when snuffy announced that the team will be taking a beach trip as a treat for their hard work and victories during NEL, barou was IMMEDIATELY against it and just wanted to stay behind in the blue lock facility

from the wet sand sticking onto him everywhere to god knows what’s in the ocean (fish piss in there ya know), he was completely out.

he eventually relents when snuffy convinces him to go as it would be a good team bonding experience. and i mean who would say no to the team dad coach

barou also gets instantly annoyed that he can’t gel up his hair since the salty air and humidity will just ruin it so he’s gotta wear it down the whole trip. yet another reason for him to hate the beach

you sit next to him for the entire bus ride to his dismay and laugh at how much he overpacked for a simple day trip. he tells you to shut up to no avail as you keep cracking up at some of the things he brought.

when everyone gets there, barou sits under one of the umbrellas, far away from the tides and the wet sand, right next to aryu who’s trying to preserve his oh-so-fair skin away from the sun.

soon you ask to borrow his sunscreen since you somehow forgot your own. he does end up lending some to you while grumbling about how stupid you must be to not bring yours. then eventually you keep coming back to ask him for more things out of his heavy beach bag despite teasing him earlier because of it.

this does lead to the rest of the team asking for his stuff. oliver borrowing his extra pair of sandals. niko needing some burn gel since he accidentally fell asleep in the sun for five minutes and now the lower half of his face is sunburnt. sendou straight up taking some of his lip balm before he could even say no. lorenzo somehow eating half the snacks barou brought without him noticing.

later the team has a beach volleyball match and you invite him to join. he, of course, says no mainly because he’s disgusted by the feeling of the sand in his toes (and he’s also still pissy at everyone for taking his stuff).

so you gotta drag him out to play. and by that i mean physically drag him out by his arm while he doesn’t budge from his beach towel at all and looks at you crazy for even trying.

eventually snuffy tells you to stop and makes barou join the game to have fun with the others.

since no one in blue lock is normal, you guys play the game like your damn lives depend on it. with how egotistic the match goes, barou actually ends up enjoying it a lot. especially since he now has an excuse to finally destroy his own teammates.

(this also confuses and lowkey scares other clueless beachgoers who had the misfortune of witnessing you maniacs play)

after the game, you notice barou’s attitude and mood have greatly improved. most people wouldn’t even have noticed the change but you know him well enough to catch it.

you once got pinched by a tiny crab and placed it in barou’s hand, telling him it’s pretty crabby… like him…

he just stares at you before walking away with it, planning to release the teeny crustacean back into the water

later during the trip, he immediately jolts away when he sees your fingers covered in wet sand after making sand castles with niko with just your bare hands alone (they honestly ended up turning into sand mounds more than anything).

when you flick some of the sand onto his cheek as a joke just to see how he would react, you would think he saw the literal devil. the literal mortification on his face. thankfully he was petrified for a good few seconds which gave you plenty of time to run, living to see another day.

when everyone gets back, barou will never admit how much he actually enjoyed the trip and hanging out with the team. instead, he will grumble about how much sand got into his swim trunks and hair when he gets ready to shower.

but everyone knows he actually had a blast hanging out with the team for a day.

When he’s feeling a bit playful, he may or may not take your glasses and attempt to try them on. If they won’t fit on his face, he’ll simply hold them up out of your reach just so he can see your cute, annoyed expression. He immediately gives them back though because he’d hate to make you actually upset. 

He’s an absolute king at words of affirmation, and he’s more than happy to indulge you with physical affection. If anything, you’d be the one trying to pry him off of you. 

One time he walked in on you talking to yourself, and you didn’t notice him so he quickly hid around the corner to listen in on what you were saying. When he repeated your exact words back to you over dinner, he had to pat your back as you coughed on the drink you were having.

Sounds of pleasure leave him, and if you didn’t know any better you’d believe he was purring like a cat; kind of like how a cat purrs when they receive head pats from their favorite person.

After going through the description given, I believe that you best pair well with Silver!

