capeside Apartments Cleaning Lady is conscientious about respecting residents privacy, she doesn't capitulate easily to authority, she feels bad about her complex backstory of once letting someone into the apartments when they shouldn't have been let in. She is also classist about what residents she would like to "improve" the place. She does not have a name. Her role in the story is as a BACKUP route into a building that you don't need to enter to finish the game. She has her good and bad points. Okay I’ve been meaning to talk about this since Mastermind dropped, but wanted to take some time to think about it first.

Namely, that this line/development Andrealphus drops that “the heir (Octavia) is not yet of age” is… really weird.

Because as I’ve been delving into in my timeline-theory posts, it seems like we are looking at just under two years having passed since the start of the show (specifically, at least one year and nine months just between Spring Broken and Ghostfuckers). Which in turn means that, assuming there haven’t been any unmentioned retcons, Octavia HAS to be at least 18, and could easily be 19 at this point.

So then what exactly IS the Goetia age of inheritance then?

Furthermore, Octavia not yet being old enough to inherit her father’s position actually contradicts some things we’ve already heard and even some of Andrealphus’s own previous motivations.

As in, if we go back to Western Energy, it sounds like the whole REASON he got Stella to call off the hit on Stolas in the first place is because Octavia was already old enough to inherit everything from Stolas, leaving Stella (and by extension, Andrealphus) with nothing.

I mean think about it. If Octavia isn’t actually of age to inherit, as Andrealphus claims this episode, then he would ABSOLUTELY want Stolas dead because then he could just pull exactly what he does at the end of Mastermind. Even just going back to the start of this episode with Andrealphus and Stella, it sounds like all of their plotting and scheming (and by ‘their’, I mean Andrealphus because Stella clearly does not give a fuck) has been trying to get around the fact that they can’t simply kill Stolas, because then everything would go to Octavia.

Not to mention this idea of Octavia already being old enough to inherit goes back even further. Just look at Stolas’s argument with Stella when he says “…and the only thing the Goetia wanted from us (a precautionary heir) is already 17, so it’s over”. Even if 17 isn’t the actual age of inheritance, the whole point of Stolas’s statement here is essentially ‘Octavia is basically old enough to be considered an adult so there isn’t any point for us to keep up this charade of a marriage’, implying that Octavia is at least pretty close to an age of inheritance.

And going back even further to Octavia’s FIRST APPEARANCE in Loo Loo Land, the entire POINT of that episode, and really ALL of Octavia’s appearances since, was about Octavia and Stolas coming to grips with the fact that she is not a child anymore.

So, uh… what’s going on here?

Welllll… what if there are actually some SHENANIGANS at play?

As in, what if Andrealphus was LYING about Octavia not yet being of age? You know, like he was doing basically every time he opened his mouth in that courtroom? What if Octavia IS in fact of age to inherit everything from Stolas, and Andrealphus and Stella (again basically just Andre) have done some number-fudging to make it seem like she isn’t as part of this powerplay?

Now admittedly there is one major wrinkle to this in that Stolas was standing right there to call bullshit when Andrealphus claimed Octavia wasn’t yet of age to inherit. That being said, it could be argued that Stolas was so mentally and emotionally overwhelmed by everything at this point that he didn’t catch it. I mean, Stolas forgetting about Octavia whenever Blitzo-related shenanigans/bullshit are afoot has been a VERY consistent trend all series, something we even saw this very episode.

Plus, since I also know some people are going to say that Andrealphus’s evil plan hinging on nobody looking too closely at Octavia’s actual age is extremely flimsy, let’s consider that the evil plan he enacted this episode also didn’t need him to TRICK SATAN either. Basically, I think it’s quite in-character for Andrealphus to suffer from classic Villainous Complexity Addiction Syndrome.

And you know, Andrealphus and Stella lying about Octavia being younger than she actually is as part of their villainous scheme could actually work VERY well, both narratively and thematically.

