, knowing that the young boy had disobeyed Tony’s commands one too many times.
“This isn’t working out. Give me the suit back.” Tony demanded and that’s when you shot your head up.
“For how long?” Peter’s voice asked laced with worry and disbelief.
“Forever.”
You took off your mask and stood in front of your student, “Tony, c’mon. He made a mistake, is that really necessary?” You asked him, before bringing your voice down to a whisper, “He has so much potential, don’t let that go to waste.”
Your mentor shook his head, “It is necessary! People almost died! He could’ve died! And you know what? Maybe that’s not gonna be on me if he died, that would’ve been on you! I trusted you to be his mentor and now he’s going out disobeying not just you, but me! Do I have to question your abilities now?”
“No, sir.” You whispered, clenching your jaw to stop from going off on him.
When Tony left with the suit, you continued to sit there in silence with Peter. When finally, he turned to you with red eyes, “I’m sorry. I should’ve just listened. Then I wouldn’t have failed you or disappointed you.”
“No. I’m sorry, Parker. I should’ve been a better mentor to you. You didn’t fail me, I failed you. Is what you did wrong? Yes, you should’ve talked to me. I could’ve helped you. You don’t have to lie to me.” You told him.
“I know.” He whispered.
“I can show you all these cool tricks and fighting moves, but the best thing I can teach you is to just be better. Be better than me. Be better than Tony. Tony and I used to fight battles just to fight, but you need to fight with meaning. Pick the battles that you are passionate about, the battles that you believe in despite what everyone else says. You’re more than just a fancy suit, Parker. You are the future of the Avengers.” You tried to comfort him the best you could.
“But I’m not an Avenger anymore.” He muttered, looking back down at his lap.
You scoffed, “When we stop this guy, you will be.”
His eyes perked up at your statement, “Wait what?”
“You think this fight is worth it?” You asked and he just nodded, “Then we’ll stop him. Remember where you started, you’re more than just a fancy suit.”
Peter smiled widely, “Thank you, thank you, thank you!” He crashed into you, wrapping his arms tightly around you. You laughed softly, hugging him back even tighter.
“I know you’ll make me proud.”
“Despite everything you’ve done Yelena, she still loves you.” He whispered to the girl with tears in his eyes, “The only thing you can do is just be better than her, that’s what she would’ve wanted.”
“I just don’t know how that’s possible.” She whispered, staring out at the water.
“I don’t know how either, but one day we’ll figure it out. We just got to take it one step at a time. We’re the future, now.”
“No pressure, right?” Yelena teased, chuckling to herself.
Peter let out a chuckle himself, “Right. We’ve got some big shoes to fill, but they wouldn’t have made us Avengers if they didn’t think we could do it.” The two shared a smile, “Now c’mon, let’s head back.”
Natasha and the rest of the Avengers stood around the dug up ground. Wanda and Yelena’s hand were intertwined with Nat’s the entire time. The red head had a strong front, but it didn’t take a rocket science to know that she was breaking.
“Nat. Natty. Love. Lovey. Baby.” You called out to her in a sing song voice. She was sitting on your shared bed mesmerized by the book she reading. It normally didn’t bother you, but the book was getting so much more attention than you were.
You huffed in frustration, placing your head in her lap. When you would normally do that, she’d start playing with your hair or something. But she just continued reading.
“If I die, bury me in the ground, so if you get sad or feel alone, just know that I still lie underneath the same stars. Plus, it’ll be cute for picnic dates because you know that I love a good picnic. And I’ll be one with my people! The spiders!” You told her, out of nowhere.
That seemed to grab her attention, “You’re a dork, did you know that?”
“But I’m your dork and I finally got your attention haha!” You poked her nose, softly and she just rolled her eyes playfully.
“Out of all the things you could say, you went with dying, really?” She asked you.
You shrugged, shooting up from your spot in her lap, “I don’t know! It was either that or I just stripped in front of you right now!” You tried to explain your reasoning.
Nat raised her eyebrows at your suggestion. She put the book down and grabbed your waist, pulling you onto her lap. Her lips ghosted over yours and you didn’t know it was possible for your heart to beat so fast, “I would’ve much rather prefer the latter.”
As she watched them lower your casket into the ground, the wall that she built so high to stay strong was quickly crumbling from underneath her. Natasha let out a shaky breath to try and contain it.
“Can you promise me something?” Nat whispered to you.
Your back was against her front and you just held her tightly. This was one of the time where she was the most vulnerable, being held in her arms just made her feel like she was invincible. Nothing could hurt her if you were just right here.
“Anything, my love.”
“Promise that you’ll raise our kids to be like you. I’m just going to fuck them up.” She muttered, “Everything I did, all the people I hurt...I don’t want them to end up like me.”
You sat your head up on your elbow before guiding your fiance to look at you. Finally, you were met with her piercing green eyes, “I hope they end up like you. Natasha, you’re strong and resilient and you never give up on the people you love ever. Our kids will be lucky to have a mom like you.”
The emotions. They were all starting to get a little too much, “No.” Natasha whispered to no one in particular.
“What?” Yelena asked, “Natasha, are you okay?”
Natasha pinched herself over and over again. C’mon, this is just a dream. She’s not dead. I’m not going to look over this cliff and see her lifeless body. She didn’t leave me.
The Black Widow finally gained enough courage to peek over the edge of the cliff. She let out a heart wrenching scream at the sight of you, “No! Y/N! Come back, please! Please!”
An orange stone magically appeared in her hands. All of this for a fucking stone. She fought every urge in her body to not throw it off the cliff. To not destroy it into a million pieces. Because then it would’ve meant nothing and you were always everything to her.
The red head threw her hand over her mouth as a sob escaped her lips. Her whole body started shaking with sobs. Yelena wrapped her arms around her sister to try and console her, but it was no use.
The casket disappeared from view and Nat couldn’t take it anymore. It was all too much. She shook her head, mumbling once more, “No.”
She looked around the grassy area, trying to find you somewhere in the comfort. Trying to find the ghost of you, but you weren’t there. Her comfort. Her home. Her hope. You weren’t there.
The ex-assassin let out an exasperated breath, suddenly feeling like all the oxygen was slowly leaving her body. She started to gasp for breath as she fell onto her knees.
Everyone just stood around and watched. There was nothing else they could do. They couldn’t bring you back. Natasha let out a groan in agony and Clint just closed his eyes, trying to block out the noises of his best friend in pain.
Yelena stood back, putting her hand up against her mouth at the sigh of the strongest person she knew breaking down. The tears that she was trying to hold back was falling freely.
Nat continued to sob, grasping for air, grasping for you to hold onto. She let out another painful groan which caused Steve to physically wince. No one should ever hear that in their life. Even Thor was struggling to keep the tears in.
Everyone gathered in a line to toss flowers on top of your casket. Wanda held Nat as she tried to calm down. The duo watched as everyone tossed a flower in.
Steve kissed his flower softly before throwing it into your casket, “Until we meet again.” He whispered.
“Thank you for protecting my sister. I promise I’ll protect her, just like you did. You have my word.” The younger Black Widow looked down at your casket, letting out a deep shaky breath, before throwing the flower in.
Your protege stood tall, trying his best to fight back the tears. He shot a web out of his wrist, a thing the two of you would do every time you’d leave each other. A quick web on the back or you’d web his butt just to annoy him.
“Thank you for everything. I’ll make you proud.” He whispered.
Wanda slowly made her way up to the casket, after Yelena took over where she once was, “You’re an ass for leaving me.” She muttered to your casket, “But I know you’re never actually gone. I’ll take care of everything down here, you say hi to Pietro for me and save me a spot up there.”
Lastly, it was Natasha’s turn. Yelena and Clint were at her side, their arms linked with hers. Even though her sobbing was calmed down, the tears still fell.
“I love you Y/N. I will always love you. We’ll be okay.”
Natasha stood by the shore of the lake. The cool water pooling at her feet as she stared out at the sun that was beginning to set.
“How long?” Wanda’s voice filled her ears, breaking her from her trace.
“2 months,” The Black Widow responded, her hand resting on her stomach, “We didn’t think it would work. We had no idea. When everyone was blipped, we realized that life was too short to not try to start our family. Bruce used his big brain to create an artificial uterus that would function properly. We tried a few times and it didn’t work until the very last time.”
The Sokovian looked at her with sad eyes, “You never told her?”
Natasha shook her head, tears finally threatening to spill, “I was going to tell her before we went to Vormir, but I never got the chance to and-“ Her voice cracked, “I just knew that if I told her on Vormir, it would make her want to sacrifice herself even more because now she wasn’t just protecting me, but she was protecting our baby.”
“She did what she thought was right. Maybe a part of her knew. You know, her spidey tingle and all that...” Wanda said, trying to make her feel better, “She always knew when you started to feel sick, so maybe she already knew.”
Natasha was sleeping peacefully by your side. Your hands were running through her hair and small snores escaped her beautiful face. The sound of her heartbeat was slowly lulling you to sleep.
It was one of the only things that could get you to sleep. Just as you were about to drift off into dreamland, you heard a second heartbeat. It was faint, but you heard it. You looked around the room trying to find out where it was coming from.
You leaned forward, closer to Nat, noticing how the heartbeat grew louder the closer you got. Silently, you put your head against her stomach. The heartbeat was thumping in your ear now, louder than ever.
A wide smile formed onto your face, tears of joy starting to fall onto your face, “Hey, little spider. I can’t wait to meet you.”
“You were right.” Natasha stated.
Wanda tilted her head, “Right about what?”
“I was going to be the death of her.” She stated, her voice choking up.
“No, no you weren’t. You brought the life into her. She was just living just to live before she met you, Nat. And now? She’s gone, yes, but she found something to die for.” Wanda told her, “I know you’re thinking of leaving and never coming back. I saw your packed bag in my room, but she’d want you to stay. Stay with your family, live for her now and for your child, but the choice is yours.”
Wanda left the woman alone with her thoughts. The sunset and a beautiful purple hue started to fill the sky. Natasha let out a soft cry, a smile appearing on her face at the sight.
Purple was always her favorite color.