Silver is a gentleman through and through, so while he appreciates your figure, he doesn’t ogle it mindlessly like some other students might. Although, if pushed, he would find that you are adorable and quite eye-catching, what with your curly black hair and chubby cheeks. And because you’re so short, he may endeavor to help you with fetching things like books or cups from high places—provided, of course, you ask for assistance because he still is a very polite young man.

Silver doesn’t often think about romance or any other feelings relating to that particular emotion. Most of the time, he’s trying to better himself as both a knight to his prince or to become a worthy mage that his father can be proud of. That said, he appreciates your kind and caring nature. As a student of Night Raven College, most of his peers are not as willing to bear vulnerability or compassion so openly. Don’t blame Silver, but he also thinks that you’re rather adorable. It’s a mixture of your mannerisms and your physicality, but it’s also because you remind him of his woodland creatures that he talks to sometimes. It doesn’t help that you’re rather soft spoken and that you share his love for animals!

Speaking of animals, you can join Silver whenever he decides to take a walk through the forest surrounding Night Raven College. Even though he’s usually busy because of club meetings, schoolwork, and a plethora of activities that he must complete as knight to Malleus, he’ll still make time for you. Whenever Silver sees that you are not taking care of yourself —especially when you should—he’ll offer to lighten your burdens. If you need help cooking healthy meals, he’ll take over the kitchen for you. If your living space needs cleaning, he’ll freely get cleaning supplies and get to work. Whatever you need help with, he’ll do his best to uplight you and make it so that it’s easier to enact self care. 

If you are ever worried about not getting listened to, don’t fear! Silver isn’t very talkative, but he’s always willing to listen to others. There may be times when he may not have words of advice should you need them (he might have to refer to Lilia for worldly advice), but his comforting presence more than makes up for it.

Similar to Shouto, I feel Iida is quite hesitant when showing affection in the initial stages of a budding relationship, although not for the same reasons. It’s not out of fear of rejection, but rather the embarrassment of making a fool of himself in front of you, and overthinking the ‘what if’s’ if he isn’t picking up on potential cues - almost trying to impress you more than he really needs to - you’re getting to know him, for him only, not this other, well-put together persona of perfection. 

That being said too, I think because of the constant pressures of being looked up, for guidance or general mundane things (he is definitely more than capable of handling it), and almost in a way afraid of failing - specifically setting these perfectionist standards for himself. If he isn’t to his best abilities, what use is he? And, this ties in somewhat with a potential belief/need even, to be ‘perfect’ in a relationship. 

To have everything together; but of course, to be in a relationship, you don’t have everything sorted out and flowing smoothly, and it’s quite a struggle initially for him to grasp that concept. Although, over time and throughout the years, I feel he’d slowly learn to come to terms with it, that failure is okay.

Similarly again to Shouto, I feel Iida is quite, conservative, in regards of the dating process and getting to know someone, playing upon the role of the person who pays for dates, events (occasionally splitting the bill, but mainly, he wants to make sure he can provide for you) etc, regardless of gender roles. He has a big thing for taking care of his partner - or otherwise known as acts of service - and who better of a choice than him? You’re going to get the best of him, and he’ll deliver on that promise.

Again, I feel in terms of listening and communication, he does his best to maintain a neutral stance, in order to gather the proper information together before making a judgement. And, that being said, with this mindset - I definitely think it allows him a stronger level of understanding behind a person’s motives, for better or for worse.

That’s not to say he’d excuse them entirely of their actions, but it would allow him to rationalise it almost. 

In regards to relationships and communication, outside of a, let’s say, workplace setting - he’d be more silent, tying in with his love language of acts of service, he’s one for quality time. No distractions of outside noise, or conversations (although I believe he loves a theoretical debate 100%), and instead, embraces the peace and quiet of home domesticity. It’s a brilliant trait to have, and it would allow him to enjoy the time spent together with you, without being occupied/worried about other ongoing situations.

Mito Uzumaki headcanons

its mito’s birthday today, and because im too lazy to draw i will offer you all some of my mito headcanons. warning: kinda long lol

- mito is the second eldest of eight girls. yeah you read right, eight. it was utterly chaotic in that house (though she ends up losing two of them to one of uzushio’s violent summer storms/terminal illness.)

