i'm currently rewatching peach girl ep 10-11 (spoilers if you care and there’s some language)
dude i hate touji so much. Sae basically has blackmail photos of Momo and Goro in bed together (Sae set them both up to look like something....bad happened), and she tells Touji that if he and Momo continue dating then she'll leak the photos at a press conference. Now if Touji used whatever braincells he has left over, he'd tell Momo what's going on in secret so Sae doesn't know, and they'd work together to thwart the leaks from happening. And they'd still be together (I mean if the breakup were to happen anyway, it could've been more well written than this garbage) but because Toji is dumb as rocks, he tells Momo they have to break up. And even worse is that Kairi knows whats going on and tells Touji the truth to Momo (cause thank lord someone is telling him this) and he still had the nerve to say he still "loves" Sae and had the IRON BALLS. THE AUDACITY to kiss Sae full on the lips in front of Momo. The girl who he still has genuine feelings for. I'd get more angry, but honestly, good for Momo that they broken up. Because she deserves better than an idiot like him. And in episode 11, he just continues to act like an asshole towards momo. Like....screw him honestly.
#peach girl#momo adachi#anime#touji sucks so much i cant#and just when I thought he'd gotten smarter he went back to square one.#kazuya toujikamori#kairi okayasu#sae kashiwagi#if i was momo i'd punch both Sae and Toji repeatedly#Like I knew he was an idiot before but I still held on to the hope that these two didnt break up like THIS#no leave it to Toji's stupidity that they broke up at all. I'm on ep 11 and he's still a big bitch to her#okayasu's a homie#the writing is all over the place but what do you expect from an anime romance show written in the early 2000s#well the manga was released in 97 but still

Lets talk about the Jimbocho book haul! This was a vacation, not a research trip or anything, so I didn't have set goals - instead I just explored and found things that looked interesting or were attached to my interests and seemed “cool” to own. And that strategy worked surprisingly well:
I will as always highlight just a few of them - if you want me to deep dive one of them, shoot me a message. First up we have the "Erotic Newspaper '97 Highlights", a completely-out-of-nowhere find.
Which right out the gate, really pushing my limits here on the "getting banned" front; I don't even know the rules anymore. Made by the circle 児童販売鬼/Juvenile Sales Demon (!), it is this style of “doujin omnibus” that was decently common in the earlier areas and is sometimes still made today; blending essays, personal rants, art, and full comics, often even on to the same page. And of course, this is about ero-doujin, so that blend gets pretty intense sometimes!
But as an “anime fandom “ researcher documents like these are absolute gold mines. The opening page discusses the late 90’s “bubble” in ero-doujin publications, possible legislative action against hentai being discussed that everyone is worried about, and even has that classic otaku identity tic of politicizing their own identity, mentioning a “Rights for Eromanga!” slogan going around (which it cautions against). It seems like a great biased-but-expansive view of the state-of-play in eromanga circles at the time, which few other documents can give you. Primary sources, baby.
Additionally, amoung its topics it has some sections about Evangelion:
And even a section on Utena:
Yeah that entire bottom corner's just... it just has got to go. I am unsure if this is something I will ever scan - its really niche, and being a porn archivist is not really my goal. But I hope to do a full read and post a summary someday.
Next up in a similar vein, I have a copy of Fanroad Magazine from 1996!
Fanroad Magazine was similar to the Comic Box magazine I have discussed before, in that it collected art & essays from fans about the shows of the day and gave them a place for their voice to be heard. Before the internet this was the only real way to do that en masse; by the 2000’s these magazines would almost all die out as social media replaced them. Fanroad was one of the most popular, having highly structured sections, detailed questionnaires for submitters, in-jokes, the works. And of course this edition was a bit of a targeted buy, as the cover surely gives away - Fanroad released a few issues focused on Evangelion, and this is one of them:
I might scan this one, but first I will give it a read and see how interesting the takes are - it had so much cute fan art though, valuable for that alone.
Next up is a very quick and personal one: Comic Cue Vol 4. Which…what even is this, I imagine you are thinking:
Comic Cue was an off-beat one-shot manga anthology magazine that ran through the 90’s into the 2000's, often focusing, not on hentai, but that middle-ground “erotically charged” narrative stories or comedy shots. Its covers were often just insane - no clue why this cover is in English, none of the magazine is. This one is of interest to me, however, because amoung Volume 4’s submissions is:
Yoshiyuki Sadamoto’s Dirty Work one-shot. Yep, thats right, from the random-deep dive essay I put together analyzing a single line of dialogue Sadamoto wrote for Mamimi in FLCL. Now I own the fucker. That's cool! I like that. I am really proud of that essay due to how much I learned from it, writing about a topic whose specificity seemed like it would be impossible to get that much out of; so owning the actual manga is it centered on feels special.
Speaking of niche Ash-writing references!
We have “Girl’s Life on the Flat Battlefield”, the Kyoko Okazaki Artbook made for an exhibit done on her back in 2015, the cover of which I featured in my essay about the proper translation of “battlefield” from River’s Edge. This is an amazing book in its own right though - its content is so diverse. It has essays from her and from other writers about her work that I hope to read. It has beautiful art compositions and solo pieces:
It has recreations of the actual drafts of her manga as she made them - showcasing things like how she would type up the dialogue and cut-and-paste the printed text into the bubbles, the normal way that was done in the pre-digital composition era:
It has this one section by a contributing artist of photographs of “otaku edgy women” and stuff, amazing documentary work:
I see you, Gunbuster figurine on the table! This is probably the best book-as-a-book I found; I highly recommend it to any Kyoko Okazaki fan for the depth of coverage it has on both her work and the context of her work.
You can see some others of course - I found a few copies of magazines like Newtype and Animage from when they covered FLCL! I would like the Catch Them All - these are all generally scanned & archived already of course, so its just for fun. You can see another book on Okazaki, a really cool academic book on the history of magazines and fanzines in Japanese subculture, and the Gothic & Lolita Bibles that Partner is quite excited about. I am very happy with what I found; there is a beauty in the serendipity of these things. Of course I could have searched Yahoo Auctions for a copy of the Okazaki book, I knew exactly what it was. But stumbling on it in a floor-level cubby while my hands were already stacked with magazines and nearly dropping them in surprise is the magic of the physical bookstore in its fullness. It has its own value that the book itself can’t possess.

340 Official Release
I'm convinced Horikoshi likes to purposefully put Hawks next to giant characters all the time now. Just to make him look smaller (small Hawks hc's are hilarious and it's fun to tease but I still stand that him being 5'8" doesn't make him short). Horikoshi must love to tease Hawks for whatever reason.
Also parrot Hawks? I can't believe this is canon.

