Wtdw headcanons

Wiatt babysits Carly, Liz and Ben for free as he had nobody to take care of him when he was a child.

Glory regrets of killing Andrew as she sees hallucinations Andrew’s dead corpse telling her it is her fault and has constant nightmares of when Andrew interviewed her.

Nobody knows that Glory killed Andrew.

Pen was an orphan when he was 10 and had to get a job when he was in high school.

Ribbon Dancer/Ridley secretly had an identity crisis since Carly/Cheer told Ribbon he is Eric.

Winnie/Carlos and Owen think that Wiatt is dead because of Litho.

Hazel likes to pull off pranks.

Lisa knew about the deaths as she is part of high classed staff and chosen her death but she got caught in the trap.

Pen becomes an animatronic.

Marissa either adopted Hazel or was a teen mom as Hazel is 8 and Marissa is 23.

Sara lost her feelings for Norman.

Is Damien klein autistic?

K this is probably a HUUGE strech and probably just me projecting but is anyone else getting autistic vibes from Damien?

Hear me out: he constantly speaks in a quite monotone voice even in moments where it’s clear he wants to raise his voice, it’s like he can’t

(These two moments are good examples, his body language shows that he’s very angry but he still speaks very quietly, I’m aware the left one is in oliver’s dream so I wonder what that means)

He generally has weird ways of showing effection that others interpret as creepy

People generally interpret his existence and presence as threatening even when he dosent mean to come off that way and that’s probably because of his crazy case of resting bitch face

When he first arrives at the facility, everyone is scared of him for literally no reason except that he just unintentionally gives off those vibes which is so relatable to me

Also he has a very strong sense of justice, it’s why he left the law firm and like, starting your own business is hard for anyone but he did it anyway because he didn’t like the practices of the old law firm he worked in, that’s a huge move in the name of justice and I love him for it

Also id like to think oliver is autistic too (I’m pretty sure that’s a more popular headcanon) and that’s why they have such a strong connection, it’s why he’s one of the only people not threatened by him at first sight because he just understands him yknow? It’s autism to autism communication

Anyway that’s probably just my autistic ass projecting onto a character but it’s fun ok???

A Random WTDW Headcanon

Sara can’t cook and is 100% likely to burn the kitchen down to the ground.

Heck even her best friends call her out on her cooking.

Lewis: Darling, your my friend, but you can’t cook!

Sara: It’s not that bad

Oliver: Remember Thanksgiving back in high school?

Meanwhile, Sara tries to prove it and we have Wiatt having 911 on standby incase something blows up.

I Called It!

After, finally being able to watch the latest episode of Welcome to Dreamworld I noticed most of my predictions on my AO3 Welcome to Dreamworld headcanons came true (and some didn't). Here's a few that came true and didn't and headcanons of what may happen:

1.After watching the video on how Sara killed him and erased most of his memories Norman decides to help Wiatt and Damian to find Sara and return everyone to their bodies and he's gonna feel a lot of guilt/betrayal:

Before Sara killed him, she got him interested in the idea of immortality.

The reason he doesn't bat an eyelash over the dead workers/visitors is because when his soul was transferred into the animatronic Sara hide his morality along with the memory of her killing him.

After, he watches the videos Norman is hit with a wall of guilt. Sure, he wanted to live and be young forever, but not at the cost of human life!

Norman will slowly help Morris and Astra restore their memories.

Will attempt to make Hayden help bring Sara, Pen, and Lisa back.

Norman will feel betrayed by Sara and question their whole relationship.

And start crushing on Morris/ Andrew.

2. I was wrong about Hayden and Pen knowing each other since childhood.

It turns out Audrey/Astra and Andrew/Morris knew Hayden during high school, are the reason why he had blue highlights in his hair, and got hired around the same time.

We'll find out more about Pen later on.

3. In the show the animatronics dream, so they may have their own sleeping quarters similar to the animatronics in Five Nights at Freddy's Pizzaplex.

