Context: Latter goes on a walk on a morning during his family’s stay at Howdy’s and spots Quincy making snow castles. Quincy, excited to see someone new, invites him over and the topic of poems comes up and eventually this scene happens. Latter reciting his poems to Quincy who then gives some feedback.

Did I (not)suddenly imagine a friendship between Latter and Quincy? Yes.

Is there potential for a ship? …….perhaps. Mentally I’m taking that really slowly as I get used to Quincy being a character and figuring out what they might be like as a person. Orientation and their preferred partner (or lack thereof) being one of those things.

I started watching The Bear and it’s giving me sooooo much Ted Lasso ptsd. I’m trying so hard not to ship Carmen and Sydney because the pain of Ted/Rebecca is just too much. I remember being attacked on social media just because I shipped two characters together and I’ve seen it happening in The Bear fandom too. I can’t relive that experience. Just to be clear, I love the WHOLE show and all the characters, I’m not JUST watching it for a ship. But they have great chemistry and I love their characters, so of course I’m rooting for them to be happy, whatever that means in the context of the show. I know it’s not about romance, it’s about the restaurant and found family and Carmy healing from his trauma. I just love their dynamic and the characters individually. Please don’t come at me and attack me in the comments. I just want to enjoy my show. I CANNOT relive the trauma of Ted Lasso and Tedbecca 😭

not to get annoyed at stuff that does not matter at all but it's really telling to me that when people try to argue that **certain characters** are a better partner to Buck than Eddie they will say very easily disprovable things such as “no one ever asks Buck how he’s feeling or notices when he’s sad and also Buck has no one to go to when he’s hurting.” like I thought it was a joke but y’all REALLY don’t watch the show huh???