TRIGGER WARNING!!! SPOILERS AHEAD.
Alright all shit aside that scene with Nate and Cal was fucked up and scary. Some people interpretation of the situation was that Nate was SA by Cal and others interpretation of it was Nate seeing the tapes of Cal at such a young age warped Nate. I'm leaning more towards the second interpretation. Nate becoming the very thing he despises has got to be alot for him. Combine that with Cal and Marsha's fucked up parenting, Nate was bound to grow into a pos. Nate seeing himself as one of Cal's partners/victims was really sick.... I don't know how to put it into words, it makes sense in my head but I get why Nate is the way he is. Not excusing his behavior cause majority of us unfortunately have some kind of trauma and we chose to not to be pieces of shit. We go get therapy or roll up and sort that fuckin shit out. Victimizing people cause you were victimized yourself is not an excuse, if anything you're supposed to know better, but I get that it's not as black and white as it is. His parents failed him. Marsha purposely turning a blind eye was just as bad. She had to know what Cal was doing. What parent doesn't know their kid?!! This would never be a Nate sympathy/apologist blog but I just get it.
Now onto Maddy and Cassie.... I was really trying to empathize with Cass up until she fuckin slept with Nate but Cass is a really bad friend. The fact that Maddy loved, probably still does love Cassie, more than Nate and was more hurt over the fact that Cassie betrayed her was heartbreaking. Maddy confessing by the door that Nate put her through hell and Cassie still went ahead to live with him and was flaunting being with him during school was downright trifilin and disgusting. Maddy called Cassie her soulmate and meant that shit and when she said she would've never did that to Cassie, that hurt bro.
Am I the only one who doesn't trust Samantha.. idk something about her is off.
For all Mama Suze faults you can't say she doesn't love and support her daughters. Just hope she can heal so she could get her happy ending. She was so proud of Lexi, it had me gushing.
I'm glad to see Rue thriving and getting sober. Leslie needed to have that talk with Rue. She honestly would've killed herself trying to save Rue and it would've destroyed Gia in the end. Finally they're acknowledging Gia in this. That baby always gets the shitty end of the stick. This quote, "sometimes you have to let go of stuff or people that destroy us no matter how much you love them" resonates deeply with that conversation. Rue dragging down herself will in turn sink everybody around her whether she wants to or not. Idc how much people love the idea of Jules and Rue but Rue needs to stay away from her. Rue and Jules aren't good for each other. She enables her behavior and then acts innocent. What Rue said about her was facts. Still haven't forgiven her and Elliott and I never will.
Ethan my darling. I love him your honor. Kat looked so pretty this episode. Fezbae and Ash need to be OK. Ashtray spidey senses are tingling and I need him to figure it out before something happens. The only reason why they got caught slipping is cause Ash went to the bathroom. We all know our boy is sharper than that. Faye is upsetting me. Fez was so nice to her bro.. His grandmother did warn him about his heart of gold but he can't help it. Haven't met his mom but that's her child. I just really don't want Fez heart to fuck him over in the end. Fez nervousness when getting ready was really sweet and adorable. You'll always be handsome baby. Lexi and his relationship is really fuckin sweet 😭💜. Also them messing with Lexi and her Halloween costume being Bob Ross was hilarious. I hope Rue and Lexi could get back close.
I'm done ranting now, the producers were some hoes for doing that cliffhanger. Bitch I got anxiety and this is all I'm gonna think about till Sunday.

5 times peter parker wanted to tell you he loves you, and the one time he finally does
summary- basically the title
warnings- angst, death, blood, swear words
1.
the first time peter wanted to tell you he loved you more than a friend was, when you both were studying for a test at his house. may said you could sleep over as it was getting late, and you live across town. she didn’t mind you sleeping over though, it’s not like you haven’t done it before.
“ughh can we stop studying? i feel like my head is about to explode with knowledge!” you sighed heavily, smacking your science book against your head causing peter to laugh tiredly.
“mmm okay, do you want to watch a film?”
“you know it!”
within minutes, peter had star wars on and sweets ready for you both. you were both engrossed in the film in-front of you, while you sat on peter’s bed, covered in blankets. you and peter were so interested in what was happening, that you didn’t realise you both moved your hands at the same time, to pick up the same piece of popcorn, causing your hands to meet and an electrical spark to form.
you both looked at each other, before you smiled, apologising slightly and turned back to the film. but, peter couldn’t turn his eyes away. he was engrossed not in the film, but in you. and in that moment, peter realised he was falling in love with his best friend.
2.
the second time peter wanted to tell you he loved you more than a friend was, when you stood up to flash when he was being mean to peter. it was during lunch at midtown school, where you, peter, ned and mj all sat on your regular table in the canteen. peter couldn’t help but look at you for longer after you spoke. you just looked so beautiful, causing peter to blush. but then, flash came causing you all the groan in annoyance.
“hey penis parker! still with your imaginary girlfriend? or are you still drooling over y/n?”
peter wanted to punch him right in the face when he mentioned your name. but, he also mentally slapped himself for being so dumb at how obvious he was in love with you.
“flash...go away!” peter spoke quietly, not making eye contact, but instead looking at you.
“ohhh, your not denying that you love her then?”
“flash,” you harshly spoke, looking at him, “do us a favour and fuck off! stop saying peter doesn’t have a girlfriend! it just shows how he hasn’t found the right person yet, which is so clever in my opinion! but, you go round the school going out with every girl which is so fucking stupid! so, can you please leave us alone so we can eat our fucking lunch?!”
the whole canteen fell quiet, causing you to blush slightly looking down at her food. seconds later, students forgot about what happened and the canteen came back to life. flash laughed slightly, before walking away which was must of a relief to the group.
“y/n i-i,” peter was going to say it, he was so close to saying it, “i-i i appreciate that you stood up for me.”
“no worries, it’s what best friends do!”
peter flinched at those words. he didn’t want to be best friends with you. he wanted to call you his.
3.
the third time peter wanted to tell you he loved you more than a friend was, when you found out he was spiderman.
it was silly how you found out the friendly neighbourhood spiderman was in fact peter parker. during the school day, you both agreed to go to peter’s house after school to study (which is what you normally do.) you told him that you had to collect something, but would meet him at his house which he happily agreed.
however, peter being spiderman caused him to be hours late to meeting you at his house, due to fighting all the bad guys.
with many persuasions from karen, peter decided to go home, causing him to want his bed even more. when he snook into his room, he was shocked to find you sat on his bed, starring at him.
you must of starred at each other for minutes, before you actually moved towards peter.
“you-you’re spiderman?”
“errr,” peter didn’t know if it was a statement or question, “yehh?”
“w-what? how is this possible? are you an avenger?”
“i’m sure you have lots of questions, which i would answer tomorrow. you know, fighting bad guys is tiring!”
“are you hurt?!”
“shhh y/n!” peter quickly looked to the door, incase may heard.
“may doesn’t know?!”
“no, if she found out she would definitely tell me to stop!”
“okay okay okay, i won’t tell anyone if that’s what your wondering. we are not done with this conversation though, pete!”
“yes, okay,” peter smiled slightly at you, “thanks for excepting me as spiderman.”
“it’s okay, i love,” when you spoke, peter hoped you would say those three words, he’s been dying to say for the past two months, “being friends with spiderman! so cool!”
peter wanted to cry. of course, you think you’re only friends. all he wanted to do, was kiss you and tell you how much he loved you. but he couldn’t.
“right, i’ve got to go! see you tomorrow spidey!”
“yeah, bye.” peter sulked, once you left, falling onto his bed with his head stuffed in his pillow.
how can it be so hard telling your best friend that he loves you more than a friend?
4.
the fourth time peter wanted to tell you he loved you more than a friend was, mainly due to ned.
you, peter and ned where all at ned’s house, building a lego death star. you where all eating crap, which isn’t abnormal for all of you.
“right i’ll be right back, i need the toilet.” you smiled to them both, before leaving the room.
peter and ned watched you leave, before ned quickly turned to peter as soon as you left the room.
“mate, you gotta tell her!”
peter kind of regrets telling ned how he feels about you, instead of telling well...you. whenever ned gets the chance, he reminds peter on his feelings. it’s not like peter reminds himself 24/7.
“ned, no. she’s said so many times how she views me as a friend.” peter replied, looking away from him to carry on placing lego in the correct places.
“peter...listen to me,” ned spoke, causing peter to meet his eyes before sighing slightly, “if you don’t tell her how you feel, she will soon find someone who will tell her. she will move on. i bet you, actually i know she likes you back. you can just see the love you both feel when your in the same room! it’s disgusting but in a cute way. peter, if you don’t tell her, you’ll loose the chance to.”
“don’t tell who what?” you entered, making peter and ned jump (especially peter.)
you couldn’t of heard everything could you? thoughts where running through peters mind, at what you could of heard. peter sensed that ned was looking at him, forcing him to finally say what he’s been wanting to say for months.
“i-i,” peter was shocked, he couldn’t bare this amount of stress, “i’ve got to go.”
“oh.” you spoke quietly, immediately thinking you said something which upset him. without saying a goodbye, peter left, leaving his best friend and the girl who he loved to much to say.
5.
the fifth time peter wanted to tell you he loved you more than a friend was, when he found out you had a boyfriend.
peter harshly choked on his food in the school canteen, when you said you were going out with brad. peter wanted to scream in pain, anger and sadness. he missed his chance. he wants to shout at ned for what he said two weeks ago about how he will miss his chance. well, ned was right.
“peter? are you okay?”
he wanted to say no. he wanted to say ‘i love you y/n.’ but, he just couldn’t. he sounds so dumb but he physically couldn’t speak.
“yesss, he’s fine. food went down the wrong way.” ned quickly spoke, saving peter from talking. ned felt bad for his best friend, he could see how distraught he was at your news.
“okay. oh, there’s brad! see you guys later!” you smiled at them both, letting your eyes go to peter for longer.
ever since you watched star wars those months ago, you noticed how weirdly peter has been acting around you, but you didn’t know why. was it something you did? is something going on in his life? whatever it is, it’s eating peter from the inside.
once you left, ned immediately looked at peter to see him crying into his hands. he’s never seen peter cry. not even when his uncle died. he didn’t know what to do or how to help his best friend. ned knew, that y/n was peters soulmate, but it was too late.
6.
the one time peter actually told you he loved you was, a moment peter will regret for the rest of his life.
“peter, is y/n with you?”
“no, why?”
“she hasn’t came home.”
peter’s hairs stuck up on the back of his neck, as soon as your mum said those words. he knew something was off. his spider senses were going haywire.
“i’ll call her now mrs l/n.”
“thank you peter, i hope she’s okay.”
he could sense the worry laced within her voice, “me too.”
peter quickly put his suit on, before swinging out the window. he asked his a.i, if she knew were you where, before heading to a location across town, due to karen sensing your heat signature.
a few minutes later, he arrived to a run down building. he quietly swung into a large room, where he noticed a figure sat on a chair in the middle of the room. his breath hitched, when he realised the figure was you. he ran towards you, looking side to side to see if anyone else was here.
“y/n?”
he took in the sight of you. you where clearly beaten, with fresh blood pouring across your body. peter wanted to kill whoever did this to you. you had duck tape across your lips, making your words sound more like muffles.
“oh my god, what happened?” he spoke, carefully taking of the duck tape and untying your hands behind the chair. you suddenly wrapped your arms around peters neck, letting the tears fall while he calmed you.
“c-can we go?”
“gladly.” he replied, before shooting a web to leave.
“not so fast, spidey.”
peter’s tingles went off, when he released who that’s voice belonged to. turning around, he was met with green, wicked eyes.
“greeny! how you doing!” peter spoke, before quickly telling you to hide and to stay there.
“better, now your here! i can finally ruin you. for good.” the green goblin smiled wickedly, before throwing his first punch.
meanwhile, you found a spot behind a cupboard. you were shaking so quickly. why was this happening to you? you’ve had enough stress this past week. you and brad broke up. you failed your test. you and peter haven’t been talking properly, which you didn’t know why.
you looked above the cupboard, to see peter fighting the green goblin. webs and knives where being flown across the room. you where so intrigued, with what peter was doing you didn’t see that the goblin noticed you.
“you took away my world,” the goblin spoke to peter, not loosing eye contact from you, “so i’m going to take away yours.”
peter followed the goblins eyes to you. god, no. not you.
“y/n, run!” peter screeched, before fighting the goblin away from you. but he was faster, and flew towards you, spinning you into his arms.
“goblin, you don’t want to do this. if you do this, i will fucking kill you!”
“ahh good. you know what my weakness is, spiderman? making sure you’re dead, inside and outside.” the goblin replied wickedly, before grabbing one of his spikes, looking at you before stabbing you deep in the chest.
it was as time slowed down for you. the excruciating pain you felt, once he removed the spike overflowed you. you heard peter’s screams, before you where threw onto the ground below the goblins ship.
“bye spidey, i’ll be back.” he spoke, before flying away.
peter quickly took his mask off, running desperately to you. blood was pouring out of your wound, to quickly for peter to handle. his head was spinning. tears fell from his eyes, landing softly onto your bruised neck.
“p-pete...” you spoke softly, whimpering at the pain you felt.
“shhh, it’s o-okay,” he spoke, smiling slighting, moving your soft and dirty hair out of your face, “y-y/n i need to tell you something.”
you met his eyes, crying slightly but waiting for him to continue.
“i-i i love you,” he laughed slightly, glad he finally told you, “more than a friend, i love you so much y/n l/n.”
“i-i love you too p-peter parker.”
peter smiled widely, stroking your cheek slightly before leaning in kissing your lips. it was as fireworks where exploding. the kiss tasted like salt from the tears and blood, but in was filled with pure love and adoration.
peter moved away to meet your eyes smiling slightly. but, his smile soon disappeared when he noticed your eyes were glazed.
“n-no,” peter shook you violently, “wake up! wake up! don’t you dare leave me.”
seconds passed, and you weren’t responding to peter’s desperate calls.
“y-y/n, i can’t live without you.” he whispered into your ear, letting his sobs out.
he told you he loved you. but, it was too late. you have left him, and peter hates himself for it.
“i love you, y/n.” peter spoke to the empty room.