Each room is designed to accommodate to each animatronic and is on their respected floor.

We saw Morris's room in the latest episode, and it's located at Watchful Eye. We'll most likely see Astra's when she gets her memories back.

Look how cute Morris is! Playing with his dolly in his little hammock!

4. Rex/Mike's history being revealed from:

Childhood - Mike most likely normal childhood and had many friends.

Transitioning - Mike starting to question his gender and starts feeling isolated.

Being kicked out and rejected by parents - (warning tearjerker) It was nothing nice (look what that horrid excuse of a dad did to Mike's eye), poor baby was homeless, maybe stayed in shelters, and as soon as Mike found out Dreamworld was hiring he took the job to survive.

Crushing on Alyssa - Being roommates, bonding over sexuality, and they were roommates tropes!

Being crushed to death in the trash compactor and who put him there - (warning tearjerker) Died alone, Sara stored his body with Lewis & Oliver's, and only Alyssa tried looking for him.

5. The souls of the victims' weren't just placed into the animatronics at random there had to be a connection for them to come to life:

Lewis & Star Light - Artistic, perfectionist, kind.

Eric & Rainbow Dancer - Loveable goofballs, creativity, protective-dad-energy. 

Mike & Rex - Protectors, caring, laid-back.

Alyssa & Glory - Caregivers, kind, a bit of a tease.

John, James, Jake & Masquerade, Melody, Mimic - Innocent, mischievous, playful.

Carly & Cheer - Brave, tomboyish, competitive.

Ben & Liz and Lolli & Pop  - Fun-loving, adventurous, curious.

 Andrew & Morris  - Loyal, energetic, nervous.

Audrey & Astra - Friendly, kind, observant.

Carlos & Winnie, Sara & Millie, Lorenzo, Night Light, and Gruff will get connections later.

Things to come:

With everything happening in the facility with the talk of immortality, the countless deaths, and ghosts talk I wouldn't be surprised if Litho was running a cult!

We know of the rumors of the facility with a mechanic (Carlos/Winnie) during the 1980s, but that is just the most recant and popular rumor up to date!

There must have been thousands of deaths near that cave even before Litho arrived.

Some of the cult members work at Dreamworld *COUGH*JAMESON*COUGH*. Heck, some of the cops (not caring and being bribed) and maybe people who live nearby know too.

Litho has ordered them not to mess with Wiatt.

They're aware Litho most likely will kill them and put them into animatronics, at the end of the day they just want to live forever.

2. We're gonna see more Hazel and the other Animatronics!

Hazel will finally meet Wiatt and introduce him to the other animatronics.

As much as Wiatt doesn't want Hazel involved, he sees bits of him in her so he's crazy protective of her. 

Whenever Oliver is near Millie he goes into corrupt-soul-mode that freaks/confuses everyone even himself (nobody knows Sara is possessing Millie). 

The first thing Lorenzo, Night Light, and Gruff will remember are their names. 

  We'll get an episode of how Hazel met Lorenzo, Night Light, Gruff, and Millie.

We'll see why Hazel is interested in Dreamworld's mysteries. I think it may have something to do with John/ Masquerade, James/ Melody, and Jake/ Mimic.

3. Alison will return to the facility at some point. And we get to see more ghosts.

Most of the ghosts want to help and get revenge on Litho.

Others are too blinded by the immortality promise to rebel and fully believe in Litho. To add support to the theory Litho did but souls in the animatronics and is keeping their bodies alive so some of the ghost believe Litho will do that for them.

4. Either Glory/ Alyssa, Cheer/Carly, or Lolli/Liz & Pop/Ben will gain their memories next.

5. When Glory gets her memories back, she's gonna feel extremely guilty for causing Morris's death.

Morris accepts her apology because he knows Glory wouldn't harm anyone on purpose (except Sara/Litho).

