Plot details under the cut:

When a young Wendy gets in trouble with the law, young barrister Archie Leach helps her out. They hang out in the pub and Archie starts visiting Wendy's races since she's a renown equestrian taking part in national races. They fall in love. Their parents, however, are not quite happy with this relationship.

But Wendy and Archie marry and soon thereafter welcome their daughter Portia.

This changes their lives completely: they stop going to the pub and Wendy rests her equine activities.

They start to fit in the conventions of the society they once fought against. They become sensible parents. Archie founds his own law firm as soon as he has the chance to do so and Wendy becomes sort of a housewife. She looks after Portia, makes social connections such as meeting for lunch with Marjorie Brooks, playing three rubbers with Philippa Hunter, etc. the social life of the rich, you know. But to fit in the conventions has a very high price: their love fades.

Then Wendy gets the necklace and she is so happy because it shows her Archie still loves her. Shortly after that he asks her to give the necklace back but Wendy says no.

Soon thereafter, a burglar breaks in to their house and steals her necklace. She is traumatized and needs Archie's company but he rushes off to conference.

She comes to terms Archie might have an affair and is devastated. Then she's proven right in court when he humilliates her by publicly calling Wanda "darling", admitting the affair. Wendy slaps him and divorces him.

Archie feels free, finally being able to officially date Wanda but Wendy feels heartbroken and grieves the end of her marriage.

Their lives changes again: Archie setting off to Rio with Wanda and 20 mio. $, Wendy losing her necklace and Archie. She's a single mother of a teenage girl now.

But eventually, she realizes the divorce might has set her free, as well...

I have this idea stuck in one corner of my mind that I seem to not be able to jot down:

What if Wanda Gershwitz stole a crystal ball in hopes to sell it for big cash only to find a spirit called Madame Leota (also played by Jamie Lee Curtis) is trapped in it? And what if Wendy was trying to safe the crystal ball from Wanda's hands?

I hope it's okay there is one character that's not Monthy Python? Feel free to decline if you don't want to write it.

my obsession with Tinkerbell and the Pirate Fairy from 2014 is returning, can I have some headcanons/rants about Zarina being the Hook kids‘ mother?

Why, yes, you can.

First of all, let me recommend this fanfiction about that.

And this one, which I also wrote, and actually you've read but I'm putting it here in case anyone else is interested.

(No, I'm not obsessed with this idea or anything.)

I just really like this idea.

So I don't actually have that many headcanons about her. I just like the idea. And I like fanfictions about the idea. Most of my ideas are from those fanfictions.

In the first fanfiction I linked, Zarina is dead.

So is she in the second one.

(Don't worry, she's alive in the third one!)

In the first one, Zarina died because someone said that she didn't believe in fairies. And, as Peter Pan told Wendy, "Every time a child says 'I don't believe in fairies' there is a fairy somewhere that falls down dead."

In the second one, Zarina died because the barrier kept all magic out of the Isle of the Lost. The Isle is like a little hole in the universe with no magic at all. And Never fairies are beings of magic. Fairies cannot live without magic. All Zarina had was the crew of the Jolly Roger believing in fairies, and it wasn't enough.

So, she's probably dead, for one of those reasons.

She was human on the Isle (mostly) because fairies are beings of magic, and trapped in a place without any magic at all she was human. If she'd lived to get out from the barrier she would have turned back into her natural form, wings and all, but the sudden shock of suddenly getting all her magic back at once, after years and years of it being leached from her, and considering her bad state of health, would have probably killed her.

She told her children stories about fairies, fairy lore and magic and the different talents and so on. The highest compliment she could give her children after completing a task was tell them that they did it as well as if it was their talent.

She liked to guess what her children's talent would have been.

The Hook kids do all possess trace abilities of each of their talents, whatever they would have been.

The Hook children treasure and revere her memory.

And she was the only one who could ever have an influence on James Hook.

John Cleese, you're a coward.

You always run around telling people how well you plan things when you make a movie. You tell them you think about details like the W-necklace and giving Wanda and Wendy W-names so Wendy can mistake the necklace as a gift for her, etc.

Actually, dear John, you're shying away from the REAL consequences of the stories you tell. Now I'm writing Wendy's backstory I have to make a factsheet of plot bits you throw at me and what the consequences are because YOU DIDN'T DO THAT! And my Wendy story has to tell the parts you weren't going to show because otherwise it won't work!

And let me tell you. Things look blake for Archie. Very blake.

Planning a young Wendy and Archie backstory because A Fish Called Wanda dropped some bits that inspired me...

Okay, to set things straight for the record:

My brain is under Leotacracy. Madame Leota rules my brain with benevolence as long as my other favourite characters pay $3 rent to her.

But since quite some time, an obsession has befallen me: WENDY LEACH.

Wendy hits totally different. While Leota and previous hyperfixated characters rule my brain, Wendy is like a virus that has infected my brain. Because my brain sucks information about Wendy out of every detail out of every scene of A Fish Called Wanda she's in. I can't help but write and do research and write again and dig up facts, etc. I know more about Wendy than every other character and I wrote more for her fanfiction than for other characters. Just like the A Fish Called Wanda brainrot I had back in September but that was more like hyperfixation on the movie in general but now...

Wendy has infected my brain under Leotacracy.

At this point I'd like to highlight that this hasn't happened to me with any movie or character before.

WOAH WHAT THE WHAT IS GOING ON??!

I'm expierincing so many coincidences at one time!!

It all started googleing up Maria Aitken for research reasons.

I found she was in a show called "Poor Little Rich Girls" which exactly fits her A Fish Called Wanda role Wendy Leach (whose backstory I did the googleing for... fanfiction in process). So I wanted to know more about this show.

Only to find someone name Laurence was involved which is a funny coincidence because Wendy's father will be called Laurence...

But this show also had a character named

MADAME HARRIET

And guess who's also in A Fish Called Wanda?

JAMIE LEE CURTIS

To make things worse this all happened while I had "Ghost" by Ava Max playing, with the lyrics being

"Everywhere I go I'm haunted by a ghost"

And that was the moment I didn't believe in coincidences anymore. Not in this case.
