#weird nightmare

I had the bodily reaction of a nightmare to a dream that wasn't a nightmare. Like, I woke up in a cold sweat with my heart racing and adrenaline in my veins on high alert for the rest of the night like something awful had happened. But you know what that "nightmare" was?! I was sitting on a beach, unable to move for some reason, frozen in place. And this guy with a thick Scottish accent walks up to me and goes "oh...oh no that's not good, right we're gonna get ya fixed right up not to worry" He then pulls a fucking salmon (pre-mating season salmon so at least it didn't look like one of THOSE monstrosities and was still all silvery and glittery and such) out of nowhere, thing is very dead and already gutted, and here I am thinking "oh god hes gonna shove my face into the salmon's empty gut oh god oh fuck noooooo!!!! EWWWW!!!!" but no he instead just lightly starts slapping my face with the damn thing, repeating to himself over and over again "come on then, let's get ya to see John, he'll know what to do, let's get you to John, come on".........and then I woke up.

What the FUCK?!

So many questions!

Why was I on a beach? Why couldn't I move? Why was this guy just carrying a freshly gutted salmon? Who is John?! And why does the apparent means of getting me to see this 'John' involve slapping me in the face with a salmon?!! Why was I TERRIFIED of the fucking SALMON?!!!!!

Sometimes I think about the one time I had sleep paralysis while laying on my side where a woman was standing next to me in bed and telling me to look up at her face, but I knew she was a sleep paralysis demon that would just give me a big ol jumpscare so I kept telling her no.

She barely acted threatening, she seemed more annoyed than anything and was just like “listen the only way to wake up is to look at me” and I tried screaming for help, but when nothing came out of my mouth she just said flatly “screaming’s not gonna work”

Eventually after about half an hour of this, I finally looked at her, she gave me a jumpscare and I woke up and that’s how I met a demon working a 9PM-5AM

I had a weird “nightmare” last night that I lost the bit I needed to charge my Apple Pencil and I couldn’t find it, but kept collecting charging bits for other things 😭

While back, I had this dream/nightmare.

This giant bat was chasing me around, talons out and ready to snatch me up.

It was bumping in the walls, it wanted me BAD.

I was zipping and zooming down the street and then, I was slowing down.

You know when you're running really slow for no reason in a dream? It was that.

I later fell in a hole and woke up.

I still don't know what that was about.

Had a nightmare about me, my non-existent brother and a benevolent witch (who was also related to us somehow) being chased through a labyrinthine forest by a variety of horrifying entities.

All in the artstyle of Over The Garden Wall.

There was background music and a plot twist at the end and everything.

I wonder what that says about me.

I had one of those nights where I had back-to-back lucid dreams— well, nightmares are more like it.

The last one was the grossest.

I had a little cut on my finger and squeezed it for some reason, and then some long bug larvae came out, and I started screaming. My partner pulled it out, but part of it broke off. A couple of minutes later, in the dream, I felt something wriggling around in my finger, so I squeezed it again, and a whole ass centipede that looked like an elongated roly poly came out of the tiny cut and I started screaming again, and then I woke up.

last night i had a nightmare, and a subsection of it was i was working at a factory (unspecified) with freddie wong and will campos, and i told them “before we get to work i just should put it out there that i really appreciate all of your works and i love dungeons and daddies” and never before had i ever received a look that screamed “i don’t care” more than in that moment

Istg I have some weird ass nightmares. Like it's not the normal gore type of nightmares, at all.

It's just images or darkness and the sense of dread. Like some sort of weird sleep paralysis.

This last nightmare has been fucking me up a bit cause there was other stuff happening then it started to turn into a nightmare. I was able to pull away until it fucking happened.

I got still images of 3 people. On was some sort of painting of an old gentleman, just staring at me, his eyes and smile changed. It went from a frown to a smile, his eyes getting bigger in the 2nd photo, the picture getting closer. In the 3rd iteration the smile and eyes were bigger and it shifted through the three. The second was another older gentleman who just stared. Just fucking stared. I was able to see the 3rd person due to waking up.

Like I can not tell you the amount of dread I had that night. I stayed up for 3 hours with my phone's flashlight on until I saw light in my window. Even with the sun risen I didn't want to go back to sleep but my body demanded it. I was scared to go to bed last night and the fear is still here tonight just less.

Like wtf are these dreams? It's just stillness usually. Sometimes tv snow is overlayed when I wake up or in the dream but that's it. I'm shown still images and feel an immense amount of dread/fear before waking up.

I don't fucking get it.

I dreamed I was at my high schools library and I had to go in when it was empty and turn on all the lights but there were scary clowns from Magnus archives circus of the other hiding somewhere in the library waiting to scare me and I had to like avoid and run past certain sections to avoid bumping into one. I got scared by a clown anyway and woke up

Just had the silliest nightmare of someone handing me a full cup of water while I was half asleep and I proceeded to spill this seemingly never ending water cup every where, especially over my electronics. How did they get into my locked apartment and why did they do it to hand half asleep dream me a cup of water?

I had a dream the other night where I was at a shopping centre in a town near where I live, and there was this rumour that hidden in the women's bathroom on the top floor there was something called "Roy's room" so I went up to the top floor and it was completely abandoned, I found the women's bathroom and went in there, and behind the stalls there was this little living room setup, and standing in the middle of it was Roy from dhmis, just completely still, and it scared the absolute shit outta me for some reason.

theres a certain youtuber that i like and every once in a while i see some bullshit drama starting video about them and i'll start it like "oh no did they do something really bad" and every time its always "idk they just strike me as really creepy" about extremely normal social anxiety/awkward behaviors.

anyway some of yall are extremely not okay about very minor "not fitting in" behavior and it's really really cruel. stop being fucking mean girls.