When Astra starts gaining her memories, she'll remember that she and Glory/Alyssa worked together on the same floor.

The three become gossip buddies.

6. Wiatt stops recording and his healthy starts to decline.

We'll most likely see things via security cameras or normal viewing for most of season 2.

Wiatt will still help get the animatronics their memories back. Because, HELLO - if your family/friend's soul got trapped in a animatronic by an evil demon wouldn't you save them?

Everyone will notice something is off with Wiatt (mainly Star/Lewis), but Wiatt will brush it off.

Wiatt will start having nightmares similar to his Grandmother (Lucy) and dad (Owen) did.

Wiatt's soul is linked to the camera (the one he mainly uses) and the more time he's away from it the sicker he becomes. His situation is similar to Allison and his violin since those items hold their souls since Allison is a ghost and Wiatt is most likely an animatronic/cyborg.

Everyone will find this out when it's too late!

Personally I think if the twins were to ever get out, I think their souls would be connected in some way.

Like shared pain, and not feeling well if they're far away from eachother.

I also think their souls would look connected together by a cheese pull.

Extra Beanie

A Welcome to Dreamworld one shot based off of a headcanon of mine that Celio carries and extra beanie! Story under cut

It was a cold winter night and Celio and their adopted kid Sara were looking for Christmas presents for the Christmas party at Sara’s school.

“Celio?” Sara asked

“Yeah, Sara?”

“Can I borrow your beanie? I’m really cold.”

Celio smiled, “sure thing, kid!”

Sara wore the beanie for the rest of the night. This happened five more times before Celio had an idea. They got a beanie that’s exactly like the one they have, and put the exact same pins on it. The next time Sara asked for the beanie - Celio assumed Sara just liked it because at this point it wasn’t even cold when she was asking for it - they pulled the extra one out of their bag and gave it to her. Celio even gave Sara the extra beanie as a going-away gift when she had moved to start Dreamworld Entertainment.

A couple years later, Celio was looking in the underground bunker of Dreamworld Entertainment when they noticed something shining in their eyes. They picked up the only beanie they had given Sara all those years ago, surprised.

“Guess Litho didn’t bother to get rid of this. That or, judging by the amounts of dust on it, Sara hid it and Litho never found it. Never mind that, though. If Litho won’t use it, I will.”

Celio put on the beanie. They would give it back to the real Sara when - or if - she ever returned. Celio assumed their old beanie would be ruined due to a minor hess. injury they had that caused a bit of bleeding. Thanks, Starlight.

Snippet Saturday

I'll probably do Six-Sentence Saturday later on today, but I was reading through some of my post-Heavensward AU and I wanted to share this section in the pre-Endwalker chapter. It explores a small headcanon I haven't shared before.

This takes place after the return of the Scions from the First and the final events of the post-Shadowbringers campaign, during the IC months (in my timeline) before Krile sends word from Sharlayan.

Snippet under the cut:

By necessity, her visit back to the girls was brief - she had one stop left to make, and although she wanted to spend more time with Gaia and Ryne, she consoled herself and them by promising to return soon, with more time to spare. Taking up their letters to Thancred and Urianger, she embraced them both, leaving with tears on her cheeks to answer their own.

By the time she arrived in Il Mheg, her tears had dried, but there remained a shadow upon her heart, thoughts of the girls lingering on her mind. It was with this weight that she and her mount flew into the heart of the Kingdom of Rainbows, where Titania’s Castle rose above the lake, shimmering brilliantly in the late day sun.

They landed outside the castle, and she sent her mount off, gazing up at the great doors through which she had once passed, only to depose the now-former king and install a new one in their place. 

Speaking of the new king…

“My beautiful sapling, why do you linger outside the gates of my home? You know that you are always welcome within the walls of the castle.” 