Narratively, it provides an easy, straightforward failure-point for Andrelphus’s evil plan, while notably also not providing some magic-reset-button for Stolas’s own fuckups. His whole claim to Stolas’s power and position is entirely reliant on Octavia NOT being old enough to inherit, so if it were to come out that she IS in fact old enough, then everything would thus immediately go to HER and leave Andre completely screwed. While also notably not restoring Stolas’s own position and leaving the status-quo shakeups of him losing his power and position still firmly in place.

Plus giving Andy-the-not-actually-a-sister-fucker exactly the reason to fly into an unhinged murderous rage to try and kill Stolas and Blitzo out of spite.

And thematically speaking, given how Octavia’s whole arc as a character thus far in all of her appearances has been about coming to grips with the fact that she is not a child anymore, I think it would be rather fitting if part of her mother’s and uncle’s big villainous scheme was to infantilize her and try to pretend she is still a child.

I mean they straight up had the villain call his sister “the wholesome parent”.

Not to mention that the show essentially pointing at the fans who have been really insufferable about infantilizing Octavia for the sake of ‘wholesome Stolitz family’ headcanons and comparing them to the villains sounds REALLY funny to me XD

Suprising very chill and calm.ablut when his bros get jealous. He kind of teases when he gets his turn to have you for the night or day.

Very light levels of jealously if any. He is content and knows you love him so he's very confident in himself.

SJM is producing entertainment for the masses. ACOTAR is not some soul-crushing memoir or display of staggering wit.

Which means her writing-and everything in it- is very surface level. What you see on the page, is what you get.

There is simply no need to analyze anything in ACOTAR because it's simply not complex writing that requires such efforts? Readers are easily able to understand her writing, whether they have a degree in 14th century English language and composition, or if they just picked up ACOTAR because they saw it on BookTok.

It's easily digestible. That's why it's so popular.

It's why I always am so utterly perplexed anytime I see a PowerPoint presentation or line by line analysis of scenes from these books. It's not that deep? The message of her books is easily understood.

The people diving into her pages, posting line by line analyses and adding their personal interpretation, claiming it as law are so crazy. She had dreamed of this day for months, Where the invisible string between them would become shorter and shorter and their hearts would reunite as one. It was always a fairytale in her eyes; he’d come to her desparate and weeping for her forgiveness and they’d ride off into the sunset with dopey smiles on their faces, drunk off the love they had for one another. 

It was quite the opposite. They sat at opposite ends of her elongated dining room table, fiddling with the delicate wine glasses that held a dangerous amount of sweet red wine that she’d refilled twice more since his arrival. Cleotha Jean was not easily amused, but his response drew a chuckle from her. Her tired eyes held no life. “Panicked? About what, Joe? I-I-I’m not understanding. We were together for almost 3 years and you panic weeks after our engagement, call off the wedding, then show up at my house months later just to say you panicked?” 

Joe inhaled deeply and closed his eyes. She was upset and rightfully so. But, the harshness of her words made him want to crawl into a hole and stay there. It was deeper than she thought. Yet, being the emotionally intelligent person she worked to be, Cleotha took note of how he retreated further into his seat and sighed. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said it like that. But, Joe, I just…panicked for what?” 

He panicked. She hurt. She’d lay in bed at night and pray that God would mend the heart she’d feel break like rock to a window. She’d writhe in pain, begging for him to return. He panicked while she suffered. 

“I got in my head, Cleo,” he said shortly. “You have both parents in your life and your father loves your mother more than words can describe. He’s a good man, a good father, and a good husband. I never had that example. I freaked out. I don’t have parents, I don’t have an example of what a good husband should be. The last thing I wanted to do was take this huge step and failing you as a husband. That kind of weight either makes or breaks a person…and it broke me. And I’m sorry for putting you through that.” 

Cleotha’s lips twisted as she fought the lump that formed in her throat. She sought for any form of dishonesty or lack of truth in his eyes, but all she saw was a plea for forgiveness. One more chance, he begged silently.

