fuck it. no one has said this as far as ive seen but i genuinely have the headcanon that luz had a hardcore nightcore phase and you can pry that from my hands. she WOULD listen to nightcore/had a nightcore phase. listening to songs pitched and sped up with eye splittingy bright anime backgrounds - BONUS points if she discovered the "anime" she wanted to edit clips about in episode 1 of s1. she just has that vibe to me.

Accidently turned my little moment into a small break! Didn't mean to be so quiet on the blog haha. But I've been watching a show while I wait for the WH update and aaaaaugh. I would post doodles but it'd be so unlike my usual WH stuff.

I'm really surprised that no one's asked this, but i'll do it anyways for fun! Here's some agere headcanons for Henry!

🚂 Due to the events like that of the Flying Kipper and the Tunnel, i imagine that Henry was traumatized by those incidents and regresses to cope with it. While he may of looked like he handled it well, his whole personality changed slowly over the years to the point he was fearful of any little thing that could cause trouble (aka cgi era henry).

🚂 While he does get over some of his fears, some fears are too hard for him to face, and thus he'll regress out of fear and worry.

🚂 His regression is all fun for him, most of the time he only regresses when he's upset, scared or anxious.

🚂 He mostly sticks to the sheds to regress, as he worries about doing it while he's working and others giving him weird looks (even though most engines kinda know he's always done this while working.)

🚂 He looks to Edward for comfort most of the time, but if Edward isn't available, he'll go to any other engine for comfort. For some reason he seems more attached to Gordon when Edward's not around. Gordon's unsure of how to feel about it.

🚂 Whenever he has his moments of regressing in a more positive attitude, he'll often just smile and be quiet while watching the day go by.

🚂 His favorite thing to do while regressing is going to the forest (little nod to 'henry's forest') and sitting there for a long while, listening to the birds chirping, the deer quietly wandering and the streams of water rushing down their own path. It's very peaceful there and Henry's the most happy in a place like that.

🚂 Henry is basically a Trauma Regressor, and while it is hard most of the time for him and the world he continues to live in, he has the support of the whole steam team with him and it's more than he could ever ask for.