Turning, Kal'istae grinned at Titania, genuinely pleased to see the pixie king. Their own face radiated pleasure upon seeing their oath-bound companion, and they gestured in welcome. “Yes, thank you,” the au ra said politely, “but I did not wish to disturb your peace with talk of favors and bargains. I thought it best to wait until you were ready to speak.”

Titania’s eyebrows rose. “Do you finally admit that you need me?” they replied, the imp of mischief glittering in their eyes.

Kal'istae wrinkled her nose. “It would not be the first time,” she replied drolly. “But I might well have need of your particular expertise, my beautiful branch,” and she bit back a grin as Titania preened. 

“Very well,” the pixie responded. “In what way can we aid you?”

Kal'istae was quiet for a long moment, turning away and gazing out over the rainbows and mists of Il Mheg. Finally, she sighed. “You visit my world through dreams - that is how you speak with my retainers, and how you told Tataru what kind of gear the Archons would need to suit their new roles.” She fell silent.

Feo Ul floated up to her side, the personality of Titania suppressed as the pixie considered the words of their dearest companion. Finally,  they nodded. “That is correct. Distance is of no matter to dreams - they can reach as far as they need to.”

Kal'istae twisted her fingers before her as she stared at the fields of flowers glowing in the moonlight. “Could you - would it be possible to bring two dreamers together in one dream?”

Intrigued, Feo Ul floated down to dance above Kal'istae’s shoulder, gazing out over their kingdom. “It could be possible. There would need to be a connection - emotional, physical, magical - between the two souls, but I believe it is possible. Why? Is there a dream you wish to visit?” Their laughter belled out. “A certain silver-haired, silver-tongued rogue, perhaps?”

Oh, the temptation. “No,” Kal'istae whispered. “Thancred, yes, but not me. Ryne…”

“The daughter.” Tears shimmered in Feo Ul’s voice. “Oh, my sapling, a lovely thought. There is certainly enough connection betwixt and between he and she to bind their dreams for a visit.”

Kal'istae took a shaky breath. “And in return?”

“To take without giving would create an imbalance,” Feo Ul agreed. “Before you left us to return to your world, you were aiding my friends in restoring the dreamworld. Take the time to continue that task - help our dreamers, help our dreamweavers, and I will weave together your dreamers in return.”

Another shaky breath, and Kal'istae nodded slowly. “Yes - of course. That is more than fair. Feo Ul…”

The pixie spun in place slowly, then darted down to press their lips gently against the au ra’s forehead. “My sapling, how rare it is for you to ask me for anything, no matter how I scold. If it would not upend the balance between us, I would ask nothing in return to give you a desire so dear to your heart. Bring sweet dreams to my dreamers, and I shall do the same for thine.”

“Thank you, my beautiful branch,” Kal'istae whispered.

Titania smiled as they drifted away, spinning slowly from pixie to faerie king. “Always, my sweet sapling. Always.”

Thancred woke, the aromaof Il Mheg’s flowering fields lingering in the air, the sound of Ryne’s laughter echoing in his ears. The dream had felt so real, so unlike the usual disconnected, disjointed memories that usually plagued his sleep. He could swear he’d been walking amongst the waving grasses with his adopted daughter, accompanied by the giggles of pixies, the cool winds of the Kingdom of Rainbows ruffling through their hair as they spoke…

Spoke of so many things; F’lhaminn and Gaia, of the Scions and the Empty and Eden… and of Kali, a topic he’d danced about until the girl had grinned up at him, mischief in her eye, and asked him when he planned to tell her he wasn’t just seeing the the Warrior of Darkness, but courting her…

It had been so real…

He sat up, gazing into the darkened room, feeling the last of his sleepiness slough away. “How - there’s no way…” he whispered… but he was a close friend of the oath-bound companion of the King of the Fae on the First - a pixie capable of traversing the realms at will through the world of dreams.