“It might take forever and a day for you to forgive me, but…I can’t do life without you, Cleo. I tried and I’ve been so miserable. Words can’t make up for anything, but I want to start over.” 

And the question became, would she agree?

On Monday morning, Chris walked into his bedroom and Louise pounced on his back, wrapping her arms up around his neck as she tried to cling to him. He grabbed her legs to stop her from falling and laughed.

‘I’ll so be able to kick your ass tonight after today!’ She giggled.

‘Oh you think so, huh?’ He spun her around a few times, making her squeal. Then he fell onto the bed with her, and grabbed her leg to haul her round, he pinned her underneath him and grabbed her wrists, holding her down.

She tried pulling free, but Chris just smirked at her attempts. ‘Are you quite finished, pumpkin?’

She let out a big huff and went limp. ‘For now. It’s not fair, you’ve got vampire strength.’

Chris laughed again and kissed her on the lips. ‘I do indeed… However, I think if we’ve both learned anything this weekend, it’s that you enjoy being underneath me, squirming and submissive…’ He purred into her ear and kissed just below her earlobe, making her shiver.

‘You got me.’ She blushed.

They’d spent most of Sunday fooling around, trying different positions and just having fun exploring one another’s body. ‘They seem to be.’ Loki nodded. ‘Hopefully though as we take out more of them, it will get easier. There surely can’t be much more hunters.’

‘I hope not.’ Claire said.

‘Well, we better get going anyway. Toshi will be expecting us.’ Chris said.

They all headed to the car, Claire dragged Louise into the back seat with her. The guys just laughed and gave in easily.

‘Let me see!’ Claire turned to Louise and pointed at her neck.

‘God, you’re so determined.’ Louise laughed and tilted her head to show her bite mark.

Chris looked in the rear-view mirror and smirked at the way Louise was showing it off.

‘I’m guessing wearing his clothes went fine too?’ Claire asked as quiet as she could, but she knew that Loki and Chris would hear anyway. Even though they were chatting about Saturday nights events.

‘It did.’ Louise nodded.

Chris was wearing the stripey jumper that she had been wearing all weekend. It smelled of her now and Chris loved it. Louise was in awe how well it fit him, compared to how large it was on her.

‘So, Toshi has an inside guy?’ Chris asked Loki.

‘Yeah. Explains why she often knows where to go to get hunters.’

‘Did you feed from one of them on Saturday night?’ Chris asked knowingly.

Loki just mumbled in response and turned his head to look out of the window. Chris smirked and glanced in the mirror, Claire mouthed ‘he so did.’ with a grin.

When they arrived at Toshi’s place, Louise and Claire were in awe. It was a beautiful little house in the countryside, so peaceful and idyllic.

Toshi and Severus had set up a little picnic in the front garden, with refreshments and snacks. Though they were going to train on the large grassy area just outside her garden next to where the cars were parked.

‘You’ve got such a beautiful home.’ Claire said to Toshi.

Spencer, Jessica, David and Matt were already there, fawning over some of her cats.

‘Thank you. It’s my little piece of paradise.’ Toshi grinned.

‘Sorry we’re a little late, had to fill Chris in with Saturday’s events.’ Loki said.

‘I figured that would be the case.’ Toshi nodded.

‘Yeah, heard I missed all the fun.’ Chris chuckled. ‘Though I was having a lot more fun doing something else.’ He grinned and winked at Louise, who blushed in response.

‘I figured you’d probably want to kill me if I had called you and ruined your weekend.’

‘I would’ve understood, but since it was something you lot were able to handle, it’s appreciated.’ Chris said earnestly.

Claire dragged Loki off when she spotted one of Toshi’s cats, Diabetes, he was a chubby cat but Claire fell in love instantly. Louise rushed over to pet the cat too.