Gintoki’s Ideal Type
A while back when I did a post about Gintoki as a boyfriend, one thing I briefly mentioned was his ideal type. So I just wanted to take the time to expand on that.
Sidenote: one thing I frequently see with discussions involving Gintoki and love is that he ‘just doesn’t seem like the type to settle for one person.’ I would just like to note that I think Sorachi-sensei never intended for Gintoki (or any character) to have a romantic partner in the manga.
Because an underling message in Gintama - especially in Gintoki’s case - is overcoming personal struggles. The speech he gave in his fight against Kamui really captures this.
Gintama is also very much a manga built on family bonds and that you don’t have to be related by blood to be family. In Gintoki’s case, finding the family he never had.
But anyway back his ideal type lol. I just wanted to show why I think it is really possible for him to find love within the Gintama universe.
One thing Gintoki is really attracted to is someone’s smile. He tries to protect multiple characters smiles in multiple arcs. A smile is the most attractive physical trait to him. Ketsuno Ana could be used as the template for his ideal type with his massive crush on her. Even if it is just a childish celebrity crush.
Friendly, kind, down to earth, and always has a warm smile on her face. Even if it is for the most part a TV personality (though she is a genuinely good person) he seems to be fond of the opposite of the way he sees himself.
He’s been looked at and treated as a demon for a majority of his life. I mean think of the people he’s close to, all of them see him as human and not a monster. Of course he’s overcome those trials, and became human in the end. Which means romantically speaking, he needs/wants someone who accepts him as he is, flaws and all.
Falling back someone who’s kind, the man gets thrown around like a rag doll, pierced in the head, and stalked. He would really enjoy the company of someone who will sit down with him and just listen - and I mean he has done that when drunk with bartenders/shop owners. But it would be extra nice if it were a significant other.
Patience. He likes this mostly to handle Kagura and everyone else he’s close to, but doesn’t realize it’s needed to handle how he has a hard time expressing his emotions as well.

Let me tell you why…
I am a) fucking upset about wikipedia the past 4 years and b) RAGING MAD right now!💥🌪️💥
a) First of all, I don’t know what most people use wikipedia nowadays but before 2020 I personally used it for verified information on mostly anime as well as other various topics. Let me explain the anime aspect a bit more though...
Back in my noob years, I would download to watch anime on my pc because connection was shit to load on an online site, which unfortunately sometimes led to watching things that left me baffled at best and horrified at worst. I had nightmares.
After the 3rd time this occurred, I resulted in checking wikipedia for genres and a general overlook of the main story of whatever I wanted to watch. Helped greatly— even helped me make watching lists depending on release dates etc. Everything peachy!
But after 2020… bloody fuck! What happened??? Every plot section always ends with the story’s conclusion stated flat out there for everyone to read — like an ass hanging out from a ripped pantsu!!! — and get the spoilers spit in their face… I mean, WHAT?! I never encountered this thing before! Why are the contributors feeling the need to fuck up your enjoyment? Is it revenge for being shut-ins during covid? Are authors replaced by the malign trolls that we had in the fandom since times immemorial? Was I too lucky to never encounter this (which I highly doubt considering all the anime researches I have done on the site!)? Which is it? This sucks majorly and I’m absolutely seething with how this particular side (anime media/entertainment) of the internet has become. I. HATE. IT..— 😤
b) And second of all, this is a recurring problem INSIDE fandom! I am 97% sure it’s the covid that let dicks sorry I meant people who normally wouldn’t bother with anime and fandom to take a swing at it and then invade platforms with tons of reposts of ‘sophisticated’ verbatim recounts of every chapter and every episode of every goddamn manga and anime that exists! What meta and shit? Make an actual observation first! Add something! Define something! IN YOUR WORDS! IN YOUR ART! And THEN call it meta!!! Also, here more specifically, I’m sick of seeing the same manga panel 278 times with just thirst captions being changed… Ya’ll are horny! We get it! Just put that one stupid panel up with as many deranged tags you like and let everybody else reblog it with their own! Jeez~ It’s so hard to find an art or an actual original post about something in all that mess! >:E
And the YouTube! Oh the goddamned YouTube! Who the heck wants to waste 27’ of their time to watch “The Smarts of Gojo Satoru you didn’t realise” or “How Trigun’s Vash is an incredible character” blah blah blah??? Get over yourselves! I have my own answers and observations and besides— who told you you are ‘right’ in the first place to educate me?! I want AMVs, dammit! I want slash ships and fics and ARTS!!! Not useless regurgitations of the same ONE CANON thing! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! GRAHHH!!!👿
BTW, the actual analyses that do provide info and insights — yes, those still exist — are just SO buried under all of the debris of trash and misinformation that finding anything is a miracle. _(:3 」∠)_
And a bonus for those that read this far… this has to be the most freaking braindead shit I have read my whole life…
Tell me you’re missing the point without telling me you’re missing the point…
Well. duh! The creator MADE him that way! Bruh…
Also, yeah. You guessed it. I got spoiler-ed for the Trigun ending, too! No matter what, JJK continues being an unavoidable pest also. Grrr… Anime onlys just can’t get a break— not even outside fandom anymore and thus THIS IS SO ANNOYING! (● ˃̶͈̀ロ˂̶͈́)੭ꠥ⁾⁾
I SUPORT KNIVES ON HIS ENDEAVOURS! WIPE THE DAMN UNIVERSE, MY BOY!!!

Hello! Thank you for all your work. Ive been getting into the NatsuYuu manga, and I just wanted to make sure. What chapters should one start at after finishing the anime (not including any of the movies)? Additionally, is there any chapters that the anime does not cover, so I can read those as well? Thank you so much, and have a wonderful day!
I always link people this episode guide by Tumblr user @rukari97 when asked this question. It's somewhat outdated now with the release of the second film, since it animates chapters 97 and 98 (Suspicious Visitor) and chapter 82 (The Waking Stone/Ishi-Okoshi), but it's still very helpful.
Edit: here's an up to date episode guide by Tumblr user @treecakes