-the uzumaki are a matriarchal clan and most spouses marry in. hsrm is an exception because of his status and the senju clan’s prestige.

- mito was a tasmanian devil demon child with poofy rats nest hair that gave adult madara’s mane a run for its money. they’d try to make her sit prim and proper and do her flower arranging/sewing classes but she’d always weasel out of it or find a way to set something on fire. she grows up and does a 180, becomes one of the most calm and collected uzumaki in her clan (externally lol). mainly because she enjoys defying peoples expectations and fucking with them behind her mask of propriety.

- this woman has the most garbage sense of humour. completely nonsensical, tbrm/madara/izuna/toka... none of them get how hsrm can say the dumbest shit and shes on the floor. hsrm is equally baffled but basking in the attention.

i feel like i have no creativity or motivation or interest in anyone or anything. i only love video games and film/tv too but mainly video games. i am too restless to read or do hobbies that require focus like piano, movies/tv etc. i am also a huge perfectionist and struggle to sit still sometimes. all i do is maladatively daydream my life and play video games. i dream of learning to write, draw, paint, scrapbook, crochet, and so many other things. but i never do them, i just can't. (1)

i have literally been like this for my whole life. as a kid i never had any hobbies/managed to do something for a long time, i started but lost interest so quickly either because of the chore of it or just falling out of love. and now im 22 and dont even know who i am or what i like doing as i've never actually done anything but im stuck in a shame/frustration spiral that prevents me from doing anything at all anyway. why am i like this? whats wrong with me? Firstly there is nothing at all wrong with you. Sometimes people just find it hard to do things and stick to doing things more than other people through no fault of their own.

You mentioned that you are a perfectionist and at times struggle to sit still. Due to this have you ever thought about doing something more physical? For example maybe picking up and doing a sport (either an individual sport of a group sport) maybe go to the gym and do something more personal for you!

Maybe because you do struggle to sit still at times, we are thinking about this all wrong in you trying to do things that do require you to sit still and really concentrate and so doing something that gets you out and about will be more helpful for you? Just an idea!

Also people can go their whole life not really knowing who they are or what they truly love doing and so this is normal and there is absolutely nothing wrong with you at all!

I know that the things you do want to do require you to sit down to do them so maybe another idea may be to do the activity for a short period of time, have a break and then go back to doing it some more. If you give this a go then what ever activity you do may feel less like a chore and more enjoyable.

When we do something new there is always a fear that we may not do it well and especially when we are a perfectionist. It’s understandable that when you try something new that you won’t be the best at it to begin with, this is like anything new you do. But with time and practice you will get better at it and may even find that you really enjoy it. I remember when I first started to scrapbook and I was so bad at it that I didn’t enjoy it much as all. But then I started to scrapbook things that I actually liked (pictures of me and my friends and good times we had together) and I actually found myself having fun! Is this something you could give a go, doing whatever you choose to do and making it more personal for you?

Covid sudah hampir 2 tahun.

Generally di awal, terbagi dua kubu. Percaya covid dan tidak percaya covid. Yang tidak percaya covid dianggap mabuk konspirasi. Then it developed, i guess? Tidak percaya covid mungkin terlalu ekstrem sehingga berubah menjadi kelompok orang2 yang percaya covid memang ada, tapi tidak semenyeramkan itu, tidak seberbahaya itu, just a usual flu, so menurut mereka: "santuy ajaa"

Which one is me?

I'm not gonna tell. But my brain is getting overwhelmed recently. I do believe in science. Aku lulusan farmasi, mantan apoteker klinis di RS, dan sekarang magister candidate farmasi klinis di salah satu univ di indonesia. I am doing research. I am fully aware that we need and will always need science. Kalau di kurva Dunning Krugger, I either still stupid and not confidence or a bit smart but not confidence. Either way i am not smart and confidence enough to tell things to people. Just to give disclaimer that i am just nobody.