AVENGERS INFINITY WAR MEGATHREAD
-really doubt i'm gonna be able to finish this movie so we'll just see where i get to
- we already know how i feel about loki and thor, we don't need to revisit this
- ok but if i were going to revisit this, i mean come on, who wants to talk about "hela draws her power from asgard, same as you" cos i wanna talk about that
like what if that's the reason thor, god of thunder, king to a civilisation of warriors, was unable to fend off like, 4 dudes and a big purple dinosaur? the royal family of asgard draws its power from asgard, and without it, they are weak, they are mortal. maybe that's why heimdall is unable to just, you know, bifrost everybody off the fucking ship the minute it comes under attack. maybe that's why loki can't fucking conjure up a swarm of fucking microscopic knives to fillet the invaders from the inside out. MAYBE THAT'S WHY LOKI TRIES TO KILL THANOS WITH A FUCKING DAGGER. BECAUSE TAKE AWAY HIS POWER, TAKE AWAY HIS GODHOOD, WHAT DOES HE HAVE LEFT OTHER THAN HIS WILE, HIS TRICKS AND HIS BROTHER
WHAT IF IN SAVING THE UNIVERSE AND DESTROYING ASGARD, THEY'VE LOST EVERYTHING INCLUDING WHAT MAKES THEM GODS
somebody talk about this
- etc etc what if the reason loki is unable to attack the purple dinosaur with magic is because when he tackled thor earlier, he used whatever magic he had left to spare in order to heal him
checks out cos thor goes from flat on his face to swinging his fists in the space of like 30 seconds and the only thing to happen to him in between is said bit about loki tackling him
- why does heimdall save hulk? i mean, i could understand it if he were trying to aim the bifrost at thor and somebody somehow knocked off his aim and he accidentally saves hulk, but like, we've established that heimdall's loyalty is to the royal seat of asgard upon whom sits thor's mighty ass. thor who, in this scene, has just been incapacitated by a metal eggshell(?) and is at the mercy of their assailants. given heimdall's priorities, it is baffling to the point of inconceivability that he would preferentially save fucking HULK over his own king.
- if this next scene isn't the guardians of the galaxy coming across thor clutching loki's dead fucking body floating through space then i don't know why any of us are even here
- "he sent loki! the attack on new york was thanos!" makes no sense? like, if loki's scepter had the mind stone in it, which we established it did in the last movie when we broke it open to retrieve vision, then.....why didn't thanos just....take the mind stone in the first place? cos rock collecting is and has always been his goal?
what, do you think that just because you assert a thing makes us forget all the shit that happened before?
- i.....am actually with tony stark. why don't they just destroy the stones they have so that thanos can't get to them? oh, you made a promise? well promises change and circumstances change! you tell him tony! you tell that stupid fucker --
oh my god i'm gonna be ill
- i think the only person whose ego can match tony stark's is probably a neurosurgeon so 👍 i guess
-i love how we immediately went back to the "so dark can't see shit" aesthetic after ragnorak because ensuring that one's audience can SEE what is HAPPENING IN YOUR MOVIE is apparently for radical directors like taika waititi
- cannot believe that tony stark staring at captain america's phone number is being played with the same emotional intensity as thor losing his soulmate entire people
- honestly how many times is the mcu gonna invoke 9/11 imagery til someone calls them out for being terrorists
- lmao i know i said this before but peter's spidey senses tingling AFTER the giant alien anus has already started sucking up new york and it is right outside his window is fucking hilarious. that's just called using your eyeballs peter
- "friday notify first responders about the giant alien anus sucking up new york" lol like the first thing somebody did when the alien anus showed up wasn't to fucking call 911 GREAT IDEA TONY
- still can't believe that they let failed neurosurgeon dr strange do more magic than god of tricks and sorcery loki lol
- i know i rag on dr strange a lot about the fact that he's a neurosurgeon it's just that he sucks.
as a neurosurgeon eyy.
- i hate that peter parker has to be here!!!!! leave him alone!!!!!
- tony stark should not be allowed within 100 feet of children or minorities
- it is very weird to me that steve "brooklyn" rogers has an area code from georgia
- since when was hela a half-sister? ODIN'S DAUGHTER AND THOR'S BLOODED SIBLINGS OR BUST YOU FUCKING COWARDS
- i am very disappointed that thor is going to go get another weapon after we spent the whole last movie talking about how he is not the god of hammers
- i just need thor to have much more PTSD than he has right now. fucking hulk has ptsd. maybe they're saving the ptsd for later. one can only hope.
- i am glad that they are letting him be cleverer though
- THEY ARE LETTING VISION DATE A TEENAGER WHY
GOD. FUCKING GROSS.
- wait when did vision turn into a white man again? did i miss that movie?
- i am disappointed that vision the computer techno robot apparently has a penis. like what a stupid limitation to give your computer techno robot, gender. 🙄
- i think that the mass destruction of infrastructure and architecture in the MCU is because of the pg13 no blood limitation that disney has set? like there's no way to show destruction to the body, so one may only show the exponential destruction to one's surroundings. like imagine how much more dramatic intensity you could wring out of a regular fight scene would be if people were allowed to bleed?
- cannot believe that a computer techno robot and a witch are having a punch up with the bad guys. of all people to fight with something not their fists, it's these two
- wanda has no enhanced strength or durability? she's a regular teenager who's a bit witchy. the first time she got thrown through a glass door should have shattered her vertebrae. again i don't understand why we insist that everybody must have the same powers and capabilities when it's clear they don't. think about how much more interesting it would be if some avengers were more fragile than others and had to be given accommodations as such
- IT IS INCONCEIVABLE TO ME THAT FUCKING BLACK WIDOW (regular human), CAPTAIN AMERICA (enhanced human), AND FALCON (regular human with wings) CAN DEFEAT THE CHILDREN OF THANOS WHEN THOR COULDN'T UNLESS THOR (god of fucking thunder carved of steel and stone) WAS NERFED
- still don't understand how we'll lend aliens afro features but not afro hair, like, seriously? you're gonna dream up green aliens with gills who look like black people but imagining them with black hair is a step too far?
- the gap of commentary in this liveblog is simply because i do not care at all for the galaxy defenders
- "earth just lost her best defender" who? who does captain america consider earth's best defender? it's not thor; he doesn't know thor's presumed dead. it's not tony; he doesn't know tony's on an alien anus. who else has died so far?
- love how exhausted bucky looks. have always loved how exhausted bucky looks. love bucky.
- i forgot that tony was with peter parker. god i hate that.
- "i'm peter btw"
"dr strange"
"oh you're using the made up names then. i'm spider man"
ok that was cute, but peter's cute, we knew that already
- i want to fling both strange and stark into space and i'm having a hard time deciding which one to push first
- "you went to bed hungry, scraping for scraps" oohhhh thanos is just anti-poor people, he would literally rather poor people be dead than struggle, i get it nowww
this is on brand for mcu
- oh my god thanos gets 2/6 stones by torturing siblings in front of other siblings, seriously? you couldn't come up with 6 different ways to find his stupid rocks you had to reuse one twice?
- which one of thor's friends was stabbed through the heart....? fandral??
- "if i don't get my vengeance what more could i lose" more like what else is there eh? what else is there for a king of no people but their vengeance?
- CANNOT BELIEVE THEY GAVE HIM BACK AN EYEBALL JESUS CHRIST IF YOU DIDN'T LIKE THOR RAGNORAK JUST SAY SO YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO FUCKING
VEHICLE FOR AUTHORITARIANISM, NOTHING IS ALLOWED TO CHANGE, FUCK YOUR CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT I GOT MINE
FUCK
- i do enjoy that thor is now science fiction rather than fantasy, i don't think anybody knew what to do with fantasy cos fantasy is again, ultimately about conservatism and the status quo. so i do like that we're embracing the new and boundless for whatever that's worth.
- marvel is a cesspool of toxic masculinity. at no point are characters allowed to actually feel anything because weakness is uncool i guess and therefore unmanful. like thor lost ALL OF HIS PEOPLE. fucking ALL of them. he watched his brother die in order to save him. he is not allowed a single fucking response of mourning. i don't care if he's pushing it back because revenge or whatever, this is the sort of grief that rules you, which will bring all your load bearing structures down to heel, and they let him do nothing; he does not even rage. perfect control. smooth witticisms. why. why aren't we allowed to see his sadness?
- yo i can't believe red skull is a scifi villain now lol space nazis for real
- OH MY GOD THEY WASHED BUCKY'S WIG AND IT LOOKS SO BAD
- michael b jordan was right btw wakanda is complicit in africa's exploitation
- i do LIKE black panther i guess in the way you technically like that cousin you met once when you were like 9 and never saw again?
i like how we have here in wakanda the sears tower (chicago), the batman building (nashville), and the gherkin (london)
- ok but like, presumably not a death cult super technologically advanced wakandans who are deffo made of human flesh and human blood still arm their people with spears
i mean unless wakanda is also a death cult
why is this chicks entire fucking face cgi'd she looks like a fucking cut scene video game character
- oh ok they have LASER spears, ok
so then why did they give bucky a fucking gun
- what is bucky supposed to be able to contribute here exactly, like fucking, again, he's spycraft isn't he? he's a one man, dead of night, operation go loud and then immediately silent kinda operation. why do they have him on the front lines of a fucking lock-step formation battle??
- "it will be the noblest ending in history" WHAT, FIRST COUNTRY TO EVER BE OVERUN BY ALIEN JACKALS??
- stormbreaker is just leviathan axe, somebody's said this already right
- omfg i'm so glad they're finally acknowledging that thor is OP as fuck and does not belong amongst the fucking squabbles of earth
-"titan was like most planets, too many mouths to feed not enough to go around, so i proposed a plan, dispassionate to rich and poor alike" JUST SAY YOU HATE POOR PEOPLE MCU. YOU CANNOT HAVE RICH AND POOR, YOU CANNOT HAVE DISPARITY, YOU CANNOT HAVE SOME WITH TOO MUCH AND OTHERS WITH NOT ENOUGH AND CALL IT EXTINCTION. THAT IS NOT A QUESTION OF OVERTAXED RESOURCES THAT IS A QUESTION OF RESOURCE FUCKING MANAGEMENT. IT IS AN ARTIFICIAL CRISIS IF THERE EXISTS ENOUGH TO GO AROUND BUT SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST HOARDING IT THAT'S WHEN YOU KILL THOSE PEOPLE AND TAKE THEIR SHARE. KILLING HALF THE PEOPLE IS THE KIND OF FUCKING SOLUTION TO INEQUALITY THAT RICH PEOPLE COME UP WITH
GOD. ITS LIKE NONE OF YOU EVER READ
-you've got the big fucking boss in an ambush AND YOU ATTACK HIM WITH A MAGIC SWORD STEVEN STRANGE?????
THIS FRANCHISE HAS NO IDEA HOW TO UTILISE MAGIC USERS FUCKING HELL
- when will somebody please utilise ironman like the one man artillery he fucking is WHY IS HE FIGHTING WITH HIS STUPID FISTS HE IS LITERALLY ONE CONTINUOUS CARPET BOMB JUST USE HIM THAT WAY
cut of his arm CUT OFF HIS ARM YOU BLOODLESS SPINELESS USELESS FUCKING CUNTS . this is a manufactured crisis, KIND OF LIKE THE ONES THANOS LIKES I GUESS LOL
- dr strange could have very easily prevented or stopped quill from punching thanos but he didn't cos i guess even the movie forgets steven strange exists sometimes
- i like that the shield around wakanda has the same weakness as a poorly constructed chicken coop -- you always build into the ground a couple feet to stop the diggers man, come on, what is this, your first energy shield?
- oh disgusting, a girl boss moment. whatever you're all fascists.
- nobody adores martial might like fascists do fucking change my mind
- " avengers: not one person in this fucking cast is able to stomach ANY AMOUNT of personal sacrifice" more like
- "why did you give away the time stone?" "we are in the endgame" THAT'S NOT AN ANSWER THAT'S A FUCKING MOVIE TEASER FUCK YOU
- why didn't strange just trap thanos in a timeloop again? we've already established that is a perfectly acceptable way to deal with planetary annihilation. IS IT POSSIBLY BECAUSE NOBODY ON THIS WRITING STAFF KNOWS HOW TO DEAL WITH MAGIC
- THOR OP BLIZZARD PLS NERF
-CAPTAIN MARVEL SERIOUSLY THAT'S WHO YOU'RE GONNA SEND YOUR LAST PAGE TO JESUS FUCKING DISGUSTING