beastars episode 24 thoughts!
this post got kinda long i have Many Thoughts on this one
Overall I had fun watching this ep but I could really tell it was rushed and there was so much that got cut, which makes me super sad. our fears about the finale having pacing issues due to all the added scenes & rearranging were confirmed & it rly sucks, but i'll elaborate more on that in a bit.
this week's ep covered the end of chapter 92, chapters 93-97, and included small bits of chapters 98 & 99.
so the ep starts with the ED and the latter part of the tunnel scene with ibuki and louis. i liked the visual effect they used to show that they were in the dark. louis' voice acting was also On Point. for the most part i think this scene was done pretty well but I can tell it's being rushed also. I really wish we got more buildup and narration instead of just jumping straight to ibuki telling louis to shoot him. the way it is in the anime feels less impactful imo.
also im sad we didnt get to see this in the anime
before i move on, i wanna talk a bit about louis and his relationship w/ the shishigumi and ibuki. i feel like in the anime quite a few of the lil moments that really endear you to the shishigumi and also ibuki were either cut or kinda glossed over, which is strange to me considering how much effort and care went into the ED. it's very emotional and good but i feel like maybe anime onlies are missing out only seeing the anime and the MV. but idk.
legosi and riz's fight was quite rushed as well. there's so much narration and dialogue missing from it and that really rubs me the wrong way. It wasn't all bad but compared to the manga I just don't think it's as good. I will say tho that I really liked the sequence w legosi and the moths. I thought it looked really nice and was pretty well done.
also i liked how the backgrounds had some anti-yahya graffiti, its a nice touch imo
it says "high quality horse meat"
I was happy to see legosi do the "tell me more" pose but I'm honestly disappointed that the anime took out the whole exposition about why legosi did it. like i feel like without that it's just legosi being weird when he has a reason for it!!! This is just one example of the anime taking out crucial narration during the fight.
I also think it's kinda weird how they changed how louis shows up at the fight. im not sure how i feel about riz just charging at him like that, but i liked how legosi kicked him before they ran lol.
i dont have much to say about pina's small scene but I did wanna say that during my first watch thru of the ep i was too distracted trying to read the graffiti behind him that i didn't notice him getting his phone out of the dumpster and calling the cops lmao
it says "devour yahya"
and now... here we are... the predation scene.
overall i thought it was pretty well done but, like the rest of the ep, i could tell it was also being kinda rushed. some important beats werent given enough time to really sink in, and there's a few bits of narration taken out of this part as well that i find disappointing :^(
tho i did like how the anime called back to this scene in s1 when legosi mentions utilizing his strength.
also this part where louis is remembering ibuki had me like😭
I also really liked seeing louis cry. I was crying too sjdflskjdflsjkdf. i thought that scene was really good, its prolly my favorite part of the ep tbh. getting to hear the whole predation scene voiced made me kind of a mess lol. i really liked louis' expressions throughout this whole ep too. studio orange used their whole louis expression budget on these last 2 eps lmao.
seeing legosi instantly get all beefed up was great too. he looked a little ridiculous but i kinda loved it lol. he's so huge and poofy. i love him.
big pomeranian
anyway, im also sad they took out louis' line about being reduced to a flashback character lol. instead he tells legosi "be a hero" again which... im not sure about that change. i liked the part with riz thinking back about tem tho. tho imo the way riz realizes he's in the wrong feels pretty sudden. again adding to how rushed the whole ep feels.
before i move on again i just wanna say legosi looks so cute. even all puffed up and covered in blood. how does he do that
baby boy baby. i wanna ruffle his cheek floofs.
i think one of the things im most disappointed about from this whole ep was how the fight got wrapped up. i really like how the cops show up and totally shift the tone in the manga jslkdfjskljdf. im also really sad we didnt get this interaction
tthe anime really took out most of the sillier moments from the finale, which makes me pretty sad to think about. i know the anime and manga have different tones but pls let the boys be silly sometimes!!
the next part where legosi and louis finally establish their friendship was really cute tho ❤️ even tho it was pretty different i enjoyed it a lot.
BABIESSSS 🥺😭❤️❤️
the wrap-up for this arc and this episode gave me whiplash sdjlfkjsdf. it literally speedruns thru legosi's predation conviction, being released, louis & haru's graduation, and legosi deciding he's going to drop out of school. that is SO MUCH AT ONCE. also i was holding out hope that legosi would have his new years call with haru after the fight instead but that didnt happen!! so it just got cut!!! kinda mad about that tbh. legosi and haru having a lil scene at the very end made up for it a lil bit but that's still one of haru's few moments in this arc that's just not included.
we didnt even get the part wher legosi learns he can't marry haru bc of his conviction.
ive been really hoping for a season 3 announcement once this season ended. with all the background allusions to yahya, the added plot point of someone stealing elephant tusks, and sebun and melon's lil cameos in this season, it seemed to me that studio orange was kinda teasing a 3rd season. but now, with the dismissive way the anime ended, and paru's note from earlier today, im less sure about the possibility of a 3rd season. i'd still like to see the rest of the series animated, but i guess we'll just have to wait and see if more anime is announced in the future.
if we do get another season in the future i just hope that we swing back around and actually address the things that got completely glossed over in the last couple minutes of this episode instead of charging forward w/o touching them again.
i really think the finale for this arc should've been two episodes at least. not including the tunnel scene. i think then things wouldn't have felt so rushed. people have been saying this season really would have benefitted from at least 1 extra episode and i cant help but agree. some have even suggested a whole 24 episodes just for this arc, but i think that this arc couldve been done properly with 12 or 13 episodes if there was some better prioritizing on what to include and what to cut.
like i dont mind not getting the parts about legosi's family if they can be addressed somehow in a future season (or if theres no more future anime seasons thats a plot thread that doesnt have to be worried about). i could have lived w/o seeing sheila & peach's chapter animated if it meant more time for the focus of this arc. and was the kangaroo red herring really necessary?
adaptation wise, i dont think this season was as good as the first. i still think it did fairly well, but i know that it could have been much better. ive been excited to watch this season with my friends once the dub releases, but now im wondering if i should just tell them to read the manga instead. sighs idk. perhaps it comes thru better as a bingewatch, or perhaps im being a bit too harsh. idk. at some point ill do a rewatch and see how i feel about the season as a whole, but that wont be for a while.
if you've read this far, thanks for reading my ramblings!! it's been fun to make these posts every week and im gonna miss getting new episodes every week.

So we might all found it out that a very important part of Catastrophe at 16 light novels weren't on its manga (that major scene about Guren and Shinya talking together after Shinya saved Guren from Seishiro) and as the first one who found it out the moment that chapter 38 had been released then I can completely do understand people are too mad and angry (I talked about it on my Instagram long ago the moment that chapter 38 released)
But why Asami did this?
Or was it even Asami sensei or Kagami?!
Well I tell you that was Kagami's decisione.
Why?
Can you remember Catastrophe at 16 manga chapter 37?
And then can you remember ONS main manga chapter 96?
Yes dears Catastrophe at 16 last chapter was a door to ONS main manga.
So I think that was Kagami who asked Asami sensei to skip that very important part of novel (Although I still hope that Asami sensei will draw that scene later at least as a bonus chapter)
But why Kagami would want such thing?
Cause this chapter of Catastrophe at 16 (chapter 38) RELATES to ONS main manga future chapter (chapter 97).
So exactly cause this I guess that ONS next chapter won't continue Krul and Yuu's story anymore and will back to the main plot again.
(Hopefully)

TGCF Book 3 Reaction pt.2 - Ghost City pt. 2 & another Puqi Shrine Short
Wow, reading through my notes made me realize how much I have marked for book 3. Whether it’s romantic Hualian moments, shocking reveals, or speculations of what is to come. There is a lot in here and there is almost 100 chapters of content cause book 3 is almost 100 chapters apparently.
((Holy shit, book 3 is almost 100 chapters and I didn’t realize it until now *hehe* I’m in trouble cause how much is in the last two books?))
Well, going to try and divide this as much as I can. Might just continue splitting things off based on their sections cause of my impatience.
Ghost City Pt. 2 - The Electric Bongo
Ch 96: A mysterious masked man arrives who is the same guy with the cursed shakle
- Me: Who is this guy? Another banished god like Xie Lian?
Hua Cheng laughing brightens up Xie Lian any day
Residents of Ghost City’s attitude to Xie Lian change once they see him walking with Hua Cheng on a date because they all know that whoever walks with Hua Chengzu is Important.
Exploring Ghost City and having the residents flock towards Xie Lian while excitingly showing off their wares
- MF Shoujo manga vibes where the MC learns about the fun side to the ML’s demonic lair that very few *cough MC cough* ever experience
Ghost City call Hua Cheng grand-daddy and have collectively decided dub Xie Lian “Grand-Uncle”
- Does this mean Xie Lian is now Ghost City’s Grunkle?
Ghost City tries to feed Xie Lian Ghost City’s ‘delicacies’.
- Me: Oh god, I love the enthusiasm.
Ch 97: To Compose in Nuit Blanche; Fragrance Added by Red Sleeves
- Me: Okay Nuit Blanche either means a sleepless night or an art museum.
- Also Me: I’m going to be this chapter is going to be about an art museum
Introducing Qiandeng Temple and describing it as an obvious land mark of the city
- Me: How did Xie Lian miss that?
Hua Cheng causally mentions he built the temple and released the 3000 lanterns before the Mid Autumn Festival for Xie Lian
- Me: WHIPPED!
The design of the temple is like Xie Lian’s temples from long ago, but better.
Xie Lian discovers Hua Cheng’s handwriting quality
- Me: Hua Cheng writes Chicken Scratch!
“Xie Lian thought, “How come every time I come, Paradise Manor get set on fire?” (Ch 98)
- Me: Good question. That is also my question
Paradise Manor has an anti-theft protection on it, which means anyone can enter, but if they steal, they can’t leave.
- Me: So does this mean the vents/air passages have gremlins living in there?
Xie Lian has a new case to bring to the Heavenly Realm that involves a Fetus Spirit
- Me: Dang, what if this actually traces back to Pei Ming? Then Heaven would think Xie Lian has some beef against the palace of Pei
Fetus Spirit case is closed. It turns out that Xie Lian’s body did disappear and that it’s the same body traveling around.
Back at Puqi Shrine with Hua Cheng visiting
Ch 101
- Me: I have learned that E-Ming is like an excitable dog or cat. E-Ming and Ruoye are the excitable children while Fangxin is the tired uncle. Hua Cheng and Xie Lian are talking in the background like a married couple while the kids play.
- Me: Realizing some ways into the story that there are like ten mysteries/story events that haven’t been resolved/are still on going.
Xie Lian gives his disastrous dishes cute names like that would help. Qi Rong b*tches about the taste

