1) so many… like probably close to 100. Obviously not whole songs or finished products but a lot. (Sam Fender said he wrote like 60 songs during lockdown; 16 made it to the deluxe version of his album - so I guess artists took the lockdown as an opportunity create)

2) it depends how many he wants on the album - like does he know he wants 12 songs like Walls or is he comfortable putting out a longer album? Is he gonna pull a Zayn and have 30 songs? I’m joking. But the concept of the album is probably going to influence the tracklist. But recording songs costs money so I’d say max 25-30.

3) see point above BUT i could see him having close to 16 songs because that means material that is his and he could tour a lot of songs from LT2 and drop some songs from Walls that aren’t great live as well as the covers. This could work whether the album drops before tour or not, with the added bonus that if it does not, songs that are introduced on tour will only make part of the album, thus leaving some surprise material when the album is released. Also, is there gonna be a deluxe version of LT2?

Just a few questions because I'm curious and I wanna know what y'all think 🤔:

How many songs do you think Louis has written by now? (after Walls)

How many has he recorded?

How many of these are gonna be on LT2?

I think there’s going to be a momentum with AFHF and the album announcement and at least a single release should happen around the festival (hopefully before).

I’m still waiting on news about a “livestream” for the festival… having one will separate the festival from the regular tour shows. There’s mad money to be made. I don’t see why it couldn’t be filmed like it was last year. And if Louis thinks he needs to offer more than HQ footage of the show (he doesn’t!), I’m sure there’s some tour footage that can be dusted off and used to make a mini-doc like last year.

If I dare clown dream… announcement during the livestream? He’s sure to have our attention….

Also, remember Faith in the Future flashing on the screen last year?

We do spend too much time reading into things that are probably not there. And there’s only one way to stop us - RELEASE LT2 LOUIS!!

He needs to do something to occupy our little minds so we don’t go crazy doing maths that means nothing.

But when LT2 drops and we become obsessed with the new songs and start reading into things too much... what then...

i had a bet against myself that he would wear a football jersey for the festival (and i won) so i'm gonna bet again that we're gonna have a 28 Official Programme merch on September 28 🙃

Part of me is hoping BMG will do a complete image rehaul on Louis when LT2 is released, basically ignoring most of what happened in the past 5 years and giving him an actual chance at success, that's why I think it's been mostly quiet for now.

That being said, dressing as a clown is also a hobby of mine.

Well, image falls under the PR team, so we'll have to see what's the deal with SJPR and if our friend Christina Santamaria of BMG Publicity will take care of Louis' PR/promo for the US and actually... work for him.

I think there's a way to do an overhaul, focusing on Louis' music accomplishments during the pandemic - he wasn't able to tour his first solo album but found other ways to perform for fans with LTLfLL and AFHF. Promo for LT2 can focus on how he developed "his sound" after Walls and how he found inspiration/creativity during lockdown, and potentially mention the upcoming sold-out world tour (if LT2 is released before tour).