Buat aku, dunia saat ini seperti sedang menjalani clinical trials. Di awal pandemi, seorang profesor di RS terkenal bilang "covid ini masih banyak yang harus diteliti, masih ongoing, jd kita kasi apa aja obat yang ada". Oh yes of course, itu pasti suatu keniscayaan ketika penyakit-baru muncul. Bukti2 ilmiah masih terbatas so trial and errors will be one way. Bless the patients. Now its been almost 2 years. Riset tentang covid luar biasa banyaaaakk sekali. Yah siapa yang tidak tertarik dengan pandemi? Akan ada banyak orang2 yang berbaik hati mencari solusi keluar dr pandemi dan akan ada oknum yang memanfaatkan momen untuk hal-hal tertentu tanpa berniat menyelesaikan pandemi.

Aku bukan penggila konspirasi. Tapi aku selalu terbuka dengan berbagai kemungkinan. Kadang kita gabisa netral dan cukup strategis dalam menghadapi pandemi ini karena alur informasi yang begitu cepat, polarisasi pendapat, opini2 yang berseliweran dan dengan mudahnya mengarahkan kita pada satu keyakinan. What expose us more, build us more. Pendapat2 dengan bias pengalaman pribadi, sahabat baik nakes, sahabat baik intel, dan semuanya. Kadang buat kita tidak bisa membaca situasi dengan objektif.

Scepticism is sometimes needed, no? Or maybe i got some trust issues. Aku masih anak bawang dalam riset tapi aku tau beberapa bias yang terjadi dalam riset klinis, beberapa hal yang dapat memengaruhi hasil riset. So, when a statement about covid comes out, aku sering berusaha untuk baca risetnya sendiri, melakuan appraisal dari mulai kualitas jurnalnya, desain dan metode, penarikan kesimpulan, conflict of interest (walau kadang ga ditulis padahal ada), sampai funding. We can not only read abstract since it doesnt give us that much. Sometimes author just put what interesting or what they want the result to be to make the abstract attractive, no?

But i dont always do that. Often, i simply too lazy. This is what we call as a lazy perfectionist, its suffering. You keep thinking about that but you do nothing. That sucks.

Anyhow.

There are some concerns and/or questions pop up in my head that ive been trying to answer despite my laziness.

How dangerous covid is? The prevalence is high, yes. The transmission is high, mainly the delta varian. Yet the severity are classified. Otg, ringan, sedang, berat. Seberapa infeksius masing2 derajat? Theres one research say asymptomatic patients gives 1/5 transmission, which makes sense. Otg tidak bersin dan batuk2, kemungkinan virus keluar dari tubuh sedikit. Viral load pada otg mungkin jg sedikit. Tapi apakah ketika menularkan, org yang ditularkan kemudian sakit parah atau otg juga? Kemungkinan tergantung kondisi orang tersebut, banyak faktor dari mulai usia, komorbid, dan gaya hidup. Walau kemungkinan penularan otg cuma 1/5, mau main2 dengan kemungkinan? I cannot say things like that without evidence i know but some of these are just logic.

But how if we compare it to other infections just like 'conspiracies people' ask. So far, orang2 yang menjawab pertanyaan itu berkata "buat kamu statistik itu angka, tp buat keluarga korban, itu nyawa". To me, orang2 yang bertanya demikian bukan berarti tidak berempati dengan korban. Beberapa dr mereka juga ingin keluar dari pandemi dan mungkin, mungkin, mungkin, mencoba mencari solusi 'lain'. Bagaimana kalau ternyata orang2 otg dalam jumlah besar ini magnitude dan efek penularannya sama seperti infeksi lain yang tidak fatal, mungkin pendekatan solusinya akan berbeda. "Tapi covid ini obatnya belum ada, infeksi lain sudah ada". Now my questions shift. How covid affect a person with pure covid and a person with comorbids (say with hypertention diabetes, asmatic, and all)? Does the infection worsen the conditions that much? How risk benefit analysis is done toward these comorbids and polypharmacy patients since drugs themselves also not fully safe? As a clinical pharmacist, i learn adverse drug reactions and drug interaction theoritically. Am i scared to drug? Often, yes. Because drug interations are hard to analyze in clinical settings. I believe doctors will use their expertise experience rather than theory. So yes i am scared because nothing is absolute. The reason I still keep my prokes and dont want to get infected is because i dont want to consume the drugs. In these ongoing drug trials everywhere, nothing I can trust 100% haha. And yes, aku panik sama orang tua yang sering keluyuran. Mereka komorbid. Kalau infected, sudah pasti aku akan pusing mengambil keputusan.

