Downfall is a multi-fandom 18+ roleplay that takes place in its own afterlife universe. Characters from different worlds and settings have been brought to this limbo-like place after meeting their end in their own world. These characters may be brought in from any point of their life, meaning that their timeline may differ from that of a companion's.

The centre of our setting is Solace, a small, idyllic city surrounded by lush greenery that looks like a paradise, with one catch: if you’re here, you’re already dead. The realm in which Solace exists is the afterlife, where souls who have departed their own worlds may come to be. Whether or not they find peace is yet to be seen — Solace is bordered by tall, hazardous mountains, with no telling what could lie beyond.

"Oh thank Christ."

He just about melted when Danny spoke, a bubbly laugh spilled from him as he brought his boyfriend's finger upwards and slid the ring on, kissing it twice before he set down the box and watched him with twinkly eyes. He knew it was a good look for him, and a perfect fit too - he was grateful he was able to snag that ring size after they'd stayed upa bit too late one night. Robin perked when Danny spoke once more, that low gravelly voice confirming that he'd never leave the assistant made his heart clench tight within his chest.

"Aw, would you sneak through my window every night?" He chuckled, obviously now extremely giddy before he leaned in close to kiss him slowly, lovingly, chastely; "I might just leave my windows unlocked for you..." Robin crooned against his lips as he brushed his boy--fiance's hair back behind his ear, a bright smile crossed his lips as he pulled back to lay on their picnic blanket, another laugh leaving him.

"Oh! I had something else for you, think of it as an early birthday present!" He could barely contain his excitement now, he needed to tell everyone he loved, he needed to call Eve-- not now not now! Robin's smile was wide and bright as he slipped a small, but rather heavy box from their basket, offering it to Danny with kind eyes, "I know you were worried about your camera running low with how long you've had it so... I got you a little something."

"Oh-this uh, goes with it." Another small box, also pretty heavy. Robin gulped when he shifted, a brand new camera and a scope lay within the boxes, both semi expensive but not gaudy or one of those "best new in style" cameras that looked ridiculous. "Oh! And I have one more thing for you..." Before he handed him a card, "I spoke to Miss Evelynn and we've gotten you a membership for the Farm. So...You can use it if you need to, or if you need to bring anything in for your stories."

This shouldn't have come as a surprise. By all means- they had talked about this before. Several times in fact. On long walks at night in the park when Robin had a long day at work.... The way his boyfriend seemed so excited about it and how many times had the killer asked him if it's what he really wanted? The song bird was always sure. More enthusiastic every time the topic came up. How long had he been planning this? Was that why he'd been working so late... no he couldn't get in his head at least not now.

Danny looked more confused than anything looking down at Robin, but the confusion slowly faded the more the man spoke and was replaced with that same lazy smirk. A well practiced thing to hide the way his mind wandered and his anxieties reared their ugly head, things he thought he had killed long ago, but... he never really expected to fall in love. He expected to die alone or with someone he married for convience.

Not this.

Not wanting to spend your life next to someone so perfect and yet an anxious ball of nervous at any given moment, "Yes babe, I will." At least Robin seemed far more anxious about this than he did... or at least he hoped it didn't show visually, "Even if only for the taxes. I don't think you could stop me from waking up beside you every day even if you wanted to." He chuckled only pulling his hand away when the ring was placed on his finger and he could admire the gold in the sun. Letting the light reflect off it's polished surface.

This looked expensive. He didn't expect any less, but now he was worried about losing it on his hobby nights...

Happy Wep Ronpet!!

Em hotep, friends!

Today marks Wep Ronpet, and the beginning of another year! (At least, in this area.) Today’s a day to clean and execrate the s/n/a/k/e and make merry! I’ve done the cleaning, I’m almost done with the s/n/a/k/e image I’ll be execrating, and I have plans to do some more work then bake and eat in the name of the gods. My Bastet icon is here with me, as is my Wesir icon, and they’re very happy to be out of my room! (For the first time in forever~)

A small recap of my intercalary days 2020-

Djehuty day- Wrote some hieroglyphics. (I’m super happy to be in a server where one of my rp characters writes in hieroglyphics, and djehuty is also happy about it!) Gave some food, prayed to him, accidentally introduced him to a friend.