The red to my grey, part one (Peter Parker)
Pairing: Peter Parker x Reader, Soulmate AU!
Warnings: None so far
Word count: 1871
Summary: Meeting your soulmate should be a magical experience, something like in a movie. Peter doesn’t expect his soulmate to walk through the door on a typical Monday. He also doesn’t expect it when you don’t share that magical moment with him.
A/N: This is probably the first time that I actually update when I said I would update, woohoo! I’m getting better at this! Uhm so this series is still for the wonderful @candycornparker and amazing @spideypeach‘s writing challenge (Tell me if you don’t want me to tag you anymore, because I don’t know how many parts this is gonna be;) So this part is not so good, but ... Yeah, I don’t have any excuses. Happy reading! ~Liz
prologue part one part two part three
Peter Parker didn’t expect much to happen that day.
Some boring classes, Flash being a dick, Ned fanboying about his last night activities as Spiderman … He was tired anyway, so maybe he hoped that nothing much would happen.
Everything went all right – as all right as high school could be, that was -, but then it was lunch break, and his spidey senses were tingling. He probably should’ve paid more attention to it, but this was high school, which meant that danger was around every corner. It probably was just Flash about to call him ‘Penis Parker’ again.
Ned was rambling about the Star Wars movie he’d seen last night, when MJ appeared. Peter didn’t really know how it had happened, but Michele had become one of his best friends in a short time, even though it seemed like she could say nothing but sarcastic remarks. He liked that about her, though, she wasn’t afraid to say what she thought. She was the complete opposite of Ned, because she kept him with his feet on the ground. And he maybe needed that sometimes.
“So, guys, there’s a new girl at school and I’ve said she could sit with us.” Michele said it as if it was the most normal thing in the world, but both Peter and Ned knew better. It wasn’t like her to casually invite new people over.
She just took a bite from her sandwich when she noticed the boys staring at her. “What? She seems cool.”
A big smile appeared on Ned’s face. “I trust your judgement, MJ.” The girl threw him a weird look, to which Ned answered with an only bigger smile. Peter hadn’t known it was even possible.
His spidey senses started tingling right when Michele looked up. “Oh, there she is!” A genuine smile appeared on her lips, something both boys weren’t used to see on their friend. About just as much as seeing MJ waving to the person behind them.
When Peter turned around, the first thing he noticed were your eyes, that were anxiously looking around. The second thing was how your mouth curved into a small smile when you saw Michele, and how you trembled a little, nervous to be in this totally new environment.
It was only when he looked into your eyes again, that he noted something new. Your eyes didn’t look grey, like Ned’s or MJ’s, but he saw a twinkle and … a colour, only he didn’t know which colour he was looking at yet. But he didn’t mind, because it was the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen in his life. His eyes grew wide with understanding once he noticed that not only you, but everything else was suddenly so much brighter than it was before.
“Dude! Stop staring!” Ned pokedhim with his elbow, his excitement making the nudgea little too hard. But Peter didn’t care, because he didn’t feel like he could focus on anything other than the girl in front of him. You were the most beautiful person he’d ever seen, and maybe that was just because you were the first person he’d seen in colour. Or maybe he was a little biasedbecause you were his soulmate …
His soulmate. You were his soulmate.
“Ned.” Peter tried to tap his friend on the shoulder, but it was as if he couldn’t get his eyes of you, so he ended up patting him on the head instead. He didn’t care. “It’s her, Ned. It’s her!”
“What?”
“Boys.” MJ interrupted Ned, who Peter was sure was looking at him with confusion written over his face. Peter didn’t look, though, because his eyes were trained on the girl who was now standing in front of them, shy smile plastered on her pretty face.
“This is Y/N Y/L/N, she’s with me in English Literature.”
You felt your cheeks grew red at MJ’s introduction, even though there was literally nothing to be ashamed over. Both boys in front of you seemed sweet enough, although the one on the right was staring quite a bit at you. You dismissed it with a shake of your head and gave them a little wave. “Hi, I’m Y/N.”
You could mentally slap yourself. That was literally the first thing your new friend had said about you. “But of course you know that already, since Michele just told you.”
Way to go, Y/N. Way to make new friends!
But they didn’t seem to notice how awkward you felt. No, the boy on the left had the biggest smile on his face and waved cheerful before extending a hand to you. “Hi, I’m Ned!” He told you as you took his hand. If he shook your hand only a bit harder, you were sure it would fall right off.
The other boy didn’t react, he kept staring at you. It was starting to get a little uneasy, but then MJ slapped his arm and the boy shook up. With wide eyes, he looked around. “Wha-“ From the corner of your eyes, you saw Michele roll her eyes and give him a hand sign in your direction. The boy quickly extendedhis hand towards you. “I’m – I’m Peter. Sorry, I was …“ He narrowed his eyes as he studied your face, searching for something. “- a little … distracted.”
“Hi.” You answered him with a small smile and went to sit down next to Michele. How could you blame the boy – Peter – for not being completely here with his thoughts? That was something you easily did all the time.
And these people seemed nice. Maybe your time on this school would be better than on your last one.
Hopefully.
How could it be that he saw colours, but you didn’t?
Peter had studied your face for minutes now, and you showed no sign that you’d just met your soulmate. No indication of seeing colour – none.
How?
“So, why did you change schools, Y/N?” It was MJ who’d asked the question, and Peter honestly couldn’t remember when was the last time she’d been this interested in someone. Although he must admit that he was pretty interested himself. Even if you weren’t his soulmate and him seeing colours was just an accident or a fault from the universe, you still seemed like an amazing person. He wanted to know more about you.
“Euhm –“ You were hesitant to answer the question, that much was obvious. But that didn’t take long. “My parents thought it’d be better to change schools, they think I’d be better prepared for university here.”
The words came out smoothly. As if you’d been prepared for that question, and had repeated the answer way too much in your head.
Peter himself hadn’t said much yet to contribute to this conversation, but the mystery that surrounded you intrigued him. Maybe he could get more answers by just asking, instead of searching for them in your gorgeous eyes.
“So, Y/N.” He cleared his throat, to ask her why– why she didn’t seem astonished upon seeing him. Because she should’ve been, right? Seeing colours was not an everyday thing, it was special. Right?
You were looking at him with expectant eyes, he noticed then. And immediately decided he couldn’t ask what he wanted to know so badly. Because maybe you just didn’t want him to be your soulmate.
“So are you thinking about joining the decathlon team?”
“Hey bro, what’d you think about that new girl?” Ned had been excited all day, and Peter suspected it was because he loved meeting new people. Somehow, where Peter was anxious, Ned was physically incapable of having any negative feelings.
School had just ended and Ned had decided to come home with him, y’know, for some ‘guy in the chair’-business. Since aunt May had found out about his Spiderman-secret, she was so much more protective than she’d ever been before. But somehow she trusted him more when Ned was there to help him, because if Ned wanted to be the enthusiastic one, then Peter had to be the responsible one. Which made him hopefully much more careful. Her words.
And of course Mr. Stark was there to help him, too. Ned had now access to his personal number too if he ever needed it, because apparently even Mr. Stark trusted him more when Ned was by his side.
Which he was not sure was a compliment, or if he should feel a little offended by.
“Hey, man, what’s wrong?” Ned poked him, but real worry overtook his features. “You’ve been absent all day!”
Peter shook his head lightly. “It’s nothing, Y/N just confuses me a little.” It was not only that, he’d been completely distracted in every single class for the fact that he could see colours now. He didn’t know if was really a fault of the system, but for as long as he could see this new world, he wanted to take it in as much as he could. Although he had to admit it was also very much overwhelming.
“Yeah, that was really obvious.” Ned’s voice made Peter jump out of his daydreams – he had those a lot today – and look at his friend in bewilderment. Ned went on, he probably hadn’t even noticed that Peter’s thoughts had been wandering again. “Bro, you’re so smitten by her, it’s almost embarrassing. You’ve been staring at her the whole day!”
“No! No, I haven’t!” He was quick to defend himself, but he realised that he really had been staring at you a lot.
“Yeah, you have!” A smug look adorned his friend’s face, like always when he was certain he figured something out. “What, is she your soulmate or something?”
He had said it jokingly, but Peter only looked at him with determined eyes, a look that could not be misunderstood, not even by Ned. And yeah, Ned’s eyes widened almost immediately in understanding.
“She is?!”
“I don’t know, Ned!” Frustration coated Peter’s voice. “I started seeing colours when I saw her, but she doesn’t show any sign of seeing colours too! It’s confusing!”
“You can see colours.” It was as if Ned hadn’t understood a thing of what he just said, because he was staring at him in something that was almost close to awe. He had that same face when he’d found out about Spiderman. “You can see colours!”
Peter chuckled. Even if nothing seemed to go the way it had to, Ned’s excitement always managed to cheer him up, even just a little bit. “Yeah bro, that’s what I’m telling you.”
A big smile accompanied the enthusiastic look in his dark brown eyes. “Then am I really wearing red? Or is it not red? What does red look like? Did you hear music when you saw her, like in movies? Cause that would be so cool!”
“I don’t know!” Again, he chuckled, then tried to answer his best friend’s question as well as he could. Describing colours actually helped him not to think about Y/N for a while.
Maybe that had been Ned’s intention all along.
As if he sensed it, Ned looked up at Peter and threw him a reassuring smile. “Don’t worry, bro, I’m gonna find out for you tomorrow.”