Bokura no Kiseki - chapter 97 quick summary
Date of release: 28th March 2020
Translation is yet to be done.
So this is probably the last chapter of volume 22... and oh boy, it still continue to amaze me. Now we caught up with English scans, it’s only chapter that is not yet available, te-he. We’re still on 6th June, Thursday, continuing Nishina’s interrogation and the magic test of the rest of the class members.
(well, spoilers ahead!)
Part 1: Minami and Nishina secret talk
So last chapter Nishina approached Minami and appealed to his inner Veronica to wiggle out of trouble. It’s still heavy raining, so the others don’t hear what they say, even if they are standing pretty close. Takao warned Nishina not to come closer, so she stands between them. Nishina just dismiss her saying that it’s not her place to act here, acting on her loyalty toward her master. He’s mocking her. Minami also feels provoked by that, and responds they don’t lack actors, so he sees no need to back him up... Nishina knows Minami’s weakness and goes straight ahead to exploit it. He informs Minami, whispering into his ear, that what he said back then, when Minami named himself Eugene, was the truth. The part about betrayers on Zerestria’s side... among servants. A spy working for an unknown party, pretending to work for the Church, but actually not Church’s pawn... and Nishina really doesn’t want to reveal his identity to this person. So he asks Minami to carry the rest of magic test, because there should be a person among servants who can use magic... and it will work for both of their advantage.
Part 2: Let’s continue the magic trial
Hasebe is calling out to them, having enough of standing in the rain, in suspension, watching them secretly talking. She asks Nishina to reveal his name, but Nishina just refuses and... calls upon Glen Schreiber (and Schreiber, not Alphard). Hiroki is surprised and not happy, because she wanted to announce at this meeting, that Glen is here, but she decided not to, because Glen’s reason for staying in the shadows is the same as Nishina’s and it would work out in his favor... but Nishina gives her no choice. So yes, she admits that Glen is here. And of course Nishina asks her then why he won’t come out... there’s no answer, but Nishina doesn’t care, as he uses it to explain it to the rest of class, that as they can see, there are few others who might not want to reveal their identities because they have their reasons, while adding cunningly, that he is actually jealous of those, who can come out in the open with no worries. It spurs Hasebe and others to prove their innocence, and Ootomo is continuing the trial. No one among servants can use magic... Minami thinks to himself that it lower the chances, but they can’t rule it out completely yet too. And here comes last person to check: Zeze. Ootomo is anxious because this magic test checks also some magic that prince Eugene could use... Minami also panics a little, hoping Zeze is not planing to do anything weird... in the end, Zeze could not use any magic. Does it mean the trial can be... cheated? The school bell rings for the end of break, so they head back to the classroom.
Part 3: On way to the classroom
Right before leaving the scene, of course Nishina must provoke Ootomo, mocking him that his mission is still protecting and overlooking over believers. Then we see Abe (silent and hesitant about learning that Watanabe is Ashley) and Nanaura... still in shock. He now clearly remembers stabbing Ashley... and regret it, of course. He can’t face (smiling at him) Watanabe, but at least he admits he feels reassured that Ashley is also there. Hiroki tries to put a little more show with Nanaura, yelling at him to reveal who Nishina is (in front of Nishina, of course). Nanaura thinks there’s still a danger that revealing Nishina’s identity will result in death, but he’s also aware that it’s not only a matter of time until that happens so... right before the class, Minami informs Nishina he’s going to discuss what he told him with a handful of aides. Nishina doesn’t seem to mind that.
Part 4: Minami and company
Minami talks about what Nishina told him with others: Ootomo, Teshimano, Moto (since when Moto is part of his group?), Hiroki and Takao. They of course suspect, that it might’ve been only garbage so Nishina could focus their attention elsewhere, just not on him. Takao seems puzzled... Nishina seemed frantic when he sought the princess’s help, but she can’t tell if this was only an act either. But as they wanted to check everyone anyway, so they decided to just go on with their plan... there’s Kikuchi and Enomoto left to check. And then, Moto remembers... Calvin’s death. He remembers hearing roars of invading Moswick forces. And being assaulted with magic by someone. Someone in servant robe, with Zerestria’s earring. He was shocked and hesitated for a split second and... that cost him his very life. That servant killed him with magic, while blowing an enormous hole in the castle wall. That’s how Calvin died and now Moto can prove Nishina’s words... there was a spy among servants.
Part 5: Nishina under attack
Late in the evening, Nishina is on his way back, when he’s suddenly attacked with magic. And it’s... Zeze. He throws back his hoodie and show his face. And Nishina looks like he want to flee, so Zeze is firing some magic again, aiming for his leg. He grabs him by his t-shirt and nonchalantly says he got tired of waiting this tedious farce. He mocks Nishina, that of course if he asks Minami for help, he won’t say no. He’s not wanting to give up on learning Nishina’s true identity. Nishina’s not backing of yet, so Zeze plays with him... so who am I, what do you think? Prince? Glen? Or servant spy? Then he gives him a clue, and quotes Lucas yelling at Carlo for not helping him out (oh so Eugene WAS there). Zeze mocks him for toying too much with Ootomo-sensei for that lol. After that, he asks Nishina if he’s Lucas... he admits. At last page, Nishina realizes, that Zeze must’ve been there too, of course. And Zeze is putting “innocent” face and playing it off like... oops, seems like I gave out my identity too. With that kind of face.
The end of chapter.
This chapter was sponsored by hot badass Zeze. I was totally surprised he decided to act all on his own (I doubt he told about this to anyone, honestly). And he didn’t have to mock Nishina or push him so much... but he finds Lucas (and Nishina too) extremely irritating so he couldn’t help it. And he put himself in superior position for sure. A little payback for pushing Zeze around, when he was an innocent boy, and for almost killing his best buddy. Well, he deserved that and it’s hell satisfying to see that haha.
So Nishina talked out his way... and our attention switched to even greater enemy, I guess? There was no way Lucas was “just a bad guy”, and I totally can tell that Kumeta-sensei is doing perfect job into making him gray. He’s not innocent... but he done everything that was necessary to carry out his own mission huh. And now it seems that even Lucas was afraid of someone...
Just who could be this spy? Judging from what we saw, maybe Cordelia (Enomoto’s past). The one who attacked Calvin looked like a girl. We know not much about Cordelia, aside from that she died before the activation of the pillar of light (Bella and Mimi saw her dead body). My guess is she was Evan’s spy, because she knew precisely when Moswick army attack took place, she was already on her way to find Ishmael’s spy and eliminate him. Or who knows, maybe Aldras’ spy? Or maybe there was more spies... Kikuchi is definitely VERY suspicious too. And that spy... who could it be, occupation-wise? A priest? A noble? That magic was powerful enough to smash experienced, strong knight as Calvin, and make a hole in the wall.
Remember how Ooki was messaging with Enomoto chapter ago? She promised she will tell her in anything happens... Now Ooki feels betrayed by a guy she likes. She’s conflicted and sad, so she will surely quickly tell everything to Enomoto. And if Enomoto is a spy, it’s exactly what Nishina didn’t want. So ultimately, Ooki will bring... a huge distaster on the guy she likes. Who knows, maybe this time it will be Nishina who will be hunted, and Ootomo will decide to save him this time?
We also see that Zeze was fine on magic test. How? But given his example, we can be almost sure, one can cheat at that test, so it’s not reliable at all.
Why in the first place Zeze decided to approach Nishina? Without a doubt, after today, Zeze was sure he is Lucas. And two chapter ago, they had that conversation they NEED to remember about parts their forget... and only bishop Gale or Lucas knew them. Bishop is not possible, but hey, Lucas is there. And as Eugene, he probably remembers he wasn’t of much a threat to him, so he decided to approach him. After all, for long time, Lucas mission was to guard him, and it was Eugene who betrayed him. I hope we will hear their conversation in next chapter!
Oh boy, one long-standing question is answered -- but many others still pop up. I love this manga.