A close friend of a woman to whom he was intent on growing closer; who seemed, sometimes, to be just as interested in becoming closer with him. Who happened to be on the First right now…

Or, he amended mentally as his sharp ears picked up on her distinctive voice, had been on the First. He rolled out of bed and forewent his armor, instead just throwing his fending coat about his shoulders. It was instinct to sheathe his gunblade along his spine; he barely even noticed it as he strode out of his room, skimming his fingers through his tousled silver hair.

As he passed through the door into the Respite, several pairs of eyes turned on him. “Good morning,” Y’shtola greeted him as she sipped her tea.

He nodded to her, and to Urianger as the astrologian similarly greeted him, but his attention was on the small au ra perched upon a chair with them, her lavender-edged eyes warm and smug as she gave him a sweet smile of greeting. “Good morning, Thancred,” she murmured.

“Good morning,” he replied as he stepped up to the table. Y’shtola and Urianger exchanged amused glances as he otherwise ignored them. “Was it real, Kali?”

She studied his face, her tail wrapping about the leg of her chair as she shrugged her shoulders. “What is real? How is your daughter, Thancred?”

He exhaled, closing his eyes, and slid bonelessly into the chair next to her, reaching out to catch her hand in his. “Thank you. I… Thank you.”

Her fingers curled about his, her smile pleased. “I’m glad that the idea bore fruit,” she replied, her eyes softening as she gazed up at him. “I was not entirely certain it was possible, though Feo Ul thought that it might be, under the right conditions.”

He drew their joined hands up to his lips, his citrine eyes steady on hers. “We walked through the flowers of Il Mheg, and we spoke of what we have seen and done since we parted. For once, she and I were able to speak without the shadow of impending separation looming over us. Even if this were the only time, just this one chance…”

Kal'istae’s fingers tightened on his, her lips firming. “As long as circumstances allow, I doubt this will be the only time. They watch now, does Feo Ul, for that moment when your slumber and hers coincide.” She smiled abruptly, a dimple flickering in her cheek. “Now you have reason to sleep regularly.”

“Hah. Then whose dreams shall I petition Feo Ul to join with yours, that you will similarly sleep on a more consistent basis?” Thancred retorted, and watched a sly smirk flicker through her eyes before she offered him a sweet smile.

“I’m afraid that any dreams I might be interested in visiting,” she murmured, eyes wide and guileless, “are otherwise occupied. I’ll have to content myself with the occasional waking moment.”

Sara listened to a TON of emo rock in middle school. Basically she listened to Evanescence, Linkin Park, or whatever bands existed in the WTDW-verse.

Welcome to Dreamworld Predictions

Here are some predictions/headcanons I have for the next episode of 'Welcome to Dreamworld'

Remember when Ribbon Dancer first met Wiatt?

"A new friend!? Hello, hello, hello! Where did you come from? Are you human, or have you fallen from the status like the rest of us?"

Ribbon Dancer knew from the very beginning that Wiatt wasn't human and you can't convince me otherwise!

After the last episode where Wiatt talked to Celio his eyes are black like soulless and numb.

This is hinting towards Wiatt being an animatronic/cyborg.

After, their talk Wiatt's eyes return to their normal brown color.

Also, look at Oddity! He's such a good support Twinblo being there for Wiatt, he's perfect!

Celio tells Damien, Oliver, Millie, Ms. Cabrera, Star, Eric, Rex, Ribbon Dancer, and Glory about Wiatt's eyes turning black during one of their talks. Celio knew it wasn't natural but couldn't explain how it happened. Celio believed it had to do from stress, doubt, and what the two talked about and all the supernatural things going on. Celio made them promise to report to them if Wiatt's eyes ever went black again and to make sure Oddity was with him at all costs in case something happened.

When the time comes, I hope the reveal is similar to Bee's from Bee and Puppycat.

Hazel will finally meet Wiatt, Damien, Oliver, Celio, and the other animatronics to help with the investigation.

We'll get an episode of how Hazel met Lorenzo, Night Light, Gruff, and Millie.