Soulmates... I think (Scott McCall) Part 3
PART 1 PART 2 PART 3
@lotte142 // @minnie-boss17
last part!! this was my first multi-part story and it was so successful… i’m really happy, so thank you
ps. i skipped the fighting scene because i was just too lazy to write it lol (i wanted some fluff)
warning(s): some words and mention of blood
Scott’s POV
“I mean, the scene where they are in the Millennium Falcon and…”
Most of the pack has gone their separate ways for the night after our little yogurt break and I am now sitting on Stiles’s couch listening to him rant about Star Wars. As I am letting my eyes close, exhausted, I feel a sharp pain in my temple. “Ow, what the,” I put my fingers to the spot and feel nothing there.
“Dude, what is it?” Stiles stops and turns to me, interested in my outburst.
“Nothing really, I just felt something on the side of my head.”
“What, like a spider? Scott, just wipe it off. Anyway-”
“No, like I got hit with something. I can’t explain it, really.”
“Okay, what are you thinking?” He scrunches his eyebrows and rubs his chin slightly. Leaning forward, he waits for my answer in anticipation.
Right away, I can sense that she is in danger. “Stiles, something is off. I think it has to do with my soulmate. I think she’s in trouble.” I glance at him to see if his face gives away whether or not he thinks I’m being ridiculous. His eyes squint a little.
“What, your spidey-senses are tingling?” I knew he would find comedy in this and I give him a look that shows I am being serious. “Alright, I’m kidding. If you feel strongly, then let’s go check on her. She might still be at work.” He heads for the door and then pauses when he sees I haven’t moved from my seat. “Dude, let’s go. Chop-chop. I don’t have all night.”
“What am I gonna say? ‘I know I was here today with my friends, but I came back to see if you were in danger.’ She’s going to hate me more than she does already.” He shakes his head.
“Not if she really needs your help, but you have to make up your mind about her. Do you want to be in her life and admit you see color now or do you want to continue pretending she’s just another stranger? Because if you choose Option B, we have to act now. If not, you can brush it off as someone else’s problem.” Damn, I hate when he makes a good point.
I take a deep breath and think about my choices, although I know deep down what is right. “Let’s go” and with that, we head out.
When we pull up to the shop, I can tell she has left because the lights are out and the place looks barren. “Now what?” Stiles asks and without answering, I open the passenger window of the jeep and search for her scent. Even though I don’t have any possession of hers and we have never really been in close proximity for more than a few minutes, I will never forget the way she smells - soft, like roses, with a hint of lavender and something that has no name, but just smells like her. She is my soulmate, after all, I have memorized everything about her that I could get just from watching her during Bio and seeing her in the halls.
“She walked that way, straight for a little, but then, drive forward.” I wait while he shifts the gears and moves the car to an intersection a few blocks back from the main road. Here, it is quiet and dark, with shrubs and overgrowth filling parts of the sidewalk. “Stop. This is where her scent changes. It becomes riddled with fear. Someone else was here with her. I can smell another person, I just don’t know who it is. I think they hurt her.” Stiles asks me to tell him where to go next and I admit that I don’t know. “Her scent gets muddled and eventually disappears. The other person, their scent fades too, but I think I can follow it. Call Malia, we might need some help. We need to find her tonight.”
end of Scott’s POV
I stir and groan and move my head, instantly regretting it. It is pounding and every little shuffle and squeak I hear is magnified. It’s almost like… well, like someone hit me right in the temple. Great. Coming to full consciousness, I open my eyes and twist my wrists, which I see are tied to the wooden chair I am sitting on. As I suspected, my ankles are the same. I have no idea where I am and the setting doesn’t ring any bells - concrete floors and walls, small dingy windows, exposed pipes that drip puddles on the floor, and big metal lights that swing from the ceiling. As I am looking around, the full gravity of the situation hits me like a truck. I am being held God-knows-where and no one even knows I’m missing.
“Hel-” My cry for help is interrupted as my voice cracks and my throat burns. Regardless, I try again and keep yelling, until I hear a loud bang. I look into the shadows and a man approaches, knife in hand. Tears spring to my eyes, but I keep them from falling so he doesn’t have the upper hand. “What the hell do you want from me?” Thankfully, my voice is strong and steady, despite my heart beating 300 times a minute and sweat gathering on my back and along my hairline.
He says nothing, but I will myself to hold his gaze. I don’t know if it’s because I am injured or I haven’t had a drink in what seems like years, but his eyes blaze blue, before returning to dark brown. It’s crazy to me that although he and Scott have eye color in common, there is so much evil and hatred in this man’s eyes where Scott’s are soft and safe. It makes my arm hairs stand on end. I try again. “Why are you holding me here?”
“Word around town is that you are Scott McCall’s soulmate. Any truth to that?” He sneers, raising his eyebrows to hear my response.
“How do you know Scott?”
“Answer the question, bitch.” Lie. Lie your way out of this.
“No, I’m sorry. You have the wrong person. I know Scott from school, but he and I are strangers.”
He gives me a wicked grin, showing his rotten teeth and laughs like he knows something I don’t. My stomach churns at the knife reflecting the minimal light in the room. “Wrong answer, little girl. You said so yourself, you saw color when you first saw Scott.” How does he know this? He wasn’t in the shop when I admitted that. I would remember someone as ugly and terrifying as he is. “I don’t usually give second chances, but you’re oh so pretty, so I’ll ask another question. Better give me an answer I’ll be satisfied with or else you’ll regret it. Ready?” A tear escapes and I nod. “Good. Now, where is Scott?”
Oh shit. Nothing I say is going to result in anything good. “I don’t know.”
“What? Speak up.”
“I said I don’t know. What do you even think you’re going to accomplish from holding me here? Scott doesn’t see color. He said so himself.” At this point, all my composure has left and I am essentially begging for my life.
He clicks his tongue and shakes his head. “I had really hoped you would be honest, but since you don’t want to cooperate, I’ll have to punish you.” He takes a few steps towards me, still holding the knife, and I start squirming, trying desperately to break free from these rough ties and run for the rusted door he entered from. “It will hurt less if you just stay still. Really, it’s up to you.” Without more warning than that, he drags the knife down my leg, blood immediately rushing to the surface. A scream rips up my throat and pierces the otherwise quiet room as pain blossoms in my thigh. He puts a hand to his lips and wipes the knife on his dirty jeans before starting in again.
Scott’s POV
“Did you hear that?” Stiles, Malia, and I freeze as we hear a loud scream.
Malia’s brown eyes find mine and she simply says, “It’s her.” They both wait for my plan, but the thing is, I haven’t thought this far ahead. I was so caught up in tracking the person who took her that I didn’t actually plan how to get her back.
“Um, okay, I know this sounds crazy-”
I am interrupted by another scream and then I hear something that makes my stomach drop. She says my name. She calls for me to help her. Suddenly, my head clears and I know what I had to do.
“Malia and Stiles, go hide by those trees. I am going to lure this person out and then you go in and get her out.”
Stiles put his hand on my shoulder. “No way. We aren’t leaving you. We don’t even know how many there are. What if-”
“There’s only one scent besides hers.” Malia interrupts so matter-of-factly that Stiles just accepts it.
He sighs deeply. “I don’t like this, Scott. Just be careful.” With that, they jog to the tree line and wait. In order for the captor to hear me, I wolf out and let out a howl, ready to fight.
end of Scott’s POV
I let out one last scream as my body shutters from the pain and the exhaustion. I can’t gather myself enough to scream again. “Please,” I whisper, “he isn’t coming. Let me go and I won’t say anything. I promise.” At this point, my legs and arms are covered in small cuts and I have a deeper one in my side, the last of his work.
“You know what? I don’t think I will. But as a little punishment to Scott for letting you out of his sight, I’m gonna make you regret the day you were born. If I can’t get to him, I’ll just kill you and leave your body somewhere it will be found. When it’s on the news, he will know your blood is on his hands.” I whimper, prepared for the blinding pain to hit, but he drops the knife and steps back. I lay my head back, thinking he is leaving.
Sadly for me, I hear a deep growl and his eyes blaze blue again. Fur begins to grow on the sides of his face, his nails get longer, and big teeth protrude from his mouth. I scream as the sheer terror makes the blood pumping through my veins go ice cold. “You’re a-” Before I can finish, I hear a howl coming form outside this horrible place and the thing in front of me laughs.
“I guess he did decide to show up.” He turns and runs, banging the metal door open in the process. Not five seconds later, two of Scott’s friends that I recognize from the yogurt shop run in and begin to untie me. However, when I try to stand, my legs give out and my vision blurs before fading to black.
I am in and out of consciousness for a while before finally coming to. Before even opening my eyes, I can tell I am in a hospital - the strong smell of cleanser and the beeps of the machine. I turn my head to the side and open my eyes to be met with the baby brown ones I will never forget. I smile a little before remembering everything that has happened and how he was the cause.
“Scott, please leave. I don’t want to see you.” His bright eyes dim slightly and he genuinely looks hurt, which makes me sad, even though it was my intent. “You are the reason I am here. How did you get in here, anyway? You’re not family.”
“My mom is a nurse here and she let me in to explain everything to you. Just hear me out” I scoff and shuffle in the hard bed, turning my back to him.
“I don’t really care to hear your excuses. Leave me alone.” I feel a gentle brush on my shoulder and Scott looks at me pleadingly. I turn back to him, sitting up. I can’t resist those eyes, they will forever be my weakness. “Make it quick.”
“Thank you.” He gives a soft smile and takes my hand. “I just want to apologize for everything you went through. It was all my fault and if I had just been honest with you and with myself, none of this would have happened. That man back there? He was using you to get to me because… well, because I’m an Alpha. A werewolf.”
“I know.”
“I- wait, you know?”
“When I saw him change and when I heard your howl, I knew and it doesn’t bother me. I’ll admit, I’m slightly terrified, but you saved me and I am grateful for that. I’m sorry I’ve been such a bitch to you. After all, it isn’t your fault nothing changed when you met me. I am slowly learning to let it go and I hope someday you find someone who shows you vibrant the world is.“
“Well, that’s what I wanted to talk to you about. I do see color. I have since we met. I can see your beautiful eyes and the brown freckles that pepper your cheeks. I can see the purple design on that hospital gown and how your brown hair is up in a red tie. I can see it all. And before you say anything, I have a question. Do you think we can just start over?”
I smile and a tear comes down my cheek and onto my neck, wetting the neckline of my gown. “Of course, I would love that.” He smiles to show his perfect white teeth and clears his throat.
“Hi, I’m Scott.”
I giggle at how beautiful he is. “Nice to meet you, Scott. Now, I don’t mean to rush things, but we’re soulmates… I think.” He nods and leans closer to me like he has a secret to share. I can see my future in his eyes.
“Yes. Yes, we are.”
The end.