One Piece; Is it really all that?
TL;DR - It is, but does that mean you should read it?
I spent the majority of the month of December getting caught up in the grand tale of One Piece so that I could enjoy it by the time it hit it’s 1,000th chapter. While I did end up being a little late, getting fully caught up two or three days after the 1,000th chapter was released, I feel that I was able to say I really did accomplish this.
One Piece is a grand tale, an exciting tale. It is also an excruciatingly long tale. There are 1001 chapters in One Piece currently and each chapter contains around 16-19 pages per. Shonen Jump series all start with a chapter that’s roughly 50 pages, followed by one that’s 25, which if we go by an average of 18 pages per chapter, we would end up with 18,057 total pages! There are currently 97 volumes out in the original Japanese, and 95 in English.
So where does that leave us? It’s a dauntingly massive series to try to get into! But would I say it was worth reading the whole thing?
Yes, I would. It was a fantastic read. And I’m not just telling myself that due to the sunken cost fallacy. (more on that here)
One Piece is truly a grand journey, one that I can barely describe in a single blog post. It’s got action. It’s got comedy. It’s got drama. It’s got exceptional main and side characters. It’s got an incredibly charming yet intricately thought out world that’s full of fantastic creatures, locales, and peoples. Following Monkey D. Luffy and his pirate crew is enthralling. He is a charming lead, and his crew is equally charming as well. Each member they pick up along the way gets their own time to shine, so you truly feel like you’re getting to see what they can do. The whole series just oozes charm.
And yet, it’s difficult to say that everyone should drop what they’re doing and read this. It’s fantastic, sure, and I personally really enjoyed it, but will everyone enjoy it the same? Of course not.
There are some slow parts that I didn’t like quite as much as the rest of the story, one of which caused me to drop the series for several months earlier in the year, only to pick it back up late November - early December. And while many other Shonen manga are easy to read, One Piece is surprisingly wordy. I like to consider myself a fast reader and yet some of these chapters took me quite a bit longer to read than I’d expect a chapter of a Shonen manga to take. Most Shonen chapters tend to take me less than five minutes, with One Piece chapters seeming to take between six and eight minutes per chapter on occasion. This isn’t a negative, per se, but it did make it feel like certain parts of the story I was less enthralled with lasted forever.
But therein lies the biggest problem with recommending the series to people: it’s length. It’s a 1001 chapter long story with many story arcs which don’t all hit the same notes. Most of the arcs in One Piece are fantastic, but several are less so, and one or two are just not good. While the overarching tale is a great one, the minute to minute action sometimes leaves you uninterested.
But there’s more to One Piece than just the story. As manga is a visual medium there’s also the art to contend with, and it’s fantastic. Across the entire time I was reading I may have gotten tired of the story at points, but I never got tired of the art. Eiichiro Oda’s creative character designs melded with his gorgeous backdrops and smooth action sequences made the fights seem to float off the paper. It’s so easy to visualize the sword strokes Zoro is taking, or the punches that Luffy makes. The art is just fantastic, all the way through.
But “should I read it?” you may ask. And while I can gush about the characters and art and the story and the locales way more than I even scratched the surface with here, I can’t answer that question for you. It’s a long series. While dedicated, hardcore, long time fans of the series may always tell you that it’s the best thing ever and you have to read it, I’m saying that it’s a tough call to make. It’s incredibly long, parts of it were slightly hard to follow, some parts got boring. On the other hand, some arcs were some of the best I’ve ever read in manga. The Summit War saga and the Wano Kuni saga were so great that for each of them I ended up spending the whole day reading, totaling around 100 chapters a day for both of those arcs. And while, really, most stuff once they get into the Grand Line is wonderful, it’s still 100 chapters to get there. That’s the entire length of a smaller manga! You could read all of a newer Shonen Jump manga like Chainsawman (97 chapters) or get most of the way through Jujutsu Kaisen (135 chapters) in 100 chapters.
So should you read One Piece? The better question to ask is “Do I want to read one manga that’s 10 manga long?”
Because that’s the main thing, you could read 10 or more other manga in the time it takes you to read One Piece. Or you could read other long-form shonen manga like My Hero Academia (297 chapters) and Black Clover (278 chapters). Both of them are still less than the total number of chapters it takes to get to the time skip in One Piece (597 chapters). This isn’t to discourage, though it may feel like it, but it is a big time commitment. And while, if you’re fast, dedicated, and have 2 weeks to kill, you can grab a Shonen Jump subscription through VIZ and hit their 100 chapter limit 10 days in a row and get caught up in 10 days, it took me the better part of a month to get caught up, and I finally did on January 5th, two days after chapter 1000 came out.
But I suppose the real best question is just “Do you want to?” because if you’ve spent this whole time reading this to help you decide, I think you’re interested enough to give it a go. I don’t usually like recommending series where you have to put in a major time commitment before you’re sure if you like it, but One Piece really is that special. It’s a gem. And while there were parts I didn’t like and other parts I wasn’t incredibly keen on, some parts have become my favorite parts in all of manga, and it is a truly special thing to experience.