Finding out how she got involved with Dreamworld (I believe it has to do with Masquerade, Melody, Mimic aka John, James, and Jake)

While exploring the facility (mainly employee only areas) she came across Lorenzo, Night Light, and Gruff seconds after Sara possess Millie.

The decommissioned animatronics explain that they're the souls of children who were murdered by the founder Sara when they were children because they bullied her.

 During Hazel's investigation on Dreamworld she came across Ghosteyes and Wiatt's videos. Hazel looks up to Wiatt like a big brother and besides Ribbon Dancer ships Wiatt x Lewis/ Star Light.

Well, Hayden time to put your money where your mouth is.

He's mainly doing it for Andrew, Audrey, and Pen. He'll definitely give Wiatt a hard time, but at this point Wiatt would also be done with Hayden's nonsense by now but still protects him, Astra, and Morris. This will also be a wakeup call for Hayden realizing that his hatred should be focus more on Litho and Sara and how harsh he was on Wiatt.

I think something will happen to Wiatt making Hayden fill in his shoes, but the animatronics don't trust him (mainly Cheer since he was the last human she saw before she died), and we don't know his interactions with the other employees making it difficult for Hayden to get any info.

 Now that Norman knows that Litho has been possessing Sara and Sara killed him, he's gonna help Wiatt and the others stop Litho.

He won't be buddy-buddy with Wiatt and the others at first, he'll just leave clues like Hazel leaving that flash drive in Wiatt's bag.

He instructs Morris and Astra to hangout more with the others to help gain their memories.

When he's around 'Sara' he plays dumb to make sure Litho doesn't know he (Norman) knows that he (Litho) isn't Sara.

I really hope the other employees help with the investigation and find a way to free Rain from Litho's control.

Theories:

Litho is using Hayden to derail the investigations.

We all know that Mike, Alyssa, Hayden, Andrey, Audrey, and Pen have been working at the facility since it opened up and the group may have formed a bond during the past months. Until Lewis, Eric, and Oliver disappeared, only for Mike, Alyssa, and Andrew to disappear leaving Audrey, Hayden, and Pen.

And we all know what happened to them.

Remember when Oddity found Pen's laptop and then froze Wiatt in time for a week while the facility was being repaired. I bet Litho has the laptop now and has been using it since then.

Hayden would have zero interest in Wiatt's videos, but if 'Pen' sent him a message about it he would look into it.

Litho used Pen's laptop to send Ghosteyes' videos of the Dreamworld investigations to Hayden and then killed Pen and Lisa in front of them so Hayden could go off on Wiatt and turn against him.

I remember seeing a post on Tumblr from one of the artists from the show that Pen would return as a bug animatronic (I was rooting on an owl animatronic due to the 'neck' thing). If they get the chance Pen will reveal that he never sent Hayden any videos of Wiatt's investigations and that he's been tricked.

Now, Wiatt won't talk to Hayden due to self-doubt and 'you told me to leave you alone, so now I'm doing what you told me to do' which will make things difficult. 

2. Audrey has been doing her own investigations.

Like I said above Mike, Alyssa, Hayden, and Andrew were there since the beginning and it wasn't until Andrew went missing, she did everything in her power to look for him for example: made missing persons posters, contact his family, and would go to the police regularly.

When the facility reopened, she was the only one to voice Wiatt was missing. Audrey must have noticed that it was mainly the mechanics who went missing the most fueling her need to know what happened to her friends.

Audrey having some knowledge of the animatronic/computers took over Wiatt's duties. Before Winnie attacked her Audrey proclaimed that she knew Dreamworld had something to do with Andrew's disappearance and maybe Wiatt's.

Sadly, Audrey became another victim of Dreamworld Facility, and her soul now inhabits Astra.

I believe a good 50% of the victims were looking for friends/family, co-workers and got killed because of it.

4. Melody may get his memories back due to being around Winnie and remembering he killed him and his brothers.