‘Honestly, it would’ve been muuuuch easier if it had been just you, me and Severus on Saturday.’ Toshi said quietly to Chris.

Chris chuckled. ‘Was it a bit of a shit show?’

‘Not too bad, just would have been less talking of a plan and would’ve likely been dealt with quicker.’ Toshi shrugged.

‘I’ll try to be on call next time.’ Chris smirked. ‘Now, where’s my lil pal, Nokia?’

Right on cue, Nokia came strolling out of the house and had a big stretch. She looked around at all the visitors, but when she spotted Chris, she let out a loud meow and trotted right over to him.

Chris grinned as he crouched down and scooped the cat up for a cuddle. Nokia purred and butted at his chin.

‘Such a traitor.’ Toshi said with a smirk as she shook her head.

It wasn’t easy to drag Louise and Claire away from the cats to join the others as everyone sat around the large picnic table to have a drink before starting.

Chris ended up having to physically remove Louise away from one of the cats, Ms Jeans. He scooped her up from the ground and carried her over to the others. She pouted for a moment, but not for long, as Chris sat her on his lap and softly kissed her neck, making her melt.

‘How come you’ve been here before but the rest of us haven’t?’ Matt asked Chris.

Chris shrugged and grinned. ‘Cause I’m the best.’

Toshi scoffed. ‘More like because he’s a stalker and has everyone’s address.’

Chris chuckled. ‘Still makes me the best.’

Loki rolled his eyes. ‘We need to discuss what we are going to tell Hannibal. Do we trust that he will believe the truth about Toshi speaking with an insider? Can we trust him to know that?’ Loki asked.

‘I don’t trust him at all.’ Severus grumbled.

‘Me neither. He gives me the creeps.’ Louise said.

‘Me too.’ Claire agreed. ‘Couldn’t we just tell him that it wasn’t a hunter? It was a friend or something?’ She suggested.

‘That might be the best thing to do. There’s no way he could’ve known just by looking at them that they’re a hunter, he will have been guessing. Hoping that it was a way to break your trust in me.’ Toshi said to the group.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

‘I’m rather worried with how the hunters seem to be zoning in more on us. Why are they going after us, and how do they know where we often are? That’s twice now, the first was Jessica at the show with Claire and now David and Matt on Saturday.’ Chris said in concern.

‘You guys are the main vampires in the city, who knows almost everyone. And Chris, you being an original doesn’t help. With you all being teachers and guiding other young vampires, you're all high on the hunter’s radars.’ Toshi explained.

‘We are really going to need to be extra cautious.’ David sighed.

‘Definitely.’ Chris nodded.

‘Well, in the meantime, why don’t we do some training?’ Toshi asked, looking at Louise and Claire.

Their faces lit up and they jumped up to their feet in excitement. ‘Let’s do this!’ Claire said giddily.

Chris looked at Loki and they shared a worried look. They were concerned with how excited their girls were about learning some fighting skills.

They hoped that they’d never need to use them.

EEEEEEE ok so. Basic premise is Scott and Martyn are both a part of the hybrid trafficking business, but neither of them particularly like their jobs. In this universe, hybrid trafficking is well known, but the only people who are really buying from the trade are wealthy, upper class citizens. I'm trying to go for a sort of Industrial Era setting, so transportation and communication are somewhat limited here.

So Martyn and Scott are involved in this business, but are more than willing to abandon ship at any moment if they think something's not gonna go their way. They're in it for themselves and so long as they have each other, they've agreed that they'd be fine watching the rest of the world burn. There's backstory here with the two of them being raised together but I haven't fully fleshed that out yet so I might talk about it again later.

So, how do the ships come into the picture? Martyn happens to find himself in possession of a wolf hybrid one day...incredibly easily, which is totally not suspicious at all. But the next night, he finds his hideout has been raided by other hybrids who have rescued the wolf hybrid and tell him they're going to take him hostage so that he can help them.