Top Ten Anime
Its that time of year again. The time of year I post my anime review list for my personal picks for the best anime of all time. You can disagree with me if you want, you’ll be wrong, but you can. As per usual I will give a brief synopsis of each anime when I get to them in the list. Prepare to see many of the ones that were on last year but there have been a few new additions. Now without further adieu let us begin.
Number 10 Azumanga Daioh
It's cute it’s funny it’s Azumanga Daioh. Follow the tale of a group of high school girls who may be missing a few screws as they adventure through their daily lives. This show is one of comedy and laughs. It sticks close to the core of what makes it fun and doesn’t through you for a curve. By far my favorite comedy Anime of all time. If you really enjoy it check out the manga as well it is a blast. Not much to say about this one so moving right along.
Number 9 Black Lagoon
Black Lagoon is a staple of the three B’s of anime those being Boobs, Bullets, and Businessman. What happens when a young salary worker is forced into a mercenary band of Americans? Well, you get Black Lagoon. An action anime through and through. Every episode is tackling some new problem. Some of these problems are entertaining like neo-nazis on a boat but others will tug at your heartstrings. One of the few anime that can keep a light-hearted tone then switch to a different genre within seconds and make it work. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get into anime.
Number 8 Death Parade
Everybody put your hands up! God dang does this opening rock. I mean its completely misleading but the song is such a jammer that it doesn’t matter. Ever wonder what happens when you die, do you rise to heaven or be banished to Hell? Well, the characters in Death Parade will try to help answer that problem. By playing the games found in their bar people will expose their darkest secrets and I do mean darkest. Not for the faint of heart but worth a watch. If you want to see a heartwarming touching show that also has some heavy philosophical concepts Death parade is right for you. Has one of the best scenes in all of anime near the end. I will amendment I was balling like a baby during parts of this show.
Number 7 Trigun
Trigun the space western that tells the tale of the most wanted man who ever existed. What did the man do to become so wanted, especially when all the guy seems to do is tumble his way through life? Well, I’m not telling you but its fun figuring it out. A great show with some stand-up comedy. Like Black-Lagoon the tone of each episode can vary greatly but its never not enjoyable. This is a show where the plot sneaks up on you and by the time your in the thick of it you’ll be eating everything up. One of the only anime to have a pair of insurance girls as main characters so that's a plus. If you liked Cowboy Bebop you love Trigun.
Number 6 Future Diary
Future Diary is the show that really got me into anime. I remember watching this for the first time and staying up until four in the morning to binge it even though I said I was only going to watch two episodes. This show put me through the wringer and I loved every second of it. Future Diary has great character creation and has a way to make you stop and look at how people can break. Beautiful animation and great fight scenes future diary also is the origin of the modern Yandere. This show will always have a special place in my heart.
Number 5 Last Exile
This show is so good and has such wonderful world building I don’t know where to start. The basic premise is steampunk world but it is much much more than that. Last Exile creates a massive narrative that leaves you sitting on the edge of your seat. The budget for this show was crap so they made up for it by telling an awesome story. So much happens in this show it almost feels like three shows despite only being a twenty-six episode series. The characters are dynamic and fell real. The situations they find themselves in are interesting and everything comes together in the end in one massive finally.
Number 4 Berserk (Original 1990′s version and theatrical releases)
I’m going, to be honest with you these shows exist to get you into the manga. Also, Mirua finish the god damn manga already its been thirty years. Anywho the berserk anime before 2017 are all lovely. My recommendation is to watch the one that came out in 97 first then watch the three movies that cover the same time period. The anime goes into more depth into the story while the movies give berserk the awesome animation it deserves. The story is dark and bleak sometimes oppressively so but the plot and characters will have you blitzing through every moment. Berserk is good enough to be taught in a writing class for its nature, and I to this day wait patiently for each manga chapter to come out. All I can say is push through the darkness struggler.
Number 3 Serial Experiments Lain
Award for best pajamas in an Anime goes to this show as well as the reward for making one of the most confusing convoluted shows to watch. Every scene in this show means something. The narrative is one that hits the ground at 90mph and doesn’t stop. Through every twist and turn, more questions are raised and the answers never seem to come. In order to truly enjoy Lain one will have to watch the show multiple times and even then you may be missing large aspects of the show. People have hundreds of theories with each theory seeming reasonable or sound. My recommendation watch this show with an open mind and theorize as you go. Don’t go online looking for answers you won’t find ones that suite your ideas. When you finish then you can look around but truth be told the theory you come up with might be as factual as any of the other ones.
Number 2 Madoka Magica
What does it mean to love someone? Does it mean doing whatever it takes to save them no matter what the cost is? Does love come from self-sacrifice or is it something greater still? Madoka Magica will have you pondering this and more as you go through the episodes. This show has the best art in an anime I have ever seen. Each character has their own unique ark that plays into the central plot line. Each villain has their own unique style that shows up when the girls are facing them. Even typing about this show is making me gush about how good it is. I strongly recommend this to everyone and anyone. This is an anime where I can honestly not think of a single flaw in it.
Number 1 Tie Evangelion & Haibane Renmei
Before you get mad at me, yes I know I’m cheating but I honestly can’t rank either of these below the number 1 spot. Both of these shows have changed the way I look at the world. Evangelion made me look at myself in an entirely new way and Haibane makes me cry justing talking about it. I honestly love both of these shows even though each has a budget of two dollars. Evangelion tells the tale of a group of children who are tasked with defending humanity. Each child will be tested in that task with. Haibane tells the tale of a girl finding her place in the world and learning to help others. Both shows are brilliant pieces that I will never forget. I am being vague about both of them on purpose in order not to spoil anything but definitely give both of these a watch some time. Also, a tip when you go to watch Evangelion watch it in this order ep1-24 then End of Eva ep25-26 then the rebuilds.
Well, that's it another year completed another list uploaded. If anyone has questions feel free to message me and I am more than happy to talk. Lets hope for a great 2019!