After catching her husband in a compromising position, the last thing that Finley Granger wants is to enter the insanity that is the dating world. She’s dealing with enough upheaval: she’s quit her job as a journalist in Atlanta to start over as a librarian in the backwoods town of Green Valley, Tennessee. But her grandmother has other ideas. When GramBea teams up with her sister, Dot, and their best friend, Estelle, Finley finds herself surrounded by a trio of well-meaning yet incredibly bumbling matchmakers.
In spite of their efforts, there’s only one man she’s curious about, and that’s Zeke Masters, the library’s volunteer IT specialist. Sure, he’s 6’4”, impossibly built, ridiculously good-looking, and gets her nether regions tingling. However, it’s the tingle of her journalist spidey-senses that holds her attention most as she wonders why he’s on sabbatical from Seattle. Is he on the lam, or on the run from a bad relationship?
As Finley finds herself reluctantly drawn to the gorgeous IT guy, she can’t help but wonder: should she indulge in a little rebound fun with the mysterious Zeke – or has she finally met her match?

MY THOUGHTS
Can I just say… I’m am loving ALL the Green Valley Library reads in the Smarty Pants Romance Series. Who knew a library in small-town Tennessee could be so fun! LOL.
Katie always takes me on a literary ride that I don’t want to hop off. I loved this book about a woman- Finley Granger, who is trying to redefine herself and open herself up to the one thing that she now knows was missing in her life… LOVE. After catching her husband in an affair, she decides to move in with her Grandmother, Godmother and Great Aunt. Let the fun begin.
There were moments… OH MY was I ever laughing so hard. I was reading at my son’s football practice and got some good stares. I just couldn’t stop laughing. And HOLY HOTNESS – Zeke Masters ticked off everything I love in a hero. I feel all of us can find a little bit of Finley in ourselves and my heart hurt for her and all that she was going through. But ZEKE!!!! Well, he makes it all better!
A super fun read! Loved it so much. It can totally be read as a standalone – but I highly recommend all the books in the Series!

MY THOUGHTS
I couldn’t really make just one book as my top reads because this duet is just that a Duet. You must read book one to get book two. And let me tell you these books blew me away.
This was my first read from Monica and it absolutely blew me away. There isn’t much I can say about the books without giving away the whole plot. But these books have so many twists and turns, you won’t want to put the book down until you’ve read them both!.
#SecondChanceRomance
Love at first sight.
That’s what it was when Rip Myers came up to me in kindergarten. From that point on, we were inseparable best friends.
When I work up the courage to tell Rip I love him, I am met with rejection. He tells me he treasures our friendship too much. That statement might as well be a knife to my heart.
I want to hold out hope that he’ll change his mind.
Instead, he moves on.
The only choice I have is to pretend that doesn’t slay me.
So, I say yes…to the man I love. But he isn’t the man I’ve been in love with nearly my entire life.