Quote from the first chapter bc it's fun:

He grinned maniacally, his tail flicking back and forth like he was excited. “Oh, I'm not gonna tell you that. But I can tell you that, for once in your pathetic life, you're going to be helping us for a change. Now let's get moving. It's a long walk from here to the capital.”

The Midnight Kiss Equation

Warnings — fem!reader, Peter’s pov, no word count, tooth rotting fluff partially inspired by Briar’s bf, one swear word, mentions of kissing

If planning had enemies, Peter Parker would have his face on a wanted poster by now (again). So, he decided to turn it into something that both him and the universe could easily understand.. an equation.

It really was as simple as: New Years’(You + Him) = Midnight Kiss

(Note: researcher presents bias throughout but remains unaware of the effect of his poetic nature).

The Method:

1. Watch the fireworks show together.

2. Kiss you at midnight

3. (He didn’t have a step three, but who needs one anyway, two steps are more than enough, no need to over complicate things).

Results:

Turns out, the method needed a couple more steps. Who would’ve thought? So, um, maybe figuring out how to ask you if you’d like to watch the fireworks show together was a slight hurdle, one at which he’d greatly miscalculated his.. well everything. Lucky for him, you’d been charmed by him long before his first attempt at talking to you, not that Peter knew that. Eventually, he managed to gain the courage and you both clicked instantly.

“You should really get a warning label, or maybe even some bells so people know you’re coming.”

“You’re really not gonna let that go, are you?”

“Welllll considering you did almost run me over with your skateboard and then proceeded to kidnap me-”

“I did not. I just.. lifted you? onto my board.”

“So kidnapped?”

“We were in the hallway on campus?! I didn’t want to crash into anyone!”

“Whatever you say Parker.”

He was much smoother when it came to your first kiss (even if he was almost late). The poetic speech he had prepared (and rehearsed multiple times in front of the mirror) to ask you to be his girlfriend was a story for another time. For now, he’ll treasure the photographs he sneakily captured at the New Year’s fireworks show.

Note — so um these were originally meant to be headcannons but I started writing and that all went straight out the window, I hope that’s alright. Reading back through it, I realise that there isn’t much about New Years specifically on there, so if you’d like a part two from your pov on what happened, feel free to let me know xx

fossey was absolutely the more accepting of his feelings of the two in this regard; though they were definitely pretty nervous they tended to downplay it a lot, like "welllll... people get crushes on coworkers with all the time!! plus its not like anything's gonna come of it, so its fine for me to like him.. im sure ill get over it soon" <- that. generally just didnt register that they might have a chance At All and as a result didnt really catch themself reading too much into his words/actions because "well its not like he'd like me anyways! that would be wasting my time. i have a job to do, after all".

sniper on the other hand...

for him, the realization was like being hit in the face with a brick. not because he thought fossey was particularly undesirable in any way that would make him go "i cant believe i like THEM", but rather because he was still operating under the expectation of not really getting to know them or really form any relationship/attachment past just. general coworker amiability. it honestly made him panic a bit, because he wasnt sure if this would affect his performance in battle ["if i get hung up on something like that, itll be easier for me to get distracted and hurt more easily. or worse, ill underperform" <- that sorta thing] and again, he tries to consider himself as being somewhat divorced from feelings, at least on a professional level. of course, we know this to not be true [calls his parents regularly, shows genuine care to his teammates, etc etc] but well. hes stupid. <3.

🦅- How good are their friends at being wingmen? Do they even help at all or just sit back watching the pining with a bag of popcorn?