My Highlights of 2019
So with 2019 coming to a close (and I have to say that the year has come and gone... but I strangely had times that slowed down). This year I recently started to use hashtags so that is a learning experience and maybe get myself noticed for a while.
Ships of 2019 ❤️
Beau and Jester (Critical Role Season 2)
Catra and Adora (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power)
Movies 🎥 🍿
youtube
This year my local cinema was closed for refurnishment so I never got to watch much movies this year. I used to like going to the movies but there is this unwritten rule where ‘you can’t go into a cinema on my own’ and ‘going to a U-Rated (Universal) as an adult without a child is frowned upon.’ So I think you know what? I’ll get the movie physically so I can watch it twice as it pays for my cinema ticket. Maybe in the new year I’ll hunt down the MCU Boxsets.
Avengers: Endgame 🥇
🍿 Captain Marvel 🥈
Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse 🥉
Sonic the Hedgehog (So glad Sonic got an update!)
Avengers: Infinity War
Spider-Man: Far From Home
🍿 Steven Universe: The Movie
🍿 Black Panther
Doctor Strange
Frozen 2 (My principle still stands that I detest Frozen)
How to Train Your Dragon
💿 Lord of the Rings
💿 Thor Ragnarok
Guardians of the Galaxy
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
Spider-Man: Homecoming
🍿 Toy Story 4
The Hobbit (ONLY the first 2 films!)
Spirited Away
Movie Characters
Live Action TV 📺
Animated TV 📺
TV Characters
Music Groups 🎤🎸🥁
Musicals 🎭
youtube
Just the one musical that I’ve enjoyed this year and that is...
Beetlejuice (Beetlejuice, being young and naive doesn’t mean that I’m an easy mark.)
Books 📚
This year I have promised myself that I’d read a new book once a month back in 2018 and it came back with a vengeance in 2019 and I have been enjoying reading more that I prefer fantasy and built such a small library. Yes, this year I’ve been spending less time watching television and giving my imagination a creativity an exercise. I think in 2020, I’ll try to give YA novels a chance... yet I noticed the YA protagonists are female. I want to try Leigh Bardugo’s Trilogy, The Throne of Glass, The Mortal Instrumentals and more of Rick Riordan. I do kind of feel bad for not reading The Simarrillion (as I never got into books as a child/teenager).
Harry Potter series 🥇
Percy Jackson and the Olympians 🥉
A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones)
Discworld
Good Omens
Authors and Poets 📚✒️
Video Games 🎮
youtube
So I’ve been spending less money on video games this year it feels like it’s a good thing but sometimes we have to be adult about things in this day and age because responsibility demands sacrifice. I do find life difficult at times but I know that I can pop in a CD and find enjoyment in the games that I want to play. So what about the video games that aren’t on the Tumblr fandom list? Well to abridge my list... Trails of Cold Steel 1 & 2, Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2: Enhanced Edition and Planescape Torment & Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition, King of Fighters 2000, King of Fighters ‘97, Fatal Fury Special and Garou: Mark of the Wolves. I was ecstatic to hear Terry Bogard being in Smash. But what about those games that are no Tumblr but not on mine? It’s simple, I’m not interested in them.
Overwatch 🥇
Minecraft 🥈
🎮 Fire Emblem: Three Houses 🥉
Undertale
🎮 Pokémon Sword and Shield
🎮 The Sims 4
🎮 Persona 5 (I can’t wait for Royal)
Deltarune
🎮 Danganrompa
🎮 Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Can’t wait for the sequel)
Stardew Valley
🎮 Borderlands 3
🎮 Kingdom Hearts III
Detroit: Become Human
🎮 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
🎮 Ace Attorney (Still salty about not having Miles Edgeworth Investigations and The Great Ace Attorney though)
Taletale: The Walking Dead
🎮 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
🎮 Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Cyberpunk 2077
Dragon Age Inquisition
🎮 Fallout 4
Minecraft ⛏
I’ve stopped watching Minecraft videos for about 2 years now (as I loved the Yogscast), but I somehow do miss playing it on my phone or on a console, I think in 2020 I will get a copy on the Switch because one of my friends have been playing Minecraft on the Switch.
Mobile Games/Apps 📱
To be honest, I don’t do any form of mobile gaming (I’m mostly against the idea of ‘micro transactions’ just the sake of pay to win). Like when it comes to video games on computers and consoles I will gladly get the DLC to give my games more depth and longer replay value.
Video Game Characters
Raphael (Fire Emblem: Three Houses)
Pokémon
youtube
So with Pokémon Sword and Shield being released, I was having some mixed feelings about it. Did I like the Thanos snap? I can live with it. Did I like the new pokémon? Some of them are a hit and miss (I liked the starters, I chose Scorbunny at first but when I was spoiled with Grooky’s final evolution... I jumped ship). Do I like the Dynamax/Gigantamax system? To be honest I was hoping for Armoured Evolutions.
Brand New World
Grooky Gang
Anime & Manga
Web Celebrities
Web Series
So with me losing interest in television comes a rise in watching my shows online. I normally do enjoy watching Critical Role on Monday (as I need some sleep on Friday at silly o’clock in the morning) but I have enjoyed discovering Sander’s Side (YouTube’s version of Pixar’s Inside Out) and listening to The Adventure Zone that I bought the comics (I can’t wait for Volume 3) and Dimension 20’s Fantasy High.
Critical Role 🥇
RWBY 🥈
Sander’s Sides 🥉
The Adventure Zone
Camp Camp
Hazbin Hotel
gen:LOCK
Dimension 20
Memes
I will never understand memes (so please don’t ask)
OK, Boomer!
Raiding Area 51
Thicc is the new Phat
Tumblr Communities
So I stated that this year that I would be reading a book once a month and I have started to appreciate them more than I do with Television and Video Games so I’ve been blogging what books that I have read and eventhough I don’t know what is getting released (like I do with video games and movies). I have been enjoying starting out with bookblr.
Bookblr
Art Styles
Beauty & Fashion Brands 👕👖🥾
Sadly, I gained a lot of weight this year that I now have to get size 46 waist jeans and chinos so I buy clothing from Bad Rhino (I am not proud of myself for that), but the good news is that my brushing/flossing have been improving and I have stopped biting my nails ever since I bought myself nail clippers.
Astrology ♒️
I don’t really follow astrology but I like to look at the Aquarius posts for fits and gigs so apparently Aquarius is in 3rd place in the trending.

That replies post again
Lets start with a qt Kirara bc almost nobody liked how she died lol.
I had to log in here in the laptop. Since it’s not mine I don’t feel comfortable... So far I’ve been posting and replying via phone which is an eternal hassle.
Again, thank you from the bottom of my boat heart for your kind messages!!(boat heart emoji bc I can post them here lol)
.....I’m sorry I didn’t realize I had missed so many of them!
@mdlouie No prob!! I think it’s totally OK to start with student grade supplies. I mean, buying artist grade right out of the bat it’s not wise in my own opinion since it doesn’t guarantee their particular propieties will be benefitial to you(Like there are watercolor brands that are super easy to re-wet and very vibrant, but they tend to be kinda lifting so layering may be difficult, other brands are the opposite) There is always a learning curve with art supplies, whatever the grade they are. To me, learning using both of material grades is not a waste of time, new adquired knowledge will never be a waste of time!
Now, what I didn’t come to agree at first but now I have to admit it was a big improvement is to use cotton watercolor paper. In special for characters with dark skin like Chouchou. I struggled so so much with having a flat wash on the skin, and I blamed the watercolors(The pigments, because earth color pigments tend to create granulation) But for example this:
The wash on her face came out really nicely! I think you can have both papers(I def have more of the student grade/not proper watercolor paper than the artist grade/cotton haha)And practice on both.IMO watercolor is a lot about water control but also a lot of learning where to place your brushstrokes. Practicing your brushstrokes in cheaper paper is good bc you don’t have that fear of ruining expensive paper with your practices. Water control is better to be practiced in the expensive one. Uhm I hope I’m making sense!
@letherebewisdom Aw! Thank you!! I defenitely don’t want to stop yet!
@kiagumo Perdón por la gran demora en responderte!! No, no!
@alinakz-97 Well, your guesses could be right. I’m def curious lol!
@mdlouie Yay for them indeed!!
@miss-akimichi It’s Chouchou! I added to much red there haha. Perhaps the sameface syndrome is strong in me. But when I draw Karui I try to make her eyes sharper and her skin darker than Chouchou.
@sugarriene I think I read Choji being scared of lizzards somewhere! Maybe Chouchou is scared of snakes? I still think it was a little weird but 100% sure that’s...all in my head lol.
Now, what I meant with medic...Or perhaps should I have said doctor? Like Sakura or Tsunade being perpetual doctors... In special Sakura that has it as her daily job. I can’t see Inojin like that(Maybe a little with Mitsuki because of the team 7 karma... I’m still unsure of this. The biggest mystery of Boruto is who is going to get the frog and the slug... Since it looks like everyone is getting snakes XD) I wish the Yamanaka flower shop being a cover for the sensing division was brought up sooner in the manga because it’s damn cool(Someone correct me, or was it added after the Pain attack?) The future I see for Inojin is being that handsome guy that runs the flower shop and he is seen painting ocasionally, but it turns out he has this secret agent thing going on.
BTW anybody remembers the Nara being skilled in medicine/pharmaceutics? Why are they never the medics of their teams? In the prev gen it was understandable since Ino’s ability was more in the support side, but the current gen, they are very able to haddle by themselves(Considering both Shikadai and Inojin inherited other techniques like wind release and the beast scroll)
Welp, I didn’t want to write this tldr haha. I may be wrong with this reasoning, I just hope I’m not straying out too much of the facts.
@hotmonkeelove Let’s hope they show more Anko interacting with the kids. I keep thinking there must be a reason why Chouchou and Anko were afiliated aside from “lol chubbies“ I want SP to deliver but they have dissapointed me so many times...
@ascrolluponthemoon I think it would be cool! And honestly I think snakes match their personalities better. Katsuyu for Mitsuki? Their colors match and they are both very polite but it feels wrong xD? Same with Sarada and HOT BLOODED ACTION Gamabunta(Or is it going to be Gamakichi?) Dunno, feels weird, but it is one of the things I’m looking forward to see.
@nite-baron Thank you so much for your hard work!! I’m looking forward to it.
@miss-akimichi Yes!! Defenitely. But you have to babysit the sites and its annoying. If I find cute Mitsuki and Chouchou merchandise, I will let you guys know. Just in case it might interest you alll and you want to get it before it’s sold out lol.
@miss-akimichi No prob! Thanks to you for posting such cute headcanon! I...uh.. I was drawing a comic but I’m unsure of posting it. They came to be a little touchy with each other since they are married adults and stuff(Defenitely it’s not nsfw! But I can see some people be bothered with it haha) Perhaps I will post it under a read more... or simply ask you guys if you want me to post it.
@mdlouie Thank you!! You are very kind! We are def better! At the very least we recovered our voices XD Since it’s a virus, you have to wait for it to pass. But yes, we are better now.
@flyflywingedbear -_- Yeah me too! Its painfully obvious the Mitsuki arc is just an extender for the anime not to catch the manga. Who is popular? Mitsuki? Well, let’s drag the story with this LONG arc that promises to focus on his background but it turns out we will not touch it haha. The max offender was both the OP and the ED XD We got a bunch of cute inoshikacho moments and development tho, I can forgive those parts. But for a “Mitsuki arc” it lacked of the Mitsuki POV. How many episodes had to pass for him to say he felt like he was not reaching his friends? I felt cheated and offended. As expected of a series named Boruto, son of Naruto.
Thank you so much for the cutest messages in the lastest comic! I told you this was going to be very cute XD The only reason why I felt to doing more than the Valentine one(Which is more romantic, also they are a tad older, like 13 to 14)