MY THOUGHTS
Let me just say that I get giddy anytime a Kelly Elliott book hits my eReader. And this book was one of my most anticipated! If you haven’t read Kelly, she writes amazingly epic family saga, Texas romance novels.
This book was special because we got to see a next-generation from the Cowboys and Angels series – all grown up. But don’t let that stop you from reading this book, because the book can be read without having read the previous books.
I had some truly big laugh out loud moments and this book was so much fun. I highly recommend this series and any series by Kelly.
When I read one of Kelly’s books I feel like I’m home. I sink into her books and just relish each moment I have with these characters.

It started out like any normal day.
Then the fender bender happened.
The guy I collided with drove an expensive car and was drop-dead gorgeous. Too bad he was also a total jerk. We argued over whose fault it was and any other thing that came out of his condescending mouth.
Eventually, the police came and we went our separate ways. The insurance companies would have to figure things out. I had a job interview to get to anyway—one I was excited about.
Though that excitement changed to disappointment the moment the person interviewing me walked in. The guy from the accident.
Whoops!
Yeah, so I didn’t get the position.
The problem was, I really wanted it. No, I needed it. Anything to get me out of my current career and back into working with kids.
So, even though Hollis LaCroix was as intimidating as he was devastatingly handsome, I went back to see him and begged for a chance.
To my surprise, he gave me a shot taking care of his troubled niece.
At least my attraction to him wouldn’t be able to go anywhere. I wasn’t about to jeopardize my job or the strong bond Hailey and I formed.
But resisting the magnetic pull between us wasn’t that simple. (Then there was our little underwear game—don’t ask.)
We continued to flirt without crossing the line—until it finally happened.
This is the part of the story where we fall in love and live happily ever after, right?
Well, life has a way of throwing some major curveballs.
Ours was one I didn’t see coming.

MY THOUGHTS
Hands down one of the best books yet from this dynamic duo. They just have the right recipe for a book that will have you laughing one minute and ripping your heart out the next.
Hollis and Elodie (Ok I admit, it took me waaaaayyyyy too long to figure out how to pronounce her name – Was it E LO DEE or Melolie without the M — ARRRGH) were the perfect match and I kinda figured out the big twist a little early on… but even with all of that, this book was still perfection.
Hollis is a workaholic, love scorned, douchcanoe. He needs to find a nanny to help him with his 11-year-old niece, whom all of a sudden is living with him after her dad was placed in prison.
Elodie needs a change in her career. She thinks that she would be the perfect match for Hollis’ niece Hailey since she grew up in a similar situation. She’s also love scorned and has sworn off men. At least until she meets Hollis.
The banter and sexual tension between these two are OFF THE CHARTS. I was crying laughing at the games these two would play and I just couldn’t put the book down.
5 PLUS STARS!!! I’m an addict for these two when they collaborate and hope this never ends!

What happens when the cute mountain man you made out with, in an ice fishing shack turns out to be your brother’s best friend?
A whole lot of awkward, that’s what.
Maggie’s mind is reeling when she discovers the guy she became tangled up with at Marv’s Bait & Tackle isn’t a stranger like she thought.
The big snag: Sam and Maggie’s chemistry is hot enough to melt ice, which makes keeping their secret far more difficult than either expected.
Especially when one of them decides they want this arrangement to be more than just a catch and release.

MY THOUGHTS
This was an audible read for me. This book was fantastic. First off, Amy Daws is hilarious. Her words keep me laughing and smiling and I was crazy about this book. Second, the audio actors were amazing! I usually hate when the actors have to go from their voices to those of the opposite sex but Erin and Teddy did a great job of not annoying me with horrible transitions. LOL. And speaking of the actors – I fell in love with this story because it was so well performed.
Sam meets a girl in the bait shop that is obviously off her rocker. But she’s cute and funny and so he decides to help her on her quests to become less “plain” and more exciting for her ex-boyfriend whom she knows will soon become hers again once she shows him how adventurous she can be. What Sam never expected was that Maggie was really Megan, his best friend’s little sister who still thinks she’s with her “boyfriend”.
Sparks fly between Sam and Maggie and soon she finds that Sam is maybe a more perfect fit for her than the ex.
This book kept me rolling in laughter and I loved it so much. If you are looking for an entertaining, hilarious listen or read- then this is the book for you.

What Are You To Me? || Part 3
Hoseok // Soulmate AU
Part 1 ... Part 2
Word Count: 2,340
Warning(s): Mild language (Cursing)
Hoseok’s POV
As the days and weeks went by, Hoseok found himself thinking of his Enemy constantly, much to his confusion. Hate was a strong feeling, just as strong as love, and perhaps that was why Hoseok’s mind continually wandered to the person he supposedly hated. But there was no animosity in his thoughts, only an ever-present discomfort that something was not quite right in the world. It was beginning to show, it seemed, since his friends kept sending him concerned looks every time he thought about his Enemy and her Soulmate; he found himself frowning heavily more often, too.
It wasn’t until one group dinner where Taehyung finally brought his Soulmate, Aera, to be introduced to them that Hoseok realized what it could all possibly mean.
“And Hoseok hyung has been weirdly grumpy for weeks now! It doesn’t make sense - Enemies don’t make you feel grumpy!” Taehyung cried during his monologue about how his favorite hyung (he loved all his hyungs, of course, but Hoseok was Hoseok) barely ever paid him attention anymore after the Bump and Run.
“He’s right,” Yoongi agreed, “you’ve been down a lot more recently. What’s been eating you, Seokseok?”
Hoseok would usually fake gag at the endearment, but tonight he just heaved a great sigh and slumped down in his seat. “I don’t even know! I just feel so uncomfortable all the time!” he wailed. Namjoon, never the best at comforting, awkwardly patted Hoseok’s back.
“Uncomfortable?” wondered Jin. “That’s definitely not a normal reaction to meeting your Enemy. And it wouldn’t last so long either unless you see them constantly…”
Yoongi and Namjoon, the only two so far (aside from Hoseok) to have met their Enemies (Enemy, actually, because it was the same person - it was how they became closer, funnily enough) nodded.
“Usually, seeing or thinking about your Enemy causes you to get angry or upset. How much depends on whatever past history you have with them,” said Namjoon.
“You remember what happened that time we had to deal with that asshole Jonggoo?” growled Yoongi. Everyone else except Aera winced; that was not a good week for the group, what with getting Namjoon to stop moping and keeping Yoongi from trying to find stuff for blackmail. And, apparently, Jonggoo’s Enemy tattoo was neither of their names so he really was just a dick who had nothing better to do in his life than infuriate people. Point was, people tried not to think about their Enemies at all if possible.
“But still!” Hoseok insisted. “She said - almost screamed, really - that we were Enemies. And she was with this big buff guy already and he was staring me down like he was her boyfriend which he probably was ‘cause it looked like they had just finished a lunch date so they’re probably Soulmates which has to mean that she and I are really Enemies…”
The table was silent following their friend’s word vomit. No one was sure what to say and decided to let Hoseok cool down a bit. A few deep breaths later, he sat up straight again and calmly asked a wide-eyed Jungkook, “Pass the japchae?”
The rest of the evening was spent getting to know Aera (to whom Hoseok apologized for giving a rather unfortunate first impression) until Taehyung said he was going to escort her home. Hoseok left not long after, but not before Jimin gave him a tight hug.
Over the following week, Hoseok kept thinking about what the others had told him about usual Enemy interactions. He wasn’t feeling angry or upset in any way when he thought about his Enemy, there was a strange niggling half-thought floating around in his mind, and he was thinking about her much, much more than one would usually think about their Enemy.
But why was he uncomfortable thinking about his Enemy? From what he remembered, and from Jin’s account, she hadn’t done anything that Hoseok would find uncomfortable. And now that he thought about it more, he wasn’t feeling the kind of discomfort that came after something like having your personal space invaded or having strangers on the street look at you weirdly because you were being yelled at by your Enemy. No… it was a feeling closer to nausea, or maybe trying to breathe in thin air.
When Hoseok called his sister for her opinion, she asked, “Do you feel that way when you think of her?”
“No…” he answered slowly.
“Then what about if you think about her boyfriend?” she prompted.
Hoseok’s lip curled in disgust when a memory of the man’s vaguely smug face flitted through his mind. When he didn’t answer his sister right away, she made a sound of realization and added, “What if you think of them together?”
“Definitely feeling a bit nauseous, noona,” Hoseok replied as he began to nervously tap his foot. His sister chuckled softly, and just as he was about to complain about her lack of seriousness, she spoke.
“You’re so silly, Hoseok… Don’t you see? She can’t be your Enemy if you don’t hate her, if you don’t feel any sort of negative emotions about her alone. I don’t think you could anyway, you’re too kind for that. No, no, you just don’t like her boyfriend.”
“But I don’t even know that guy!” Hoseok exclaimed. “And he didn’t do anything bad to me, so what reason do I have to dislike him?”
“I think you’re jealous.” Hoseok swore he heard a faint smirk in his sister’s voice. “You have her name, and she has yours. Soulmates or Enemies? It doesn’t seem like she’s your Enemy, so that leaves you with…”
“Soulmate,” breathed Hoseok. His mind whirled with this realization. It was possible - entirely possible - that she had mixed the two up. His heart thumped in his chest as a sudden mix of warm and cold spread throughout his body from opposite sides, starting from his wrists. He looked down to see the only name he had - his Soulmate’s - was taking on hints of color around the edges of the solid black characters. His other, empty wrist, meanwhile, had a strikethrough where a name would have been if he had an Enemy.
“Hoseok, you okay? You’ve gone really quiet,” said his sister; Hoseok had forgotten she was still on the line.
He took a deep breath and replied, “Yeah, I’m fine, noona. I just… My tattoo just - it has colors now…”
He heard a sharp intake of breath from his sister. “You lucky kid. But I should have known. You better tell her soon, or it’s just going to be a big mess - especially since she’s dating someone who isn’t her Soulmate.” Some voices in the background suddenly called for her and she groaned. “Damn, I forgot… Hoseok, I’ve really gotta go right now, but call me tomorrow if you need to, okay? Bye, little bro.”
The siblings hung up and Hoseok stared at his wrist. As much as he wanted to run through the city in hopes of bumping into his Soulmate and showing her his tattoo, he couldn’t. She had seemed to really like the guy, so suddenly appearing to shove his wrist in her face would do nothing more than upset her. No, it was probably best to wait for now and hope that they would meet again and have a calm conversation where he could bring the Soulmate mix-up thing up.
He could wait, Hoseok was sure. Soulmates usually found each other and with his colored tattoo... they were rare, and while unconfirmed, seemed to belong to Soulmates who developed unusually strong bonds.
Hoseok traced the lines of the name on his wrist with his eyes, and whispered to himself, “My Soulmate… I’ll wait for you. I’ll wait until the day you realize that I’m yours.”
Your POV
The first few weeks of dating and getting to know each other were fun. There was the spontaneous trip to the beach that day that was abnormally warm for early spring, and the day at the arcade where the two of you competitively butted heads over childhood games. You made Sangin lunch one day (it was a tad too salty for him) and he returned the favor a week later (much too spicy for you, unfortunately), and while that hasn’t happened again for fear of assulted taste buds, you two had a good laugh over it every once in a while.
You and Sangin, busy as you both were, could only spend time together one day a week, two at most. After two months, an agreement was made to try to go out more often, so dinners at each other’s apartments became more common. Those dates were nice, too. And that was all they were, you realized as your relationship approached its fourth month. Sure, there was hours and hours of pleasant conversation and a good amount of cuddling and quite a bit of kissing, but you felt almost... stagnant.
And much like the other times in your life when you had started to feel like you were trapped in a standstill, you withdrew in an attempt to figure out how and why such a thing happened. Sangin’s concern, while appreciated at first, soon began to grate on your nerves when he never seemed to understand why you were, in his words, acting like such a recluse when the weather was perfect for going out and having fun together.
To make matters worse, on some of the days when you weren’t feeling down and tense, you would sometimes spot your Enemy while he was out with his friends. Hoseok never approached you and only threw some indecipherable glances your way, but seeing him bothered you enough to make you uneasy. You tried talking to Sangin about it once, but his response didn’t help.
“Why are you so affected by the man? You bumped into each other once and nothing has happened since,” said Sangin offhandedly.
“Well, yeah, but whenever I see him, everything’s just telling me something’s wrong, so of course I’m bothered!” you nearly yelled in return.
Sangin rolled his eyes and scoffed quietly. “Wow, way to be vague - everything is telling you that something is wrong. Are your Spidey senses tingling? Does your Enemy look like he’s about to shoot killer light rays at you?”
Realizing that your boyfriend was not going to be helpful in the least, you shut up about the discomfort you felt whenever Hoseok was in your line of sight. (He sometimes wandered into your thoughts as well, but you were quick to shove him out of your head. No need to stress yourself out even more.) Unfortunately, your attempts at not acknowledging your Enemy were backfiring as the memory of his unhappy and tired expression from about two months ago kept sneaking its way past your mental blocks and, oddly, made you feel guilty.
The first big fight came a week before your six month anniversary.
If you were to be honest, you weren’t surprised it happened - it had been building up for a while now, like constantly increasing pressure in a container with no valves to relieve it. It certainly didn’t help that both of you had a tendency to become irritable quickly when exhausted, and the past week had been hectic to say the least.
“Can you just-? Will you just tell me what’s bothering you so much?” asked Sangin during a dinner at your apartment. “You’ve been quiet and gloomy for months now! And you’ve given me no reason for it at all!”
You pursed your lips a bit before taking a small bite of food. You took your time to chew and swallow the food, trying to give yourself time to come up with a civil answer (and not a rant with a slew of curse words thrown in about how you had given a reason).
“I have told you,” you started. “I mentioned it a few times before it became obvious that you didn’t take me seriously.”
Sangin raised an eyebrow in disbelief. “You mean that completely vague ‘something’s wrong and I’m sure it’s because of my Enemy that I interacted with all of one time’ thing? That’s what’s been bothering you for months now?”
“Yes! Why is that so hard to believe?” you cried, quickly giving up your attempt to stay calm. “For fuck’s sake, we have tattoos from some mystic whatever telling us who our Soulmates and Enemies are, and you can’t believe that I have a feeling that something’s off?”
“How am I supposed to help you then?” Sangin asked incredulously. “Do you want me to come up with every possible idea under the sun until you realize what’s wrong?”
You crossed your arms and fix him with a hard stare. “It’d be more than what you’ve done so far to help me.”
“That’s a ridiculous way to figure things out! We’d get nowhere, and we’d just be wasting a shit-ton of time!” he argued. “Besides, why are you even thinking of your Enemy? I’m your Soulmate, aren’t I?”
“I don’t know - have you been acting like a Soulmate lately? Maybe you’re onto some-”
“You know what? I just - I think I need to be away from you for a while,” Sangin said tiredly, interrupting you. “At least until you calm down and start thinking logically.” He quickly gathered his things and walked out without a single glance back at you, allowing the door to slam closed behind him.
You slumped down in your seat in exhaustion, internally berating yourself for spouting out whatever nonsense came to your head. As you replay the argument in your head, you stared listlessly in front of you and thought people must not like thinking about their initial struggles with Soulmates. That’s probably why no one had ever said anything.
A few minutes later (it felt like an hour to you, but the clock on the wall disagreed), you picked yourself up and started clearing away the remains of your unfinished dinner.
Things would fall into place soon, you were sure of it.