Pikiran2 ini mungkin muncul karena aku gerah dengan keadaan. Mungkin jg krn orang2 sekitar aku rata2 otg dan gejala ringan, so yes tulisan ini jg bias. But please never pray for me to have a relative that got severe sick due to covid just to make me believe 100%. Please no. Aku percaya covid and i dont wanna get infected.

Well anyway, aku gerah dengan keadaan. Indonesia ga seperti Singapura atau New Zealand yang, mau covid itu bahaya atau ngga, fasilitas dan sdm mereka mumpuni, penduduk mereka sedikit, it will more controllable. Sedangkan Indonesia, aku lelah baca berita yang bilang IGD dimana2 penuh. BOR 90% terisi. Nakes, otg atau bukan, ya harus isolasi. Bagaimana kalau ternyata otg dan derajat ringan tidak seberbahaya itu? Otg msh bisa kerja dan sedikit memulihkan kekacauan di rumah sakit. Nakes2 jadi ga burnout.

Penundaan operasi karena covid. Bagaimana kalau ternyata efek covid ke penyakit lebih kecil daripada penundaan operasi? Efek penularan covid ke nakes lebih kecil daripada risiko meninggalnya pasien jika tidak operasi? Akhirnya pasien meninggal bukan karena covidnya, tp karena penundaan operasi untuk penyakit lain yg dia punya.

Bagaimana dg org2 yg ekonomi lemah? Risiko covid dan risiko mereka kelaparan karena lockdown lebih besar mana?

Di awal pandemi, org2 yg ga boleh keluar adalah org2 dengan komorbid. Tetapi kemudian berkembang menjadi semua orang. Setauku, sesuatu dikatakan pandemi ketika transmisinya besar, tidak terlalu dilihat dari magnitude dan dampak gejala/penyakitnya. I mean, can we be more detail toward degree of severity and its effect? Memang sudah diberlakukan di beberapa hal, seperti yg sakit sedang-berat ke RS, yg otg ringan isoman di rumah. But, can we be even more detail and deepeer about this? Riset2 yg ada juga byk yg mendata overall inhospital mortality, artinya data kematian tidak dipisahkan antara penyebab primer dan sekunder. And again, how risk benefit analysis is done toward comorbid and polypharmacy patients? Safety obat kadang dianaktirikan. Overtreatment sometimes chosen to avoid covid kill the patients. Well, drugs can kill patients too. This is why dokter/nakes smart memang dibutuhkan. Dengan segala ongoing research selama pandemi, apalagi muncul mutasi begini, jangan sampai keputusan2 yang ada tidak berdasar analisis risiko-manfaat yang tepat.

So, i need to know more about poor outcome in symptomatic and asymptomatic covid adjusted to every concurrent drugs and medical conditions and adjusted to availibility of isolation room and resources and adjusted to everything lol. How infectious asymptomatic covid is and should we worry about it compare to any other disease. QoL symptomatic covid 19 patients compare to other infectious disease. how is association between happy hypoxia and covid, severity, outcomes, should we worry. What are the updates treatment now and why and how and are they safe and effective? How urgent vaccines are (in deeper analysis) - i already got my vaccination schedule, dont worry. And the biggest questions since mutations are the devil now, every W-H questions about mutations are stuck in my brain now. This is only clinical questions, there are way more abundant.

Kalo aku di singapura mungkin aku ga perlu mikir beginian. Dengan kemewahan2 yang mereka punya, indeks korupsi yang kecil, SDM yang mumpuni, penduduk yang sedikit, bahaya atau tidaknya covid mungkin ga pernah akan aku pikirkan regardless my scepticism toward research. Dampak sosial dari pandemi ini bukan main, kan.