September’s PSA - More anime, deeper emotional trainwreck
The month will look like a bit chiller than usual, but the current is still maintained thanks to season 3′s current episodes. As September begins, we’ve already finished the first part of the first cour, already several inches deep in the anime adaptation of the Uprising arc, unraveling the mysteries planning around Historia’s family, Levi’s origins, and how Eren is such a big deal for the current king of the Walls.
The first cour should end at the beginning of next month, and even at the end of this month, the plan to recapture Wall Maria should be set in motion, even developing a segment that the beginning of the anime didn’t explore yet: Eren doing hardening training, a vital point to elaborate if the watcher wants to know how Eren is going to plug the holes in Shiganshina, in particular the one Bertolt made 5 years ago.
Meanwhile in the manga, next month will reveal the contents of chapter 109, the third chapter of volume 27. Considering chapter 108 ended on Reiner’s assault proposal, chapter 109 will, most likely, resume the debate about whether Marley should attack early, or wait for the international army to gather.
Meanwhile, several events on Paradis are left pending. For starters, we have Gabi and Falco going in Dauper village for lunch. While it’s ironic Gabi goes to her victim’s birthplace, I doubt she’s going to have some “redemption” arc fandom loves this much. It’s the perfect opportunity to talk about the events happening in Ragako village, especially if it’s to hint further or confirm, that the wine Marleyans have been giving to Paradis contained Zeke’s spinal fluid. Armin is setting Eren to have a talk with him and Mikasa, that’s not going to end up well.
Finally, something I’m expecting is a 4th flashback to complete the Paradis flashback saga, especially since we still haven’t got the triggering point where Eren finally goes outside Paradis to get Zeke, which should’ve happened right before Historia got pregnant. Also, Isayama is doing a pattern with long flashbacks lately. Start at the end of a volume and have the climax on the third chapter of the next volume:
Grisha’s logs: started at the end of vol. 21 to give intense exposition on Marley, ended at chapter 89 on Kruger’s ominous line, as well as his final orders.
Reiner’s flashback: started at the end of vol. 23 with his dream as a child, ended in chapter 97 on his suicide tentative.
So a flashback this month would definitely be conclusive for how Eren slowly decided to take the matter of Paradis’ position into his own hands, and what he and Zeke intend to plan together.
Manga spoilers will be released sooner than usual, since the chapter will be available the 7th at midnight in japan instead of the 9th. Expect the chapter to be leaked 100% for sure the 5th. As a reminder, I’ll keep the #snk_spoilers and #snk_109 as spoiler tags, as usual.
September is also old fart month it seems:
3rd: Karina Braun
5th: Hange Zoe
9th: Aurille (the shit-machine guy)
11th: Flegel Reeves
13th: Dot Pixis
15th: Rod Reiss
20th: Dita Ness
22nd: Daz
24th: Rashad
26th: Zofia / Luke Siss
29th: Darius Baer-Varbrun

June’s PSA
May’s PSA
April’s PSA
March’s PSA

Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Episode 97 Release Date: The Tear of God
Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Episode 97 is already set to release this weekend. In the current generation of anime, Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai is one of the most popular series. It began airing in October 2020, based on the Dragon Quest video game series. In September 2020 and October 2020, prequel and sequel manga for Dragon Quest were released, respectively. They feature an art style that is very colorful and includes many animals and monsters. Several pop culture references and puns are woven throughout the story, which has a great sense of humor. Episode 96, titled “Like a Flash”, sees Dai losing all motivation to fight with the Black Cores minutes from exploding, certain that killing Vearn at that point would be pointless when Merle informs Popp that she and the others survived because of her foresight and are working together to avoid a blast. Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Episode 96 Review The cast and Toshiyuki Toyonaga are smashing it, which is amazing considering how long we've been waiting for this episode. Even though Popp's message is brief, it perfectly captures both his persona and our so far shared adventure. I haven't found another moment in anime and manga that hits so hard as this one. Even though I've read the manga several times over, it still gets me emotional every time I read it, if not straight up crying. Also Read: Who Saved Luffy From Drowning In Wano? What Happened Actually? It's clear Riku Sanjo knows how to tug at the reader's hearts, and honestly, that's what shounen should be about. Bringing us on an emotional journey with the characters is what makes this series great. It doesn't need crazy-looking battles or art so detailed that you could see a grain of sand. It was nice to see Chad Popp step up again, guess it will be the other guys that take down the bombs. On the other hand, it was strange only a couple of Namekian minutes had passed by this episode, but that's okay. Only 4 left in this episode, will there be a DragonDai? Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Episode 97 Release Date Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Episode 97 release date is set to release on 1 October 2022, Saturday at 9:30 AM (JST).