...you could not possibly have a worse ensemble of wingmen than the options laid out for these two. at the absolute least, fossey has the support of miss pauling, who reassures them about things when they feel down. however shes not really an active wingman? like she encourages fossey but doesnt ever actively try to vouch for fossey as a potential partner for sniper, mostly because fossey has asked her Not to [going back to the whole lack of perceived desirability they feel and all]. other than that, they havent really confided in their feelings to anyone else, mostly because they know theres literally no circumstance under which it would end without great humiliation.

sniper, on the other hand, tries to be discreet when asking for advice, but everyone kind of Knows who hes got his eyes set on. so when he tries to ask for help and is immediately met with a chorus of "ooooh so youre finally gonna ask out fossey?" hes like FUCK YOU and also how did you know [fake idgafer they saw you saying good morning!! when you dont do that for anyone else!!!!]. so i think he would get frustrated and then not ask for help again

that said i can definitely see a few of the mercs trying to take things into their own hands. scout makes stupid jokes to fossey about sniper ["yknow hes got a picture of ya in his camper, right?" "HE WANTS TO SHOOT ME?" "NO"], soldier probably tries giving him unsolicited advice that literally only worked because zhanna matches his freak so well, and medic breaks HIPAA in a strange way to try and bring them closer together. none of it ever works but theyre all quite content to watch the two of them very awkwardly dance around their feelings for one another and tease them about it [though mostly sniper. since fossey does a shockingly good job at hiding her side of things + they havent known her nearly as long]

💕- Who confessed first and how? Did it go as planned or did shenanigans ensue?

oh this ones fun. they both kinda confessed at different times, but the first one just... didnt work? going back to this question set, after fossey apologizes/confronts sniper about his avoidance, he Does confess his feelings, but does so in a more vague way that fossey absolutely Did Not Clock as romantic. unfortunately this ended with the most brutally unintentional friendzone known to man

its not as though All hope is lost, though. like i said, there were multiple "confessions", albeit fossey's was admittedly much more thought out in terms of like. the specifics.

see, they have a really bad habit of overworking [mostly because they lose track of time very easily, and their work is so repetitive its easy to get lost in the sauce. they arent a very intentional overachiever], and a lot of sleep problems. as such, it was bound to happen that they would one day fall asleep at their desk, having worked themself to exhaustion and not really noticing it until they'd woken up...

sniper notices fossey sleeping at their desk, hours after they were supposed to leave for the day [being a bit of an insomniac himself, he would sometimes just. walk around. everyone on the team is kind of a freak it makes sense to me. you know]. so he goes and wakes them up like "hey dude you were supposed to leave hours ago" and theyre like FUCK right ill be out of here in a second. however, before they can leave, sniper remembers that fossey usually Walks home. so he offers them a ride, because the idea of them walking home alone at like 2am greatly unsettles him. they agree, and since its only a 15/20 minute walk it ends up being a very short drive, spent in an admittedly comfortable silence between the two. maybe a longing glance or two is passed without the other noticing.

and just before fossey steps out of the van to go fuck off to their apartment building, without even thinking they lean over and give him a kiss on the cheek, then step out and wave goodbye like nothing happened. [its not until theyre actively closing the door to the apartment building behind them that they realize what theyve done. and by then theyre like FUCK]

sniper is obviously speechless, because just a couple months ago he got friendzoned and he was still wrestling with the fact that his feelings were only getting stronger with time. he just kind of sits there for a second before he realizes he probably looks crazy just sitting there in a van outside an apartment complex that is primarily home to like. old ladies. and on the drive back to his usual parking space for the camper hes just like Fuuuck work is gonna be so awkward tomorrow.

and the next day they do talk it out.. fossey stops by his camper and is like Heyyy so can we um 😅 talk about last night haha... and they give a verbal confession but end it with like "im not really expecting you to feel the same way but since you basically already know i figured id tell you..." and snipers just there like It is unbelievable how much i feel the same way. i imagine the conversation itself would be quite awkard/seemingly "anticlimactic" for the start of a relationship, sort of like [incoming maine moment] shimamitsu's first little stint as a couple in skip to loafer where they just very awkwardly are like "do you... wanna try going out?" after a rather embarrassingly sudden confession. but both of them are autistic and awkward so <3 love is love <3

😑- How easily do they get jealous and how do they handle it?