You guys might have read most of my previous post my ex-boyfriend existed. I have posted as well stuff about relationships (which if course did not apply to me before). To start it all we have been together for almost seven years, yes! SEVEN YEARS. I have met like 80% if his family tree, experienced all his family”s drama but he haven’t met all of mine. They never really liked him.
We have gone through a lot, and I mean a LOT. From lying to infidelity. To sneaking at night to changing nicknames on the phonebook. To making a secret account to publicly humiliating your partner. All those years we have been trapped in each others life going to a black hole.
In this blog I will not be giving advices but instead to learn from my mistakes.
I loved him to much that I shared my password to the point that he was the one logging in and checking my account. I didn’t give him boundaries because I thought that this would show how much I trust him. He even unfriended (if there is such a word) all my guys friends and I allowed him, in return I would do the same. Ended up with me discovering secret accounts he made so that he could still communicate with his girl friends
I cut my close friends off, even my own family because he doesn’t want me to. I spend all my time with him and missed out a lot of important events. My godchildren”s birthdays, friends’ birthdays and even family get togethers. I missed like 6 years of pure fun (seriously). I regretted it..
I felt like I had to be the man since I was the one working. I paid for all our everyday expenses from eating to watching a movie. Everytime I would buy things for myself I would usually end up buying for him as well because I would feel guilty pampering myself and not including him, to think this was my hard earned money. I would buy matchy accessories and pay for everything. Matching flipflops, matching clothes and martching watches. I even got apply for a plan so that he could have an Apple iPhone so that we’ll be phone twinning, lucky him. Which I regretted as well, I could have save that money for my future. I was blinded and thought that we were gonna end up with each other and soon when he gets a job, he’ll do the same. I was wrong, he graduated then broke up with me.
I loved him yet I was doubtful. I don’t want him going out without me. I did not trust his friends and mostly his sister, she was like the devil for me, someone who was all sweet and friendly at front but would stab you at the back (short story bout the sister, she blocked me from facebook becuase she stole my clothes and would use her brother for debt payment). I shoukd always be with him if he would be going to the mall or go clubbing (but it never stopped him). Doubting would actually lead to cheating. He cheated a hundred times and I did as well (thinking I should get even). I never really understood what made me stick with him when I can be with those other guys that would make me happy. Maybe it was the thought that I have placed so much effort in him that it would be a waste to just let go. I made awful decisions then.
Always follow your so called “women instinct”. A lot of times my instinct would tell me to just let him go, move on and eventually you’ll find someone better. I never did, we kept fighting about a lot of things. I woke up at 3 am one time coz my spidey senses were tingling (no joke). I felt something was not right. I went to his apartment and no one was there, my senses told me he’d be in the club. Waited outside a club (I forgot the name thought) til 6 am and saw him wrapped around another girl, with his friends and sister (rolls eyes). That was already an alert but I still chased him. I was pretty much stupid in love.
Learn to let go, you should know when to stop. Example 1, I caught him with another girl, we broke up after. He asked for anothere chance, I forgave him and we got back. Example 2, I caught him multiple times communicating with his exes, and not just those ordinary texts. I should’ve broke up with him but I thought I could still change him. Example 3, he chose to hang out and drink with my colleagues rather than be with me then eventually learned he was getting all kinky with my supervisor. When you are no longer happy, when you continuously experience this kind of situations you really need to let go. Don’t get all mushy with the memories you had, that doesn’t help. If guys aren’t mature enough to be with you then let go. You need a man not a boy.
So months before we were suppose to turn 7 he broke up with me. Told me that he does not want me anymore. Told me that he was tired of my attitude. Told me there was no third party involved. After a week I just heard from friends that he got engaged, got the girl pregnant and dunnow the rest.
That got me really down, I was deceived the whole time. I was miserable, I felt like we where in a competition, I lost and he won. But a part if me was relieved, I was actually happy we broke up for real, I felt free. My family was still there for me and my friends comforted me. I was happy!, I got to spend more time with my sisters.
I went out with my close friends and even went on vacations with them.
Met more people (some throught tinder, lol) and joined different activities. I even joined Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and I’m not even the athletic type.
Eventually found my soulmate. And the experience is nothing like I have gone through before. I get to be the happiest me when I’m with him, I get to feel pure love. I enjoy and never get bored with our nonstop conversations. I trusted him in everything he do, he never controls. He is like a ball of sunshine that gives warmth to every part of your body (you get what I mean). I have found my Man, who understands me, who is open to my thoughts. Who my family and friends loves because of his craziness, his humor. I found my best friend.
I Was Never Really Inlove Until Player You guys might have read most of my previous post my ex-boyfriend existed. I have posted as well stuff about relationships (which if course did not apply to me before).