Wesir day- Given many gifts and reminded that I have many friends around me who care for and love me. Made Wesir some fancyyy bread. Drew images of spirits I’d interacted with during my time with Wesir. Allowed my ba to float into the spirit world and was given a message that I have yet to remember (...oops).

Horus day- Was struck with immense pain. A day where I was thrown into many situations where I had to choose to actively aid ma’at. A lot of sleeping otherwise.

Set day- Red was certainly my color! All options seemed open and available, and I felt alive and energized. Talked to my friends more. A pretty good day, actually.

Aset day- Spoons said NO this day. Received some news, was forced to make a decision, though I didn’t finalize anything because ~intercalary days~. Did what I could, but the fact that I don’t remember most of what happened this day probably isn’t a great sign. Sorry Aset.

Nebt-het day- Made cookies! To me, chocolate is tied inexplicably to gods/goddesses like Wesir and Nebt-het, and making the cookies felt like a nice thing to do. I spent most of this day stressed because of a new job opportunity I found, but decided to leave it off till today because, again, ~intercalary days~.

Dua Netjeru! A thousand of the finest bread, a thousand of the best tea, a thousand of the beer, and all the good things on which gods live, to you who protect and aid in the interest of ma’at, and advise us in our problems.

The reason I’m so blissed out about killing it for the first time is for the fact that not only is it the final true boss fight left to be had in the game, but that also according to it’s lore it’s flames can completely burn a civilization to ash in only one night and all monsters and humans alike fear it’s existence.

So in other words, I’ve finally joined the ranks of all those other hunters to have literally slain a god. It’s too bad I don’t have access to the photo proof I took of the first kill, but maybe tomorrow I might post it here among other more RP related things... EEEEEEE Can’t wait to farm it for it’s armor and weps and then it’s onto Monhun Rise!

The Lost Child

“Wow, they could have helped you.”

    Yeah right. That’s what they all say before they would inevitably betray that trust.

    The moment the albino had rushed out, guards were all over his case as he ran out into the storm, thankfully on the tail-end of passing before the night skies cleared. He had to literally flee into the forest until he found shelter.

    Boy, he’s going to be on their sights for a while.

    However, something felt familiar about all this for some reason but he couldn’t pinpoint it. Now that they had mistake him as an enemy for defending himself against the guard, the bitterness only grew.

    Before long, he took shelter in a cavern within the wilderness and just stayed in there, soon to bring out the piece of the Rainbow Shell he had in his pocket for a while and looked at it as he comforted himself before putting it back.

    It didn’t take long before he would doze off for the rest of the night sitting against the walls, arms crossed around his legs and body to keep warm, as the storm cleared up eventually.

Stuck in a time foreign to his own, it had its own merits.

I forgot I had an RP character where I was playing Braig/Xigbar as the Lone Wanderer, as a Small Guns (mainly sniper rifle) specialist teetering between Neutral and Evil

also I never got past the beginning of the game (which, for me, includes Operation: Anchorage) on my first file, then I made my Neutral-aligned Melee character, never got far in that one (level 11), and after my Braig one (also unfinished at level 19) I did yet another Good Small Guns/Energy Weps character who’s sitting at lvl 18 in RobCo, most likely in the Wasteland Guide quest

if that’s any indication at how bad I am at actually finishing Fallout, not including the *five* files I had on my ex’s Xbox

I’m sad I haven’t been able to play SAB yet. I’ve wanted to since last year’s left me with juuuust less than what I needed for the wep I wanted.

But it runs so poorly. The gw2 launcher itself takes twice as long as my other main game (Warframe, which is optimized by programming angels), and loading into the actual game takes so long I’ll forget I’ve launched the game at all by the time I come back to the computer.

I know we’re aware that the game isn’t well optimized, but there’s something up with my machine that’s compounding it. If it’s not running well enough to rp in SAB, it’s hard to want to sit through launching in the first place.

Once I can rectify whatever’s wrong, I’ll be active again. It has sucked to miss out on so much SAB, but hopefully I’ll be able to play it a few times before it’s gone. In the meantime, I’ll be cleaning up my computer some more and hoping for the best.