fossey is admittedly not very jealous at all LOL though this mostly comes from the fact that they dont place very high value in themself. so theyre like "? if he ever found someone else he'd just go for it man i dont think it'd be worthwhile to keep me around just to cheat". they also just arent really the possessive type, since they do actually trust him quite a bit in this regard and are very much of the "if you love something let it go" mindset. however in the context where i ship sniper with the other mercs theyre very chill with it. because fossey has the fujoshi spirit 👍

if they ever Would get jealous i think they would handle it well enough on their own, though. they tried exactly one [1] time to make a joke about sniper leaving for someone else and he was MORTIFIED so they were like Damn i probably shouldnt do that again that was a little mean.

sniper i think would probably be a little bit more jealous? it doesnt come up very much, but every once in a while someone gets just a liiittle too close or looks a liiittle too long and hes like ? You could back up a little bit!

he mostly keeps it to himself since fossey isn't and has never been the type to pursue or flirt with others even in a playful context, so when he Does get jealous its usually directed at the other party. i think early on he mightve gone to fossey about it first and when they got confused [because they didnt think the other person saw them that way + were absolutely NOT trying to go for them] he realized it didnt make much sense and didnt really bring it up like that again. not much reason to blame fossey for how others feel when they arent the one Inviting those feelings, yknow? at most he might be like "damn that guy would Not leave you alone" but even then it happens quite rarely, so its not something they really have to address more than like. once or twice a year. that said i Do think he might get a little more clingy without really noticing it... hugging a little more tightly or casually throwing an arm around their shoulders a little longer than usual.

💀- If the canon character is canonically dead, how did your OC handle their death? (Or did you completely omit their death cause fuck canon?)

this one is interesting, not just because of the game mechanics but also because of his canon [albeit temporary] comic death. when considering respawn compatibility + mechanics and the nature of the game, i think fossey is desensitized enough to how much violence occurs around these guys on a daily basis that the concept of sniper being hurt in this way doesnt really faze him any more than it does miss pauling or any other merc. like he knows he'll be back. its fine. though i do think in the back of his mind he sometimes worries that one day sniper might come back and not remember/not love/not care for him anymore, although this has yet to happen, and if scout's persistence with trying to court miss pauling is any proof, it likely never will.

his comic death, however, is a different story, primarily because it left him with some pretty permanent scars. fossey freaked out so fucking bad when they found out what happened [since they werent present for it] and they just like. almost couldnt really believe it? the desensitization to his death in the context of the gravel war + respawn machine and how it functions made them less cognizant of the idea that Hey he could still die for real one day. and that realization shook them pretty badly... if they were actually present for it i think they would genuinely be inconsolable for a while. but LUCKILY hes back 👍 insert i cant help myself "all clean!" image here

From what was hinted at the demo some of them seem to have a driver's license (Elio?) but what about the rest of the cast? are they safe or reckless driver? if not, are they at least interested in obtaining one? Thank youu :)

Cam has a license (ya'll know that) and they're a safe driver! It's a big car they're driving after all. Plus, they got a big responsibility as the designated driver of the group so they're definitely not fucking around.

Elio has a license, and he's mostly safe. I say mostly because he likes to go off-roading when he's back home, and while that's not inherently a reckless activity, it's still dangerous if you don't exercise caution all the time. So yeah-- mostly hah

Reynah has a driver's license but she doesn't drive often. When she does though she's also safe! But she might have a tendency to speed a little. ^^,

Percy has a license but he doesn't drive. Not while he can still sit in the passenger seat in Elio's ride back home lol

Jamie doesn't have a driver's license. 1) he's a transfer student 2) he doesn't go anywhere that can't be easily reached by the shuttles on campus. But he is thinking of getting one as soon as he can!

Deja has a license but she doesn't drive. Growing up near and in the city, she doesn't find much of a reason to get a car and deal with the hassle of parking. She'll take the train, yup.