- hands down one of my favorite signs. they're so lovable and bright. you can feel their passion from the inside in, and theyre one of the few people to actually commit to something from beginning to end; although when you flake, they lose interest right away and find something spontaneous to do. they HATE it whenever plans are cancelled, but regardless, they will be ready for anything else. theyre the go-to people, the person you feel so safe with

VIRGO

- im sorry, ik a lot of people like virgos, but this is the sign that i least get along with. theyre too idealistic and too much of a perfectionist. they make plans but fail to follow up. they are so kind to people but after they leave your sight, you question if its actually sincere or not. just from experience, ive had a lot of falling out of my virgo friends, mainly because theyre too much to handle at times. but don't get me wrong, im pretty sure theyre genuine in their own way

Simon was born into an affluent family — mother a judge while his father was the CEO of a reputable company. His parents weren’t exactly as happy as they seemed, for they were never in love to begin with. Raised in two families of immense power, their marriage was more on of a power, big dick energy, move to show the rest of the world. From what little Simon’s mother speaks of his father, Simon can assume it only hit him how real this whole fake life was once he was born, which is when good ol’ daddy ran off to do god knows what while raised by his mother in Washington DC. He has no memories of his father ; Simon only knows that every few weeks they get a check in the mail for hella money, so between both his parents they lived an extremely lavish lifestyle ( possible wc for fraternal twins separated when his dad left or half siblings ?? idk fam let a gal know <3 ). However to this day Simon’s always had this idea that his dad has to be better, wherever he is.

His mother worked her way up from being a lawyer, to a judge, and now she’s a super well known && liked politician. Simon however is one of the few who doesn’t like his mom, mainly because he sees how she really is: controlling, a perfectionist, && fake™ as fuck, as he’d like to put oh so bluntly. He hates how she wants everything to seem like it’s all perfect. But, that coming from his is just a joke™ because he’s extremely similar to his mother, dare you say he’s a hypocrite ?? ( big yes in the chat ). In his younger years he did as he was told ; going to all the functions, behaving accordingly. But as his annoyance, anger, and his own damaging thoughts only felt more terrorizing he started to do things his way. AKA causing a scene && getting a bad name with the press, mostly to just fuck with his mother and if there is a father figure out there watching, perhaps it’d get his attention to.

During high school, as another way to spite his mother he started to let his grades slip, despite him being more than capable of excelling his his classes. Tired of his antics, and figuring it was actually best for her career if he wasn’t around despite trying to create a happy family image, by the power of money she basically forced him to attend a college that was just far enough to be out of wey, but not far enough where she couldn’t check in monitor him. Simon of course was more than happy to do so, and what better place to go then one of the top schools ?? So she kinda donated heavily to get him here. In turn, Simon much prefers it here, since can relax (simon relaxing ?? lol what a joke) ; his grades have also improved since he’s studying things he actually cares about, and that extremely ambitious drive of his that was once overshadowed by the need to piss off his mother, has finally returned.

PERSONALITY (aka fuck im getting too lazy for paragraphs lordt)

definitely likes to take on the facade of not giving a fuck, but boy does he have ?? so many fucks to give. also takes on a facade of being super chill, charming, a sometimes likable dude really but like ... nahh

if anything he uses that to lure people in enough not to feel so fucking lonely, but also to get information from them and let them feel like they can trust him ?? because when they fuck him over, as he believes most people will, he can use that info to make sure he hurts them worse ... bless ://

so, as someone who isn’t a fan of himself or most, he tends to be rather destructive  /  self-destructive. anything good happens ?? he tends to fuck it up … sometimes on purpose, other times on accident.

though mainly he’s big up on planning, he’s all about the little details and the big picture ; so tends to have a plan for mostly everything and then gets mad when people don’t to as he expects / act how he wants them to ... :)

if he doesn’t like you he’ll definitely go out of his way to make your life hell wow we hate. and even if he likes you, he’ll probably still make your life hell because ?? it’s just funny right, like super hilarious.
